Setting
"The Chaos Shrine is a straightforward arena with a large central room lined with destructible pillars dominated by a ramp leading from the doors of the shrine to a throne against the opposite wall (which can be destroyed with a Wall Rush). Portraits of the Four Fiends can be seen in the corners of the room. In addition to fighting in the shrine itself, players can also fight on the roof, which is almost entirely open with a handful of destructible pillars and statues. A portal to Chaos's realm can be seen in the sky. If a character is knocked into it by a powerful attack, the shrine's roof can be destroyed, resulting in the arena becoming almost entirely open and destructible rubble falling into the arena's main chamber."

Old Chaos Shrine
An ancient temple north of Cornelia Ruins. It has fallen into the hands of the Dark Elf, Astos. Though, a certain knight of Cornelia can be seen here on occasion as well.

Lightning walked into the Chaos Shrine, looking around, though her face was as expressionless as ever as she looked around. "You would think there would be someone here..."
Ramza Beoulve walked into the Chaos Shrine, following Lightning. They had come from the direction of Cornelia Ruins it seemed. "This place gives me a bad vibe. Not exactly like the Lucavi, but...similar." he replied to Lightning.
Garland (FF1) was standing near the throne in the shrine, and then turned around to see Lightning and Ramza. "Who are you?! Have you come to provide me with a worthy challenge?" he questioned.
Garland (FF1) groans and loosens his grip on his blade. "Well then, what do you want?" he asked, bluntly.
Ramza Beoulve nodded at Lightning, and then looked over to Garland. "You seem to be a rather capable warrior. Do you think you might be willing to join us?" he asked the armor-clad man.
Lightning turned back to look at Garland again, waiting on his answer with her usual expressionless mask on her face.
Garland (FF1) looked down for a while. "Let me think about it, hmm...I'll join you under one condition. You leave Astos to me." he replied. "As long as it is by my blade that the Dark Elf meets his end, we have a deal."
