Magic, a force that is everywhere. One that muggles sometimes refuse to acknowledge, muggles being a non practicer of magic. Like most stories, ours starts with a group of people. An unusual bunch, they studied at a school called. Diuinitati, meaning divinity in Latin. Diuinitati is a school for wizards and witches to come and learn how to control and expand their magic. Most students, though they may have their negative aspects, don't mean any real harm. Where there is good though, evil always lurks in the shadows waiting to jump out and snatch the innocent before they even realize that they've been caught in it's deadly web.

Hidden away in the middle of Lake Superior is where a few lucky seven hundred or so, students find themselves for ten months out of the year, unless they leave for vacations. Most of them, don't mind that they go to school so long, for their school is one of wonders that enlightens them. Diuinitati, once you get past the tongue twister it is, it's an eye opener for many students, and one that will begin a new course this year.

--

Andy sighed. She was, in a few words, bored out of her mind. Though, looking out the window, she had to admit that the view was always wondrous. Since she found out she was a witch, Andy had loved traveling to Diuinitati. All students boarded what looked to be a steam punk submarine, that had plush rooms for students to sit in while they traveled. Getting to see schools of fish, the occasional whale, or shark, was just marvelous and pretty much a thrill ride for first years. Andy, was always glad to return to Diuinitati, but she was not looking forward to the meeting she would have to have with the other Clan Leader's after the Welcoming Banquet.

Seeing the marker, a lonesome pole that hovered by the track that the submarine took, Andy pulled on her robes. They were black, with the Blackburn insignia on the back in intricate detail. Pulling out her badge that showed she was a Clan Leader, Andy carefully pinned it on her robe, just above her right breast. Pulling her hair back in a ponytail, Andy gathered up her things, shoving various doodles, pencils, pens, and her itouch, back in her messenger back.

"Do you need anything off the cart before you leave dearest?" One of the house elves asked popping up in front of Andy with a tray of her favorite snacks. Andy shook her head at the aging elf, Dolly her name was.

"No thank you. I'm quite full from the food you brought earlier. It was delicious." Andy said. The little elf bowed and popped out of site as she submarine began to slow down. Opening the door to her compartment, Andy typically sat alone until she reconciled with her friends for not writing as much as she should have over the summer. "Alright everyone, get your robes on. We are nearing the school and I don't want anyone getting into trouble." Andy said sternly glaring at a few other second years who had been grinning a little too widely for her liking. The chances of them having something that was on the contraband list was more than likely. For some reason people always thought they could get away with sneaking things into the school.

"Andy! We've found you. Where are you going?" Delilah asked as she came out of her compartment, her robes were open revealing a low cut top and low rider jeans. Andy arched a brow at her choice of attire. Delilah was a sweet girl, who liked to entertain the idea that she was Andy's best friend, though Delilah would never be able to replace Reader. That girl was too special.

"I am going up to the front of the submarine, so that I can help escort people safely over the bridge to Diuinitati's entrance." Andy said and turned to walk away. Throwing Delilah, who was pouting, a look over her shoulder she added. "I'll see you at the Welcoming Banquet, and Delilah, close your robe." Despite being friends, Andy was still a Clan leader after all and making sure dress code was up held a part of the job. Pursing her full pink lips, grey eyes swung over the crowds scanning faces as the submarine began to dock at the bridge. "Alright everyone, make your way to the submarine doors in an orderly manner." Andy said ushering a few people along as she did. One first year girl gave her a particularly nasty look as she passed. The girl didn't have the prettiest of faces, and it was even worse with a snarl on her face.

"Torture provokes to divorce sanity...horror, mummifies victims who plead..."

Isabelle Vieira leaned her elbow on her knee, resting her cheek on the knuckles of her fist as she murmured along the lyrics of Suffocation's Bind Torture Kill--which was, at that moment, being blasted into her head via headphones buried in her ears, as always at obscene volumes that could only cause one to wonder how it was she had yet to sustain hearing damage. Well, she could've cared less. Nothing would stop her from listening to her music as loud as she damn well wanted. And of course, she was alone in this particular cabin. It'd been that way the last two years, she did not expect it to change now. Nobody really wanted to spend the entire trip being glared murderously at and listening to the music being played at outrageous volumes such that anyone in the cabin could hear it perfectly fine. Well, that suited her just as well--what did she care? Don't need anyone else taking up the space around me, she mused to herself as she glared out the porthole and into the depths of the waters.

"You judge my world, your views have been mistaken...the sickness stems, deeper than it seems..."

The woman who refused to be known by any name but 'Izzie' had not seen fit to change into her robes, bunched up in a mess and laid out on the vacant seat beside her, quite yet. In point of fact, she never wore the damn things, not up until they were pulling up at the school and the Clan Leader would be having a fucking hissy fit if Izzie didn't put the damn robes on. And though normally Izzie had absolutely no problems with pissing off the Clan Leader (she rather enjoyed it), the last time it'd happened it turned into one whole shitfest and members of the staff got involved, so it seemed she'd have to put on the outdated, inhibiting, absolutely idiotic clothing. At least on the way she could wear whatever the fuck she liked--which she was. A dark green button up shirt she'd bought off a surplus store a few years back, the upper portion of a uniform, hung on her broad shoulders, the sleeves rolled up to expose an assortment of spiked and studded wrist bands wrapped over the tattooed skin of her wrists and forearms; unbuttoned, the plackets drifting aside to reveal a black shirt emblazoned across with the logo of Napalm Death set over the trademark skull and bar code image. Her lower body was clothed in a pair of heavy denim jeans, torn and patched in a couple of areas; around the waist of the jeans was wrapped a copper bullet belt, from which hung a number of chains of varying weight and length. And finally, tucked under the jeans, her feet were clad in shin-high harness boots, completing an image of a Muggle delinquent who, Izzie was guessing, would have been the last person anyone would assume to be a witch.

It was probably a pointless endeavour to put it all on when she was invariably going to end up wearing robes over it--but she figured it was worth the horrified, stunned looks she got from the other assorted witches and wizards in those few seconds before she slid those god-forsaken robes over the outfit. And anyway, at the very least, she was gonna wear whatever the hell she wanted under the robes if she had to. That much the school couldn't really stop anyone from doing.

"Lunacy dictates my being, enslaved until my demise surrenders me...until then I must feed the demons--fuel my rage, and commence to haunting you..."

As the song approached its breakdown, Izzie caught sight of the familiar marker that was set alongside the submarine's path--the signal that it was time to begin departing the cabins and heading up to the doors. With an irate exhalation of breath, Izzie stood, stretching her arms out briefly before turning to glare down at those cursed robes as though she would've liked nothing more than to rip them to shreds with her own two hands. Wouldn't that be the day, she mocked silently as she reached out to roughly grab the pitch black robes and slide them on over her 'real clothes', as she was fond of putting it. She reached her inked hands up to pull her hair out of the robes, and then paused before reaching down into the pocket of her jeans, withdrawing a single hair band; silently, she pulled her hair back into a ponytail that fell down to the centre of her back, allowing a few loose clumps of hair to sway around the sides of her head.

That done, the twenty year old witch shoved her music player, still blasting music, into the pocket of her robes, and then exited the cabin to begin making her way towards the doors of the submarine. First and second year students, excited to be going to Diunitati for their first time--or returning for their first time--flocked around her enthusiastically, distressing the young witch. "Move," she snarled, physically moving aside a few of the damn twerps as if they were little more than twigs--which was an easy conception to fall into when you were a good few inches taller than most of those present and significantly more physically built. Well, that was the fault of the witches and wizards--wasn't Izzie's fault if they ended up built like twigs because they thought they could depend on magic for everything and anything. She still got a few reproaching glares from some of the students around her for her behaviour, but...Hell, I can't think of a time when I wasn't getting reproachful glares, she thought with a smirk. Even before Diuinitati. She was used to it, so even when the hostility was practically palpable, she merely cast her dark, heavy-lidded eyes forward and continued to make her way towards the doors of the submarine--eager to return to Diuinitati. Every moment of the two months in which she'd had to leave the school behind and return to what little she did have out in the Muggle world had been spent in dire anticipation of the moment in which she would finally be able to return to the school--when she would finally be able to again immerse herself in what felt like a completely different world, a better world, a far happier world.

Alex was really looking forward to this year. He might even see the Liopleurodon this year! That alone made coming here worth it. That and the awesome dorms, all underwater. That was just sheer genius! Underwater dorms! He had spent the journey alternating between staring out the window, looking for creatures, and reading his 'bible'. The Quibbler, that is. He loved that magazine! It told so much more than anything else. Of course people thought he was crazy for reading it, but those people were just ignorant. That was his opinion though.

He hoped that this year would be better than last though, last year had been pretty bad. All his books had gone missing, along with the pair of Spectrespecs he had gotten from The Quibbler. He had found them, eventually, but who knew how many Wrackspurts had been floating about in the weeks he hadn't been able to see them. Then again, people had been suffering the effects of them anyway, so he assumes that the silly antics that the Wrackspurts had caused was punishment enough. Oh yes, he knew that his Spectrespecs had been stolen, and had a fair idea of who had taken them as well. The list was pretty long, but he at least knew who it hadn't been. That was enough for Alex.

He saw some people getting ready, and he grinned. They were nearly there! Yes! Oh, right, his robes. Where were they? Ah yes, under the seats, away from the Nargles. They hid on the ceilings, and damaged things. So he had hidden his robes. Okay, they were a bit creased now, but at least they were safe. Hah! Take that, Nargles! Outwitted by Alexander Lupin Ramsey, nineteen years old, second year in Diunitati, of the Demopilous Clan!
Pulling the robes on, he grabbed his magazine and left the compartment, his excitement making him partially oblivious to the flurry of people around him, and so he crashed into an extremely tall witch ('Izzie').
"Oh, sorry, didn't see ya there! Hi~ya! You were here last year, right? Izzie, isn't it? Hi~!", he said in a kind of sing-song voice, sounding more like a hyper child than a nineteen-year-old wizard.

Reader continued to munch on the treats brought by the house elves, choosing as much as she can as the submarine takes them towards Diuinitati. Excited first years looked like they are ready to bounce of their seats as they become fascinated by their surroundings. Which totally freaked out Reader, she hated being under water. Why can't they travel on land just like they did on that other school back in England? The one her dad took her too when she was a kid. What was it's name? Something like pigwarts? Oh shoot, whatever Read thought. All these seaweeds and fishes looked weird for her taste. She'd rather breath fresh air than smelling other people's sweat and odor.

She was about to finish last of her chocolate frogs when she saw a smaller bloke bumping into her least favorite person- Izzie. He seemed familiar to Read as she saw a better view of who he was, the Quibbler reading guy! Now if she just can remember his name, was it Al? Oh well, the scene was more fun to watch than to think of what his name is.

Read watched as he tried to start a conversation with one of the least sociable students of the school who is most likely to end up having a fight with her most of the time. She was ready to see Quibbler guy getting beat up when she heard her best friend's voice from afar as she instructed the first years who have now eagerly lined up according to Andy's orders. She smiled mischievously, planning to make things more interesting for the new students. She pulled out a piece of Puking Pastilles from her bag, imported from England from a famous joke shop they called Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes. How she loved that place. She even thinks she's an honorary English woman rather than an American. Their school's is way hidden in the mountains instead of being partially underwater and on an island.

She tapped a gullible looking first year and said, "Hi, how are you? My name's Izzie and I would like to welcome you into Diuinitati in behalf of the other students. And I would like to give you these Pastilles in honoring the tradition of welcoming new students. Go on try some and pass these few around. They are terrific," She gave the boy around 4 pieces as he passed it towards the other students. She slid out and slipped on to her robes as she made her way towards the exit with her bag. Pretending to be Izzie was fun but it's more fun when the new students report her name instead of hers. Izzie deserved it in Reader's opinion. She still owed her a few points deducted from her house after the fight they had last year. And it wasn't even her fault.

"Andy!" She called unto her friend and came closer to her side. "I'll see you inside the school okay? I'll save you a seat before all these munchikins take ever spot on the table." She finished and dashed out once again. Squeezing her way out of the submarine as it came to a halt and the entry way opened, just in time to hear a few students hurled as they started puking and becoming sick. If they read the wrapper- they'll see how to cure their selves but for now Reader happily got out of the submarine and was more than relieved to be done being under water.

#, as written by Sorant
This submarine trip was a pretty exciting experience to behold. Samuel had enjoyed the entire trip spending most of it taking notes in a small red notebook about the various animals and sea life he saw that interested him. Plus it would be good to know what kind of things were here under the water and if he could find any ingredients for different potions or spells. Even though he knew his classes would provide ingredients he wanted to know where to get his own in case he ever wanted to make things in his spare time. Once he was done with his notes he closed the book and took out his wand and uttered a few words. The book's color changed from red to black and if anyone opened it they would find the pages blank. Only someone who knew the magical phrase and Sam's personal password they would not be able to read any of the secrets he had in the book.

Soon he noticed that the sub's speed was slowing which could only mean that they was coming to their destination soon. From all the books, brochures, and people he had spoken with he knew this would be the time to put on his robes but he already had put them on to save times later. His robes were similar to all the other students except that his crest was Dawes. Under these robes he wore brown slacks with a brown leather belt, black comfortable loafers, and a button down royal blue shirt that was tucked in. Around his neck was a striped blue and gold tie that matched his crest. He had wanted to give a good impression of himself to people on this first day. But these clothes weren't what he normally liked to wear but he knew that people judged by looks even if they didn't matter. He checked his bags and belongings making sure everything was secure and put away as the sub came to a stop. Which they were since no one but himself had been in this room at all except the elves that had brought food. He had wanted someone to ride with him, not for companionship, but to gather a bit more information from them. When he had tried to go into one of the higher year cabins they had hastily ushered him out with excuses of 'Saving that seat for a friend'. There had been one with a rough looking woman who seemed a little taller than himself who sat alone. But the dangerous look she gave him the moment he opened the door had told him not to even try. So he had ended up alone which suited him fine. But he knew if he didn't get along with someone his mother would worry. And it wasn't like he could make up friends since his aunt worked at the school and would tell his mother everything.

Okay breath in and out. Then you are ready to interact. Don't blow it no matter what. Sam thought to himself s he got ready to go outside of his room. Once outside he saw plenty of first years and other students gathering and chatting excitedly. He was just as excited as them although his face would not show that. He watched as one of the higher years began spouting out orders to the others to help organize them. He saw many different people doing plenty of different things. One person handed him something like a pastry saying that it was a treat from one of the higher ups named Izzy. He saw plenty of others eating the snacks but he noticed that they all seemed to be the younger first years. Before even opening it he read the entire packaging and ingredients and caught the part that this came from a joke shop. It would induce vomiting and could only be stopped by eating the orange part. He pocketed the joke snack and made his way past anyone he had seen eating it. He had to make sure he was out of the puke zone so that he wouldn't get covered in sickness.

As he pushed and made his way forward he accidentally bumped a few people a bit too hard and muttered quick 'Excuse me's and 'I'm sorrys'. It was a bit cramped with all the bodies. He couldn't wait to get outside in the open. Being cooped up wasn't really for him. Plus he couldn't wait to see his room and Pepper his pet Wyvern. Behind him he heard puking noises and screams as the effects of the sweets started. A few of the higher years went back to help control the situation. Inside he chuckled a bit That's what people get for eating something without knowing what it was. But then again some of them might have known and did it anyway. Oh well he wasn't sick so he had no need to worry. But this snack would be a good ingredient to use in experimental potions. He began to make his way up front again trying to get past the rubberneckers trying to see what was going on behind them.

Once up front he ran into that woman he had met earlier on the trip. Except this time she had her robes on but she stilled had the anti-social aura around her. He thought that it would be a good idea to stick close to her. Mostly because people gave he a wide berth and enough room to pass. It would make getting out of there easier. So he quickly fell into step with her but not so close as to seem like he was walking with her. He was just using the lane she created as a way to get somewhere faster. To some it might seem like they were walking together and would look like a strange sight. One that looked like a proper model citizen and the other who looked like she would gladly kick your head off.

Izzie wanted to curse out loud (in fact, she did. Several times, muttering under her breath). More specifically, she wanted to curse someone--more specifically, several someones flocking around her. It was getting on her nerves and distressing her, even when the students she was bulldozing aside quickly moved out of her way--most were first years anyway, easily intimidated and none too keen to get on the bad side of a witch who seemed to hate them all already. And fortunately thus far it was only the first years who were getting in the way for her to shove aside; not everyone was so willing to step aside from her abrasive, headstrong behaviour as the impressionable first and second years. Ain't my fault the over-excitable twerps keep getting in my goddamn way, she reasoned as yet another pair of chattering, grinning, clearly highly thrilled first years were...'relocated' from Izzie's path. Why in the hell were they so damn excited anyway? Diuinitati wasn't that amazing...

Ha...what a joke. She could very well remember just how excited she'd been when she'd first been on the way here--or perhaps apprehensive was the more appropriate term. Afraid. Doubtful. Anxious. She'd been fresh from being informed that she was a witch, which she figured was the kind of thing that threw anyone for a loop, and was now being escorted into an entire universe she couldn't have anticipated for the life of her. And even if the stony-faced, quiet eighteen year old woman boarding the submarine three years ago had done well to hide the rising apprehension and uneasiness, Izzie was well aware that in comparison even to the enthusiastic first years...

Wham.

The woman was stopped short, in her tracks and in her thoughts, by a collision--with, when she looked down to see what or who the hell had run into her, what looked to be another one of aforementioned overexcited second years. Who then commenced to firing off a series of extremely enthusiastic words at speeds the breakneck music Izzie listened to could only listen on in envy of--much to the witch's ailment. She felt restlessness building up as he began to speak, fists clenching and unclenching. "Oh! Sorry! Didn't see ya there! Hiya! You were here last year, ri..."

"Move!" Izzie finally lost it, the impatience and distress finally getting to her, and interjected sharply, reaching forward to shove the talkative second year aside and continue angrily barrelling onwards. She gave it no more thought than that--he'd been in the way, therefore she was justified in shoving him out of it. Seemed reasonable to her.

What didn't seem quite so reasonable was the sudden bout of vomiting several first years not far behind suddenly fell into. The sounds of sickness ('symphonies of sickness', she mused, hearkening back to that particular Carcass album) emanated from behind her--Izzie figured they'd been victims of a prank. That, or someone had brought some horrifically contagious disease onto the submarine and they were now all going to die. Probably the latter.

As Theodore and Blair Lexington boarded the submarine to take them to Diuinitati neither of them felt overly excited, being Teddy’s third year and Blair’s second the excitement of this enchanting school had faded when their first year had ended, now it was just like any other school, just because they were witches and wizards didn’t mean they didn’t have classes, hell, they probably had to study harder than regular students at your average Joe high school. Yet even though the prospect of spending another year at the school seemed extremely tedious, neither would deny the small smile that appeared on their lips when they first laid eyes on the school and the warming feeling that gathered in their hearts.

As the siblings pushed their way down the crowded, long corridors of the submarine, in hope of finding an empty compartment or at least one that wasn’t full of first years. Stopping in front of one Blair turned to her brother with a smile “Told you I’d find one Ted” she smirked opening the door to walk inside, as Teddy placed their carry-on’s in the overhead rails Blair took a seat and peered out the small porthole, idly twirling a strand of blonde hair around her finger she smiled as the different underwater species passed by. Blair, for one had always preferred mammals to fish, however she could not deny the beauty that they held as they swam past the porthole.

“So you ready for this year?” Teddy’s voice broke the silence as he flopped down in the chair opposite.

Blair nodded leaning her head back to rest against the back of the chair “Not looking forward for the questions off all these first years though” She added glancing back out into the corridor as they continued to mill around.

Teddy let out a small laugh “You were one last year B” he reminder with a smirk.

“Urgh don’t remind me” she laughed, remembering last year’s antics, she had to admit for the most part her first year had been fun, it had been great being able to spend the time with her brother, instead of being left behind at home like the year previous and she had made some amazing friends.

The journey past with idle chatter amongst the siblings until Blair noticed the time on her wrist watch “ah Crap!” she cursed standing up.

“What’s wrong?” Teddy asked looking up from his paper.

Reaching into her bag she quickly pulled on her robe “I’m late” She stated, quickly pulling out a compact to check her hair and makeup, after applying a little more lip gloss she put everything away “Why did I opt to become a clan leader again?”

Teddy chuckled “Extra credit” he reminded her, remembering the ultimatum she had been given by the headmaster, either re-sit the year or become a clan leader for the Campbell clan, seeing as their clan were seemingly low on students who wanted to take on the responsibilities.

“Yeah, yeah, I’ll see you later” she said with a roll of her eyes. Leaving the compartment Blair hurried down the corridor to the front of the submarine, where people would soon be disembarking. She immediately spotted Andy near the door and made her way over to her “Hey” she greeted with a smile.

Alex was suddenly cut off by finding himself getting shoved out the way by Izzie, and he watched as the older woman stalked off, the crowds, perhaps sensing how pissed off she was, quickly getting out of her way. He blinked in confusion: did she hate him? Or did she just hate everyone? As social as Alex was, he didn't really have a good understnding of people's emotions and reasons for doing things. Or maybe he never really took much notice. Maybe both, who knew?

Whatever it was, Izzie's violent action surprised him, not because he hadn't expected it (he had seen how the older witch had acted last year), but because he had only been trying to be friendly, and he wasn't used to people rejecting that...not right away at least. Normally it was a few hours before they made their excuses to leave his odd presence.
"Oh...okay...Bye then!", he called after her, noticing a dark haired boy taking advantage of the path Izzie cleared and following her, though not close enough that she would notice and kick him into next week. He liked that saying, 'kicked into next week'...it was funny. Even though it didn't make sense, and wasn't even physically possible...It was a Muggle saying though, and he found Muggles interesting. He was pure blood though, as much as he hated referring to himself as that. It just sounded pretentious and arrogant, two things that Alex wasn't. What you saw was what you got with him. If you didn't like it, then you could...well, Alex couldn't think of anything at the moment. He wasn't a predominantly mean person. He could hurt people, sure, but he didn't like it. He actually wanted to keep the few friends he had.

Speaking of which, where were they? Oh well, he'd probably see them later. He wasn't too worried about them really. They knew where he would be if they needed him.

The light flashed off the cold blade again. It moved erratically. The talon on a grotesque creature, it swayed between it's victims deciding on who will be chosen. The eyes of the wielder, full of greed and contempt, watched her shaking in terror. In one fatal thrust it was all over. There she lay. Her blood flowing like a crimson river. The blade flashed one last time as all life was dragged away...

Jonathan awoke with a start from his vivid nightmare. Breathing heavily and uncontrolled, he wiped the cold sweat from his brow and ran his long fingers through his now greasy hair. Slowly, his breathing returned to an acceptable pace and his heart beat somewhat regularly.
Why must that night torture me? He thought to himself in despair. Why can't I move on? His hands were still shaking slightly, like his entire body but this also seemed to be dying away. Until a voice broke through the deadly silence of the cabin.
"Are you ok?"

Jonathan jumped to his feet and pressed himself against the wall like a cornered rat before searched the cabin in search of the voice. Finally, his spell-binding grey eyes met the speaker's own calming brown eyes.
"Sorry, didn't mean to frighten you..." Olivia said in a slightly scared voice. Olivia was a fourth year girl of average height with dyed black hair and sun kissed skin. She had sat beside him in potions for the past three years and they were very close friends.

Jonathan body had started shaking again and his mouth and throat were dry. He opened his mouth to speak but closed it again, deciding to think of what to say first. The cabin remained silent while he thought. Then, when he had finally decided on what to say, he spoke.
"Sorry...I...I just had a bad dream...i-it caught me off guard an-"
"It was that night again wasn't it?" Jonathan shook his head but knew by her expression that he was convincing no-one.
"You can't keep living in the past Jonathan...you need to move on."

Olivia got to her feet and threw Jonathan his robes.
"Get dressed, we're nearly there." She took out her 11 and a half inch long dogwood and Veela hair wand and grinned mischievously. "Finally I can use this baby again!" She giggled happily before exiting the cabin to let Jonathan change as she already had.

He quickly undressed and put his robes on. He then spent ten minutes fixing his hair and robes so that he would look his best on the first day back. Jonathan picked up his books, which had gone flying when he jumped to his feet, and replaced them in his messenger bag. He chanced a glance at the scar running diagonally down his right hand from the bottom of his index finger to the bottom left hand side of his palm.
The only thing I managed to achieve that night... He shook the thoughts from his mind and exited his cabin.

Slowly he made his way up the front of the submarine to get into the school as soon as possible. He took out his fourth year potions book and began to reread the first few potions, mentally comparing them to his own personal spell and potion book (spells and potions that he liked or tried to make himself are written down in it - so far he only managed to create one poison but is still working on them). A heard of elephants could have ran by and he wouldn't have noticed. His only concerns were to get off the sub and into his home away from home.

Reader did her best to one of the first people to get off the submarine as soon as came to a halt and had it's doors open. She was getting agitated again- which isn't a good sign. She has forgotten to check the full moon schedule once again- to which her father would totally go ballistic about. She should be more responsible- she isn't like any other girl. Aside from being a full blooded witch, a curse runs through her veins. A curse passed on by her mother who had to endure certain sufferings when the moon is at it's fullest.

Not checking her schedule meant she has also forgotten to take her wolfsbane, and speaking of wolfsbane- her stock is almost running out. She has to get a few bottles from her Potions professor who happens to be one of her parents' close friends since her mother's accident.

The problem with wolfsbane is that she can't just take a dose without computing how much she needed and when she needs to take it. And not many can help her. Okay so it must be karma for pranking the first years but then it is no joke if the side effects starts to kick in. But then the school should be more thankful that she doesn't fully turn into a werewolf like her mother and instead just needs to be separated from the other students as she can cause havoc and start running and jumping (real high) and can be a harm to others.

"Hurry up Andy," She mumbled under clenched teeth. Andy has always been more responsible than her, in fact her friend even knows her schedule more than she does. Which is totally fine with her, best friends are supposed to look after each other.

Her insides grumbled which made her grab her stomach and rest her body against a tree. She had just gotten out of the submarine and got a breath of fresh air. It made her feel a lot better but not entirely well enough. She checked her wrist watch and saw the time, if her thoughts are correct- she's in a whole lot of trouble. "Anderson," She tried to call for her friend but it was easy to be covered by the hustle and bustle of the first years and other students who were again reunited with their friends and clan members. Her hand began shaking as cold perspiration started forming on her forehead.

He had to get out of this submarine and fast. The smell from the failed or successful joke was starting to catch up with him. He wasn't put off by it but that mixed with this confining space was pushing him to his limit. So Sam quickened his pace no longer caring if it looked like he was walking with the woman in front of him. Once he caught up he actually helped start to push through the crowd with her. He movements were smooth and fluid with a sense of urgency but not a negative one. He politely excused himself when he had to push some people out of his way rather roughly but it had to be done if he wanted to be out of there.

He made it to the front and out onto the school grounds where the fresh air brought a grin to his face. Not wanting to block others he moved away from the exit and off to the side of the obvious path leading to the school where many students were congregating to attend the welcome feast. He saw that out here there were people, students and teachers alike guiding students. A few even asked him for directions on where to go. Luckily he had been going over the school layout and information before coming on this trip so he was able to tell whoever asked him where to go. I could seriously be one of the schools student representatives if I wanted. What was it called.......Oh yeah a Clan head. He thought to himself. But then he remembered why he might not make a good one. He wasn't an extremely sociable guy and while he could lead well he didn't see himself as one to lead others.

Out in the crowd he spotted his aunt keeping watch over the flow of students. He waited until she looked over towards him before he waved to get her attention. She smiled and waved back to him. He half hoped that she would come over there but then again half hoped that she would not. Luckily for his solitary half she did not. He figured he would either catch up with her after the feast or when classes started. Not that he needed to take Flying. His aunt had made sure that he could fly as well as any professional Quidditch player sever since he showed an interest in flying. He knew she hoped he might seriously take up the sport but he didn't have the fire she did in her heart for it.

He looked around the grounds again taking in the scenery. It was an astonishing sight, but then again he always did love watching nature. While many who already had been here have grown bored of it Sam knew he surely would not. As he looked over everything he noticed a girl who seemed to be getting sick. He would not have given it another thought since he knew about the puking joke but then he noticed she seemed to have a different set of symptoms. She looked like she might seriously need some help and no one else had noticed it yet. He quickly jogged over to he and tapped Reader on the shoulder. "Are you alright? " he asked her with genuine concern. He wondered if she might have eaten those pastries and had an allergic reaction. "You didn't eat those joke sweets they were passing out did you?"

"Are you alright? You didn't eat those joke sweets they were passing out did you?"

Reader could hear a voice but couldn't distinctly understand what he was saying. It was more of a blurb than actual words. Her eyes glinted, somehow becoming more of a dog like than human like. Not good.

She kept her head bowing as she held her stomach, few of her things remained lying on the ground as she winced in pain. She tried to call out Andy's name once again but it turned out to be more of a soft growl rather than actual words.

"Stay away," She managed to utter. Pushing who ever it was with her free arm, a little too hard. She hoped she didn't hurt the person. She knew he was just curious or worried that she looked sick. Her strength can be unbearable when she suffers, actually hurting a lot of people. Her father had barely enough space not filled with scratches from her mother and Reader when she was a child. She was glad Wolfsbane was discovered. She refers to her condition as a curse rather than a gift. Who can blame her? Who wants to turn into a were wolf that you can't control yourself even if you want to.

Reader let her body drop on the ground as she rolled around in pain, now both hands clasping her stomach as her legs kicked the dirt. Other people started circling her wondering what was happening to her but no one dared to touch her. Few first year girls gasped and run away while the others tried to get a teacher or staff to see what was happening to her.

This girl was getting sicker and sicker in front of him. He doubted it was from the sweets so it had to be something else. He tried to look at the symptoms and go through what it could be in his head. So far she was having abdomen pains, sweats, and couldn't seem to speak very well. His mind wanted to say PMS but he knew that was too stupid to even mention. He heard her trying to say something so he leaned in closer to try and understand what she was saying.

"Stay away."

She growled at him and pushed Sam causing him to fly a few feet backwards. He landed on his butt with a thump and was a bit winded since she pushed him in the stomach. That push pretty much gave him the final clue as to what was happening. The unusual strength, sweats, and pains were all signs of a 'Were-animal' transformation. While there were plenty of different kinds of 'Weres' he was willing to bet this was a werewolf. Especially since there was a Clan here with ties to Lycanthrope.

He stood up quickly and tried to think of a way to help. The best remedy would be a Wolfs-bane potion but he didn't have the time nor the materials to make it. So he grabbed a passing student and told them that they needed to get the potions master quickly for Wolfs-bane and that a student was turning at the submarine docks. He watched as they ran off alerting people as they went. Soon other students began to notice the girl and some even began to scream. No one else seemed interested in trying to help her though. He knew that he shouldn't get involved because of the dangers but he still couldn't just watch either. SO he made up his mind and ran back over to her.

"Okay okay okay....What to do?" he said more to himself than to her. His mind raced at the different things he might be able to do. There wasn't much information on what to do while someone is turning. Most of the facts about werewolves were about what to do before they began and after they turned. There were a few spells that were rumored to work but most were still in their experimental phases at best. The only one he could remember full and didn't require a ritualistic set up was a version of the Homorphus Charm. It was developed out east and hadn't been confirmed to completely work yet and at best this one would only stave off a transformation for a short while if it even worked.

Sam took out his wand and stood over Reader and tried to keep calm and visualize the words he needed. He focused only on this girl and nothing else around him. Slowly the words came to him and he began to say them while keeping his wand pointed at her.

*Comprimi bestia intra
Trahere umbra super luna
Animum eam proprio
Ne transformatio
*

A soft yellowish light came from the tip of his wand. The light floated away from the tip of his wand towards Reader. The ball grew as it got closer to about the size of a child's fist. When it floated above her it floated down towards her head. The light began to stretch and flatten until it looked like a gold plate was floating above her head. If it had a hole the yellow charm would have looked like a halo. Sam wasn't sure if it would work or not but if it did manage to help at all he would be glad. Even if all it did was distract her for a bit it would be fine. Hopefully whoever went off to get that potion's master was on their way back with them.

Suddenly she was enveloped by something warm, like a mother's embrace as she feeds her child from her bosom. There was something soothing about the feeling though still a few pain jolted across her vein causing her to ease on the ground and some occasional jerks. Reader let her eyes closed as tears stream down her cheeks, mixing with the dirt that soiled her face.

She felt like dying, if she was on her way to heaven it was sure a hellavu bumpy ride. Her throat began feeling parched as the cold earth rubbed against the exposed part of her skin, through her legs and some have managed to get inside her clothes. Most probably because of the way she kicked and wrestled herself on the ground earlier. Her hair was messy while a few pieces of grass and leaves stuck to it.

The warm feeling continued to soothe her like a pacified baby leaving a few sobs to escape her lips. Whatever it was, it took away the pain.
