Family history: The Haraskis' roots are nomadic in origin as many of the noble houses were. However, they were blessed with slightly greater physiques. With this genetic advantage they crushed a few other tribes and formed a sphere of dominance in the foothills of the great Hasras Mountains, from which they took their name. They ruled by the strength of their sword arms for centuries, until the day that the finest son of the family decided to go adventuring, to find the tomb of the first Haraskis, and he perished on his quest, losing the family sword. The family's fortune fell after that, and they have never truly recovered. By the present day they've lost their hold over the fortress city that had grown up around their original encampment to the usurping House Araskis, a cadet branch. Their power is fairly spent, and their holding meagre. However, there is still strength in the arms of the Haskaris, and the new patriarch is an ambitious ruler, who has plans to reclaim his family's power.

Family members: Patriarch Aelfric: A powerful warrior, his fur is frost white, and his muscles large. He has a several scars across his chest from where he fought a great bear. He is extremely ambitious and will do anything he can to put his family back on top. He carries a longsword, and a jagged edged shield into battle, but wears no armor.
Maelric: The brother of Aelfric, he is nearly the opposite of his brother. He is lean where Aelfric is broad, and content when compared to ambition. All he truly does these days is sit around the estate and do the family's budgets, which is unbecoming of Haskraskis, but it needs to be done.
Ander: The heir apparent of the Haskaris, he is Aelfric's pride and joy. He is nearly as good a warrior as his father, but only half his age, though he has a weakness for beautiful women, and ale. He is massive, standing at a whopping 6 and a half feet. His shoulders are broad and his muscles large. He is quite skilled with the massive axe he favors, and few can withstand his wrath for long. However, he has no real mind for intrigues and plotting, and does not understand the concept of lying.
Hulda: Wife of Aelfric, she is a beautiful example of the Kurkai race, and is the stern matriarch of the family. She loves her family dearly and will do anything to protect them.

Public agenda: To serve their lord as faithfully as possible, and to recover their ancient family heirloom, a sword called Frostfang
Secret agenda: To reclaim their right place as rulers of Harash, and obliterate the usurper.

Family Assets: One small castle out in the wilderness (the family retreat) guarded by the bulk of the Haraskis retinue of 120 good soldiers. Their home in the city is fairly modest and has a staff of 7. Monetary assets are in the middle range, with the family possessing about 236 pounds of silver. A few scatter familes are loyal, and they have connections to a few other cities.
