The one thing Matthew isn't is materialistic, and his wardrobe shows it. Logo-less baseball tees, plain pairs of jeans, hoodies of varying colours and comfortable sneakers are his daily wear. He won't spend hours tweaking his appearance in the mirror but he won't slack-off and do nothing, a quick focused fresh-up every morning and night does the trick just as well in his opinion.
P E R S O N A L I T Y
Matthew's foremost personality traits are all reflective of his ability of physical intangibility. Long ago he consciously realized there was no need for fear of physical threat or injury, and has long since adapted to life without such worries. He is consistently laid-back, absent-minded, and content with most if not all situations and people. Although relaxed, Matt is undeniably lazy when it comes to mundane tasks, his attention span is short and he'll be just as happy abandoning things to carry on "later" or to abandon for someone else to finish. He can seem apathetic towards others at first due to confidence issues but once he finds a friend, he keeps them.
A B I L I T Y
Matthew has the power of intangibility and has learned how to harness his simple ability to it's utmost effectiveness. The power is activated / deactivated instantly at his will and is completely unnoticeable to anyone but himself due to no audio or visual indication. While intangible Matthew is able to selectively pass through any physical matter as if it weren't there. He is also able to make objects he is in contact with intangible, although larger objects take more effort and concentration to account for. Through training Matt has learned how to remain intangible for long periods of time, and how to mix using his ability in hand to hand and melee combat; such as avoiding attacks by phasing through attackers and weapons alike. Non-violent methods of conflict resolution will always be his strong suit, however he isn't against using equal force when there are no other feasible options.
