Name: Hudson Chase Matthews
Nickname: Just Hudson
Age: Twenty-Three
Job: Part-time server at Sonny's BBQ & Farm hand.
Sexuality: Straight.
Hometown:Wimberely, Texas.
Likes: Warm weather. Come on, now. I'm from Texas. Did you expect anything else?
Horses. They're a spirited species, ain't they? I've been ridin' since I was able to walk. Mama made sure of it.
Southern Cooking. It doesn't get much better than mashed potatoes, sweet tea, pulled pork brisket, and green beans.
Down-To-Earth Types. I know that I want to know all about the lives of the rich and famous, but that don't mean that I have to be all stuck up. Celebrities have no excuse to act like that anyway.
Children. Family and children are real important to me. Without family, you have nothing. Keep 'em close.
Guitars & Music. I've been playin' this here ole' guitar since I was about thirteen. I've got a voice that goes pretty nicely with it too. I guess that's why I'm an aspiring country music artist.
The Outdoors. I like being outside with the sunshine. Hiking, riding, fishing, hunting, walking.. it really doesn't matter as long as I'm outside.
Dislikes: Arugments. They're pointless. It's better to be rational, walk away for a while, and talk about it later.
Playing Dumb. It just gets under my skin when girls act dumb. Do they honestly think that's attractive. Well, it's not.
Cats. Being an animal lover, you'd think these little guys would be welcome around me. No such luck. They're 'bout as annoying as mosquitoes.
Ties. They're just too formal for me. I'm a laid back kinda man.
Confinement. I'm not talking about like a prison, though I don't imagine I'd like that too much either. I'm talking about havin' to stay indoors and not see the sunlight. Could you imagine it?
Diet Sodas. Just yuck.
Fears: I reckon' I'm scared of failure, but aren't we all? I really want to make it in the music industry. Hopefully, this TV show will help my accomplish that. I guess you could also say that I'm afraid of being stabbed in the back. You hear about it all the time with these celebrities. I guess I'll just be weary of who I trust, right?
Personality: Most would describe me as a southern gentleman and I can't say that I disagree. My mama raised me to respect women and that's how it's always been. It's "yes ma'am", "no sir", "please", and "thank you". Now when it comes to cussin' or something of that sort in front of the ladies, I don't tolerate it. That fact's been known to get me into a little trouble. I'm not above fighting, but there has to be a pretty damn good reason for me to do so. I'm the kind of guy who works hard for what I need and don't take the easy way out. When people take short-cuts, they make mistakes. I'm pretty much an open book, but it does take a little work to get me to talk about my feelings. Other than that, feel free to ask me anything you'd like to know.
History: I was born into a decent sized family - two brothers and a sister. The small town of Wimberely, Texas doesn't hold too much excitement, so we had to make our own. Living on a farm helped with the boredom too. There was always something that needed to be done or that you could find to do. I guess that's probably one of the reasons I picked up riding horses and playing the guitar - just to pass the time. My older brother, Harrison, graduated high school and went on to law school. My younger brother, Noah, decided to up and join the Army and my younger sister, Kathleen's still in high school, but she plans on becoming a nurse. And me, well I'm just working at the local barbecue restaurant and helping Daddy with the farm. Not a whole lot has changed. He's getting older and can't hardly keep up with the place, so I decided to stay home and help out. College just wasn't for me to tell the truth. I've never been a "classroom" kinda guy. When I heard about this new show, I knew I had to audition. The chance to see how the other half lives and hopefully get my music career started. Who knows what will happen!
