Welcome to the Salem, Massachusetts, 1692. People are being accused of witchcraft and killed for it. Some really are, some aren't. The court isn't very good at how they judge if your a witch or not though. One way they do it they put a pebble in a pot of boiling water and make you reach your hand in there and take the pebble out. Then they wait a week. After that week a priest comes to see your burn. If you were healed nicely they said you were not guilty, but if you weren't healed nicely they said you were guilty. Personally, I think that it depends on how long it took you to grab the pebble if it's going to heal well or not. Or they might take you to a body of water and throw you in it. If you float up, your a witch if you sink and drown you were not guilty. At least that's what they think. Now, if the court said you were a witch you were either hanged or burned at the stake. You could also be beheaded or pressed to death. On some rare occasions if you confessed you were a witch it was just life in prison.

Basically, your either a human or a witch. A witch is a human with powers. Not like super hero powers, but stuff like spell casting. Some are better at magic than others and have better control. Most witches are good. Some are bad, but that is very few.
If your a human your either a normal villager, part of the court, or a hunter. Now, you have to remember, the court members and the hunters aren't necessarily bad guys. They just do what they think is right, even if it isn't. Most think they're protecting the town, but others just like blood shed.

Re: Do They Really Deserve To Hang?

This is quite interesting, but I was wondering if I could be a half-witch. Maybe a Wiccan? And could they be a hunter too? Like a half-witch, witch hunter?
