The streets were crowded with people heading to work and students heading to school. A homeless man sat against a wall with a plastic cup in his hand. In the cup were only a couple 10 yen coins. The man had lost his job and home a year ago. His family had left him. He felt like he was out of luck. Rikari was in her kimono only meters away from him. She was visible to humans at the moment but many only thought she was either a traditional woman or a rich spouse. Rikari went to the homeless man and dropped a 500 yen coin into the plastic cup. All other coins in the cup turned from the copper colored 10 yen coins into the slightly bronze 500 yen coins. The homeless man didn't noticed the change but he noticed the coin Rikari had dropped into the cup and put his hands together as if he was going to pray to the gods and said: "May the gods bless you for your kindness." Rikari didn't really need the blessing since she was a goddess of luck herself. Rikari then went back up the steps to the shrine. While stepping through the shrines gate, she disappeared like a ghostly figure. To the old man her hair turned from black to a pure white and her eyes from green to red.

She noticed a man in a suit show up to the shrine. It was a yakuza henchmen who often threatened that something would happen to the shrine if the old man wouldnt pay some protection money. "Old man! You need to pay up." The man said. Rikari smirked and said: "Old man. Dont respond. It will all be over soon." Rikari then went to the henchman and punched him in the stomach. The henchman felt a pain in his stomach and coughed up some blood. "I need to head to the hospital, but I will be back." The henchman said. Rikari then returned to the old man and said: "Dont worry. If he comes back, I will make sure he doesnt make it up the stairs. Hopefully we will get real visitors this morning."

Shirozen was walking in the old man's garden the plant were full of life so bright and green. He loved the plants that grew here since there was tons of berry bushes as well as a few flower bushes. Shirozen was looking at a small flower bush that was small and didn't seem to grow an inch for the past week. He sat down near the bush and began to dig near the roots. The plant began to grow, expanding upwards and began bloom with flowers. Bright red flowers that almost seem to glow in the sun. "So beautiful you are." Shirozen said with a smile. "So full of life and color."

Yumi was in her room the fresh smell of bake goods and sugar filled the house. The down stairs doubled as a bakery which was how her family earned money. Yumi wanted to make a cake for her friend's party she wanted to make it strawberry. She wanted to go to the Old Man's shrine where she was sure there would be some fresh strawberries growing. "Mom! Dad! I going out!" She called out as she got on her bicycles. "Be back later." Yumi peddled her bike to the shrine.

Robyn finished her coffee, and put the cup in the sink. Thank god it was her day off. If she had to take another look at Ryson's face, she was sure she would be sick. Nope, not today, though. Today was her day. Instead of her usual business suit, she had opted to wear jeans and a simple kimono-style top. She had an experiment to do, anyway. Her sister had moved to the States, and had given her the old cello they had kept in their patrent's house. Robyn could play fairly well. She put it in it's case, and left the house, locking the door behind her.

Ten minutes later, she had finally made it up the steps to the old shrine. She put 20 Yen in the donations box out of habit. She made a good wage as a lawyer, so she made sure she always donated. She went into the garden, and took the cello out of it's case, setting it next to her on the grass. Taking out her camera, she took a picture of the garden. "Right Robyn. This should be interesting." she murmured to herself, stood up, and started to play. She was really just im provising, but then it started to form a tune. A rich, flowing composition that echoed throughout the small space she was playing in.

The old man came out of the shrine and noticed one young woman in the garden and a girl almost at the shrine. As soon as the other arrived he said: "Young ladies. The gods had spoken to me. They have a gift for you. Due to their like of you two befriending me, they would reveal themselves to you. Normally gods do not like to show themselves to mortals but you have achieved great honor in being able to see them." In the next moment, Rikari appeared in front of both of them with her long white hair and her red eyes. She wore her long kimono. "Good morning. You might know me as Rikarikami or short Rikari." She said as she smiled.

Robyn set the cello against the bench, and bowed to the goddess. "An honour." she said, straightening up. She had absolutely no idea how to react. The only people she generally met were lawyers and judges, so she wasn't too good with casual. It felt a bit weird to offer a goddess a handshake. Then she remembered. She picked up her camera, and took another picture of the garden.

Yumi arrived in the garden to hear the sound of music. She notice a lady playing cello and smiled it sounded lovely. As Yumi picked a few strawberries near by bush she saw the old man approached them. "Young ladies. The gods had spoken to me. They have a gift for you. Due to their like of you two befriending me, they would reveal themselves to you. Normally gods do not like to show themselves to mortals but you have achieved great honor in being able to see them." Yumi was kind of thinking the old man was playing a joke. Rikari appeared in front of both of them with her long white hair and her red eyes. She wore her long kimono. "Good morning. You might know me as Rikarikami or short Rikari." She said as she smiled. Yumi was in shock at the beautiful goddess appeared in front of her. She knew that the gods where real but to have one appear in front of you was quit a shock. Robyn set the cello against the bench, and bowed to the goddess. "An honour." she said, straightening up. She had absolutely no idea how to react. Then she remembered. She picked up her camera, and took another picture of the garden. Yumi had completely forgot her manners as the camera clicked taking a picture. She then bowed. "Its an honar to meet you Rikari." Yumi straightened up and looked at the lady standing next to her. "Miss?" She said a slight bit embarrassed. "What is your name? Since we're doing introduction."

Shirozen was walking around with Giana when he saw Rikari in front of two female humans. They were both seeming in shock, so he assumed that Rikari must have revealed her self to them. He watched by the strawberry bush near one of human girls (Yumi). Since the bush was big he was a bit of the distance from them and kind of out of the view of Rikari. Giana saw what was going on and walked over to Rikari. "No Giana! Don't do it!" He whispered out, but Giana made her self visible and bleeted at Rikari and the others. The looked at where Shirozen was standing at. The goat appeared in its ginger colored long wool with light purple eyes and horns.

Oh. Good. A human. "I'm Robyn. Robyn Chang." she said to the girl with a smile. She was good with other people. Kind of. She compared the two different pictures on her camera, and frowned. There wasn't much of a difference. It might still work out, though. Her thouhts were interrupted by a bleet, and she looked up to see a small ginger and purple goat. "Are goats supposed to be that color?" she asked, dropping the camera. It smacked against the bench and broke. "God damnit!" she muttered angrily, stooping to pick up the peices. "no, no, no!" she muttered under her breath, piling the bits into a small camera bag.

"Oh you broke your camera! With a little luck it wont be broken. Take a look into the bag now. Your camera should be fine." Rikari said. She had worked her powers without even moving a muscle. She was the goddess of luck and she could reverse small mishaps like these with ease. She had also noticed Shirozens helper appear. "Shirozen, could you go bring our guests some tea." Rikari said and had a warm smile on her face. "Make sure its heated this time." Rikari then sat down by a tree. "Well it is nice meeting you two. Maybe sometime you are eligible to come with me to the realm of the gods."

"I'm Robyn. Robyn Chang." she said to the girl with a smile. Yumi smiled a bit more. "Nice to meet you Robyn. my name is Yumi Mukai." Then out of no where there was a bleet of a goat standing next to her a few feet away, but the goat was an unusual color it had light purple horns and eyes. "Are goats supposed to be that color?" she asked, dropping the camera. It smacked against the bench and broke. "God damnit!" she muttered angrily, stooping to pick up the peices. "no, no, no!" she muttered under her breath, piling the bits into a small camera bag. Yumi was just about to suggest maybe they could fix it, but her thought were cut short. "Oh you broke your camera! With a little luck it wont be broken. Take a look into the bag now. Your camera should be fine." Rikari said. Yumi couldn't believe what she just seen one minute the camera was on the ground the next it wasn't.

Shirozen watched as Giana startled the girl named Robyn. "Giana." He said embarrasedly only to know Rikari would more than likely make a bit of luck to fix it. Shirozen jumped when he heard Rikari spotted him that it made him appeared before them in his god form. She had also noticed Shirozens helper appear. "Shirozen, could you go bring our guests some tea." Rikari said and had a warm smile on her face. "Make sure its heated this time." Rikari then sat down by a tree. "Okay Rikari." Shirozen grumbled in embarrassement since the last time he forgot to heat the tea. "Giana come." The little sheep lightly pattered to Shirozen side it bleeted cheerfully.

Yumi looked at direction where Rikari was talking and a very startled god appeared by name of Shirozen. She noticed that he had dark green hair and light green eyes that matched his horns. He looked a bit embarrassed as he headed to go make tea the goat by his side. Rikari then sat down by a tree. "Well it is nice meeting you two. Maybe sometime you are eligible to come with me to the realm of the gods." Yumi was fascinated by the talk of going to god realm and was very curious. "So whats the 'realm of gods like?" She then sat in front of Rikari under the tree.

Shirozen collected a few fresh leaves from the garden that he would use to make tea as well as sugar cane and few berries to make a fruit tea. He heated up the water on the stove while Giana watched him waiting for a piece of sugar cane. Shirozen took all tea leaves and berries and began to dry them using his magic. He then pulled out a tea pot and put a mini strainer to keep some of the dries leaves out of the tea itself. Shirozen then cut the piece of sugar cane in half then cut it in mini pieces. He then took the mini piece of sugar cane and placed them on a plate as well as the pot of tea on a tray. Shirozen then grabbed some tea cups, and right before he left he used a bit of magic to extract a bit of liquid sugar from the cane. It settled at the top thick like molasses. Shirozen walked back to the group with tea and set it on the ground and sat with everyone. Giana sitting next to him anxiously staring at sugar cane. "I made two teas." He announced kind of shyly and quietly. "A regular well flavored tea and berry flavored tea."

Robyn was staying quiet through most of the exchange, but could not conceal her surprise when the camera was mended. "Oh, I can't thank you enough!" she said thankfully, checking that the images were still there. She sat the camera down on the bench, and looked at her cello. "I'd better put this away." she chuckled to herself, and shut it away into the case, just in time for the god, Shirozen, and his helper to arrive with the teas. She sat down with the others, regarding the setup. It was lovely. It sure as hell beat gritty coffee from the office machine that really needed replaced. Memo to self,. she thought. take days off more often. "Thank you." she said to Shirozen, half wondering how this was possible. She was a lawyer! She lived in the land of hard evidence and a plausible reason for everything! Which was why she hadn't believed so many rumors about the old man. With a harsh thoguht, she cleared her head, and pushed her cello under the bench to prevent it being stepped on. "Let me get this straight. You're Rikarikami, the goddess of..." she searched in her head for the old stories her grandma told her as a child. "Luck?" she asked.

Robyn seemed to be pleased with her camera being fixed. "Oh, I can't thank you enough!" Robyn had said. "Let me get this straight. You're Rikarikami, the goddess of... luck?" "Yes indeed. I am the goddess of luck. I bring good luck and bad luck. It just depends on how you behave." Rikari then said with a smile. She then took a cup of tea from Shirozen and took a sip, then spitting it back out: "Shirozen! Its cold again." Rikari said with a sharp gaze at Rikari that seemed like it would be piercing him. "You keep on forgetting to heat it!"

"Thank you." Robyn said to Shirozen. Shirozen slightly nodded as he was about to sit down. Rikari then took a cup of tea from Shirozen and took a sip, then spitting it back out: "Shirozen! Its cold again." Rikari said with a sharp gaze at Rikari that seemed like it would be piercing him. "You keep on forgetting to heat it!" Shirozen didn't face Rikari he mearly rubbed his ear and took her cup as well as the regular tea that she had pour. He opened the top part of the pot and threw the cold tea to the opposite of the group. "The berry tea is hot." Shirozen said plainly his eyes not focused on anything. "So until I make a fresh batch drink that instead." He said as he walked away. As Shirozen walked away the plants and tree. Usually when Shirozen was any negative emotion plants would become sick or dying. Giana let out snort to Rikari right before she followed Shirozen.

Yumi took the pot with berry tea and poured a steaming cup of it. Right when Shirozen was leaving after Rikari had got after him. She watched as the plants around them as well as the tree became brown. "Don't you think that was a little harsh." Yumi whispered to Rikari, then taking a sip of the berry tea. "Oh my! This is amazing!" She exclaimed as she took another sip.

Robyn carefully hid her cup of tea behind her hand as Shirozen threw away the contents of the teapot and Rikari's cup. She took a cautious sip. "It tastes fine to me." she said to Rikari, shrugging. She sipped at it again. It wasn't that bad at all. It tasted like normal tea, but more refreshing. She took one of the sugar cane peices, and added a droplet to the cup, sipping again at it. She watched Shirozen walk away, the plants seeming to sigh sadly as he passed. "Shirozen. he's the god of plants, right?" she asked Rikari, hiding her smile at Giana's snort with a well timed drink.
