Chalice
Half of the whole, Chalice is the one with the half personality that allows her to empathize with others. She is the one who is mostly controlled, the one whose emotions often get in the way. However, because she and Malice are technically one being split into two, with both of them having exactly half the personality the original would have had, Chalice has gotten the violent, physical part. Not the sharpest tool in the shack, Chalice is usually the one listening to Malice. She is the one who does most of the dirty work. She also got the vain portion, the vivid, full of emotion and easily swayed bit. The naivety that used to belong to the original has gone to Chalice.
Malice
The half with the revenge. The half with the anger and the intelligence. The half that did not get the physical abilities, but instead, got the mental capabilities. Malice knows how to manipulate anybody and anything. She has a photographic memory and the skill to learn anything in a matter of hours. She is insanely curious, always thirsting for more knowledge. But Malice does not know how to deal with others. She does not know what to do in a compromising situation. Malice's one goal in life is to kill. To taste blood and to...feel. That is the part that Malice does not have. She has glimmers of emotions - overflowing, no doubt, from Chalice, but they are not enough to compromise a whole body. Malice goes through life without feeling much. She does not understand happiness or contentedness. Most of what she feels is the need for revenge and...blood-lust.
Skill/Power/Ability
Capable of working as one being, Malice has strings attached to her fingers that she attaches to Chalice. Then able to work from the shadows, the puppet is able to use her puppet counterpart as an attack weapon, all the while hiding in a discreet place. The strings have no end, and they are invisible to those that do not know what to look for.
Chalice, on the other hand, knows how to float and can use fans as weapons. These fans are part of her body. Usually closed up, they slip up her sleeve until she needs them, in which case, they simply slide down into her palms.
In rare moments of synchronization, they can become one.

Malice uses the strings to control Chalice. She has no other methods of defense.
