History:
Anger, pain and rage seethed through him when he saw a Shem. Drawing his daggers he kept inching closer and closer to this human, until he leapt on the mans back and held a dagger to his throat, his breathing heavy. Why did he hesistate? Was it because of the mans apperance? No it was because this human came within Dalish boundaries unarmed. The man didn't react like any normal Shem would've, he didn't scream, didn't cry, he stood there as if he were accepting his fate. Mal jumped off the man and drug him to the Keeper, seeing this man was in Dalish territory it would only be fit, plus he didn't seem like any normal Shem Mal had ever seen before.
That was where the man informed the Keeper of being a Grey Warden, and gave compliments to Mal's traning and skillset. The Warden told informed the Keeper of his mission and that is when the Keeper volunteered Mal's help. He was the youngest and the more "fine tuned to skills needed in the Shem World." Or so the Keeper said. With much protest and a meeting with the Warden, Mal reluctantly left his family and friends behind, only to become what he was told "A hero to the world."
