Cora Ruby Serena

Gender
Female

Age
16

Personality
"Answer denied.... Just kidding!" Call her energetic, aggressive, yet sweet, and you pretty much nailed it. This brown haired girl is quite a hyper ball of fun! She is of course, kind and sweet. But what gets to her most, is arrogance. But although she isn't one to love it, she has a bit herself. She is proud and not afraid to admit it. But she does usually no when enough is enough. But one thing is for sure; she's not a peace keeper. Although she has the innocent and adorable look; don't forget, looks can deceive you. Also, she's quite a bubbly person! Even though she does have a lot of as her friends called it... blond moments. Common sense sometimes escapes her, but she has sharp instincts when necessary.

She is very lovable and kind though, but not when you get on her bad side. And lets just say that is a side you don't want to see. She has a very short and hot temper and isn't afraid to speak her mind, whether it is good, or bad. Is you start her up, there's a slim chance you can cool her down because trust me, this girl can hold a grudge. It takes a lot on her mind to get her to forget. But considering all of the emotional and mental pain she has gone through, that's not hard. Some things she wants to, but can't, forget. And Cora sure does know how to put up a fight. Frankly, she gets a lot of them. Because if she see's anybody being bullied, she will stick up for them. Whether it is a complete and utter stranger or not. But honestly, she's been kicked out of at least 4 schools for fights. And she's not afraid to say that she had won them all. She's definitely a fighter, but she will only fight for what she loves... or who. And she has to say, that what she has been through has made her quite defiant, and pretty emotional. She if you try to take one step in that direction... let's just say you don't want to.

She loves music with a passion. She's amazing at the guitar, piano, drums, and writing music. She has a very wide range of instruments she can play, and she is mostly somebody who plays by ear although she can read music like a pro. And most people recognize that she is also a very talented, and good, singer. Because whenever shes on a walk or just doing something, normally she has a small song or tune slipping from her lips. Most of them, she had written herself. Although you will never forget her eyes, you will never forget her voice either. It's somehow unique and different from the others. No one ever knows if it's the bell like ring to it, or the silky smoothness to it.

She also is in love with sports. Her sport; lacrosse and baseball. Yes, baseball, not softball. You say baseball's too tough? She can't see the difference! And lacrosse? She's a whiz. She's really good at both, and surfing. That is her favorite thing, other than music, to do. Spa or beach? Beach baby! She's not one of those girls who freaks out at the slightest thing like a fly or a broken nail. Her motto? Tough it out. Because you haven't seen the worst of it. Sadly, she has.

Another thing, is her sharp tongue. She's very clever when it comes to arguments and comebacks. Sometimes, she can make the strongest person back down from a single, cunning remark. Her snide comments and sarcasm to people she truly doesn't like can get her into some deep doo-doo though. Example; Her freshman science teachers was a witch. And when she was yelling at the class for the stupidest thing, Cora called out, 'Look who doesn't have to dress up for Halloween?'. Yeah, she got nailed on that one.

Although, her tough and rebellious side shows, she does have some flaws. Well, a lot of flaws. Like her history of course. That's pretty much what made her that way. One chink in her armor is her past. And, she'll tell you if your really close. It can be used against you... Also, Cora does have a soft side. Towards the few she can trust, and the few she loves. She'll stick up for people, and isn't afraid to speak her mind. Like said before, can be either good, or bad.

But, to find out who she really is under all of those layers, well, you will just have to find out.

Cora shot many arrows, some bouncing off the more protected parts of the beast's armor, others penetrating deep into the softer spots. She had swiftly spun and moved out of the way of scorching flames, and it looked like she was dancing, the way she gracefully did it. Then, the dragon seemed to head into town, and she growled, sprinting after it, keeping up with its speeds barely. Cora was fast, that was for sure. And strong. It would take a lot to bring her down.

Meanwhile, she shot more and more arrows. And, seeing as they weren't really doing much damage, Cora tossed the weapon under a bush, and it slid under. She would come back for it later. Then, she saw a dead guard at her feet, and Cora skidded to a halt before she tripped over it. There laid a light, but extremely good sword, and a fireproof shield. The guard must have been killed by the large and deadly strength tail of the dragon. So, she picked up the weapon from the stiff fingers of the guard, and she chased after the dragon, not afraid of getting in dangerously close range of its teeth, claws, and tail. She easily and gracefully jumped rocks, and made her elevation higher and higher until she was close enough to ump on it's back. Then, if she could get up to its head... she could strike.

With Cora's stamina, stealth, and quickness, she could dodge almost any move from the dragon... almost... and she didn't want to find out which ones she couldn't.

(Oh, well, you barely gave anyone else a chance to interact with the dragon -.-')

Cora sighed, and qwas pretty bummed she barely got to help fight a dragon. Sadly, another dragon came and killed it. She wished it came later. So, Cora tossed the sword and sheild to the side and returned to the bush and dug through the wooden and leafy tendrils until she felt her box and then the quiver full of arrows. Then, she headed back to the woods. Well, while she had them., why not do somehting? The 16 year old girl silently made her way deeper and deeper into the woods, her boots making virtually no noise on the forest ground. Cora had a gift of being silent. It was good while hunting. BUt, her movements were quiet, not her outh. She cuold talk all day if she wanted.

Notching an arrow, she heard a rustle in the brush and pointed her arrow at it. If it was a squirel or something, good game. If it was another dragon, then it was an opponent. But, she didn't think it was either. Cora slowly moved forward, emerald green eyes glimmering with the angle of the sun. Nothing seemed to move under her feet, giving her the stealth of a ninja.

Cora
The girl relaxed the tinest bit, and narrowed her eyes, knowing not to trust by first words. But, reluctantly she lowered her bow. "Hi... I'm Cora." she said slowly. Then she gave a small smile and added, "...and you can call me Cora." she then ran a hand through her wavy hair and blinked, looking around. Cora realized that Melody must have sensed the dragon to, because she looked kind of disappointed. SO, Cora snorted, practically reading Mel's thoughts.

"Right? Probably think a couple of girls can't kill a dragon." she said rather frustrated. That is usually how it went.

" hey I'm happy I live to see another day."Melody says "but it would have been nice to get a few swings in, but the boys are so trigger happy that unless I get there first I won't be able to have any fun." she sighs and thinks back to the last seven dragons she killed. She didn't like to kill but if push comes to shove that's what she'll do.

Cora
Cora spun around to face another girl who had just suddenly appeared, introducing herself as Kira. Cora smiled at her suggestion of why they were there. "Hey, I'm Cora." she started and ran a hand through her wavy hair. "Yep. We were hoping to get a few hits in, but nooo..." she said still pretty pissed off. "Some other 'friendly' dragon came and finished the job..." she mumbled. The reason she put so much emphasis on friendly was because, she never could trust a dragon. They were all cruel, cold creatures, usually always going for the kill.

Cora
Cora had silently followed with the rest of them, not really trusting the so called Zane, because first of all, he hadn't fooled her in his little charade of being scared. Then they started saying their birthdays, and Cora arched a neat matching light brown brow. "October 30th..." she said slowly, her musical and soft voice chipping into the conversations. But, frankly, Cora didn't believe the whole demon theory for one minute. Instead, she laughed.

"Oh yeah, we are sooo demons. Cause, you know, I am such a monster." she said and made a face. Then she returned to her normal expression, the breeze coming through the window blowing her hair away from her face.

Then, the 'Zane' kid said that he liked dragons, and acted as if he knows them. And now, he was really suspicious to Cora, and she didn't trust him one bit, so she just came out with it, knowing she would probably shock the others, but she hated being lied to. So, she raised her bow, smoothly notching an arrow, and pointed it at him.

"Okay, enough games. Who are you?" she snapped, authority ringing in her voice.

"And to top that off, I would never, and could never, trust an over sized, bloodthirsty, killing machine, bat." she growled, narrowing her eyes.

Cora
This girl just about popped a vessel when Shadow burnt her string.

Oh, she was definitely going to kill this dude one way or another. Cora's hand curled into a small, but lethal fist, and she said in slow, threatening words.

"Try me you stupid gecko."

Then, he leapt through the portal, and she was so pissed off, she leapt after him, insisting on showing him what she could do. Because, if she could kill a full sized fire breathing monster, and trust me, she has, she could beat up this guy. Dragon or not.

Cora
Well, that wasn't what she thought it would be.

Truthfully, Cora had never even heard of a portal until today, and she was completely unprepared for the impact for when they hit the ground. Cora thought they would simply appear in a different place! Not slam face first into compacted dirt and pebble.s. When she got up, she saw Shadow. But, it was a huge dragon, and she instinctively reached for her bow, which she remembered was burnt. And that sent another wave of rage through her. What really set her off, was when Shadow snatched her with his scaly, claws. And, she smacked it, knowing it would do nothing.

"Put me down!" she said firmly, not screaming, not yelling. Just firm, authoritative words, that usually nobody said no to. SHe just had that effect. Cora blew a stray strand of hair from her emerald eyes and waited, crossing her arms over her chest, and ignoring his apology. She was till going to get him back sooner or later. And she preferred sooner rather than later.

Cpra
Stuck up, eh?

There was a difference between stuck up, and speaking your mind. Yes, she was confident, but stuck up? Not so much. Independent? Yes. A jerk? NO. So, Cora snorted and crossed her arms, sitting there stubbornly, before getting up, and nimbly managing to scale (no pun intended :3) her way down the dragon, and land on her toes in a crouching position from her high leap once she felt she could jump without breaking her ankles or something. The green eyes girl rolled the emerald orbs and spun around on her heel her back facing him, and began to walk back to where they landed.

Then, she looked over her shoulder, and cleverly shot back, "And if you keep being so rude, I'll manage to get an arrow at you. And trust me, I never miss." she said slowly and threateningly. Yeah, that was sorta an exaggeration, but she rarely misses. She had an accurate and very precise aim. And if he doubted her, she would be more than glad to show him what she could do.

(Cora was never surprised... can you please let me control my characters reactions? Thank you. Sorry if I sound rude, but that is one of the things that gets on my nerves... you should know this from the Camp Half Blood roleplay...)

(Well, maybe a typical girl (: but remember, Cora has a different personality than the rest... that's the reason. But I like the way that you are making Shadow think she is all that... truthfully, she is not, but I'm going along with it :3)

Cora
The way that this so called Shadow dragon/kid person gave her a dirty look made Cora want to slap him from here to next week. But, she kept her temper, no matter how hard it was.

Just by his expression, she could tell that he thought she thought (if that makes sense) that she was all that. Yes, she was confident and believed in herself, but no, she didn't think she was cool. She was just... unique. Not afraid of much, and definitely not shy. She is her own little mix. A little mutt.

Anyway, Cora rolled her eyes as he switched forms and brushed dirt and dust off her jeans from the impact when she jumped. The girl awaited the rest of them, not thinking she could stand one more minute around this guy. Somebody would have to hold her back if he made one more snide remark.

Cora
Hearing what Shadow said she rolled her eyes. It wasn't supposed to be an insult, but it wasn't supposed to be funy. Just kind of a... I don't know... a nick name so to say? Cora took a glimpse at the sky. The sun was beginning to set. Where were the others? Maybe they got sent to the wrong place... Or maybe they got hurt... Or maybe... they were just talking. Why take things to the extremes?
