She has a strong sense of duty and is willing to assist those around her with whatever help they need. She is not easily phased and will endure hardships with a smile. Luli Arrenmoore was born to a human mother. Her father had been one of those "catfolk" or "neko" creatures. After hearing about her mother's pregnancy, he split and probably died off somewhere. It did not matter to Luli's mother. That woman pulled up her britches and worked hard to provide for her unborn child. By the time Luli was born, her mother had already had enough money to live off of for the next few years. Regardless of this, her mother continued to work as Luli grew up, never really elaborating on what exactly she did. Not that the girl ever really asked anyways. She was just happy to have a home and food on the table. She had friends to play with and a whole field to explore! Luli was a happy girl for most of her childhood.
Of course, most is not all. When Luli was about to enter into her mage studies, there was an incident that led the enforcers to her home. According to them, her mother was the mastermind behind an illegal drug operation that had taken hold of the area. They ransacked the place looking for evidence which of course they didn't find. Her mother avoided coming home that night, leaving Lulu to clean up after everything. The enforcers started to follow Luli around as well, embarrassing her in front of the whole town. The rumours about her mother had started and eventually Luli stopped speaking to everyone. She turned to her books for salvation from her mother's absence and the townsfolk's merciless bullying.
Years have passed since then, and Luli has focused on her magical abilities. Her mother has been missing since that night, and the girl has made it her mission to find her and set the record straight. She knew her mother couldn't be harming people! It wasn't the person she knew! And maybe, just maybe, Luli would make some friends along the way.
