Dysmas Academy...What a beautiful place; a safe haven and a renowned institute, in many magic circles. Though why is Dysmas so renowned one may ask? It is one of the few academy's that teach and protect those born, holding the gift of magic. You see, these gifted ones have many dangers outside that of the norm...Be that of the monsters that seem to prowl for the taste of their blood, or of ‘those‘, who seems to thirst for powers ’they’ was never given....Though as said before, Dysmas was built for the purpose to protect them from such things...Though, even though they know little of their dangers, they know much of what it is like to be a student, be it the schools rivaling team, of clubs, of class's, of...love...Even if it is often turn from such, to the...unique, but without so, it would not be Dysmas academy. Now what is to happen in our little tale? What is around every corner? We will just have to wait and see, as our little tale of magic, of mystery, unfolds before us....

Setting
-----------------

This is set in a magic realm called Olashia. It is a separate realm from the one we live in today, which is called the mortal or human realm, but both are in the modern time. Olashia is filled with diverse, magical, and mythical creatures of all shapes and forms. Everything from the spirited Fae, and fairies to the Drakes and dragon. From Nekos, Inus, Okamis, and Kitsumes, to Aquerias, and mer-people, every creature of legend and fairy tales, even dark creatures such as Demons and fallen angels and the light one such as Angels and others of there kind. Diverse races strewn about the land. A land full of magic, who’s technology is powered my the organic magic molecules in the atmosphere, while now a days the study of non organic molecules have come far, close to replacing organic, but the organic being a renewable source makes this study somewhat redundant.

What school looks like is at the top.

Ballroom, Library, Pond on grounds, Bridge over river on grounds, Large tree on grounds, some of the flowers in the Garden, Garden Maze, Lake in forest, Waterfall in forest, A little path in forest

The Dorms are co-ed. Each person has their own room, but they have to share a bathroom with someone of the opposite sex. Also the dorms have, two dorm advisors one male and one female, and the dorm has a common room, or entertainment room, is another thing to call it. The magic realm does have TV, stereos, I-pods. and such, since they do have forms of technology but they are run off a different power source, magic photons, a renewable source of energy.}
The teacher live in a different dorm building of sorts that's on the opposite side of the campus. The only teachers that live in the dorms are two; one male and one female who keep an eye on the students.

The Schools rules.
-----------------

-No student is allowed outside of campus unless accompanied by a faculty member, or has special permission.

-No student is allowed to carry weapons on campus. Only in the Arena and in Fighting and Survival class. Article 4:9 of weaponry rule The rule may be overlooked if the student has the written permission of Headmaster or Assistant Headmistress{assistant Head master?}

-No student will use their magic in malice intentions, that will result in serious injury or death, against another student, staff, or citizen. Article 1:8 of Summon rule Though serious injury may be unavoidable by accidental cause during ones survival and fighting studies, but one must be sure to fallow prosedure and report to nearest professor or other staff of such incident. If failure to do so the fact of acedintal serious harm will be seen as malice by rules

-Students are fully responsible for any summons they summon. If said summon kills, or severely harms any student or staff member, the summon-e is held fully responsible for summons actions if they performed said summon outside of their summoning class period. If within the responsibility is split amongst student and professor.{Though it’s rarely fare.} Article 3:6 of Summon rule This rule may be over looked or lightened if said harm done to student or staff was in reasonable self defense

-No Student is allowed out of the dorms after dark unless accompanied by a Professor or Dorm adviser. This includes the night class attendees.{Got to be careful out there. ;) Piece of advice don’t wander too close to the edge of the campus alone.}

-No students of the opposite sex is allowed in one another dorm room after 9:30 PM.[i]{Watch out for the dorm advisers and the occasional Professor, boys and girls~ ;)}

{Those are the only differences then any other rule a school is, but hey I doubt anyone is going to fallow these. Just trying to add more detail! You guys see anything else to add? Any ideas for the Magic realm laws?}

The schedule is broken into an A and B, schedule. Like one day the have a set of six class then the next another set of six then it repeats A the next day, then B. I think you get what I mean.

Little on magic.
-----------------

Any magic, non natural or Blood, if any magic contently used for more then two or three hours on end can seriously harm or make a user sick. This is why every teacher, every authority stresses that a user must rest periodically. The negative particles slowly build in the blood, or lungs like a poison or virus after too much use, this is a common occurrence that bed rest and disuse of magic for a few days will help flush the particles out of the system as are a few median that can decrease symptoms and make it more manageable. this can be given by the schools doctor and nurse.

Non natural magic: This magic is used by people not born with magic, they need magic channel, an object to pull the particular elemental magic particles in the air and channel them in a similar way that a being born with it. Though when it comes to the arts of healing, Necromancy, and Summoning this is also in reference to it since through out history people have needed a channel to more commonly use it, that is until the dark and light elemental studies show results of which elemental attributes each derived from.

Blood Magic.

First of all a list of the Magic Elements and short of the areas it covers.

Fire:
Fire is of course flame creation and manipulation but also with a deal of mastery, explosions and just simply a manipulation of an objects temperature. Can be very unpredictable at times. Though this magic can’t be cause is extremely damp areas.

Wind:
Is wind manipulation, but also with a deal of mastery the creation and control of lightning. This can’t be use in areas where even a small breeze can’t even blow.

Earth:
The manipulation of all products of the Earth. The dirt, the rocks and the greenery. The Dirt and Rock portion can be useless or {in rocks case} extremely weaken. This Greenery portion is completely useless in barren land, like a desert or Antarctica.

Ice/Water:
It is more oftenly used in it's Ice form since it is often thought to be more effective since Ice is the sold form of water but the water is easier to manipulate, but to use it to it’s full effectiveness takes a good deal of practice. It is useless in areas devoid of moister.

Shadows/Darkness:
It is seen as manipulating shadows, but also in it’s greatest mastery it can be used to cause illusions that can drive a weak minded being close to the point of madness in a cloak of darkness and crush in a gravitational pressure in a dome of shadows. It is one of the hardest to master right next to it’s foil element, light. It is useless in when there is little shadows or darkness to use.

Light:
It is often more of an element that uses the photons to heal, and cause illusions. But also it at is mastery can cause a sharp manipulation and at times shock. It is useless without a great deal of focus and complete inky darkness.

A Sub-Genera of Magic/non natural

Summoning:
This is as the name implies the ability to summon these creatures from another realm, but a summon can only be used if their is a pact between it and summoner, and a summon, object of sorts to symbolize the connection and use to call upon the Summon.{Be it a book, a jewel, a piece of Jewelry, ect.} Each person in their life can ever have two summons and each summon has it’s own elemental attributes. A summon can’t be used if the summoner doesn't have the summon object.

Necromancy
The use of ones blood magic to manipulate corpse's, to control low minded demons to an extent.{Like ghouls and goblins} and at one of it’s higher levels to temporarily call on the spirits of the dead. Many are still trying to find if the use of necromancy can truly bring one back to life from the after life. It is very dangerous to use for more then an hour and a half at a time and to use it repeatedly without at lest a four to five hour intervals for ones magic to replenish since if miss used it can tap into ones life, and can even take a few years off ones life if it doesn’t kill them to start with. {Their might be objects to lessen the magic strain on the user but non have yet to be discovered.}

Healing
To use the photon partials pulled from a given areas magic particles. {their like atoms in the environments of Olashian, but there are a limited amount in an areas atmosphere alone. One can also tap into their own magic particles in their body to use healing magic, it is about the same in risk as necromancy, but the resting time needed in-between is shorter only needing two to two and half hours usually, but also the safe amount of time to use it by using your own energy is also shorter, recommending at most only half an hour before it causes harm. If the particles are all used up in an area then this magic can’t be used until the environment repairs and replenish it self. {Depend of environment it can be anywhere from a day to a good two weeks.}{Also ones own skill and particle amount also varies the time and recovery, along with effect.} At it’s lowest in can heal minor scrapes and cuts. At it’s highest level in can repair dismembered or missing limbs, or heal massive internal injures.

-Romance is strongly encouraged, but lets all remember site rules. {We all know not to cyber, I believe the most that is aloud in that little area is only one person post a vague thing of it. BUT I personally prefer the whole black out thing before things get too heated. } it's fine to be perverted, 'cause, come on, teenagers/young adults/people! We all know how we/they are and I'm sure we are all mature enough to know when we are crossing the line.

-Violence and cussing are allowed, also, since I know some get very uncomfortable just mentioning blood, but here's a stand out, warning their might be some gore, but lets all be a little careful about that, some of us have a weak stomach.

-Be semi Literate or Literate! Don't text talk, in IC. Use decent grammar. Write third person, first is only allowed in dreams if you choose to use it. Also try to write a bit more then a paragraph, it's much
-I,IceFoxJess, and my Co-GM, ShatteredMind , word is law here. We will try our best not to abuse this right but, if we tell you to fix something please do so.

-In relationships lets try being a little realistic. Just because someone's crushing on someone else doesn't necessarily mean their going to end up together. Let their be love triangles, arguments, friendships, and so on. It’ll get too boring if two people just focus on their characters romance and never have them trying to make friends, never having fights and arguments with others. {Come on I’m sure we know when character insult each other no one is attacking you, it’s just makes for an interesting RP

Yeena sighed as a book floated in front of her, the past days were really harsh to her and most of the teachers in the academy. As usual with every new scholar year the movements of students entering the school and those leaving to Rihiss, or any town, as they studies were finished. If this wasn´t enough to stress anyone this year had a new situation that few would forget, the principal gave the shortest welcome speech in the history of the academy and then practically ran away in hurry.

A week after that event in the opening of the new school year the school was again in a normal flow... or it would be better to say almost. Most of the teachers answered the call of the principal apparently to help in something, with the lack of scholars the vice principal practically multiplied trying to keep the school in it´s base until the return of the principal and meant more work for the secretary and for Yeena as they spend more of their time in the principal´s office.

Now Yeena was hoping that the students were finally ready to start the study as they were supposed. Slowly she turned and started to walk in the huge garden followed by the floating book as she tried to remember what class was supposed to give that day, oh well the students would tell her... if not she could always ask the secretary what was she supposed to teach.

The sound of the bells announcing the classes made Yeena grin a little and muttered "Run run younglings the knowledge is waiting you, run to the school instead of of leaving it."

Heh no problem :P.

Now to the second part of the "let me point" post, that I should have wrote in the last one... , ok then as you can see the map it´s floating in the... "nothing" , aheem another change there Olashia is sorrounded by water , but please do not think of it as the sea just water (explanation incoming in the rp, but really later.)

And of course distances, as close as appeared to be they are apart of each other by days or even weeks.

Finally I was able to send my chara... first I passed the time limit and logout without copying the text, then I pressed reset instead of send. Ok bad memories go away, time to think in more positive thinks, let me start pointing some things that I wasn´t able to mark in the map (problems in the program I used...)

Dysmas is the academy that is next to Rihiss city, the others Academies have their name hidden until the time comes. Now I know the map only shows the weakly made positions of the towns, ruins and academies, but please imagine that the world is covered by forest in some places. XD
