{ LIKES }
Quinn is a fan of strategic games that take time and effort, like chess, as well as card games involving bluffing and fooling others.

{ DISLIKES }
Quinn hates the idea of needless violence. He is capable of hurting someone who is doing the wrong thing, but the thought of adding pain and punishment to someone who has learned their lesson just disgusts him. He also hates overt heroics, as he believes that he will no longer be able to save people or achieve his goals if he dies during a needless heroic act.

{ FEARS }
Quinn is afraid of public transportation, believing they are death traps ready to happen. He also fears doctors and animals believe that Shadow organizations have worked their influence to test their secret drugs on the american population.

Image
Image
{ PERSONALITY }
Quinn suffers from slight megalomania, as well as a side of paranoid delusions from time to time. He works hard to improve himself, believing that at any moment in his life, trouble will find him. He usually only has only a few occasions let his guard down and to actually relax. But on the special occasions when Quinn is finally allowed to let loose, forget about any worries he had and just enjoy himself for a night, he did it indeed, and he did it with style. In fact, He and his clones were like party animals and threw one killer party that many people enjoyed. Any that is why Quinn lives with the motto of: Work hard. Play hard.

{ HISTORY }
Quinn's history wasn't too bad as stories go. His parents were kind and loving, but the father had a gambling problem. When Quinn's power started to manifest he was old enough to get a couple jobs and help out his parents. The the father's gambling had calmed down they had a loan that needed to be paid off. Quinn realized the potential of his replicating ability when he found that his belongers were also replicated.At the age of 20 with several jobs and the ability to save up money Quinn's parents had gone on a World Wide adventure. This had two purposes. One being his parents deserved a good life after fighting off the debts and loans due to father. Secondly, Quinn realized that he could get unwanted attention and get in trouble should someone have a problem with any of the number of things he was doing. He started to apply himself in areas that would allow him to hide his ability, hide the amount of funds he was accruing, and protect him from the many possible threats. He studied law, learned martial arts, got a part time job being a bartender at night, a fulltime job as a locksmith during the day, as well as a commision job as a programmer specializing in web security as well as being hired to test securities by attacking them.

Image
Image
{ POWER }
Kinetic Replication: The ability to use the effects of motion and force to replicate oneself. One with this ability simply moves fast enough, or gets hit by non-lethal force, and the kinetic energy from the momentum creates a cast of the user. The user then psionically solidifies and animates the cast, so they can move of their own volition. Sometimes this replication can be induced by any extreme impact (so replicates are literally knocked out of the root body), or by the snap of a finger, the stamp of a foot, etc. Can reabsorb the clones and gain the experience that they earned as if he had done it himself.
Current Max: Five.

{ STRENGTHS }
Quinn is Determined and hard working. Due to his Paranoia Quinn has become quite a strategic thinker. He plans for contingencies and has devised plans for many different threats. He is physically great shape. He focused his body on speed and manueverability. He has studied Bujikan (ninjutsu) as well as parkour and freerunning.

{ WEAKNESSES }
He has trouble trusting others, and his power allows him to cope with it by being able to converse with any of his clones, but it only reinforces that he can only trust himself. He has trouble believing what others tell him as well as trusting people with important tasks.

So begins...

Shadow Isle Federal Penitentiary. Built upon an island off the coast of New York City, it had been created to house the extremely dangerous criminals, insane lunatics and genetically-enhanced mutants that had been unlucky enough to be captured by their Government. This prison was created as an answer to the US’ criminal problems, and was highly regarded as the safest and highly-protected prison in the entire world.

But nothing is safe for ever.

In the dead of the night Police helicopters and speedboats rapidly approached the Shadow Isle, cloaked in midnight darkness. The helicopter searchlights led the way towards the Penitentiary, where smoke rose into the sky from multiple places. The Police were closely flanked by multiple media helicopters owned by different news stations, who were eager to get their hands on a nice, juicy story to fill the ears of their beloved audience with..

But the Police Boats and Helicopters were only carrying the reinforcements, as already on the beach and landing pads were multiple S.W.AT. Teams and American Special Forces units, who were talking to their superiors and team leaders through different radio channels, barking orders at one another and trying to organize a plan while the whole Island went to hell.

The entire Island had erupted into uncontrollable chaos. Fire raged from every window, screams, shouts and laughter burst from every open orifice and multiple explosions had been set off throughout the night. Prisoners had escaped through breaches in the walls and attacked the police officers down on at the beach, causing more injuries to the attacking force. From what the media helicopters can gather from their position, a fair number of inmates, police officers and prison guards had already been killed by multiple things, but all of them killed maliciously and with a clear, cold-blooded intent.

The media helicopters, not wanting to give up despite the obvious danger below them, circled around the Island once more, showing better, more convincing angles with their cameras for the viewers watching at home, who were watching with anxiety and bated breath. This horrific event had caught the eye of the whole nation, and no-one knew what they could do to help. The cameras also show the extensive damage caused by the prisoners and, perhaps, the men or man that had broken into the prison. There are multiple broken walls and windows on the ground floor, as well as more on each floor, as well as lots of fallen debris and wiring coming out of gaping holes.

The whole of Shadow Isle is wrecked, dangerous and too risky to survey.

Back in the air, one media helicopter, hoping for a brilliant picture for their viewers at home, dropped its altitude and hovered too far down into one of the courtyards of the prison, and soon caught the eye of the inmates. The helicopter was then assaulted with bricks, bottles and broken glass, whatever the criminals can get their hands on basically, in an attempt to bring down the helicopter and cause more chaos. The pilot of the vehicle struggled to maintain control of his bird, and the helicopter began to lose altitude and crash towards the ground. The camera team, some of whom had already been seriously injured by the debris thrown at them, threw themselves from the vehicle as crashed down into the shallow water near the beach, most of the being killed from the impact, their bodies strewn around the wreckage in a horrific manner.

Police scrambled to the scene, hoping to rescue the men from the wreckage and the news reporter that was in there as well, but were unable to do so once the wreckage caught fire, leaving the squad of officers to back away as it erupted into flames. The other media helicopters, seeing this disastrous event, began to pull out from the scene, and began to simply commentate on what was happening from a safe distance.

On a particular helicopter that was heading to the one of the prison’s few free landing pads was Commissioner Alan Norman, the Chief of Police at the NYPD. The man was desperately communicating with various S.W.A.T. and Special Forces team leaders to try and maintain a calm situation and transmit orders to them, although some of his orders seemed to be lost in translation and forgotten over the loud explosions and shouting.

A perimeter was already set up around the prison on multiple floors, with S.W.A.T. teams ready to breach the doors and enter the buildings in an attempt to save injured inmates and contain the uncontrollable and mutated ones. Norman stepped off the helicopter in a rush, his trench-coat blowing in the breeze and the wind caused by the helicopter’s rotor blades, and looked around the scene. The reinforcement helicopters he had brought with him were now in position, and with his word, began to rappel more Special Forces teams into the prison, whilst S.W.A.T. burst through the doors and began to clear the buildings room by room.

This was a defining moment in America’s history for years to come, the moment where the world first saw those that would become…

Before anything was going wrong at the penitentiary, Veil had worked her magic once again and was having a nice texting conversation with an inmate known as "O". He was an old man with a jolly spirit. His power was something that made him dangerous but also allowed him to save lives. Sadly though he had a history prior to gaining his powers. He was the Right Hand in one of the largest Biker gangs in America. He had retired before the abilities manifested but due to his excitement as well as inexperience with the ability led him accidentally yet severely injure a group of men that were trying to make a name for themselves. Sadly two of them died and when it was discovered that he had an ability as well as prior convictions they didn't ask any questions and sent him to the prison.

He had little to work due to his prestigious position, his bear like size and strength, as well as his ability. Prisoners and Guards gave showed him respect and those that didn't wound up in the prison hospital on the verge of death, but due to his new found control none have yet to die.

Veil had broken into the Prison's mainframe and started to make it yet another home for her codes. She had always been fascinated by others like her. Her power was almost a personification of her life. She hacked further and deeper until she had access to all the security cameras and prison doors She could easily let them or make sure they stayed in forever, but before she decided to do such a thing she began reading up on every prisoner tht was being held ,as well digging into all their pasts, at the same time. She started making a check list of those she found interesting and those she didn't. She didn't like those tht hurt people for fun and it was during this search that she found "O". A 54 year old man. Divorced twice with five kids total ranging from 21 -30. None apparently showed signs of abilities. His ability was that of manipulating Air itself.

It was minutes before everything went to hell. O was telling Veil about his amateur surfing career when one of Veil's Security AIs notified her that there was an anomaly and a few cameras had been tampered with.

"O, " Veil interrupted. "Is there anything going on there, I being told that cameras are starting to go down in certain areas. Is there anything that's off?"

"Well now that you mention it. The guard shifts are a little awkward tonight. They seem to be running behind schedule or something."

"O, I have to look things up real quick." Veil stated as her AI's sent shortcuts to the camera feeds of where past schedules had changed. Her AI's did good work. She was rather pleased with her creations she usually typed for aesthetic reasons but since he ws in a hurry she simply focused on the three custom made laptops in front of her and entered her commands mentally and all three were running at top speeds where even some of the best hackers would have trouble following. "O you need to get o-," she started to explain, just as the explosion occurred. She was surprised but not initially worried about O's safety because her brain told her he was not near the explosion and the fact that the phone was still on, meant he was alright. There was a sound coming from the other side of the phone.

She wasted no time and started sending "Helps" out to certain "heroes" that she had found in her daily searches that have been going on for years. [Rawhide, Paper Angel, Mach (who was almost there), MultiDude, Norman Dixon, Josiah Armstrong]

Hopefull this would give them a head start.

"Looks like I have early parole," he said with chuckle as the locking mechanism slide back as O continued to increase the air pressure while keeping it small and when the time was right he released it with a small explosion while he hid behind a concentrated wall of air that deflect incoming debris away from him.

"Where to, Miss Veil" O asked. Veil was not only keeping an eye on O but most of the prison populace. There was more going on inside the prison and Veil noticed one of guards were helping prisoners out.

'Thank gawd,' she thought to herself. She was searching the court yard seeing many fleeing. It was then that figure was found killing prisoners with little remorse and excess efficiency.

"O there is somebody dangerous out in the courtyard. He is killing every prisoner that comes close to him. I think you should avoid him. He is heavily armed and very skilled. Turn left and i'll guide you through a back way."

O turned right and went down the stair as he headed towards the courtyard. "Sorry, Miss Veil, but I can't runaway when people are dying. I have seen too much and cared too little in my past. Don't worry though. Big O is no pushover. I've dealt with all sorts of people. You'd be surprised by the number of martial artists and military punks i've laid out in my youth."

Veil continued to follow his route and after 3 minutes of failing to convince him she helped him by telling about blocked passages.

O stopped in the courtyard seeing the figure of man standing in the center of corpses. "Bye Miss Veil. I will do what i can, but please know that you were a blessing for this old man in these last few weeks. Even though i never understood that computer mumbo jumbo you talked about often." And before Veil could protest again O hung up the phone, dropped it and stepped on it.

Veil watched as O approached the man. O was easily a foot taller than the man. While watching Veil started to try to get as much information on the unknown man as possible while she and her AI's tried to assist as many people way from that killer as possible.

"Hey there, kiddo," O said now within 5 meters from the man standing before him. "Let's make this quick. I have a phone call to get back to." And with that he removed most of the air in the area making it harder for a normal person to breathe as if they were in the thin air Himalayas. He took his old boxing stance and started to weave slightly as he inched closer to the man and he continued to build up air around his fist and prepared to release another explosion against the man's chest.

With a practiced distance met, O dashed in with his fist flying for the man's chest.

'May it end with this.' he thought

"Man, oh man," said [MultiDude]. "Are you sure you know how to fly this?" He was in the back a small helicopter flying low from a blindspot in the news feeds. It was all thanks to [Veil] really. she had hacked himself into the police database and made him a cop and procured him a swat uniform. Looked at the four other me S.W.A.T members in front of him and smiled behind his bullet proof mask. He was synced with his doubles as their thoughts passed to one another.

"Veil, you see me?" [MultiDude] asked as dude1, dude2, dude3, and dude4 stepped out of the helicopter and moved quickly away from the spinning blades. The moved smoothly covering most of their blind spots and as their minds were linked it gave them all a nearly perfect 360 vision.

"Yeah I see you, Dudes." came [Veil]'s reply over the earpieces. "I'm keeping track of what's going on everywhere, it is a war zone, man. There is some psycho that actually broke in and seems to be killing the prisoners and despite not using any powers, he is killing them -" [Veil[ paused momentarily as she thought of O. "-rather easily." She spoke while watching as the killer was engaging a man who she identified as [Josiah]. Once more it was skill vs power, but he was doing better than O had. "There are two mention-able hot spots at the moment. The infiltrator is fighting against a power user that has also entered the prison from outside. I want you to support him. While there is another fight ensuing against two speedsters."

Right on cue [Veil]'s AIs brought up images of both [Mach] and the other was [Thunder].

"I'm currently tracking others entering the prison and am attempting to get word to them so they could keep we can keep too many prisoners from leaking out and you need to assist them as well as keep the escapees from getting out and getting hurt."

"Such a slave driver, like always, V" [MultiDude] said and dudes 1-4 chuckled. Each one lifted their face plates as [MultiDude] saw four faces that looked exactly like his own and each gave them a lucky stick of gum and watched as the faces disappeared behind the bulletproof visors and they hustled over to the courtyard first. [MultiDude] asked [Veil] about the ability user's power and made his way over as she explained.

[Veil] watched as [MultiDudes] moved along the wall toward the courtyard. They had come up with a plan after [Veil] caught word over the police radio of an encounter with [Josiah]before he entered the prison.

"You are going to go 5 meters forward until you see a crack in the wall and continue to make hard right," [Veil] explained where they had to go. [Veil] and [MultiDude] had worked together many times. They had a system that worked. She was thankful for his talents as well as his 'ability' which complimented her own quite well. "Alright then, you will be coming up to the open courtyard. Then proceed as planned."

"Yes, your majesty," came five similar voices over the com link. She might have think about finding someone else to partner up with she couldn't help but smirk as part of her mind focused on the courtyard.

In less than fives seconds [MultiDudes] opened fire on both men. According to [Veil] the good [Josiah] could take bullets so there was no need to hold back.

"Quite nice not having to worry about friendly fire isn't, guys?" asked [MultiDude].
"Definitely, Sorry about this man!" answered Dude1 before he shouted out to [Josiah].
"It is at least a good thing we have good aim, otherwise we probably wouldn't be helping at all". And with tht they fanned out 2 on the left and 3 on the right as they tried to get the other man in their crosshairs. timing their firing and reloading a normal person couldn't get a shot in especially while fighting a life and death situation.

[Veil] watched as ability users kept appearing left right and center. She was watching as a young man apeared from the shadows of a cell block not wearing prison clothes [Babylon] as well as two individuals that teleported into a vacant hallways. One male [Warlock] and one female [Sorceress].

In the next moment a prison next to the pair started ringing and at the same time a walking hissed and crackled next to [Babylon]. While waiting for one of the two to answer the phone [Veil] began to talk to [Babylon]

"Pssst, over here. pick up the walkie talky." [Veil] whispered over the line. She had no idea wht this person was capable of but he was in a bad part of the prison and if he turned out to be good then she had to help him stay safe.

She waited for replies as she kept an eye on [Mach]and [Thunder]while following [Black Midas] via cameras. She tried not make to obvious that they were being controlled so she made them swivel slightly back and forth from time to time. She looked up his file and new he was bad news and had to get these guys to keep possible victims away as well as keep them informed of his whereabouts. It was [Rawhide] that appeared to be the hardest to predict since he seemed to not have a worry for his own safety or the safety of others. [Veil] attempted to contact [Rawhide] by hacking the police com-link and find his headset.

"Hello, Mr Samson," she greeted him as a camera focused on him from the end of the hallway.

Just as he expected to collide with the man's jaw, he jumped out of the way, evading the attack with a surprising amount of speed. "Shit!" When the punch didn't connect, the energy that was put forth retreated back into his being, causing him to wince in pain as his fingers twitched, though it would've appeared to Agent 16 that he did so because of the chop he delivered to his throat. Instead of the flesh of his throat, the man would've experienced a feeling more similar to chopping into a thin dense barrier.

Before he could gain his footing, the man spun around, gripping his arm and twisting it tight to his back. A grunt escaped Josiah's mouth as the man yanked his head back by his hair. The two locked eyes for a brief moment before the man spoke. His eyes looked like doors that lead nowhere, deep and dark, with no trace of human emotion, while his own eyes were filled with anger, and rage. As he went on about restoring America and sealing one's fate, a man approached, along with several others who looked identical to the first, surrounding the two of them, guns raised.

One of them shouted an apology, and then all of them opened fire. The next few moments involved the man pivoting himself to keep Josiah in the line of fire, obviously in an effort to shield his own self from harm. Perfect. With each bullet impact Josiah could feel the power flooding into his body, like a shot of pure adrenaline coursing through his veins.

The last few rounds of the first clip clattered to the ground, and the identical men began reloading. Now was his chance. " My fate is dictated by a much higher power than some meched out murderer. Can the tough guy routine for someone who doesn't know any better!"

He threw his head back suddenly, channeling the force of the bullets, giving his headbutt the impact of a speeding bus, in an attempt to either collide with the man, or, if he was smart, give him no choice but to let go and evade. He wouldn't be caught off guard like that again, now he knew he was messing with someone a bit above just some street punk with a bad attitude.

"Shit!"

Agent 16 remembered that was what the man had said when he missed the punch, before he connected with the rest of his moves and disabled the man to the best of his ability. He was going to end it all, he was going to end the man's life with a simple gunshot to the back of the head, like he had done to so many others.

He was an empowered man, whether or not he was fighting on the side of good or the side of bad, he was still Agent 16's target and that meant he had to die, and every time he had been tasked to kill someone, Agent 16 had killed them every time. But this time he had failed in his attempts of doing so, this time something was different to him.

This time, someone had gotten in Agent 16's way.

It wasn't someone, however, but several men all dressed in the uniform of a S.W.A.T. squad, which left 16 confused. He was sure that the Government had made S.W.A.T. clear the beaches for escaping criminals before they were ordered to enter the complex. He was sure that, from his calculations, S.W.A.T. were never that quick to clear an area, especially an area as big as Shadow Isle's shorelines. So, from Agent 16's calculations, these men were independent benefactors posing to be a S.W.A.T. team, most likely either vigilantes hoping to score a big kill on a wanted criminal and earn themselves glory, or a group of criminals that had just murdered a group of S.W.A.T.

Whoever these men were, they had just made a big mistake, and had made a very powerful and threatening enemy.

Within a few moments, the men's guns were raised and they began to open fire on the pair. To defend himself from the bullets, his natural reflexes made him release the man's arm and grab him around the neck, before pivoting himself around and making all the bullets hit the man. As he watched his assailants fan out, he noticed that all of the men stood the exact same way. Their feet were the same lengths apart, their backs were hunched and they held their gun the exact same way. He figured out that one of those men was superhuman, and the rest were clones of his body.

Another thing that confused Agent 16 was that, despite all the bullets hitting the man's chest, they seemed to ricochet off of his chest and hit the floor like they hit a multi-layered wall. He didn't know why this wasn't working, but he didn't want to let go of the man, so Agent 16 simply hoped for the best and continued to block the bullets.

As the men began reloading, Agent 16 saw his chance and went to grab his M4A1, but was stopped when his hostage opened his mouth.
" My fate is dictated by a much higher power than some meched out murderer. Can the tough guy routine for someone who doesn't know any better!"
Suddenly, the man threw his head back and caught 16 right on the nose, disgruntling and startling the assassin. That wasn't a normal headbutt, especially from someone of his body build, and so he took that as another power of the man. He simply threw himself to his feet and pulled his M4A1 automatic carbine from it's holster, before firing towards two of the men dressed as S.W.A.T, hitting a few good shots in their arms and neck, before focusing the rest of his available bullets at his former hostage.

"The names Veil," [Veil] responded. "I am glad but we don't have time to wait for you to listen to me. There are a large number of inmates beating and torturing a group of prisoner guards in the cafeteria. You need to know that their is a young man among he inmates as well as a male and female pair that are also here to help. So please exercise caution." [Veil] proceeded to guide [Rawhide] to the cafeteria as she described how the others looked.

There were a few bumps along the way but thanks to [Rawhide]'s reflexes with plenty of warning there was little time wasted and minimum damage done to the convicts. But just enough to keep them down for a few hours.

They finally arrived at the cafeteria and [Veil] had finished telling him the location of everyone in there, as well as explaining that she was going to distract them away from the door but using the radio and shorting out the lights to create an opening for [Rawhide] to slip in and music which would disorient.

"Oh, and by the way." She started to emphasize. "I put on your favorite song right as you enter. Good luck"

Dude 2 was dead before he hit the ground. Each [MultiDude] seemed to be be in slight pain as they each dove for cover. To nurse an invisible pain round their neck. but Dude 4 was in actual pain and had more to deal with as he checked the leg and was relieved to see the bullets had gone straight through. The problem was stopping the bleeding, but soon [Multitude] was kneeling right next to his double and without saying a word the double seemed to instantly be absorbed with a single touch. A slight but tolerable pain flared in his leg, the same place the bullet had hit Dude 4. The other doubles had recovered from the death of Dude 2 and had continued to shoot from covered positions.

With a bit of concentration and forced relaxation [MultiDude] snapped his fingers and suddenly new Double was made with the slight scarring onthe leg as if a bullet had passed through. [MultiDudes] didn't have a lot of major scars due to their ability to split the damage upon merging back together. In short personal instant psuedo-healing. The newly freshed Dude "4.1" got up and soon they both joined the others firing.

"How are we doing," [MultiDude] asked the Dudes 1 & 3.

"Well," started Dude 1. "Our ally isn't dead, but nor is the enemy. Sooooo -"
"We are thinking we MIGHT have the advantage" added Dude 3.

"How are things going, V?" asked [MultiDude].

"I've gotten in contact with a few allies, and hopefully the others as well soon. But it is quite busy everywhere. About ninety-five percent of the inmates have been either killed or captured so far. It is the last five percent that are being a bit smarter than the average convict. It would help if you wrapped that up all of you moved to help the others in need." [Veil] said with a matter fact tone to her voice. [MultiDudes] chuckled and shook their heads. They were used to her way of talking and thinking. They usually called her, away from her and cameras, a ScreenWriter or Producer. She looked at everything through a screen or from a distance if she had it projecting images into her head. Her mindset made it difficult to relate to situations that others are face. She was more of a strategist than a warrior.

"Sure thing," [MultiDude] replied. In the next minute they all unhooked something from their vests and with a slight tug and click.

"FIRE IN HOLE" they shouted and with their combined vision they accurately threw 4 grenades passed their allie and closer to the armed enemy. "Sorry Buddy!" they yelled before taking cover.

Image

[Veil] watched as the fighting continued but also was worried about the man known as [Black Midas] who had now killed and was using a hostage to escape prying eyes. She quickly called forth blue prints trying to figure out where the doctor was taking him. If [Veil] couldn't get anyone there this man just might escape.

Another scene that was quite unpredictable was the one between the two speedsters. The both seemed to have good heads on their shouders, so to speak, but a strange charisma. One [Mach] was lighthearted and determined and the other [Thunder] was just as determined and confident, though it might be close to arrogance, but with the right people, these two made quite good leaders. They were rather inspirational from a 3rd party objective perspective.

Either way she was going to send backup to make sure the right conclusion plays out. She thought all this while her toes wiggled in her Buuv slippers.

The headbutt seemed to do the trick, for he was released from the man's grip. He quickly spun to face him, giving little thought to the outcome of the identical men. Before he could take even a step forth, the man had drawn a weapon, and fired on two of the identical men, and by the time he took his first step, his barrel was trained on him.

He welcomed each round as they smacked into his skin, leaving not even so much as an imprint before tumbling to the ground at his feet. This gun packed more of a punch, he could feel it juicing through his body, filling his limbs with vigor. The man began to reload, and just when he thought he was going to make an attempt on him, the identical men shouted, "FIRE IN THE HOLE!"

4 hand grenades were lobbed into his view, landing in the gap between him and the man. "Oh hell yeah!" He shouted, before springing forth, this time with much more speed and force, enough to leave two small holes in the concrete where he once stood, toward the man.

He collided with the explosion of the grenades, it washed over him, he could feel the heat, but only for a split second, for every bit of force absorbed from the explosion was channeled immediately into pushing his body faster toward his target, his arm held out wide in an attempt to clothesline him.

Agent 16 fired multiple shots from his M4A1, one of them catching a member of the S.W.A.T. team in the neck. Agent 16 watched as the man crumpled to the ground, lifeless, almost immediately. But what came next was the point that proved Agent 16's suggestions to be true, as the other members of the S.W.A.T. team held their necks in extreme pain, exactly in the same place where 16 had shot the other one before.

They all then dove for cover and seemed to care for their injured necks, albeit that there was no wound on them. By the time that they had nursed their wounds, however, Agent 16 had turned his attention to his nearby opponent, the one who had nearly broken his nose moments before. Agent 16 had turned his carbine rifle towards his other opponent and began to fire as many bullets as he could onto the man's chest.

But things were NOT going as Agent 16 had planned them to go.

He was definitely fighting empowered humans, as the bullets he fired at the man simply bounced off of his chest, the impact and the kinetic energy being absorbed into the man's skin. He had unloaded an entire magazine onto the man's chest, to no avail, and so took the time to reload, shuffling back to keep a fair distance between him and the others.

As he reloaded, he suddenly heard a chilling voice in his direction. "FIRE IN THE HOLE!" One of the members of the S.W.A.T. team screamed, grabbing Agent 16's attention as he reloaded. When he moved his head to look, he saw that the S.W.A.T. team had just thrown 4 hand grenades accurately towards him, and straight past the other man. Agent 16 dropped his M4A1 and dove backwards to avoid the blast, which he successfully managed to do.

As he got back to his feet, he saw the man he had unloaded his bullets into diving through the smoke caused by the grenades. Before he had a chance to move, the man dove at 16 with the intent of hitting him with a clothesline, which he did successfully. The force hit 16 as quickly as he expected it to, and channeled it through him and used it to throw himself backwards through the air, landing on his feet and drawing his Vz.61 Skorpion sub-machine gun once again, before unloading more bullets towards the man.

He had now discovered what he had to do to defeat this man, and moved towards him to try and fill him as full with as much kinetic energy he could, because, if he had to channel his kinetic energy to use it, if he was caught off-guard by a sudden move, it would disorientate and perhaps injure the man, and it would allow 16 to finish it before it started.

[Veil] found herself torn between [Rawhides] achievements. Sadly they lost more lives, but he had let loose with such fury that even she believed that the guard's could pass on feeling that they have been avenged.

“Allright Veil.” [Rawhide] spoke through the line again. “The Cafeteria is...clear.”

"Good job, How about we turn your attention to somewhere else where you are needed." [Veil] was trying to keep track of [Mach] yet his speed made it hard for her to really direct anyone in his location as well as trying to get a walkie talkie to grab his attention. Luckily he was still and [Veil] knew there was little time for her to get in touch with him so she caused every single walkie talkie to get a high pitched feed back in [Mach]'s area.

"Could you wait a sec, before you go running off again, Mach?" she added quickly before she was too late. "I have someone on the other line that is on the same side as you and I believe two should meet and perhaps help each other put this disaster to an end. There are others as well and perhaps if you both met up there, you can help get rid of the threat and assist in finding the next one, who apparently is planning something. [Veil] preceeded to give both [Mach] and [Rawhide] directions towards the courtyard to assist with [Bulwalk] and [MultiDude] with [Agent 16]. She connect the walkie talkies around [Mach] into the network of [Rawhide]'s device so that [Rawhide] could hear everything she said to him and so they could actually talk to each other]

"Help is coming, Dudes. Just keep him there as best you can". She said over the line to [MultiDudes].

"Whoa, did you see that?" [MultiDudes] asked his doubles. "We didn't wind up killing him."
Yes, but sadly we didn't kill the other guy either.
responded Dude 3. They each reloaded and considered throwing some more wondering if it would help or hinder the situation but they didn't get a chance as Dude 4's vision showed the others their new comrade was quite scarlet and was attempting to do someth-.

Then it happened. They watched as the area around them shook ad a crater was formed.

Each chuckled at the scene before them. They had to get further back and dive out of the way of falling debris due to [Bulwark]'s last technique. They had lucky with not getting anything more than fractures and slight lacerations. They were all kind of wishing they had power that allowed them to be more super human so that they wouldn't have gotten hurt at all.

"Help is coming, Dudes. Just keep him there as best you can". She said over the line to [MultiDudes].

"That's what we're trying to do. This guy has a good sense of tactics and is handling us both rather well. But he still hasn't used an ability. I'm not sure if he has one and is waiting to use it. So tell your new friends to be wary." [MultiDudes] was sure whether or not [Agent 16] had an ability, but if he did then getting some back up could go a long way. After quickly attending to their injuries they began navigating themselves through the maze of debris.

[Veil]'s sight of the courtyard was gone, as the cameras and the walls had fallen and shattered on the ground below. She wouldn't be much help there so she hoped that [Rawhide] and [Mach] would arrive at the courtyard soon. [Rawhide] had been closer but [Mach] was of course faster, It would be close. [Veil] had given two of her AIs commands to direct the two towards the courtyard making them use the voice synthesizer so that they sounded like her.

[Veil] was annoyed by [Babylon]'s response but she couldn't try again while he was surrounded by others, otherwise she would give his position away. so she had to watch and wait.

[Veil] watched through the camera's trying to read lips to find out what [Black Midas] was up to.
Another annoyingly intelligent opponent
she thought to herself as she watched him talking to a small group of inmates. She ran a background check to find out who they were and what their abilities were.

That other speedster seemed to be defeated, and that meant that Mach's job there was done.

He didn't feel that he needed to throw his defeated opponent in a jail cell or anything, he knew that S.W.A.T. or any remaining guards would find the unconscious prisoner and lock him up on their own. Besides, Mach knew that they would do a better job, a more secure job, at returning the man to his rightful place behind bars than he ever could. They were trained officially in law enforcement and probably did that job on a daily basis, so why should Mach need to do such a thing?

And so, with everything behind him, Mach simply kicked back and set off into a sprint, rapidly accelerating and he rushed around the corner and down the prison corridor, the sirens still wailing and dead or unconscious men still littering the floor with no sign of getting back to their feet. Still, Mach knew he was doing his best to defend the ones who were outside, in that big open city, from the people who would do them harm in this building.

As he took himself around the corner, he came to an open window and looked outside into the courtyard, where he caught a glimpse of some commotion outside. But before he could get a proper look at the entire situation, the walkie talkies of the dead officers near him screamed in a high-pitch frequency, causing Mach to grab his ears and nearly collapse from the noise. Once it had subsided, he walked over and took one of the walkie talkies. He placed it to his ear and began to listen to whoever or whatever was on the other side.

"Could you wait a sec, before you go running off again, Mach?" Mach laughed. He had only heard this woman's voice for about a second, and she was already telling him off. He didn't know her name, what she looked like and what she did for a living, the only thing he knew about her is what she sounded like. "Sure, I'm waiting, now that you've pierced my eardrums. But before you explain what you want from me, at least tell me your name, Miss?"

"I have someone on the other line that is on the same side as you and I believe two should meet and perhaps help each other put this disaster to an end. There are others as well and perhaps if you both met up there, you can help get rid of the threat and assist in finding the next one, who apparently is planning something." Mach was intrigued. He knew that he wasn't the only superhuman helping the authorities in this prison, but now one of them wanted him to join up with another. Well, Mach knew that two heads were better than one, and would gladly aid another in his attempts to end this. "Well, I guess having backup couldn't hurt. Show me the way, milady."

And with that, Mach waited for her response, leaning against the wall, his leg propped up to help him push off and burst into a sprint when he was ready to.

The blade dug into the man's shoulder and made the man wince, which in turn made Agent 16 smile. He had finally broken the pathetic barrier that the man had coated his skin with, and now Agent 16 could begin the real damage. Agent 16 watched the blood seep from the wound with interest, the hot, crimson liquid pouring from the wound and down the man's chest, it showed that he was human after all.

Any man that bled could be killed, that is what Agent 16 believed, and now that the man had bled, he was no longer invincible in the eyes of the Government assassin. But then Agent 16 looked again and saw no trail of the blood, instead it simply ran across his chest like water on metal and dropped to the ground. He looked up, shocked, and tried to thrust the blade deeper into the man's shoulder, where he had broken the barrier.

As he pushed and pushed with all of his might, Agent 16 noticed the tendrils. Tiny, pale, nearly clear tentacles of energy that swam around the blade, trying to mend the break in the man's barrier. He thought it was pathetic, the tendrils trying to piece each other together and fix the barrier, but then he realized something. His hand began to shake, and Agent 16 knew that he wasn't nervous.

The tendrils were pressing against the blade of his combat knife, absorbing the pressure that Agent 16 gave off in his hands. The blade began to crack in the middle under the pressure as his opponent gripped 16's wrist, before slamming his palm into his elbow. Agent 16 recoiled and tried to swing his metal arm around in a punch to the left temple, but a knee to his chest stopped that from happening.

Agent 16 released his grip on the knife and stumbled backwards as the knee smacked him in the abdomen. Using his metal arm, Agent 16 released his COP .357 Derringer handgun from it's holster, firing multiple bullets at his opponent's head, before using his free hand to pull his Intratec TEC-38 from his other thigh holster. He walked forwards, firing bullets all over the man's body in succession, hoping that he was still weakened, and, once he got close enough, holstered his Derringer and began to hit the man in the head with punches, hammer-like fists and elbows, adding a few headbutts for good measure as he tried to take his opponent to the floor.
"WHY...WON'T...YOU...JUST...DIE!?!" Agent 16 screamed at his opponent as he hammered as many blows and punches he could into the man's face before he was inevitably thrown off.

Somewhere...somewhere out there in the dark, infinite space there is a special realm, unseen by all, the Ivory Tower of the Master of the Arcane Arts, Doctor Infinity. Infinity garbed in his mystical robes, looked down into a pool of the most clearest and purest water one could ever hope to find. It was the mystical Augury, an object of great magical power that can scry the known universe revealing to the user, omens of the future. And the future looked bleak. A great evil is returning to throw the very Universe into a state of chaos. The Eternal One, has returned, and it seems his sights maybe set on the planet, his home, of Earth. Geoffrey was worried about the current state of his home that he has not seen for hundreds of years now. So much has changed in the span of time that he has been away, helping other races of beings against the many evils that fester within this great existence of theirs.

It wasn't before long that the image of Earth being assaulted by the Eternal One was erased and replaced with an image of the Council of the First. It was difficult to tell what exactly they looked like, having wearing hooded robes that concealed their entire bodies. He did know that they were much larger than a human and are definitely far older and wiser. He listened as the Council voiced their concerns about the return of the Eternal One. A concern that the Doctor shares as well. They commanded he meet them in their Chamber as the Doctor prepared to teleport himself directly before them. Soon he left the comforts of his sanctuary as he entered the round chamber room of the Council of the First. "This must be gravely serious, if the Council feels that I must meet them for a physical audience." Infinity spoke.

"Tis true, Master of the Infinity Soul, the Mana Force has spoken to us, as it has surely spoken with you." Spoke a Councilman. "The Mana speaks of a true threat to the Universe, a being we have long since philosophized to be the living embodiment of Pride, the Eternal One." Spoke the Head of the Council. There was a hush amongst the council as even Doctor Infinity tensed up. It has long since been the duties of the Hosts of the Infinity Soul to defeat the Seven Sins from the Universe. Yet, to go as far as to suggest one being can so perfectly encompass the Sin of Pride, then his power must be that of legends. "As the Council of the First, it is our solemn duty to create a Universe of peace, but in order to do so the very Avatars of Evil must be cleansed from existence." The Head spoke. "Of course, I do understand, but members of the Council if I may question, have we truly found one of the Avatars of the Seven Sins?" Doctor Infinity spoke aloud. The Council of the First muttered amongst themselves over Geoffrey's inquiry.

As they discussed in private they finally spoke aloud to Geoffrey. "The Mana works in ways that are mysterious, even to us, so called Sages. Yet, the Mana has given strong indication that The Eternal One maybe one of the Avatars, despite the lack of an apparent truth, we as the Council cannot afford to ignore this Eternal One." The Head responded. "Then, is it the wish of the Council for me to confront this Eternal One?" Doctor Infinity asked. "No, it is not yet time to face the Eternal One in combat...for now, we wish you to remain vigilant and act only when The Eternal One decides to strike." The Head quickly responded. Doctor Infinity bowed before this request. "One last thing must be brought up to discussion before our champion departs." A Councilman reminded their Head. "Yes, the matter of Earth troubles us greatly." He spoke. Geoffrey perked up as the Council seemed to have misgivings about his homeworld. Naturally concerned Doctor Infinity spoke, "What seems to be the matter with Earth?" The Head looked down upon the Doctor as he spoke with a heavy sigh.

"The Mana may reveal many things but one thing it cannot is the Future, merely, omens of the Future can be given and the Future of Earth is hidden within darkness. The Earth is going through a tumultous time of a change and the outcome of said change may greatly affect the rest of the Universe." He spoke. The Doctor was taken aback of what he was saying, is the Earth really becoming such a focal point in the Universe? As far as he could tell, the Earth lived in bliss of the great, wide Universe, nothing but an insignificant speck compared to the infinity of the Universe. He was quite happy the Earth drew no great attention like so many other planets that have long since created vast Empires that alter the course of history every where. Is it Earth's time to join such recognition and become a power player in the Universe? "Please tell me, what is happening on my home that would bring about such great change?" He asked greatly worried. "The Humans have come into contact with great power, power that is altering them, changing them into something far beyond what is considered Human. They are radically gaining fantastic powers and abilities and it is this quick and sudden change that brings about a great mystery that must be solved. Some way, some how, these Humans will forever change the scope of their planet either saving it or dooming it. Whether they be friend or foe, remains to be seen." The Head rambled on.

Doctor Infinity stood their, silent for sometimes as he mulled over the Council's words. He wasn't quite sure what was happening but since it was happening to his home, he felt obligated to learn more and find some way to help steer in on the course for good. With resolve in his eyes he stares up to the Council and speaks, "I may not be aware of the events on my own planet, but I shall consult the Augury and I will watch these Empowered Humans and determine if they are a threat to us." He spoke aloud. "That is all we ask of thee, Doctor Infinity." The Head spoke. After they each bowed their heads, Doctor Infinity was dismissed as he returned to the Ivory Tower. He once again peered within the ever clear pool as the Augury showed him of Earth, specifically Shadow Isle prison as a group of empowered individuals fight to quell the violent uprising occurring over the island. So far it seemed the situation has been mostly detained, yet the fight with Agent 16 holds his undivided attention. He watched on, wondering which side will be triumphant in this conflict.
