"I think I have already found something." Iris walked to the window on the wall at the side of the hallway and smiled as Lou Samson walked out of a building and into the prison courtyard. "Bald, old-lookin' guy at the courtyard? Alright, it's our first fight, we might as well start easy. He has no chance." Max started levitating above the ground before boosting through the glass, busting the window and shooting for the courtyard. "Wait, Max! We need a plan! Oh, for gosh sakes." She groaned and rolled her eyes before being to fly after him. He crashed into Rawhide, grabbing him and smashing him to the wall of the building he stood in front of, holding his forearm to his neck and making energy constructed chain restraints to stick Rawhide to the wall by his hands, arms, feet, legs and shoulders/upper body, and energy claws, retracted and ready to strike him across the face. "Wait!" Iris landed about two feet behind him and walked up next to him, "Let's see who this guy is and what he wants." Max's claws disappeared and he moved his forearm from his throat, but the restraints stayed where they were, "Alright... guy... first of all, who in hell are you?" Max stood a bit back from her, as he folded his arms and then cracked his neck as her sister stood in front of the man and interrogated him. "So? Spit it out, you bald-headed freak!"

”Hey prince charming, lets meet up in the Courtyard entrance.”

Mach had heard the loud, electronic beep, and he now knew he had been entered into a different radio frequency, or whatever they were called, Mach never knew. Whoever this girl was, the one that was obviously orchestrating the defense of this facility, she wanted Mach and her other companion to get together so badly, and if that was the key to saving millions of lives, then he would do it gladly and with ease.

"Courtyard entrance, got ya. Be there in a few secs." Mach began to set off running again, but stopped in his tracks a few moments after. “In fact, I'll race ya.”.

Mach simply laughed cockily and wholeheartedly into the microphone of the walkie talkie, before pushing off the ground into a sprint, picking up speed as he accelerated around the corner and towards the facility courtyard. When he arrived, he saw his new 'partner' across from him, and walked towards him in a friendly fashion.

Suddenly, a man, possibly an escaped prisoner, burst from the window above both of them and dove straight for Rawhide, closely followed by a female. Mach didn't have time to intervene right there, but when he saw the man lift Rawhide up into the air with him, Mach knew that trouble was abound.

As the man bolted Rawhide to the wall with energy-built constraints, Mach slowed down, although he was ready to pounce. The two, the man and the woman, stood there, interrogating Mach's new partner.
"Alright... guy... first of all, who in hell are you?"
This girl wasn't taking any prisoners, that could be definitely said, and so Mach took a few steps back, ready to charge.
"So? Spit it out, you bald-headed freak!"

At that moment, Mach bolted and rushed straight at the man, who had now retreated behind the interrogating woman, and dropkicked him to the floor with immense speed, sliding both men across the concrete, although Mach was able to slide on his feet over the man. On closer inspection, however, Mach realized this was a boy, a teenager in fact. Still, he had attacked, so that didn't make it right.

"Alright, kid, I believe it's time for you and your friend over there to return to your cells, don't you think?"

About to clear the hallway door to the courtyard Rawhide had been mere moments away from a petty triumphant victory, only to have the moment shatter before him as the glass windows above him exploded. The suddenness of the of the loud crash of the windows and ensuing glass storm had caught Rawhide off guard, a fact made worse by some unseen figure literally flying into him from out of nowhere.

Tightly gripping Rawhide's neck the unknown man, still flying, used his momentum to crash Rawhide into the wall. The force was of the blow was great enough that it probably would have killed a normal man, but luckily Rawhide wasn't normal-nonetheless he felt it. To Rawhide's surprise, which slightly showed in his hazel eyes, strange energy type shackles had sprung up all around his body pinning him against the wall on impact.

The oddly dressed stranger followed up the assault with a menacing looking set of claws forming around his hands, the color of which matched the energy shackles around Rawhide. Quickly Rawhide wondered if energy blades could pierce his skin? Hopefully not.

Readying himself for the coming strike a female voice sounded out “Wait!” A girl, as strangely dressed as the man (which made Rawhide assume they were costumed heroes or villians), landed about two feet behind Rawhide's attacker.

Being a rather simple man Rawhide didn't know much about energy manipulation or the arcane forces, but years of welding and working in construction had taught him quite a bit about buildings and structural integrity, a fact he put to use as he casually tugged against the energy constructs. He wasn't trying to break the chains however, no, he had other plans entirely.

"Let's see who this guy is and what he wants." Atleast she was making some sense, and to his relief the man stepped behind her, his claws vanishing. "So? Spit it out, you bald-headed freak.” The lady added with a shriek. On second thought they were both crazy.

“What I want...” Rawhide began, still flexing his muscles against the chains. He spoke slowly, trying to stall for Mach's arrival. Luckily he didn't have to wait long, the blue blur that was Mach making his presence known in a wild drop kick to Warlock. Rawhide watched as the two men went sprawling across the floor, Mach back on his feet before Rawhide could even see him stand up.

Not waiting a moment Rawhide took advantage of the distraction, letting forth a loud mix of anger and effort in some sort of primal yell he tore the constructs from the wall, freeing himself up to his shoulders. The chains he had freed however remained intact, still embedded in large basketball sized hunks of concrete that now dangled from his arms.

Using his moments before shackles of imprisonment as a makeshift weapon he swung his right hand in a fierce arc, sending the energy chain and attached concrete soaring towards Sorceress as if some sort of miniature wrecking ball.

“The uniforms, Mach!” Rawhide roared mid weapon flail. He was trying to get out the point that these two were not wearing jumpsuits, nor were they wearing something easily stolen/gained on the island. It was even possible they were masked powers somehow in on the prison break. Alas he was a little preoccupied and “The uniforms.” was the best he could come up with.

"For crying out loud!" [Veil]'s voice came over the line to [Mach] and [Rawhide], all walkie talkies in the vacinity (and causing [Sorceress]' & [Warlock]'s phones to start ringing if they have phones on them as well as getting a text message saying the same thing). "You are all on the same blasted side!" She snapped at them as if she was telling off her children, though their age differences were not that drastic.

The whole thing had gone from comical to downright dangerous in almost no time at all. [Veil] was glad that Rawhide had noticed but the whole group needed to be stopped due to so many other things that needed to be done. [Veil] had recieved the information on all those additional inmates that were not with [Black Midas]. It was an unpleasant group to say the least. Not to mention was going on with [Babylon] now. With three situations going on simultaneously [Veil] decided to do it as logically as possible.

"We have much bigger problems. A fellow 'hero' is being beaten inside," she said referring to [Babylon]. "Rawhide and Mach you still need to help in the courtyard to assist our group against that killer." You two, Iris and Max, need to use whatever power you used to get into the prison and help out the young hero." [Veil] explained while giving instructions as to how to get there (as well as sending picture with a map and the location marked, if they have their phones). "So could you please stop this nonsense and actually save people's lives?" Her voice had lost its slightly annoyed tone and changed to an inquisitive one. She really wasn't really good at communicating with people.

"Return to my cell? What's your psychopathic problem, Sonic the Hedgehog?!"
Mach stood over his downed opponent, pinning him to the floor, foot on wrist. He pressed down on the boy's wrist in an attempt to make him submit and come quietly, but that didn't seem like it was going to happen. At that moment, Rawhide yelled in anger and released himself from the binds that held him, catching everyone's attention. At that moment, the boy shot an energy blast and hit Mach straight in the back, sending him flying across the floor.

Mach cracked his neck to the right, spat on the stone and stared directly at the boy, patting his back off in pain as he tried to stare deep into his eyes.
"Kid, you've just made this personal."
Mach growled and rushed at the boy, dodging the energy blasts that came from his hands and eyes. He wasn't paying attention to what was happening between Rawhide and the other one, and he didn't care. The kid had shot him, and now it was time for the kid to pay. He flew past more energy bolts, grinning at the boy with cockiness as he swept to the side. He had moved to his knees now, but that didn't matter.

"Come on, come on! Just stay still, you bloody dingus!"
Mach dodged to the side of the nearest energy bolt and flew at the boy, punching him straight in the nose and flying over the top of him, kicking him in the back with both feet before sliding across the stone on his stomach. "Oh, for god sakes!" Obviously the child was getting angry, and that's what Mach wanted. He moved once more to attack, grabbing the boy in a headlock and wrenching it tightly, watching Rawhide as he took on the girl.

Rawhide caught Mach's eye as well, mid-weapon flail, and shouted. “The uniforms, Mach!” . They were obviously wearing uniforms, Mach could see that, but he also didn't understand Rawhide's point. He continued to hold his opponent tightly in a headlock, until his walkie talkie began to beep loudly, causing Mach to release the hold.

"For crying out loud!" Veil's voice screeched through the walkie talkie. "You are all on the same blasted side!"

Mach took the walkie talkie off of his belt and spoke into it, confused.

"What are you talking about? Since when?

Babylon winced as the sharp pain in his chest grew worse as Richard stepped harder on his chest. He grabbed his brother's foot and tried lifting it or knocking it off his chest, but it was useless. Richard was far stronger than Babylon in many different areas and his brother knew it, grinning as he tried to crush Babylon’s ribs with his boot. Babylon tried his hardest to defend himself, from spitting at his brother to trying to bite his brother’s ankle, none of it worked in his favour.

Babylon out a loud cry as he felt something crack, causing Richard to laugh and remove his foot from Babylon's chest. Babylon wheezed and coughed, trying desperately to breathe. The pain in his chest was almost unbearable, especially to someone of his size. He tried to roll over onto his side to aid his recovery, but was stopped when his brother kicked him hard in the back and sent him sprawling onto his stomach.

Babylon rolled his neck and spat on the ground; he had gotten tired of all of this. He closed his eyes and used his remaining energy to use the darkness around them and send it flying at Richard, causing multiple black tendrils to reach out and wrap themselves around Richard’s limbs.

Babylon rolled onto his back and stared at his brother; grinning evilly at the utter fear in his brother’s eyes. He then willed the tendrils to try and crush his brother, squeezing all of the air out of his lungs. Once he felt like that was enough, Babylon used the tendrils and threw his brother to the side, watching as Richard’s head almost cracked on the stone wall.

Babylon’s father came rushing into the room moments later, confused about all the commotion happening inside the cell. He looked into his son’s eyes as Babylon slowly got to his feet, a little hunched over and wheezing.

“Touch me, and that happens to you, Father.”

Babylon grinned, blood on his teeth, and willed his father to come and attack him, so that he could finally have his revenge for everything that happened that night so many years ago.

With two basketball sized hunks of concrete hurling towards his head Rawhide knew he had to time his next actions just right. With his entire body, save for his arms, still pinned to the wall he had just enough reach and quick enough reflexes to literally grab the first concrete ball out of the air-for a moment it looked like him and Sorceress were playing a bizarre game of catch. Pulling his arm back as he aimed the recently caught concrete he readied himself to throw it at the other incoming ball of rubble. In his mind he was certain that if his aim was good enough to hit the incoming concrete he could effectively destroy it, or at the very least knock it off course.

Unfortunately he never got the chance.

"For crying out loud!" Veil practically yelled, the piercing female voice in his ear completely catching Rawhide off guard. The momentary surprise was enough to make Rawhide lose his focus at just the right moment, the incoming concrete slab colliding with his head in a rather painful looking explosion of gray dust. “You're all on the same blasted side!”

The way his head now ached he was finding that harder and harder to believe.

Out of the corner of his eye Rawhide saw what looked like an odd combination of a laser light show and an acrobatic act, which in actuality was Warlock and Mach battling away. As Rawhide listened to Veil explain the situation/berate both he an Mach a thousand thoughts raced through his mind, most of which weren't good. His thought process went a little something like

Just who was Veil? I mean, sure, up to this point shes been rather helpful but shes also just some mysterious woman who hacked my com channel. For all I really know shes the whole mastermind behind the prison riots, and these two energy wielding weirdos are her goons. Mach seems slightly legit though, at least hes punching other people-but then maybe it was a trap for both of us. It could also be...

Mind begging to spin with the possibilities Rawhide's temper flared in agitation and he decided to settle the dilemma as he did most things: head on. His fists began hammering away at the wall behind him until he broke himself free, comically running towards the three other heroes like a mad man with huge chunks of wall still clinging to his body due to the energy shackles.

”HOLD ON!” He roared at the group as another ball of debris collided with his face, causing him to stagger for a moment. Quickly regaining his balance he barked again “I said hold on damnit!” He wiped the new layer of dust off. “Just a quick show of hands, HONESTLY, who is here to fight bad guys?!” Rawhide asked in the simplest of terms possible, his own muscular arm stretched upwards into the air as if to say I am.

[Veil] was on the verge of snapping at them again as she had a bite of her Ben & Jerry's ice cream, but as she listened to the conversation continue as well as [Rawhide]'s simplistic and possibly a tad childish way of sorting everything out seemed to be working as she watched the hands raise, one at a time, into the air. The nearby camera caught all of it on display as well as the actions of everyone moving through the prison.

"Uhm as heart warming as all this is, people are still dying or about to die and so on," [Veil] had a problem with connecting with people, not that she had a problem with it, but she did always tend to stick with facts and logic rather than emotions. I mean how could she get too worked up over people she was watching on a screen after all. "So is everything settled with this little pow wow? Who wants to be hero tonight instead of just somebody in a costume? Anybody forgot what I said was happening around here and need me to repeat myself?"

The camera was at an odd angle as well as having not an impressive resolution so she couldn't make out the expressions of anybody in the group so [Veil] had no edea who would respond first but she hoped someone we start the gears by saying something productive. Would it be [Sorceress ], [Mach], [Warlock], or [Rawhide]?

”HOLD ON!” Mach's head whipped around as the roar of Rawhide's voice came from that direction, and Mach was quick enough to turn around to see the concrete slab collide with his face. As funny as Mach thought it was, he knew that it wasn't a time for joking, and he kept a stern face to the best of his ability. “I said hold on damnit!”

"Alright, alright, we're holding on, keep your bloody socks on," Mach's head then snapped back to the boy he had been beating up a few moments ago. He scowled at the boy and then taunted him a little, but Rawhide didn't want him to attack, so he wouldn't attack as much as he wanted to out of respect for his new comrade.

“Just a quick show of hands, HONESTLY, who is here to fight bad guys?!” Mach watched as the girl's hand shot up into the sky like a rocket, before he saw that Rawhide stretched his arm to the sky as well. Before Mach could raise his arm, his eyeline was caught by the snapping sounds coming from over in the boy's direction. It was an odd thing that he was doing, Mach thought, but then he raised his arm into the air.

"I'd rather not call them 'bad guys' but whatever." Mach raised his arm into the air at lightning speed, before looking around everyone and seeing that all of their arms were up in the air. It seemed Veil was right, we were not enemies after all.

"Uhm as heart warming as all this is, people are still dying or about to die and so on," Veil's voice buzzed through the walkie talkie on Mach side, causing him to jump a little in shock. "So is everything settled with this little pow wow? Who wants to be hero tonight instead of just somebody in a costume? Anybody forgot what I said was happening around here and need me to repeat myself?"

Mach cracked his neck a little and outstretched the digits on his hands, before looking around everyone and coughing, vibrating his vocal chords to make himself sound more imposing.
"Right, listen up! We've seen what's happened here, the destruction that has been caused, the lives that have been lost and the evil that has been released. Now it is our job to stop them. It doesn't matter whether or not you're muscular, your fast or you can use magic, nor does it matter if you're big, small, skinny or large, we are a team now because we are needed to be. This isn't about us and our foolish bravado anymore, because up in those corridors and in these courtyards, people are dying, dying without any chance of surviving and no hope of doing so. We are the last stand, we have to stop this now, and we will continue to stop these things from happening whenever they arise. Do you understand? We are now holding up this world, like the Titan Atlas did before us, we are the last hope for the survival of peace and freedom. Now, who's with me?"

Bad guys. Did I really just call them bad guys? Hopefully nobody noticed that... Rawhide thought to himself slightly embarrassed. To his dismay Mach, as if on cue, responded with "I'd rather not call them 'bad guys' but whatever."

Of course somebody'd fuckin notice...just my luck. Rawhide thought as his face flushed a deep scarlet, his blushing made him thank god that he wore a full faced mask and no one would be able to see. Atleast his outburst had brought a momentary ceasefire among the group, each person having eventually raised their hand in response to his question. Unless one of them was lying they were all, in fact, on the same side.

"Uhm as heart warming as all this is, people are still dying or about to die and so on, So is everything settled with this little pow wow? Who wants to be hero tonight instead of just somebody in a costume? Anybody forgot what I said was happening around here and need me to repeat myself?“

No, Rawhide didn't need Veil to repeat herself. There were other powered individuals in the courtyard who apparently needed help, and with the vast amount of skills Rawhide had just witnessed he was sure they could turn the tide of whatever stalemate was going on. Then Mach started to speak again, his voice more ear catching then anything Rawhide had heard from the man before.

We are now holding up this world, like the Titan Atlas did before us, we are the last hope for the survival of peace and freedom. Now, who's with me?"

Something about the sudden speech was...moving? Rawhide wasn't sure what the word for it was but he felt a slight chill, like what Mach had said was true. Even more importantly for a moment Rawhide believed everything Mach had said. Suddenly full of even more adrenaline Rawhide visibly bounced up and down as if a boxer while absent mindidly popping the knuckles on his right hand with a loud crack.

“Well then what are we all waiting for? Let's go make a difference.” Without looking back Rawhide took off into the courtyard, sure his companions were right behind him.

It had gone on for too long, FAR too long.

He had fought this man to a standstill so many times, but he was not going to fight until another standstill happened again. As soon as the two went for each other again, Agent 16 used his bionic arm to punch his opponent in the forehead before running at them and tackling them down onto the stone, using as much strength as he could to lift both of them out of the hole they had created for themselves and back onto regular ground.

He began to smash the man in different areas so hard that he broke the shield multiple times, before he used his rifle and parts of broken debris to attack the man's head and leave him battered and bloodied. He threw the man back down into the hole, thinking he was dead, but little did he know that the man was still very much alive, just unconscious.

He looked around, seeing if there was anyone else left for him to take down, and noticed two men off in this distance, heading his way. He grinned evilly and walked towards them, brandishing his combat knife and handgun.
