Oliver Winchester

I'm not crazy, I just see things that you can't...

0 · 613 views · located in East Meadows Asylum

a character in “East Meadows Asylum”, as played by Rari

Description

Hello My Name is:Oliver Pen

Please Call me: Oliver

My Birthday is: June 12, I am 19 years old.

Well Obviously I'm: Male

If you must know I'm: Bisexual

Oh I'm: Well, the doctors say I'm stable...Sometimes.

It's Been: Exactly six years

~ . ~

My Shampoo?: Light Brown

I Don't Need Glasses: Golden Brown

Does This Make Me Look Fat?: 143 Pounds

Well I Think I'm: 5'7"

Aren't I Pretty: Oliver has light brown hair that covers his right eye, he wears his hair this way to cover up a scar he has over his right eye that his father gave him when he was a young boy. Oliver has pale skin and golden brown eyes that don't show much expression. He usually wears a beige hoodie and regular blue jeans, with black converse shoes. Oliver is almost always found carrying around a pink iPod which he had gotten form his younger sister just before going to the asylum.
~ . ~

Well I'd Honestly Prefer: Animals to people, Computer sciences, Ancient languages and history, Art and Music.

Hate Is Such a Strong Word: People in general, usually members of the opposite gender, Bitter things, Medication

I'm Speshful!: Oliver comes from a wealthy family so he is very polite. Well, of course when his schizophrenia allows him to be. He is a bit shy because he's afraid of people judging him for having a mental illness that he can't control. He doesn't talk much unless someone speaks to him first. He is a nice young man when you take a chance and get to know him on a personal level

This One Time!: Oliver was diagnosed with early onset schizophrenia when he was just seven years old. HIs mother accepted him the way he was, but his father despised him. Olivers father left months after he was diagnosed, leaving his mother with two children to raise on her own. His mother soon realized she couldn't raise Oliver and his sister Karina alone, so oliver grew up with nannies who looked down on him and referred to him as "The crazy one.". Because of this oliver rarely trusts new people.

The More You Know: Oliver can not be trusted with sharp objects as he has been know to try to hurt himself and those around him when the "Voices" Kick in. HOwever he is allowed mechanical pencils and painting supplies. Oliver hears a group of voices who lead him to do certain things. Theres one who he calls "Seven" who tempts Oliver into doing cruel things. Oliver can also see seven and often freaks out when he appears. There is also Axel who doesn't actually talk to Oliver. Axel is a delusion, an imaginary cat that only Oliver sees. Juno is a female voice and a delusion that rarely pops up, she's a result of Oliver loneliness, she started appearing when Oliver started living with nannies. Oliver sometimes switches personalities with Seven and becomes angry and sometimes violent. The doctors have him on constantt supervision.

Even Blackadder

Even woke up to his alarm clock going off next to his ear. Growling and cursing the morning simply for existing, he sat up and hit his alarm clock with a little more force then he probably should have. After standing and walking back and forth mentally going over today's list of to-dos Eve finally decided to get dressed. Throwing on a long sleeve shirt and then a bright green scrubs Eve reminded himself to buy some more next time he went into town. 'Or I could simply order them a spend my day off with Egg...' Eve sat a contemplated that though before he looked over at his alarm clock and went wide eyed.

Quickly pulling on a pair of black pants he bolted into the bathroom and finally into the empty halls. The patients have always been permitted to awake at whatever time they desire but Eve was still head nurse and that meant giving the morning announcement at precisely 7:00 of course he had to run errands first so he knew what to announce in the first place. After making his rounds through the now mostly empty halls Eve finally walked into the nurses command center... In reality it was just the front desk with a small room behind it full of charts but Eve though command center sounded cooler. After saying hello to the secretary Eve grabbed the phone and pressed the announcement button. "Good morning all staff and patients, It is officially 7:00 and breakfast will now be available-"

Eve continued to drone on about any special events the day might hold while also running through when lunch would become available then dinner. "That is all for the day, and while I'm sure that one day one of you is going to kill me for making these so boring I hope that's not today because I'm actually feeling somewhat chirpy." Finally Eve pulled the phone away from his face and set it down ignoring the raised eye brow the secretary gave him. After grabbing his patient list Eve decided it was time to head to the dining room where all the awake and hungry patients would be converging. He needed some food and he also needed to check up on a few of the patients.

Egglantine Blackadder

Egg awoke to the sound of hallway speakers cracking as her brothers voice came on. Groaning she threw a pillow onto her face and curled up. In the privacy of her own room Egg allowed herself to mentally will the speakers to explode. 'At least everything makes sense...' Egg smiled happy she had not awoken with her communication disorder acting up as that normally signaled it would last for the day causing her extreme irritation and finally to snap at some point and break something. Yawning Egg slowly pulled the pillow off of her head in time to catch her brothers parting message. Snickering Egg considered the possibility of another patient actually killing her brother for being boring.

Sitting up Egg cracked her back and finally got dressed. Being a stable patient she was allowed to choose actual clothes instead of just wearing hospital clothes... Of course her choices were never much more creative then a very baggy shirt and jeans. When she was done with her morning routine Egg left the safety of her quiet and pleasant room and ackwardly walked down the hall toward the dinning room. Her brother was already there and already eating as the nurses table. Egg smiled at this and got her own food. Thinking back to all the foods she'd eaten on a Thursday like this she groaned realizing she'd often settled for cereal. 'Well I shall have to break this trend wont I!' Feeling oddly daring Egg grabbed a plate and got herself some pancakes and eggs with a secretly pleased smile ignoring the confused and somewhat frightened cook. 'Pfff new person... Probably gonna be gone in a week.' Grabbing her plate Egg then proceeded to go over to her table in the corner. While cutting her pancake Egg also began to try and guess who would come in next thanks to her memory on who usually showed up first and how often they would in the past.

Oliver was up far before the head nurse spoke on the speaker. He woke up at five every morning. Oliver wasn't sure why he woke up that early, seeing as he wasn't permitted to leave his room until seven. He had already taken a shower, brushed his teeth and fixed his hair.

Once dressed he spent a long time painting a particularly peaceful painting, which was strange for Oliver. He often painted pictures of darkness, pictures of the one he called Seven. There were hundreds of pictures the he had drawn. Usually the nurses removed them from his room and stored them in an unknown location. Oliver suspected that they were just throwing them away, not that it bothered him at all.

After messing around on the electric keyboard they allowed him to have in his room he finally decided that is was intact time to eat. His stomach rumbled in agreement. He left his room, his iPod playing music in his ears. He walked down the halls at quite a slow pace, stopping to glance out windows when he saw one. Eventually he made his way to the cafeteria, seeing that quite a few people were already there, though he hardly knew anyones name. No one ever seemed too interested in talking to Oliver, so he didn't speak to them either. Oliver grabbed the familiar food tray and grabbed himself some toast and and a bowl of cereal. He walked past the nurses table and sat at his usual table located next to a window and sat down by himself. He ate his toast quietly and looked around, careful not to make direct eye contact with anyone. He noticed the two young girls sitting near each other, he thought it was strange because people here rarely ever did that. He brushed it off and continued with his breakfast.

C was doing a three step process, take a puff on his cigarette, eat some food, watch to see who came in. There was a minor drawback in that sometimes his food tasted like his cigarette which... didn't taste really good, but it was worth it. Kinda. Well, if they had bacon for once; he might consider not smoking while he ate, but the day they did that hell would freeze over, but then again, perhaps they have done it once or twice, and he just never remembers? Well, that was a depressing thought.

He kept his green eyes trained on the door because well, there was no where else to really look besides to stare down at his tray like a beaten down convict which they kinda were. None of the gorgeous nurses were up and so there was no use checking them out, and the kids were kids. Perhaps in a year or five, he would give them the time a day, and if they developed a little more in the breast department. Keeping his eyes on the door had the added bonus of being able to see who he would remember today, but the first one to come in was not someone he remembered. A blond nurse with a respectable rack and nice hips. What? Was he, a passionate man, supposed to notice her hair or her hat? Don't be ridiculous.

C had to admit name tags were his favorite thing about dementia. Was it because it helped him pretend he had remembered who they were? No, it was because he could stare. 'I am not looking at your tag, I am staring at your boobs', he hummed to himself as a silent joke. He would have yelled it, but then C's great con would be over. He couldn't even see the name tag of the blond nurse from here as she hurried over to the other nurses table. Well, C couldn't fault her for that. If their places were switched, there was no way in hell he would want to sit by these screwed up people.

C was pulled out of his pleasant, and base, thoughts by the sudden appearance of a red haired man, but C knew who he was which was always nice.

"Good morning C, do you remember who I am today?"

C leaned back in his seat and put on a 'hurt' expression, "As if I could Red." C said and waved his fork, "You say it like I always forget people; I would never." He said back to his bland face. Yes, he was making a rather bad joke, but what else was there to do in a house full of nut jobs and freaks?

Returning his attention to the blond nurse, C shook his head, "Don't you just love name tags?" He asked Red. Now, some would be confused by his question, but C had it on good authority that Red shared his love for a nicely shaped woman, and so he was willing to bet the man would catch his drift.

Movement caught his attention once more as 'I hear dead people' and Mister Royally Fucked in the Head showed up. Did he know their names? Yes, but it was much funnier to think of them like that. Especially since Mister always had that collar on; maybe he had a serious fetish for dogs. If he were a she, C would say that was pretty hot, but as it was a he; it was just weird.

"Huh." C said looking at the two new arrivals, "Did I order extra crazy today?" He asked Red.

Sage

Sage hadn't been able to sleep the night before. She'd tossed and turned all night in her bed, kicking off the bland white sheets only a shade darker than her skin. It's almost been half a year since Sage had been admitted. Her face still burned in shame when she thought about the first day she stepped in to this... Crazy house.

When the nurse's voice came through the speaker, the petite girl bolted out of bed, itching to move. Maybe some food would settle her churning stomach. Pale hands opened her closet door, rummaging for her typical black, knee length sundress. It was worn and torn at an edge, but she felt some comfort in the familiar fabric. Thankfully she was considered stable. Of course, I'm stable, there isn't anything wrong with me. Sage pulled it on quickly, smoothing the rumpled skirt. She ran a brush through her long white hair as she looked around for her fuzzy green slippers. Finding them, she put them on, grabbed a black sweatshirt and walked out of her room.

Maybe this was a bad idea. Sage's heart rate went up as she made her way through the hallways. Everyone she passed seemed to tower over her short stature and she put her head down, avoiding eyes that weren't looking at her in the first place. She had always waited until the last possible minute to get her food, less people that way. But... she didn't feel like staring at the bland white ceiling any longer.

Thankfully, it was almost empty besides a few other.. patients. But that thought was pushed back as the aroma of food invaded her senses. Her stomach grumbled, and Sage ducked her head in embarrassment, pale blue eyes staring at the floor. Quickly, she grabbed a plate and scanned the array of assortments. She loaded her plate with fluffy eggs and filled a cup with milk. Now what? Hesitantly, she looked up. Most tables were full... should she risk it...? Sage walked over to the windows. In her anxiety, she stumbled, barely recovering herself. She clenched her drink tightly. It had almost dumped itself all over the boy.

Pasting a nervous smile onto her pale face, Sage set her breakfast down, pulling out a chair. Taking a deep breath, she sat down.

"Um, hi... Sorry, if I'm -bo-bothering you. I'll eat quickly." She stammered out, looking down.

Oliver was enjoying his lunch quietly when a young woman who was quite pale walked over. He looked up at her, wondering why she was taking the time to speak to him.

"Um, hi... Sorry, if I'm -bo-bothering you. I'll eat quickly." She stammered out, looking down.

" You aren't bothering me at all, I's actually nice to have someone sit near me for a change." He said, a slight smile on his face. This was the first time another patient had actually talked to him, and it had been six years since he came to the Asylum.

"You take all the time you need to eat, don't hurry just because i'm here." He said taking a bite of his frosted flakes. He continued eating his lunch quietly, he wouldn't speak another word unless spoken to. He stole glances at the young woman every once and a while. Despite her obvious lack of pigmentation in her skin she was quite pretty. Not that he'd ever tell her that he thought she was. After a minute he got lost in thought, not realizing that he was staring directly at the young woman. He wasn't meaning to, he wasn't even aware that he was looking at her.

Rei smiled at Egg and took a seat. Rei took a bite of her toast and looked back up at Egg when she asked a question. Rei swallowed then smiled.

The music room does sound like a peaceful place to be, but the aquarium is also very peaceful and beautiful. I think I may just paint in my room and listen to classical music today... Much like every other day.

Rei chuckled to herself. Then a thought popped in her mind and she clapped her hands together joyfully.

Would you like to do something special with me for my birthday? My birthday is tomorrow! Wait... Or was it two days away? Maybe three?

Rei was embarrassed and was struggling with herself because she couldn't remember. Sometimes the amnesia really bothered her, but she just put on a fake smile and laughed about it.

Uh, nevermind.

Rei looked away but she looked directly at a boy with light brown hair. She couldn't remember his name, but she was at least thankful to remember his face. Rei smiled and waved at the lonely looking boy. When another girl went to sit at his table, she also smiled and waved, hoping the girl would see.

Even Blackadder

Even was weaving his way through the tables when he heard the sound of someone making contact with the ground. Turning quickly Eve's eyes settled on Kiko who'd tripped and was now lying on the floor. Moving swiftly Eve managed to make it by the other man's side in time to hear him mutter a faint ow. Eve crouched down and helped Kiko up immediately he inspected the males face for any damage. "You and my sister are going to be the death of me constantly making me worry..." Eve smiled gently after he was sure his patient was not injured he stood and helped him up to his feet. Looking over at Alice Eve smiled at her again. "Always vigilant Alice... Remind me to promote you or something sometime soon..." Casting a quick glance at Egg she seemed to be talking and therefor was fine today. He waved and she gave a thumbs up signaling she was fine, Eve nodded in response and they continued there silent conversation with there eyes until it was over. Eve then looked over to Alice and Kiko again his smile becoming much softer.

Egg smiled gently. "Your birthday has not passed but you are right it is shortly I will gladly celebrate it with you if you want... Though I do not know what kind of celebration one could have... Anything particular in mind?" Egg finished her pancakes and gently pushed her plate away so she could concentrate further on the conversation she was having with Rei after all it would be rude to not provide her attention to someone more so to someone who might forget your name should you show them neglect... Egg was in that sense lucky she remembered everything though that was not always a good thing. "Hmm... I could perhaps write or play you a song on the piano if you would like... That is after all one of the reasons I wound up here." Egg glanced over to who Rei waved at and she also waved though it was un-certain and confused.

Oliver didn't really get a response so he just kept eating after he snapped out of his daze. He looked over and saw two girls waving at him. He wasn't sure why they were waving, nor did he know who they were. 'Am i just popular today or what...' He thought. Oliver waved back at them, managing to actually smile. Suddenly there was a thud. Oliver flinched, he wasn't fond of sudden loud noises. he looked over and saw a young man facedown on the floor and raised an eyebrow. It wasn't the first time he'd seen a patient face plant. He watched while two of the nurses, one he knew and one he had just seen around, help the man up. He assumed the man was fine and went back to minding his own business, and fiddling with his iPod once more.

Oliver started playing some game similar to 'papi jump', which was basically just a little face jumping on platforms. After losing four times he turned it off and got up to empty his tray. He walked past he two girls who waved, glancing at them. He threw what was remaining of his breakfast away and put his tray in correct place, then returned to his seat by the window. He took out his pocket notebook and mechanical pencil and began drawing the entire scene in the cafeteria, it only took a few minutes and he was done. Bored, Oliver rested his head on the table and sighed to himself.

Sage

"You take all the time you need to eat, don't hurry just because i'm here.

She could feel his eyes on her, and did her best not to fidget. How was she supposed to answer that? Say, 'thank you'? Would that make her sound weird? Sage decided to say nothing and continued to eat breakfast. His words were so friendly...

Sage couldn't help but blush. He sounded nice, but her stomach fluttered that he'd even talk to her. Non one's said a word before. Did he expect a reply back? Sage wanted to face palm so bad... what was she supposed to do? She had never been in a scenario like this. He was older... and not weird or geeky looking.. She sneaked another peak at him, and looked wistfully at his face. Nope, he was by far the most attractive guy to have ever talked to her. The only time she had talked to the opposite gender, was when the teacher paired them together... It was embarrassing.

Sage felt her face go hot, when he got up and walked away. She forced herself to swallow some milk and watched him out of the corner of her eye. Had she been annoying him? Her stomach tightened in worry. He hadn't seem too bothered. If he came back, she vowed to try attempting to speak. Of course, it was easier to think than do it. She watched him with wide eyes as he took out a pencil and tiny notebook. Curiosity made her brave... and Sage took a deep breath.

"So, wh-what are you doing?" her voice was a tad higher in pitch, but she managed to not look down. "If you d-don't mind me asking..."

Oliver was thinking with his head in the table when suddenly a small, and shy voice seemed to be speaking to him.

"So, wh-what are you doing?" her voice was a tad higher in pitch, but she managed to not look down. "If you d-don't mind me asking..."

"Oh, I was just drawing. Sorry if i made you suspicious or something." He sat back up and turned the picture so it wasn't upside down and pushed it towards her, careful not to get too close. The picture was of the scene that had just happened. The girl, whose name was still unknown to oliver happened to be the center of the picture since she was in front of him when it happened. Oliver hoped it wasn't creepy or anything. He wasn't worried about her liking the picture, he had been able to draw brilliantly since a young age, it was part of the reason he was at the asylum. Oliver really wasn't the type of person who cared much about what other people though of his art.

The picture was accurate, well almost. Oliver had drawn in a small tabby cat near the young woman in front of him, of course this was one of his delusions, a cat he called axel.

"Oh, I'm aware that theres no cat in here, I'm schizophrenic and i see things you can't sometimes." He said quietly. Oliver didn't hide his schizophrenia but he didn't go around shouting it to the world either. "I'm not sure it was a good idea to tell you that...." He said and placed his head back down on the table. He was silent for a minute then asked her name, he found it irritating that he didn't know who he was talking to.

When Oliver walked by, glancing at her, she smiled then turned her attention back to Egg. At first Rei was a little confused when Egg mentioned her making a fuss on her first birthday, but then she shook it off. Oh well, no point in trying to remember anyways. Rei didn't really have a say in whether Egg celebrated her birthday or not, she couldn't even remember what her past birthday's were like. When Egg mentioned writing songs as a usual thing, Rei smiled and said;

Wow, you write songs? That is so cool!

Rei also writes songs herself occasionally, but she kind of forgot about it. When Egg glanced back at her brother, Rei also looked behind her and seen Kiko up on his feet, looking back at her. Rei quickly turned her head back towards Egg, hoping that Kiko didn't think she was about to stare.

Eve smiled as he helped Kiko up, though that smile was accompanied by an embarrassed blush soon. "Shh... As a nurse I'm not suppose to have favorites..." Eve's face dimmed in color. "But yes... Yes your my friend Tick." Eve grinned and began brushing dust off of Kiko until he mentioned something about other people. Eve turned to look at who Kiko was talking about and smiled. "Ah well the one with hair like mine is my little sister Egg, she's what brought me hear in a way." Eve smiled and studied the other girl. "I believe the other girl is Rei Takashi... I don't have her because she's a fairly stable patient." Eve smiled at Kiko. "Egg always worries about me so she was probably just looking over to make sure I was ok." Eve smiled. "Ah anyway lead the way."

Egglantine Blackadder

Egg's cheeks flushed. "Ah, well yes and no... I mean I compose songs I don't sing or anything... Really I'm an instrument person..." Egg flushed deeper red. "New topic of conversation please... I dislike being the main topic its... Awkward." Egg looked away and fiddled with her fork clearly showing her shyness. "Ah, may I ask why you seem to want to talk to Oliver? I'm sure that he would much prefer a direct approach as actions during his time spent here indicate he is not use to attention from other patients... Though I cannot blame him... It is difficult for us to create bonds with one another. N-Not that I'm saying I don't wanna talk to you or anything but... Il just be quiet now." Egg sighed and shook her head annoyed that she'd over analyzed the situation again.

"I'm not sure it was a good idea to tell you that...."

"It's amazing," Sage was mesmerized by the accuracy in everything, besides the cat of course. It was a cute kitty. "You draw so well. I could never draw like that." She looked back up from the drawing, mustering up the courage to meet his eyes. "And there's nothing wrong with schizophrenia. Well, I don't think so a-anyways." She realized how bold she was being and felt proud of herself.

Then he asked her for her name, and she shrank back into herself. "I am kind of new here. My name is Sage. And I was admitted here because they said I was autistic and I needed help." Her voice trailed off bitterly. Sage realized she might have sounded self pitying so she plastered a smile on her face. "The doctors also said I had Obsessive Compulsive disorder..." She looked back down and took a small sip of milk.

"I think I'm just shy, and there's nothing wrong with liking things a little clean." Sage glanced back up. "But now that I'm here, I hope we can get along."

"I'm glad you like it...And thanks for not thinking i'm crazy. I'm almost positive that everyone else here thinks i am." He said with a smile. Smiling wasn't something he did too often, but he felt like he could today. "Theres nothing wrong with being shy and licking things clean. You seem like a perfectly fine person to me." He said taking back his note book. He thought about drawing more but didn't want to seem uninterested. "Sage is a very pretty name by the way, I've never heard of it before. I think it suits you. My name is Oliver." He said looking at her and smiling slightly. "I'm no where near new to this place, i've been here for six years. But i hope we can get along too, seems like we're doing a pretty good job of it right now anyways. "So, everyone here has some sort of talent. Whats yours? well of course if you don't mind me asking." He asked, looking distracted by something Sage couldn't see.

"Six years..." she whispered almost silently. Would she have to stay here this long as well? But she made a friend! Kind of, almost. He said her name was cute. She blushed slightly. As for talent... What was she supposed to say? She wasn't good at music, or art... or theatre. "Umm, I like solving puzzles. Things that like have patterns and numbers. It's not really a talent I suppose, but it's the only thing I'm good at." She shrugged with embarrassment. "SO.. what do we do on a typical day? I'm finally done with all the routine check ups that they do to all the new patients." Would they be allowed outside at all? Sage couldn't help but hope. It was not fun to be prodded with needles, and interrogated over and over again. It was irritating and starting to make her feel kind of depressed. Then again, maybe this place would be different from home. It could be better. She had a friend! Maybe she could make more...

A little girl with a frail body and big brown doll eyes that matched her free flowing brunette hair was sat in her room pulling up her long length socks up to her knees. They complimented her red skirt and white shirt perfectly; the finishing touch being a red ribbon around her neck like a little Japanese school girl. It was rare she wore anything other than her uniform. If you walked in now you would never guess that the female sat upon her bed was in fact classed as a adult if you looked at the age upon her birth certificate.

Lou left her room with light quick girly steps and headed down the canteen to eat. She hummed a sweet little tune and tried to look as adorable as possible. Like animals tried to attract mates, she was trying to attract brand new parents. Eva could not believe they had taken her out of her lovely home where she could have been dependent on her Mother and Father and forced her here alone with nobody to care.

They had told her she was 19, had something called peter-pan syndrome, and needed to grow up; the idea to her seemed completely bizarre, she was just a very unfortunate unlucky girl in her eyes though the comment about Peter made her smile.

As Lou reached the food court her humming fell silent and sad eyes locked upon bar. She decided that going up to a big scary place like that and getting her own food with no adult to assist her was not something she was going to do today. Though the little girl refused to go and ask for any help, just stood there looking like she was going to burst into tears. Someone would see her at some point, she just had to wait.

"Umm, I like solving puzzles. Things that like have patterns and numbers. It's not really a talent I suppose, but it's the only thing I'm good at." She shrugged with embarrassment. "SO.. what do we do on a typical day? I'm finally done with all the routine check ups that they do to all the new patients."

"Well, we aren't allowed outside, well at least i'm not normally allowed outside, the doctors don't always count me as a "stable" patient. You might be allowed outside though." He said with a sigh, he had been there six years and not once was he allowed out of the facility. "Its all bull crap if you ask me, limiting patients due to their mental state. I mean i would understand if you're completely insane, but most of us here aren't. Oh, pardon my language." He said, mostly to himself, but loud enough for sage to hear. "I guess you could visit the kitchen, if you like to cook they might let you use it. Theres also the underwater observatory place, I'm not allowed in there much either. Not that that affects you in any way. Theres a music room, art gallery, library, art room, living room, and an indoor garden. All patients are allowed in those places." He said sounding like he was a speaker on an infomercial. "You're pretty much allowed anywhere in the facility. I suppose if you're reaaaaallly bored you could visit the doctors, though no one ever does that." Oliver explained. "You're lucky to be done with check ups for now, I get to go get poked and prodded by a bunch of needles today. Yay me. right?" Oliver let out a slight chuckle. "So you like puzzles huh? Maybe we could figure one out together some time. I probably wouldn't be able to help out much though, I'm not good at those sorts of things." He sighed to himself and checked the clock, it was almost time for breakfast to be over.

He really was a nice person, Sage decided to herself. She smiled sympathetically at Oliver. "I've never hated doctors as much until I got here. Th-they aren't very nice..." She shuddered, thinking about them. "And puzzles are really easy, I could help you." She felt oddly cheerful saying those words. Sage never had friends. Only herself and her little mathematics and puzzles. Math always kept her busy, but sometimes, it got a little lonely. She wasn't ever even allowed any pets.

"Well, good luck today!" Sage said seriously, check ups seriously sucked. It sucked the energy right out of her at least. "I think..." She trailed off, putting her utensils and cup on her tray, getting ready to clear it. "I'm going to go visit the indoor garden," Plants fascinated her to no end. Their DNA patterns were so unusual and different than a humans. It was her hobby to study the genetic mutations and diseases. She could feel her day getting brighter by the second, and Sage grinned brightly.

A wave of anxiety hit her. Where was it? She'd get lost and she hated trying to ask for directions. Oh well, speaking with Oliver had given her a little confidence boost. Sage would figure it out. She had to grow up sometime. "It was really awesome to meet you." She blushed, feeling shy again. It felt nice to have someone she could call a friend.

"I'm going to go visit the indoor garden," Sage said.

" Thats a good place to go, its nice and peaceful. I like it there." Oliver said, more to himself then to her.

Oliver was happy that someone sat with him for once. But now that his breakfast was ending he went back to being his normal quiet self.

"It was really awesome to meet you." She blushed, feeling shy again.

"It was nice to meet you too. Thanks for toking the chance to actually talk to me. I appreciate it." He said with a smile, he got up from his seat and pushed it back in where it was before he had sat in it. "Oh, by the way. The indoor garden is down the hall past the nurses office and to the left, take that hallway for about 45-50 feet and its through the door to your right. Just thought i'd let you know in case you didn't already know." He said with a slight smile. "Well, see you later i suppose." Oliver gave a slight wave and made his way to a doctors office to have his check up completed. The doctor checked his pulse and did all the other necessary things then sent him to the psychologist to discuss a medication change. Oliver wasn't fond of the idea at all, though his choices were limited, he didn't have much a a choice.
