Soul description:
Sporadic, chaotic, kind, shy
Personality:
Hisashi isn't someone who can be understood easily. He's quiet and doesn't like to be noticed, however he values anyone who can see the real him. He can be calm, almost in a trance, dream-like state in the most inconvenient ways and times, other times he seems to be bouncing off the walls, giggling furiously, talking a mile a minute, can't sit still. This will scare a lot of people away, they look for stability, look for someone they can rely to stay the same, but that isn't Hisashi at all. When he changes it can be triggered by external events, it can be as simple as a change in mood, or just that he decided he wanted to act different one day, getting tired of being shy and of staying quiet. Though throughout this instability, he will always remain kind at his core. He really, truly does believe in peace, in standing up for someone, in protecting others, however he is also one that doesn't speak out so if his meister chooses to go against this kindness, he won't protest though he may want to. Only if it's really, super important will he stand his ground. He is a bit of a push-over, but not to the extent that one could call him this, he just picks his battles and most battles he lets slides to avoid conflict if he can.
He also has very philosophical, curious, questionable thoughts. He loves to question everything to get to know something at it's core. He'll ask questions past the point of being annoying, only stopping when he's become satisfied with the answers. He'll question everything too; reality, himself, society, human perception, meaning, language. It'll make people almost become dizzy. This all burns down to that he just has to know, he doesn't know why (and believe me he's asked this part of himself a lot, trying to answer), but he just has to, it's really a need for him to know everything about everything. Because of this he's become an expert in almost every subject one can think of; music, art, literature, philosophy, history, math, science, government studies, film, engineering, etc. All of this knowledge doesn't come easy to him, he isn't a prodigy in that sense, all his knowledge had been obtained with careful questioning, determination to find the answers, and hard work. He never shows off his knowledge to show his intellect proving he's smarter than everyone else, but to educate others so they don't have to live in the horrible, black ignorance (as he calls it), which is one of the scariest and painful "places" to be. If he is called ignorant, or is called out on not knowing something he will become unbelievably defensive and lose his gentle, kind, passive nature till he either rectifies the problem or proves the person wrong and has them take it back.
History:
Hisashi was born in San Francisco to two parents who loved him, however they didn't love each other. His parents often fought with each other, loudly and where ever. They tried their best to keep the fighting at home and without company, but that didn't mean it couldn't absolutely not happen when they didn't want it to. A lot of people were concerned with Hisashi, thinking that this fighting was affecting him in a bad way or that his parents took their anger out on him as well, not realizing that after every fight they came in to check on him. However, after the years passed Hisashi wanted to know why his parents fought more than others, so he started investigating, only what he found out was that
