Appearance:

Alignment: Evil
Position: Traitor
Personality:
Evil to the very marrow of his bones, Marrok is ruthless and merciless. He will kill those who get in his way and others he will manipulate if he finds he can use them. Marrok is the very definition of the word “traitor” and his heart is as black as the Obsidian jewel he bears. Determination and patience are two of his greatest traits and are equally dangerous to his enemies. He is also tricky and sly, able to keep both his allies and enemies merely guessing at what he’ll do next.
Other: Bearer of the Obsidian jewel.
History:
Nothing had happened in his life that caused Marrok to turn out the way he did. As far as anyone knew it had only been by the design of fate. His parents had loved him and he did care for them and his brother but unfortunately for them not enough. Throughout his entire life, Marrok’s goal had primarily been to gain power and take control of the three packs within the Khalindar Forest. Such a pity it was when the day came that his brother, Drex, became Alpha Male of the pack. Oh, for a few years everything was okay at first but it had eventually became apparent to Marrok that Drex did not have the same visions of grandeur as he did for the pack.
It was at about the same time that Marrok started planning his brother’s death that he found something quite interesting. Never before had he encountered such a stone, entirely black but shiny. Strangely, it felt like the stone was calling to him, whispering on the edges of his mind with promises of helping him to achieve his goals. At first, Marrok had thought he was dreaming but he soon realized that the stone and its whisperings were real.
Obsidian. Darkness. Those two words had been whispered to the wolf on several occasions until he realized that the stone was called “Obsidian” and that it held a power of Darkness within. The more he listened to the whispers the more he learned about the jewel’s origins and everything else, including that the Guardian was the bearer of the Diamond, the jewel that held the power of Light.
It was the other four jewels he needed though but it was too soon. Yes, too soon.
It wasn’t long after that that Marrok finally killed both Drex and Drex’s mate and attempt to take over the Dire pack. It had all been ploy though to distract everyone from the truth, especially the Guardian. Even though they had managed to catch him after the murders, the Guardian had only banished him. It was only then that his true plan begun.
