Ember glanced at the people appearing in the kitchen/living room. The house was too small. The walls closing in on her, suffocatingly too close. Snap out of it! She shook her head before standing and removing herself from the environment by going out onto the protected deck. She sat down on the swinging love seat to the side, and stared out at the lake. Why was she so different? She saw how the others acted around other humans, how they expressed emotions and actually felt. She closed her eyes and listened the sighing of the wind, the swishing sound of the lake, how like a mother soothing her child. Ember inhaled the scents of the water, the grass, the trees, and the smell of freedom. If only I could feel and actually feel the feeling of being proud and happy, joy, pleasure and even pain of the soul. I'd do anything to feel. The thought reminded her of her project, she pulled out the liquid metal in her hand that temperarily been formed into a solid block, but it instantly fell into a puddle in her hands at a single flick of her eyes.
Ember pulled her hands close, to levitate the pool of silvery that promised hope. She inhaled, echaled, and concentrated on the image, and feel of her project. She felt a surge of power run through her, pulling back like a tide, and rolling forming into a killer wave as she let it loose focusing on the metal in her hand, coaxing the aggressive storm inside to change what she held. The feeling of being powerful came back again, and this time she experimented with it by encouraging it to swell and filled her to her toes. A bright flash exploded between her palms, the metal liquid curled around itself and unfurled itself, actually turning and taking a form of a flower, it's petals moving with the wind like an actually living flower. Veins were etched so detailed from petal to stem. It was a lily, a silver metal lily.
Ember opened her eyes and actually jumped up and laughed, her eyes burning bright with... Joy? Glee? No... Power... She ran inside and actually went to Nirvana, the spirit user. The metal flower levitating after her. "I did it! I did it! I actually did it without hurting anyone!" She let go of the girl and turned to looked the flower she created and smiled, but then couldn't help it. She hugged everyone in the room, even the fish boy, and laughed again... Except this time she laughed the T.V. made static noise, the mircowave actually turned on and the frigarator stopped making that whirring noise it always made. The lights also went out. She stopped smiling and looked at everyone. "Oops... Sorry, I forgot..."
