Appearance
Cheekbones. That's what most people think when they see Kian; cheekbones and jawbones. These are the two most prominent features of his face, or his body in general. Standing at 6'2, he's generally taller than those he's around, and he's used to that. He's got average set wide shoulders, and a body that is toned from hours spent working out. He's never been particularly skinny in his life, so he lacks stretch marks. His face, not necessarily special in any way, is generally smiling. His teeth are pearly and white, and his smile is the type that makes those around him smile. His nose is long, and slanted, but it's not large compared to the rest of his features.

On a daily basis, he's likely to be found wearing a collared shirt or blazer, or a sweater, and chords. On his feet, he wears docksiders, even when it's cold out. His hair is a fluffed up mess most of the time, as he has no idea how to care for it.

Special Marks
Kian has a single, thin white scar on his left jaw bone. He also has sar on each of his knees, from falling white skateboarding when he was younger.

Occupation:
Kian currently doesn't have a job.

Fears
~Arsonphobia /:/ The fear of large fires, the fear of burning. ~
~Eremophobia /:/ The fear of being on one's own, or of loneliness. ~
~Gerascophobia /:/ The fear of getting old, of growing old. ~

Secret
Kian is a bit of an alcoholic since his sister's suicide attempt, but no one knows and he hasn't told anyone.

Personality
Kian could be viewed as the epitome of selfless. Ever since he was a kid, it has been more important to him that those around him were happy, instead of his own happiness. He's the guy you can count on to always be there, whether or not you are best friends or basic acquaintances. Whether just holding a door open or being a friend who is there to listen, he looks to help others whenever possible. As a selfless person, he are not just focused on what he needs. He also has a genuine concern for others, and going above and beyond past their needs to make them happy.

First interactions with Kian are always interesting; no matter how hard you try to learn something about him, it's likely the conversation will be directed back to you. He's not good at talking about himself, and honestly, it makes him uncomfortable. Why would other's want to spend time learning about him? It doesn't benefit them, and therefor he feels like he is boring them, and maybe even causing them pain when he talks solely about himself. Instead, he is always interested in others. He's got a question about everything, and never fails to seem interested with whatever answers he receives, whether they seem detailed, or bland. It just makes him happy to learn about other people, and to make them know he wants to know about them. It's not that he consciously is trying to make people feel appreciated, but that's what he does.

His power only makes this more prominent. He can tell how others are feeling, even if he doesn't mean to, and these emotions often interfere with his. No matter what, Kian is happy, but that doesn't mean he can't feel others as well. If someone around him were to feel an emotion, anger for example, he feels it as well, and completely understands how they feel. But he's still happy, and instead of dealing with the anger, he works to fix who ever is causing the feeling, even without knowing. The only problem with this, is he ends up building up tons of emotions and never dealing with them. But hey, he's been good thus far.

When his power kicks in, as well as feeling their emotions, he sees a sort of aura around them, like a color, even though it's not their. Currently, he doesn't know what they mean.

History
Kian's backstory isn't one of horror and depression, with nothing ever going right. Sure, he had his fair share of travesties, but that wasn't all that makes up his past, and if you asked him, he wouldn't be able to pick out one moment in his life that affected him for the worse. Well, that was until this summer, at least.

As a kid, Kian was very happy. His father was a good guy, who worked hard to take care of his kids. In his younger days, he and Kian's mother had grown up next door to each other. They'd always been best friends, living in Kinsale, Ireland, and grew up together. They went to the same college together, and it wasn't until two years after college that they fell for each other. They'd been together without large flaws since, enveloped in an incredible love. They fought, they hugged, they kissed, they always hung out, and they didn't have any serious troubles.

She passed away after giving birth to Madden, Kian's sister. Kian doesn't remember her, at all, considering he was one and a half when she died. It affected his family, that was for sure, but they got through it. In the gap that was his mother, Mr. McKinley through opportunities at the kids. Madden was a gymnast, but also participated in cheer and other sports her school offered, having had a coach when she was 4 that made the basics like second nature for her. Kian, on the other hand, was intrigued by art and music, particularly guitar. He was provided with top of the line art supplies and a guitar that worked as well as any. He was taught what you're taught in college art classes as a middle schooler, then left to his own skill and mind. In order to pay for all of this, he had to work hard, but he made a huge amount of money and worked up the ladder in his business. This was noted by the kids, who became increasingly close due to long hours spent with just the two of them.

The first time Kian's powers kicked in, he was sitting in his room, just him and his sister home, and all of a sudden he started feeling overwhelming sadness. And nebousness. And terror. And he didn't know why, but he felt it coming from across the hall. Getting up, he went into his sisters room, hearing noises in the bathroom; sobs. He walked in, scratching his head in confusion, and saw his sister, full clothed, sitting in her bath, eyes looking fuzzy. The water was tinted pink, red liquid floating our from his sister's arm. Before he knew what he was doing, he pulled her out of the tub, grabbing a towel and wrapping it tight around the cut, his hands shaking as he looked into his sister's eyes, hoping he wouldn't lose her. But it was terrifying, the blood, the hazy look in her eyes. Even worse, as his sister faded out of consciousness, his intense fear, faded to joy, then to nothing. He called the hospital, but decided it would be faster to drive, and was at the hospital shortly after. Had he not gotten there when he did, she would've died.

That night, he started drinking. Ever since, you could say he has a little bit of a problem. A majority of the time he has a water bottle on him, and it's usually filled with some type of alcoholic beverage. He doesn't know how it got so out of hand, but it did.

Kian's eyes fluttered open, his alarm clock's beeping sounding terrible loud in his early morning haze. He groaned loudly, his arm smacking onto his night table in spastic movements as he attempted to silence it's noise. He wasn't adjusted to the time difference from home, at all. Well, that, and he was more than a little hung over right now. Finally, his hand connected with the alarm, the noise cutting off.

His eyes shut slowly as he faded back into sleep, but the combination of his headache setting in and the cat nuzzling his side brought him back into reality. Kian sat up quickly, moaning and clutching his head as he did so, and looked at the alarm clock. He needed to get going if he was going to be on time to hang out with Astrid. Automatically, he stroked the kitten at his side, picking it up to his chest with one hand and he grabbed a bottle of water from under his bed. Max purred lightly, obviously happy to get attention, and Kian opened his water bottle, tipping it over and draining it. Hopefully, this would help sooner or later. Also, Kian opened his bedside table's drawer, pulling out advil. He popped two in his mouth, swallowing, before standing up. Max leaped from his hands onto the bed, curling up in the warm place where Kian had just been.

He walked into the bathroom, going pee and then brushing his teeth. Checking the clock, he realized he had enough time to shower, and did so, quickly. Afterwards, he felt better. His head wasn't as fuzzy and wasn't pounding anymore. Kian changed into his uniform, the gold and purple being too bright for him at this hour. Despite the fact that he could probably get away with cheating dress code, he followed it. He wanted to be a good example of a student, since he was head boy.

His hair, still damp from his shower, was beginning to curl. He ran his fingers through it, to get it running the right way, the putted a dot of gel in it, hoping it would tame it. Grabbing his backpack, he poured Max a bowl of food. He also pocketed a pack of cigarettes. He was about to leave, before he made a last minute decision. Going back to his bed, he stroked max softly, pulling out a bottle from behind his bed and taking a few swigs, the taste burning slightly, but in a good way. Then he left, walking down the hallway, different emotions popping into his head as his usual smile fit onto his face. He nodded at those he passed, most of them generally feeling happy, but pretty tired, and a few angry for something or another. He met Annabelle at Astrid's door, knocking and waiting for the girl to come out.

Wow, she sure was pretty. He saw her once over, and he blushed lightly, turning to walk as she did. He didn't ask anything very interesting, and as he was about to ask about her night, when they were approached by the headmaster. Kian nodded at him, a large smile fitting his face. "Hello Headmaster Ryan. How are you?"

Quinn tapped his foot impatiently. He was dressed in a crew neck black sweater and navy sweats. He also wore new sneakers on his feet, but none of this was important right now. After the private jet ride from New York to this airport, he was in pain. Just hours before the plane ride, his dad had gotten very, very angry. And now, with slashes all over his back, he was sore. He'd probably been hit with the belt 17 or 18 times, and part way through, he'd passed out from the pain. That's why he now wore a dark sweater; so when the blood began to flow if he bent down or stretched or something, it wouldn't be noticeable.

So he stood here now, waiting by the doors of the airport, next to the limo his dad had hired. He was carpooling with some girl... what was her name again? Alden? Something like that. They'd flown separately, since they live on different sides of the country. The girl came into his eyes, well at least a girl he assumed to be here. She was pretty, a little tall and blonde and pale. Yeah, definitely pretty. He nodded toward her, signaling for her to come over.

"I'm Quinn," he said, putting his hand out to shake her's, then opening the car door and letting her get in, before going in himself. They had an hour long car ride ahead of them, and he was going to let her decide if they were going to talk, or be seperate, in which case he would listen to music.

Beep! Beep! Beep! Lucinda groaned and rolled over pulling the pillow over her ear, in hopes to drown out the sound. Beep! Beep! Beep! It just kept getting louder. Sighing to removed the pillow and sat up in the bed. Quickly, she shut off the cursed alarm clock and took in her surroundings as her eyes adjusted to the light shining in her room. For a moment she forgot where she was, but then she remembered. Germany. Eltz Academy. Letter. It was coming back to her almost as if it was a bad dream. Unlike some freshman, she moved into her house early. It was to avoid the awkward goodbyes she would have to give her mother and father in front of the other people. They wouldn't understand.

Watching the time tick away on her clock she decided it was time to get up and attempt to get her day started. Lucy shuffled into the bathroom avoiding Lucky, her cat. She didn't want her feet to be all scratched up before she had the chance to get shoes on. After her personal business was complete she came back into her room to get dressed. It may not seem like it, but Lucy does like to dress nice. And it takes her just as long to get dressed as any other normal girl. Despite her need to break the code, Danielle would kill her. She was serious about the rules and that wasn't a voice she wanted to hear in the morning.

Lucy checked herself in the mirror and added her signature maroon beanie. Walking over to her night stand she pulled out a bottle that contained blue pills. Lucky mewed at her before she popped two in. Although these are supposed to help, she prays that she won't have to speak to anyone. She grabbed her phone and room keys before walking out into the hall. People were already mingling. Checking her phone for the time forced a sigh to escape her lips. It was too early in the morning for people to be striking up a conversation. What is there to talk about? Everyone just woke up. It's not like the sleeping position everyone was in is important.

Her stomach rumbled and she needed breakfast. For a strange reason her thoughts went out to Kian. He would surely bring her breakfast and keep her company until it was time to part ways. 'He is busy being head boy. Pick another person.' her thoughts told her. Quickly Jeremiah came to mind. She didn't know what he was doing, but he would surely get breakfast with her. But she decided against it and just started heading toward the cafeteria to get tea. If either of them wanted to talk to her right now, they would know how to find her. Follow the path of the maroon beanie.

OOC: I edited this. I forgot something important to my character that needed to be added.

Annabelle had a restless night like always. She lay awake in her bed for most of the night, on most nights like those she'd often be up and she'd be stretching her limbs, and doing some sort of pilates just to keep herself going and to hopefully tire herself out. Anna had a series of things she did during the nights to try and sleep. One of those was also reading and writing different things, and she practiced light forms of her power to try and drain some energy out of her but she was told before that, that it was quite dangerous to keep doing to herself. Finally four hours before she had to be woken up she had gotten into a pair of shorts and a baggy shirt, that had belonged to her boyfriend Robert. She always enjoyed wearing his clothes when she could and when she had the chance. She had't stolen this shirt from him, she just had one of them and she often loved his scent, and it'd flood into her nostrils helping her relax and be more calm. She grabbed her i-pod and then she pulled the covers back.

Annabelle slipped into her bed and then began to braid her hair loosely and tied it off at the end with an elastic. Laying back on her back, she pulled out her earbuds and she stuck one of them in her ear and she pressed play and a variety of soothing music that was light came filling in and she soon relaxed a lot to the state of her minimal rest. She closed her eyes and she rested there only thinking of pleasant things and her life back home in Florence, and all the smells and the people and the warmth, it was days like these where she missed home sometimes, but she had a great opportunity here and she couldn't waste it she had to go.

She had finally drifted off to sleep and she soon woke up at six fourteen am and she sighed softly. She didn't get nearly enough sleep but she'd live on with the day. She always did. She turned her i-pod off and she set it down on her night stand. Getting out of bed she soon began to make her way to the bathroom, and did her morning routine of, shower, brush teeth, dry off and pick out her clothes. You may think with the uniform and such she wouldn't have anything to choose from, but Annabelle was into fashion, she knew how to make things her own meanwhile staying within the dressing code rules. She picked out the black skirt with her black knee high socks to go with her nice black sparkles flats. As for the top she had her black vest that had some rhinestones added to it and she had light sparkles on it and not to mention the Charmante crest was on her vest as well. She also had her nice orange blouse top that was very pretty and had some style to it as well. As she got changed into these things she soon walked back to the bathroom.

Blow drying her hair and soon shortly straightening it, led to her putting her hair up in a half pony tail and using an orange bow beret to hold it together. She got her book bag and she slung it over her shoulder. Soon she began to do her make up with the concealer, foundation, and light eye shadow, and her winged eyeliner to top it off. She kept a simple and yet nice look to herself. She was told to meet Astrid and Kian outside of Astrid's door and that's where she was going. She would like to see Robert in the morning but she'd get to see him eventually anyways. She didn't see Astrid and Kian as much as she did Robert sometimes.

As she grabbed her keys she walked out of her room locking the door and she soon went walking around for a bit until she ended up finding Astrid's room and when she arrived it wasn't short after that Kian showed up. Soon they had Astrid and they were walking down the hall. They were off to orientation of course and upon getting there they saw Headmaster Ryan and a freshman girl with him. "Good morning Headmaster Ryan! and who might this young girl be? She's awfully cute." She said in her same old tone, and she kept things light and positive, just how any other day would go.

More freshman student were arriving now and it appeared that there were also a number of senior student coming to greet the new enrolments. A few greeted the headmaster. After weighing the benefits of having her arms free with the risk of leaving her property out in the open Alice quickly dumped her belongings against a wall in the stairwell where others had left their own luggage until they could be taken to their rooms. She returned to Mr Ryan as he was approached by some of the aforementioned senior students.

The headmaster introduced one girl, professional-looking and dark-haired, as Astrid Horn, head girl of Dreist House.

"Hello Headmaster Ryan. How are you?" This was a tall guy with some serious cheek bones, intoduced as Kian McKinley, head boy of Treu House.

The final student, a girl with long light gold-brown hair, was named Annabelle Watson, head girl of Charmante house. "Good morning Headmaster Ryan! and who might this young girl be? She's awfully cute."

"Ta. Your pretty easy on the eyes yourself yourself," Alice smirked, as the headmaster stepped away briefly. She was a bit thrown off by the flurry of introductions; but this is what she got for arriving early. Alice blamed the fact that the cheapest decent flight had just so happened to have also been an early morning one. Having spent her whole life in Britain, except taking a ferry across the channel on vacation, it had been her first plane flight.
"Alice Ender," she added, in answer to Annabelle's question, as Mr Ryan returned with the student who had arrived just after Alice, a red-headed girl with a small dog at her heels.

"Hello..." Alice peered over the red-head's shoulder at the name printed across the top of the enrolment papers she now held. "...Riley Ruth?" Nice to meet ya, Riles."

It was weird thinking that all these new people had powers just like her. Well, not exactly like her, because apparently people like them had all sorts of different powers. Life at this school was bound to be interesting she thought with vague amusement

Astrid let her eyes wander over her new freshman. She knew her students better than any head girl and Alice Ender was no exception to that.

Ender was a feisty one, she could tell. The spunky freshman girl eyed her right back, and that took some confidence; Astrid was always dressed to impress and intimidate. She would have to get to know Alice, some people came before duties.

"Well, Headmaster Ryan, Alice, I would love to stay and chat but my tummy wants to chat with my breakfast. The Driest tours start at 10 o' clock, sharp. Don't be late." With a flutter of her fingers, how she liked to wave, she, Kian, and Annabelle were off to breakfast.

The cafeteria was already packed with students. Astrid frowned with disdain.

"Anna B, is the coffee shop open?" Her voice wavered with discomfort. Astrid absolutely abhorred crowded, public areas and even places at Eltz were no exception. It always felt like someone was watching her, judging her, disliking her. Although she was cocky and competitive, she was competitive to have people like her. Having friends and making them happy meant that she was a good person, and that was always something she strived for; that seemed impossible with so many people around. She bit her lip and looked around. She was supposed to meet Tiff, but that wasn't an option.

Astrid didn't wait for an answer and headed toward the parking lot. Usually they biked, or rode in Robert's car, but she wasn't exactly sure what Robert was doing at this hour. Her father had sent her Mercedes-Benz SLS-Class Coupe. It was one of the many joys of being from a prominent, wealthy family.

She drove the trio out to the coffee shop, only to find it closed. Annabelle had warned her that it wouldn't be open. There was a little diner that had it's gaudy neon sign blinking "open". Astrid's lips curled in a smile.

"Bingo." Astrid clicked, turning into the parking lot.

(I apologize but this wil be a short post :/)

Annabelle listened to Astrid as she talked. She had taken not to the girl, who had been known as Alice and she meant to keep a mental note in her head. Eventually while it was all going on she felt her phone vibrate and she pulled it out and she looked at the text seeing that it was another good friend of hers known as Quinn. Her and him had been best friends since they were in the academy together and she rather enjoyed his company. She wished sometimes she could sneak away to visit with him, but Astrid was her best friend too. Sometimes Anna felt it was difficult to balance all her friends sometimes but she made sure she made time for each other them, especially Robert.

"Alrighty, I'll see you later, Quinny! :) With Astrid atm though~"

Annabelle sent to Quinn and she was happy, soon Astrid wanted to leave and she sighed, it was like her friend to want to leave, she suggested going to the coffee shop but Annabelle said it wasn't such a good idea considering that the shop might not be open and as they had gone out to Astrid's car and drove off Annabelle had been proven right. Luckily they had a back up plan and Anna followed Astrid's lead. "So how was everyone's sleep?" Anna asked both Kian and Astrid with a smile. There were only a couple people who knew about Annabelle's chronic insomnia. The teachers and the headmaster as it is their duty to know and it makes her school life easier, but they keep it secret. Then there was Quinn, Robert, and Astrid who knew, but Anna wasn't close enough with Kian to talk about it in front of him. Anna pulled out her phone again and began to send another text.

"Robby! You awake yet, darling? :) xox"

She sent the text to her boyfriend and she was hoping he'd be getting up soon. She was also very excited to getting to spend some more time with him later today. Anna had gone into day dream land for awhile but she knew shortly she'd be brought back to the world of reality, which was fine. Anna just needed something to do for the moment.[/size]

Kian could feel the buzzing nerves in the room; literally. The edges of his eyesight were tinted with a dark violet, and he could feel his palms getting a little sweaty and adrenaline kicking in. He went from standing calmly, looking composed to slightly bouncing one leg. He smiled to the girl, and many other's passing, most having at least a small purple tint. His attention was drawn back when Astrid spoke, and instantly, his hands went back to normal and he started to feel more at ease. Her confidence slightly countered the nervousness and when she started to walk, he followed, bobbing his head politely to the head master and a passing freshman.

Once arriving, however, he could tell Astrid wouldn't want to stay. Crowded places were not her happy space. His eyes found Lucy, and he could tell even from the distance she was uncomfortable. He would make sure to make plans with her for later, to calm her down.

"Sounds like a plan," he said, in regard to the coffee shop. He was more quiet than usual, his headache still pretty bad, and as they walked to Astrid's car he pulled a water bottle out of his backpack. It was filled with a clear liquid, but it wasn't water. He took two sips from it, big ones, then returned it to it's place in his backpack. He knew neither of the girls approved of his bad habits; hell, he didn't either, so he made sure not to let them smell what it was. In the car, he opened up a text to Lucy. Hey kiddo. Take it easy- Lunch? and sent it, pocketing his phone.

He wasn't necessarily upset that the coffee shop was closed, but he was pleased when they found the diner open. He grinned at Astrid, giving her a nudge before exiting the car. "Uh, fine," Kian muttered, flashbacks of his last few memories from last night hitting his head, though he didn't remember actually going to bed, for that matter.

Arriving at the diner door, he held it open for the two girls, entering after. It was seat yourself, and he chose a booth on the right. In sat on one side, the two girls taking the other. He couldn't help but grin. This was quite the perfect morning, with these two. Well, at least it seemed like it, what with his mind becoming slightly lofty and bubbly from the light buzz.

Astrid could smell it. Alcohol. She eyed Kian out of the corner of her eye, but wouldn't speak. She couldn't condemn him for her own sin.

Once they arrived, the three sat happily in a booth, Annabelle on one side, Astrid and Kian on the other. Normally, Astrid sat by herself, to talk to both of them face-to-face, but today she was especially tired and wanted someone to sleep on.

Just like in the movies, a girl in a poodle skirt and rollerskates pulled up to their table. She had bubblegum pink hair and neck tattooes. "Hey, I'm Carly, what can I get you guys?" She popped a bubble of gum as pink as her hair.

Astrid ordered a strawberry milkshake and a chicken tenders basket, then the others ordered. Once they were finished, she rolled away with the small list. Astrid sighed, letting her head rest against Kian's shoulder. "I hope Danny leads the tours today, I have such a horrible headache." She groaned.

They started to talk about meaningless things, mostly small talk, until the food arrived. They ate in mostly comfortable silence.

Annabelle started talking about something Astrid wasn't too interested, but pretended to be anyway, when something flickered in the corner of her eye. She set down the little fry and excused herself momentarily. She turned the corner towards the ladies' room, someone pushed her inside. The assaulter slammed her against the wall. "Never knew someone so dangerous could be pretty too." The man snarled, pinning her against the wall.

It was almost laughable that he was trying to intimidate her. She smirked but wouldn't let him see her afraid. No one would, no one could scare her. That's when he used his powers.

No one had ever used their powers on her. Just like that, there was an awful pain encompassing her body. His mouth covered her cries of agony. Just when the pain subsided, the man slammed his hand against her pounding head. "What do you want from me?" Astrid cried out, shrinking against the wall. He did it, she was officially scared of him. "Nothing, yet." He disappeared.

Astrid pulled out her book of Norse mythology and desperately searched for the god that healed. Fear Masking would have worked for that situation.

Finding Forseti, the god of justice, her power did the work and she returned to the table, albeit frazzled. She felt a little embarrassed at the fact that they were already finished. "Sorry, Anna B, Ki, I had a lot of spicy food last night." Her confidence returned, although still stunted, and remained quiet as she quickly finished her meal.

Annabelle, sat there, she was sitting alone today, sometimes she felt things more deeply than she wanted to but luckily she had her very positive demeanor to give her a smiley outlook all the time. Annabelle, had just really wished she could have stayed in bed a bit longer, despite her chronic insomnia, she wished she pretended to be ill and just had Robert take care of her instead. Annabelle, loved Astrid and all but sometimes Astrid was a bit much for how Annabelle liked to be. Sometimes the two of them had difficulty getting along, they were both so different, besides Astrid and Kian seemed to be just fine together and happy, Kian would have probably preferred for Anna to be back at school, she almost wishes it too. Annabelle ordered her food, a vanilla milkshake and a blueberry muffin. She wasn't too much in the mood for eating anyways. Soon an emotional wave hit Annabelle. She could feel her blood rush more, and she knew this was her aura mimicry hitting in. It was her most frequent used power, that would turn on and off by itself. Soon while Annabell had mentioned the whole sleeping bit, she could feel the emotions the other two felt, neither really cared so Annabelle just dropped her topic of conversation.

Soon she got a mixture of emotions running through her body, from the people in the diner. There was happy and bubbly ones, some excited, some in secrets, then there was a darker one lurking about and it set Annabelle on edge, but she decided to dismiss it and when the food came she tried to be more engulfed in that instead of anything else, she didn't like to dwell on things too much. She soon heard that Astrid was excusing herself, and she just went along with it, but Annabelle, wasn't sure what would happen, she didn't control whose emotions they mimicked to her anyways, but eventually she got a small wave of pain before her mimicry switched out and changed to the bored chef in the diner. He really hated his job and Annabelle felt bad for him, and soon it changed back to Astrid as she came back, and at that moment, despite the way Astrid was looking, Annabelle knew something was going on despite her little white lie, Anna was smarter than that, despite being naive to a lot of things, her aura mimicry never lied, and there was more Astrid wasn't sharing, as to what it was, Annabelle didn't know. Annabelle didn't like secrets to be kept from her, but if that was how it was to be then so be it.

Anna nodded to Astrid and for a bit she drank her milkshake a bit, and ate half her muffin. She left her muffin on the table and then she fished into her clutch and pulled out a bit of money and placed it on the table, "Here, this should pay for my food." Anna said giving the two a smile. "I don't feel too well so I should get some fresh air, maybe start walking back to the school and perhaps text Robert or Quinn for a ride if it is an absolute must, I just, it's too stuffy in here, I'm terribly sorry Astry and Kian. I hope you guys enjoy your morning though." She said with a cheery bright smile and then she took her milkshake and she got up out of the booth and she waved to them and walked out of the diner.

Stepping out into the fresh air she breathed in deeply. It was nice to be in the fresh open air, nature was beautiful and she hated to be cooped up inside, plus she needed to be away from all the insane amounts of people, they were making her power and emotions go out of whack, and the more that her power used up the more it wore her out, and even before she had just begun. She was already getting a piercing headache, and she was getting worn out and the day hardly started, this was the one power that ran free and she had no control over. Astrid was too shaken up to talk to, plus she hardly listened sometimes, not to say Anna didn't love her, just sometimes, Anna felt lonely despite being around her. She kept walking or quite a bit before she pulled her phone out, she was going to text Robert, she'd see Quinn later but right now all she wanted was to see Robert and just be wrapped up in his arms and have her headache go away.

"Robby, can you come and pick me up? I'll meet you at the coffee shop. :)"

She sent it and then she continued over to the coffee shop which wasn't too far away but walking distance it could be a bit far. Annabelle sat on the front steps, she knew nothing super bad could happen to her out here anyways, The owner who was her boss would be here in about fifteen minutes anyways and he'd open the shop, so worst case she could fend anyone off if she needed to.

Kian smiled lightly to himself, though he fought the urge to take out the water bottle again. He didn't want to drink now, at least not in front of these two. His order was simple, a burger and a water, as he decided not to eat too much. There'd been times were he was out with these two and had eaten four or five meals, before becoming violently ill. That happened last year, at least. He smiled at Astrid as she leant on him, wrapping his arm around her shoulders to make her more comfortable. As she spoke, his fingers subconsciously began twirling her hair. When the food arrived he pulled his arm away, beginning to dig it, but trying to remember not too eat to messily. It grossed the girls out.

Eyes flickering to Annabell, Kian downed the last of his water. At this point, his buzz was beginning to wear off. When Astrid stood up, his eyes followed her until she entered the bathroom, and they then found their way back to Annabell, a soft smile fitting onto his face. He heard her talking about sleep, but his mind started to drift as his headache found his way back into his mind. And damn, it hurt, the throbbing as his eyes got a little foggy, the light too bright. He was brought back into focus when he saw a dark flash of red, coming from the bathroom. He stood up quickly, but stayed in place as second later Astrid came out. Her face looked fine, and the color had subsided to her usual light pink glow. He sat down, tucking his hands in his lap, slightly embarrassed.

Kian was really surprised when Annabelle decided to leave, but he nodded, shooting her a comforting smile. He glanced at her money. If it was his choice, he'd pay for them all, but she was out the door before he could do anything about it. His attention turned to Astrid, the sight of her face making him forget about the previous emotional wave he'd felt from her, a smile falling on his face.

He waited for her to finish before speaking, ordering a large hot chocolate to go, and then pulling out his wallet. He knew Astrid wouldn't fight him for the rest of the bill, as she knew how much money his family had and that he wouldn't let her pay no matter what. Kian put the money on the table, picking up the hot chocolate with one hand and putting the other on Astrid's side, giving her a light squeeze to stand up, then holding the door open for her as they exited. It wasn't particularly warm outside, and as they walked he put his arm around her shoulders, pulling her into him. He shrugged off his urge to pull out a cig, turning his attention to Astrid. Gosh, she was so pretty.

Astrid watched with a blank stare as Kian paid for the check and they made their way out of the restaurant.

"Uh, Ki, I had a really good time, but I think we should head back." Astrid had never felt like this before; she was very uncomfortable and it made her want to melt into the ground.

It wasn't Kian, in fact, his arm around her made her stomach do somersaults. She led him back to the car, all she wanted to do was get into class so that she could get to Headmaster Ryan before independent study; he was the only one she could trust with the information. But he was probably busy, and she believed not thinking about it would help.

She drove quickly and mostly in silence. It was the only thing her ego would let her do. Once they were parked, Astrid bit her lip. "I'll see you later, Ki," She smiled, planting a quick kiss on his cheek, and hopped out her car. She whipped out her cell phone and found the one person that could get her mind off of things: Andrei.

To: Andy Stepanov
From: Star

Hey Andy, it's Star. You busy tonight? I still have some vodka left from last time.

Astrid turned on her heel and walked inside the school. It took her a few seconds to actually walk past Headmaster's office and into the cafeteria to find Tiffany. She found her in the tricking corner, where she was almost always at. "What are you planning, Tiff?" Astrid asked as she walked up next to the girl, hands crossed in front of her chest with a smirk.

Tiff was the girl Astrid went to when she wanted to get into a little trouble, and lately, since Annabelle and Robert had been spending a lot more time together, Astrid had been doing the same with Tiff and Kian.

Astrid joined her on the windowsill. "Tiff, if you had the choice between someone you really like and someone you have sex with, who would you choose?" Usually this was something she would do with Annabelle, considering she was more sensitive and knowing of romance; however, Annabelle was with Robert at the moment and she couldn't exactly own up to her feelings for Kian just yet. For the moment, she wanted to have fun and forget about her problems. That required the help of Tiff and Andrei.

She snapped off a quick text and in a few minutes, a scraggly, skinny kid gave her a skinny vanilla latte. "So, what's the plan, mi amiga?"

Kian could tell something was up with Astrid when he put his arm around her, her body stiff and not reacting, not leaning into him as she usually did. He pulled it away a few feet away from the car, making his way to the car in silence. He mood was effecting him, and as the car ride went on his emotion seemed to drain, and he felt uncomfortable. He'd never seen the aura color coming from Astrid before, so he had no idea what it meant, but he didn't like it. When she planted a kiss on his cheek, he hardly reacted, nodding his head in goodbye and exiting the car.

His body blindly led him toward the back of the school building. Kian came here to smoke last year, and though he'd been trying to break the habit, old habits die hard. Walking slowly and silently, he pulled his water bottle out of his bag, taking a few sips, then putting it back. His feet came to a stop when he reached the spot. It was likely the headmaster as well as most if not all of the professors knew he smoked on campus, but no body seemed to care too much. Maybe it was because they didn't know how to help him.

Lighting up a cig, he took a breath, slowly releasing the puff while closing his eyes. What did he do wrong? Being farther away had taken away most of the emotion he'd gotten from being with Astrid, and he was now able to think. What'd made her feel that way? "Damn it," he muttered, punching his hand hard against the wall, then just standing there as he kept puffing. As he finished his cig, now completely recovered from Astrid's emotional surge, he felt relaxed, from the combination of alcohol and nicotine in his body. He made his way back to his room, changing his clothes into a different uniform, applying cologne and brushing his teeth. He then made his way to the cafeteria.

His eyes found Lucy immediately, and after making a quick eye contact with her, he made her way towards her. He had said they were going to get lunch, but he assumed he wouldn't freak her out.

Quinn's eyes shut for a few seconds, taking a deep breathe to drive away the screaming pain, then opened his eyes again. They were planted on the chair, the now empty chair. Where had the girl gone? His eyes searched the room, sweeping left and right in shock, until they fell back upon her, now making her way toward him. As she arrived next to him, he saw her look him over, taking in his appearance, and he did the same. He cleared his face of the pained expression, and pushed on a bit of a smirk. Why had this girl taken in interest in the stranger who bumped into her chair?

He nodded slowly, taking in her concerned expression. Why was she so concerned? His eyes searched hers for some type of hint, but finding nothing. "I'm Quinn, and I'm fine," he said, but as he said this he could still feel the stinging pain of each mark. He'd have to change soon, or the wet marks on his back would become evident.

Tiffany let out a sigh as she stared at her notebook. No ideas were coming to her. It was so hard to find a decent prank that won't get her in trouble or killed. This is why she needed Astrid. She was good at coming up with things like that. She could pull a prank on Lucy, Her reaction in the end was always hilarious. But people liked her too much. They would be all over Tiffany. It was a huge mess that she didn't want to deal with at this current time. Annabelle was also fun to prank, but Astrid had a strict no-no on that one as well. Which didn't leave very many choices. When Astrid shows up she could as her.

"What are you planning, Tiff?" Speak of the devil Tiffany thought. She looked up at her friend. There was a devious smirk on her chest that made her very happy. It meant that Astrid was ready to plan a prank. "Nothing! I can't think of anyone decent to prank," Tiffany said shutting the notebook. They have practically pranked everyone and done every prank known to man. Coming up with a new one was going to be hard. Astrid took a spot near the windowsill just as Tiffany has done.

Then a thought came to her head. Freshman. It was always easy to prank the freshman. And they could do small simple things that won't cause too much damage. "Tiff, if you had the choice between someone you really like and someone you have sex with, who would you choose?" Tiffany raised and eyebrow up at Astrid. Where the hell did that question come from? she thought to herself. They didn't really have conversations like this, but Tiffany did have an answer. "Someone I like. The sex would be ten times better." she replied opening the trick not book back up. Now she had an idea of who she wanted to prank.

Some kid came over and gave Astrid a drink and it made her laugh. Astrid practically had the entire school wrapped around her tiny little finger. Except for Tiffany. They always had this mini battle of popularity. Neither of them will follow each other around like little lap dogs. But when they are together, they are force that shouldn't be reckoned with. "So, what's the plan, mi amiga?" her friend asked of her. "We prank all the new freshman. They won't see it coming and it is a great welcoming gift" she said with a smile. "I just don't know what the prank should be."

Jeremiah's attention was still on the other girls. Lucy wasn't jealous, she just wanted to get out of the cafeteria. Of course not being rude, she was going to let Jeremiah talk to the girls as long as he wants. It was a trait that Lucy wish she didn't have. If she was a rude bitch like most everyone already thinks she is, then Jeremiah and her would have already left the cafeteria. A sigh escaped her lips and she looked down at the ground as they spoke. Just then a guy crashed into one of the girls. It was Quinn. Head of her house. They didn't talk much, but it isn't like they would want to talk to each other. They could barely talk to other people. But now there was one girl left that needed to be gone. Just then her phone vibrated. It was from Kyle. Which is strange since Lucy was just thinking about him.

He was inviting her to dinner with him and his brother, Robert. And where Robert goes, Annabelle follows. So it was a dinner of four. Two people, Lucy cared about and one that Lucy won't even give a second thought too. Nothing could possibly go wrong. Except for everything. She sighed and send a reply back. She wasn't going to reject them. They were the closet thing to a 'family' that she could get. She was going to go to this dinner.

To:Kyle
From:Lucy
Dinner sounds good

The message sent and she pocketed the phone. Her entire day was booked up. Breakfast with Jeremiah. Lunch with Kian. Dinner with Kyle and Robert. Today she was miss popular. Wonder what Tiffany would have to day about that. she thought. She turned her head to look at Tiffany and saw that she was talking to Astrid. Her only friend. They were always plotting something. Many time Tiffany has tried pranking her, but it has ended badly for her. And now Lucy knows what their pranks look like. Turning her head back to Jeremiah she saw that he wasn't moving from his spot. And this other girl was going to continue talking to him. Just then she made eye contact with her other friend. Kian. Finally someone was coming to save her.

She stepped away from Jeremiah and started walking toward him. He was moving toward her as well and they eventually met in the middle. The automaton facade that she put up for the girls had gone away. Her bright green eyes had a bit of happiness and relief filled in it. Her thoughts were coming back in a random fashion and she didn't know how to handle her thoughts moving that fast. But she didn't let that show. She gave her friend a small smile. "Hey" she said simply. "We weren't supposed to meet until lunch," she joked.

A smile fit to Kian's mouth when him and Lucy made eye contact, and his walk sped up slightly as she met him halfway. He saw relief fill her eyes, and though he wanted to hug her, he didn't. Lucy didn't like a lot of the things he did, but that what made them such good friends. He chuckled lightly at her comment, tilting his head towards the door to signal her to start towards it.

"I guess I missed you, kiddo," he said, slipping his hands into his pocket and smiling as he used one the many nicknames he rotated on Lucy. He continued to walk at a steady pace, not really sure where he was taking her. They ddi that often, just roamed and hung out, because the two could go hours with nothing on mind and both have a good time. Kian mentally gave himself a slap across the face when they took a turn in the hallway, everything going blurry for a second. Lucy didn't like alcohol, and he knew that, and she didn't like cigs either, and he hated the fact that he did it.

But now, having just drunken and smoked, he felt especially bad about it. People, unless they were close to him, could never tell he did either. He was always so happy, so friendly, and people associated smoking and drinking with bad people, so it was always a shock when someone realized he had an issue. Then again, most people didn't realize it. Take Lucy, as far as Kian knew, she had no idea about his struggle with both addicting substances.

Kian came to a pause as he realized they were at his room. To someone else, this might look strange, a boy taking a girl to his dorm, but Lucy knew Kian wasn't trying to get with her. They often hung out in his room, since he had an impressive coffee machine, music collection, and book shelf. One time they'd sat in their for the majority of a weekend, ripping through a few books and a few too many pounds of coffee beans, and it was awesome. "It's kind of a mess," Kian muttered, nodding for Lucy to enter and turning on the coffee machine. He put out his arms and Max, his cat, leaped into them, leaning into him and instantly purring. He turned and looked at Lucy.

"How've you been?"

Quinn could see in the girls eyes that she was thinking, though about what, he couldn't tell. There was a certain glint to her eyes that told Quinn she was used to getting what she wanted, used to working things out no matter what it took. And it kind of scared him. He watched her, and when she spoke, his face stayed blank, however a single vein in his neck pulsed. His eyes slowly lifted from the ground to her eyes, looking to see her expression, but it didn't help with his confusion.

How did she know about his pain? And how much did she know? Did she know how he got it? How much it hurt? How his body was marred with traces of past injuries much worse? Without thinking, he grabbed her hand, pulling her quickly out to the hall with him, and around a corner to an empty dead end. He didn't say anything, pushing her softly against the wall in front of him, and putting an arm next to her head, hand against the wall, his face less than a foot away from hers as he looked her dead in the eye. "What do you know, and more importantly, what do you want?" He said, his voice it's usual emotionless, cold self.

The Russian had taken and scored over thirty shots before he noticed someone watching him. When he was on the field it was as if nothing else existed except him, the ball and the goal.

When Vas' eyes finally left the ball to see who was watching him he was in the middle of a shot and his accuracy suffered harshly. The ball after leaving his foot took a high arc and went wide of the goal. "Shit" he murmured under his breath as he jogged off the field and toward the bleacher where the ball had landed. As he approached the seat the man who had been watching him made his way over.

"Thats quite the leg you got their kid." Man said as he extended his hand.
"Thank you sir" Said Vas as he shook the man's hand firmly with a confused look on his face.
"Well look I don't want to take you way from your practice or anything but we're starting a youth soccer team in town, and I was wondering if you would stop by and show the kids a thing or two. They could learn a lot from someone as talented as you."
The man seemed sincere and slightly desperate
"I..I'd love too" A look of embarrassment on Vas' face was soon over taken by wide grin at the thought of being able to help kids pursue their passion for soccer.
"Great! thank you so much, We start practice today after the kids get out of school and we have it 3 times a week, hope to see you there!" The man walked away dialing a number into his cell phone to make a call as Vas finished collecting the ball which by now had rolled deep underneath the bleacher.

"Well at least i don't have to worry about finding something to do after class" He thought to himself still smiling.

The Russian had worked up quite the thirst during his work out and began to feel slightly dehydrated. So he made his way back inside in search of water and in the hopes of spreading his newly found good mood.

Soon after reentering the school Vas saw what he could only describe as an awkward situation. He noticed a girl was pinned against a wall by boy slightly shorten than himself and although they were close in face they didn't appear to be having a relationship moment, but then again Vas wasn't in the best position to judge so he simply decided to walk past the two with soccer ball in hand and continue on his way.

Once again Vassi found himself in the cafeteria only this time the sea of people was less dense and more people were seated with only and handful standing up. He immediately noticed someone he had seen from earlier, A girl in a red beanie with blonde hair, She seemed much more alive now then she had earlier in the day and he swore to himself that even saw her smile a little as she exited the cafeteria with a boy who was similar in height to himself. As she passed him they exchanged a smile and continued in their different directions.

He continued on his way to the vending machine with his track pants making a "swishing" noise with every step. when he finally reached the machine he stopped in front of it and starred at it with a puzzled look on his face. "Umm how do I get water out of this thing without breaking it" he pondered. It had been three years for him since he had used one of these and he wasn't quite sure what to do. As he looked around he noticed 5 people relatively near him, on one side it was the guy and the girl with the dog he walked past earlier this morning. They seemed to be enjoying each others company so he decide it was best not to bother them. On the other side of him were three girls one sitting by herself reading a book and the other two sitting by a window. Vas decided it would be these two he would ask for help not knowing any better.

"Excuse me could either of you ladies show me how to operate that machine over there" His Russian accent accidentally slipped through as he pointed to the vending machine with an embarrassed smile on his face his.

Lucy followed Kian out of the cafeteria. She felt a bit a bad for leaving Jeremiah, but he seemed okay with the orange haired girl. And she really needed to get out of the cafeteria. There was way too many people and Lucy was already having a bad start to her day. That last thing she needs to do is get sent to the office for hurting someone. That would be very bad for her and the person she hurts. Just for some reason the pill she took this morning wasn't working like it should. It was making her lose her mind and her her sense of what was real and what wasn't. She had seen her brother this morning and even though he is gone, she could still hear his giggling and random annoying questions. It was becoming a problem.

Without even realizing it, they had ended up in Kian's room. Now she understood why Tiffany thought she was a whore. There are multiple accounts where she would be caught entering or leaving the room of another male. Of course they weren't doing anything, but talking. Or in Andre's case, being told off. Lucy didn't really yell at him, she just wanted him to cease wit the flirting. It was driving her insane and she couldn't handle it. But with Jeremiah and Kian, they would just talk, or read, or listen to music, or sit in silence. When it came to Kyle and Robert, they were always talking. Lucy only really ever opens up to those two. They know the real Lucy. Even though they don't know what she did, they knew enough. That practically makes them family.

Kian's room was a bit of a mess, but it wasn't a big deal. Just small things that were out of order. Lucy could still see the floor which what truly mattered. Lucy gave what seemed like a smile when Max leaped into Kian's arms. Max reminded her of Lucky, her cat, and Lucy loved Lucky. She doesn't truly know why, but she does understand that there is some form of love there. Heading toward his bed, she starts to think about the question she just asked him. "How've you been?" Lucy can't answer that question because she doesn't know. She never knows and today hasn't been that great of a day. She wasn't going to give Kian the details. A sigh escaped her lips before she responded. "There have been better days. How have you been?" she replied.

At this point, Lucy hopes Kian starts talking and holding a conversation with himself. That is why Lucy even keeps him around. He doesn't ask much of her and doesn't expect much either. She could utter three words to him and he would be just as satisfied. Lucy just enjoys sitting, being silent, and letting him talk. It is easier then having to respond to whatever he says.

Kian knew, more or less, what Lucy's reply would be before she answered. It was always the same, but he continued to ask, hoping that one day she'd eventually have an answer somewhere along the lines of good. But until, this would do. Max snuggled into his chest, then caught sight of Lucy. He liked Lucy a lot, and the cat leaped from Kian's arms to the floor, walking to her. He slowly walked around her legs, purring loudly, causing a smile to erupt on Kian's lips, as he contemplated an answer to Lucy's question.

"I've been good," he said, pouring out two large cups of coffee. "Did I tell you about the new book I picked up two days ago?" Kian asked, making the coffee the way she liked it, and handing it to her. He hardly waited for an answer, only pausing long enough to take a few sips of the black coffee. "It's actually pretty cool." Kian sat down on the other side of his bed, leaning against the pillow, preparing for the long words he would soon say. This was the usual interactions between the two, Kian talking, telling a story, explaining something. Kian just talking about anything, and Lucy listening. And that was fine, Kian liked hanging out with her, but he knew they'd never become super close, because she'd never open up to him. But that was fine.

"It explains, in depth, the thought process of the man who created lie detectors..." And with that, he went on a near 20 minutes summary of the book.

When Lucy's hand was placed on his chest, he shivered slightly at her touch, and reluctantly leaned in more. He opened his eyes back to their normal size, and from this close, Lucy's eyes were bright and large. Their eye contact only lasted a few seconds, but it was pretty strong. And distracting. He was brought back into focus when she spoke.

Her words confused him, but that didn't matter. He chuckled, bitterly, breathing heavy after her first words.

When the pain decreased, his eyes opened wide, catching Alice's face fall into a pit of pain, her breath hitching. Her hand was clutched onto the front of his sweater, but he was now able to stand straighter, but he kept his arm close to her. When she leaned her head back, his pain still highly evident in his body, but not nearly as bad as it had been, he put his right arm under her elbow, supporting her more. "I'll be fine," he said, watching her reactions closely. It was weird, being this close to someone he didn't know at all. But it wasn't bad. His breath calmed to an even pace, their eyes connecting again. "It's not that bad," he said, thinking that compared to a few of his past injuries, it was fine.

But even as he said that, he could feel the wet, bloody sweater now sticking to his back. He needed to change, soon, or else it might start to drip. He connected his eyes with her, letting her decide where to go.

Tiffany love Astrid with to the full extent of whatever she believes about love, but when it came to popularity, they became instant rivals that it was almost funny. A new guy walked back asking them for assistance and it was like Astrid completely forgot that Tiffany was sitting next to her. Plotting the evil things they were going to do to freshman. Tiffany smirked to herself and stood up with the two others.

"Astrid,"
"Vassi, nice to meet you"

"I'm Tiffany," she attempts to pitch in, but it seems that Astrid has the boy's full attention, so she waits for an opportunity to go in and steal him away. Not that she wanted him. Although he was very cute. A complexion the resembled her own. Pearly whites and tall. All the things Tiffany finds attractive. "I suppose you're new here, considering I've never seen you before." Sounds like flirting, but Tiffany knew Astrid. Astrid just wants her popularity to be known and to do that, she gets people to like her. Yea, you could say that, you are the second person I've met all day." 'Guess that makes me third..' she thinks to herself. But he wasn't paying attention to her. "Thank you for this by the way, it was really nice of you to help me, I guess I kinda owe you a favor now."

Tiffany had to refrain from rolling her eyes. She sat back down at the table pretending as if she never saw the two. She would ge t her chance to speak to him and win the spotlight, but not while Astrid was present. She was way too fast and Tiffany liked to work slow. So she sits there and waits.

Lucy didn't speak for the entire twenty minutes that Kian was talking about the book. She petted the cat that was occupying her lap. This was a regular thing. Kian has a conversation with himself while she keeps the cat company. It was a nice deal. They could be alone without feeling lonely. Lucy liked it and it seemed that Kian did too since he was always initiated that times they would hang out. Eventually he stopped talking, ending his explanation. She processed everything that he was saying and then nodded to signal that she understood everything she said. Which she did.

For a moment they sat in silence as Lucy tried to come up with a response. Talking to Kian wasn't easy. He always had stories to tell and interesting things to say, but when it was Lucy's turn she didn't even come close. Which is another reason why she just listens. Interacting with other people wasn't always her thing. She enjoyed the background. It was comfortable. Easier to cope with. She was able to hide her demons in there. Where no one would try and look for them. 'What was I just thinking about....dang it..' she reprimands to herself. Her runaway thoughts always get the best of her in the worse situation.

She sipped her coffee. Lucy was more of a tea gal, but she enjoyed to occasional cup that she happens to only drink around Kian. "What other interesting things have you done recently?" I offer. Maybe that will spark up another lecture. Or result in her having to give out details of her life. She doesn't do that. Or at least doesn't plan too. Her cellphone goes off and she checks it quickly. It's from Kyle. She starts a message.
To: Kyle
From: Lucy
Sure. And Robert will grow up eventually

The message was sent and I started to compose another. To Robert.
To: Robert
From:Lucy
Eat Breakfast.

The message was short. Simple. And gets to the point. No need for a hello. Robert knew me better than that. Finally done with the cellular device, Lucy puts it in her pocket and directs her attention back to Kian.

Kian watched Lucy. He understood her, probably not as well as he thought, but more than she thought he did. His eyes skimmed over her, over the emotions slightly evident in her face as she processed his words, searching for a reply. He watched her sip the coffee, her mind fluttering behind her eyes. He chuckled lightly at her words. Lucy didn't like talking about herself, he got that. But it's not like he did anything interesting in his life. Kian's mouth opened, words ready to come out, when Lucy's phone chimed.

Talking the opportunity, he slid his out to check the time. Fuck, he thought, realizing he was meant to be greeting freshmen. Then again, his mind was still buzzed and there was no way he should be around freshmen in this state. When Lucy placed her phone down, his attention returned to her.

"You can go if you need to," he said, his tone soft and friendly, not giving off whatever feelings he had. "I don't want to keep you."

He smirked lightly when she mentioned it being from a fight, but said nothing. He often forgot other people weren't accustomed to pain from their father. Quinn's eyes followed Alice's and he saw hers flick to his lips, a mild blush heating his cheeks, that he quickly pushed down. Not the time, or the place.

He sighed at her final words, pausing for a few seconds to think. He needed to change, that was for sure. So to his room it was.

Still holding Alice's elbow, Quinn redirected her toward the direction of his room, then broke the physical contact between them. "You can help me wash my back. And put on like bandaids." He said, walking at a brisk pace and knowing she would follow. He remained silent for the rest of the walk, opening his door when they came to it. It wasn't messy, at all, considering he'd just gotten here. But his stuff was unpacked, and everything was in place. Quinn turned to Alice, as if to ask, 'how do we do this,' but instead, just took off his shirt. "Remember, you asked," he muttered, keeping his back away from her. But even on his front, there were countless scars, the biggest from when he'd had an operation to fix three ribs that had been shattered, but many others. Holding his sweater in his hand, he could feel the back damp with blood.

"It's bad." And with that, he turned around.

"You can go if you need to," Lucy was confused. What was he talking about? Go where? she thought to herself. "I don't want to keep you." But he wasn't keeping her. She was willing sitting here trying to engage in some kind of conversation. Of course she was failing miserably due to the fact that she can't talk to people. It could be the fact that she was on her phone. That was a bit rude, but she was talking to Kyle. Despite all these other people, she cared about him the most. And then of course Robert. He was number two. "I don't have anywhere to go" she said simply. It was true.

Outside the door of Kian's room, people were bustling about. It was pretty loud. Lucy checked the time and sighed. Yay. Class time. she thought to herself. "We have to go to class." she said dreadfully. Sometimes Lucy didn't enjoy classes. Listening to other people. Being in the same room as people she hates. And not being able to do what she wants. Confined within four walls. It was terrible. Of course the lessons were fine, she just didn't want to deal with the people. Lucy petted the kitten that still occupied her lap before moving it gently.

Lucy stood up and removed her beanie from her head. She ran her fingers through her hair and put the beanie back on. She looked to Kian. "Come on" she said urging him to get up. Moving to the door, she pulled it open waiting for her friend before leaving.
