The ability to alter Objects, by enforcing his will on all three parts of an element, protons, neutrons or electrons. The most dangerous form of his ability is being able to split Atoms at will, releasing chaotic explosive energy.
Limitation: Vas is Atomically unstable, and capable of causing a nuclear explosion upon death.
*Using his powers on living beings more than likely with give them cancer or some other form of radiation sickness.
(unless the person already has cancer then theres a chance he could cure them.)

A slender athletically built 18 year old standing at 6'2". His eyes change between a light green and light blue. His skin is a shade of light caramel, and his hair resembles curly brown sheep's wool when its not cut. He has exceptionally built legs, and has built his arms and chest to a nice definition due to his brother's weekly sambo wrestling training sessions. Vas lacks the devotion to anything physical or superficial except clothing and tends to go months at a time without even trimming his hair down although facial hair does not seem to be to big of a problem. His apparel is of an exceptionally high class due to his upbringing in Russian upperclass society. Due to this his taste in apparel is engraved into his subconscious but he holds no value in the clothing itself only its quality.

Vas does not sustain scars and is unable to obtain tattoos or piercings due to his power, his body heals rapidly if altered from a healthy state.

History: Vassi Yuriiovitch Novikov ,born to Yurrii Novikov, and Viktoriya Novikov in the city of Izhevsk, Russia. Vassi (Vas for short) was gifted in soccer even at a young age, and he obtained his first soccer ball at 3 years old and for hours he would run in the back yard of his parents Mansion dribbling and shooting at the make-shift goal made by the butler Ivan. Vas was closer to Ivan than he was to his mother and father who were world class weapons scientist. Ivan watched over Vas and his older brother Roman when the Mister, and Misses were away at work.
Vas grew up with special benifits due to his mother and fathers lucrative field of work. He was able to pursue his dream of becoming a professional soccer player in abnormal ways such as practicing in actual soccer stadiums rented out for hours on end using his parents money, and also having access to state of the art training facilities. On Vas's 16 birthday which was also the day of the Russian National Team tryouts Vas was called by his parents to come to the Lab. This being the first time ever being invited Vas was ecstatic. His parents then proceed to do Atomic reconstruction, and manipulation test on his body constantly pulling on his atoms while also secretly giving him the ability to force his will over the atomic structure of objects, this spans from allowing him to combine two objects together by there atoms, to forming new elements by rearrange their atoms, or simply splitting a single atom to release large amounts of chaotic energy.
Vas and his brother were cast off by their parents and forced to live in seclusion with their butler Ivan. Vas fears his powers because he does not completely understand them but as his knowledge of chemical and atomic compositions grow so do the horizons of his abilities. While living in a secluded part of Russia Vas and his brother were experimenting with their powers in an attempt to master them, and Roman learned of his own ability to create cross dimensional tears. Unfortunately Roman's ability was not well controlled which led to the brothers spending 3 years in an alternate dimension. (1 earth year)
During these years they both learned how to protect themselves and adapt their powers to their needs but the more Roman used his powers the worse the effect it took on his health until finally Roman opened another tear back to the earth of their original dimension. This effort was roman's last as his body was lost in the rift he created in order for his younger brother Vas to survive.
Vas returned through the rift dimensionally sick, dazed, and confused in Germany not to far from the Eltz Academy and thus begins this chapter of his life...

Pets: None

Theme Song:
"Urn" -Childish Gambino
I watch them all pass by
The moon & the stars
Let me hold you in my arms, forever more
These cold nights, the park is ours
Standing, by the side
Let you go, oh to the sea, just for me

Don't let me lose my life
Keep holding on
Let the modest go
As my mic goes to and fro
Waking up for one more show

We see him in the night
Tell him I'm not afraid of him
I'm not afraid of them
Cause I won't know.

Anything Else: Ivan, Vas' and Romans' butler saved all of his wealth and split it between Vas and his brother in his
will leaving them enough money to live well off into they're late 20's early 30's

It all seemed surreal just the other day he woke up under a tree suffering from dimensional sickness and just having lost his only friend, and brother. Today Vas was ironing his shirt for his first day school in 3 years... or was it 1 year... the fabric of time and space has been ripped just for him to arrive here and only through his brother sacrifice did he make it. The painful memories still fresh on his mind along the urge to curl into the fetal position around his toilet and vomit still plagued him, but he was not about to waste the opportunity given to him by being allowed to attend this academy.

Vas knew that this place was home to people like him, people with abilities beyond their control, and he also knew that everyone here was invited, something he was not. Only by the grace and generosity of the headmaster was he allowed to live and study here, for if not here he would have no place to go.

After putting the finishing touches to his smooth crimson colored collard shirt he gently slid both arms into their respective places being carful not to cause any wrinkles as he tucked the tail into his slacks, then to finish off his attire Vas reached into his closet and removed a grey cotton sweater vest from its hanger and after sliding it over his head and arms he looked into the mirror to inspect himself. "Presentable" he whispered to himself before grabbing his satchel and journal from his desk.

Day 1: Today I start here at Eltz Academy in Moselle valley, Germany. I haven't seen earth people in 3 years and...

Vas stopped writing to contemplate his word choice and after taking ten seconds or so he scratched out the word earth with a single line.

...and I hope today is a good day but for now I'm just incredibly hungry and I wonder if they have soy milk and cereal here.
retracting his pen almost in unison with the growling of his stomach he placed his journal into his satchel and exited his room locking up after himself.

Vas made his way through the hallways of the academy passing by a large crowd of people standing outside what seemed to be the office and witnessing the interaction between a striking young woman with short brown hair and what appeared to be her good friend, a younger looking irishman. Feeling the emotions of sorrow and loneliness begin to creep up on him Vas paid no further attention to the two except to take a second look at the girl, and with that done he continued on in the direction of his nose.

after taking a few wrong turns further down the hallway he witnessed another interaction between two people, a boy and and a girl with a small dog. At this point Vas was just taking in the atmosphere of the castle and people watching but his stomach made another desperate cry for food "Alright I hear you, calm yourself" he said quietly as he continued walking now holding his stomach.

Finally Vas arrived to the cafeteria where he laid his eyes immediately on the fresh fruits, muffins, teas.... but most importantly to him the cereal and milk station. He immediately rushed over and attempting to not draw attention to himself , he prepared two large bowls of cereal and proceeded to drown them in soy milk. After placing his bowls down he went back to grab him a spoon, a blend of breakfast tea and four packets of honey. It was now time to feast and after a quick blessing of gratitude that is exactly what Vas did.
It appeared as if he was enjoying a delicacy and to him, he was. "Three years without you, never again he thought to himself as spoonful by spoonful seemed to disappear.

Halfway through the second bowl Vas looked up and noticed his table wasn't unoccupied two girls that appeared to be around his age were also at this table and had begun what seemed like a conversation just a few seats away. One seemed happy and alive and the other haunted and slightly disturbed but it was none of his business and plus he still had a bowl to finish...

Daniellle nodded as the girl worked out the word "Space" she grabbed a napkin and a pen and wrote her cell phone down and slid it to her. "if you need anything and I mean anything call me and I'l be there" she said as she stood up and began walking towards the door of the cafeteria. Her mind began to wander thinking about ways she could help Lucy while at the same time blaming herself for talking to her so early in the day. In her mind she should have known to give Lucy some time before talking to her this had all been explained to her when she came into the house for the first time. Lost in her thought she didn't notice Vas and walked right into him knocking her down.

Vas had finished both bowls of cereal and was now enjoying his breakfast tea when suddenly the force of another person walking into him sent his tea spilling all over the table, he had managed to get up and avoid getting the hot liquid on himself but then he noticed a girl with died hair and captivating eyes laying on the floor apparently from the impact. "Oh no are you okay?" he said sincerely with his Russian ascent as he knelt down to help her up off the ground.

"You're not hurt are you?" Vas questioned looking into her soft hazel eyes for a response.

Danielle stood up checking to see if her coffee had spilt on her shirt luckily it hadn't gotten on her that would have 1 been painful due to the hot coffee, and 2 a pain in the rear because she would have had to change her clothes. "you're not hurt are you?". "yeah I'm fine" she said standing up and picking up her coffee cup sighing. "I'm really sorry I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing" she said. She looked the guy up and down he was cute that's for sure "put you're guard up Danielle you don't know this guy" She thought to herself as she sat down at the nearby table looking at the guy she just ran into.

"yeah I'm fine" the young woman said after checking herself for stains. "I'm really sorry I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing" Vas watched as she looked him up and down and felt a heat of embarrassment begin to come over him.
"Well I'm glad your alright, and we both managed to avoid getting anything on us." he said looking down and away showing a slight smile before he walked to grab napkins to clean up the mess on the table caused by his tea.

Vas finished wiping the table and it appeared to be cleaner than had been before he sat there even managing to clean the run off that had made its way to the girl in the beanie. "Sorry for the mess" he said softly before leaving to fill back up his mug.

Now back in his seat he took a sip of his fresh tea and reached into his satchel for his journal and opened it back to the page he had been working on early.

Day 1: Today I start here at Eltz Academy in Moselle valley, Germany. I haven't seen people in 3 years and I hope today is a good day but for now I'm just incredibly hungry and I wonder if they have soy milk and cereal here. The food was heavenly I cant believe I missed cereal so much, but i guess thats what being lost in dimension will do to you. Also the dimensional sickness seems to be fading now that I've eaten. *Side Note: This girl with died hair and lovely eyes ran into during breakfast and I believe she's still looking at me, maybe I should go talk to her, thats what Roman would want...

Closing his journal and returning it back to his satchel Vas stood up and walked over to the girl with his hand in his pockets showing how uncomfortable he was. "Um I'm a new student and I haven't been here long could you perhaps show me around, I don't mean to intrude on your morning or anything." He paused for a response before his shyness kicked into full gear and he started to back up in retreat.

Danielle watched as the guy cleaned up the coffee watching him as he did so. She decided to to throw her paper cup in the garbage while he cleaned. As she walked back she watched him as he seemed to write in his journal. She kept reminding herself to keep her guard up when he said "Um I'm a new student and I haven't been here long could you perhaps show me around, I don't mean to intrude on your morning or anything." This caught Danielle off guard "oh uhm yeah I can do that I mean its not like I really had anything planned this morning" she said as she stood up and grabbed another cup and filled it with coffee. "don't worry I won't spill it again" she said as she stared at the liqud for a second to heat it up a couple degrees before taking a sip.

"oh uhm yeah I can do that I mean its not like I really had anything planned this morning" the girl answered as she stood up and grabbed another cup and filled it with coffee. "don't worry I won't spill it again" she said
"Lets hope not" he said quietly as he looked down and smiled from humor. With one eye he noticed the girl focusing unusually hard on her cup before drinking it. "Excuse my rudeness I'm Vassi Novikov, its nice to meet you miss?" after Danielle shared her name with Vas the two began to roam the halls with her leading the way.

As the two walked the silence began to grow more and more uncomfortable, so Vas decided to break the silence with a question "Soo what did you do to your coffee back there in the cafeteria, I noticed you staring at your cup, or did it just look funny" He let out a small laugh and instead of looking away like he usually would he looked at the girl to see if she found his joke even remotely funny.

Danielle took a sip of her coffee as they walked along "Soo what did you do to your coffee back there in the cafeteria, I noticed you staring at your cup, or did it just look funny." Danielle gave him a funny look for a minute as if she didn't know what he was talking about then after a second she smiled. "no nothing wrong with my coffee my power is Scald Generation and it lets me heat up liquids and I like my coffee very hot so I use the power to my advantage, which is why my soup never gets cold and when I make coffee its always the best" She said looking at him. "how about you? you must have a power since you're here at Eltz" She said taking another drink and looking at him.

"no nothing's wrong with my coffee my power is Scald Generation and it lets me heat up liquids and I like my coffee very hot so I use the power to my advantage, which is why my soup never gets cold and when I make coffee its always the best" "I bet she makes some great tea as well" he thought to himself. "how about you? you must have a power since you're here at Eltz" She said taking another drink and looking at him.

Vas took moment to try and think of a explanation of his power without sounding like the complete chemistry geek even though he was.
"Uhmm well I can force my will upon atoms and electrons , so basically manipulate anything at the atomic level...." Obviously trying not to sound like the geek failed "Maybe I should just show you" he said with a smile

Taking out a solid unsharpened wooden pencil from his satchel Vas removed the eraser and metal eraser holder, placing the simple wooden rod between his two index fingers "Now watch carefully" with his eyes closed he focused on the interior structure of the wooden pencil and not its exterior appearance. Through his study of chemistry Vas knew that wood is mostly cellulose and cellulose has the chemical composition of CH2O, so by removing all the hydrogen and oxygen molecules from the wood and replacing them with carbon which he gathered from the air around in his zen like meditation the edges of the pencil started to turn a shimmery gray color instead of their original wooden brown color, and as the discoloration started it took less than 4 seconds for the once brown pencil to turn completely into a carbon rod, but he wasn't finished yet still focusing Vas started to steal protons from the air around and began to fuse large sums of these protons with the molecules of carbon essential choosing to transmuting the carbon rod into a silver rod, and finally into a solid gold rod with the same length and diameter as the original pencil.
(OOC: this is probably the only time i will do the full explanation.)
(I just want everyone to understand whats going on when Vas uses his powers)

Danielle listened to him explain him powers but she just gave him a confused look. Then when he pulled out a pencil and tookt the top off it and he stared at it concentrating similar to when she stared at liquids to heat them up. Danielle then watched as the pencil went from wood to metal, and then to silver and then finally she stood shocked as he showed her the solid gold pencil. "wow thats amazing with a power like that you must have all the money you could ever need" she said as took the pencil and weighed it in her hand. It was heavier than before not a huge surprise since gold was in fact very heavy and dense. She handed the pencil back to him. "That is a really cool power it makes my power look really lame" she said looking at him with a small smile.

Looking down in shame Vas ran his hand through his short curly brown hair "I lost everything for this power" he said after a brief hesitation. "Ive said to much and I need more tea..." he looked down and placed his hand over his mug, he didn't mean to lie to his new friend but the anxiety of remembering his past and more specifically how his parents used him as a lab rat was beginning to torture him and he was afraid he would have to delve deeper into his past. "It was nice meeting you Danielle, and id like you to keep this" He said as he tossed the golden rod back to her and began to walk back the direction they came from. "Im sorry Roman I'm not ready." he thought to himself with his head down.

He returned to the cafeteria moments later only to find it filled with students "Just my luck, now everyone wants breakfast" he thought to himself after taking a sip from his mug. His eyes searched through the sea of people for where he could grab a quick snack and refill his mug in an attempt to not feel as bad for lying, and as his eyes searched he found the line. Not having a car or knowing his way around town he decided just to wait it out and endure submerging himself in the crowd, hopefully he would be able to blend in.

While in line Vassi found himself behind the short haired girl from earlier. This time she was by herself and he noticed the height difference between them. It was astounding but it didn't bother him or change his opinion on how stunning she was to him. He stood back to allow her to have some space in the other wise crowded environment and waited for the line to move forward.

When she got in line, she kept her eyes down and made sure to get what she needed without bumping into anyone. Around her small group of friends, she was fine but around large groups of people and strangers, she just became a different person. She looked down at her feet before feeling a force accidentally push her back into the person behind her. Without even looking back, she could tell he was much taller than her. She offered a soft smile towards the girl in front of her when she apologized. She looked behind her to see the man towering over her, she was already nervous but when she saw his eyes, she just forgot what she was going to say. "I--um..--I. Sorry." She turned back around and tried her best to keep herself from getting red. She quickly made her way through the line trying not to make a bigger fool of herself. She walked towards Jimmy, only taking a second glace towards Vassi before turning her attention towards her best friend. "God, Jamie. I'm a complete idiot."

As they made their way out of the busy cafeteria, Ellie looked towards Jimmy. "When am I ever busy, Ellie?" She shrugged. "I don't know. For all I know, maybe you finally asked that girl you're crazy about on a date. Miracles happen after all." She said in sarcasm with a playful smile on her pale face. As they say down, she handed him one of the cookies she grabbed as she took off her bag and put it to her side. "What movie did you have in mind?"

Once more she shrugged before taking a bite. "I'm not sure, just not romance because the last time I watched a romance with you, I fell asleep on your bed. And that's not good." She honestly didn't mind, she was comfortable around Jimmy so it didn't really matter to her. She just knew it was awkward for him. "I got a few new movies online, we can have just a huge marathon of comedies, and sci-fi, and stuff. It'll be awesome, I swear." Ellie said before taking a sip of her tea. She watched Jimmy slip on his glasses before pouting and tilting her head a bit. "Jamie? You okay? You want to go inside or something?"

As Vassi was about to take a sip from his cup the line suddenly shifted backwards due to a girl cutting the line to join her friend ahead. The domino affect of this caused the person in front of Eleanor to stumble backward and forced her to collide with Vas consequently spilling the warm liquid onto his grey sweater.

Embarrassment radiated from his face as his cheeks turned a pale shade of red "Please don't turn around and see this" was his thought right before the young woman began to turn around to offer her apology, and as she turned she was forced to look up due to the difference in height but as for if she had seen the stain he was unsure. He could see that she nervous but as her eyes connected with his eyes, it was as if she just forgot what she was going to say and the same affect left Vas speechless with his jaw slightly dropped. "I--um..--I. Sorry." She murmured before quickly turning back around as if to try and hide her reaction. Almost in a petrified state he could only watch as she quickly made her way through the line and disappeared into the sea of people.

Vas now had two problems on his mind, he was now stuck in a crowd of people with an impending stain on his clothing, and he didn't get the girls name. Unsure of if he would see her again due to the fact that more and more students continued to pour through the doors of the academy, he was sure of one thing, he wanted them to cross paths again but hopefully under better circumstances.

Finally making it through the line himself Vas grabbed a cranberry scone and refilled his tea in the hopes to make it through the crowd of students without being labeled the clumsy guy with the stain on his shirt or any form of worse ridicule. Coming up with a plan he wrapped his snack in a napkin and placed into his satchel, he then pulled the satchel close to his chest to conceal the stain underneath until he exited the cafeteria and had reached his hall.

Once inside of his room Vas removed the soiled Sweater and the partially soiled collard shirt underneath. "Great job Vassi you managed to mess up your clothes and bump into two girls all before breakfast was over, you klutz." he thought to himself as he fell backwards into his bed and closed his eyes attempting to drift into his happy place.

The lights of the stadium were blinding but the cheer of the crowd made the Russian's heart race with excitement. Thousands of fans all cried his name with joy and support as he stepped onto the pitch. Today was THE day, the opening game of the season for the Russian national football team and with a wide smile Vas held his hand over his heart for the national anthem, but the joy he was experiencing soon turned into fear as two shadowy figures in lab coats (a man and a women) dragged him off the field. He could only watch as the lights of the stadium began to dim and the doors to the field slammed shut leaving him only in darkness at first. The darkness was gone in a flash but he found himself bound by his arms and legs in a tank filled with a green liquid with a breathing device and all manner of vital monitoring wires hanging from his naked body. He thrashed as he tired to break free but it was too late the machine was already whirring to life as the liquid began to to bubble violently. Atom by atom of the young mans body felt as if it were being viciously pulled apart, compressed together, and broken up all at once. The pain was excruciating and instead of thrashing in protest to be set free he now found himself wanting to give up on life all together. As his vision faded back into black his last visual images were that of the shadowy figures smiling and taking notes on their experimentation.

With a large gasp of air Vassi arose from his bed and into a sitting positing with a look of pure terror on his face, hands holding onto his head, and sweat droplets dripping down his nude torso. After the deep breathing subsided and he was no longer paralyzed from terror Vas reached into his Satchel to pull out his journal and continued to write.

Day 1: Today I start here at Eltz Academy in Moselle valley, Germany. I haven't seen people in 3 years and I hope today is a good day but for now I'm just incredibly hungry and I wonder if they have soy milk and cereal here. After eating I have to say the food was heavenly I cant believe I missed cereal so much, but I guess thats what being lost in dimension will do to you. Also the dimensional sickness seems to be fading now that I've eaten. *Side Note: This girl with died hair and lovely eyes ran into during breakfast and I believe she's still looking at me, maybe I should go talk to her, thats what Roman would want. After talking to her I found out her name was Danielle and she has the power rapidly adjust the temperature of water, much like my ability to heat and cool objects by vibrating their atoms but while I can only do this by touch she can do it with sight. It was quite the spectacle to see someone else's powers and in return I showed her my pencil transmutation trick, she seemed impressed but after she made the notion that having my powers was a good thing the memories of how I got them began to knock at mind and I knew at that point I would not be able to continue normal conversation so I made my exit back to the cafeteria for a refill of tea and a snack...

Remembering he had the cranberry scone still in his bag he reached in unwrapping it from the napkin and took a small bite savoring the flavor. "Ive missed this dimensions food so much" he thought. Taking another bite Vas switched hands and continued to write.

... while in line I had the pleasure of standing behind a girl I had previously seen this morning, she's quite short and accidentally bumped into me causing me to spill what was left of my tea on myself but when our eyes met I couldn't say anything... I was stuck in that moment of time until she apologized and continued through the line and even then I found myself admiring her until she disappeared into the dense crowd of students. I wish I knew her name but for now the chance to have been in contact with her is nice enough. Due to the spill on my shirt I decided to comeback to my room and take a nap, but I had the dream again, the dream of mom and dad...

Unable to write more Vas closed his journal and as he did a small tear fell onto the leather binding but always being told to fight weakness by his older brother he wiped his eyes and looked at the alarm clock that sat next to his bed. The morning was still young so he began to undress himself in order to change into his exercise clothes. "The soccer fields not to far from here maybe a little play time will clear my head" and with that thought he bolted out the door leaving most of his belongs, all except his key and watch.

After a light warm up jog and a quick stop at the gym for a soccer ball Vas was on the field practicing his footwork up and down the pitch and after running the length of the field twice he would end his routine with a trick shot on goal. His favorite trick was a rainbow flick over his head followed by a half volley which usually ended up sinking into the top left or right hand corners of the goal. Each time the ball flew into the goal Vas would grab it and celebrate as if he just made the goal winning shot of the world cup.

The Russian had taken and scored over thirty shots before he noticed someone watching him. When he was on the field it was as if nothing else existed except him, the ball and the goal.

When Vas' eyes finally left the ball to see who was watching him he was in the middle of a shot and his accuracy suffered harshly. The ball after leaving his foot took a high arc and went wide of the goal. "Shit" he murmured under his breath as he jogged off the field and toward the bleacher where the ball had landed. As he approached the seat the man who had been watching him made his way over.

"Thats quite the leg you got their kid." Man said as he extended his hand.
"Thank you sir" Said Vas as he shook the man's hand firmly with a confused look on his face.
"Well look I don't want to take you way from your practice or anything but we're starting a youth soccer team in town, and I was wondering if you would stop by and show the kids a thing or two. They could learn a lot from someone as talented as you."
The man seemed sincere and slightly desperate
"I..I'd love too" A look of embarrassment on Vas' face was soon over taken by wide grin at the thought of being able to help kids pursue their passion for soccer.
"Great! thank you so much, We start practice today after the kids get out of school and we have it 3 times a week, hope to see you there!" The man walked away dialing a number into his cell phone to make a call as Vas finished collecting the ball which by now had rolled deep underneath the bleacher.

"Well at least i don't have to worry about finding something to do after class" He thought to himself still smiling.

The Russian had worked up quite the thirst during his work out and began to feel slightly dehydrated. So he made his way back inside in search of water and in the hopes of spreading his newly found good mood.

Soon after reentering the school Vas saw what he could only describe as an awkward situation. He noticed a girl was pinned against a wall by boy slightly shorten than himself and although they were close in face they didn't appear to be having a relationship moment, but then again Vas wasn't in the best position to judge so he simply decided to walk past the two with soccer ball in hand and continue on his way.

Once again Vassi found himself in the cafeteria only this time the sea of people was less dense and more people were seated with only and handful standing up. He immediately noticed someone he had seen from earlier, A girl in a red beanie with blonde hair, She seemed much more alive now then she had earlier in the day and he swore to himself that even saw her smile a little as she exited the cafeteria with a boy who was similar in height to himself. As she passed him they exchanged a smile and continued in their different directions.

He continued on his way to the vending machine with his track pants making a "swishing" noise with every step. when he finally reached the machine he stopped in front of it and starred at it with a puzzled look on his face. "Umm how do I get water out of this thing without breaking it" he pondered. It had been three years for him since he had used one of these and he wasn't quite sure what to do. As he looked around he noticed 5 people relatively near him, on one side it was the guy and the girl with the dog he walked past earlier this morning. They seemed to be enjoying each others company so he decide it was best not to bother them. On the other side of him were three girls one sitting by herself reading a book and the other two sitting by a window. Vas decided it would be these two he would ask for help not knowing any better.

"Excuse me could either of you ladies show me how to operate that machine over there" His Russian accent accidentally slipped through as he pointed to the vending machine with an embarrassed smile on his face his.

The freshman; Astrid smirked.

Freshman were the kids who got her lattes, punching bags turned punchers, and Astrid was all for a little lesson in humility. It was a trait not many Dreist students had. She was already brewing up a scheme that Tiff would be more than happy to put into motion. "Well, orientation is before lunch, and I think they may be a bit hungry, but they'd have to earn it, of course. Now how they will pay the price is up to you, Tiff." Astrid planned, sipping on her favorite latte. Some of the Driest freshman had qualities she liked to see, but she would have to test them all to give them a seal of approval.

As soon as she went to continue, her phone buzzed. It was from Andre, calling her kryptonite. He was right, she hadn't found a single boy that could resist her charms.

To: Dre
From: Star

Call me Kryptonite. See you tonight, 'Dre (;

As her manicured fingers taped away, a Russian-accented boy asked Tiffany and herself for help on the vending machine. Tiff would have been all for flaunting her body as she bent to catch the boy's choice, but Astrid wouldn't give herself the pleasure. "Of course, though I have to ask why you could get it yourself." Astrid sneered, but only in a playful way. She returned with the boy to the machine and tapped away to get him the water he desired. As he went to get it, she scanned him.

This boy wasn't unattractive, though there was the quirkiness of a Ruhig student. "Astrid," she said as she extended her hand. She would have this boy wrapped around her finger before Tiffany could blink. They were always in a mini-competition for popularity, but for her, it was getting people to like her, not getting people to know her. Astrid's biggest pet peeve was having someone dislike or hate her. Once the boy revealed his name to be Vassi, she clicked her nails against her cheek. "I suppose you're new here, considering I've never seen you before. He certainly had a fit body that would bode well during combat class. She fluffed her hair and tried to focus her attention on the boy when she already had a lot on her mind. There was the event from earlier, and the choice between Andre and Kian, which was beginning to figure itself out, so it was hard to focus, especially with a lingering pain in the back of her head.

"Of course, though I have to ask why you could get it yourself." one of the girls said mockingly, Vas rubbed the back of his neck and chosen to treat the question as rhetorical because he knew the answer would sounds ridiculous. The girl returned with the him to the machine and tapped away to get him the water he desired. "Thunk" the sound of the water bottle exiting the machine brought an even bigger smile to his face. Putting the soccer ball down on the ground Vas quickly opened the bottle taking a quick sip before the girl spoke again.

"Astrid," she said as she extended her hand.
"Vassi, nice to meet you"he responded shaking her hand gently and like a gentleman for such was the way he had been taught.

Vas glanced over the girl taking in her image and noticing all the apparent effort she put into her appearance. He took a mental note of everything, from the makeup and glossed lips on her well proportioned face to the manicured nails on her fingers and took another sip of his water.

"I suppose you're new here, considering I've never seen you before."
Yea, you could say that, you are the second person I've met all day." "Well really third If you count that girl but i still didn't get her name. his thoughts began to focus on Eleanor and noticing this he quickly shifted his focus back to the present.
"Thank you for this by the way, it was really nice of you to help me, I guess I kinda owe you a favor now." he said with a slight laugh as they walked back over to the table from which they came. Vas wasn't one for taking kindness lightly since he hadn't received much of it in his life, and he did his best to repay his debts.

On their way back to to the table Vas saw what appeared to be a micro expression of pain pierce through the girls near perfect facade.
"Is anything bothering you?" he asked instinctually without fully realizing the invasion of privacy he was committing.

Tiffany love Astrid with to the full extent of whatever she believes about love, but when it came to popularity, they became instant rivals that it was almost funny. A new guy walked back asking them for assistance and it was like Astrid completely forgot that Tiffany was sitting next to her. Plotting the evil things they were going to do to freshman. Tiffany smirked to herself and stood up with the two others.

"Astrid,"
"Vassi, nice to meet you"

"I'm Tiffany," she attempts to pitch in, but it seems that Astrid has the boy's full attention, so she waits for an opportunity to go in and steal him away. Not that she wanted him. Although he was very cute. A complexion the resembled her own. Pearly whites and tall. All the things Tiffany finds attractive. "I suppose you're new here, considering I've never seen you before." Sounds like flirting, but Tiffany knew Astrid. Astrid just wants her popularity to be known and to do that, she gets people to like her. Yea, you could say that, you are the second person I've met all day." 'Guess that makes me third..' she thinks to herself. But he wasn't paying attention to her. "Thank you for this by the way, it was really nice of you to help me, I guess I kinda owe you a favor now."

Tiffany had to refrain from rolling her eyes. She sat back down at the table pretending as if she never saw the two. She would ge t her chance to speak to him and win the spotlight, but not while Astrid was present. She was way too fast and Tiffany liked to work slow. So she sits there and waits.

Lucy didn't speak for the entire twenty minutes that Kian was talking about the book. She petted the cat that was occupying her lap. This was a regular thing. Kian has a conversation with himself while she keeps the cat company. It was a nice deal. They could be alone without feeling lonely. Lucy liked it and it seemed that Kian did too since he was always initiated that times they would hang out. Eventually he stopped talking, ending his explanation. She processed everything that he was saying and then nodded to signal that she understood everything she said. Which she did.

For a moment they sat in silence as Lucy tried to come up with a response. Talking to Kian wasn't easy. He always had stories to tell and interesting things to say, but when it was Lucy's turn she didn't even come close. Which is another reason why she just listens. Interacting with other people wasn't always her thing. She enjoyed the background. It was comfortable. Easier to cope with. She was able to hide her demons in there. Where no one would try and look for them. 'What was I just thinking about....dang it..' she reprimands to herself. Her runaway thoughts always get the best of her in the worse situation.

She sipped her coffee. Lucy was more of a tea gal, but she enjoyed to occasional cup that she happens to only drink around Kian. "What other interesting things have you done recently?" I offer. Maybe that will spark up another lecture. Or result in her having to give out details of her life. She doesn't do that. Or at least doesn't plan too. Her cellphone goes off and she checks it quickly. It's from Kyle. She starts a message.
To: Kyle
From: Lucy
Sure. And Robert will grow up eventually

The message was sent and I started to compose another. To Robert.
To: Robert
From:Lucy
Eat Breakfast.

The message was short. Simple. And gets to the point. No need for a hello. Robert knew me better than that. Finally done with the cellular device, Lucy puts it in her pocket and directs her attention back to Kian.

Astrid could practically feel the jealousy clouding around Tiffany.

She had to admit, Tiffany knew a lot more people, but Astrid considered popularity to be the most people that liked you, not how many people knew you. She kept a perfect composure that not many could break; trying to figure out relationships, and pain, was one of those few things. For some reason, this Vassi character could see through her perfect composure.

"I'm fine, thank you for asking. Though, I do have a favor to ask of you." Astrid leaned in close to Tiffany's ear before she left, "Make sure all the heads are in on initiation, you and I are going to have a little fun in the labyrinth." The labyrinth was a large maze which only head boys and girls knew the way out of. Tiff and Astrid would tell the heads it was an initiation for Eltz, and at the end, Astrid and Tiff would have a few upperclassmen boys waiting to chase them into the freezing lake water. Most of the heads would be furious, but Astrid and Tiff would not take the blame, as the girls would use their skills of seduction. It was the prefect prank for a new year, and they had just enough time to do it after lunch, when orientation swung around. With a flicker of her fingers, Astrid somewhat forced Vassi to follow her, though she didn't physically.

Once they were outside in the quad, mostly alone, her eyes narrowed. "Something about you is off, darling, but I can't quite decide what. Why don't you tell me?" Astrid asked, folding her arms in front of her chest. She didn't like secrets, and didn't keep many herself. She felt secrets were lies.

The need for truth triggered her powers to activate. Her eyes became white, as they usually did, and Astrid felt a sense of her body being taken from her. Even though this was a school for powers, showing off powers wasn't an ability she wanted taken from her. She wanted control, so she could be in control; but just like that, the god of justice and truth, Tyr, took over her body. She lost feeling in one of her hands. Vassi couldn't lie to her, and as a part of Astrid's peronsality, she would be able to detect his secrets.

With a look of confusion labeled on his face Vas watched as Astrid whispered something into her friends ear and motioned him to follow her. He paused contemplating the choice and decided he had nothing better to do until classes started so he followed here, but not before politely introducing himself to the girl who hadn't had the opportunity to say much. "Im gonna go but my name is Vassi" He paused to receive the girls name with his hand extended "Its nice to have met you Tiffany." he said while gently shaking her hand in the same fashion as he did with the Astrid before.

Vas now picked up his soccer ball and allowed Astrid to lead the way outside into the quad. Her eyes narrowed on him bringing a sense of unease with her glare before opening her mouth to speak. "Something about you is off, darling, but I can't quite decide what. Why don't you tell me?" The question was so broad and would've been impossible to answer with a single response, "Well thats a tough one, I spent 3 years on a desolate and dying planet in an alternate dimension, everyone I love is dead or is ashamed of my existence..." his thoughts continued searching for the most complete and simple answer but as he thought about himself and what others would considered odd about him he noticed a disturbing change in Astrid demeanor. Her eyes became a blank white and Vas felt an energy resonating from her due to his sensitive to atomic particles.

"Umm Astrid is everything alright?" was what he wanted to ask but his mind was flooded by her previous question and it felt as if he couldn't sustain a separate thought until he answered her out loud.
"I spent the last earth year in an alternate dimension on a desolate and hellish planet called Homdale. Homdale revolves around its star 3 times faster than earth revolves around the sun. There the air is thicker the gravity is more intense and alpha predators have wiped out all other inhabitants except plant species. My brother and I were forced to survive being hunted and attacked by these creatures we took to calling Vulcari do to their terrifying resemblance to to the Russian demons of legend, and after three years of this hell my brother and I escaped. He was lost in a dimensional rift, I alone survived and wound up here..."
As Vas spoke it was as if his words forced him to relive his hellish experience. Once he finished he couldn't believe all that had just come out of his mouth and his eyes lowered into a hateful stare as he placed his hands on her shoulders "What did you just do to me!" he said demanding an answer from the essence possessing Astrid.

Vassi wasn't one to normally get anger or even show the slightest hint of anger but with the experience of the Homdale now fresh on his mind he reacted instinctually.

Astrid had never blacked out before and she assumed her powers had stopped working. So when Vassi yelled, quite angrily, to ask what she'd done to her, she was really confused and didn't like that he was yelling.

"I'm sorry, darling, I don't know what you're talking about. I didn't do anything." She growled, but only out of confusion. Astrid could be quite vicious when she's confused. After he answered her however, she felt like it was time for class: a head's intuition.

"Shit. We have to go, it's time for class." Astrid told him, extending a warm hand and a pretty smile. He had to be suspicious but she honestly hadn't heard anything of what he said. For her, it was a worry that her powers were changing and that she would lose the small control she had on them. For others, it was that power that was so hard to control that could make her dangerous. She would have to talk to Professor Lawrence, or even Headmaster Ryan. She would have to tell him about the diner ordeal soon enough.

On their way, she made sure to text Kian and Annabelle so they'd realize it was time for class. She also sent one to the rest of the heads, excluding Eleanor and Kyle, as they were usually in class before her. She took her time to show Vassi some of the castle on the way to the class. There was a large garden seen just out a window, and the mountains they were settled on were just about everywhere. Instead of independent study, she thought about hiking up to one of the peaks, but that would only be allowed on weekends, when they had free time. They strolled into the classroom, just missing the bell by a few minutes.

Granted, if they'd walked a bit faster, they might have made it, but Astrid was in no hurry. The Treu guardian, Jimmy, had transformed into a cat and was sleeping, which was incredibly adorable, but also meant free time. She would have to go outside to use her power, and decided to spring out her mythology book. She would use independent study later to practice using her powers, and meet Andrei later. She pondered on having dinner with him, but she decided against it, fearing the friends with benefits would turn into something else.

Instead, she would grab a bottle or two of strong wine from the cellar in the castle and toast to the freedom of flings.

A Collaboration Post

"Shit. We have to go, it's time for class." Astrid told Vas, extending a warm hand and a pretty smile. He glared with suspicion at the girl who now appeared to be her normal self again and gently moved her hand away from him while taking a step back creating a considerable distance between the two. "Lead the way then." he said nodding in the direction of the hallways. Vas kept his distance away from her as she slowly lead the way to class taking what seemed to be the long scenic route.

When the professor said it was a free day, Ellie knew exactly what that meant. She would have to help the newer members of her house while Jimmy turned into a kitten on her desk and watched the moving picture that she used her power on. It wasn't long until her best friend turned to a kitten and fell asleep on her desk. She rolled her eyes before petting his back.

Eleanor grapped her notebook out of her bag and looked through the pictures for one that would keep him calm and relaxed. Once she found one of a large willow tree with a wind chime on it, blowing in the wind as the sun was setting in the background. She waved her hand of the picture to bring it to life before smiling back at Jimmy and petting his head softly one more time before a group of people came towards her and started asking her to help them. At first she told them that she busy and had something else to do but, she soon found herself roped into explaining the lesson to them while looking down at Jimmy and stuttering a few times.

"Eleanor, are you okay?" The younger girls asked if she was okay before looking at her in worry.
"I'm fine, I just need a minute." The girls nodded before turning around towards each other as Ellie took a deep breath before turning back to her desk, trying to hide her embarrassment. She was just happy that Jimmy wasn't awake to see her have one of her 'stutterfest'.

She started tapping her foot and her fingers in a pattern, trying to calm her anxiety. She looked up towards the clock which was right above the door right when Astrid and the boy she had seen earlier in the day.
She sighed sharply. "Of course." Knowing that Astrid probably already had him wrapped around her pretty little finger. Not that she was surprised, she was everything a guy wanted. She quickly turned her gaze down towards her book while trying to stop her cheeks from turning red with even more embarrassment. She was trying to calm herself down, but everything her therapist told her to try wasn't helping.

So, she quickly stood up and walked out of the room. She needed to get some air.

To Vas' dismay he and Astrid arrived late and had missed the lesson so again the Russian glared at the girl this time without her noticing his narrowed eyes on the back of her head. "You owe me some answers." was the thought rambling through his mind but as he glared at her he noticed a familiar face exiting the class room. It was the girl who had bumped into him in line.

Immediately forgetting his current disdain for Astrid he hastily attempted to catch up to the girl before she got to far with the intent to strike up conversation, but still realizing he was in his practice clothes Vas stopped a few feet short of the girl to see if he passed the smell test. "Hmm not too bad" His scent was that of a slight man smell, because the cold outdoor air kept him from sweating too much during his exercise. "Better safe than sorry" was his final thought before looking to find that the girl who was now no where to be seen.

"Just my luck, now which way did she go?" Vas was now at an intersection in the hallways, he looked to his left and saw nothing but the day light sun shining through windows of the halls. Next was the right and down the hall a little ways was the girl who was still walking and carrying her books. "Excuse me, Ms." he called hoping his voice would carry down the hall as he lightly jogged to catch up to her.

Upon reaching her he couldn't help but let out a smile of relief before saying "You walk quite fast, are you in Hurry? He paused for a second to see if her answer was yes before continuing "Im sorry i don't mean to bother you it's just I never got your name earlier before you rushed off, Im Vassi Its a pleasure to meet you."
