What to do? What to do? Tiffany thought as she was getting ready for her day. She adjusted the uniform before messing with her hair. When she reached the state of perfection she gathered her things and left her room. So many people were already walking about and heading to breakfast or going to wake up others. It was her job to greet freshman, but she didn't want to. Of anything she wanted to mess with their heads, but that would have to wait until later. She didn't see Andrei anywhere and it made her shake her head. As head boy he should have been up as well. But they were both late.

Skipping down the hall she was still trying to find someone to talk to or hang out with. Of course everyone she was thinking of was either currently busy or she didn't like them enough to greet them. She could always just head to the cafeteria and see what the day brings her. What is Astrid doing? she thought. Sometimes Tiffany didn't see why she hung out with Annabelle, but she didn't question it. It was something she would just never understand.

Finally she made it to the cafeteria and many people were walking in and out of it. Standing in the long line she looked around for someone to talk to. On instant her eyes locked on the maroon beenie. Lucy... she thought. She hated her and there she was with yet another male. Tiffany could swear on her life that she was sleeping with them. But they weren't really talking. Just sitting there. Eating. She just shook her head and moved up in the line. Grabbing a cup of coffee and a bagel, she walked over to the table closet to the window.

This is how she planned her tricks. Of course Astrid is usually with her when she does, but she will just have to inform her on it later.

Jeremiah Raimin

Jeremiah waited for Lucy to speak. Some mornings they would just sit and eat saying nothing at all. It didn't really bother him because the school can get very loud at times and a nice slice of peace was nice every once in a while. Yet today was the day all new people came to the school. He sipped his mocha and smiled again as Lucy formed words and they fell from her mouth. He realized his drink wasn't stirred well so he spun his finger lightly over the cup as the liquid began to rotate mixing better. "Not that I have seen though I think I may have passed one but who knows. Have you talked to anyone this morning other then your tea." He smiled jokingly.
He looked around and saw Riley talking to another new student and the head girl of house Mutige. The woman made her dislike for Lucy quite obvious. He saw a few other faces none he had any good relationship with. He turned his attention back to Lucy. "Are you feeling ok this morning?"

Andrei Stepanov

Dre looked at her as she began messing with his tie. He sighed and smiled again. The bravado came back as he formulated a comment to return her statement. "You need to learn to tie a tie correctly" she said. He looked her in the eyes and spoke the first thing that came to mind. "Nah that's what I got you for right?" He was being more joking then serious but they sometimes could get confused in his accent.

She replied "I have no idea what you'll do without me after this year, but I hope you'll find some way to survive," she joked, grabbing her bag from the floor and starting for the door. "Come on, we have students to greet and help. I'll come by after classes to help you clean your room. And I'm serious when I say help. I'm not doing it on my own. You will participate," she said threateningly, stepping into the hall. Andrei followed after her locking his door behind him.

"The problem with cleaning my room is it never stays clean. So whats the point?" He walked with her towards the front of the school smiling and making comments at girls as they passed. Some charming some jokes nothing really bad. "I'll probably end up back in Russia doing stupid things for food." That was to serious for him as he realized it came out of his mouth. "Or run a crime ring or something like that." He laughed a bit and walked up to the front office.

(I apologize but this wil be a short post :/)

Annabelle listened to Astrid as she talked. She had taken not to the girl, who had been known as Alice and she meant to keep a mental note in her head. Eventually while it was all going on she felt her phone vibrate and she pulled it out and she looked at the text seeing that it was another good friend of hers known as Quinn. Her and him had been best friends since they were in the academy together and she rather enjoyed his company. She wished sometimes she could sneak away to visit with him, but Astrid was her best friend too. Sometimes Anna felt it was difficult to balance all her friends sometimes but she made sure she made time for each other them, especially Robert.

"Alrighty, I'll see you later, Quinny! :) With Astrid atm though~"

Annabelle sent to Quinn and she was happy, soon Astrid wanted to leave and she sighed, it was like her friend to want to leave, she suggested going to the coffee shop but Annabelle said it wasn't such a good idea considering that the shop might not be open and as they had gone out to Astrid's car and drove off Annabelle had been proven right. Luckily they had a back up plan and Anna followed Astrid's lead. "So how was everyone's sleep?" Anna asked both Kian and Astrid with a smile. There were only a couple people who knew about Annabelle's chronic insomnia. The teachers and the headmaster as it is their duty to know and it makes her school life easier, but they keep it secret. Then there was Quinn, Robert, and Astrid who knew, but Anna wasn't close enough with Kian to talk about it in front of him. Anna pulled out her phone again and began to send another text.

"Robby! You awake yet, darling? :) xox"

She sent the text to her boyfriend and she was hoping he'd be getting up soon. She was also very excited to getting to spend some more time with him later today. Anna had gone into day dream land for awhile but she knew shortly she'd be brought back to the world of reality, which was fine. Anna just needed something to do for the moment.[/size]

"Oh, I heard a couple of the upperclassmen where going to be teaching some of the classes."
That would be interesting, Alice thought. Some of the upperclassman, she was pretty sure, were the same age as her. They'd been at Eltz longer so she guessed they had more training if not experience. She'd had authority issues when teachers had had the advantage of age... -but she was here to learn not cause trouble, she'd be trying to behave which would be a difference from public school. She took another bite of her sandwich and listened as Riley continued.

"The one I'm really dreading is combat. I don't think that I could handle hurting someone purposely or accidentally. I'm not the violent type. Clearly." Riley said gesturing to her body as if that proved her point. Alice followed Riley's gesturing, observing the soft red curls, lean body, and very feminine, very preppy, attire, and found herself agreeing. Looks could be deceiving but if they were anything to go by she would assume that Riley was quite the docile type. Not that 'girly' necessarily meant 'weak'. "Well combat isn't just about hurting people. Like martial arts, it's also about defending yourself. Blocking, deflecting, avoidance. I'm sure they won't throw you in at the deep end," she offered, trying to be comforting.

The two of them must look like complete opposites Alice thought as she considered her own appearances. They were meant to be her defence, to avoid confrontation so that she didn't have to hurt people. Dark rimmed eyes, dark boots, dark jacket, dark jeans, there was a splash of colour with her choice of blouse today but overall her clothes did not shout 'girl scout'. That combined with the aggressive confidence she put into her stride and the trace of various scars on her body... she rubbed the still pink grazes on her knuckles without really thinking... no, if someone was stupid enough to give her trouble she was prepared to give it right back. She had hurt people on purpose and without regret, it was when accidents happened... Alice's stomach clenched, and she was instantly angry with herself for allowing her mind to wander to darker thoughts - which of course meant that on the outside she smiled a little brighter. Maybe she did deceive with her appearances in some ways.

"I'm not too concerned about combat," she said only a little stiffly; then continued a laugh, "I think I'll be more worried if I have to take history class because I know I'm bad at that."

Finishing off the last bite of her sandwich Alice found that her appetite has lessened somewhat. She set aside her cookie and settled for enjoying the rest of her coffee. She looked around the cafeteria and had a thought that brought a smirk to her lips, "So which of them do you reckon is a upperclassman teacher? And do think having a hot one will help you pay attention in class or be the distraction?"

"Well combat isn't just about hurting people. Like martial arts, it's also about defending yourself. Blocking, deflecting, avoidance. I'm sure they won't throw you in at the deep end," Riley nodded in understanding. It made her feel better but not completely. But at least she had a different view on the whole combat thing. 'Okay think of it like defense instead of attacking. I can do that...right?' Riley thought but she was sure she was going to choke when she stepped on the combat mats, Riley gulped and took another bite. Well when the time comes she'll be ready, she hopes.

Then Alice went on about on a joke that she's only worried if their was history class. Riley laughed with her easing up some of the anxiety that was creeping over her body. She did not want to have another accident. Riley looked at her croissant then her tea. Feeling brave she dipped it in then took a bite. It wasn't bad but it did do something to the taste. It had a hint of lemon in. "So which of them do you reckon is a upperclassman teacher? And do think having a hot one will help you pay attention in class or be the distraction?"

Riley choked as someone's name popped up in her head at the mention of hot. She hit her chest a little bit hoping it would go down. Riley smiled sheepishly then took a bite out of her apple almost done with her breakfast. "I have no idea what you are talking about." To add an effect she averted her gaze to her dog who's head was tilted side ways oblivious to what was happening at the moment. Trying to be sly she looked at Alice's smirking face. "No one has caught my eye yet." Riley spoke but on the inside her lie detector was going off. Riley took a look around at the students before turning back to Alice's with a shrug. "Nope sorry. What about you?"

"Not that I have seen though I think I may have passed one but who knows. Have you talked to anyone this morning other then your tea. Lucy saw his smile. He was only kidding, but she has been caught doing that many times. It was hard to explain that to people. She offered a small smirk and she pushed her tea away. "No. Danielle attempted conversation with me," she said. Lucy wasn't going into detail about that fail. Jeremiah may or may not question her about it. Or make her take another pill. She can't take more than one or Lucy will walk around like some kind of brainless zombie. At least she could make decent conversation now.

"Are you feeling ok this morning?" Lucy almost missed the question. She caught the eyes on the on person she wouldn't mind killing. Tiffany. She was a bitch and waste of air. She didn't deserve to be here or even live. She felt bad for her parents. Lucinda doesn't even know why Tiffany started hating her, but when she mention Lucy's brother she snapped. The fight had to be broken up because Lucy almost killed her. No hesitation. That was last time Lucy lost her sanity in the academy. Lucy looked back at Jeremiah and nodded slowly. "I'm doing better now. The pill is kicking in," she said nonchalantly.

She told Jeremiah about the pills when he caught her taking them. Of course she didn't tell him what exactly they were for. All he knows is that they are anxiety pills and nothing more. It was the half truth. Lucy started looking around and she saw people that she hasn't spoken too. People that she has been trying to avoid. And it was getting really crowded for her liking. Why does everyone have to eat breakfast at the same time? "Jeremiah can we take a walk?" she asked, hinting that she wanted to leave the cafeteria.

He had to stifle small giggles when she bumped into the new guy; but when Ellie mentioned the girl he was sweet on, his cheeks flared up. "I-I don't think she likes me like that, E-El." Jimmy started to stutter.

She switched topics, and Jimmy sighed in relief. Ellie started to ramble on about movies, and the memory of that night flared up. Jimmy couldn't decided who had picked the romantic movie, but, having Sarah to drag him to romantic movies even at a young age, he was used to it. What he wasn't used to was a girl falling asleep in his vicinity, especially Ellie. She nodded off and her head fell into his lap. He literally spent twenty minutes planning what to do, and finally decided to do nothing. When the movie stopped, it was late and he didn't want to wake her up, so he slept on the couch.

"If you're not too chicken, we can catch a horror flick at the movies." Are you trying to flirt? Jimmy didn't know if Eleanor was up for going into the village, but he liked catching a film in their movie theatre from time to time; it reminded him of his life before the years of darkness.

Eleanor noticed the sunglasses, obviously, and asked him if he was okay. "Um, yeah, El, I'm fine, it's just a bit bright." That was a lie, but he could blame it on acute eyesight, like he usually did. But he could feel it steadily getting worse. It usually didn't develop this fast; this was going to be a bad migraine week. "No-no, we can stay... here, it's fine." The pounding in his head was making it hard to lie. If he continued to focus on it, it would continue to steadily climb. Instead, he saw a girl sitting on the windowsill.

"Why don't we get ourselves some new friends?" Jimmy asked, taking her hand as they finished their breakfast. He led the way, only because she was a bit shier than him. He walked up to the girl.

"Hey, I'm Jimmy, and this is Eleanor. I saw you were sitting by yourself and I would love for you to join us."

Alice's comment had pretty much the desired effect; she watched with amusement as Riley spluttered and quickly denied any sort of understanding. then guilt or involvement in lewd thoughts. Alice smirked, a raised an eyebrow clearly illustrating her scepticism.

"No one has caught my eye yet." Riley amended after a moment, which just Alice smile more, with an knowing expression."Nope sorry. What about you?"

She regarded Riley for a little longer before deciding to let it go, she didn't stop smirking though. She'd definitely struck a chord of some kind with her question, and Riley's slight blush and flustered response suggested something contradictory to her answer. "Well, I don't know about you, but if I recall the original question correctly, my answer would have to be 'not a clue' and 'distraction'."

She took a smug bite of her cookie, not able to resist the chocolate after all, and admired her evasive answer. Well, technically it wasn't evasive because she'd directly answered the question plus she didn't have anything to be evasive about. Had some caught her eye? She considered this and surveyed the room.

Certainly a few people were easy on the eyes, but no one made her think 'well, damn'. Dating was messy, sometimes it was worth it, but she always appreciated an attractive figure and a sharp wit. The day had barely started and there were heaps of new people to meet, she shrugged.

The cookie had disappeared quite quickly, and Alice licked the last smear of melting chocolate chip off her thumb a little disappointedly.

"So..." Both of them had just about finished there food and beverages. "Now what?"

Riley sighed knowing that she didn't pull the wool over Alice's eyes. She obviously saw threw Riley's babbling. The smirk plastered on Alice's face just said everything. "Well, I don't know about you, but if I recall the original question correctly, my answer would have to be 'not a clue' and 'distraction'." Riley face planted. She completely messed up. She didn't even answer her question. Way to be less suspicious. Riley took a bite out of her apple almost finishing it.

"I heard that this girl named Alwin was teaching a class. And if there was someone who was someone hot in the class they would definitely be a distraction. I wouldn't be able to focus. I would look like a drooling Justin Bieber fan." Riley said putting her finished apple on the plate and taking her last sip of her tea and putting it next to her apple. Riley took another look around breifly then picked up her dog and set her on her lap. She rubbed Caramel's back needing to move her body

"So..." Riley raised her eyebrow. "Now what?" Riley shrugged. "We could wander around and get lost or I could take a nice nap and leave you behind." Riley smiled at the thought. "But i'm not rude so...we can wander or eat some more. I up for anything at the moment."

Kian could feel the buzzing nerves in the room; literally. The edges of his eyesight were tinted with a dark violet, and he could feel his palms getting a little sweaty and adrenaline kicking in. He went from standing calmly, looking composed to slightly bouncing one leg. He smiled to the girl, and many other's passing, most having at least a small purple tint. His attention was drawn back when Astrid spoke, and instantly, his hands went back to normal and he started to feel more at ease. Her confidence slightly countered the nervousness and when she started to walk, he followed, bobbing his head politely to the head master and a passing freshman.

Once arriving, however, he could tell Astrid wouldn't want to stay. Crowded places were not her happy space. His eyes found Lucy, and he could tell even from the distance she was uncomfortable. He would make sure to make plans with her for later, to calm her down.

"Sounds like a plan," he said, in regard to the coffee shop. He was more quiet than usual, his headache still pretty bad, and as they walked to Astrid's car he pulled a water bottle out of his backpack. It was filled with a clear liquid, but it wasn't water. He took two sips from it, big ones, then returned it to it's place in his backpack. He knew neither of the girls approved of his bad habits; hell, he didn't either, so he made sure not to let them smell what it was. In the car, he opened up a text to Lucy. Hey kiddo. Take it easy- Lunch? and sent it, pocketing his phone.

He wasn't necessarily upset that the coffee shop was closed, but he was pleased when they found the diner open. He grinned at Astrid, giving her a nudge before exiting the car. "Uh, fine," Kian muttered, flashbacks of his last few memories from last night hitting his head, though he didn't remember actually going to bed, for that matter.

Arriving at the diner door, he held it open for the two girls, entering after. It was seat yourself, and he chose a booth on the right. In sat on one side, the two girls taking the other. He couldn't help but grin. This was quite the perfect morning, with these two. Well, at least it seemed like it, what with his mind becoming slightly lofty and bubbly from the light buzz.

"I-I don't think she likes me like that, E-El." Ellie sighed before shrugging. Jimmy was a good guy. He was kind, sweet, smart, and cute to boot. Not that she would admit it but, she really was head over heels for the younger boy a little. "If you're not too chicken, we can catch a horror flick at the movies." She scoffed a little before rolling her eyes. "Me? Scared? Please, if anyone's going to be chicken, its you but don't worry youngster. Big tough Eleanor will be there to protect you." She smirked before taking another sip of her tea.

When he started talking about how he was fine, she raised an eyebrow towards her best friend. "Um, yeah, El, I'm fine, it's just a bit bright." She tilted her head a bit before shaking her head. "Let's just head inside, Jamie. It's not that big of a deal."

"No-no, we can stay... here, it's fine." The older girl just sighed before nodding towards her friend. She could tell that he was in some type of pain but, if it got bad enough. She make him go inside. She hated seeing him like this and whenever he was, she tried her best help him until he felt better. She looked up to see the man that she had bumped into in the corner of her eye and she couldn't help but look away. "Why don't we get ourselves some new friends?" She looked up at her friend before shaking her head nervously. "What? No, Jamie. Please no." But it was took late he had already gotten up and grabbed a hold of her small hand. Ellie looked down at them hand and hand before smiling sweetly. She snapped herself out of it before speaking to Jimmy in a soft tone as they continued to walk up to the girl. "Jamie, I can't do this." But, it was too late. They were already in front of the girl.

"Hey, I'm Jimmy, and this is Eleanor. I saw you were sitting by yourself and I would love for you to join us." She just let her friend talk while Ellie looked down at the two still holding hand. She quickly but softly removed her hand from his and put it to her side. There was no reason to give people the wrong idea, especially with Jimmy's little Miss.Perfect someone on campus.

The lights of the stadium were blinding but the cheer of the crowd made the Russian's heart race with excitement. Thousands of fans all cried his name with joy and support as he stepped onto the pitch. Today was THE day, the opening game of the season for the Russian national football team and with a wide smile Vas held his hand over his heart for the national anthem, but the joy he was experiencing soon turned into fear as two shadowy figures in lab coats (a man and a women) dragged him off the field. He could only watch as the lights of the stadium began to dim and the doors to the field slammed shut leaving him only in darkness at first. The darkness was gone in a flash but he found himself bound by his arms and legs in a tank filled with a green liquid with a breathing device and all manner of vital monitoring wires hanging from his naked body. He thrashed as he tired to break free but it was too late the machine was already whirring to life as the liquid began to to bubble violently. Atom by atom of the young mans body felt as if it were being viciously pulled apart, compressed together, and broken up all at once. The pain was excruciating and instead of thrashing in protest to be set free he now found himself wanting to give up on life all together. As his vision faded back into black his last visual images were that of the shadowy figures smiling and taking notes on their experimentation.

With a large gasp of air Vassi arose from his bed and into a sitting positing with a look of pure terror on his face, hands holding onto his head, and sweat droplets dripping down his nude torso. After the deep breathing subsided and he was no longer paralyzed from terror Vas reached into his Satchel to pull out his journal and continued to write.

Day 1: Today I start here at Eltz Academy in Moselle valley, Germany. I haven't seen people in 3 years and I hope today is a good day but for now I'm just incredibly hungry and I wonder if they have soy milk and cereal here. After eating I have to say the food was heavenly I cant believe I missed cereal so much, but I guess thats what being lost in dimension will do to you. Also the dimensional sickness seems to be fading now that I've eaten. *Side Note: This girl with died hair and lovely eyes ran into during breakfast and I believe she's still looking at me, maybe I should go talk to her, thats what Roman would want. After talking to her I found out her name was Danielle and she has the power rapidly adjust the temperature of water, much like my ability to heat and cool objects by vibrating their atoms but while I can only do this by touch she can do it with sight. It was quite the spectacle to see someone else's powers and in return I showed her my pencil transmutation trick, she seemed impressed but after she made the notion that having my powers was a good thing the memories of how I got them began to knock at mind and I knew at that point I would not be able to continue normal conversation so I made my exit back to the cafeteria for a refill of tea and a snack...

Remembering he had the cranberry scone still in his bag he reached in unwrapping it from the napkin and took a small bite savoring the flavor. "Ive missed this dimensions food so much" he thought. Taking another bite Vas switched hands and continued to write.

... while in line I had the pleasure of standing behind a girl I had previously seen this morning, she's quite short and accidentally bumped into me causing me to spill what was left of my tea on myself but when our eyes met I couldn't say anything... I was stuck in that moment of time until she apologized and continued through the line and even then I found myself admiring her until she disappeared into the dense crowd of students. I wish I knew her name but for now the chance to have been in contact with her is nice enough. Due to the spill on my shirt I decided to comeback to my room and take a nap, but I had the dream again, the dream of mom and dad...

Unable to write more Vas closed his journal and as he did a small tear fell onto the leather binding but always being told to fight weakness by his older brother he wiped his eyes and looked at the alarm clock that sat next to his bed. The morning was still young so he began to undress himself in order to change into his exercise clothes. "The soccer fields not to far from here maybe a little play time will clear my head" and with that thought he bolted out the door leaving most of his belongs, all except his key and watch.

After a light warm up jog and a quick stop at the gym for a soccer ball Vas was on the field practicing his footwork up and down the pitch and after running the length of the field twice he would end his routine with a trick shot on goal. His favorite trick was a rainbow flick over his head followed by a half volley which usually ended up sinking into the top left or right hand corners of the goal. Each time the ball flew into the goal Vas would grab it and celebrate as if he just made the goal winning shot of the world cup.

Astrid could smell it. Alcohol. She eyed Kian out of the corner of her eye, but wouldn't speak. She couldn't condemn him for her own sin.

Once they arrived, the three sat happily in a booth, Annabelle on one side, Astrid and Kian on the other. Normally, Astrid sat by herself, to talk to both of them face-to-face, but today she was especially tired and wanted someone to sleep on.

Just like in the movies, a girl in a poodle skirt and rollerskates pulled up to their table. She had bubblegum pink hair and neck tattooes. "Hey, I'm Carly, what can I get you guys?" She popped a bubble of gum as pink as her hair.

Astrid ordered a strawberry milkshake and a chicken tenders basket, then the others ordered. Once they were finished, she rolled away with the small list. Astrid sighed, letting her head rest against Kian's shoulder. "I hope Danny leads the tours today, I have such a horrible headache." She groaned.

They started to talk about meaningless things, mostly small talk, until the food arrived. They ate in mostly comfortable silence.

Annabelle started talking about something Astrid wasn't too interested, but pretended to be anyway, when something flickered in the corner of her eye. She set down the little fry and excused herself momentarily. She turned the corner towards the ladies' room, someone pushed her inside. The assaulter slammed her against the wall. "Never knew someone so dangerous could be pretty too." The man snarled, pinning her against the wall.

It was almost laughable that he was trying to intimidate her. She smirked but wouldn't let him see her afraid. No one would, no one could scare her. That's when he used his powers.

No one had ever used their powers on her. Just like that, there was an awful pain encompassing her body. His mouth covered her cries of agony. Just when the pain subsided, the man slammed his hand against her pounding head. "What do you want from me?" Astrid cried out, shrinking against the wall. He did it, she was officially scared of him. "Nothing, yet." He disappeared.

Astrid pulled out her book of Norse mythology and desperately searched for the god that healed. Fear Masking would have worked for that situation.

Finding Forseti, the god of justice, her power did the work and she returned to the table, albeit frazzled. She felt a little embarrassed at the fact that they were already finished. "Sorry, Anna B, Ki, I had a lot of spicy food last night." Her confidence returned, although still stunted, and remained quiet as she quickly finished her meal.

Annabelle, sat there, she was sitting alone today, sometimes she felt things more deeply than she wanted to but luckily she had her very positive demeanor to give her a smiley outlook all the time. Annabelle, had just really wished she could have stayed in bed a bit longer, despite her chronic insomnia, she wished she pretended to be ill and just had Robert take care of her instead. Annabelle, loved Astrid and all but sometimes Astrid was a bit much for how Annabelle liked to be. Sometimes the two of them had difficulty getting along, they were both so different, besides Astrid and Kian seemed to be just fine together and happy, Kian would have probably preferred for Anna to be back at school, she almost wishes it too. Annabelle ordered her food, a vanilla milkshake and a blueberry muffin. She wasn't too much in the mood for eating anyways. Soon an emotional wave hit Annabelle. She could feel her blood rush more, and she knew this was her aura mimicry hitting in. It was her most frequent used power, that would turn on and off by itself. Soon while Annabell had mentioned the whole sleeping bit, she could feel the emotions the other two felt, neither really cared so Annabelle just dropped her topic of conversation.

Soon she got a mixture of emotions running through her body, from the people in the diner. There was happy and bubbly ones, some excited, some in secrets, then there was a darker one lurking about and it set Annabelle on edge, but she decided to dismiss it and when the food came she tried to be more engulfed in that instead of anything else, she didn't like to dwell on things too much. She soon heard that Astrid was excusing herself, and she just went along with it, but Annabelle, wasn't sure what would happen, she didn't control whose emotions they mimicked to her anyways, but eventually she got a small wave of pain before her mimicry switched out and changed to the bored chef in the diner. He really hated his job and Annabelle felt bad for him, and soon it changed back to Astrid as she came back, and at that moment, despite the way Astrid was looking, Annabelle knew something was going on despite her little white lie, Anna was smarter than that, despite being naive to a lot of things, her aura mimicry never lied, and there was more Astrid wasn't sharing, as to what it was, Annabelle didn't know. Annabelle didn't like secrets to be kept from her, but if that was how it was to be then so be it.

Anna nodded to Astrid and for a bit she drank her milkshake a bit, and ate half her muffin. She left her muffin on the table and then she fished into her clutch and pulled out a bit of money and placed it on the table, "Here, this should pay for my food." Anna said giving the two a smile. "I don't feel too well so I should get some fresh air, maybe start walking back to the school and perhaps text Robert or Quinn for a ride if it is an absolute must, I just, it's too stuffy in here, I'm terribly sorry Astry and Kian. I hope you guys enjoy your morning though." She said with a cheery bright smile and then she took her milkshake and she got up out of the booth and she waved to them and walked out of the diner.

Stepping out into the fresh air she breathed in deeply. It was nice to be in the fresh open air, nature was beautiful and she hated to be cooped up inside, plus she needed to be away from all the insane amounts of people, they were making her power and emotions go out of whack, and the more that her power used up the more it wore her out, and even before she had just begun. She was already getting a piercing headache, and she was getting worn out and the day hardly started, this was the one power that ran free and she had no control over. Astrid was too shaken up to talk to, plus she hardly listened sometimes, not to say Anna didn't love her, just sometimes, Anna felt lonely despite being around her. She kept walking or quite a bit before she pulled her phone out, she was going to text Robert, she'd see Quinn later but right now all she wanted was to see Robert and just be wrapped up in his arms and have her headache go away.

"Robby, can you come and pick me up? I'll meet you at the coffee shop. :)"

She sent it and then she continued over to the coffee shop which wasn't too far away but walking distance it could be a bit far. Annabelle sat on the front steps, she knew nothing super bad could happen to her out here anyways, The owner who was her boss would be here in about fifteen minutes anyways and he'd open the shop, so worst case she could fend anyone off if she needed to.

When he felt a sudden lick on his face, Robert realized Husky needs to stop licking people's faces while they sleep. Robert rubbed his eyes, until he finally got his conscious back, after sleeping in everyday for the past few days, he realized it's about time he continued to be productive with his work. The past few weeks, he and Anna had been working on the freshman orientation plan, which took them quite a while to finish. Which was why he needed the break.
The first thing he did was turn on his phone, when a soft ring indicated that he had a message after several rings, oh great....that was how many messages? never again does he believe in turning his phone off for several days is a good idea.

Flipping through, he sees two messages from Anna asking whether he could pick her up at the coffee shop. Realizing that he is late he quickly typed back

"Sure, will be there in a second, just woke up :D "

After pressing send, he quickly went through his closet only to find a Oxford shirt and a navy blue blazer that fits him before setting out to the coffee shop. He has to admit, school has started and he is surely going to miss his full time summer job as a barista in the coffee shop. Although he would still drop by the store sometimes, but it's time to move onto freshman orientation. Every year, you get at least 50 of them who have no idea what they are doing here, or still thinks this is Hogwarts. Surely, we are somewhat like Hogwarts but hey at least Eltz is cooler.

Walking down the corridor, it seemed as if everyone is out of the dorms and busy getting ready for school, since it's so quiet. However, his attention was broken by another sudden beep of a text message sent in by his brother, Kyle.

"Hey Robert, do you have time tonight for dinner? let's take sometime to catch up"

Let's honest, it's quite surprising, two brothers that grew up together depending on each other, and yet there is always a big gap between them, that they need a dinner to catch up with each other. Thinking back, his brother despite being only 1 year older, there is nothing that makes him more experienced in life than Robert is.. no sports, hardly any friends, just always a cold face and an internship at who knows where

However, thinking back it's already been almost 45 days since they've talked. So he replied

"Yes, I do I'll make sure to come, can I bring Anna?"

With the response returned
"Sure, I'll probably ask Lucy to come as well, we all need sometime to catch up with each other"

He tapped a message to Anna:
"Annie! I am on my way right now to pick you up, by the way are you free tonight? My brother is asking me to go to dinner and catch up....I desperately need emotional support because I have a feeling the connection there would really awkward....or worse, out of hand...please even Husky says you should :D "

Another thing he has to admit....previously there has been cases where umm.....a dinner had gone wrong and both parties went screaming at other. Which is why every time from that time on, Robert will bring Anna as his support.

After putting his phone back into his pocket, he continued down the hall, into the elevator and down to the parking lot.

"We could wander around and get lost or I could take a nice nap and leave you behind. But i'm not rude so...we can wander or eat some more. I up for anything at the moment."

Alice pushed her seat back a little and stretched her arms above her head with a bit of a groan as she loosened the slight stiffness in her back. "If you're tired don't let me keep you. I'm not hungry any more." A nap for herself wasn't a bad idea, but unless she found a couch or something it would require actually making her bed and that seemed more effort than it was worth right now. Besides, she ought to be social on her first day at least, she had all semester to hole up in her room sleeping.

"However," Alice continued "Wandering doesn't sound too bad if you are up for it. What shall it be? Explore the castle, head down to the village, or go back to the office and see what other students have arrived? Up to you, I'm easy."

She put her hands behind her head and looked around the hall, catching sight of a trio gathering near one of the windows; a girl/boy couple approaching another student. A pitying smile graced Alice's lips as she watched the girl extract her hand from her partner's.

"We could even wander over there and interrupt that awkward little interaction," she nodded towards the trio, "Introduce ourselves, relieve tension, and what-not." She shrugged.

Jeremiah Raimin

Jeremiah looked her over after the comment about wanting to take a walk. He then looked around the room and saw why. Many students both new and old were gathering for breakfast in the cafeteria. He looked around looking to see if he saw anyone he knew. There was that Riley girl she was kinda sweet. Then there was a small girl off to the side in the window being talked to by Eleanor, head girl of his house, and Jimmy, nice guy I think. He looked back at Lucy and smiled "Sure let me get some more wake up juice?" He got up to go get himself some more drink on the way back he passed Riley and the other girl. He smiled and stirred his drink but running his finger along the brim of the cup. "Hello again Riley. Find everything alright?" He trned his attention to the other girl and looked her over "Pardon my rudeness. My name is Jeremiah a second year in house Ruhig and you?" He smiled and thought to himself. Am I smiling to much? Should I not be using my power? He decided it was to late to stop now.

Kian smiled lightly to himself, though he fought the urge to take out the water bottle again. He didn't want to drink now, at least not in front of these two. His order was simple, a burger and a water, as he decided not to eat too much. There'd been times were he was out with these two and had eaten four or five meals, before becoming violently ill. That happened last year, at least. He smiled at Astrid as she leant on him, wrapping his arm around her shoulders to make her more comfortable. As she spoke, his fingers subconsciously began twirling her hair. When the food arrived he pulled his arm away, beginning to dig it, but trying to remember not too eat to messily. It grossed the girls out.

Eyes flickering to Annabell, Kian downed the last of his water. At this point, his buzz was beginning to wear off. When Astrid stood up, his eyes followed her until she entered the bathroom, and they then found their way back to Annabell, a soft smile fitting onto his face. He heard her talking about sleep, but his mind started to drift as his headache found his way back into his mind. And damn, it hurt, the throbbing as his eyes got a little foggy, the light too bright. He was brought back into focus when he saw a dark flash of red, coming from the bathroom. He stood up quickly, but stayed in place as second later Astrid came out. Her face looked fine, and the color had subsided to her usual light pink glow. He sat down, tucking his hands in his lap, slightly embarrassed.

Kian was really surprised when Annabelle decided to leave, but he nodded, shooting her a comforting smile. He glanced at her money. If it was his choice, he'd pay for them all, but she was out the door before he could do anything about it. His attention turned to Astrid, the sight of her face making him forget about the previous emotional wave he'd felt from her, a smile falling on his face.

He waited for her to finish before speaking, ordering a large hot chocolate to go, and then pulling out his wallet. He knew Astrid wouldn't fight him for the rest of the bill, as she knew how much money his family had and that he wouldn't let her pay no matter what. Kian put the money on the table, picking up the hot chocolate with one hand and putting the other on Astrid's side, giving her a light squeeze to stand up, then holding the door open for her as they exited. It wasn't particularly warm outside, and as they walked he put his arm around her shoulders, pulling her into him. He shrugged off his urge to pull out a cig, turning his attention to Astrid. Gosh, she was so pretty.

"If you're tired don't let me keep you. I'm not hungry any more." Riley rolled her eyes and got up picking up her tray in the process. Caramel jumped off her lap onto the ground and followed her master and she went to the nearest trashcan to dump her food. She then noticed how rude it was of her not to get Alice's tray as well. She shrugged it off. Let's hope she doesn't notice, then there is going to be an awkward situation. Riley walked back to her seat and got comfortable just in time for her friend to say something else.

"However, wandering doesn't sound too bad if you are up for it. What shall it be? Explore the castle, head down to the village, or go back to the office and see what other students have arrived? Up to you, I'm easy." Riley tapped her chin in thought. Going back tot eh office would be boring because she's already been there. So we can scratch that out. She really wanted to explore the castle some more but they live here now, she can do that whenever. I guess Going into town would be best seeing as they don't have many opportunities to do so. So why not now?

Before Riley could speak her answer Alice had already given her another decision. "We could even wander over there and interrupt that awkward little interaction," Riley turned her head to watch Alice was looking at. Three people, one she saw at the office, the boy, the others were foreign to her. "Introduce ourselves, relieve tension, and what-not." Riley shook her head and turned back to face Alice. "No way. Adding more people will just make it worse. I'd rather just go into town." Riley said finally voicing her opinion.

"Hello again Riley. Find everything alright?" Riley looked up to see Jeremiah looking down at her. Her cheeks tinted a pinkish color. She hoped no one noticed. "Oh yea, everything's good over here." She said adding her signature smile. She felt like she's been wearing it all day. Jeremiah being the nice guy he is turned ti introduce himself to Alice. Riley messed with her fingers a little, a habit. She grabbed her dog and placed Caramel on her lap. She untangled her fingers and placed them through her puppies soft cream colored fur as a distraction.

Riley got up with a roll of her eyes and Alice's realised she might have come off a little brusque. Riley took her own tray away leaving Alice's, Alice figured she'd just leave it to be collected by the canteen cleaning staff. Alice smiled, if she and Riley were going to be hanging out it was probably a good thing that she be able to tolerate Alice's nature, so she continued conversation unfazed when Riley returned. She was happy to note that so did Riley.
"No way. Adding more people will just make it worse. I'd rather just go into town."

"Alright, so-"

"Hello again Riley. Find everything alright?"

Alice looked up at the new arrival, a young guy with dark hair and a drink in his hand. She glanced at Riley when he spoke to the red-head, she was sitting a little straighter in her seat and he seemed to have her rapt attention. Looking back at him, Alice gave the guy a quick once-over, not too bad I suppose. He was running his finger around the edge of his cup, and she couldn't quite tell from her seat but she thought that the liquid in it was stirring in time with the movement. Was he using his powers? It would be the first time she'd seen someone doing so since she'd arrived and it sparked her curiosity.

She was distracted by it while he and Riley spoke and almost when he began speaking to her, but her eyes snapped up from the cup as he introduced himself "Pardon my rudeness. My name is Jeremiah a second year in house Ruhig and you?"

"Alice Ender. Freshman." Aliced smiled in return. "First year, in house..." What had her papers said? Dr-something... "...Dreist?" Alice dropped her boots off the chair she'd been resting them on and leaned forward to rest her arms on the table. "Hey, so just a question, what's the deal with that?" She nodded towards Jeremiah's stirring drink. "Telekinesis or something?"

Jeremiah got up to get some more coffee and got distracted. He was talking to two girls that she hasn't seen before. Must be freshman.. she thought to herself. She sat there patiently waiting for her friend to return and fought off thoughts that tend to pop up on their own. Her phone vibrated signaling that she got a text message. Slowly she pulled it out to see who had messaged her. It was Kian. A friend. She was hoping to see him this morning as well. But seemed to be busy and he does have a girlfriend to worry about. So she wasn't demanding his attention. Besides. Jeremiah was just something that she required in the morning. Company without all the unnecessary talking. If Kian saw her this morning she would have snapped and possibly scare him away. She wouldn't want to do that. Kian was asking about lunch.
To:Kian
From:Lucy
Sure. Lunch is fine.

After the reply she started to pocket her phone, but then she started to wonder about Robert and Kyle. She hadn't seen them either. Robert and her don't really talk much, but Kyle was her closer friend. Her phone danced in her hands as she debated on sending him a text message. She wanted to know how he was doing. But at the same time he could be busy. And then it would be a pointless text message. Also she didn't know exactly what to write. Lucy was trying to refrain from sounding dumb in the message. She was left with a decision. Lucy hated making decisions. They made her crazy and she over thought about each one and ends up losing her mind. Same thing with questions. She never knows which answer is the technical right answer. Statements are easy to respond too. Not much thinking involved. Staring down at her phone she made the decision. She wasn't going to text Kyle. Lucy pocketed her phone and looked up at Jeremiah. He was still talking to the girls. Time to bring his attention back to me.. she thought.

Slowly, she stood up and made her way over to him. She looked at the girls, making it known that she has acknowledged them. Any sign of emotion that were in her eyes have faded, leaving just the empty green. Her worries have faded and she seemed almost automaton. Lucy usually looks like this with people she isn't friends with or just met. They fit in both categories. "Hi." she said simply to the both of them. Her british accent showing through. She has yet to get rid of it. Kyle and Robert still had theirs as well. But it was cute coming from them. It was almost obnoxious coming from her. Or most girls really. But her accent was faint. She didn't make eye contact with either one of the girls and she hadn't planned too. She fiddled her fingers and looked down at the ground. Waiting for Jeremiah to finish so that she could leave the cafeteria.

Knocking on the door to the headmaster Ryan's office, Kyle heard a response.
"Enter please"
Slowing opening the tall wooden door to the room, he entered the office. The room was filled with shelves of hardcover books, and different magical items that scattered on the table. Surely that was what he was expecting a headmaster's office to be like, a room filled with knowledge and science. However, he directed his attention back to the headmaster when he said:
"Oh, Kyle it's great to see you, I was actually expecting you"
Puzzled, by what the headmaster was speaking about, Kyle asked "Sir, What do you mean by you are expecting me"
"Well, I do realize you wanted to become an official member and work at the order before you graduate, is that right? "
"Yes, sir that is correct"
"Well, for permanent spot in the order, we usually only take alumnus, however, I would need to discuss it with the other member to see what they think before actually coming to an conclusion about the offer. However, I pretty much can guarantee you that you'll mostly likely be able to work with us next year when you graduate. Right now, to be honest we are actually thinking about putting you on the team of students for a special mission, but nothing is final yet" Headmaster Ryan explained

After exiting the headmaster office, Kyle felt a sudden pain in his head, a clear site of the day that Katherine, his girlfriend had embarked on her first mission for the order. Just as he heard the words "I'll be back in a couple of weeks, wait for me" from Katherine, the image disappeared and he was simply facing the same hallway he was facing. Again the thing with katherine was that nobody knew what she was doing, which is why nobody knew what happened to her when she didn't return.

Then he realize he has some freshman orientation plans that need to be discussed with Eleanor, so he sent a text to her
"Hey, Eleanor I was just wondering how the freshman orientation plans are going, I was thinking we could give a brief introduction to what their responsibilities are"

Proceeding down the hall he received a text from his brother, Robert saying he wanted his girlfriend, Annabelle to come to the dinner. Kyle has never really had a problem with Robert dating, he just hopes that Robert doesn't get too caught up with his relationship and forget about his career. He simply tapped a message saying "Sure, I'll probably ask Lucy to come as well, we all need sometime to catch up with each other"

After that he tapped another message to Lucinda, his childhood friend, inviting her to dinner
"Hey Lucy, You think you have time to have dinner tonight with me and Robert, we really need to catch we haven't talked for the whole holiday"

After a mostly uneventful car ride, Quinn was happy to be at school. He nodded to the driver, knowing his father had already payed, and exited the car. He was happy to be back at school, despite how he had made it sound earlier. Each bump in the road has sent a searing pain through his head, and though he originally wanted to talk with the girl in the car, he had quickly put his headphones in and put on loud music, hoping to sleep. In his lack had been the sack they had chosen to transfer Cah in. This way, no one knew he was holding a snake, and Cah wouldn't freak out from all of the movement.

Checking his phone after it vibrated in his pocket, he grinned lightly at the text from Annabelle. He wasn't going to admit it, but he was really happy he'd be seeing her soon. Since the plane ride, Quinn had been a bit shaky, but in reality, it was since his last interaction with his father, two days ago. The driver removed his bags from the trunk, handing Quinn his backpack and putting his wheeled duffle on the ground, before leaving.

After attempting to put his bag on his back, but not even being able to put the straps on without pain, he put it on top of his wheeled bag, and entered the school. The front hall was full of freshman. He smiled to many, recognizing some as new Kalt freshmen, introducing himself, but mostly making his way straight to his room, and dropping his stuff off. He put Cah in his cage, turning on the heating pad, and made his way to the cafeteria, hungry.

He walked, his eyes on his phone. And that's why he didn't see when he walked into a chair, with a girl sitting. He hit it at a full walking speed, and instantly felt a rush of pain flow through his body. Quinn tried to mutter a sorry to the girl in the chair, his breath cutting off halfway through the word as he inhaled sharply, his eyes cringing. He could feel each cut on his back, each place the belt had hit him sting on it's own. The back of his black sweater was slightly damp in a few places from them opening on the ride here. Forcing his eyes open, Quinn said a quick "Sorry," before walking off quickly. He went to the closest wall, resting against it, breathing. Shit, his back hurt.

His eyes shot back to the chair he'd bumped into, looking over the girl in the chair. He didn't recognize her, so she was probably a freshman. Her hair was dark, and her eyes were a bright blue, traced in what Quinn had learned to be eyeliner, from his sister. He'd hope she wouldn't remember his embarrassing interaction.

Astrid watched with a blank stare as Kian paid for the check and they made their way out of the restaurant.

"Uh, Ki, I had a really good time, but I think we should head back." Astrid had never felt like this before; she was very uncomfortable and it made her want to melt into the ground.

It wasn't Kian, in fact, his arm around her made her stomach do somersaults. She led him back to the car, all she wanted to do was get into class so that she could get to Headmaster Ryan before independent study; he was the only one she could trust with the information. But he was probably busy, and she believed not thinking about it would help.

She drove quickly and mostly in silence. It was the only thing her ego would let her do. Once they were parked, Astrid bit her lip. "I'll see you later, Ki," She smiled, planting a quick kiss on his cheek, and hopped out her car. She whipped out her cell phone and found the one person that could get her mind off of things: Andrei.

To: Andy Stepanov
From: Star

Hey Andy, it's Star. You busy tonight? I still have some vodka left from last time.

Astrid turned on her heel and walked inside the school. It took her a few seconds to actually walk past Headmaster's office and into the cafeteria to find Tiffany. She found her in the tricking corner, where she was almost always at. "What are you planning, Tiff?" Astrid asked as she walked up next to the girl, hands crossed in front of her chest with a smirk.

Tiff was the girl Astrid went to when she wanted to get into a little trouble, and lately, since Annabelle and Robert had been spending a lot more time together, Astrid had been doing the same with Tiff and Kian.

Astrid joined her on the windowsill. "Tiff, if you had the choice between someone you really like and someone you have sex with, who would you choose?" Usually this was something she would do with Annabelle, considering she was more sensitive and knowing of romance; however, Annabelle was with Robert at the moment and she couldn't exactly own up to her feelings for Kian just yet. For the moment, she wanted to have fun and forget about her problems. That required the help of Tiff and Andrei.

She snapped off a quick text and in a few minutes, a scraggly, skinny kid gave her a skinny vanilla latte. "So, what's the plan, mi amiga?"
