{Setting}

Marbrooke – Maine. A large town on the Atlantic Coast surrounded with vast forests and chilly weather.

{Basic Storyline}

Marbrooke, Maine is a large town, enough to have a thriving community on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean with vast forests surrounding the rest of it. Here, they have many colleges, two malls, and enough businesses to keep it alive. But this town isn't only home to humans. It's also home to four bloodlines, all belonging to powerful witches that have just emerged into their prime as they are about to go through the temptation of black magic. The community of witches there all have been trying to rise to power, but only these four really have the potential, but the impact it could have on Marbrooke and other towns is deadly for their auras and their abilities are growing at an insanely fast rate due to their pure bloodlines. But here, in this town of trees and rocky ocean beaches, they will always find something else. Or something else will find them. Familiars, some born here and some journeyed from other cities to find them, each picking their witch and attaching themselves in a physical contact that will form a bond that is more intense then anything felt before. It is said to be the melding of souls, the attachment of life or death, for the familiar is to serve and protect the witch at all costs. For the the familiar dies, the witch will go on living. But if the witch dies, he/she will perish along with their familiar. But can they resist the temptation to be more then companions, protectors, and break the most forbidden rule of all time among magic users?

Familiars

Image

Familiars are the protectors and companions of witches, born with the power to turn into one certain animal of one certain appearance, and the ability to turn into human form of one human appearance. They can turn between animal and human at will, usually picking an animal that can be legally domesticated and has the ability to actually harm an enemy that decides to attack their witch, but they have been known to be born in more docile forms and even wild forms of animal, from rabbit to wolf but usually attempt to be domestic instead of wild as it is easier to approach their witch and follow them around in the modern world. Familiars choose their witch, it is not the other way around, and once this is done by a ritual of physical contact and consent, the witch and the familiar will be bonded for life. It is said to be a melding of souls, becoming one, being able to reach each other's thoughts and communicate telepathically with each other and sense one one another is in danger and feel each other's emotions. If a witch dies, so will their familiar. But if a familiar dies, the witch will live on and can find another familiar. Familiars often also have some sort of small gift that could be a witch's main power, like telekinesis or some sort of elemental power but it is more restricted then the witch's powers and only used in dire need. When a familiar finds their witch, they get strong visions and emotions, stronger then they've ever felt before and use the power of vision to communicate and establish contact.

Witches

Image

Witches are one of the most powerful mortal beings gifted with supernatural abilities on the earth. Normal things can kill them, like bullets and any sort of blade, ect. but they are quite good at defense with different sorts of magics. Although a witch can learn many different abilities, they are gifted with a natural born ability, magic, that will be more powerful then the other types of magic and gifts they practice. Witches usually begin noticing their abilities at a young age, and if they do possess it, it means many ancestors and relatives they have or had also possess this ability and that makes it a bloodline. Although some magic skips some generations, most witches tend to know when this happens, and avoid other witches due to the very large aura powerful witches can possess which causes rivalry and competition for power as well as the attention of black magic that tempts many young witches into going bad which can be devastating to towns, depending on the witch. The most powerful relic a witch can have is their Grimoire, a book of magic passed from witch to witch within their family; which gives them access to powerful spells, items, and rituals their family has attempted and succeeded in procuring and often also obtains warnings. When a witch has been chosen by a familiar, they will receive intense visions and communication, and often suffer from insomnia for the days that this endures until they find their familiar and complete the bond. Most witches who lose their familiars end up suffering great magic loss, and have trouble adjusting to life without them, some even taking their own lives. Their auras are extremely powerful, but they are subject to wound easily by mortal objects and poisons but often have a speedy retaliation.

{The Antagonists}

The antagonists are older half blood witches that have gone through their prime and do not hold as much magic as the pure blood witches going through it. Their objectivity is to corrupt these young witches, through whatever means necessary, to push them to use black magic and destroy the town of Marbrooke. They still hold grudges against the mortal families of Marbrooke for the Salem Witch Trials, which were extremely nasty to specific witches back in the day. Their goal is to ban together and make all the humans pay, especially the wealthy families that were mostly responsible for burning innocent witches and other innocent people who skipped the magic gene from their families.

Rules

Image

|| Commitment ||
I understand we all have lives outside the computer, but I want to make it clear that if you can't post twice about every 2-3 days, I don't think you should join the roleplay. I've had too many instances where people claim they can post and join but end up never finishing their character or never posting whatsoever so please DO NOT JOIN IF YOU CANNOT COMMIT. If you also need to have a hiatus/vacation during the roleplay, please let us know so we can figure something out, whether it's replacing you or playing your character until you come back. Just let us know!

|| Posting and Character Sheets ||
I expect at least one paragraph per post, and I expect proper grammar and decent detail for both your posts and your character sheet. I can be picky, and I want to make sure you can type well and post well so that this roleplay can be immersive and fun.

|| Reservations ||
I will change faceclaims if you want me to change them, but I will not change the gender of the faceclaim you want to change unless you can really convince me. I expect a wip up in 24 hours after reservations and would like sheets to be completed in two days of reservations. If I don't see it, I will give your spot away unless there is a good reason why it would take you more then two days to complete a sheet. Try to make your character sheet detailed please.

|| God modding and Interactions ||
Remember not to god mod, don't do the whole "my character punches yours and knocks you out," It would be "My character attempts to punch yours, and if the punch lands right, hopefully knocks you out." Just remember that. And please keep drama outside the roleplay to a minimum.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask me.

Morrigan Blackwood
Image

Morrigan was standing behind the counter of Inspiration, the medium sized music store that was just filled with all sorts of different music sold in most commonly CD's, some records, some tapes, and a small DVD shelf that really wasn't the main high light of the store. She had her earphones in, obviously acceptable for the small owned business she had been surprisingly hired by. Taylor Momson's voice from The Pretty Reckless sang roughly into her ears as she swung her hips back and forth to the bass and the drums, singing along softly as she began organizing some CD's they had recently bought from some people since they did accept ones that were low on or were running out of. She sighed slightly as she put the last CD into the box and then put it under the counter, her head swinging a bit now to the beat while her long, black hair swung around her stomach. It wasn't a bad day at all.

She glanced outside, staring at the cloudy sky and watched as thunder roared around the windows and rain spilled down onto the pavement of the small parking lot outside for a few minutes at a time, before fading to a sprinkle and then picked back up again. A few people had wandered in this afternoon; usually they weren't that busy in the middle of the day on weekdays, so she really didn't have much to worry about at the moment. She was equally as relieved when she heard her phone stop the song and start beeping, signaling her ten minute break as she smiled and put her headphones into her pocket and grabbed her pack of menthols.

She continued to dance a little as she made her way outside by the side of the store, checking back and forth the empty parking lot before lighting a cigarette up. She loved days like this, when she didn't have to worry about getting a rush of people or her boss walking in on her. No, she was trusted enough to run this store by her self most days of the week. Sometimes, the boss's daughter would be in to help her which was great because they always found a way to sneak a joint at the back of the building and that just put Morrigan in a mood that was ... just great. She grinned at the thought, taking a long drag on her cigarette.

She blinked when she saw a napkin fly right in front of her combat boots,landing in a wet mess as the wind decided it became too heavy to pick up again. With another drag from her cigarette, she narrowed her eyes that suddenly turned a bright red and the napkin began to levitate in the air. With ease, her eyes moved over to the green dumpster not that far from the building, where the napkin landed plop in the bottom of it's semi empty base and she smiled to herself. She had nearly perfected her ability, and it made her smile with eager determination at her progress. Her powers had been quite intense lately, her dreams extremely vivid and the power of her magic giving her more confidence then it had in a long time. That made her smile.

She glanced down at her phone. She usually didn't take ten minutes to finish a cigarette break, and she didn't have to clock out or anything since it was known she was pretty good about her breaks. and it had only been five. She was getting a bit bored. Although she loved this job, working with music and having a pretty chill day most of the time, she was getting anxious to get some dinner soon since it was rolling around five and the store closed at seven. She sighed, leaning against the brick of the store and taking a drag that marked the halfway line on her cigarette.
"I'm thinking... subway." She said to herself, nodding as her stomach growled.

Rayne stood there with an emotionless face, he was in Fiction a small fairy tale or supernatural book shop, with a few things more. He stood behind the counter awaiting customers, he stood there staring at the clock. Six more minutes…. he thought. Then he could go to the back room and set up his reading table.

He stared at the small store he was inside, there were a few…no about all of the book in the store he had read. The book series The Immortals he really enjoyed, he felt similar to Ever. He smirked in thought as a melody played through the store, a familiar one. The song "Wake Me Up When September Ends." by the band he loved Green Day.

As the clock slowly passed to when he could go to the back room he slowly set everything up, he felt his stomach grumble. "Andi!!! I'm going on lunch break!!" he yelled walking out the front door heading to Subway.

"Liliana! Come here. It's time I showed you this."

Liliana lifted her head slowly from the book she was reading, before getting out of her chair that was in her kitchen. She wore an oversized jumper and leggings, paired with her black knee length leather boots. She knew her grandmother would disapprove, but didn't care. She hurried upstairs, as that's where her grandmother's voice had came from. Lily was slightly surprised that her grandmother wasn't wearing some super medieval wear, and didn't even complain about Lily's own clothing. Even more surprising was that her grandmother had the attic door open, and was beckoning her up there. Frowning, Lily followed her up there, and her grandmother hobbled along in front of her, until they reached the attic window.

"Grandmother? What's going on?" Lily crept forward after her Grandmother, who had picked up a dusty old book, and then blew the dust off the cover. Lily crept forward until she could read the words on the Black book cover, and her frown deepened. It read; "The Hawthorne Family Grimoire" in beautiful cursive. Lily reached out and brushed her hand over the cover, before her grandmother gave it to her. "Keep it safe." She muttered, before hobbling off downstairs. Lily stared at the book a little while longer, before placing it back on the pedestal.

"I'll read you later." She told it, before heading out. She was hungry, and didn't really fancy her grandmother's cooking that day. She grabbed her wallet and headed to Subway - she needed a good sandwich.

Elizabeth Valdine

The afternoon sun was high in the sky distributing its rays throughout the busy town of Marbrooke, many of its residents seeking a suitable location for lunch. Although not everyone was eager to greet the warming day as sunlight filtered through tattered curtains of a one bedroom apartment shooing away the natural darkness of the room. A noise came from the occupied bed a cross between a hiss and swear as the rumpled covers were tucked even tighter around the occupant clearly trying to avoid the greetings of the day. The war for sleep was shortly won as a shrill, obnoxious beeping made its presence known in the faintly lit room as a pale hand groped along the floor in search of the noisemaker. A few minutes of searching were rewarded as Elizabeth Valdine's hand clenched around a slim silver cell phone before slowly sitting up and flipping it open. Bleary golden eyes slowly fluttered open as Elizabeth searched through missed text messages and phone calls, a few snappish ones from her mother saying good morning which was received around eight that morning. Her messages grew more argrivated as her only daughter never replied back with one question in every single accusation "Are you sleeping your life away still?" . Elizabeth merely snorted before replying back with a short 'No' as she stretched out the tension in her back. Her day was just beginning at the adequate hour of the late afternoon.

After a quick shower, Elizabeth slipped on an outfit of sturdy blue jeans and a black tank top, while on her feet a pair of dirty black sneakers. Taking a decent amount of time on choosing her desired jewelery for the day, she settled on her favored pair of silver bell earrings and a sterling silver necklace reaching just to her chest. Her hair was tad too wavy for her liking as she ran a brush through the fuzzy mess, her fingers trailing on the bright pink portion. Satisfied with her hair's behavior she slipped on her remaining accessories of gaudy rings varying in shades of silver. A low rumble came from her stomach as she padded into the kitchen, immediately seizing the handle of her refrigerator before letting out a whine of disappointment as it was nearly vacant. Tracing her upper lip with her tongue as she debated the pros and cons of giving into her food craving. Poking her head out the window of her apartment, she felt a content smile slip onto her face as the sun caressed her skin.

Stepping out onto the busy concrete street, her steps surprisingly light as her feet slapped against the hot pavement. The joys of being a familiar part-time was a few adaptions that crossed over into her human form. Although there were drawbacks as she found herself having the most inopportune cravings for feline treasures such as freshly caught fish..not cheap days old product from some far off location. Thankfully the town of Melbrooke had a decent number of freshly caught fish every morning..or at least what remained of the morning catch as Elizabeth peered curiously at the various species of fish remaining in the present stalls of the fish market. The screaming of gulls made her grit her teeth as she attempted to make a quality selection much to chagrin of the burly looking man attempting to sell to the indecisive young woman. A sigh escaped her lips as her golden eyes flickered over each fish before shrugging hopelessly as the burly fishermen swore in exasperation, his irritation creeped along Elizabeth's skin as she purred "Forgive me, I having a trouble choosing from such fine stock..".

Desiree stretched for a long few minutes. But it felt so good. All her muscles waking up, and herself. Letting out a big yawn, she sat up in her bed for a few minutes before finally getting out of the warmth of her covers. It was after noon. She smiled as she watched the hand on the clock tick for a second, tilting her head slightly.

She shook her head, and walked into her big closet, with just enough room for her to walk in, pick the desired outfit of the day, and walk back out to change. After grabbing a pair of worn-in darker jeans, and a white button down shirt, she threw them on the bed, and stripped. Then, she put on her desired outfit, and walked to a mirror as tall as her, if not taller. Her lips pursed a smile as she looked at herself. "Gorgeous.." She winked at her reflection, and tried to run a hand through her yellow and red hair, but it was too tangled.

After spending a good deal on time of just getting the brush through her hair, she sighed, and went into her apartment's small kitchen. After grabbing a box of "Frosty Wheats", and a bowl, she ate cereal for her mid-day meal. She cleaned up after herself, putting the bowl and spoon in the dishwasher she had, and the cereal and milk away in their designated places. She leaned over the sink, feeling the sun's rays on her soft skin. "Time for a run.." She grinned.

Before she knew it, she was out on the sidewalk, in running shorts and a tank, loving the feeling of the wind through her hair. If you watched her closely, it was almost like she was a fox, her hair a blur of orange from the yellow and red.

Klaus Teppes

"A snake in sheep's clothing"

Noise coming in the dark, something melodic and heavy in rhythm. Klaus' ears, unfocused only in the first moment, picked up the familiar beat. He quickly identified the song as Goldfinger's cover of "99 Red Balloons", a song he drearily identified as the ringtone he had assigned to his agent. She was certain to be calling him for the exact same reason she had the past two weeks. It wasn't a conversation he wanted to have at all, and certainly not this quickly after waking up, a process he really had yet to finish.

The eyes came next, illuminating the world beyond his eyelids, Ivan became aware of just how dark the world truly wasn't at the moment. Opening his eyes, Ivan saw daylight, however subdued by the cloudy skies it was, streaming through the Windows of his apartment. He observed the time, eleven-thirty a.m., on his little digital clock radio before rolling to his left. Put into this advantageous position, he reached out blindly with this right hand and ensnared his cigarettes and lighter. Flicking his bic and sitting upright in one fluid motion, the flame sputtered out dye to wind friction. Swinging his legs around, he put a cigarette into his mouth. This time the flame stayed, and he brought the light to kiss the end of his cigarette, taking a deep drag of mentholated toxin. Smoking along the way, he passed from his bedroom to kitchen and started a pot of coffee.

At the last drag, he stubbed out his cigarette in the ash tray, and now with a cup of hazelnut flavored coffee, he grabbed his phone from his bedroom. No sooner was it in his hand, than it started to ring once more, the same song, yet somehow more urgent sounding. Klaus poked at the screen in the little box that proclaimed, "answer", and once more on the little symbol which switched it to speaker phone. "You're go for Klaus".

His agent Fiona's voice screeched through his speaker like some sort of enraged cat, "Well good morning, since I've clearly woken you up yet again. You need to get some god damned work ethic boy, your next book does have a deadline! And not that I need to remind you, excepting of course the fact that I obviously do, but that deadline is only two months away!"

Ivan let out a sigh after she had finished the first wave of her verbal onslaught. He didn't need this, least ways this early in the morning. He replied, softly and slowly but with enough violence so anyone listening knew he wasn't pleased, "Fiona, I've explained this to you before, but for your sake I shall explain it once more. Writers do not work regular hours, it is one of the advantages of the profession. A writer need only meet his deadline, something which the writer is near perpetually aware of. I AM A WRITER! I will sleep, eat, bathe, and write when I damn well please... Now, I know that wasn't why you had actually called, so what's new darling?"

A pause as she absorbed his words. They were harsh, but in the least they were true. Only with Fiona could he get by, talking like that to his agent. She spoke in a tone Klaus knew to be only adopted when her playfulness ran out, and she needed him to actually be cooperative, "Yeah, yeah. But seriously, listen, you've been in Marbrooke for almost two months now. No book signings or anything of that sort, nobody even knows your living there. We need you to find a local bookstore, give them my number and we'll set up a signing. The sales of your first two books are up, but if you can get local, well let's just say we'll all get rich."

Klaus smiled at that. Already he had more money than he needed to live his comfortable lifestyle. But a little more never hurt, and if other people can benefit alongside of him, well things could be worse. "Okay, I'll scope some places out today. Much love bitch."

Klaus was out the door by twelve-fifteen. Despite the looks, it was a nice day, so Klaus wore no shirt under his suit coat. His tanned chest greeted the world as readily as the jovial grin plastered across his face. People would usually look at his handsome features, sometimes at his finely tailored suits, like that black one with white pinstripes he was wearing today. This was typically a good thing, as it distracted the people he was passing on the sidewalks from his feet. Constantly barefoot, whenever it was noticed, Klaus would give some horrible explanation about the Spartan boys not being allowed to wear shoes and so on. The truth was, Klaus just liked the feeling of the earth beneath his feet, loved the sensation of being connected to the earth. Even while travelling as a snake, Klaus far preferred to slither on the ground than to move about tree limbs as snakes often do.

In his travels he ended up towards an older, less incorporated part of town. A strong aura fell upon him as he walked through this area. Feeling this primarily through scent, he sniffed about subtly as he strode on. It smelled somewhat similar to the rest of town, the stench old magic left behind, including the scent of some rather powerful, perhaps even pureblooded, clans of witches. But here there was a newer scent, similar to one of the older clan scents. And to Klaus it smelled absolutely intoxicating, like honey and burbuon. Following this eventually led him to a bookstore. 'Fiction' was clearly a local store, and seemed to be exactly what Klaus had been sent out to find.

Entering and heading straight to the fiction section Klaus was delighted to find his works upon the shelves. His smile only widened at this point, deciding this to be the only place. Turning his head around and looking down various aisles, Klaus was unable to find any employees, or customers for that matter. In the deserted store he called out, "Hello, anybody work here??? I'm in need of some assistance."

Rayne headed back into the store after lunch hearing a voice. "Hello, anybody work here??? I'm in need of some assistance.", the witch mentally groaned. He walked up to the front counter groaning. His greenish gray eyes looked a the man. Not the person, I would be caught dead with…. he thought as he stared. "What do you need?" he asked with a blank face.

He found himself looking up the man, in a checking out type of way. But he is beautiful… the ravenette thought. Hstood there, there was a magical tone to the man, an aura if you might say. His dark green-gray eyes turned full gray as he felt a spark run through him. The man was magnificent, he was like sculpture. Rayne felt his warm cheeks feeling heat rise form them he realized he was blushing like a school girl and her prom date.

"I mean, what type of assistance do you need? We have a psychic if you need spiritual guidance." he stated with an accidental cold tone.

Liliana's head buzzed with the possibilities of what was in the book. She wanted to read it, of course she did - but she had already stepped out of the door. Sighing in the rain and thunder, Liliana pulled the hood forwards once again. She walked down the path that lead from her grandmother's house, just below the castle and tourist attraction that her family owned. It was grand and majestic - something that Liliana loved. It was hiding so many secrets, Liliana knew that, and she wished that she could be the one to discover them, even if that was childish beyond belief. She was 17 now, and knew she had to grow out of her childish imagination - especially since her powers were getting more and more out of control now.

Liliana smiled as she remembered her secret, and as she walked, she watched as flowers sprung up from the ground, flowering into beautiful blue, red, and purple flowers. She smiled to herself, before checking nobody was watching, before heading off rapidly to town.

She was heading for Subway, of course, and stepped onto the busy streets of Marbrooke from a quaint forest path. She loved the woods, it was one place where she could her most easily controlled power, her naturokinesis, go wild. The trees were almost like her sanctuary. It was the one place she felt safe... And free.

Liliana almost walked into the orange haired girl that ran past. She got out of the way in a hurry, almost dropping her purse and phone. Sighing, she looked back before carrying on towards the Subway.

Liliana also passed the bookstore Fiction, and watched as two men inside began talking to one another. She wondered about going in to listen to their conversation, and asking about the Grimoire her grandmother had shown her - was it real? Or a cheap copy of some mythological book? Liliana had been kept in the dark about herself for so long, and now her grandmother was just handing her 'the family Grimoire'. She hoped her grandmother had finally decided to talk to her. She shook her head and continued on towards the Subway, before spotting it some way ahead. She hurried on and got out of the rain, before pushing her hood back and letting her black hair tumble past her shoulders.

Klaus Teppes

"A snake in sheep's clothing"

A young man entered the store just as Klaus had finished his question. The man was shorter than Klaus, no doubt about that, yet seemed to carry himself a bit taller. The only employee he had seen so far Klaus couldn’t help but wonder if the shop was always left unlocked when the man went to lunch. Regardless of the flagrant irresponsibility of the young man, there was something about him that drew Klaus’ attention. He was certainly handsome, no doubt about that, but there was something more. Something beneath the standoffish demeanor that made him more appealing to Klaus than he would ever dare to admit.

Although he had spoken to Klaus quite brusquely at first, there was an undeniable shift. When he had looked Klaus top to bottom, gotten the scope and really checked him out, there was a softer side that showed through. This came in the form of a blush, not something Klaus was anywhere near unaccustomed to receiving from the people he encountered in the world. And though it was only momentary, Klaus took note, deciding that if nothing else he had found a boy to have some fun with while he was in this town. As the blush faded the man made a comment, in a tone of voice that seemed unintentionally cold, “I mean, what type of assistance do you need? We have a psychic if you need spiritual guidance.”

Stifling a giggle Klaus responded, “No, no psychics necessary to guide this spirit.”

Klaus had never had a need for that kind of stuff, at least not before. Aware of only the basic facts about the life of a familiar, Klaus had come to Marbrooke searching for his witch. And while the town absolutely reeked of magic, Klaus had yet to find an Aura he felt a connection to. Until he realized that the Aura that had lingered in this place had gotten stronger when this young man had returned. Perhaps it was him with the magical energy that was so appealing to Klaus. But perhaps he was wrong, who knows, maybe he did need the psychic after all.

Regardless, Klaus had come here with a job to do, so he stood tall and straightened out his suit. As he did this the head of his snake tattoo was visible on the furthest end of his partially exposed chest. By the time he was properly adjusted the suit coat he wore had covered his ink once more. In his most appealing tone, and Klaus was as appealing a pure sugar when he wanted to be, he explained, ”My name is Klaus Teppes, I’m an author, and you’ve probably heard of me. Even if you haven’t it doesn’t really matter. I was sent by my agent to find a store here in Marbrooke to do a book signing at. My series is what one would call supernatural fiction, and seeing as Fiction is the name of your store, I figured I’d see if it would work here. So what do you say?”

"Your an author?" he asked recognizing his name and a blush once again appeared on his face. "You're the Klaus Teppes!!!???" he exclaimed with a smile. "I mean..you wrote my favorite book series." he said with a cold expression. He stared at the man, and felt a spark ignite within him, he lit all the candles in the room.

"Uh….stupid….automatic motion sensor candles." he murmured with a nervous smile. He walked around to behind the table of around three papers. "If you want to do a book signing fill that out." he said, he smirked as most of this was basic and personal information like sexual orientation, and phone numbers. He slightly tensed at the snake tattoo. "Is that a snake?" he questioned.

(OOC: I'm going to edit a snake tattoo onto his back the head would be viewable on the neck.)

Desiree suddenly snapped out of her running mind frame when a girl almost made her do a flip. She simply nodded her head, earbuds in her ears. She continued around the block, then looped back some 10 minutes later, and decided to grab some lunch. "What's around here?" She scratched her chin, pulling out her Iphone, and looked up 'nearby restaurants'. The all too familiar Subway icon popped up. "Perfect." She sighed, and started walking over there.

Desiree arrived at the Subway, the door slowly closing behind her. There was that girl.. again. Desiree thought it might be odd she ran into a second time now, but simply smiled, and ordered a veggie sandwich. Despite being an inner carnivore, she preferred eating veggies anytime she was given the option really.

She sat in the table by the wall alone, feeling odd as the girl seemed unsure of where she was, or looked so anyway.

Re: Embracing The Bond

I am just waiting for everyone else to post lol.

Re: Embracing The Bond

Just put up a post. Where did everyone go???

Re: Embracing The Bond

So sorry guys! It's been a super busy week, but I'll post now. :-)

Re: Embracing The Bond

Hey guys, been absent this past week, lots of reasons, no internet at home now, but I can still do this, just might be a bit slower on my end. Checking everything out today.

Re: Embracing The Bond

Hmm... I'll PM you, Dead.

On the other hand, loved the post!!! I'm super excited for this. However, I'm gonna post after school and horseriding tonight, because I haven't got enough time to right now unfortunately :c

EDIT: Sorry my post is so short!! I haven't got much time and I have a little bit of writer's block atm... :l Sorry.

Re: Embracing The Bond

@Sanarith- What's the idea?

@Marchie- That's fine. Got a good gif?

Re: Embracing The Bond

Can I play antagonist # 3 and change the face claim to Edward Herrmann? I'm definitely going for the "older" witch and I have a good idea for a character. Just like Dylan isn't the typical witch, Hermann definitely does not fit the witchy look. I sort of have a penchant for breaking tropes.

Re: Embracing The Bond

Well, I do have an idea for antagonist #2, but... I'm not sure about it, really. I'd still have to think about it and how I would play it out with her if I did go ahead with the idea, and even then, I'm not sure how much it would disrupt the plot... Hmm. :l I don't know. But I am SUPER glad and excited that we can start tomorrow! WOO!

Re: Embracing The Bond

I think we are ready to start tomorrow but eventually, I'm going to need two more people to help play the small parts of the antagonists because I don't think I can do three plus my main witch. But they don't have to be those face claims, I just chose what I think would be cool.

Re: Embracing The Bond

Loving the face claims for the antagonists =)

Re: Embracing The Bond

Ooooh... Love the face claims of the antagonists. Sorry I haven't posted on the OOC for a little while, it's been a busy couple of days for me. I am still super excited for this though! :-) When do we plan on starting?

Re: Embracing The Bond

I posted a description on the main page. They are basically half blood witches, older witches, who have gone through their prime of having large amounts of power and are no longer able to preform large spells and hexes like the younger pure blood witches can. But, they hold a deep grudge against the wealthy mortal families in Marbrooke (this is a town I made up, by the way) that was subject to the Salem Witch Trials and innocent people that weren't even magical in these families were burned and tortured. So, they have decent intentions but are corrupted by attempting to use black magic to get back at the mortal families and need younger, fresher power to do it. So, in the roleplay, their goal is to convert these young witches to black magic where a witch can gather insane amounts of power and massive spells, it just has some nasty outcomes and can turn someone into a completely different person. Does that make sense?

Re: Embracing The Bond

I'd be willing to play an antagonist if I knew a little about them first.

Re: Embracing The Bond

Any questions before we get going? I'm working on creating two or three antagonists if anyone is willing to play them. They are smaller parts for this, just to keep a plotline going after we get past the first half.

Re: Embracing The Bond

Alright we're just about ready. I'm glad we found people so fast for the other positions.

Re: Embracing The Bond

Just stopping by to say I'm still in this, but school keeps me busy.

Re: Embracing The Bond

YaY! welcome to all the new players here! I'm happy to see you :D

I'm also super SUPER excited to start :D this roleplay is gonna be amazing!

Re: Embracing The Bond

Hey, you guys! Um... I can rp as FC: Hayley Williams, if you need her?
