User: Alva
Location: Order of the Archon - Testing Grounds

Wynn held on tightly to Alva's leg as they were whisked away through the portal. In the blink of an eye they had been transported to an entirely new area. Alva put his hand on Wynn's head, so she knew that it was safe to let go of his leg. Her face blushed a bit. Alva just smiled at her and looked around the new zone. Thing's were finally moving forward and he could hardly contain himself. He slammed a fist into an open palm, and let out a joyful laugh. He glanced around at the other players. Over all he was pretty content with the team he was placed into. Thankfully he was spared from having to cooperate with Daimon, having Maria in the team was also a huge bonus. The other player's looked likie they had the ability to handle themselves pretty well.

"Here we are... trial city, filled with everything we need to test you try not to die..."

Before them was a labyrinth lit by the menacing fires of the seemingly endless mob's. This wasn't his first time seeing something like this, in fact Alva distinctly remembered reading about this place and watched one or two videos about it on the forums. He wasn't entirely sure what their objective was but he had a general idea. The one thing they had to worry about was the team's lack of a tank. Alva stopped to think about this for a moment, he figured the reason for such odd grouping was to test how well they could handle themselves without a crucial role. It was fairly ingenious, but it didn't change the fact that it would make things much more complicated. Alva always felt uneasy without a tank to draw the attention away from him, despite his great power Alva was quite frail, and having multiple enemies attack him was not good news. Thankfully, he wasn't completely at a loss, Maria was there with them, and she was one of the best healers Alva had ever seen.

"Alright then, looks like we got lucky." He said to Maria giving her a thumbs up. He then walked out ahead of the group, ready to be the first to charge in.

"Hey guys, I'm going to take position in one of the buildings... that is if we don't need any further instruction."

Looks like Alva wasn't the only one eager to begin the attack. He noticed a few other players ready themselves. Things were getting fairly exiting.

"Wynn, you know what to do." He said without looking at her, his gaze focused on the dungeon ahead of them. Wynn was enveloped by a quick flash of light, her clothes changing into her armor. Wynn now wore beautifully embroidered white robes, atop shining silver chain mail, her face covered by a faded blue scarf that draped over her shoulders down to her feet. Her hands held onto a dangerous looking silver spear that stood almost twice as tall as her.

"Haha, man I look good." She said after her transformation was finished."Mage mode active."

"So how about it?" Alva asked, "When do we get this party started?"

User: Mercurio
Location: Altar room

Mercurio looked at Darkstar a bit annoyed "I don't care about these people but onto the test." Merucrio walked past the fighting to stand in front of the main force that he could impossibly hold back but soon fluid tentacles of steel rose from the ground and the bridge led out a slight protest and bended over as these tentacles once where reinforcement's of the bridge but now formed a large V with spikes sticking out of the side pointing to the army before shooting towards them using a just programmed mechanism but this wasn't fatal to most instead it held the army back pushing and stabbing them as they closed on before the shape turned into a large iron man that with four arm's threw a pair of spell caster's down into the depth's as Mercurio walked behind him before the four arm's merged into one and a second later a large canon stood in his place shooting bullet's into the approaching crowd made of steel that the warrior dummies supplied with there sword but Mercurio was running out of manna even wile he had a large amount he didn't want to overspend on this early stage but he was planning to arrive first and the cannon formed back into tentacles that shot Merucrio into the air as calling up Zare "Knight mode positive." He formed a small blade for her just mostly for fun as he flew to the altar where the same tentacles cached him into a protective barrier where he set up six's smaller turret's that began to fire there spikes but the army was pounding hard on his barrier. The cage closed in and got leg's and arm's changing into a large spider with six's turret's out of it's back and sharp leg's and Mercurio in the head. He only had to give manna to gather the spikes not to move a machine. They swarmed his large spider a dummy crawled over the head ending up with a spike in it's eye's that then spread out into the head causing it to split but a spell caster let it rise again sooner than it feel out making it possible to split the head of the spider and grab hurt Mercurio in the process costing him 12 of his HP but he Zare stabbed the Mob in his neck crying from fear and excitement "I don't like this!" The spider missed a step and fell of the altar into the depth's but Mercurio had already left reusing the spider for a platform moving the turret's up there he had a regeneration that would take him just some time to get his manna back as he had almost nothing now but he gave his allies aerial support making a gun for himself and shooting from his high platform. "Rex!" He made another turret with his mind beginning to make a squad of them as he a tentacle of steel grabbed the blood priest and put him down bringing the platform lower "Jump down this platform or help me clear out the bridge. A pair of turret's grew out of the side's of the bridge having tree leg's each moving with the group to support them and Mercurio checked his manna lowering the speed that his turret's shot to just under his manna regeneration because he had almost nothing anymore but he could still move his platform over the place where the bridge linked with the altar clearing out the bridge by showering the approaching horde with spikes killing eight warrior's and a spell caster before turning to his normal much lower speed but he was just out of there reach so he could just keep shooting as he with his last spare manna placed a wall between the bridge and the altar with a door that could only open from the bridge side making is a easy thing to cross now "I suggest you people move on I can't hold them of forever!" He kicked the head of a warrior dummy that had jumped on one of the support's on his platform kicking him into the blackness under thew platform that began to bend over to the right from all the pushing it got.

User: Yasho
Location: Altar room

In all honesty Yasho was having a hard time keeping up with all the action going on around him, as soon as he had greeted the lieutenant he had shook his hand and said to him.
"No need to call me Lieutenant, just call me Gabriel." Gabriel had then chuckled and went into the fight, summoning all three of his pets.
That's a bit of a waste... he thought.

He looked around and saw others fighting, Daimon was fighting with his knight mode D.A and luring out and taking down a score of enemies. Yasho flet Sylvia pull on his arm.
"Can we go and fight now Yash? Please?" Yasho smiled, she really was cute.
"Ok... knight mode" Sylvia smiled at this command and then glowed slightly as armour seemed to spontaneously appear all over her, a light red in colour unlike the others who had red armour. As soon as the armour had appeared a sword also appeared, it was short and bent slightly to which some people would have thought it was broken, it was not. Sylvia's knight mode weapon was a boomerang sword, able to be thrown and then come back to the owner. It had taken quite awhile to get used to the weapon but now she was proficient with it.

They were about to join the fight with Azalia, who might get surrounded soon when suddenly someone said about finding an easier path.
"Yeah, we don't want to battle through cannon fodder all day..." then he saw Mercurio, the coder as some called him, start to hold back most of the incoming forces on his own, moving the platform so it was close to the altar, he set up a wall with a door and told the others to go in. The MOBs, as computer generated a they were almost seemed to acknowledge the coder and ran to the door, five warriors and two spellcasters.

Yasho smiled, now it was his turn. He ran towards the group and shouted for Sylvia to run with him, she did. When they were about a hair's breath away from the dummies Yasho shouted.
"SU!" code for 'Split up' he had used it in MMO's before. With that Sylvia went left and he went right. The dummies split, three warriors and one spellcaster with Yasho and two warriors and one spellcaster with Sylvia.
On Sylvia's side the warriors were just about in front of the spellcaster. She smiled almost manically and threw her boomerang sword, hitting and beheading the two warriors, then coming back.

Meanwhile, on Yasho's side, two warriors stayed behind while one charged at him. He smiled and drew Tuth. He moved forward into the charge and as the warrior and him were just about touching, Yasho spun out of the way of the sword, his sword spinning with him, and slashing the warrior in the middle. The two stayed, still unsure as what to do, like they were waiting for a command from something, or someone. They then started to run forward in two parallel lines.
Yasho smiled his eyes electric.
"Flanking tactic, not this time" he drew his second sword, Suth, and ran in-between them, making a 'v' if you looked from above as he sliced diagonally through them. The spellcaster started to glow. she was starting the spell.

Yasho knew he didn't have enough time to raise his swords to kill her. Though, just as the spell was about to finish, the boomerang sword came from the creatures right, burying itself in the creature's chest. The creature didn't die instantly so Yasho took out the sword and with no general remorse, kicked the spellcaster over the bridge and into the abyss below.
"Thanks" he said to Sylvia as she gave her back the boomerang sword "what happened to your spellcaster?"
"She... stepped out" both of them smiled; the door was in front of them now.
"Let's go everyone!" Yasho shouted "Go through the door, quickly." with that Yasho took a defensive position. Though that was when he noticed the scratch, ok well it was a light wound, it was on his right arm. He growled and smiled at the same time.

Wasn't quick enough For the wound he lost 18 of his available health.

Sylvia had also been hit, though ironically it was with her own sword, she still needed a bit of practice. She lost 6 of available health.

User: Altaea the Iron Maiden
Location: Altar Room

Altaea charged up the stairway behind Yasho, covering his rear as Spellcasters sent flashing debuffs flying in his direction like bullets. The shield that covered her body absorbed the curses, nullifying their status effects rendering them completely useless. "Giga Rayve!" She shouted raising the Ragna Wand high over her head. Bolts of lightening flashed downward in the surrounding area striking all monsters in range, causing minimal damage, but disorienting them from the bright flash for a few seconds. It also gave a 50% attack power increase to all players who were struck by it. She smiled, but as she did that a red warrior seemingly fell from the sky bringing his massive red sword down like a hammer. She had no time to react. Parfait rushed in, tackling Altaea sending two of them flying back down the stairs a bit until she tumbled back onto her feet.

"This doesn't look...good." Parfait stated, eyeing the crowd with more focus than she'd give any usual situation.

Altaea eyes scanned the surrounding radius. She was stuck at the center of a group of incoming warrior dummies. She gripped her wand in her hand with the end of it which resembled a blade poking outward.

"Wand bashing?" Parfait asked with a mocking smirk.

"Wand bashing." Altaea confirmed. "We're going to charge through. Focus on the enemies in front of us. Don't let them slow our pace." She ordered. Parfait moved closer twirling her scythe in circles between her fingers on one hand. Altaea was used to tanking mobs when she did grinding alone, but this was on another scale than she was used to. Well, recently at least. Her spell would absorb all their blows, but the time she had left before her shield spell wore off was ticking away quickly. If they crowded too much and slowed her down before she could reach the top of the stairs then she'd be torn to shreds within seconds. "Go!" Together they charged forward, comrades in war. Altaea swiped her arms left to right knocking the warrior dummies away from her, creating enough space for her to wiggle through. Parfait worked her scythe in arcs, slashing upwards in a rotating assault.

"Almost," Altaea breathed through clenched teeth. They broke through nearly tumbling to the ground from their own momentum. "Don't stop!" she urged as a wall of spell casters came into view. Still running Altaea tucked the wand in it's pocket around her waist and grabbed Parfait's free hand with both of hers. She took a moment to swing her around and let fly just as the Spell Casters projected waves of light in their direction. Parfait sword above the beams and crashed into them like a canon ball. Before the mob could pull themselves together, Altaea pulled parfait to her feet and dragged her along huffing and puffing.

"That was a sloppy toss..." Parfait critiqued as they reached the top of the stairs. "You should invest your next skill point in strength or something."

"Yeah, whatever."

User: Daimon Rex
Location: Altar Room

"Everyone is getting ahead of us," Demona whined, "Come on." With a nod, they rushed off to join the others, dispatching any and all stragglers. "What a view," Daimon began to say, until a steel tentacle appeared out of no where. "What the f-," he began as it grabbed for him, pulling him forward. "Daimon!" she cried out to him, launching herself at the thing, slashing into it. "Are you OK?" At his nod, she turned to protect him, as he began to cast his powerful spell.

"This has gone on long enough, I do believe," he mumbled, and activated his third spell. "Demonic Sacrifice." Runes began to dance around him, as a pentagram began to form at his feet. His own voice gave way to chant in a language he could only surmise as Latin, but even then, it sounded archaic. The air around him began to spark and crackle, and a brilliant red light erupted from above him, showering him as though he were bathing in a fountain of blood. The world became crimson for him, and behind him, a terrible sound of something clawing its way into their world. Demona was already fighting something, but when she glanced back, she could see a large otherworldly hand erupt from an opening behind him, lifting him high into the air. The air crackled even more, and his entire form was shielded by a black aura. Blood began to flow from the ground, reaching for his form, and gradually entering the aura. Inside, a howl pierced the air, gradually becoming louder, as more and more blood entered the aura.

At last, the demon arm released him, where he slammed into the ground, kneeling in front of Demona. Daimon slowly began to stand, and the aura began to fade, revealing his Demon form. "Direct me," he whispered, and she pointed in the general direction Yasho had dashed off to. With a great howl, he ran, the Wand of Thule had slowly become a ruby sword, and he roared, "Yasho!" Leaping high into the air, he pulled back his right arm, and buried the Wand deep inside the door before them. Glaring down at him, with maddening eyes and voracious grin, he said, "Are you ready?" And began to pull at the door.

User: Tsuyoshi
Location: Order of Archon-Testing Grounds

"Why do I have to be here again?" The young girl asked with a sigh as she pushed a part of her silverly white hair out of her eyes. The man beside her pulled down his scarf so the she could see him smile as he gave his answer.

"Arashi, you know why we're here. They sent us an invitation, common courtesy says to show up." Arashi, being his DA, was half his size. which ment she had to look up when Tsuyoshi gave his answer. Which only made his smile seem smug instead of just a friendly gesture.

"Hmph, Technically they only invited you." She retorted after looking away from him. "They probably wouldn't care if I even showed up or not." If was her turn to smirk, since she felt like she won. But, when she looked back up and saw that he was still smiling, it was replaced with a quizzical stare.

"True," He began, "But, technically I'm not forcing you to do anything. If you want to leave, go right ahead." Finishing, Tsuyoshi turned his gaze torwards her awaiting her answer. She opened her mouth as if to say something, but after nothing came out she quickly closed it. Once again she broke eye-contact and turned her head away. "I never said I didn't want to be here." She mumbled barely audible, accepting defeat.

Seeing that the conversation had ended, Tsuyoshi turned his attention back to speechs being given. Because listening intently for periods of time wasn't exactly his forte, he kept nodding off in between them, waking up with the outbursts that followed them. Soon it became a tiresome circle, and appearently he wasn't the only one who thought so. After the man he vaguely regonized as the Grand General silenced the crowd of players near the front, Tsuyoshi just gave up trying to sleep.

As the group were being sorted, he tried to piece together what was happening from the bits of information he had heard. Just as he reached the right conclusion he heard his name being called. He made his way forward, joining his group in the circle. He saw that Alva, his friend and rival, was in the same group as him. But before he could say hi, the group was quickly being transported to their new location.

After awhile the platform slowed to a stop as it arrived at the new destination. Looking around at the new environment, He was instantly overcome with an eagerness to start. But its not like he was alone. He looked over at Alva, who made his way to the front, already raring to go. Chuckling, he walked over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Always the eager one, eh?" He said, "But, then again, who am I to talk."

He looked back at Arkus and flashed him a smile. "As you can tell, we're waiting for our instructions," He began kindly enough, "So, if you can, please tell us them."

User: Yasho
Location: Altar room

When Yasho has taken his defensive position, and after noticing his light wound, he found he hadn't come up here alone. A woman had come up behind him and shielded him from some of the spellcasters, he was glad for that and decided he would thank the women later, and also ask her name. She seemed to be having difficulty though with a bunch of warriors, though that was soon dealt with as she scrambled out of the marauding pack and ran up the remaining steps to where Yasho was, her D.A following close behind her, saying something about a sloppy throw.

Yasho looked around, wondering where the others were, the situation was getting no better and that meant it had the chance to get worse. He could see a strange, and evil looking, black aura on the platform, which was bent and now looked close to collapsing from the strain of having being pushed. The black aura then fell to the ground, knelling in front of an knight mode D.A. Yasho focused on the area where the aura was and saw it slowly disappear to reveal a demon, blood red in colour and with maddening eyes.

The demon spoke, though Yasho could not hear the words but when the D.A pointed to Yasho he sighed.
Daimon... no wonder he got that name he retook his defensive position ready for a fight, though really if it was going to be a fight Daimon had the worst timing in the world. Daimon came up to both the women and Yasho very quickly and leaped into the air, brandishing a red sword. Yasho was ready for a strike-

There was the loud sound of splintering wood and fragments started to come away from the door. Yasho opened what had been tightly shut eyes and saw that Daimon had stabbed the door. Yasho would have sighed with relief, he knew that in Daimon's current form he would not be able to beat him, but he didn't because Daimon looked down at him, smiling like an insane man and saying.
"Are you ready?"
Yasho couldn't help but smile, normally eh would never team up with a brat like Daimon, but this was a different, this was a hostile situation and in that kind of situation, or at least what he had been taught as a field cop, was to forget any differences between other cops an work together for the common good. He smiled again.

"Let's go for it Dai!" he didn't know why he used a shortened version of Daimon's name... it was probably just impulse again.

Temporary partnership achieved: Yasho & Daimon

User: Azalia
Location: Altar Room

Fighting was not really new to her but Azalia had planned on struggling their way up towards the altar, the fun hard way but other had different plans. Soon enough she saw an alternative route and although she would have preferred to kill these dummies and keep the fun going nobody else seemed to think the same way as her and in fact they began moving over the bridge. She didn't like being the odd person out so she turned spinning to slash open the chest of another with her spear before heading over to where the rest were. She wasn't sure if it was because they had such a group together or because these were rather weak monsters but she noticed that these enemies were going down with ease at the hands of her new teammates.

They also seemed to be on the aggressive, if so she would get on the aggressive as well, "Seria, knight mode..." The curious little DA didn't hesitate and she soon erupted in a white light and when it was done she was in an impressive set of black armor, though without a helmet, and she had a broadsword meant for someone of her size. She looked at Azalia with eyes that seemed to prove her transformation, "I am ready..." Azalia smirked, "Yes, let's join the fray then." she said before looking to who would need her help, the cleric woman Altaea and the two men arguing earlier, Daimon and Yasho all seemed to be pretty proactive in this situation and had moved on from the rest of the group, not that she really like leaving people behind, of course they had the woman who had said she was going to be flying around and looking for an alternate route. They had that now so she could warn if anything went bad behind them, useful indeed, she would leave it up to her and the rest of the group to fend for themselves, she would go help the forward party.

She began to make her way there, seeing one enemy moving behind them and she simply smirked, as it began to attack it allowed her to use her ability and charge straight at the enemy knocking it down and sending it sprawling down the stairs where Seria still was. She stabbed her blade down into it before calmly heading up the stairs, killing another that came towards her. She really changed in battle and Azalia respected that, from cute to dangerous, it was a good change in her opinion.

Refocusing her attention towards the group of individuals she had just joined up with she looked at them, two dps types and a healer, now they had a tank, not a bad little forward party as far as she was concerned, though the two men who were at each others throats were here. They were getting along though and she wouldn't say anything if they kept behaving. She looked at Altaea and smiled slightly, a bit awkward to do such a thing because she didn't usually smile in game but she was trying to be nice. While the two men would be at the door she would make sure to cover them from any attacks from behind and keep an eye on Altaea, it was not a good thing for them to both leave a cleric unattended and besides, they didn't need her help to kill things and if they did she could always use her ability to whisk to them in a flash.

User: Mercurio
Location: Altar room

Mercurio looked the door being destroyed "You could have just asked me you know." He moved himself to there location looking at the door that they had opened with violence and the door was sucked up in his platform but with it away the enemy would get there fair fight and they would swarm over them out of the room that held them there but Mercurio had his manna largely back again so he removed his platform landing at the side of the Cleric giving her a slight look. "I suggest you stay close wile I secure the artifact using a simple technique until you join me and please don't stab me again when I'm trying to pull you closer to your goal." He gave the large figure that was Daimon Rex's demon form told he this without any emotion or real reaction to his change because he didn't see it only a slight change of code and he didn't care "All of you are slower than I ever was you know hurry up." Mercurio sighed as he made a small platform that raised him close to the artifact making up a triangle that had turret's on every edge and long spikes sticking out of the wall that moved and attacked all that were close with another smaller triangle atop of the first one resting on poles firmly into the ground with turret's and Mercurio that watched the close artifact still not getting a clear view but he didn't care as he worked on a larger machine "Hurry on! Slow fools. Chicken chaser now would be a good time to work some more!" He was insulting them to get them to work better because he thought they didn't really work at there full power and he had heard of the Iron maiden wile he didn't want too.

He finished the machine standing still a second before it jumped into the air staying there for a wile before landing close to the group but atop of a dummy it had ten leg's ending in sharp sickles and a pair of long four fingered arm's sticking out of it's back that grabbed a warrior by the head and threw it into the blackness starting a quick slaughtering being that of the machine grabbing the the mob's and trowing them into the darkness with a unmatched speed being faster than there reaction time to make a clear path to Mercurio where he slowly pushed the army backwards. Zare was unsure what too do and just stood at Mercurio's side useless but not getting a mocking comment herself other than a disapproving glance.

User: Arkus Xithos.
Location: Testing Grounds.

Arkus ignored those who spoke to him for a while looking at the sky after a while he looked towards those before him a strange smile upon his lips. "Within this city dwells a demonic deity... so powerful even the Gods fear it's wake." He looked between the recruits with a clear sinister nature. "You must delve into the city and find its' soul stone... fend off its' minions as you travel to and fro delivering the stone to the alter for banishment. Their you'll hold the alter defending it against the demon's cohorts. Though once the ceremony reaches its' peak the Demon will throw all it has left at you... you'll need to survive until the ritual is complete or his forces are routed..." He lifted his staff into the air bringing it down. "Begin..." with that the ceiling above lit up with a brightness that seared the unprotected eyes of those below. Thousands of armor clad monsters lit ablaze in flame descended upon the city scattered... the dark city now became as bright as day and as dangerous as any dungeon.

It was then that a good twenty of the Pyreflare Constructs charged forward lit ablaze with rage at the trespasses of these living corpses. They attacked with clear intention to kill and maim.

User: Victiara Malidur

Victiara rolled out of the way as one flew over head sweeping it's blade across the air to strike at those who were still standing. Though the area had turned into an almost literal hornet's nest. She remained on the ground as the creature's fire distorted the surrounding shadows to much to step through them.

User: Gabriel
Location: Altar Room

Gabriel watched as the others started clearing their way to the door, he found the path they were taking interesting. He sent Spike and Valkyrie to give them a little support, Spike swiped and bit at every Warrior and spellcasters he passed, this forced them to follow him. He then stopped when he reached an area where the warriors and Spellcasters were crapped together, they were blocked because he was in the way. Spike then began striking at the warriors who were in front while two spellcasters stood in the back trying to de-buff him. When spike took damage Valkyrie healed him, she hovered above spike where only the Spellcasters could hit her. However Spike was drawing them to him, they could only see him. Spike then let out a howl stunning all the warriors and the two spellcasters, Spike then tore through the warriors with his sharp claws and fangs. He then charged the spellcasters who didn't stand a chance, one spellcaster revived a Warrior, but was then killed by Spike. The last Spellcaster tried to revive a warrior, but Spike taunted her forcing the spell to end and he then dug his teeth into the spellcaster finishing her. Spike turned to the revived warrior and began clawing at it, the warrior eventually fell defeated again. Valkyrie healed spike and the two went on to help the group, Spike ran in and howled taunting every monster in the area forcing them to rush toward him, this would give the others time to strike while they were focused on him. While Valkyrie began healing those who were injured. Gabriel turned to Lilith and said "I promise you will get a turn to have some fun." She sighed and said "Sure.." The two then slowly made their way toward the door using the path that had been cleared out.

Ace looked at Rika and said "alright, go bait a few into grouping up." Rika nodded and took off toward a group of pyreflare constructs, She slashed two of them in their breastplates gaining their attention. She then rain toward two more and did the same thing. While Rika was baiting, Ace was on the floor with Judgement, his sniper rifle, ready to fire, he had charged Explosive shot and has activated roulette to deal some extra damage, the wheel span quickly and then suddenly stopped on shrapnel, the perfect combo for a group. He fired the shot into a Pyreflare that was going to attack Rika, The shot went through the back of the Pyreflare, but didn't come out the front suddenly the Pyreflare exploded sending Shrapnel toward the other three Pyre, Rika then cut down the remaining three and stood there victorious, however two of the Pyre resurrected themselves. Rika didn't realize this till Ace fired a Shrapnel bullet that killed one of the Pyreflare and wounded the other, Rika turned around and plunged her longsword into the wounded Pyre killing it. She then ran back to Ace, who has placed judgement on his back. Rika smiled and said "thanks for saving me." Ace nodded and said "I'll always have your back, but you have to pay attention." She nodded and then Ace took heaven and hell, his revolvers, out of their holsters and readied himself for the wave of enemies approaching.

Ariel began paying attention once she heard that the tests would once again begin. Her Demoted Angel, Yrael, smirked at her.
"Getting impatient?"
"Like you can talk," Ariel retorted. She took her place at the back of the group heading for the Alter Room dungeon. She would watch the recruits and help determine where they would be placed once the testing was done. She knew by now most of them would be able to handle this dungeon, she just had to be sure to monitor how well each recruit did. The group arrived at the dungeon entrance and Ariel noticed a lot of people tense, getting weapons ready as they entered.

The Altar Room was huge, the walls on either side rose to a dome high above their heads while they plummeted down for eternity on either side of the bridge that crossed to the altar itself. Huge statues seemed to guard the altar, making numerous hiding places for monsters in the shadows. Ariel, though not intending to fight much, kept a wary eye as the group moved through the large, hall-like room.

She didn't have to wait long as a wave of enemies approached. Ariel sent Yrael ahead of her to have a little fun, Ariel herself began to snipe some of the farther enemies or enemies that seemed to be overcoming player-characters.
"Yrael, what are you doing?" Ariel asked, startled that her Demoted Angel seemed to be charging her, but Yrael leapt over Ariel, shooting fire at a couple of enemies that had been sneaking up.
"Didn't hear 'em over the battle." Ariel explained but Yreal's only response was a 'I'm better than you "Hn."'

User: Alva
Location: Testing Grounds

Alva had failed to notice his friend Tsuyoshi had also been placed in the group with him. It was good to see yet another friendly face. Together they waited eagerly for Arkus to explain their mission. After listening to him explain the dungeon it was finally time to charge in.

"Begin..." Arkus spoke as he slammed his staff into the ground and causing a horde of flaming mobs to charge the small war band of players.

"Hey Tsuyoshi. Last one there is a rotten egg!" Alva joked as he sprinted forward, crossing his blades as a clear signal for his next move. "Swift Cannon!" In the blink of an eye Alva had shot forward at awe inspiring speed, in an instant he was already sitting atop a dead Pyreflare Construct. His swift cannon had landed a critical hit and annihilated the constructs health, he stood up and shook his fist-daggers shedding the flames from the monster's insides. He pulled his arm back and surveyed his surroundings and prepared to strike at another target. Jumping off the fresh corpse, he flipped in the air in a showy display of his acrobatic prowess and landed atop another construct's head, then proceeding to ram his fists into it's face. The monster flung it's arm at Alva attempting to swipe him off his head. Alva back flipped off the monster just before it struck. After landing he lunged forward again tackling the construct and knocking it to the ground where he delivered the final blow. His punch breaking past the monster's armor causing a burst of orange embers to explode from out of the wound.

There were more enemies approaching him. Hopeful he would not be overwhelmed he stood his ground and waited for the first one to reach him. This one was different than the ones he had just killed. It was larger and carried a large and menacing blade, it's mirror like armor glowing orange from the flames of the battle field. The creature swung it's blade with hateful blood lust. Alva dodged between the strikes as best as he could, leaping over leg sweeps and diving away as it brought down it's sword with tremendous power. Alva found an opening after the creature missed.

"Omega Tempest!" Alva shouted as he unleashed an unending barrage of kicks and punches. Each strike flowing beautifully and effortlessly into the next, with every hit he landed, more power amassed behind his limbs. The final strike was dealt straight to the construct's head, Alva slamming both his fists straight down, the blades of his daggers carving through the metal. The attack failed though, and with a final desperate strike, the Mk I swung it's blade at Alva, striking him with full force. Alva flew into the air, landed on his back and began to slide across the stone floor, using the momentum he rolled onto his feet and recovered from the attack. An intense look made its way onto his face as he glared at the fool that had so luckily hit him. Alva sprinted forward and drove his fist straight through the monster's armor. The Mk I unit dropped it's sword as it's body fell limp. He side stepped just in time to avoid being crushed by the body of his newly defeated foe.

Wynn followed close behind him, careful to stay just outside his range so she wouldn't get in the way. Her duty was to watch Alva's back and make sure he wouldn't be attacked from behind or by ranged attacks. Thankfully there did not seem to be any ranged monster's within this dungeon. She avoided an incoming attack from a Pyreflare construct and was about to counter when another DA stole it's attention. She swung her weapon at the construct and began running, a small pack of enemies chased after her. Once it looked like they finally caught up to her, powerful gunshots tore apart one of the hulking figures. Then the other DA quickly dispatched the weakened foes that still surrounded her. Inspired by the impressive display of team work she returned her attention to Alva who had just punched through the hull of a large construct. Her eye's widened as a group composed of four flaming titans began to surround him. Quickly she jumped high into the air and came crashing down atop one of the creatures.

"Alva!" She shouted while she readied her Mage Mode spell, green light emanated from her spear as she chanted an incantation. While riding atop the creature. "Knight of silver, I grant thee power, to show thine foes their final hour. Thy mighty wind, it shall devour, thine foes which will now shake and cower." Her words echoed softly and beautifully. A green glow enveloped Alva as she finished the incantation. Wynn Pulled her spear from the creature's armor and jumped down to Alva's side. The creatures now crowded around the both them, Alva was surrounded by a Wind Aura, Wynn's spell. It granted his skills double damage for half the MP.

"Alright then, just try and hit me!" Alva shouted as he vanished into a silver blur. "Swift Cannon!". Alva moved faster than the construct's could react. Alva launched an onslaught of rapid punches on the Pyreflare construct's. Appearing for a mere moment to deliver a punch that overflowed with wind magic, Alva disappeared just as the monsters swung their swords only ever managing to hit the air where he once stood. The creatures fumbled around each other wildly swinging their weapons at the direction where they were attacked from, only to be caught off guard by Wynn's spear. The silver phantom and his demoted angle wiped out the four creatures that had once towered so menacingly around them. Before they could catch their breaths three of the monsters began to rise from their death. Their eyes spewing angry flames, all of them ready for round two.

"Wynn get back!" He shouted as he pushed the unaware girl out of the way of an attack. Before he could recover, another attack came in directed for him, and winced as the monsters blade struck its target. The constructs blade raked across his back leaving a bloody gash behind. Alva somersaulted between two of the creatures and made his way to a small clearing in between the numerous mobs. "Damn it, I need to be more careful if I keep going at this rate I'm bound to get killed."

"Hey!" Wynn shouted, "Why did you do that? That was so reckless!"

"I know. I just don't like seeing you get hurt." He said making eye contact with Wynn.

"I, uh, just, don't do it again you big idiot." Wynn blushed and shied away from his eyes. "I don't like seeing you get hurt either."

The monsters charged at them, but Alva and Wynn were ready for them. Wynn sent forth a flurry of wind attacks, lowering their health for Alva who roundhouse kicked the one at the head of the pack sending the monster flying into one of it's buddies. There was only one standing now, it launched a fireball straight at Alva. The flame exploded upon making impact with his armor, Alva winced, but before he could counterattack the beast was taken out by a ranged attacker. Alva was so focused on the fight he forgotten he wasn't there alone. Free from pursuers they both started moving away from the center of the fight so they could catch their breath. The Alva looked around to find that the other player's were expertly taking out their marks as well. He glanced around the battlefield hoping to catch a glance of Maria, he needed a quick heal before heading back into the fray.

User: Zero
Location: Testing Grounds

They had been transported to their testing ground, it was time to get things underway and his new team members seemed to think so as well. Arkus seemed amused when he told of their mission though, Zero had a feeling the man was going to enjoy watching them squirm and try to win this without a tank, a fact he was sure the man was aware of. He would let that slow him down though, his primary role was as a damage dealer but he could play the role of a protector as well, make sure to cover his teammates instead of concentrating on pure destructive power. Then again he was down a spell because of the nature of the Pyreflare Constructs, his flames would not be very devastating to these creatures, luckily he had two other powerful spells and despite her cute look Ceri was quite a fighter. "Ceri go ahead and go to knight form, I think we shall be following that rather daring guy who already ran ahead..." he said referring to Alva with a smirk on his face, he was going to like the fast paced action that was up for grabs here.

Ceri nodded and changed quickly, her clothing changing to a very sleek looking leather outfit and she was holding two medium length gladius blades and she twirled them in her hands looking up to Zero, "Alright, ready to move in..." she said smiling slightly but it was almost creepy with the weapons in her hands, innocence was not always a good thing. He was use to it by now though, "Good, time to have a bit of fun" he said with a calm voice and he began to walk, not run, in the direction the man Alva had went, he was not going to work alone, he would stick with another warrior of caliber so they could reach their destination, besides when he listened and looked around earlier while everyone else was talking he noticed the man had been friends with the healer Maria. If he was friends with a healer her attention would probably be on his a good amount of the time. As he walked towards the man, an utter lack of urgency in this situation, three of the Pyreflare Constructs charge at him. He smirked and stopped moving, giving himself a bit of extra time to get his spell off. His hands went together in an x shape and he began to mutter in another language, latin, just a touch he liked to add to make it seem a tad more exciting, and before they could get to him they were thrown back, hitting a wall with astounding force. "Your flames been extinguished" he said laughing and looking to Ceri, "What not a good one?" he asked, the look on her face one that was laughing more at him than with him.

Zero merely shrugged it off, choosing to instead focus on what was going on, from what he could tell the man Alva had taken some damage and while he was sure he could handle it himself they were teammates, why not try and make friends while he could, not like making friends was a bad thing, besides, if the man could stomach his laid back attitude they wouldn't have problems. As he continued walking that way one of the constructs was moving towards Alva, still a bit off from Zero, and another was moving to hit him in the side. He had trust in Ceri though and his hand began to build up a current of lightning instead of wind this time. Ceri moved quickly to intercept, surprising the single-minded construct and killing it with a stab movement, driving her gladius through it. At the same time as Ceri finished her construct Zero raised his hand, his index and middle finger both extended and the lightning built up on his hand was shot out in a literally 'lightning fast' shot which penetrated the creatures skull, shooting out the other side and causing the creature to fall and explode in a smoldering heap on the ground. He looked at Alva with a slight wave, "Hey there teammate, thought it looked like fun over here." he said casually as Ceri joined his side and waved at Alva's DA but turned her attention back to the battle after that, keeping her eyes peeled for whatever would come for Zero next, dedicated to protecting him.

Zero wanted to wait for this man to be able to move, getting to the objective alone seemed useless, if he didn't have some sort of backup he wouldn't be able to route the 'army' and finish the objective and he really didn't feel like dying, he hadn't actually died since he was a noob and he didn't plan on doing so now, hopefully not against any of the creatures used for mere training, though he had a feeling if he actually got himself into a straight up surprise fight with any amount of these enemies he would be in a bit of a pickle, he had destructive power down if he saw them first, as soon as they got close he was a very squishy character, living was not his strong point. So he kept his eyes peeled as well, making sure to watch out for any of these 'surprise attacks', the last thing he needed was to be defeated in a ranking mission. Still, he wouldn't leave his teammate here, even if he didn't say it directly, he was sticking close to the man Alva and his DA, him and Ceri both.

User: Stellar
Location: Altar Room

Stellar had no viewable reaction as the assigned groups were announced, with hers being led by DarkStar. Some of the names hit a chord with her while others only sounded vaguely familiar. The process of getting transported felt rushed but the sooner this was over with the better. "Welcome to the Altar, this is where you'll be tested in simulation Nation PvP." Stellar’s eyes shifted cautiously, no telling when the battles would initiate. Stellar had never been here before but the graphics impressed her further. She really felt like she was there lost in the moment and alive. She watched attentively as DarkStar pointed to the staircase serving as a bridge to a platform and her eyes didn’t take long to notice a bright light ahead of them that stood out in contrast to the surrounding darkness. “You see that beam of light? Thats your faux Altar. Inside it is a Faux relic and they are protected MOBs. Your objective is to fight through their defenses obtain the Artifact. Simple enough right?" Stellar couldn’t agree more. Sounded simple enough. As some mobs spawned in the area, she wasn’t shocked. Of course there would be fighting involved but she felt a bit at an advantage recognising the mobs from wikiEndSaga. Warrior and spellcaster dummies. Brilliant she thought unfazed. With the spellcaster ability to heal and revive warrior dummies, her idea was to eliminate all of them spellcasters first. No use attacking warrior dummies when they would only regenerate damage taken which would be quite frustrating assuming they would heal fast making them unable to really deal any permanent or worthwhile damage. She was aware spellcaster dummies could also steal health points for themselves, but it wasn’t like they were able to revive themselves. Once a spellcaster was dead, it was dead. Stellar looked to the other team members whom were looking more experienced than she in mmorpg hoping for a reliable tactic to follow through with. "I'll just stand here and watch. What are you waiting for? Get to work." DarkStar said finally on the matter as Stellar turned to her DA immediately.

“Mystique.. let’s get to work!” Stellar ordered, her boots returning to touch the ground as she bent her knees a little standing in a defensive stance with shoes shoulder length apart, her swords were positioned in the shape of an X in front of her ready to be utilised. The DA nodded with a cheeky excited giggle as she twirled around on the spot. When the twirl was completed, Mystique was in knight mode wearing black armour with gold etchings along the sides holding a small sword in her little hand that matched the appearance of Stellar’s own swords. Both the demoted angel and her master wore identical smirks ready to let the battle otherwise ‘fun’ begin. Observing the others however, Stellar felt out of place. "NOW!" she heard a player growl to her left to find the known ‘Priest of Madness’ advance on a few warrior dummies. Her eyes narrowed as she turned her head to observe the rest of the bunch noticing another tank in the group. The woman equipped with a spear attacked the closest enemies her way to clear a path or so Stellar thought that was how it appeared. She dared to question if she should even fight at all, or just sit back and watch the others take control of the situation. Then again, DarkStar and those others deciding guild placement would probably not be too happy about idleness. "No need to call me Lieutenant, just call me Gabriel." she managed to eavesdrop just as a two headed wolf followed by more creatures were summoned and dealt with the mobs. “Oh whatever!” Stellar said to herself, snapping out of the observations and charging to meet some spellcasters with the end of her blade head on. Mystique ran forward at her side as the duo focused on taking out the spellcasters first as if they shared a single mind. As Stellar stabbed a spellcaster, withdrew her sword to strike another coming from behind it did occur to her that the other players were already activating abilities. Maybe a more suitable time. she pondered as both her swords were drawn to her sides to meet two oncoming foes. An unidentifiable male DPS character called for the group’s attention with a newly formed wall and a door. Well that was.. out of the blue. ‘The Beast’ didn’t waste a second making a move on the mobs left by the door. "Let's go everyone! Go through the door, quickly." Stellar sighed unamused but did as she was told. The statues were far from welcoming in Stellar’s view but she continued moving with the others not intending to get left behind or appear dragged with them.

As Yrael covered her back, Ariel moved forward, flanking the group and taking shots at the enemies ahead. The group headed toward a large conjured door and Ariel found herself with a female warrior wielding twin swords. The warrior's Demoted Angel had a matching sword in her hand. Ariel had noticed that this warrior had held back a bit at the beginning of the battle but she seemed pretty confident in herself now. Ariel turned her back to the door, moving backwards to make sure the group was not attacked from behind. While there was a lull in the battle she switched to her daggers, jabbing enemies that were getting closer while Yrael blasted farther ones with fire.
"Good evening," Ariel addressed the woman, "are you having fun yet?"
While talking Ariel slashed a close opponent across the cheek with one dagger, but the monster had longer range and Ariel had to duck down and back to avoid decapitation. She checked her next move, wanting to see if Stellar would make the kill for her.

User: Maria of the White Wind
Location: Testing Grounds

"Light surround me with your incandescent zeal, Light guide me through the perils of this world or the next, Light grant me or whoever I deem worthy of your divine protection, Light shroud me in your protection!" Maria chanted, ending her prayer by slamming the base of her staff into the ground, enveloping herself in a bubble of dull light. Just in time too because as soon as the shield enveloped her, a sword made contact with the ethereal film. The sword of the creature stayed in contact for only a second before it was repulsed by the magic shield. Maria then looked over to Ysabel and nodded, a sign for her to engage in Knight Mode. Another light engulfed the demoted angel she emerged donning blue armor and a rapier.

Maria helped out by sweeping the monster's feet with her staff, causing it to fall backwards. Ysabel followed by stepping up to the monster and thrust three time with the rapier, two to the chest, and one to the head. Just like that, the beast was dead, and neither of them worse for wear. Ysabel stepped back within the protective bubble of Maria which was emanating from her person.

"Thank you Ysabel. I'd still be working on the bloody thing if it was only me," She nodded her appreciation. Ysabel nodded her welcome and pointed with her Rapier, "Over there. Zero and Alva have decided to skip ahead of us. Shall we join them? Never know when one of them might need a shield or a healing," Ysabel said with a smile. Maria looked over her demoted angel. She knew the only reason Ysabel wanted to move ahead was because of her damnable curiosity, but then again, she did have a decent point about Zero and Alva. Knowing him, she'd have to heal him soon. She smiled while shaking her head. "Men," She muttered while making her way to the pair, Ysabel in tow (Still within the protective bubble, just in case)

Before the pair met up with the men and their Demoted Angels. Zero, Ceri and Wynn looked unharmed, while the same could not be said for Alva. She frowned and stood between the two, allowing the protective bubble to dissipate and vanish. Ysabel took up a defensive posture near the the Cleric, rapier ready to thrust, sting, and bite if the time called for it. Maria on the other hand took a more nonchalant pose before looking over at Zero. "Did I miss something? We haven't been here ten minutes and he already needs my help," She said with a hint of a gentle joke. Still smiling, she placed a hand on Alva's shoulder and began another one of her prayers.

"Light, wrap yourself around this man, binds his wounds, ease his pain, rekindle the fire within his soul, and spirit away his fatigue. Light, return this man to as he once was, whole and complete," She prayed. As she did, a her hand began to illuminate, growing steadily bigger with each word she said, until it pulsed out into Alva and healed his wounds.

She retrieved her hand and looked over Alva with an approving eye, proud of her work before nodding. "There, try to be more careful next, yes?" she said with a kind smile before looking ahead into the city. "I wonder where the Soul Stone is?" She asked out loud, Ysabel shrugging. "I am willing to be that... It'd be in the center of the city. These things are always in the center, are they not?" She said, sounding sure of herself. That was the reckless streak in her, the cleric suggesting going into the heart of the city that was trying to kill them. Then she felt something pop her shoulder, causing her to turn around and wave her staff at the assailant. Ysabel. Ysabel, who was now laughing herself silly. Turns out, she had the blade of her rapier pulled back so that it'd whip forward and tap Maria.

"Aren't you the smart one," She said, still laughing, "How about it ladies? Shall we push into the heart of the city? I'm pretty sure the others will follow if we look like we know where we're going." She asked the men and demoted angels. Maria still rubbed her shoulder and glared at Ysabel with narrowed eyes. That hurt.

"Begin..."

It seemed like a simple enough task and a few soldiers had already jumped into the fray. Ianeon worked out a quick strategy in his head and told the others, "Like I said before, I'll take postion in one of the buildings. You guys for the stone I'll provide cover fire from above". With that Ianeon had taken out an orange whistle and blew it. At the same time Raul, the snake, slithered off of his neck and onto the ground. Raul was ready for action, but he was waiting for Ianeon's first arrow to be shot. In a few seconds a massive amphibian appeared next to him, and Ianeon hoped onto the beast. The giant orange colored salamander with black stripes had a glossy coat to it, but it's skin was not slippery at all. Ianeon kicked the creature in it's side and it let out a strange cry. He started toward a more stable looking building made of stone and as the beast approached the building it started to scale it. Others could now see Ianeon riding up a vertical wall to the roof. After making it to the roof Ianeon got off the beast, "Alina, why don't you switch to Mage Mode now"

"Sounds good to me, but my fire spells won't do much against these constructs".

"That's why I want you to cover me just in case one of them decides to throw some fire at us".

"Ah, good idea".

Ianeon now took out his bow and arrow with no hesitation and started fireing arrows at the MOB's down below. At this time Raul slithered around the battlefield and set his sights on an enemy target. The snake slithered up to the Pyreflare Construct and coiled around the armored body. Before the mindless creature and time to react Raul's muscles tensed and he squeezed the construct until it exploded into one hundred metal pieces.

Ianeon fired his arrows with expert accuracy hitting the MOB's either in the heads, knocking them off, or straight into the heart. He saw that someone had gone down and had shot some extra cover arrows in his direction until the Cleric got to him. He continued fireing arrows as the group below him advanced through the city.

Location: Testing Grounds

Arkus Gave his orders to the group, They were to find the soul stone of some powerful being and bring it to an altar for banishment. He raised his staff and slammed it into the ground."Begin..." The ground vibrated and suddenly the room was filled with skeletal monsters that were ablaze with fire, yet the flames seemed to not affect them at all. Zyriah drew his sword and examined his surroundings. A few of the warriors spread out hacking, slashing, and, for one guy, punching away, seemingly unhindered by the thick plate armor on the monsters. Even fewer of said warriors actually took the time to set up a plan. And he saw why. From the corner of his eye he saw one of the Pyroflare constructs running wildly at Zyriah, undoubtedly planning to attack him. He swung his sword upwards diagonally across the monster. His sword glanced across the monsters armor, but managed to throw him off balance. He took the opportunity to bring the sword down on the neck of the pyroflare. Rina was busy fending off her own monster, as was everyone else.

He decided the time for idle planning was over when he turned around to find a group of four Pyroflares making their way to him, trying to sneak in an attack. He whirled around and held up his sword, then charged. He ducked under the sword of a pyroflare and held the shoulder of another, using his forward momentum to vault over the monster. While directly on top of the confused pyroflare, He drove his sword into the top of the pyroflare's head. As he came down he wrenched the skull off of the spinal cord, holding the head at the end of his sword like a large menacing lollipop, He whirled around and used the sword to launch the skull at a pyroflare to his left, which collided with it with such force that it dented the armor, shattered the skull, and sent to pyroflare onto it's ass, stunned. It's flames flickered as it was dazed. Zyriah turned to the two pyroflares to his left, the one on the right being the one he had ducked under earlier. He stepped forward, sidestepping the downward glance elbowing the Pyroflare in the jaw. The other Pyroflare recklessly slashed horizontally across Zyriahs midsection, But Zyriah ducked under the blade, which caught the pyroflares comrade instead. Zyriah swept the monsters legs, and it fell down next to the downed pyroflare, And in one fluid movement, Zyriah stood up and drove the sword into it's chestplate. Zyriah had no time to revel in his accomplishments, A sharp pain in the back of his head made his vision flash white. Zyriah fell to the ground, He slowly turned to see the Pyroflare, It's chest plate dented with bits of shattered skull in the crevices. It had it's sword held over his head, but before it could bring it down a blade appeared out of it's mouth, then drew back in. The pyroflare crumpled, A proud-looking Rina standing in it's place.

"Honestly what could you do without me?" She said, making no effort to hide the over-satisfied smirk which lay her face.

"Shut up" He said, rolling his eyes. He felt the back of his head. No blood, but a large bump that ached to the touch. He winced as he got up turning to see the battle field. The monsters were almost completely eradicated, with only a few straggler being picked off. He turned his head to see the gunman, who, from what Zyriah gathered, was named Ace, a ways off, save his D.A. from a vicious blow. They spoke a few quick words, apparently unaware of the Pyroflare which was setting itself on the window sill of the second floor of the building next to them. It jumped forward, it's sword ready to cut into the gunman. Zyriah instinctively Punched the ground, Which gave way, burying his gauntlet. A half second later a giant spike, the same color as his gauntlet, erupted from the ground in between Ace and his D.A.. The spike slammed into the pyroflare, piercing it's armor and killing it instantly. The pyroflare hung limply on the spike. The spike slowly made it's way back into the ground as Zyriah drew it back. Leaving only the Pyroflare, A huge gaping hole in its armor and body, and the hole in the ground as the only evidence of what happened.

As the players continued to fight the Pyreflares Arkus cleared his throat. "I do believe the object was to run through the city! Seeing as this is home to a great and powerful demon you shouldn't idle... as the one who plays the role of demon is myself..." Fire rose around him as he stepped towards the initiates. "Phoenix Wrath..." The fire and magma spewed forth from around him in a wave consuming constructs as it hurtled toward the group. "Run... Run... as fast as you can... oh look its the gingerbread man." He smiled sadistically. "and if you didn't know what that means... more or less I'm going to cook you all to death if you don't get moving." He flicked his wrist as he hit his staff against the ground again more constructs descending downwards from up above. She turned wide eye at the massive wave of fire and magma that reached up a good fifty yards into the air. "Oh... you've got to be kidding me..." With those few words stated she entered the great shadow it cast around her and accelerated to a to the edge of its' shadow before conservatively speed walking towards where she assumed the soul stone was located and to her luck most of the Pyreflare constructs were drawn to those of her party actually fighting... well it worked out for her... damned monsters and their need to produce light! If they weren't so bright she'd butcher them all... or so she thinks.

Location: Altar Room

Daimon's eyes grew wild as the door was torn to pieces, revealing a path littered with fresh bodies to devoured by his Wand. "Your blood is MINE!" He howled, leaping into the middle of a large group of warrior dummies. The warriors hacked at him, piercing his flesh, but he didn't care, and as his life drained from him, he leapt onto one of the dummies, and sank his fangs deep into it, draining its life to refuel his. When the last of its life was gone, he shoved the body at the others, and howled in triumph. "Who is next?" Warriors began to come from seemingly no where, as he hacked his way through them, but when his life began to drain past fifty percent, he would jump onto another, and repeat the process once more.

The words of a new comer began to reach his ears, but they didn't make his head turn until he spoke, "All of you are slower than I ever was you know... hurry up." His rage began to boil then, both inside the game and out of it, and his form began to grow and shrink slowly, as though breathing. A red flag began to flicker above his head, warning everyone that a Player Killer was about to emerge. "Slow...?" He asked silently, then through back his head and laughed a booming, hollow laugh. "Slow?" His head turned towards the newcomer, "You are the one last to come to us," he banged his chest with emphasis to the word, then pierced his sword into the skull of a warrior. "The only one who is slow," he pounced onto a spell caster, "is you," and tore the body in half. The flag began to flicker faster, as he advanced on the newcomer, his body changing shape, and his rage boiling over tremendously. When he stood in front of him, the flag vanished, leaving him to deflate, with his sword pointed straight at his chest. "I've seen your kind before. You believe to be greater than everyone, even when you are a low level. You do not desire to be with others, but when forced into it, you treat them as insects, pawns to whatever goal you desire. You sir, are what gives us PKer's joy; ridding the game of maggots who have a mightier-than-thou or holier-than-thou attitude, such as yourself."

He turned his back on the player, began to walk back towards the battle, and felt a small armored hand grip his. He turned to see Demona, her eyes clearly stating that she was bored and wanted to see some action. "He is not worth killing," he said aloud, making her eyes grow wide with amazement. The last time he had stated this, was when a Player Killer began to slaughter newbies popping up in the starting area. He cared little for newcomers, and stated that those killing such are lower than dirt, then turned and left him dumbfounded. "I know of his class, Demona," he began, as her eyes drifted back towards the player, "He is a Techpriest, and most can control iron and steel. However, how can they control something which is not even there? Your armor is made of iron, yes, but the horn, spikes, and blades you carry are from me, and as such, are made from the same material that makes up my Wand." His eyes drifted towards the blood-ruby blade, then back towards her. "His magic has little power over me, and when your knight mode is switched off, he cannot harm you in the slightest."

With shoulders shrugging, Daimon raised his Wand into the air, "I am Daimon Rex," he howled into the cavern, listening to it bounce off the walls, "I am the Blood Prince." Blood from those who had fallen began to drift towards his body, slowly entering it, making the Wand of Thule glow brighter and brighter, "I have walked across this world, fighting any and all who would come my way. I am wanted in several major cities, for killing droves of players, guards, and wiping out whole villages in a few hours. I have defeated, and drank the blood of Cazic Thule, and earned my Wand and mount from him. These accomplishments may mean nothing to the lot of you, but they have given me infamy." His left hand pointed at his DA, saying, "Turtle," and watched as she curled up into a ball, with weapons extended from her sides. He gingerly lifted her up by the large horn atop her head, raising it above his own. "I am Daimon Rex," he howled once more, "I am the DEMON KING!" He leapt into another pocket of warriors, and watched as his sword ripped through a warrior, while his Demona-Mace bashed several others, tossing them high into the air, his laughter became crazed with each warrior and spell caster torn apart or tossed into the air, while his wand began to grow dim.

"Did I miss something? We haven't been here ten minutes and he already needs my help," Zero turned and looked at Maria, the healer was apparently good if Alva's earlier boasting, which he also had overheard like many of the other things. It was nice that she was around to heal, even if they didn't have a tank he could have some confidence that they would be alright. "No clue, probably just getting a bit ahead of himself, hard not to do when we have this exciting little playground. Not that having fun in a bad thing mind you" he said in his same laid back tone and looked at her closely for a moment, evaluating her as she cast her spells, they took a moment to be used with the wording, he would have to think about that, make sure that he didn't get into too much trouble when it would take her a minute to heal him. It was annoying having to think like a tank on any level, he would have preferred to just do his usual thing, not today though. "How about it ladies? Shall we push into the heart of the city? I'm pretty sure the others will follow if we look like we know where we're going." It was a good idea no matter who had suggested it, the DA was not wrong with her suggestion. He looked to the others, including Ceri, his own DA, "I second that option, moving forward seems logical, besides we get to fight more the farther into the test we go and I for one am looking forward to it."

"I do believe the object was to run through the city! Seeing as this is home to a great and powerful demon you shouldn't idle... as the one who plays the role of demon is myself..." As he heard this Zero started to pay attention, the words quite foreboding and as he saw flames begin to rise he knew something was coming, something unpleasant to say the least. "Phoenix Wrath..." A spell... Damn this was not going to end well, a mage of Zero's level and power wouldn't be able to do a thing against someone such as Arkus. "Run... Run... as fast as you can... oh look its the gingerbread man." "and if you didn't know what that means... more or less I'm going to cook you all to death if you don't get moving." It was a stupid pun but the point was clear, they needed to get the hell out of there before the now approaching flame was coming after them all. They would have to make it to the destination before they were swallowed up, so not only did they not have a tank but they had to make it through a decent horde of enemies and to the objective with a time limit. "Soon you'll know why the Sanguine Rose guild is the most elite and exclusive guilds around... because initiation is ninety percent lethality and ten percent skill based." That didn't concern him, in fact he just smirked, "Alright, time to get this show on the road." He motioned for the teammates to follow him, not that he would wait up but this would be much better if at least a few of them kept up, besides he would feel a bit bad if half of his team went up in flames.

Ceri was by his side as he began to run towards the middle of the city figuring that since they were told to go into the city, the stone would most likely be easy enough to find once inside, making it hard to find would just be ridiculous in such a huge place. As he ran the pyreflame constructs began to come for him, luckily he had lightning ready, building up on his hand for an attack which he soon delivered, shooting a stream of the fast magic through the head of one of the constructs and then blasting another away with a concentrated blast of his wind spell. He was keeping them at bay easy enough but he had to be careful, there were quite a few enemies and he only had so much mana. Trying not to get to far ahead of the others he slowed his pace a bit, not enough to where the fire would catch up but hopefully enough for the healer, Alva, and maybe a few more could catch up if they tried, if they hadn't given up. "Ceri, let's play a bit defensively, I need to ration mana..." Ceri nodded and immediately made her way behind him so they could run and attack in unison if more of the constructs came, which they did. It was at this time he hoped others would catch up, wasting mana when they weren't even done with finding the stone would not bode well for the rest of the test. Luckily one of the ones who got close was taken down with little effort by Ceri, she ran at it and slashed at it killing it but getting singed by the flames. "Come on team... I can't do this alone, don't leave me up front alone..." he muttered to himself, dodging the attack from one barely, punching up and doing some measly damage to one, taking a slight hit before Ceri could get back and finish it. "Thanks..." he muttered receiving a smile and nod from Ceri as his eyes darting around for some indication of the stone and preparing himself for more constructs.

User: Antony Tangent
Location: Testing Grounds

The beginning of the whole ordeal was quite hectic to say the least, Everyone had there own thing to do and they began to separate as quickly as this raid began. Antony stood back as the orders where issued and everyone tried to find there place, He held his D.A Hanna close by as she clung to he like she normally did. He reserved to summon Issok his disk mount to take a vantage from and watch as the mobs began to lower into the city streets.
What ensued next was a storm of attacks being rung out among the streets, He could see everyone doing there duty to keep the way clear for those to grab soul stone from its resting place and bring it back to the alter for banishment. Antony so did enjoy these kind of raids, Just go out find the target item and bring it to the target spot. No hunting this creature or racing to this section of the map or any of that crap. Now he smiled over the sea of fighting bodies to the tune of a great battle, One where the enemies came to them and the willingness of the players did not cease to rise.

He looked down at Hanna as she stared back up to him with blushing blue eye's.. "Hanna my dear, Mage mode please." She lightly bit her lip and nodded as a film of water began to flow over her shoulders and down her arms. Turning into a pair of arcane laced gloves, and small bracers of chain and bangles followed suit.

He leaned back on Issok causing the disk to rise ever more above the melee below, Doing his best to keep an eye on his comrades as they fought in case they came of need. Issok wasn't the greatest mount nor was it the flashiest, But it was fast and that was evident when he and his D.A began to quickly glide over the battle. He could see Victiara move through the mobs doing her thing and Ianeon had the idea of taking the high ground. Looking ahead of the group, Alva could be seen dealing with his own problems but could also see that the man he knew as Zero was not far behind that position. However the enemies where closing in on Alva's position. So Antony figured he had to act.
Feeling that he had remained absent from this fight long enough, Antony raises his hand and calls for his spell (Nitura Bain). He lets the spell fly from his left hand and it screams towards a small group of Pyre mobs advancing on Alva from an adjacent staircase. The spell strikes cleanly with the lead mob and soon its form is writhing with green moss and vines. The surrounding mods make an attempt to keep moving on but the spells effects take hold and soon all but one of the five is wrapped in its grasp. Finally the vines sprout spike like thorns causing the constructs to take slight damage, But they aren't going anywhere for the time being.

"Well these Pyreflares aren't so bad," He spoke out of the side of his mouth to Hanna, Only to have her tug on his robe and point him towards the three flying up from the rear and despite how fast Issok was they would soon catch him. So he turns on his disk to face them along with Hanna and aims his staff at the nearest one, Firing his repulsion spell just as it closes the gap. Hanna even manages to dissuade another with a large concentrated water blast, Which doesn't destroy the monster but does manage to dim its light by a large amount.

The two are about to attack for a second time until a large torrent of flame erupts from the battle field. Antony looks over the side and is quite surprised to see Arkus dirtying his hands with the likes of these mobs. "Hanna look.." He tries to direct her attention to Arkus's Phoenix Wrath spell, Which she is already very transfixed on.
"That's the kind of thing you never get tired of seeing." He jokes as he nudges her a small bit.
Albeit something to stare at for a while, He pulls his mount around and circles back, Taking care to stay out of the flames reach. He brings Issok to a stop almost directly over Victiara's head and leans over the side.. "You need any assistance miss?" Peeking over the side as he speaks.

User: Azalia
Location: Altar Room

Azalia just watched as the teammates surrounding her launched their own offensives and as a whole they began to edge their way towards the altar. It was interesting, observing other players that was, so much could be learned from even this simple training dungeon. Then again that was probably the exact reason that they were doing these training dungeons and using them for placement. It allowed them to place the players in a huge mess of enemies and new allies and see how the reacted, and hopefully adapted, to their situation. So far she noticed some good adaptations, characters who were trying to pull the group together, but also she noticed a select few who seemed to be too much of the solo type to really be effective in a group exercise. The ones that worried her and took most of her attention were those who didn't work so well with others. Among those players seemed to be Mercurio, someone who looked like he was trying to help but his way of doing things was very self-centered, doing things that were helping them get to the end such as the bridge but not bothering to bring the rest of his 'group' in on the plan, not to mention the insults just pissed her off. Another distracting member was Daimon Rex, he was too much of a variable, not the type to be controlled, or so first impressions told her. Azalia couldn't help but hope it was just his so-called 'demonic' form that was making his act this way, an overly aggressive, highly overconfident ass whose only concern seemed to be reeking havoc on whatever came into his line of sight. While it was clearing away some monsters he had to run out of fuel eventually and if he got himself into a tight spot he would be more of a liability than an asset.

At least she had some more solid looking teammates as well though, the healer Altaea, Yasho seemed to be a bit hectic but team oriented, then there was Gabriel who without even trying that hard seemed to be helping them out a great deal, his beasts taking down enemies like nothing, that was to be expected of him though. There were more teammates who needed to be evaluated though, the other Templar Stellar was among them, she would have to keep an eye on the other female tank and see how she was in combat. Her mind refocused on the task at hand though, not really being an overly aggressive player, usually focusing on making sure the enemies who wanted to harm those around her didn't make it past her and if they did making sure that they never got a chance to hit. With the aggressiveness of her team she had no choice but to move forward though, slowly stepping in the direction that the door had been removed from. She smirked as a single warrior ran towards her, an easy kill in her opinion and when she thrust her spear forward severing its head with the sharp end her opinion was proven correct. It didn't stay down though and she looked as it stood back up and swung at her, hitting her with the sword and making her angry, she hated being hit, as a tank it was what she was meant to do but she preferred to try and block. She stabbed her spear into it against, doing a second slash to ensure it went down once again. To her dismay it rose again and that was when she realized it hadn't just got up it was being healed, it's life being restored as it died. She looked to Seria, "Take care of the caster, I will take care of this thing once more..." Seria jumped towards her foe, moving fast and finally lunging towards the caster, her sword sinking into it and then out the other side. At that Azalia took her spear and once more decapitated her opponent, its body falling to the ground and finally staying down. "Nice Seria now..." She stopped short as a warriors blade went down and hit Seria in the back, Azalia in a rage used her ability and was there in an instant, dispatching the creature with a powerful blow. With it dead she turned to Seria, "Are you alright?" she asked quickly, getting a nod from the DA and letting out a thankful breath. As long as she was okay Azalia wouldn't have to let out her anger quite yet.

Apparently letting out anger was precisely what Daimon was doing though, letting out the crazed attacks, reckless and dangerous for the group. If he was taken down they would have to go rescue him and even if she didn't think he was worthy of saving she would be honor-bound to do just that. In an effort to stop a 'rescue' from having to take place in the future, she began to make her way towards him, killing any remaining enemies that he left behind in his rampage. He hoped the others would follow in-suit though, thinking if they all pushed up, even if they had to go at Daimon's quick tempo, they would have much better chances. Daimon's ego seemed to be getting the better of him though as he began to shout crap about being some kind of Demon King, bragging about killing players and destroying cities. All Azalia could think about was that someone was not only full of them self but a little delusional making such a big deal about doing it. Not that it really mattered to her, if he continued on like a crazy she would likely just mute him. For now she had to focus, they had to get to the altar, all of them, and they needed to do it quick, people only had so much mana, they couldn't hold out forever, a long time maybe but who knew exactly what the rest of this dungeon had in store for them, she highly doubted the level of challenge would remain constant, this was inevitably going to become more difficult.

User: Yasho
Location: Altar Room

Shortly after Yasho and Daimon had made, unlikely, temporary partnership, others had started to come and help them. Well, ok, some did. The first one that came, the coder, charged into the room ahead of the others, saying they were all being too slow. Yasho wouldn't have minded that comment so much but the coder was the same level as everyone, or most everyone here, he had no real right. Daimon charged in after him and Yasho sighed, he would go in a second, he had to see what else was going on. Meanwhile, another female had joined the group and shortly after Yasho saw a huge stone dog and a bird as they flew over to them, beating down MOBs and eventually coming to the group.

Definitely Gabriel's doing... i still think he is wasting his mana though
Yasho looked around again and with nothing else to hold his interest though he found himself running into the room as well just in time to hear Daimon shout at the Coder, while holding a sword to his chest, ready to impale. He was shouting about Mercurio being the, not really controlling, more the 'i-am-better-than-anyone', which Yasho agreed with.
"Look you two can argue about each other when we've finished the mission..." he said, slashing a warrior as it stupidly tried to run at him. "Sylvia!" Yasho almost shouted when two warriours ran to him, hoping to hit him from the back.

"Right" Sylvia said as she threw the boomerang sword and hit the two warriors, killing one and injuring another. She ran over and finished the job, though not before she had been scrape-hit by another sword. She lost 4 of her health.
She ran back to Yasho just in time for them both to hear Daimon ranting crazily about him being a PK and that cities wanted him and that he sucked the blood of his victims and that- well you get the idea. It annoyed Yasho greatly and he decided to run over and knock some sense into Daimon, though as he did he saw one of the females also come over and start helping Daimon. He smiled, at least they had one player who knew what to do.

He moved forward with the makeshift group when he saw the altar, it was very close but there was one problem, a blockade. Yasho growled, they wouldn't be able to fight through all of them.
"Guys watch out, I’m gonna try something" he couldn't use his skills, especially not that one that made him a marauding beast and gave him his nickname. He would use one of his pets. He calmly stopped fighting for a moment to recite the call in his head, when it was done light started to shine around him as he said
"Garg! Let's rock!" with that a hawk swooped down about the size of a phoenix, it stopped above the group as Yasho smiled, almost crazily and said "Feather storm"

With that the hawk went above the group, the feathers on it's wings, once soft and kind of cute looking, to an almost steely colour. Seconds passed as the spell took effect but them it was done and the hawk shook it's feathers, releasing a bombardment of metal feathers at the blockade. Taking down scores of enemies and leaving almost a clear path, though stragglers remained. Yasho smiled as the hawk came down and flew above him for a short while before disappearing and going back.
"Good job cadet" Yasho whispered to himself "let's go!" he shouted to the others.
