Image With Conrad coming in late in the year, the guy who was left being the Captain of the Basket-Ball and Volley-Ball team was no other but his Rival, Now that Conrad was back, there was never a choice for argument, he was the true captain of those teams. Jur had what Conrad didn't, just like Conrad had what Jur didn't, he's captain for a reason. The reason being his skill of sight and reading people.

It's good to be back, you know. He thought to himself as he stretched out his upper body, while having his hands up in the air. He might have missed school for the day, but that didn't mean he didn't make it in time for the sports events after school. Sides, it was better than school work, school was something he found a waste of time.

After putting his things away in his dorm room on the first floor, he headed straight to the Gym. Even after a whole year of being gone, this school still hasn't changed much. The only thing that changed was probably new faces here and there. And every time he ran into someone, it was an old fan of his. Squealing and asking where he's been, all he could say was the same answer. "I been over seas and now I am back, I dare say." It was the same with everyone, it almost started to get on his nerves being stopped so much.

When he was finally able to reach the Gym, the guys were already practicing. It was fast when a few guys noticed Conrad standing in the huge door way of the four doors that led to outside the Gym. "Long time no see, you guys, I mean." A cheeky smile parted on his face as he tilted his head slightly. Moving his hips to the left, while resting his hands on his belt.

"Conrad?!" They all shouted as the rushed over.

"It's been ages! How you been?! Where have you been?!" Once question after another came from each different guy all at once.

Conrad chuckled and raised his hands in defeat. "I been over seas, you know. We moved there a year ago, my family and I, I mean. It was something that I had no choice in, I dare say."

"So does this mean your back? For how long?"One of the guys stepped out of the crowed and up close to Conrad.

Taking a step back he rubbed the back of his head. "Probably until the end of the Sports Tournament's Finals. So it should be fine, I dare say."

"I wonder what Jur would do when he finds out that you're back? You know the coach wont have it any other way for you being our Captain. As amazing as Jur is, he doesn't match you and your eyes." One of them admit. "Still we couldn't have made it this far without him. He's gotten way better than he use to be Conrad."

"I wont take it, Jur's spot that is. Not unless he knows he needs me, I dare say." Conrad's eyes looked over his old and new teammates. He could tell right away which one needed alot of work and which ones didn't need much. The Finals are a big deal and if they want to make it, they need to train more. They can't always count on Jur or Conrad. Specially if they end up getting hurt.

Something caught his eye for just a brief moment, it was that of the color red. It stuck out sure, but the boy didn't. It was like he vanished with the air in the room. Him sitting there with a ball in his hands sure was odd. Part of the team huh? This sucks, I can't read him at all...Why?

He never once had a problem like this before. So already the kid took his interest in a split second. The boy was small and easy enough to break, but hard to see. Why was this? He had to find out and the sooner the better. "You kid with the red hair, who are you, I dare say?" He turned his head to see the kid properly, along with his body a bit.

Image Enma watched as the team ran back and fortieth through the full court of basketball players. It was freshmen vs seniors, least that's what the score board read. The freshmen were losing by 15 points, the score board showed 0-15. Of course it would, they were going against professionals. Lynxers basketball team is the one team people should take more seriously. In order to get in, you have to put everything into the game. No matter how much you love a sport, you can't get in if you don't try and figure out where you stand. That's like going into the game blindly and hoping to win.

A sound of buckles, made Enma's eyes turn to the front doors of the gym. There stood a very tall man, he stood proud but at the same time was relaxed and on the cool edge. What made Enma's stare prolong mostly, was the man's eyes. He could tell right away what this man was capable of, he'd seen it before. He experienced it before, eyes like those can never be forgotten. Not many have them, but it's the type of eyes that read..."I can see everything you do, I can read everything your thinking. I know what you will do, even before you do. So try me. Test me and you will lose." It's a very strong gaze, a gaze you don't want to be caught into on the courts. Most people would call these types of people "Eagle Eyes" on the any kind of court yard. Their ability is to product the opponents and see the full court of where everyone stands. Thing is, they can't use this trickery all the time, it's always limited to a certain amount of time and it's limited amount of uses. If one could break that, then they are know as a Prodigy Eagle Eyer. It's a weird name I know, but they seem to have a name for everything these days.

No time was wasted when the teammates all rushed up to the tall person. Mostly the Seniors took over the conversation. Treating him as if they were all brothers or childhood friends. Even this man's way of talking was very odd, it made Enma wonder where he came from and why he was here of all places. The conversation turned into a wrong direction fast, they were talking about Conrad taking someone's sport on the team now that he was back, but he refused it on the spot and ended it with a sly remark.

Enma almost lost himself when Conrad looked into his direction. They ended up locking eye contact and for some reason, Enma couldn't help but almost glare, but he controlled himself and just stared back. "You kid with the red hair, who are you, I dare say?"

Rubbing his left ear as he got up from the floor corner he walked up closer to Conrad. He wasn't the type to yell over the court yard or speak louder than necessary when it came to anything. "Enma...Uh, Zero'nick..." He watched as he could tell Conrad was pondering on something very hard, he almost looked as if he was thinking too much on something, but what could it be? Was it about Enma?

ImagePerhaps his tone did seem quite different from when they first spoke. Jurou wasn't naturally a rude person at all, he was just blunt but when he appreciated someone or was happy with them, he would show it. "Ah I see, well I'll be sure to spread the word for you. I may perhaps drop by and give it a shot at least." Jurou said with a smile. It was clear in his voice he was serious and he was always the type to have others trust him quite easily, whether he was being genuine about something or not. Unless of course he gave them that usual sly grin of his that simply came naturally. He couldn't help himself sometimes when he got pumped for a competition or some sort of challenge.

Once Jurou realised the new kid was gone, he too frowned as Haruka's sentence was cut short. "Dammit, lost him again. I get distracted too easily.." Well he had no idea where he could be now, he would try his luck at the gym later, seeing as how he seemed pretty eager with that Basketball. If he was not there, he'd just stay there for practice, plus word had gotten around to him that an old friend had returned who he was most eager to see.

His thoughts back to Haruka and her club plus the challenge. Of course he'd never forget she had challenged him. "Alright you're on. Once I have the time, place and challenge thought up, I'll come see you at the club, how about it?" Jurou replied with an eager grin, he was most excited about this and enjoyed the fact that she had challenged him. Whether he would win or not was not one his mind the most, but what the challenge should be. What ever he'd come up with, he'd be enjoying himself and hoped she would too. She was nice, he rather enjoyed how determined and serious her nature was and it was good to have someone speak to him like a normal person for once and not stutter all over the place like he was some famous person. It got on his nerves. Just because he was good at sports and what not didn't mean people had to lower their voices in his presence. Maybe he wasn't approachable? Did he looked angry or something? What ever, he should be thinking about it, pointless crap.
Jurou gave Haruka a short wave and a smile as she left the scene, he too made his way to the gym.

Once Jurou arrived he could hear quite a lot of voices making a fuss over something, an excited fuss however. Walking just a bit further, there he was. Conrad. Jurou wasn't sure how he felt when he saw him, perhaps a bit excited like the rest of the team but also on edge. He liked but hated this guy and it was such an odd feeling that he tried not to show. Everyone had silenced thought when Conrad called out to someone. The voice that followed, it was the new kid Enma. That was probably the first he had heard him speak, he was a rather quiet guy. Jurou made his presence more known as he made his way into the gym, he stood beside the rest of the team and simply looked at the two, studied them for a mome- god dammit why did the guy always dress so flashy? Maybe Jurou just dressed too simple but nonetheless the thought caused him to furrow his brow. The way he spoke too 'hi I'm so cool, I dare say', Jurou mocked the man in his head. He needed to stop having such thoughts before he started making odd faces to match them. Rubbing the back of his head, he lazily threw his sling on bag to the side, letting it rest against the gym's wall. "Welcome back Conrad. Have fun over seas?" Jurou finally spoke up, taking a few steps forward. All he could think about and concentrate on at this point was Conrad and this new kid. "Enma here's part of the team now. Only just heard about it in class this morning." His eyes shifted to Enma, there was probably a more tense aura around Jurou compared to before when they had met, this was only because Conrad was around of course. "Welcome to the team." He said with a warm smile, he hoped he didn't seem not very approachable. Yes earlier thoughts on how people might see him still lingered on his mind.

"Okay! I'll be patient! See you soon then!" Haruka replied and waved back.
"This time it went smoother. Much smoother." Haruka thought with a smile on her face. "I should stop judging people so quickly. He said he would spread the word! He even said he might give it a shot! He also agreed to do the challenge! It went much smoother indeed. Wait, isn't he the captain of the Basketball and Volleyball clubs? He won't have any time for this, but we'll see what the future holds!"

Haruka happily skipped to the fencing club's room. She looked around to see if there were any new members in the club.

"We have no new members in the club so far." Mei, the club president announced. "Did any of you at least manage to spread the word about the club?"

"I did! I did!" Haruka was waving her hand. Her cheeks started hurting from so much smiling. "I invited many people! Many, many, many! They all refused, but the club is getting more popular!"

"Sato..." Mei sighed. "Unless there are people who at least said they would think about it, don't waste your energy in pointless einthusiasm like you met Jurou Kawaguchi or something."
"Oh! He said he would spread the word and probably give it a shot!" Haruka said.

Silence filled the room for a moment.

"Sato, this isn't a matter of jokes!" Mei spoke.
"But that's the truth!" Haruka tried to explain, but none of the attention was on her any more. All she could hear were whispers that weren't even linked to the club.

"Hey, nice pendant, Chihiro!" A guy whispered to a girl.
"Thanks! Can you believe this beauty was at the lost and found? Whoever had lost this, doesn't deserve it!" Chihiro replied.
"WHAT?" Haruka's voice exploded in the room. "Gimmie that! Give it to me!" she tackled the pendant stealer.

The two girls were fighting over the pendant, until Haruka won the battle.
"Mei, can I be excused to return this stolen pendant?" Haruka's words were quickly shot.
"Alright, go..." the president sighed.

A loud and furious chase was shaking the hallways.
"Come back heeere!" Chihiro roared, almost reaching the one who took the pedant from her.
"Go away, you thief!" Haruka yelled back.
Both of the girls were tripping on their ways, or had trouble taking a turn, yet they quickly got on track as the chasing continued.
"Chihiro!... What you did... was wrong! I don't even know... how did you manage to take it!" Haruka yelled.
"It's none of your business! They probably... checked for it... while it was gone already!" Chihiro replied loudly.

After a long and depressing search for her pendant, it seemed that the poor girl had no luck. Even the lost and found didn't have it. It was almost time for practice and she didn't have enough time to search anywhere else; she couldn't even think of a place to check next anyway. What was she going to tell the girls if they see her without it one?! She would have to lie about it; and she hated lying. She gulped slightly trying to get the though out of her head. She would just say that she misplaced it in her room. Yeah, that will work until she finds it. If she finds it. She groaned before going and getting her uniform on.

She she got dressed, she looked around the locker room at all of the other cheerleaders having their usual conversations about what they did today and which of the athletic boys did they have a crush on. So far so good. She cleared her throat before smiling slightly.

"A-Alright everyone. Five more minutes then we head to head over to the gym and get practice started. I hope all of you practice the last dance because were going to try and perfect it today. Ok?"

The girls all gave her a nod and she calmed down a bit until seeing one of her least favorite girls coming towards her. Saji had been Aisuru's "rival" for quite awhile. Well, Aisuru saw her as a friend really but from the way Saji treated her, Saji didn't like her very much. Mostly because Saji wanted to be captain but Aisuru was just better.

"Whats the matter with you Kappukeki? You look more annoying than usual."

Aisuru sighed pushing the slight sarcasm aside. "Im fine. Just eager to get this practice started." She said with a slightly nervous laugh. Saji smirked slightly before pushing Aisuru agaisnt the wall and laughing while leaving the room. What a..... awful person! No no, Aisuru you shouldn't think like that. Why was she even still on the team? Aisuru wasn't in charge of who gets kicked off or not; their instructors were. But Saji treated no one else this badly, except Aisuru it was annoying.

She dusted her uniform off before sighing and looking around a bit. She would just pretend that didn't happen. She got her things and began to head to the gym. Her and the other cheerleaders began to stretch and prepare for another day of practice.

Image "Enma...Uh, Zero'nick..."Enma just stood there staring at Conrad, this time it was him who felt like he was being watched, his every move, his every thought, it all felt exposed now.

There was something about this kid that he didn't like and it wasn't just the fact that he couldn't read or predict him. No something,...something gave him a cold chill about this boy. It almost felt like the boy wasn't here at all, even though there was proof he was.

Conrad smirked with a chuckle under his breath when he felt a familiar presents. He turned to look at the same moment Jurou spoke up. This kid never changes, in their whole life of knowing each other, Jurou was someone who didn't bother to change. He liked who he was and he was going to be who he liked. He didn't care what others thought about him, though if they did think good of him, it does bump up his spirits. The only thing that kind of changed was his height, least he grew some.

"Welcome back Conrad. Have fun over seas?" Jurou finally spoke up, taking a few steps forward. "Enma here's part of the team now. Only just heard about it in class this morning." His tensed eyes shifted towards Enma. "Welcome to the team." He said with a warm smile.

Maybe that could have been something he didn't like. The kid was already put on the team before anyone could see what he could do. Is the boy really all that great for the Principle to put him on the team? What are they not telling us, or them the team? This sucked, nothing was coming from the kid, so there was only one thing left that conrad could think of doing.

"So eager to talk to this boy, you I mean Jurou." He smirked at Jurou. Did Jurou know something about this boy that Conrad didn't? This sort of thing, kind of made Conrad slightly pissed off. "Good to see you again, it's been a long time, I dare say." Conrad glanced over at Enma. "So you're good enough to play on this team huh? What did you get a free pass or something, from the principle that is?" He wasn't use to asking so many questions to someone, so when it happens he tends to push it all out at once, but, it's never really happened before. So he isn't really sure how this questions things works. Playing along was the best he had.

Conrad chuckled and lifted his left hand from his belt, sticking it up into the air as if to grab everyone's attention. "How about a game everyone, Jur vs the new kid that is. Let's see what this kid's got."

"That's suicide! Jur is our star champ! He'd crush the little guy!" A Senior shouted at Conrad.

"Haha, that's for sure, this bean sprout couldn't even reach Jur's hip let alone beat him in a game." A freshman laughed. Which made a few others laugh.

"Now now, it's the only way to truly test the kids spunk. With playing, against Jurou that is, the boy won't hold back and can show what he can really do." Conrad smiled at Enma and reached to take the ball out of the boys hands. What'da say kid, to the game that is, I dare say?"

Enma's stare was pulled away with Jurou's loud voice. Was it normal for him to know who it was in only a few seconds of talking to Jur?

"Welcome back Conrad. Have fun over seas?" Jurou finally spoke up, taking a few steps forward. "Enma here's part of the team now. Only just heard about it in class this morning." His tensed eyes shifted towards Enma and he was acting all stiff, almost awkward from before. "Welcome to the team." He said with a warm smile. Ah, there was that feeling again, there was something about Jur's smile that almost always seemed so off.

"So eager to talk to this boy, you I mean Jurou." Conrad smirked at Jurou, seemingly very agitated at something compared to his mood before. "Good to see you again, it's been a long time, I dare say." Conrad glanced over at Enma. "So you're good enough to play on this team huh? What did you get a free pass or something, from the principle that is?" Enma wasn't sure where he was going with the questions, but he didn't have time to answer, he was too slow at speaking up.

"How about a game everyone, Jur vs the new kid that is. Let's see what this kid's got." Conrad jumped back into his high spirits.

"That's suicide! Jur is our star champ! He'd crush the little guy!" A Senior shouted at Conrad. Enma narrowed his eyes, this was true, but did he really have to be called 'little'?

"Haha, that's for sure, this bean sprout couldn't even reach Jur's hip let alone beat him in a game." A freshman laughed. Which made a few others laugh. There it was again, but this time he was being made fun of.

Enma's fingers pressed into the basketball, causing his nail's to turn a white color with the pressure he was using. Being teased he was use to, sure, but he always hatted his height being made fun of. It bothered him to the core. Even if his face didn't show it, he felt it and it almost made his presents noticeable.

"Now now, it's the only way to truly test the kids spunk. With playing, against Jurou that is, the boy won't hold back and can show what he can really do." Conrad smiled at Enma and reached to take the ball out of his hands. "What'da say kid, to the game that is, I dare say?"

Enma had made a very stupid mistake, his mind was annoyed and agitated after being called short and put up to a challenge so suddenly. So he did what he did best, he passed the ball. It was an easy quick movement. Just as Conrad just barely started to reach for Enma's ball, it was no longer in his own hands. He had looped it around his waist and behind him and easily enough it was in his left hand for only a quickness of two seconds, enough to hit the ball with way too much force, causing t to fly towards Jur's chest.

It was all an accident a big stupid accident. He had done this out of reflex and before he realized what had just happened he couldn't stop the ball. He watched as the ball made it's way to Jur, and nothing but a pained sorry look swept over his eyes in an instant. The ball was way to fast and the force he had it with was hard, really hard. Sure he was small and weak looking, but it's only how he looks on the surface.

With a quick step forward, by the shifting of his feet, he stopped dead ahead of Jur. "Im sorry, it was a reflex."

The two members of the fencing club were still chasing one another in the hallways for the sake of a pendant. Haruka's face lit in joy when she saw the lost and found section. Almost laughing, she sped up. Chihiro also accelerated her speed. However, the girls had to stop, as they noticed a teacher right in front of them. They had problems with working with their own brakes, which resulted in a loud rumble ending with the three of them laying on the floor with dizzy heads and pain in their backs and limbs.
The teacher slowly got up and dusted her clothes off. She glared at the two students, who also got up, holding their heads.
"Running in the hallways is innapropriate!" she scolded the studenst off. "You crazy, crazy girls! What were you thinking? At least watch where you're running! This could have injured someone!"
"I'm sorry teacher! I just wanted to return this pendant in the lost and found!" Haruka replied.
"You need this fiasco for something so simple?" the teacher put her hands on her waist. "You'll be punished now! Right now! You two come with me this instant!"
"But we have club activities!" Chihiro moaned, squeezing her long black braids.
"Then you had to be there instead of running in the hallways! Take some responsibility!"
"The club president is going to kill us! At least let me return this pendant! Please, please, please, please!" Haruka begged.
"The pendant is mine!" Cihiro snapped.
"Shush!" the teacher interrupted them. "You had to think of the consequenses first! Now you'll be helping in a place that is very important to the school. You'll repay with solidarity to one of the things the Lynx academy is mostly proud of!"
Then it clicked in Haruka's head. All she had to say was...
"No! No! No, no, no, no, no! No! Noo!

Image

"Sorry to interrupt!" The teacher opened the gym's doors with a loud thud. "These two girls over here were doing innapropriate things in the hallways, so for their punishment today they'll be bringing you towels and water, will place the equipment, will help you however you say!"
Both of the girls covered their faces, as Chihiro did it with her hands, and Haruka - with her hood and hair.
"Keep going with your game!" the teacher smiled and went outside the gym, as she closed the door more carefully.
"It's your fault!" Haruka whispered and glared at the other member.
"My fault? Who actually started the chase?" Chihiro replied and glared back.
"Thief!" Haruka crossed her arms.

Jurou simply frowned and let Conrad speak, he had a quick and sharp tongue, this Jurou knew very well of. He was good at showing he was cool but was he actually keeping his cool? It was true though, it was odd that the new guy was suddenly on the team without any word of it getting to them. It was so random and unexpected. There was indeed much more to this, he was certain Conrad was just as curious as him and he too wanted to see more of his skill. Yes, MORE of his skill, Jurou had already witnessed a smidgen of it in class, when Enma handled the ball with ease, as though the ball trusted him and he it, it was pretty intriguing to watch someone handle a ball like that, Enma liked basketball, a lot, that much was clear to him. Even though he was silent and rarely showed any expression, this much Jurou could see, and it pleased him a lot to see someone love the sport as much as him.

Well, the new kid was certainly making much more facial expressions now as Conrad had decided on Jurou and Enma to have a little 1 on 1 match. Plus the some others spoke out with some rather irritating comments. Sure Jurou was good and he and everyone knew it, but you should never underestimate an opponent. "Oi! Shut up!" Jurou snapped at the others making smart ass remarks, shooting a cold glare their way that certainly caused them to shut their mouths. "Conrad, there's much more to Enma. I sa-" Before he could even finish his sentence, the ball was shot his way with much speed and force. Jurou's eyes opened wide with surprise and determination as they locked onto the ball, taking a bit of an uneasy step back he caught the ball in his two hands but holy cow, the power behind that pass. He stood there, shocked as he felt the rest of the world around him black out and all he could see was Enma who had just was quickly appeared in front of him. Shit so much was going on at once, wait, they were going to VS, this only just sunk into Jurou as he stood there with the ball. "Th-That's alright. Ha ha! Nice pass." Jurou stuttered out his sentence as he finally collected himself and laughed it off kind of awkwardly.

"I know Enma is good, other wise I wouldn't have casually welcomed him to the team. Conrad." A much more serious tone and face now as his eyes moved on to Conrad. "Enma could very well kick my ass in a one on one match for all I know, everyone's stronger as a team." Jurou turned back to Enma with a smile "we rely on each other." The thought of how well his team worked together made him smile. Sure they had their differences, but when everyone shared one goal, it was amazing how well everyone clicked. He paused for a moment, then spoke once more as the rest of his team had thought he had brushed off the challenge. "However. I see no harm in a little match, for fun." A rather keen and determined look on his face as his eyes made contact with Enma's, he stared into them almost challengingly with that usual grin of his. The look he gave him was the look of someone who was not the type to give up and would give it his all.Image

Image Conrad blinked and as much as he wanted to, he couldn't stop himself from looking shocked. He didn't see that coming, not even for a second. The ball was gone before his eyes and the kid left right after it apologizing to Jurou before even he could react himself. But as expected it was caught, but why would he need to take a step back for such a tedious thing?

Conrad straightened himself up, pressing his fingers to his lips, thinking hard to himself.

"Th-That's alright. Ha ha! Nice pass." Jurou stuttered out his sentence as he finally collected himself and laughed it off kind of awkwardly.

Conrad couldn't find any words, he had found himself too shocked, or was it surprised, maybe even taken a back, far far far back. The more this kid caught him off guard, the more he was interested in him.

"I know Enma is good, other wise I wouldn't have casually welcomed him to the team. Conrad."A much more serious tone and face now as his eyes moved on to Conrad. "Enma could very well kick my ass in a one on one match for all I know, everyone's stronger as a team." Jurou turned back to Enma with a smile "we rely on each other." His smile grew even wider. "However. I see no harm in a little match, for fun." A rather keen and determined look on his face as his eyes made contact with Enma's, he stared into them almost challengingly with that usual grin of his.

Conrad's face slowly started to relax a tad bit, but his eyes had become cold. Crossing his arms over his chest, he slightly leaned his body to the side as if leaning back to an invisible wall or post. He had become serious and this hasn't happened in a very long time. "Jurou." He spoke his name in a sharp tone, to make sure he was listing to him this time. "But I-..

"Sorry to interrupt!" A teacher opened the gym's doors with a loud tud. "These two girls over here were doing innapropriate things in the hallways, so for their punishment today they'll be bringing you towels and water, will place the equipment, will help you however you say!"

Both of the girls he had brought in covered their faces, as Chihiro did it with her hands, and Haruka - with her hood and hair.

"Keep going with your game!" The teacher smiled and went outside the gym.

the ladies fought with each other in an unappealing way. It had almost snapped Conrads last string. "Please do not cause distractions ladies. We are at a very serious matter at the moment, the team and I. Do excuse us all if we do not welcome you properly just yet, I dare say." He smiled at the ladies very sweetly, being as kind as he could at this time.

He glanced back over to Jurou, but looked away to Enma. "Tell me why I-..No, tell me who was the last team you had ever played for?" His mood dropped even more and his eyes had become daring, he had lost all joking around. Conrad was on his edg of his seat.

"Th-That's alright. Ha ha! Nice pass." Jur stuttered out his sentence, but then laughed it off kind of awkwardly. This guy was nuts, was all Enma was thinking at this point.

"I know Enma is good, other wise I wouldn't have casually welcomed him to the team. Conrad." With a serious tone, Jur faced Conrad. "Enma could very well kick my ass in a one on one match for all I know, everyone's stronger as a team." Jur turned back to Enma with a smile. Ah, enma could feel this one was a real one. It felt nice. "we rely on each other." Suddenly his smile grew even more true, almost warm. He paused for a moment. "However. I see no harm in a little match, for fun."

This was getting worse by the second.

"Jurou." Conrad's mood changed and spoke his name in a sharp tone that made everyone quiet down. "But I-.."

Enma failed to listen to the conversation that wasn't involving him. How could he at this point? His head felt so full that it wanted to burst. Why was this happening? What was to come of it? There wasn't a reason behind as to why he would go through with this. Enma started to feel eyes bore into his head like nails.

Conrad glanced back over to Jurou, but looked away to Enma. "Tell me why I-..No, tell me who was the last team you had ever played for?" His mood dropped even more and his eyes had become daring, he had lost all joking around.

Without a word, he tilted his head slightly as a pair of pure white ears appeared on his head. His eyes changed along with it as well, they had become a more eye catching red, but held sorrow within them. Even his face hard lost all interest now.

"The...Profiteers" Saying the word had brought pure pain to his eyes and a darkness deep within them, but his face stayed the same as it always was, emotionless and lack of interest.

He couldn't take no more. Walking off he picked up his bag and walked up to Jur, pausing for a minute looking down at floor. "...Put something on those burns..." With a easy tap under the ball, it flew out of his hands and landed softly into Enma's hands with no sound what so ever, including the tap of the ball. All that was left was a few red marks on Jur's palm of his hands.

His white ears flattened so far down that his hair hid most of it. Ducking around Jur and Conrad, he left the gym as fast as he could. The sooner he got out of there the better. Everyone who is anyone in Basketball, knew who that team was. No one liked a single player on that team at the time, the only ones who wanted them where sponsors, the media, other great national Basketball teams. Despite how the players acted outside or during the game, made no difference.

The Prodifiers a ruthless Basketball team, full of players who play the game only to crush on others who can't win against them. 2 years ago they broke up and went in their own direction. 2 of the 5 players still play in the Nationals. 1 of those fiver players was Enma, a guy who was spoken about at the end of their National win. The other 3, one had got bored of the game and started to play a different game, Lacrosse. Another had become a model in uptown Chokito City. And the last lives a normal life of a teenage boy, he got tired of the plausibility and he also hates people. The two that do play go by the names of Maxwell and Salvatore. Max's new team, is the team Lynxers have to beat before going into the Nationals. It wont be easy either. Salvatore is the guy they have to beat in order to win the Nationals. Though, winning the Nationals isn't the last game, there is known to be another game that everyone looks forward to. It's a secret game that will call the next Basketball Champions of the world.

It was a big challenged, one that Enma had to face no matter what. Even if he had to join a Basketball team, he was going to make this happen. But right now, he couldn't find the strength to do it. Thinking about the past had made him it rock bottom. He'd found himself crawling into bushes outside of school and before he could stop, he had shifted into his cat form. His clothes left in a pile around him as he wiggled free from his hoodie. It was a good thing he hid before he was found out.

Chihiro's eyes widened when Conrad spoke to them. She let out a quiet, yet long gasp.
"Isn't... Isn't that... Isn't that... Conrad? Fredrick? Conrad Fredrick??" Her whisper was almost mixed with squealing. A wide smile stretched her face.
"Who?" Haruka asked in confusion. By the time she started studying at Lynx academy, Conrad had already left. She didn't recall hearing his name trough the whole year. Probably Haruka did, but couldn't remember.
"Oh, being here only for a year isn't enough of an excuse! You should know about him! Didn't you at least hear about him?"
"Hey, hey... way to forget about everything that just happened." Haruka thought.

Both of the girls observed, as they still weren't asked to do anything. There wasn't a match in front of them. There was a conversation. The person Chihiro called Conrad Fredrick asked the new kid about his basketball past. Once Enma told the rest which was his previous team, his mood decreased so noticeably and drastically, it brought chills to Haruka. Enma took his bag and went silent for a moment, untill he told Jurou to take care of some burns.

"What the..." Haruka mumbled, squeezing the pendant in her hands. What happened to that poor new kid?

The girl gasped when out of sudden Enma ran outside the gym.
"HEY!" she shouted and ran after him.

What was that? What caused the red-haired boy to run away from a situation out of the blue? And where was he? She had lost him! Now what? How could she find him? It seemed like he evaporated.

"Ah!" Haruka's ears found a clue. "I... I heard something!" she said out loud.
"Please be close, please be close..." Haruka thought. "Ah!"

Her face lit when she found a white cat.
"That must be him!" Haruka thought. She didn't know how he looked like in his animal form, but she still assumed it was him. How many two tailed cats with red eyes could be seen in a lifetime? Haruka slowly reached her arms at him. The girl carefully picked the white cat up and snuggled it.
"Shhhh, don't worry, it's alright... You're the one who ran away from the gym, right? It's okay..." she spoke to him in a soft voice. "Everything will be alright..."
The girl scratched Enma behind the ears and started stroking his head.

Haruka was in fencing, so her culture about Basketball was fairly low. She had no idea who were the Prodifiers. What kind of a team were they to cause such a reaction from Enma?

Jurou always liked the idea of having a little game of Basketball with a new player, everyone on his team had at least gone up against him once, for fun of course, it was always for fun. He enjoyed it because it helped them learn, it was also easier for Jurou to show them what they may have done wrong this way too. Nonetheless it was clear Enma was not as keen as he thought about having a little one on one match for fun. Perhaps it was Conrad's doing as he had finally spoke up. Conrad was being serious now and Jurou knew he hated being in the dark about something as much as him.

After the little incident with the ball, his attention slipped away from Enma and back to Conrad as he had heard his same called in a quite sharp tone. He turned to look at the guy and as he was about to speak but was interrupted by a teach barging in with two female's. Who had apparently been misbehaving. Curiously, he listened to her reason for entering and leaving the two then studied the two girls as one of them squealed and got her hormones in a knot over Conrad, which was quite amusing. Wait, a second, is that.. "Haha, Haruka, why am I not surprised." Jurou muttered out loud to himself, not exactly caring if anyone heard him or not. It was funny though, what had she done he wondered? There was obviously something going on between her and that other girl as they were silenced by Conrad for being so boisterous in the nicest manner.

Once more, Conrad spoke up. And what he said was something Jurou had forgotten to even think of asking Enma. Of course he wanted to know what team he played for, it was something Jurou usually asked many times to new recruits, he was just too caught up in the excitement of a new team mate and all the drama. To be honest Jurou was very happy about having Enma on the team, he could sense he'd be a great asset. Perhaps not right away, but later, or even maybe he'd lose his touch later, but when ever Enma would show his full potential, Jurou knew everyone would respect him as much as Jurou and Conrad. Perhaps Jurou was being too wishy washy or too positive, wisheful thinking maybe? But, this was something that always kept his mood in high spirits. "The....Profiteers" Wait a second, did he just hear that correctly. Jurou's eyes widened with surprise and also a bit of excitement as it sunk in that they had a guy from a talented team with them now. Wait, Enma didn't seem to happy about having to say that though. The air felt much more, gloomy and sullen all of a sudden and Jurou felt not so happy anymore. As he was approached, the ball was removed from his hands with ease and without a sound. "...Put something on those burns..." Jurou blinked feeling rather dumbfounded, he wanted to say something, do something, but he felt it was best to let the guy go, perhaps today was a bit overwhelming for him, it was hist first day after all, he needed some space. His eyes locked on to Enma's feline white ears, and a simple smile formed on his face as he watched the guy leave in a hurry, he probably should have stopped Haruka from going after to but damn she was quick, everything was happening at once. He looked down at his hands and noticed the burns from catching the ball earlier and simply smiled at them, he wasn't sure why he was smiling but looking at the burns and thinking of playing basketball with a new worthy team mate made him happy. Jurou was off in a little day dream. "He's a cool guy, hope he's alright."Image

"H-Hey! Are you even listening to me? Come on everyone what are you even looking at?"

It seemed that their usual practice had come to a stop due to the game that was going to happen in the gym. Aisuru sighed and puffed her cheeks. "Were going to get so behind..." She mumbled before dropping her things.

"Pleeeaaaseee captain! Can we watch? Just for a little bit?" One of the members of the team said before a few more began to squeal and agree. Aisuru sighed. It wasn't like they were going to stop and listen to her now. Especially with players near by; it would be nearly impossible. She paused noise from the doors and turning to see three individuals; two seeming to be ashamed. Wait, one of them did seem a bit familiar. That scent. It smelled familiar as well. She stood from her seat and began to approach them slowly.

"Hey I know you..." Aisuru said as she pointed at Haruka. Something about her scent seemed familiar but not just HER scent. Something about this girl smelled of Aisuru's scent. She smiled slightly unsure of if she was just going crazy from losing her pendant earlier.

"Ah! No I remember. Your the young lady from the fencing club right?" She said while giggling. She recalled her in the halls various times recruiting people. She had quite the energy to recruit that's for sure. And the proper voice level. No jokes intended. She paused and began to rub her nose a bit. Something just smelled of her on this girl and she was.... concerned now.

"E-Eh... My apologies... Are you two in trouble or something?" She said while noticing the third person who seemed to be apologizing for the sudden entering during the game. She examined the two girls and rubbed her chin. Her scent was on the other girl as well. What was going on? Something wasn't right.

Before she could offer the girls a seat, she watched as Haruka began to leave after Enma. She gasped a bit beginning to get a bit angry. Something wasn't right here. That girl had HER scent and it was strong. Soon she began to put two and two together. "Did.... D-did she.... That thief!" She said while running after her. She hated assuming people were awful but it made perfect sense. She soon began to angrily catch up with the girl who was chasing the boy.

"Now..." Haruka was still holding Enma, talking to him in the same soft voice. "You shouldn't be running away from your problems, you know that, right? I'll let you go and I want you to turn into your human form, go back to your gym and finish whatever you started there."

The girl let the white cat go and saw one of the cheerleaders running into her direction. She seemed familiar. Haruka have seen her in some classes. It was the girl who sometimes shared food with the rest.
"Such a nice girl..." Haruka thought.

Haruka shrieked in surprise when the cheerleader jumped over her and tackled her on the ground.
"What was that for???" Haruka yelled with her eyes widened.
"You're such an awful person!" the cheerleader yelled. "How dare you take something so precious to me!"
"What? What are you talking about?" Haruka's voice went a bit high pitched. "I didn't steal any..."

Haruka was squeezing the pendant and looked at it, then it clicked in her mind.
"So it's yours?" Haruka asked.

It must have been very important to the cheerleader to cause such a reaction. Haruka had to fix the misunderstanding.
"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. I'll explain everything."
Will she believe her?
"One of the members of the club I'm in stole it. She took it from the lost and found section. When I found out, I took it from her and ran outside to bring it back there. She started chasing me, but we bumped into a teacher. She punished us to be helpers in the gym for today, forcing us to miss our club activities. This is why we're here."

"Please, believe me! Please, please, please, please! Even though you have all the right not to, please believe me! I'm telling the truth! I really am! I'm begging you to believe what I just told you, because this is how exactly it happened!" Haruka's mind rushed, as she was glaring into Aisuru's eyes. The brunette knew completely well that what she said could be a very convenient lie. All of the evidences lead to her. If Haruka was Aisuru, she wouldn't believe any of it. If only there was a way to prove her innocense...

"I did it." Chihiro stood right behind the other two girls.
"Chihiro!" Haruka freed herself from Aisuru and watched Chihiro in surprise.
"I stole it from the lost and found, because it was so beautiful! I got angry that someone would lose such an amazing thing. The girl you tackled found out, took it from me and rushed to return it. What she just told you was the complete truth. You need to be more careful with your belongings."
Haruka got up.
"Here!" she gave the pendant to Aisuru, crossed her arms and pouted. "Next time don't tackle people and call them things like 'awful person'! That wasn't nice at all!"

"The....Profiteers" Enma sad the name as if it was a death sentence. And easily enough he took the ball from Jurou as he was distracted by whatever thought was in his head. Probably something about him being able to play with a real challenge now. Stupid stuff always did excite him at the wrong time.

"...Put something on those burns..." Enma mumbled, he barely heard what he said. Without much thought, Conrad took Jurou's wrist and pull his hand so that he could see.

'How did I miss that?' Conrad clinched his teeth together, letting go of Jurou's hand in rage. He could read this boy at all and it was irritating.

Conrad crossed one arm over his chest and the other bent up to let his hand touch his lips. "I get it, you I mean, you're excited... He looked at Jurou with sharp eyes. "It looks like this year's tryouts are not going to be a joke. And with the way our team plays, we wont make it into Nationals."

Pulling out a piece of paper from his pant pocket he opened it up showing Jurou. It was a sheet of the Basketball teams and who was going up against who. Conrad pointed at the team that read... "Ravens, they also have a teammate from the Profiteers. This is the team everyone has to beat in order to move onto the Nationals."

Conrad pointed to another spot on the paper. "Right now, you guys are going up against the Wildcats next game. They will be easy, they lost their main player due to a twisted knee cap, I dare say."

Image

Jurou... His name was spoken in a serious tone once again. "I cam because, because you guys needed me. I heard what they were planning on doing in the Tournaments and the Nationals."

The teammates where just completely shocked at this point after seeing what Enma did with Jurou and Conrad. and now they were pulled back into reality when Conrad started to speak seriously.

"So this means that these games they are taking more seriously. That's fine! We can do it! We'll just have to try hard and find everyone's strengths. Conrad you can do it with those eyes of yours! If we just try harder I know that we can definitely beat that Raven team." One of the seniors said with a smile on his face as if he accepted the challenge.

Conrad pondered that for a moment, but then sighed. "I can't read everyone...I dare say..."

The team was shocked once again, they never thought that there would be a day that Conrad would fail at reading someone. No one knew what to say for the longest time.

"If I can't read that boy, Enma that is, whose to say that I can read the other Profiteers?" Clinching his teeth together, he hated to admit such a trifle thing. It made him sound weak and useless.

"You'll just have to try harder." The senior smiled at Conrad and passed his shoulder. "We believe in you Conrad. So start believing in yourself."

Conrad fell silent and then started to head out of the gym. "Help me find the boy, Enma that is, Jurou." He left the gym and started to look around, but stopped behind the side of the edge of a building.

Haruka holding a white and very small cat. He could tell by the scent of whom this cat was. He looked harder and noticed the cat had two tails. 'Odd' Something pondered on the back of his mind, but he couldn't think what it was.

She had putt him down after saying something and then started fighting with a cheerleader. If they kept that up they might step on the little guy.

Image Enma's ears flicked up when he heard someone coming, and just as he was bout to make a run for it...He was snatched up and cuddled to death.

"Shhhh, don't worry, it's alright... You're the one who ran away from the gym, right? It's okay..." she spoke to him in a soft voice. "Everything will be alright..." She started to scratched Enma behind the ears and started stroking his head. "Now..." Haruka was still holding Enma, talking to him in the same soft voice. "You shouldn't be running away from your problems, you know that, right? I'll let you go and I want you to turn into your human form, go back to your gym and finish whatever you started there."

Enma didn't do anything, he just stared at her and too it. She was rambling about things she didn't understand and as much as he wanted to get mad at her, he just couldn't. She didn't know, so he had no right to get mad at her. But she was wrong, he wasn't running from anything, in fact it was opposite.

Shocked he saw the girl from last time run up to Haruka. All of a sudden out of no where the went at it. Enma flatted his ears so that he could push back noise from seeping inside. He barely had time to dodge the girls in the fight and slip away. Quickly he crawled back inside his clothes and formed back into his human self.

"..That was close.." He huffed out loud, patting his head exhausted. It was a long day for him and he still had no sleep. This wasn't helping his mood.

Dusting himself off he grabbed his things and stepped out of the bushes. Stopping he sighed and looked at the girls. Sucking in some air he tried to manage to speak up so the girls could hear him. "Hey!"

Rubbing his throat after yelling he sighed and spoke in his normal soft yet quiet tone. "Is it really okay for a bunch of girls...to be fighting over a pendent?...I understand if it holds value in some way,...but isn't this a bit much?" He looked at the girls and smiled softly. "I think things like this,...should be handled with more care....You're ladies after all." He let his eyes smile too as his whole face lit up as he directed himself to Aisuru. "It's good,...you found your precious item Aisuru-chan."

Leaving it at that, his face went back to it's normal emotionless self, as he flung his bag over his shoulders and held the basketball in his other hand. He started heading over to the boys dorm while yawning, his eyes started to look dazed as if he was about to fall asleep any minute.

Haruka was listening to Enma with attention and a serious expression. She took a deep breath and turned to Aisuru.
"Did you hear?" Haruka snapped and pointed her arm at him. "Hear that? He's right! And why did he direct this at me too? You're the one who jumped over me, almost ready to beat me up!" Haruka pointed sharply at Aisuru.
"Sato..." Chihiro seeked her attention.
"I broke my legs to run for this pendant! Me and her got punished because of it! We had to skip our DYING club because of that punishment! Now, I didn't want a medal or a cookie for going trough everything just to return it to you, but I didn't want to be pushed on ther ground..."
"Sato." The twin-braided girl called her a bit louder, but with no use.
"...Called names and yelled at either! It's really upsetting and insulting, expecially when here Basketball is way more valued than fenc..."
"Haruka Sato!" Chihiro yelled.
"SHUSH, CHIHIRO! Because I'm not done yet!" Haruka also raised her voice. "This pendant might be very precious to you, but that's not enough of an excuse to..."
"HARUKA! I got us in trouble because I was thinking only of myself! Do not repeat my mistake!" Chihiro snapped. "Aisuru might have gone trough much more than you think and this speech might be unfair to her! You constantly repeat about how upset you are because of her reaction, but she's not the only reason for your anger! Don't take it all on her! She got her pendant! Done! Finito! All we have to do is go back inside and finish our punishment!"
Haruka glared at both of the girls.
"Fine." she spoke in a low voice and made quick and long steps to the gym, as her head was slightly bent forwards.
"I'd take better care of this beauty if I were you." Chihiro spoke to Aisuru and also went inside.

Haruka sighed, sat on the bench and looked at the terrain.
"Wait a minute..." she thought and ran back outside.
"What now???" Chihiro moaned and followed her.
Haruka looked at her surroundings.
"Where's the redhead? Where is Enma Zero'nick?" she asked out loud. "He's not in the gym as he's supposed to. He's not here either! Did he go back to the dorms?" Fire could be seen in her gray eyes.
"Haruka! Is that guy your child, brother or boyfriend or something?" Chihiro asked. "He's in high school, he can take care of himself, so leave him be!"
"Once you get in your club activities, you should finish them! Where is this person? He should be playing Basketball by now!" Haruka squeezed her teeth. "If I wasn't nailed to do chores here, I'd run in the direction of the boys' dorms. We would have a nice talk if I found him on the way!"

"Excuse me..." a boy approached the two girls.
"WHAT?" Haruka snapped at him.
"Eeeehh... I-I.... y-you were looking for new club members, weren't you? F-for the fencing club..."
Both of the girls stared at him in a moment of silence.
"Yes..." Chihiro said.
"Go on..." Haruka said.
"I would like to sign in." Those six words that came out of the boy's mouth sped up Haruka and Chihiro's heartbeats.
"The president of the club is in the club's room. She would gladly accept you. Welcome aboard." Haruka put on the most casual expression she could do.

After the boy left, Haruka and Chihiro didn't care about their surroundings any more. They were laughing and running around before they hugged each other. Haruka even lifted Chihiro off the ground and started spinning her. Both of them went in the gym again with their biggest smiles for the day.

Aisuru quickly leaped and tackled the girl to the ground. She grabbed her by her shirt and growled angrily as her fangs began to show. "H-How could you do such a awful thing?! Taking my most prize item!" She was filled with so much rage; which wasn't like her at all. She didn't feel like her usual friendly and bubbly self. For once she felt like a animal. She then paused as she began to hear the explanation. She felt so ashamed.

"W... W-What?" She then paused seeing the new student coming up to them. She listened to him speak and soon began to calm down. She looked at the girl she had attacked feeling completely awful. How could she let this get the best of her. She stood silently and took her pendant holding it close. She didn't want this to be so scary for them. She hoped that everyone was ok but she could feel tears forming in her eyes. Tears of joy and fear. She wasn't sure what to say. She lowered her head not wanting them to see her cry and struggled to get a few words out.

"I-I......" She sniffled slightly as tears began to fall to the floor. "T..... Thank you.....P-Please excuse me." She said while dashing off and wiping some of her tears. She could still feel her fangs in place. She really wanted to go back and apologize for all the wrong she had done and that girl she had hurt but she couldn't for once in her life. She was scared. She ran her way outside and quietly made her way onto the baseball field. Maybe hitting some stuff would help her feel better. She highly doubted it.

She picked up one of the bats and began to hit a few balls all going out of the park. She continued to cry letting the streams of tears travel down her face and onto her uniform. She looked at the pendant rightfully around her neck and just began to weep more. She was an awful person and now three people knew it. She sat down on the field and curled up sighing silently to herself. "I..... Why didn't I just... G-Go back and apologize?!" She began to hit her head with her hand. "Y-Your such a cry baby Aisuru!.... And a animal." She sighed again and curled up silently. Her heart sank deeply in those few moments.

When Conrad grabbed his wrist to look at the burns he snapped out of his little daydream and blinked with a puzzled look on his face as he simply watched Conrad's facial expressions; although Jurou couldn't read people, he at least knew Conrad pretty well seeing as how they practically grew up together. Conrad wasn't happy about something, was it Enma? He couldn't say, he didn't want to jump to conclusions. He simply grinned a rather cheeky grin though when Conrad could see he was excited and rubbed the back of his head covered in messy hair. However, things were serious now and Jurou's grin faded and his face was serious when the Basketball sheet was pulled out. He moved in closer to Conrad, his eyes locked on to the sheet, he studied it closely examining who they would be up against.
News of the Wild Cats main team member being unable to play rather disappointed him "damn that's a shame, I was looking forward to going up against him.." He muttered to himself, his eyes sharp and his brow furrowed as Conrad went on.
The conversation was certainly much more serious now, but he was very proud when a team mate spoke up and said some most encouraging things, with a big smile on his face he gave the guy a friendly pat on the back and let his arm sling over his shoulders, messing up his hair. "That's the spirit!"

So it was Enma. He thought so, but he did make a good point. If Conrad couldn't read Enma, there was indeed a chance of him not being able to read one of the Profiteers. The idea of going up against one of the Profiteers was nerve racking and exciting. Jurou was just as surprised as the others when Conrad had told them he couldn't read. A lot of the team looked rather shocked and didn't seem to want to accept it. Even Jurou couldn't believe it, they had used this ability of Conrad's many times in the past, it was very useful and without it he felt they wouldn't have gotten as far as they did. Jurou fell silent. So did the rest of the team. It was good that there were a lot of positive team members, one of them reassured Conrad but still, Jurou knew this would be on his mind and Jurou's in fact all day. It wasn't something to take lightly.

Jurou nodded and followed shortly behind Conrad before turning to look at the team "don't think I've let you all off training that easily! Start doing laps around the gym and have a game or two!" Some of them groaned as they had gotten their hopes up, he simply laughed at their reaction before stopping where Conrad stood. His eyes followed Conrad's, oh was that Enma Haruka was holding? Why was he in his animal form? Did the conversation they had earlier really stress him out that much? Jurou felt pretty bad about that. He hoped he was alright. And where the hell did the Cheer Leading captain come from?! He hadn't even noticed her team enter the gym, he was far too distracted. Whoa wait a second, she seemed much more uptight than usual as she was storming off toward Haruka who had finally put Enma down, oh wait now she was running. Suddenly a loud yell came from Haruka as Aisuru tackled the girl. "Holy crap! A cat fight!" Jurou couldn't help but chuckle a rather muffled chuckle as his hand shot up to cover his mouth and suppress his childish laughter. His laughter died down though when the little fight between the girls started to look a bit serious, he could here yelling and Enma had quickly went back to his human form, that must have been rather frightening to be stuck between. Another girl approached, the one from earlier was being punished with Haruka she and Enma had spoken up and things had seemed to calm down now. Something shined in the light of the sun as it was handed to Aisuru. Wait, that was over a pendant? Okay it seemed a bit more amusing now. Hang on, where did Enma go? That whole thing had happened so quickly, perhaps Conrad was more focused than him. Jurou was a bit worried about Aisuru though as Haruka scolded her for tackling her, Aisuru seemed like a rather fragile girl compared to how tough and independent Haruka was. And off she went, Aisuru had ran off no doubt rather upset seeing as how she didn't return to the gym to instruct her girls on the cheer leading squad. That pendant must have meant a lot to her, Jurou shouldn't have judged so poorly, some things were worth more to some than others. He felt the need to see if she was okay as Haruka and Chihiro were now, jumping up and down with happiness? What did he just miss? Oh well, they were heading back his way though, he placed a hand on Haruka's shoulder to stop her to softly yet firmly speak in her ear, "you should go see if Aisuru is okay, you were a bit harsh on her and she is far more fragile than you, even if she was in the wrong." A subtle compliment was in there somewhere he felt. He admired how strong willed and determined Haruka was, she had a kind heart and always wanted the best for people, always willing to help others it seemed. But no one was perfect.

"Where did Enma go? Conrad did you see where he went?" Jurou asked as he removed his hand from Haruka and returned his attention to what they were really outside for.Image

Image "Holy crap! A cat fight!" Jurou exclaimed, laughing and trying not to laugh about it all. Something bout the girls fighting set off to as amusement to him. Something Conrad didn't get. To him it was rather annoying and childish.

When Enma spoke out in a yell, it surprised even Conrad. He didn't even realized when the kid had left and came back. The boy started to lecture the girls, but then gave the Cheerleader and gentle smile saying he was glad she found what she was looking for. Then the other girl started to yell at the Cheerleader. But it had seemed, something about all this had upset her and she ran off in tears or maybe it seemed like she was in tears.

Conrad leaned against the wall, crossing his arms over his chest as she stared at the situation, while Jurou walked up to the other girls who remained. He was telling one of them that she was being to harsh. Was Conrad the only one who saw this differently? The Cheerleader was in the wrong, for over doing it all, but still they were all both in the wrong in some sort of way.

"Where did Enma go? Conrad did you see where he went?" Jurou asked as he removed his hand from Haruka and returned his attention to what they were really outside for.

"He left while you were flirting." Conrad clicked his tongue annoyed and pulled himself from the wall, walking towards the boys dorms. "Most likely he went to the dorms, but who knows?! For all I know he could be somewhere else, while you were talking up my time trying to comfort people who don't matter! It's their fight, their problem! Learn to butt out! There is no reason to comfort girls who take their time to make a huge scene in public, disturbing others."

Conrad was beyond pissed and he took no hesitation to use it all on Jurou, the only person who could take it. Pausing he looked at the girls. "Pardon me, you guys I mean. I don't wish to frighten you. Please ignore me. I am not in the right mind at the moment." He bowed his head slightly and went on walking off before they could comment on him, leaving Jurou alone to follow him or not.

Once he was out of their eye site, he stopped next to a tree and with as much force as he could. Having punched it so hard it left a crack where his fit was. The anger caused his cat like nails to start to form. This situation was far more annoying than he had anticipated. He didn't like people that he couldn't read. It was bothersome and untrustworthy.

Conrad spotted something red out of the corner of his eye. He couldn't help but be drawn to it. and there he was, walking in a daze nearly about to fall asleep, Enma was walking rather slowly.

"Wait a minute you!" Conrad rushed up to Enma, grabbing him by his arm and pulled him into his chest. "That was close..." Turning the kid away a bit, he kicked the rock out of the way from the walk way. "People can get their neck broken this way, doesn't anyone know how to clean up around here?" Conrad nagged to himself out loud.

He looked down at this kid who was in his arms. The boy was much smaller than he looks, his clothes gives him a bigger body set. But in a way past his clothes, this boy had a body of a girls. It sort of made him lose what it was he was mad about in the first place. "H-...hey, you shouldn't be walking around in a daze. You can get hurt."

Image Beedee boo Beedee boo ~ The sound of Enma's phone went off and even though he was tired he glanced down at his text.

I hope you have settled in. I look forward to seeing your room soon, even though I wished you would have stayed at home. I'll show up tomorrow. Sweet Dreams! ~Love Papa.

Shyly he kissed the screen of his phone then hugged it. The text from his dad made him relax some.

Okay, but if I'm not in my dorm, then I'll be at the gym after school. Sweet dreams to you too. ~Love Enny.

He yawned a little as he put his phone away inside the pocket of his hoodie. Shortly after going back into his daze of exhaustion, his arm had gotten jerked back and before he could react, he was pulled into something firm yet soft. Blinking a few times it took him a second before he realized his situation.

It was then he heard a sound of a rock being kicked behind them. "People can get their neck broken this way, doesn't anyone know how to clean up around here?" Conrad started to grumble. A pause of silence occurred.

The heat of Conrads body was pressed right into Enma like a blanket. His face was laid against Conrad's chest, along with his body that stumbled it's way into his. This little contact had caused his cheeks to get red in embarrassment.

"Ah..." Freaking out a bit, he pushed Conrad back lightly and took a some steps away, holding onto his left arm shyly. "I'll...be more careful..." Slowly he looked over at Conrad, hesitating a bit with his words. "...Um...was there something you wanted?"

In alot of ways this guy irritated him. Conrad's always staring at him so intently as f he was struggling with something or it was as if he hated him for some unknown reason. It didn't settle on good terms with Enma. When he got near Conrad, he felt as if he was with an enemy or a rival.

Silently he looked over Conrad, noticing his style of clothes for the first time. He dressed how he acted, cool, stylish, and the colors fit his cold attitude. What got Enma the most was definitely the guy's eyes. They were piercing, cold and it was like being read through. In a way they reminded him of Jur's eyes, but Jur had a playful and a dear devil look about them, they also weren't so cold looking, yet. And unlike with Conrad, Jur didn't make Enma feel so, agitated. This was only for now though, after all he had just met the two, maybe first impression was bad.

"Wait, tell me why you look at me that way? Like you hate me, you don't know me." Enma's eyes got serious. Again he only spoke through his eyes and not so much his face.

He wanted to know, he wanted to know if he had done something wrong. Maybe he had played the guy in the past and he was out for revenge. Maybe it was just a fluke. Or maybe the Head Master was playing some kind of joke on him. After all the Head Master was keeping a secret from the Basketball Club. Was he found out about everything?

"Is this because of the Head Master thing? Cause if so, I had nothing to do with it." Narrowing his eyes he looked away towards the school as to were the Head Master's room window was located.

Haruka and Chihiro were still smiling, until Jurou placed his hand on the former's shoulder. He whispered to her about how overboard she went with her reaction and how badly would Aisuru take the whole situation. Haruka listened to him carefully, she didn't move a muscle even after his attention wasn't directed to her any more.

Haruka snapped out of it once Conrad referred to her, Chihiro and Aisuru as people who didn't matter.
"Hey!" The punished girls yelled in offence.
He also mentioned Enma, but Haruka decided not to think about the red haired boy for that moment. Basically Conrad said it wasn't Jurou's business to involve in this situation, but if he didn't, Haruka would probably realize a bit too late that...

"I'm a jerk. I'm a jerk, I'm a jerk, I'm a jerk, I'm a jerk. I. Am. A. Jerk." Haruka moaned while covering her face with her hands and sliding them backwards, pulling back her bangs and exposing her forehead for a second.
"Is this what Kawaguchi whispered to you?" Chihiro asked.
"No, but I still know it. What now? I should apologize to her, but now I don't even know where she went. I was too self absorbed..."
"Haruka..." Chihiro tried to take Haruka's attention once again.
"In my own problems! You told me not to repeat your mistake, but I did it. Big time!"
"Haaaruukaaa..."
"I'm a monster. A horrible, disgusting, despicable person! Aisuru is such a nice girl, and I snapped at her because she tried to defend what's valuable to her!"
"Haruka."
"And I don't even know where she is so I can fix everything!"
"Haruka!"
"What?"
"The cheerleader went to the baseball court."

"Aisuru! Aisuru!" Haruka called for the cheerleader in hopes to find her faster, while she was walking around the Baseball court. Where was she?
"She has to be near somewhere..." she thought. "There she is!"
Haruka was next to a tree, right behind Aisuru. The blue-haired girl's heartbreak was evindent by her sobbing in a curled position. It almost brought tears to Haruka too.
"I'm a major jerk..." she thought and frowned. "No! Blaming is never useful! All I have to do now is approach her and..."

"Aisuru..." Haruka squatted next to the other girl. "Please don't cry... I'm sorry for behaving like a big meanie."
The brunette took out a chocolate muffin.
"I just bought it from the store nearby. I'm giving it to you, as you always do to others." Haruka handed it with a smile. "I'm Haruka Sato by the way."

"Huuuh?!" Was all Jurou could get out in reply to Conrad as he scolded him and made statements that really irritated Jurou. "I was not flir-" And he was gone. Jurou stood there for a moment, frowning, glaring at Conrad as he stormed off. He just watched him before lifting up his hand and between his index finger and thumb, pretended to squish the guy. "What a pain in the ass, having another temper tantrum." He had to try not to let it get to him, he'd just tease him about it later.

Jurou of course followed after Conrad once he was out of sight, he jogged in the direction before some voices became clearer and there he was. He saw Enma up against Conrad's chest. What did he just walk in on? Enma pushed away, his cheeks flustered, how adorable and some words were exchanged, instead of standing there and listening to their conversation, he rather butted in. That devious grin of his formed on his face as he looked at the two. "Hahaha! And you were telling me off for flirting Conrad!" Jurou said out loud before breaking out into a rather childish fit of laughter. "By the way, I was not flirting, nothing wrong with caring about people ya butt." He said this with a smile, he would not take it to heart what Conrad said earlier, with the tournament and what not coming up and his inability to read everyone, he could see why he would be uptight and a bit stressed out. But Conrad needed to remember that one way or another they'd find a wild card where ever they may have a weakness, perhaps not right away, and it would probably take a lot of time but they would find it. Jurou's positive thinking usually helped his team a lot whenever they might have been losing, it was hard to keep going when you were losing and exhausted, he understood that, but he would always encourage them to keep trying their best, at least lose with a good fight. The thought of some of the struggles the team had been through really put a big smile on his face. Oops he was day dreaming again.

Jurou turned to Enma "ah and we finally found you Enma, you have a habit of disappearing without anyone noticing. This could be useful." Yes especially in basketball, he thought so anyway. But was it really possible to not be noticed in a serious game of Basketball? He'd have to wait and see.Image

Image Conrad took a second to himself as he pressed his index and thumb fingers against the brim of his nose. "Actually yes there was something I wanted to tell you. You're also correct with part of it having to do with the Head Master."

Finally looking at Enma, his cheeks were pure red and he held his body shyly away from Conrad. What did the boy think he was going to do? Throw him down and have his way with a guy? Not happening. Sure the lad was cute, but having a male on male relationship will damage his image. Least for now it would. Even if Enma looked like a girl. Even though Conrad swung more than one ways, scandal was not on his list at the moment.

"And I don't hate you, Enma, I just can't stand that I can't...Never you mind. The thing is, I would like to--" Jurou's voice interrupted their conversation.

"You little shit, how dare you under estimate my flirting skills with this incident." He took a sharp look at Jurou.

Jurou turned to Enma "Ah and we finally found you Enma, you have a habit of disappearing without anyone noticing. This could be useful."

"It's hardly useful if even you or I can't keep track of him. Don't be an Idiot Jurou." Conrad stepped up to Enma and pushed his hair out of the boys face. "What's your relation with the Head Master? And who gives a damn about you being a Profiteers. If you don't tell us what's going on, then we can't trust you. and trust is important in our team. I wont let you break that."

Staring Enma down was all he could do at this point in order to get the answers that they needed. Sure asking him nicely would have been a much better way to do things. But right now he was in no mood to do so. Letting go of Enma's hair he pushed himself back and leaned against the school building that was a bit away from the Male Dorms.

"No one has seen the Head Master before. And the only thing we know about him, is that you and the maybe the teachers are all who have seen him. So forgive me if I find you a little suspicious. My teammates mean alot to him and I wont allow them to get hurt by anyone. If you are here to join our team out of pity or revenge, then forget it."

Conrad looked at Jurou. "And as much as you irritate me..." He paused and then smiled, crossing his arms over his chest. "...You've got to learn to butt out once and a while and just listen and watch before acting. Other wise, I'll throw you over a cliff." His smile grew a bit evilish, Jurou knew what he meant. He was venting this over the flirting with Enma comment and Jurou flirting with the girls so causally that he didn't even noticed it himself.
