Personality:

Fae has a very gentle and loving nature and it shows through her actions. She's forgiving and kind to a straight out flaw and doesn't discriminate between demons and the other races if someone needs help she'll give it as long as it's not hurting others. She is practivally incapable of holding grudges and prefers to see people with smiles. she's not the shy type and will walk up to just about anyone if she's lonely or thinks they look like they need someone to talk to themselves. She doesn't take her own advice though and often tries to hide it when she's sad, this causes her to break down and cry sometimes, usually when she is alone. While she isn't one for keeping secrets or lying she often will avoid something if she doesn't wish to talk about it and if pressured to talk about it more she becomes frazzled. Overall she's fun loving and likes being around people and dislikes feeling secluded. If any of her fears are realized she often begins to panic until they're gone.

Valkries were once compared to Angels because of their appearance and magical abilities. Their wings, along with a very light bone density, enable them to fly. And their feathers have magical properties, when plucked and sacrificed they combine with light energy to provide Valkryies with their magic.

As an individual Fae can fly some distances by sacrificing one feather to make her wings grow, however, she can only do it once in a certain amount of time.

GEAR:

None

Weapon:

Staff that can turn into a bow and arrow when combined with Fae's magic.

History:

On Fetharia there are two humanoid races, Valkyries and Demons, both have access to GEARS and space travel but Fae was from a more rural area. Fae has few memories, she doesn't remember anything from her childhood except her name and that she has a staff that was passed down in her family. She was found in Waoa on the shore of a small island with a town that had nothing but women in it when she was about seventeen and resided there for a while doing daily chores and helping out around the village before her common sense kicked in. One day she asked the elder woman she lived with about why there were no men in the village yet there were women of all ages there. When the elder woman explained that they were sacrifices from smaller towns on the outskirts of society to demons she grew furious. What kind of people would sacrifice a human life for some protection as if payment to a mafia, these women had as much of a right to live as any other person. Fae stayed at the village with a new purpose now. Instead of just staying there until she had her memory back she wanted to stay there to drive off those demons. She wanted to protect the people she'd come to look at as her family and so she trained her skills in magic and fighting using her staff and then the day arose when the demons were expected.

As if like clock work the demons came at dusk on the coincidental date of Fae's eighteenth birthday. It was a small band of four demons, not even powerful ones at that, Fae was relieved but couldn't help but be more furious that the towns that had sentenced these women to death were so ignorantly fearful of such demons. She fought the demons back and made them flee only knowing that would be a temporary fix. So in the next few days she explained everything to the women of the village and finally convinced them to return to their villages and explain it themselves so no more would be sacrificed, and just that happened, but the stories became over blown and a small chain of villages heard the stories of how Fae valiantly fought off a horde of monstrous demons and to this day if one goes to the right village on the outskirts of Waoa one may hear the story, though if they ever met her she denies it and says what really happens.

Thanks to the story that traveled by word of mouth Fae started to attracted trouble, but she doesn't mind as she thinks helping others is something she should do in her travels for she was helped when she needed it most as well. Because of this it takes her months to travel distances that should only take a couple days because of how long she is stuck in one place helping others. She decided to travel to try to regain her memories, and while that never happened she found out why she lost them when she was about twenty. She had been traveling the borders of Waoa figuring she may as well tavel in circles around the country and work her way inward to try to find her home. She came to a small village of Valkyrie people and she finally noticed she didn't fit in with them physically. The others had large wings and she did not. She knew her wings grew in size when she needed but didn't know why.

Everywhere she went in the village people seemed to scowl as if she'd done something horrible, Finally she found the village leader who was the only person who would even speak to her as everyone else shunned her away. The leader explained that their village too was plagued by a demon, but this demon was said to be powerful and horrifying, to even gaze directly at it would make one insane. Knowing her village and everyone she loved would be killed her told her she willingly stepped forward to be sacrficed when the demon returned. She was blindfolded the day of his returned and all the villagers stood back with their gaze cast down as the demon came and picked her up. The elder seemed very stressed for a while but at Fae's pleading he continued on. He'd admitted to looking up to see Fae and saw the just the hand of the demon. Fae had been sitting on her knees in his palm as if she were a lady bug on a leaf. the demon took her blind fold off and began to use its abilities to suck away her whole being. She stared up at the face of the demon and made not a sound as she started to turn pale and wings began to disperse and so too did her memories. But the demon stopped and seemed put off and spoke to her.

He asked her why she did not cry why she did not shake or seem scared, and she told him: I do not cry for I do not fear you, I will happily give my body and soul for those I love. She was very weak though and the demon closed his hand around her in anger and made her pass out. He took what was left of the memories of her loved ones before casting her into the ocean and letting her drift while he destroied most of the village and killed many people. Because of those final actions the villagers came to blame her and ignore her sacrifice. Finding this out she tried to appease their sorrows and spite but couldn't and was driven out of the village once more. For a few months she moped around the waterfalls near the village before finally deciding to never let nything like that happen again and she began traveling looking for ways to help others in anyways she could.

As she traveled she became connected to many political figures in her world and began making expeditions into space as a sort of ambassador of her people, she thinks this may be the reason why she was invited to the festival on Earth.

History

The History of Fetheria

Fetheria is the eighth planet from its sun in the Polvestian Sol System, a solar system with about three times as many planets as Earth's Sol System. What makes the Polvestian Sol System is that its planets, like Neptune and Pluto, all have orbits that cross over each other and not all orbits are on the same oval based trajectory; The planets in total orbit their sun, Foculus, in a way similar to what one would see with electrons orbiting protons and neutrons in an atom. The Polvestian Sol System, sometimes nicknamed Atom Sol System, is one of the farthest known solar systems in the galaxy.

Fetharia is a middle sized planet similar to Earth in almost every way. However the people seem like something out of a fairy tail, both children's and original kinds, to most Earthlings. The planet is inhabited by two main races:

The Valkyrie, a winged race with humanoid bodies and the ability of flight, their genetics offer them many more lighter colored hair and eyes as natural colors, allowing them to look more varied than humans. They can have up to eight wings total and it's said the more wings one has the more magical power they hold, all are born with two wings and sprout more as they grow as people. According to I.Q. testing when they first came in contact with Earth, their I.Q. is only slightly higher than the average human, they are a few inches shorter than humans as an average, their bone density is much lighter so there is a formula to figure out what their weight is equivalent to looks wise: Fetherian Weight x 2 = Human Weight Equivalent.

Their wings were once thought to be blessed by Luxetspei, a goddess of life, light, hope, protection over women, and love. They believed that she would pluck one feather of her own for each time there was a birth and the total length of the feather would decide the Fetherian's total potential and that this would determine how strong their magic could become and how many wings they could have. Even with their technology it is still unknown if their wings really do have magical properties or whether they can be explained by science.

The Demois, also known as Demons these are more ranged physically some are giants some are the size of one's foot and some look human. Their intelligence rages quite a good bit and is divided into sub classes. Demons have less known about them for they are more hostile than Fetherian's and don't share any information willingly, as far as Fetharian's are concerned they know about as much about demons as they did before they discovered GEARs.

Fetharia as a planet, if it had stayed on its trajectory before they found the GEARs, would currently be about middle age earth, but they found their GEARs much earlier than Earth did and due to that they have advanced earlier in their timeline. However relations between Earth and Fetheria are still pretty new in comparison to other races so a lot is still a mystery about one to the other, but relations between Fetharia and Earth are very good and have always been non-hostile.

So begins...

Earth it was so odd, you couldn't see the stars there like you could in Fetheria. Everything was so dark yet bright it was all conflicting to Fae and yet so enchanting and beautiful. She'd been there about three days now and fiddled with her invitation as she waited in line, her long light pink hair flowed freely behind her, her people had a natural beauty to them that made them awing to some. Her small wings fluttered as she got excited about what foods she'd get to try, people she'd meet, and festivities to partake in, Sure she was representing her whole planet but it was still a festival after all. Her left hand came up to fiddle with the cerulean gem in her hair, normally hidden by her wings because of its placement in her hair. She would admit she felt a tad lonely as she HAD been there three days, it wasn't like she'd just shown up, she knew no one around.

She wore clothes made from a fine material on her planet, similar to silk, her top and skirt had gold encrusted on it and a few more blue gems like the one in her hair. Aside from the gold she had a pink sash she wore tied in a bow in front on her skirt, it didn't seem overly nice but it meant a lot to her for sentimental reasons. Her leggings matched and she wore them with simple white shoes with about a 1/3 inch heel, normally she didn't wear shoes but thought it polite to do so at an event such as this. Her body was proportioned with long and slender limbs. Her eyes were possibly the most stunning thing about her, the irises were a deep Cerulean blue and as it got to her purple it turned to a bright, and very slightly glowing, azure blue. She hadn't been sure if she needed her staff or not so she kept it sealed away in a gem on a gold chain bracelet, the bracelet only had three gems on it and all held something using ping technology, one held her staff, another held her traveling companion, a horse like beast from her home planet, and the final one held a feather of hers in it which she could use to summon the bracelet to her if she ever misplaced it or had it stolen.

She looked up to see a dark purple and reddish sky above her, the stars weren't visible due to the lights and the glows of the lights reflected in the air. However, it was a clear night with a comfortable temperature that was surprisingly not as humid as one would expect it to be on an island in the middle of the ocean. She sighed once more and moved forward a few steps as the line shrunk a bit. she stared to hum a soft song from her home planet as she waited for her eventual turn to be checked over and let into the building. The building itself was odd, humans seemed to have the misconception that bigger was better when truthfully it allowed more blind spots, weak area, useless area, and unguarded areas, than having a building built accurately for its purpose. If made right now building need be over twenty stories if that, but then again her planet, while technologically advanced, did believe in living with nature so most places were still made of materials good for their ecosystems and the few that weren't were ones that needed to be made of such materials and then were kept to a minimum. In addition to that they didn't alter the geography of their planet like the humans did, although they still had a rather young planet that was altering itself for them.

".... Oof!" she was knocked forward into a young boy as a solider moved behind her, he hadn't meant to push her over in his hurry but with how light she was she was easily moved physically. "Oh dear," she mumbled as she lifted herself off the boy and then helped him up before kneeling down to brush him off, "I'm sorry about that little one," she said softly, her voice was gentle and soothing, like a tone a mother would take when trying to lull her baby to sleep. Her multitoned eyes blinked at the boy as her hands rested on his shoulder before she looked him up and down to make sure he and his clothes weren't damaged, she'd have felt bad if she'd ruined a young boys night because she cut a rip in his pants from falling on him and he spent the rest of the night worrying about it and trying to hide it.

Once done she took a step back and smiled at him and the taller woman next to him, "I must be honest, I didn't expect to see someone so young here, are you and Earthling?" she asked before chuckling, "I'm sorry I should introduce myself first, I'm Fae Fanerith I hail from the planet Fetheria in, what you many know as, The Atom Sol System." she spoke clearly to both the boy and the woman, she didn't want to be too prying about who they were and be rude so she'd wait for them to respond to go on, if they even responded at all, she knew not all Earthlings liked those who hailed from other planets. The last thing she wanted was to be getting on the nerves of someone who hated other races and cause a tiff to break out, this was not the time or place for a fight, even a simple misunderstanding could be blown out of proportion with the security that was currently stationed in the area. Honestly it seemed like a bit much and Fae couldn't help but wonder if there was something else happening in the building at the same time as well that called for so much extra security to be there that night .

"Who is this?" exclaimed one of the seven silhouettes. Indigo was on his own, standing in the middle of a small auditorium, a spotlight placed directly on him.

"His name is Indigo." replied a man to his left, the same man who ordered his creation. Atlas.

"And what is his purpose. Why have you brought him to us?" said another.

"He was created in the Pinnacle research facility on Venus as a tool for us. He is a mechanical construct with a human brain and abilities taken from the VOID GEAR." responded Atlas. He was cut off by another Parliament member, a woman.

"Are you mad!? We have no idea who developed that GEAR or what it can do! You remember the JX incident right?"

"We had not anticipated the GEAR AI to be so...violent. This issues have been stemmed by completely destroying what we believe to be the AIs memory cortex. Over the three months he's been active he..."

"Three months!? You mean this monster has been active for three months?" protested another member, a male. He was almost standing in anger. Indigo couldn't see the issues involved with his existence. He had don't everything required of him and have never once rebelled. They were talking about him like his was a monster. Was he? Before he could think any further the thought was abruptly cut off.

"We have been committing various calibration and orientation tasks to ensure he is functional. All tests were positive and conclusive. Indigo is fully stable and extremely competent when it comes to a combat role. He..."

----

The discussions and odd arguments continued for a few hours, before they began voting on whether to keep him or disable him. Atlas, for introducing him automatically voted to use Indigo. Two more followed suit and it looked like a positive outcome for him, then two women almost simultaneously voted for his destruction. Indigo became anxious, which was further fuelled when a man also voted to destroy. The decision was balanced on one Parliament member.

"By order of the Parliament" he announced, and paused for a second, "we submit that the construct Indigo shall be used as a unique extension to the Global Conglomerate. His will follow no leader save for the Parliament and his service will be active at once."

At this, the Parliament members left one by one until Atlas remained. He walked into the spotlight and lead Indigo out of the room.

----

Indigo stood in his room on floor 87 of the tower, looking out over the crowds gathered below. He couldn't understand why he had been given a bed or a shower, both being unnecessary. The porter even proudly announced that the bed was one of the most comfortable and softest in the whole building. Did he expect Indigo to sleep on his face?

The door opened and Atlas came in. Indigo was ordered explicitly to not conform to any formal military standards - he was a free agent after all - and didn't stand to attention for the Parliament member like he noticed the guard outside his room was currently doing. Atlas calmly closed the door.

"How do you find life outside Pinnacle?" he questioned, walking up to the glass and standing alongside Indigo.

"It's...nice." he responded, and said nothing more. After a few seconds, Atlas turned and walked into the middle of the room.

"Do you understand your mission?" he asked.

"To defend the Parliament to extents the home guard cannot, to pursue any criminals and murderers until they are captured or dead and to follow the commands of the Parliament without question, while appearing to be performing these actions as a rouge construct or pirate." he rolled off, the mechanics providing a more perfect memory than the brain could.

"Correct. Now, we are not expecting any trouble, but this event features many high priority targets. You should silently watch over them and protect them through triage and rank order. Now, is there anything you need?"

"No sir." Indigo responded bluntly.

"Ok, well, I must be off now. There is a trial regarding a particularly troublesome pirate." He nodded to Indigo and left the room. Indigo turned back to the window and eyed through the crowds. He noticed a woman be knocked into a boy, and some distance away a small argument between a guard and what appeared to be a drunkard. After a couple of seconds, a woman caught his eye. She wore a golden dress hand featured some tatoos - hard to tell what they were from this distance, even with his cybernetic eye - and she would appear normal to anyone else. What was it about her? Something stuck in his head, it wasn't that he knew her or had heard of her, it was something more...subliminal.

There! If he thought in just a particular way, he could pick out whispers and visualise faint outlines that weren't his own. Was she telepathic? No, telepaths were explicitly banned from this celebration by order of death, lest they read into a high profile's mind. What was she? He turned from the window and she instantly left his mind, but now something else was stirring there. He began his way down to the main hall through the emergency stairwell, keeping out of the way of the guests.

Outside The Tower

The woman that had ran into him was beautiful. With her long flowing hair, and white, fluttering wings, she looked like the angels out of a movie the boy had seen before. She was a Valkyrie, the dominant species from The Atom Sol System. The Atom Sol System was the setting for a lot of video games Taro had played, including his favorite 'Last Tale VIII'. When she first collided with him, he blushed--she was gorgeous after all.

And then, there was that word. It cut into him like a million tiny daggers, like glass shards raining from the sky, like a million paper cuts.

The Valkyrie had called Taro little. After that, she began to introduce her self in a vast amount of words that were all moot to Taro. Because all the bou heard was 'little, from the little system, as you may little, little one, little, little, little'.

"Nice to meet you Fae, don't worry about it. I'm Elizabeth, and this is Taro. We're from Japan. Say hi Taro." Elizabeth smiled at Fae, and shoved Taro forward. The boy scoffed.

"Hey."

As he spoke, the line slowly began to move up. The ball was starting. Finally.

"Looks like the line's finally moving up! Ms. Fae, would you like to sit eat dinner with us inside?" Elizabeth asked her, in the kindest of voices.

Olympus Tower - 100th Floor

Solo stood in the center of a large room, arms [and hands] bound in heavy bands. Around him, all seven members of the Parliament discussed his crimes, and more importantly, his fate. To him, the council's voices were a dull hum. The pirate secretly took inventory of his surroundings. He was boxed in by the circular podium of the Parliament. The room was large in size, with minimal cover. There were two doors, one leading to private chambers for the councilmen, and another leading to the rest of the skyscraper. To get to either exit, he'd have to sprint several meters. Soldiers, all members of Archer's Lions were positioned in pairs at the doors, and on their own in each of the corners. They had their bases covered, without the Black Book Solo The Mad would have to pull an escape straight out his ass. Solo noted that there were no windows either--not that he was planning to jump. Even with his PiNG [they didn't know that his PiNG was the pin on his hat, which they let him keep] he couldn't escape now. The GC had confiscated the Grimoire, a vital possession of the Spacer.

Solo was far from panicked though. For, even in a situation as grim as this one surely was, the captain had no doubt in his mind that the Red Rose was on its way ready to get him the fuck out of dodge. His thoughts were calm, his mind was clear. The only shame was that he couldn’t attend the festival down below.

The ball was underway and he loved to dance.

“Solo The Mad!”

A woman cried. Her voice was powerful, and cold. With long black hair, rough pale skin, and blood red eyes covered by a pair of tortoise shell glasses, this was Councilwoman Sandra Hale. Her icy roar would have made any other man save the Captain stand at attention. But he only smirked, and showed those two sharp, pearly canines.

“Yes m’lady?” Solo cooed. Ms. Hale frowned.

“You have been found guilty of several acts of murder, theft, and vandalism in, and outside of Global Conglomerate Space. Simply one of these crimes would place you in Tartarus for years, but with your list, a life sentence is likely—“

“All of those crimes are besides the point Sandra! This man, this…monster, he is a Genetic! Unbranded, and roaming our stars unattended! It’s bad enough that you all let them into our army, but to have this one in our space, and to not address it is madness!” The man on the tirade was Allistair Argent. He was an old man, a former general of the GC. Allistair hated anyone that wasn’t ‘red blooded human’. That meant not only Genetics, but aliens as well. Red faced and bald, a thick, curled white mustache was the main attraction of his face.

“This mutant deserves nothing else but to burn!”

“Councilman Argent, calm down! We are not here to execute a Genetic. We’re here to bring a criminal to justice. Leave your prejudice out of the court room.”

Argent’s beady black eyes sunk even further into his meaty face. The old man sunk into his chair as if there was a hole in the bottom, retreating like a puppy scolded by its master. The one who silenced the old veteran was a young man. The man’s eyes were a dazzling blue, his skin was a healthy looking peach color. A blonde buzz cut hairstyle topped his egg shaped dome, while small freckles dotted his cheeks. Councilman Henry McCall was his name. He had succeeded the spot after his father died, temporarily at first, but his charisma and ingenuity landed him a permanent place in Parliament.

“Solo, as Councilwoman Hale stated before me, your actions are liable to keep your in Tartarus for the remainder of your life, not only that, but positioning on death row is a likely reality,” The young politician sighed, “Not only that…but due to your…actions in GC space, the Jupiter Treaty could now stand to be neutralized. Do you understand what you’ve done?” Henry’s face looked grave, “You’ve just endangered your comrades, and Earth. With this, humanity is looking at yet another civil war Solo!” McCall’s cries rang through the wide white walls of the room. “But there’s one way you can prevent it. If you face execution, we will turn a blind eye to your actions in GC space, allowing the treaty to continue. We know that you care about your crew deeply. This is how you
can save them Solo.” There was silence, and then, laughter. Solo’s laughter.

Chaos

“There is a tide in the affairs of men!” The measure of glee in his voice was akin to a child on his bike, “Listen to the specters and their designs! Real Shepherds of Man! Bravo!” Solo gave the council several quick bows, still laughing up a veritable storm. “Silence! I said silence!” Councilwoman Hale banged her gavel, but to no avail. “Archer, your men!” Two soldiers swooped in at once to restrain the Spacer, but he was not phased.
“You call me the murderer? Call me the monster? Yet you place millions of lives in the hands of this criminal? Use my crew as a bargaining chip?” Solo was grinning wide, “Can the Global Conglomerate even afford another war with the Spacers? Especially when your hands are so full with the Brin and Genetics?” There was a demonic gleam in the pirate’s eyes, and it zeroed in on Henry McCall. The young Councilman was shaking. “You can’t, can you? Can’t even bring yourself to say it.”

The soldiers grips grew tighter around Solo’s arms.

Fae smiled down at the boy until the woman introduced herself, "Well I'm pleased to meet you Miss Elizabeth and you too Taro," she said before smiling from the lovely woman to the adorable boy. "Oh?" Fae was surprised as the woman invited her to eat with them once they got inside, surprised but relieved. "Oh yes I'd like that much I was afraid I'd end up sitting around a group of non-talkative people so it's nice to know I have two sweet ones to sit by," she said as she looked from Taro to Elizabeth once more. "So you're from Japan you said? Isn't that one of the island countries here? My country was also an island so we have something in common," she said before crouching down so she was eye level with Taro, "In my country we swim with giant beasts in the water and ride them.... I guess they'd be something similar to whales on this planet, Are there any sports or past times you like Little Taro?" she asked not realizing he didn't like being called little.

She thought he was an utterly adorable boy and seemed like the type of person she'd be protective of if she knew him well enough. She looked up to Elizabeth and smiled, "So are you his older sister or..." she trailed off leaving it open unsure of what position Elizabeth and Taro held in each other's lives. She stood up straight as the line began to move again and moved forward with it, dusting out her skirt as she did. She put her hands behind her back and smiled as she walked with a bit more pep in her step as she'd seemed to be making friends, ever since she'd visited a planet in the Carpation System and spent a whole month there with no one to talk to unless it was business she's always been afraid of having a repeat of that horrible empty lonely month. "So what do you two do that got you invited here if you don't mind my asking?" she asked as the line moved.

Fae looked up to the building that seemed to become more and more imposing as they got closer to it and couldn't help but notice the occasional people in the windows on floors and look at what floors were lit up, the top floor seemed to be very active and she couldn't help but wonder why and what people would do while a ball was going on with important people and civilians in the lower levels of the building. She hadn't had the chance to research this building as much as she'd hoped to do and as much as she usually did so it made her nervous to be there and made her feel unprepared, the security didn't help it showed they there was a high risk factor of targeting or something going wrong so they needed more people there in case it did.
