I was never a suitable person for the Southerners.
Utorak is usually and generally quiet. Her father, dying at birth-as she got older she figured out- realized that she'll never be one of those kids who gets to hug their dad when he gets home from work, nonetheless do anything that a daughter does with a father because he's dead. Her mother was a women of natural beauty and who could always withstand a fight. Utorak had watched her mother be taken to the Northern Colonies, going in the opposite directions. It built her quiet nature, so now she uses her journal to write imaginary letters to her mother. She is also quite artistic though, as two years ago, she painted pictures of greys and blacks and whites of the war. Other then those two main traits, she is smart, caring, and determinating.
Utorak never had the hand for the blade or gun but she still has an assault rifle given to her by her step-father when she was thirteen since they were learning to hunt. The assault rifle gives her a sense of recognition of home. She carries a wrench in her pocket since the assault rifle cannot just be carries around like its some innocent tool.
Utorak was never a girl who was depressed over those sad little things like when a pet hamster dies or even when a relative dies. Yet the worst thing to see is your own family taken in the exact opposite direction, watching them struggle as you do also. After she was brought south she was barely able to survive to first wear. The town was evacuated for more eastern parts of the southern area. Her history is small as all it contains is her painting, her being depressed, and then she trying to escape the South Colonies to join the Lesser. She doesn't want any peace. She just wants to be with her family. Yet the only way to do that is to get this war from finalizing. How?
