"Whelp" Renth stood up from the fountain. "they're probably at the bar, with all the drunks, and alcohol, and soup." He started walk towards the mouth of the cul-de-sac, trying to remember what this towns bar served. He pulled his hands out and started counting on his fingers. Okay so ale, beer, soup, stew, he never really like soups or stews, not enough fight as eating cooked meat right off of the bone. It was the same reason he didn't like utensils. Not enough work. He turned to see the bar, an oak log structure, emitting a smell of alcohol, bread, and meat. He liked the latter smell the most, and decided to focus on that the most.
As he opened the door, creaking with an ominous tone to reveal the hearty laughter and spilt drinks, as well as the telling of old stories that couldn't possibly be true. He saw Mhisty and the rest of the Shira-yui, and as he scanned the group, discovered a small, feeble man who couldn't possibly be evil. As well as some bar goer with dark skin and black hair. He looked over still to see a fair elven maiden sitting alone in a corner, oh well, she must be lonely. He made his way towards her, passing the waiter and eventually making it to her table. he needed a line that could either get her to join the Shira-yui, or be shot down easily enough to get him out of their fast. He pulled down his hood, revealing his pale face and sharp eyes,
"So, what's a beautiful girl like you doing in a place like this?"
Oh god this better work. it's not going to work is it.

Layn notices the door open and sees a man walk in, but she can't see his face as his hood was pulled high over his head. She sees him glance over the table she had been observing and then turn and walk towards her shortly after she dismissed the waiter. He pauses for a minute upon reaching her table before pulling his hood down revealing himself to be a young handsome elf, with fair skin and sharp eyes. She looks at him quizzically thinking to herself Have I revealed myself? Why is the second in command of the Shira-yui approaching my table? incredibly nervous she waits for him to say something. "So, what's a beautiful girl like you doing in a place like this?" he finally asks her.

"I've been staying at an inn not far from here and discovered that this tavern has the best tea in town. I love a nice cup of tea. What brings you here?" She replies without missing a beat, not revealing her nervousness. She feels he isn't dangerous and is interested to see what he has to say. She smiles at him revealing her catlike teeth, forgetting that most elves don't have pronounced canines.

Mhisty Talos

Mhisty sat back in the seat she was in. While the waitress had taken their orders if they had any, she was off. Mhisty's eyes looked at the doorway, wondering if Irsire would be coming back in. She knew how he gets, and she was worried. Yeah, definitely shouldn't stay here any longer. Maybe I should go keep him some company? Then the door opened, and in came Renth. She smiled, wondering if he noticed, but he was off in another direction. Maybe he noticed something? He was supposed to be watching around the town, outside of it. Maybe there wasn't anything around and he was taking a break? She wasn't sure. Maybe he was hungry? Her purple eyes followed his figure until he was at another table, sitting with what appeared to be a female elf. Renth would be able to decide if she could join or not, that is, if she accepted.

Her soup came and she decided to down it as fast as she could, which yes, is not lady-like, but she wanted to get outside and see how Irsire was doing. She wouldn't mind stepping outside either. She was sure Vee, Vosro, and Renth could take care of themselves. She placed her bowl down and some money, surely more than was needed, but it was for if Vee or Vosro wanted anything. Mhisty picked up the deer steak she had ordered to be wrapped up, and some bread, then looked at the two across from her, "Here's the money for what I ordered and if you want anything. If you don't, go ahead and split it between the two of you." She smiled happily and got out of her seat to stand up.

She left the tavern and stepped outside, but she couldn't see Irsire. She frowned. Maybe he was off doing something needed done? She went back inside and over to Vee and Vosro, "Hey, I'm going to check up on Len. If something happens, that's where I am." She smiled before waving and going back out, towards the tree she seen Leden go into earlier. She was going to climb, but remembered she didn't have any free hands. She spoke up, "Hey L-." Her voice got cut off!

(( Okay, all fixed. :D For anyone who hasn't checked out the OOC, there will be a timeskip as soon as Layn either accepts or declines the offer that is about to happen. ))

Vee watched as Irsire walked out of the small building, his eyes glowing red. She trusted that he could take care of him self even though she just couldn't help but worry a bit. When her soup came she burned her mouth with the first spoonful. This made her yelp in surprise and wave her hand in front of her mouth as if it would help cool it down or lessen the burning. Her eyes watered and she took a sip from a tankard she had been handed by the waiter. Wait, this isn't water! Shuddering, she looked around in distress then froze. "I feel like such an idiot." She took a water flask from off her belt and quickly took a sip, washing away the taste of beer and the burn as she sighed in relief. A few moments later she saw Renth walk past and up to another person, seemingly an elven woman from where Vee sat. Vee finished eating her soup after it cooled down and waved to Mhisty as she exited the building. "Okay, will do."

Vee waited for Vosro and Renth to be ready to go, not wanting to leave them behind in the tavern. She did, however, wonder who the group of four people were that had just entered the tavern. They looked heavily armed and that made Vee feel a bit uneasy. The leader looked like a tall, muscular male elf, his followers were a male goblin, a male dwarf, and a female elf. She looked down at her hands as she did a mental check on her weapon inventory. Even if she didn't really like conflict, she always had her many knives hidden somewhere on her figure or at least nearby.

I've been staying at an inn not far from here and discovered that this tavern has the best tea in town. I love a nice cup of tea. What brings you here?
Well he wasn't sure he could trust her, not with those pronounced, triangular canines either. Maybe just tell half the truth.
"I'm in here to get a deer skinned and quartered. I make my living in the woods you see." He put his arms onto the table to form a more aggressive body stance. "But the reason I came over here was to ask you something."
"Do you know who the Akashinu are?" If she were to say no, then she would be akashinu herself, and he would have to kill her on the spot. If she did, then this could be a lot more friendly, and a lot less bloody.
The door behind him creaked open, he turned to see two elves, a goblin, and a dwarf walk into the bar. Probably a couple of dungeon-goers. The goblin seemed well enough equipped to be a rogue, and the dwarf could probably double as a healer as well as fighter. Vee looked a bit off put though, might want to give her a hand and find the beauty he was talking to later. Yah, like he had a shot with her in the first place.
He got up from the table. "Actually on second thought I'll have to catch up with you later." As he walked towards Vee the male elf, if it was male at all, looked at him. Renth donned his hood, and sat down beside Vee and Vorso.
"We should probably leave soon. How's that food Vorso?"

The elf jabbers on about the forest as Layn pretends to listen. He grabs her attention when he asks her about the Akashinu but before she can respond the door opens and in walks two elves a goblin and a dwarf, she pays them little attention as they look much like many of the other patrons, covered in armor and weapons, probably returning from a dungeon of some kind and looking for a nice drink. As she turns back to her new table mate she sees him abruptly stand up stating "Actually on second thought I'll have to catch up with you later." as he turns and walks to the group of Shira-Yuri, sitting down with them.

Intrigued by his question and wanting to know more Layn stands and begins to follow him to his table. As she walks her mind races trying to figure out how to justify following him back to his table. What should I say? I don't even know his name. I need to figure out how prepared the Shira-Yuri are and the only way is to get them to trust me. But how do I do that, when their leader is not here? I hope this works...

As she approaches their table she hears the elf man speaking to one of his table mates and she smiles at them saying "I'm sorry to interrupt but your friend here left without finishing our discussion." She looks at him "Yes I do know of the Akashinu, I have been observing both them, and your group, for a while now. I have decided that your cause is a much more worthy one and I would love to discuss this further with the rest of your group. You can find me here most evenings, or at the inn down the road. My name is Layn, and you will not find anyone more stealthy than I." As she says the last word she turns to walk away and as she walks away she transforms into a black house cat.

Vee

When Vee walked into the town square she continued on until she was within a five to ten foot radius of Mhisty, not really wanting to make it too crowded in a huddled way. As she took a mental head count of everyone that was there she noticed how unusually quiet it was and looked up to see the sky had become darker, the sun leaving behind a mixture of different colors as proof that it was setting. She listened as Vosro gave the report about Layn then when Vosro finished she couldn't help but speak when he was finished which was a bit strange for her to do without being spoken to first. "Yes, nothing much really happened after you left. The waiter gave me bowl of boiling soup which ended with me doing something that made me feel like an idiot and seemed to slightly amuse this one even if he was quiet." She nodded her head with a smile towards Vosro and continued. "Then, a heavily armed group consisting of two elves, a dwarf, and a goblin entered the tavern. I'm not sure what they were up to but they seemed a bit angry and distressed. Afterwards, as Vosro said, the elven woman known as Layn gave us instructions as to where she could found.

Once Leden landed beside them while announcing the presence of a dragon above the village her instincts made her look up and, sure enough, there was a dragon. No wonder I haven't heard anything animal related like birds rustling around in the trees. They must have been scared off. She looked to Leden and nodded. "I agree, but what about the village and the people?" She wasn't the type of person to leave people behind whether she knew them or not, especially when she knew of the impending danger looming over them. "Shouldn't we warn them or something of the kind?"

As Irsire skidded to halt next to Mhisty, Vee listened to his speech then bowedd her head. "I too have buried my mother and my brother though I have not been to war. And though this is all new to me, I do not wish to have to bury any of you. Good luck, everyone. Let us fight for the freedom we and all beings deserve. She smiled a small smile at everyone that was around in the area, getting ready to either pull her knives from their hidden places under her cloak or use her other abilities.

Layn had been sitting alone in the dark in her room, meditating in her true form, trying to envision the battle she knew would come. Knowing from her previous reconnaissance that the Shira-Yuri were heavily out numbered and out skilled, she concluded that they had no chance of defeating the Akashinu, she hoped that they would attempt to flee safely. Her meditation served a purpose, she needed to decide which form to take to ensure not only her own survival but that of the Shira-Yuri as well. Before she came to a conclusion her meditation was interrupted by a loud roar "GO!", she knew the voice belonged to none other than Fume. Realizing that the decimation of the village had begun she turned into a mountain lion, as it's speed an agility would allow her to locate the elf man she met earlier safely, or so she hoped.

As she rushed through the village avoiding small skirmishes, and trying not to watch as the townsfolk were murdered mercilessly she eventually heard his voice "DRAGON! SOUPS ON SHIRA." following his voice she spotted him with the demon kin talking about a friendly contest. As she approached she reverted to the elven from they knew her as. Upon reaching them she asks them "What are the Shira-Yuri's battle plans, and how can I help? I have many forms I can take for battle, although I am most comfortable as either a peregrine falcon, in which speed and vision provide me a small advantage over some airborne enemies, although I doubt I could take on Fume. Or as an ancient creature known as an ankylosaurus." She stops talking as describing the creature would take too long and instead quickly transforms into it showing them that it was a large heavily armored creature, with two rows of meter long spikes on its back and a large club like tail. After her demonstration she shifts back into her elven form. "I can fill whatever role your people need of me and we can discuss my officially joining the Shira-Yuri once everyone is safe." She awaits his reply hoping she hadn't startled them by being so upfront about her abilities.

Vee didn't have time to respond but mentally promised to try and keep the others from getting to far out of control. She shook her head as she thought. I don't know if I can really keep them under control with all this going on. But I'll try anyway. As the water rushed past the Shira-yuri she nadded and replied in reply to Irsire. She had always enjoyed water whether it was cold or warm, freezing was okay but boiling just didn't suit her. Almost immediately after the water swept through the village the screams echoed throughout the air. She wouldn't let the screams distract her because the enemy was closing in on every side. "What a time to meet up in the middle of the village." She said it in an inaudible mumble. The sound of doors being broken down, belongings smashed, civilians screaming, a dragon's beating wings and echoing roars, and the Akamira terrorizing the village rushed through Vee's head. It made sorrow and anger bubble up in the pit of her stomach but the sight of blood starting to wash out of buildings with the water didn't help with bubbling some of her meal up as well. She swallowed dow the vile taste and put on a face that only expressed a trace of anger set on a determined calm. Reaching under her cloak, she pulled out two long, silver knives and quickly cut the throat of a nearby goblin that had wandered to close as he chased another innocent civilian down the street. She decided to save her other abilities for later or when she was in a greater need of them.

“I’m all fine for a contest, take out as many as you can I got four so far,” Irsire grinned and focused in on the battle again leaving a shadow behind as he surged forward entering the fray beside Leden. The shadow he left behind stood beside Mhisty, its purpose was to keep her safe and leaving a waypoint for Irisre to teleport to if things got too hairy for her to handle. Another elf joined and began to talk but Irsire was too hear exactly what was said, Vorso also began his assault taking out a few creatures in the corner of Irsire’s eye while he sprinted . Irsire charged another fire spell hurling towards a group of another four of his enemy’s, their screams rang through his ears sending him into a spell slinging frenzy. While using spells Irsire’s demonic powers were suppressed and wouldn’t surface while he fought .He felt no pity for the ones that were struck down, the goals that they had set out clearly went against his the side of good. They would enslave people who were born into freedom, although he was a demon his sense of honor and righteousness were high.

Flipping over another goblin and lobbing a spike of ice into its neck decapitating with one swift motion, shrugging his shoulders and looking to the downed phoenix and continued to press on. Hopefully the others would pick up the slack and finished off the weakened bird, Irsire wanted to keep close to Leden in case Fume showed her face taking her on as a team would allow them to get out safely. Also in a close quarters like this his underbelly was exposed, if that was struck hard enough the dragon would surely go down. Acting as a sports guard Irsire chucked Ice spikes at the surrounding underlings that got to close to Leden’s hide, “Watch yourself dragon boy,” Irsire yelled with a slight smile spearing another goblin through the chest running out of fuel. After too many elemental spells, his power over the elements faded. Sighing his eye color changed from blue to black switching to his dark powers. “Come seeker of darkness,” he whispered and a shadow like spirit hovered behind Irsire’s back, the sprit moved in harmony with Irsire as he sprinted forward sending tendrils through the core of a row of his foes.

As the spirit continuously attacked the foes that Irsire commanded it too, he turned as a dark elf swung his blade down. Irsire jumped back while the blade sliced down his face leaving a shallow cut, the elf grinned at Irsire and attempted to follow up with another attack thrusting the blade towards Irsire’s gut. With a swift twist of his hips Irsire threw his arm out and a cross hook shattering the sword, refocusing the spirit sending a tendril through the elf’s chest. Irsire started to breathe a little heavily due to the constant action and commands. His human body wouldn’t be able to keep up with the power that he was exerting, he would have to shift forms soon or slow down but his bloodlust was growing and staying in this form wouldn’t be the best thing for him to do.

"Layn, I want you to protect the villagers, so just knock out as many creeps as you can." The elf instructed her. These were simple simple instructions that called for a simple solution. She shifted into the ankylosaurus form and began reeking havoc on the creeps. The armored plates on her back protected her, swarms of arrows bouncing off of her just as if they hit stone. She spotted a group of four goblins chasing a villager, she roared at the villager hoping to scare him off. She then proceeded to charge the goblins, spinning with surprising agility and uses her club like tail to throw the lot of them to the ground with minimal effort, shattering the helmet of the one who was unfortunate enough to be hit directly. She turned again to see a group of villagers cornered by a group of warriors. The warriors laughed as they discussed how best to dispatch their prey. They never had the opportunity to finish their discussion because Layn came crashing into the alley way nearly toppling one of the walls. As the warriors turned to attack her their swords could not scratch her armored hide. She caved in the head of the first warrior with her tail, throwing two of the others into the wall in the process, knocking them out cold. Two warriors remained, they tried to climb on her back which was a bad idea, they both slipped, the first one impaled himself on one of her spikes and the other fell to the ground beneath her, where she had the perfect opportunity to stomp on him with her front legs, leaving no doubt that he was dead. After exerting herself so much in such a large form, which is significantly harder to maintain than a smaller one, she was beginning to tire. She shifted into a mountain lion so that she could remain in the fight. She climbed up onto the rooftops and began to stalk them they way a true mountain lion would a mountainside. She began searching for other members of the Shira-Yuri hoping to meet up with them to form a unified battle plan, as it was clear in an all out mess like this, the day was lost.

Layn had been roaming the battlefield as a mountain lion, taking the elf's words to heart, making sure she protected all the villagers she could. Unfortunately in this smaller form, she couldn't attack every enemy she saw, as she was much more vulnerable to counterattack. She instead tried to focus on only attacking when it would serve to protect someone. As she roamed she saw Mhisty Talos, leader of the Shira-Yuri. After spotting Mhisty, she saw the insufferable phoenix casually approaching a lance on the ground. It was difficult to notice that she wanted the lance, but Layn had been doing recon for so long she could see the slight signs, her left hand on her hip, drawing the eyes attention, the right hanging loose, but obviously ready to move at a moments notice. Realizing that Mhisty was in danger, she knew she had no choice but to help her.

Layn stealthily moved along the rooftops, positioning herself behind the phoenix about 50 yards back. She silently dropped down to the ground and stalked up to her. When she was about 5 yards from the phoenix she was careless and stepped on a twig I really hope she didn't hear that. Layn crouched down low to the ground, tensed her muscles and pounced, hoping to hit the phoenix square on and knock her to the ground where she could easily bite at her throat and rip out her jugular.

(**OOC I really hope I'm not interrupting a pre-discussed battle, please shoot me a pm if I am so we can ensure it's not a one sided fight**)

(***OOC EDIT! Sorry to flame1819 I was NOT attempting to usurp control of Nora. I have removed everything after Layn pounced to give you a chance to respond as Nora really would. I was only trying to make sure things flowed well. I will be more mindful in the future, and collaborate better in the future***)

Mhisty Talos

The blade was suddenly jarred from her hands, leaving her rubbing at her palms. She was frustrated with the fact that she had accidentally assisted in the breaking of the ice off the phoenix's wing. It would have been useful to keep it there. Mhisty kept her amethyst gaze on the phoenix girl as she walked around her. She wasn't afraid of an enemy, even formidable ones, being behind her. The phoenix had a point about the fighting, but Mhisty had to try. For Leden, and for the Shira-yuri. She knew from stories about how this girl can get, and how strong she was. Mhisty remained silent for now, though, keeping her wary gaze upon the firey issue.

Mhisty took a quick look about their surroundings. She wasn't about to underestimate her enemy in lying skills or fighting abilities, so she kept her eye out. She noted the weapon in front of the phoenix, although put not a thought that it could possibly get used. The phoenix sure was talkative, especially on a battlefield. She noted how no other Akashinu were approaching them, and it probably had to do with the fact Mhisty was probably Nora's current target. The talk of surrender was a touchy one to Mhisty, but there was a possibility that they would have to fall back. But the way the phoenix spoke, it sounded as though there was a hidden condition.

"We're not surrendering." For now... I think we all can still put up a fight. She spread her feet, ready to jump at a moments notice, her hands moving up in front of her. Her arm that had been scraped by teeth wasn't feeling as strong however. Mhisty did her best not to let that show.

The sound of a twig snapping caught Mhisty's ears, but she did her best not to possibly give one of her allies away. "Are we going to fight or not?" Mhisty's gaze quickly darted around them, spotting a mountain lion about to pounce. From the spot she was at though, it was hard to tell who this feline was going to pounce at. She forced her gaze back to the phoenix, ready to jump, ready to run, ready to shoot out fire, whatever it could be. A sudden explosion from behind her somewhere made Mhisty become distracted for the second, feeling the ground shake beneath her feet. She hoped her friends were okay. She hadn't noticed silent Vosro nearby.

Nora watched Mhisty, slipping her foot under the shaft of the lance, ready to kick it into her hands. An explosion claimed her opponent's attention, and it was in that instant that Nora made her move. She hadn't even noticed the mountain lion leaping towards her, but it didn't particularly matter. She flipped the lance into her hand, gripping it tightly as she surged towards Mhisty. Feeling the beast's claws raking down her back as she moved forward just in time, Nora winced in pain, but didn't stop, attempting to slash at Mhisty with the blade of the spear.

(OOC: Don't worry about it, Layn, it's fine. I also just want to make this clear, in no way did I just control Layn, I just used what was already posted to alter the situation, having her not tackle Nora but manage to scratch her pretty badly.)

Layn pounced at the phoenix, she bent down to pick up the lance Layn had seen earlier. As she passed over her, Layn reached down and clawed at her back inflicting what little damage she could, although she felt it didn't do much as the phoenix continued moving towards Mhisty. In clawing at the phoenix Layn's body ended up out of position and she hit the ground hard rolling to recover. As she stood up slowly she heard a blast and felt the ground shake. What the hell was that? She thought to herself.

#, as written by Amnesty
Some distance away, a large sabretooth stood, watching the battle between Mhisty, Nora and Layn with a certain interest. He briefly contemplated whether or not he was to join in the events - and if so, on whose side? Then again, the battle seemed quite evenly matched, and he had no quarrel with any of the fighters. So there didn't seem to be much reason for good old Gwart to do anything just yet. If they wanted his help, they would just have to convince him.

(OOC - Bit of a short first post, I know, but seeing as I'm new I don't think it wise to just jump in headfirst without acquainting my character a bit first. Gwart is neutral and can be convinced by anyone to join.)

Mhisty Talos

Mhisty noticed that she had suddenly become distracted and looked quickly over to the phoenix, who called herself Nora. She seen the mountain lion rake its claws down her back, and yet she was still getting closer.

Mhisty jumped back, shooting fire instinctively at the phoenix, although she got scraped by the spear at her right jawline. Mhisty glanced over to the mountain lion, unsure if this creature really was going to help, and if it was, was it strong enough to take care of itself? Mhisty would have a difficult time trying to protect it. Her eyes suddenly caught notice of Vosro, but she was afraid to yell out his name to get noticed by the phoenix as well.

Standing with her feet together, Mhisty lifted her arms up, fire dancing around the full length of her arms. She wasn't sure how fire was going to help with this, and it might be pointless... She took one foot and set it back, separating her arms from each other, the bright fire entwining in both arms as she brought them down. She took another step back and swung her left arm out, her palm facing the phoenix. This should send a fired-up rope to slash her enemy. The whole process didn't take long, as she had to make sure she wouldn't get attacked when she was vulnerable.

The flaming rope struck Nora, but only served to make her more angry. She twirled the spear above her head and rushed once again at Mhisty. Once she reached the mountain lion, she made a sudden, huge jump, releasing a small burst of fire around her. She rocketed down through the air, spear ready to strike anything in her path as she aimed for Mhisty.

Leden, meanwhile, unleashed a small hailstorm of needle-like ice shards at Fume, hoping to slice the membrane of her wings to force her to the ground. The shards were too small to do any real damage to the dragon's body, but the thinner skin that allowed her to fly was another story. A small fiery burst in his peripheral vision caught his attention, and he noticed Nora ready to impale Mhisty. Without thinking, he flew towards her with his powerful wings, pushing her aside to take the strike for himself. The force of the spear broke through his icy armor and impaled Leden just above his left hip, next to his spine. It did not kill him, however.

Mhisty Talos

Mhisty moved the fire that surrounded her arms to be twirling around her torso. She jumped backwards, but something on the ground caused her to lose her balance. She quickly readjusted to try to get back upright with a bounce on her hands, but her right arm gave out at that moment and she fell to her side. She got up as quickly as she could, her right arm hanging loosely by her side. This was bad, and Nora, the phoenix, had the advantage and was advancing down towards her with a spear, too fast for Mhisty to probably avoid it scratch-free. She didn't even notice the mountain lion any longer, and couldn't see Vosro in her sight at the moment.

She felt a force against her body as she had been pushed out of the way. On the ground now, her amethyst eyes wide in horror, staring at the now injured Leden, and only a small squeak escaped her lips, seeming to say, "Leden..." A sudden lick of water against her fingers caused her to jump up. It was cold. Why could she tell it was cold? She was afraid to go over to the phoenix and Len, afraid she could make it worse. Turning around, she spotted the small Fume growing into a much larger force. It would probably be best if they fall back, soon, very soon. Her eyes noticed a bright light just nearby and she looked back over to Leden. She had to catch the phoenix's attention, and she was unsure of where that lightning was coming from, wondering slightly if it was Irsire's.

She looked back to Nora, but quickly set her sights back to Fume, who was just lying there, moving her wings... Bringing water towards them. Mhisty was torn between running, keeping her eyes on the demonic dragon, or getting the phoenix's attention, so Leden can get free from that deadly spear going through him. She decided it may be best to keep that water away, while Leden could probably free himself. She trusted his abilities. She stepped in where the water was coming from, lifting her only arm that was useful, her left, and threw fire towards the water rushing towards them. She figured that if she struck out to Fume, she would get swiped and probably killed, so she focused on the water advancing. She knew water and electricity together could be devastating.

Irsire watched as Fume shifted sizes shrinking to advoid the oncoming onslaught of attacks, he knew that Fume was intelligent but she was also very cunning in shrinking her size to dodge that attacks. Irsire smiled from under his helm, if she wasn't such a psychopathic bitch, he knew he would enjoy fighting beside a warrior that doesn't just use brute strength to conquer their foes. The seeker laughed grimly as the shadow spear tore through the cat sized demonic dragons wing, she descended with speed and force slamming into the ground beside Mhisty splashing water at them with her wings. The lightning spear soared behind, "shit... I won't be able to stop it in time, if I make it burst it'll rain down over everyone. I'll just try to get it as close to Fume as possible before letting it go." his mind was now clouded by the thoughts of harming Mhisty and the others, he could't do anything about the impending doom of those below him. Irsire could only hope they were able to move in time. "I'm sorry my Lady," he said as he snapped his finger exploding the lightning spear as it got extremely close to Fume.

Hoping to finish the fight with Fume, Irsire leaped off of the time of the building he was perched on. The storm of lightning he raged before would take a vital role in hopefully taking out Fume for now. Stiffly moving his right arm up to gather the lightning that was in the sky, surging down from the clouds it shot into his body. Irsire concentrated the electrical energy into his right arm, thrusting it down as he descended towards Fume. Hit or miss, Irsire would break some bones in his right arm and hand but he hoped to cut through Fume's thick hide and hit something vital. But if he did miss the lightning would be discharged into the ground and if water was still around, it wouldn't be pretty. Irsire hoped for the best keeping his weak fist forward.

Layn was preparing to charge at the phoenix again when she spotted the wizard, Vorso. He came running up to Leden and Mhisty, and then they were engulfed in a magical light and disappeared. He then ran up to Layn creating a rune underneath them. They re-appeared near the young elf Vee for only a second then Vorso grabbed them both and they disappeared yet again, materializing next to Mhisty and Leden.

A fawn like creature appeared and Mhisty began speaking to it. Layn decided she would let Mhisty handle it and transformed back into her elven form. She stands silently observing her surroundings and waiting for a break in the conversation. Layn noticed her opportunity to speak with Mhisty after the fawn healed her and moved on to Leden, who looked much worse off anyway. Layn walks up to Mhisty with her hand extended. "Hello, Mhisty is it? I am Layn, I spoke with the elf man about joining the Shira-Yuri before the battle and would like to formally introduce myself." Layn said nobly.

Leden felt an odd, warming sensation as Vosro's light engulfed him. He found himself on the ground, and even though it was teleportation, it was a rough landing if you had a hole through your body. Ice had begun to cover the wound, effectively stopping him from bleeding out, but he had still lost quite a bit of blood once it was covered completely. When he did open his eyes, it was to the sound of some fawn-like creature telling him not to punch it. He saw Mhisty sitting next to him, and let out a sigh of relief since she was safe.

"Do I really look like I'm in much of a condition to punch you?" Leden growled, coughing up a small bit of blood. As Layn began to approach Mhisty, he let out a small cry of pain.

"THAT'S MY BACK YOU'RE STANDING ON!" Leden shouted, coughing up a bit more blood.

Mhisty Talos

If Mhisty wasn't watching what the sweet creature was doing, she wouldn't have noticed him touching her right arm. She just couldn't feel it. She smiled, letting him check her arm out. She trusted him, anyway. She liked to trust just about anyone that she first meets. She watched as he scurried around her, though she was unsure why he could be doing so.

Staying seated, she watched his fingertips glowing green. What power was he using? Mhisty watched as this unknown being moved his glowing fingers upon her right arm. She was in awe as she seen her wound beginning to heal, and she had feeling coming back into her arm. Healing. That power was the ability to heal. Such a useful ability. Now she wondered what kind of creature this was for sure.

She stood up, flexing her fingers, moving her arm at her side. The fact that he even did this because he wanted to... It proved he was generous. She smiled brightly, wanting to hug him, but afraid that could scare him off. "Thank you so much. It's a great help." She wanted his name, but since he looked away, she seen his gaze going to Leden. Her smile faltered. Poor Leden. She didn't want him to have been so severely hurt. She wondered if he wanted to join them in their mission. She would ask later, though.

She watched Leden, worried for him. But he could make it. He had to. Movement out of the corner of her eye made her turn her head to see an elven woman, extending her hand out to her. Mhisty took her hand in hers. Layn. Familiar. Oh yeah, she was told about her before the devastating failed fight occurred. She smiled, noting the mountain lion wasn't around any longer. She was probably that mountain lion. Mhisty smiled, "Nice to meet you Layn." There was no need to introduce herself, as the elvish woman already seemed to know her. "I'd happily accept you into the Shira-yuri. You were that mountain lion?"

"Is your dragon friend okay?"

"No, no, I'm just lying on the ground bleeding out with a hole through my body because it's fun." Leden said sarcastically, not even bothering to look at Layn. Injured as he was, Len's humor never left him for a moment.

Mhisty Talos

After retrieving her hand back from Layn, Mhisty smiled. "Dinosaur? Sounds interesting." She's heard of dinosaurs in very old books that the humans had created. Dinosaurs were ancient creatures, if any actually survived any longer. Doubtful. Very doubtful.

"I'm glad you see mine as the cause worthy." With people lining up to join her in her mission, they just might have a chance in defeating the Akashinu. Although, what if it was a lost cause? No, Mhisty had lots of friends, powerful and smart. She had no right to think that way. Positive thoughts. They can defeat the Akashinu.

Mhisty's eyes flitted over to Leden before landing on the faun-like creature. "Call me Mhisty... What about you?" She then turned her full attention to the healing wonders that was this creature. Although it appeared like the skin of her dragon friend was healed, she wasn't sure about the entirety. Looking back to Layn, Mhisty smiled wearily. "I'm sure any medical attention of any sort could be useful." Mhisty's mind wondered to Renth, Vosro, and Isrire. Were they okay? She really hoped they were. With Vosro knowing where the area was, surely anyway, they would have to do their best about not leaving the area until they could get back.

Her hand went up to the burnt and scabbed scratches upon her left cheek. It was painful to the touch, but as long as she didn't mess with it, it should heal just fine, maybe with little to no scar. Although, if there was no scar, that would be a miracle. Her eyes moved up to look at the many twinkling stars she could see. Even though she was ten years old when the humans were reported extinct, it appeared as if the atmosphere was healing and the stars could sparkle better than ever.
