Setting
Mhisty rolled over, but instead of actually being in the middle of the bed in the first place, she was on the edge, so instead of staying on the bed, she went plummeting to the floor. The instant contact with the thud made her wake up fast, and she was now sitting up, her hair a mess. Rubbing her eye, she yawned. While she did feel more refreshed, she knew she wasn't at her greatest.
Standing up, she glanced around the naturally-lit room. Her stomach felt empty, and she knew she was not in the best of current shape. She figured that a city-town as this still had running water. Not all creatures tried to revert back to the pre-human technology. Stepping outside of the room quietly, she found the path that led to the showers.
All she would do is wash out the mud and possible blood from her blond hair and face. Due to the pelting water against her face, the scab on her cheek gave way and it started bleeding again. Stepping out of the water and quickly heating up for only a few seconds, she was dry and soon ready to leave the inn.
She had to conserve her fire energy as much as possible, so she wouldn't be keeping a constant temperature to herself today. Although, a bleeding wound was the call of needing to use her fire. She took her hand gently to the three jagged scraps and burnt it to a close. Yes, it burned her own skin, but it was better than bleeding all over.
Stepping into the lobby, a female fae waved her over and showed her the note that was left by Leden. He had went back to the mountains so he could heal. She only hoped he had made it.
Going outside of the inn, the sun was getting closer to its high point in the sky and it was a hot day. Not that she could actually tell it was hot. She decided she should gather some things from the market, so that Layn, Dib, Asire, and herself could eat breakfast. Once she was closer to the market, she tried again to get a hold of Irsire, 'Hey, Irsire? Are you okay? Can you hear me?'
Once at the market and eying some of the oranges nearby, she could hear some rapid footsteps and shouting. By the time she looked up, she heard the shout by a tall faery with a deep voice, "That's her, the fire elf! Arrest her!" Her amethyst eyes went wide just when leather gloved hands grabbed her wrists, and another set of hands grabbed her shoulders.
"What's going on?" She demanded, unsure of what she could have done wrong. The male fae growled, "You're a fire elf. Elemental elves aren't to be here." Now Mhisty wondered how they could have figured it out. Unable to go against the strong restraints, she was pushed along to where they held others. In the building, she had to go into what appeared to be a plexiglass cell. Now what could she do? Thermoplastic would be very difficult for her to get out of.

Irsire woke groggily, his eyes dimly glowing red. More dreams of his past haunted him, he was surprised his father didn’t decide to speak to him while he was sleep it would have been much better. As his head rested upon the blue grass, he thought about what Fume would put him through today yesterday’s torment was only the start of what Irsire thought of. Pushing himself off of the ground sitting up and looking to Fume’s underling Hikari.
He spoke of infiltrating the Shira-yuri, which made Irsire smile and laugh loudly at his plot. Mhisty was a very trusting and competent leader but Irsire knew that his father crossed over into this realm. He was puzzled how none of Fume’s warriors could feel the intense demonic presence he gave off. Irsire guessed that he would also find Mhisty and work with her to save him, though he was right on with his guess. He doubted his father of being so kind.
Watching Fume and Hikari speak made Irsire bored, he wondered what kind of torture he would be subjugated to. As he sat can cleared his mind Mhisty’s voice echoed through his head, it finally came to him that she was trying to talk to him using the orb. Since it takes no demonic energy to operate sending messages back and forth through it would be easy. Instead It used natural energy which Irsire was low on as well.”Lady Talos, I am being held captive by Fume, do not come for me at the moment. I know the battle has taxed you I’ll be able to hold out for a while. I hope Asire behaves.” Irsire thought back to her with a smile on his face “Oh and my lady they are sending a spy, watch out for a demon. Asire should be able to detect him. I think this the last message I can send, my energy is too low Lady Talos, I…” Irsires connection to Mhisty fell cutting him off mid thought.
Looking to Fume Irsire smiled, “What’s in store for today love? Are you going to finally be rough with me?” He asked mockingly sitting in the grass.
Asire rested against the wall facing the opposite one, waking to the sounds of Mhisty rolling off the bed colliding with the floor making a loud thud. His red eyes flashed as they opened quickly focusing on the sound of impact, noticing that Mhisty fell he silently chuckled to himself “klutz”. Her hair was a mess, and the scabs from the battle from yesterday were clearly upon her face. To Asire she looked like a child just getting out of bed as she examined the room and made her way outside.
After Mhisty was gone for a few and the other creature still looked asleep, Asire made his way out of the room. She isn’t the type to just leave her people behind he thought, as he walked outside of the inn. His black wings were folded up so no one would question exactly what he was. Following the signal that the orb she carried casted off, Asire walked into the market place. Unsure of exactly where she was because of the crowd of people gathering around one section. “That’s her, the fire elf! Arrest her!” a tall faery yelled out, and two others swarmed to grab Mhisty. They brought her away from the market place, and from a distance Asire watched and kept a safe distance from Mhisty following her to a large building where they held other elf’s like her.
He also felt Irsire send his thoughts to the orb the Mhisty held, and after Irsire finished talking he chimed in “He won’t be able to hear you or respond for a while, in the mean time since he cannot. Let me break you free, I can do it without causing a scene. You just have to make a deal with this devil, release Irsire’s full power and I’ll let you out.” Asire said to Mhisty through the orb, shadow walking into the cell she was held in. “Easy,” Asire said with a smile.
"You still awake Vosro?" He didn't dare turn from his forward facing position. There was a simple fear that the deer would escape from it's trance if his weight was shifted.
There were a few questions concerning where they going to stay the rest of the night. As well as if they would be eating. He was hungry, and any kind of food would be good. There was no way he was going to kill the deer though, it had helped him out in one way, and that was enough. As he got to the start of the city roads, he dismounted the stag, and motioned Vosro to do the same. As he looked towards the man, he noticed the sun rising over the trees.
Looks like he wasn't getting any sleep.

Mhisty sat down on the cold concrete floor, her back pressing against the wall behind her. She placed her face into her hands, devastated because she hadn't given the others a message. Not that she knew she should have; she was just going to the market, which should have only taken about thirty to forty-five minutes.
She heard somewhere from outside of her cell, one of the officers talking with someone else, and even giving them an reward. She moved her fingers slightly to see, and it was the male fae that had been at the inn last night. How could he have figured her out? How was being elemental even illegal here?
A tickling sensation in the back of her mind told her that Irsire was responding. She sat up straight, her knees going against her chest as she wrapped her arms around them. She whispered, "Irsire..." Listening, he had confirmed his being captured and warned them about a spy coming along at some point. Mhisty was grinning slightly, glad that Irsire was, in fact, sounding just fine. Her face fell, however, when his voice suddenly cut off, causing her to be unable to tell what he was going to say next.
She leaned her head against the wall behind her, closing her purple eyes, when she suddenly heard Asire in her mind. (If that was wrong, let me know.) He said he could help her escape, but she had to release Irsire's full power. She grew confused. How could she be the one to release his full potential? She wasn't even in control of him... right? She hadn't ever done anything to restrain Irsire, at least to what she thought.
When Asire walked in, the word "easy" spoken, Mhisty jumped. Standing up, she faced him, her face easily speaking her puzzlement. "What do you mean, Asire? How could I release Irsire's full power? I'm not even the one in control of it." I think. I hope not.
Fume stared at Hikari for a few more moments before turning her attention away from him. Laying down in front of her pet, she noticed that he was awake. She wondered why he had laughed a few moments ago, but no matter.
Pushing on her front legs, she got back into a sitting position, cruelty written plainly upon her iridescent face. "Oh, this time, it's going to be all me. I can tell you're a tough demon, but probably not as tough as my father once was. Hm, I doubt you would have stood a chance against him, actually." She moved her head to be eye to face with her pet, smiling wickedly, smelling like her fishy self, "I'm going to have fun. Now, if you could actually answer the questions, I can make it easier on you. In fact, I might even consider allowing you to join... But only if you are completely compliant."
Fume dipped her paw into the green waters, forcing some droplets to collect and form around her claws and paw, creating a watery-like force-field. "Now, I wonder... How would you feel if I touched you with this... Sacred, most possibly holy, water?" She went to place her holy paw right upon his forehead, "Are you going to answer my questions; Yes? Or no?"

"I-I am now." Vosro responded to Renth's question. Not long after that, they reached a small city and Renth dissmounted. Vosro started to dissmount as well, but he wound up falling off and landing on his face. Being allready sore all over, this hurt quite a bit.
"Ow." was all he said as he got up. He stood there taking in all he could see, the first morning rays shining down on him and Renth. After a minute or two of taking it all in, Vosro looked at Renth and said "Th-that ride t-took us about ha-half way there. T-that's good."
This was not the town that the rest of the Shira-yuri were staying in, they could hardly expect to have reached it yet even with the help of the deer. "We sh-should get food and r-rest an hour or t-two. Then con-continue on. I have mo-money for food." This town would be a good place to eat and rest up.
Asire grinned at Mhisty and sat within her cell, he could tell that she was confused by the offer that he put upon the table for her. He wanted to lie about the true intention of her unlocking the rest of Irsire's hidden power but he looked up to her and started to tell her. "Well ya see, the kid is still well a kid. Devil's and some angels can only reach the full apex of their power after the accept giving their soul to another. This second party must be someone the Devil or angel trusts deeply, cares for, and maybe loves, this second party must also join their souls together for a short period of time exchanging the feelings and power. This will awaken what has been lying dormant within the kid about 100 years," Asire paused to gather his thoughts then refocusing
"A parent or family member cannot be used to execute the ritual, in devil's we simply have no trust for another. In order for this to work the way I want, you have to connect with him although you already do. Seek to understand and know him for who he is, not what secrets and stories he tells you. Do this for me, and I'll get you out of here and promise to help you locate and free my son. I have no desire in doing so," He finished looking into Mhisty's eyes as he rested upon the bench. He wondered if she would go along with his plan, Asire could save his son and bring him back by himself but allowing him to wait and suffer for getting captured was also an amusing thought.
"He loves you, I don't know why but he does. He's loyal to you and will die for you, think of it this way: He killed four of his brothers, was a murderous monster when he was younger, self centered, and combat ready. That is apart of who he was, and when he's around you he locks the thoughts and memories away so he can show you a different person. Its quite disgusting and pathetic, so are you coming or not" Asire bluntly said as he held out his hand ready to shadow step outside of the cell and back into the market place as soon as she grasped it.
Irsire watched as his captor sat up looking down at him with a look of cruel and devilish intent. "Oh goody, I get you all to myself too bad I can't fight back," Irsire said sarcastically listening to Fume's remarks about her father, which made Irsire smile mockingly saying "You flatter me too much Fume, I'm just a half demon. I won't be a devil till I take my fathers life, which won't be any time soon. Now that demon would be someone worth fighting, the devil of the 8 elements. Well only 1 since I am alive," Irsire said sitting back and relaxing a bit as Fume drew her self closer to him leveling out their sight so they looked directly at each other. "First off, I hate fish." Irsire said grinning commenting to the putrid stench that Fume gave off. "And secondly, give me all you got I won't be joining you anytime soon Fume better luck in a few 100 years." Irsire told her clearing his mind of all thoughts just focusing on the moment at hand
Shifting his gaze to her paw as she drew water from the green steam, collecting droplets around her claw and paw. "That is going to burn like hell and I can feel it already, holy water is dreadful, all stingy and such." As he finished his sentence Fume already acted pressing her paw against his forehead. Irsire's eyes dimmed, changing from red to gray as he attempted to repress some of his demonic energy to reduce the pain he would feel. He winced as she rested her paw, the surface of his skin around his forehead burned turning a reddish color.
"Depending on the question Fume... If you really wanted to know I love long walks on the beach, and causally read old human novels," Irsire said laughing as his skin burned a little bit, the pain subsided for awhile but the burning and tingling sensation continued.
Fume kept her holy paw against her pet's forehead, pushing against him, trying to get him to lay onto the ground. "Half demon too? I'm sure your father would be the fight... But I'd still win." She laughed, uncaring that she smelt of fish. "Fish. Is delicious. Better than smelling like sulfur sometimes." Speaking of fish, she was beginning to get hungry.
She spoke up to any of her minions who would listen, "Anyone who actually knows how to follow a rule... Get me some fish." She took her paw away from Irsire.
"You know, Sparky, I control most of the beaches that you probably love to walk on." She laughed, her tail dipping into the green waters beside them, her scales pulling the green waters over her body. "I'm just getting started."
She goes to grab at Irsire's leg to drag him closer to her, the water covering in droplets around her whole body, which meant that there was water on the paw she would touch him with., for a better reach while closer to the waters while she would ask in her raspy voice with the silken tongue, "Now... Tell me because I'm curious; why are you so interested in staying on that side? Aren't demons supposed to love and hold to their heart... destruction? Doesn't the elf-stick you call Mhisty, doesn't she deprive you of that?" This would satisfy her curiosity as to why a demon was on the Shira-yuri's side, and also the curiosity as to why a demon, even if he was just half, was following around an elf girl. The other side is that she gets to enjoy torturing, even if Sparky (Irsire) wouldn't show as much pain as others.
Mhisty couldn't just sit back down. She was too anxious. She looked at Asire as he spoke about how the power worked. Although, the idea of using her soul, which quite possibly involved fire, was somewhat terrifying. But she just couldn't not take the offer; she wanted to help Irsire, and if this was the fastest way to do it, she would have to consider whatever she would have to do.
When he looked away, she moved to the wall nearby, pressing her forehead into the cold stone, the plexiglass behind and to the left of her. How would it even work? Surely Asire would explain, right? She nipped at her lower lip just before Asire said Irsire loved her. She turned her head to look at Asire again, confusing thoughts crossing her mind. What type of love did Asire refer to? She was afraid to ask. Could it be the sisterly/brotherly love?... Or the type of "Oh, I care, but not that much love"?... or... Her face grew hot for a moment before diminishing. Quickly shaking her head, she placed her hand into Asire's, "I'm coming." She hoped Asire would explain this more in detail, but she felt getting out would be one of the best things to do at first.

What if i go and see the enemy for myself? No, That won't work I don't even know where they are....
"We could probably head into there. Just remember to keep your head down," Renth urged turning to Vosro as he walked towards the establishment. He fanned out his cloak and threw his hood on, shrouding his face. He also tightened his belt, the three blades each shined by the morning sun as the light briefly caught them. It never hurt to be too safe in an unknown territory.
He opened the door of the tavern, vaguely motioning Vosro to follow his lead. At first glance, there weren't many people in there. Two miners, a team of mercenaries, and a couple of families. He sat down at the bar, and motioned for the barkeep.
"What's for breakfast Barkeep?" Renth was feeling a bit hungry, starvation was nothing relatively new to him. He didn't always hit his mark as a child, and there was many a day where he sat lonely and hungry, practicing on targets fashioned out of fallen trees. He snapped out of his memories as the Barkeeper replied.
"We got eggs and bacon if you got the gold. Today's special is vegetable soup, but you look like you could eat a steak this early in the morning. What're you doing up this early in the morning?"
Renth's eyes darted to Vosro with a stern expression advising not to tell anyone who they really were. A thought appeared in his mind however, an idea that could get them by without coming off as rude and mysterious.
"This is my charge. I am guiding him through these parts for some reason he has not disclosed even to me," Renth pulled out his coin purse and placed it onto the counter, "How much was that bacon again? I like mine rare."

Vosro followed Renth without saying anything. They entered the tavern and Renth sat at the bar, Vosro took the seat next to him and waited as Renth called the barkeep. When Renth had finished giving his excuse to the barkeep and ordered his pork, Vosro simply said "V-vegetable soup please." and placed a few coins on the table to cover his meal.
When Renth and Vosro had eaten their fill, they stood up and made there way outside onto the street. Then a rather large lizard-man stepped out infront of them. The lizard had a sword in his hand and a bow on his back. "You're members of the Shira-yuri! I'm going to cut off your heads and present them to lord Fume on a stick. Then maybe she'll promote me and give me the authority I deserve!" He said in a deep raspy voice.
Vosro looked at Renth and said "Y-you fight, I su-support you with m-magic." Vosro took a step back, putting Renth in the front. Vosro knew he couldn't dodge or fight well at all in his condition, so most of the fighting would have to be done by Renth with Vosro doing what he could from the side lines. Still this apponent didn't look like your average henchman, his weapons were well crafted, maybe even enchanted, and you could tell from his stance that he was an experienced combatant.
The lizard then charged at Renth with his sword in an attack position.
"If it's a she, wouldn't it be a lady?"
Renth paused, thinking while keeping an eye on their new "Friend". The scaly assailant was too well armed to be faced head on. There would have to be some glorious trickery on Vosro's part to finish this. The lizard was getting back up. Renth's mind raced with ideas that could be used for defeating such a vile creature. No fur meant no fire, and those scales probably made a natural armor. Renth settled for one of two plans; while one was open fighting, the other would be much safer. On their way to the town Renth had seen a bridge. Maybe the lizard was a proficient enough swimmer to give up the high-ground.
"Not going to get very high up from down their runt," Renth taunted, "How are you going to defeat the right-hand of the Shira-yui as a lowly sub-ordinate?" The Lizard man stood up, and shifted around smoothly. There was no mistaking that he wanted to kill him now.
Renth ran up the side of a building, the nimble footsteps not even leaving a mark on the wall. He threw himself onto the roof, only to see the seething reptile their as well.
"Nice trick elf."
"Not bad yourself err, whatever you are."
Renth drew his blades, he was ready to throw this thing off of the roof, let Vosro do some damage and then dive onto it, maybe if that didn't go to plan he could have it thrown into the river.
Renth took stance, one blade raised up over his head, pointed towards his target, the other facing across, ready for any assault.
"Your head will look nice on a stick" the reptilian mercenary hissed drawing his sword.
"Well you know what they say" Renth lilted
"What do they say whelp"
"YOUR HEAD WILL LOOK GOOD ON A STICK PUNK!" Renth roared as he spun into the iron clad creature

Vosro watched for an attack chance as Renth and the lizard faught. When Renth spun at the enemy, it skillfully blocked his attack. "That all you got, elf?" It taunted.
Vosro saw his chance while the creature was distracted with blocking. A rune appeared on his hand and a bolt of energy shot out. It was meant to pierce through the enemy, an explosion wouldn't work with Renth being so close to the enemy. The lizard saw it coming and dodged back out of the way, but the bolt skimmed his side. Not a deep wound but it was first blood.
Asire watched her small panic with a smile her reaction was priceless, the stress that she showed and the anxiousness displayed across her face. He wanted to poke more fun at her display of unease "God for someone leading a group at this but for a reaction like that to a simple truth, are you blind? Its written across the boy's face when he speaks to you, its saddening really how much you ignore it and how much he translates it into servitude. However I'll explain everything soon."
As Mhisty grasped his hand Asire shadow stepped getting far away from the warehouse like jail, deep into the market place. As long as he had a line of sight he could get as far as possible he brought them to a blacksmith shop on the far side of the city away from the inn. "What do you want to know, I'll explain it all." He stood back against the wall wings folded behind him, his red eyes dimly glowed in the sun light. "You are a very important piece to his power, a part of power I would like to see return to my son. Any questions," He said with a grin.
As soon as she took her paw of Irsire took another breath relaxing and sitting up slightly, "I hate water, really hate holy water." He told her as she draped more of the green water beside them "I'm just getting started," Fume said trying to strike fear into him, relaxing and rolling his eyes back readying himself as she dragged him closer burning his skin with the holy waters making the situation much more uncomfortable.
Laughing Irsire looked to the dragon "I do, I love killing, combat, fighting, hurting things. But needless destruction, I never was into I the knights order prevented me from becoming like a wild demon. I killed three of my brothers because of it. Lady Talos takes none of that away from me, she gives me another purpose to fight against you. The fact that you helped exterminate my mothers race lowers the chances of us working together in the first place. I take pride in serving my lady, and killing you. Ending this will make my mother proud," Yawning after he spoke looking deeply into her eyes. "I would love to fight you once more.
Leden picked himself up from the snowbank he had been sleeping in. How long had he been asleep? His body ached, especially his stomach where Nora had injured him. Clearly, he hadn't slept all too long, only a few hours. For him, that was nothing. Normally he slept for about a week, but could go at least month without sleeping. Len felt his injuries had, at the very least, closed, even if the pain wasn't entirely gone. More rest there would have ensured that they would stay closed, but Len knew there wasn't time for that. If he had awoken so quickly, then clearly something was amiss. Dragons had a strange sense for these things.
Leden stood up, taking a long breath through his nose. No unusual scents reached him, so he simply took off into the air, heading off in the direction he felt he should go. He didn't quite know why he was headed there or where he was headed; he just felt the urge to go that way. He always had some urge leading him where he was needed, if he was truly needed. It usually led him to Mhisty if she wasn't in the same place she had been when he went to sleep, and it was how he always managed to find her. Whether this would once more be the case, he didn't know.
What Asire had said about her being blind, she frowned. Yeah, she just might be, but when there were others who could look at you the same way, it gets difficult to distinguish. Not to mention, she felt she shouldn't acknowledge anything affectionate as love. This was a war, and she had to focus on keeping everyone safe, along with getting rid of the Akashinu organization.
When they were out of the jail, which was a weird experience, by the way, she glanced around before taking her hand back. She looked over to Asire as he leaned against the wall behind him. She had plenty of questions, but she also felt that that might take too long. She sighed, looking away, "What do I need to do, and how?"
