Physical Description
Having spiky blonde hair and blue eyes, Keiron stands taller than most of his race. His muscles have been built and toned from the events of war, and the scars on his arms, hands, an a few on his face show it. He keeps his facial hair shaved, trying to keep himself as cool as possible while working up a sweat and medium weighted armor.
Armaments
Starting with armor, his breast and leg plates are made of cold iron, giving it reliable durability and protection to Keiron. Additionally, he has a leather kilt-like piece around his waist, and leather arm gauntlets. For weapons, other than his ability to make energy waves and fields as a battlemage, he has a longsword with an arcane crystal set in its hand guard.
History
Keiron was born into a family shrouded in magical potential, where his mother was a healer and his father was a mage who worked and supported a local church. Growing up in Port Endwall, Keiron had the opportunity to learn and acquire the trade of blacksmiths, while his father taught him what he knows now of magic. Becoming older, and closer to the age of swearing Oath or not, he and his father had many arguments over the gods. These arguments elicited the decision from Keiron to swear Oath. Preparing for this, Keiron was able to get his hands on iron, crafting his armor, steel and gold in which to craft his sword. He began training and honing his swordsmanship, as he had only recreational practice with a weapon. His father's last gift to him was an arcane crystal they practiced with while Keiron was a young child, so that he would have enormous capabilities fulfilling his duties. While crafting his sword, he set it into the hand guard.
While assessing Keiron's ability, the Empire recruited him as part of a more elite vanguard unit. However, this was the time when conflict broke out once again between Imperatus and the Thelac Empire, and he was almost immediately deployed with little to no training, but was given a skills book as part of his entry into his military unit. For about a year, he held the boarders at a city in the far southern reaches of the Empire. Many times, he has come close to losing his life, especially on the last day in which they began retreating. The retreat had left Keiron and his platoon behind, his platoon commander dying last behind him as he began having to fight through legions of the undead. His escape and battle back to his allies took about two weeks, costing his enemies hundreds of bodies.
For another three years, frontlines swayed back and forth as John Kerry the Third seemed to have failed his mission. His initial unit had been destroyed by the war, and he has been through three different companies since, and ended up having to command groups of replacements one after the other as men continued to be slaughtered. Traveling up and down fronts, Keiron had become quite familiar with the lands of Thelac. Upon the day he finally appealed to return home, the military decided to honorably discharge the soldier for his "undying displays of heroism, bravery, honor, and selfless service for the Empire." Now, he makes the long journey back to Port Endwall with sharpened swordsmanship, his armor and sword refurbished several times with his earnings, and money enough to live off of for over three years.
