{{Appearance}}

When you see Emory, you will see a woman that stands at five feet and nine inches; stretching to almost five foot eleven inches if she's wearing some sort of boot or heel. Along with that height is her average sized body, with curves in all the right places along her frame that is also laced with muscle hiding beneath cream ivory colored skin. Her hair is the color of midnight, spilling in a fairly mild wave down past her chest and across her belly. Her eyes are the color of a pale green, resembling faded out jade or light emeralds that gleam and glow with passion inside the delicate hues. You can find her nose is a little pointed and her cheeks more prominent when she smiles, but she's always gotten the cute compliment when it comes to her pretty face.

She often wears an assortment of makeup styles; sometimes going really heavy on the black eyeshadow and lipstick, to a more mild silver and neutral lip color that compliments her face either way. She wears an assortment of blacks of all fashions, including sweaters, corsets, leggings, anything you can think of that gives off a simple dark or a cute punk/goth fashion that is often paired with her extensive makeup skill. Her hair is often worn down, only going up when she's feeling a bit too hot and she adores wearing more of her outfits with a pair of spiked combat boots that would make her die if she lost them.

{{Personality/Traits}}

When it comes to Emory, she can be a bit bipolar at times when it comes to feeling good or bad. When she's in a good mood, she is outgoing, funny with tons of humor flowing out, and loves to have a good time with people she cares about. Or sometimes when she's in a good mood, she loves to just curl up and read a romance fantasy novel or sit around playing videogames all day. Her bright disposition tends to make people think she is always an optimist, but that is not always the case.

Her bad moods consist of a fiery temper, which she will either right then, lay into you and tear you a new one or she waits and starts seething over it, allowing it to turn into a grudge she can carry for months. She also suffers from depression, which really forces her to become isolated at the most random times and actually want to be left alone. Ever since the day her friend was left behind, who was a childhood friend, she has been pressed with guilt she has to lie about to people so they won't think she is entirely insane. But to make it all right and get him back out? She'll do just about anything. Of course, she'd do that for any of her close friends due to her protective personality.

Take it from Emory that she can sometimes be the most mature person in her group of friends. She may have immature moments but when it comes to taking leadership and responsibility, she can assuredly do so. She will always look out for others, and still blames herself for the failure to get all four of them out in time six years ago. She will always take the blame, take the fall, and try to fix a problem even if it isn't her problem to fix or her blame to take.

Charlie was running. It wasn't often that the nerdy boy decided to partake in physical activity seeing as it really wasn't his strength at all, but on that day, he ran. He was still clothed in his ripped jeans and blue tee, blue hoodie and dark blue coat though he had lost his skateboard somewhere along the way and was in the processing of loosing his backpack, hurriedly pulling it up as the strap slipped down with each jostled step he took. But he didn't slow, he needed to get to Emory. He just hoped she still lived in her parents house.

He hadn't seen the girl in a few years, his parents moving to New York after the... the incident. He had trouble coping with Alex not being there anymore and his parents realized this, they came to the conclusion that he should be taken away from the place that held so many memories of Alex, reminded him so strongly of the dead boy... Thats what they all said, he was dead. But Charlie knew, Alex couldn't of died, he was stronger then that, and charlie had just been proven right.

They had returned to Pennsylvanian little under a year ago. He hadn't contacted Em and actually spent more time avoiding places where he would remember the time the three of them spent together. He couldn't handle it... and yet he often found himself walking the familiar path they had all taken to the portal, before realizing and turning back around to make his way home. He regretted the day he left Alex more then anything, and he often wondered if he should go back for the boy he had once know... But he would always back out, he wasn't a fighter and he didn't even know if Alex wanted to return to earth. Now he knew, and it was time for him and Em to go save the friend they left behind all those years ago.

Rounding the corner, speeding up as the white farmhouse came into view. "Please be there, please be there, please be there!", it became a mantra as he ran towards the house.

BANG!

He hit the door hard, and proceeded to knock against the door loudly, his breath coming out in gasping pants. "EM! Em its more Charlie! He sent us a letter! He needs out help! ALEX NEEDS OUR HELP! OPEN THIS DOOR!", he was screaming, his voice coming out hoarse as he formed the words around his burning lungs. He kept banging. Em had to be here. She just had to be.

Emory nearly fell off the couch at the giant bang on her front door, her pizza flying onto the carpet and her beer almost spilling out of her hand as she struggled to swallow and nearly choking on her food. Who could that be? At first she thought it was a burglar, but then when she heard a familiar voice yelling to her about Alex in a raving mad man fashion, she darted across the living room and opened the door to almost get Charlie's fist in her face.

"The hell, Charlie? What are you doing here?" She tilted her head at him, her face contorted into confusion as she saw his other hand holding firmly but gingerly on a strange darkened piece of parchment that looked like it dated back to the stone age. She hadn't seen Charlie in a while, she hadn't heard from him... hell, they were practically strangers now and a sudden flare of anger rose in her face at the thought that he just randomly showed up to rave about Alex and what happened. She quickly ushered Charlie inside, her dominant behavior taking over and forcing her grabbing his shirt and jerking him before closing the door and locking it. She then glared at him harshly for a moment, her fingers tapping on the beer bottle's side before her other hand snatched the letter away from him. "Charlie, there is no way to send things through the realm..."

She looked down at the letter, her eyes swerving from left to right and they slowly started to expand like balloons as her fingers gripped it tighter and tighter. The detail, the lettering.... written in a modern sense, beautiful cursive and a plea for help. She read how Alex had been fighting, had evaded the Prince's capture and needed them to come open the portal so he could get out, they he missed them and were begging for release of the awful world he was cased in. The beer bottle slowly fell from Emory's fingers, crashing on the floor into bits and pieces as beer flooded all over the wood floor.

"Damn it Charlie! I wanted to forget all this!" She shoved the letter back into his chest, sighing heavily and walking into the kitchen to pull down a bottle of Skyy Vodka, apple flavored, and taking a swig straight from the bottle as it burned her throat and forced her to caught a little. "There's no way this could of gotten through the realm... it's... just impossible."

Charlie froze mid knock as the whirlwind known as Em opened the door with a face that looked confused before contorting into one that screamed murder as she dragged him into the house. Now that he was here, he glanced nervously around the room before turning his gaze shyly towards the girl in front of him. He had forgotten how she could get and now he was wondering if this really had been a good idea. Em looked pissed out of her mind and normally Charlie would of found a way out of here as fast as he could but two things kept his feet nailed to the floor.

One, Despite not having seen the girl in such a long time he still missed her and that came back full force as he looked at the ebony head who was now reading the letter he had been clutching desperately. Second, He needed to save Alex. The reason why he hadn't been able to get over himself when he and Em came back was because he couldn't live with the fact that they had left their best friend behind. He had to save him, even if it killed him. He would not leave Alex behind again.

He came out of his reminiscence when he heard the bottle smash against the floor and he took a step back in surprise before looking at the face of his once friend. He watched her in shock as she shoved the letter into his chest, standing still as she stormed off, before anger began to cloud over his face. It wasn't often that he became angry but this, this, was one of those time.

"EM! Are you really going to ignore Alex's plea for help just because you wanted to forget it ever happened?! News flash! It did happen and our best friend who we left behind is asking for our help! Are you saying we should just ignore him because you couldn't handle it!", he growled out the words as he stalked towards the girl, pulling himself to his full height and glaring down at her. He could feel the wind leaving his sails as he noticed the vodka before sighing softly and looking up at the girl with tired eyes.

"We need to go back and get him Em. We left him. We left him! I couldn't live with myself after what happened and now I have been given a chance to make it all right, to bring him home! I can't just abandon him again... I really wouldn't be able to live if i did that...", the last part come out no more then a whisper as he hung his head, bring his hands up to cover his face briefly as the memories came back to him. "Please Em, I am asking, No, I am begging you. Help me bring Alex home and then you can leave, you don't have to worry about all this ever again, but please, just help me bring Alex back first.", his voice cracked slightly on the last note and he looked back at Em's eyes. He couldn't be like her, he wasn't strong enough to just push it all aside and leave his drama in the past, and he wasn't exactly sure what he would do if Em said no.

Sunjai Ada

"I'M NOT CRAZY!" Sunjai screamed at top of her lungs, as a doctor dodged a flying pencil cup that narrowly missed his head, obviously he was used to her outburst.
Especially today.
"I didn't say your were crazy, Sunjai. It said you sound crazy." He said calmly. Sunjai's nostril's flared, as her head cocked some as if to say, 'Don't patronize me.'

"Sunjai, it's been what 5 years?"

"6. Exactly 6 years and no matter what you do. What drugs you put me on, I know what I saw, I know where I was, and I know where Alex is."

"Then why did your friends say-"

"Because we left him and they didn't want to admit it. We were scared, and when he fell we couldn't go back for him...or we just didn't." She said, wrapped her arms around herself looking down at the floor, recalling the day that has played in her mind and in her heart for 6 long years.

Sunjai was small then, only just turned 12. but now having just turned18 years old, she had a womanly figure, warm brown skin, long brown black hair that fell down her back in wavy curls.

"Alexander went missing, and you are still blaming yourself for it, Sunjai, no one blames you for what happened."

"I do!" Sunjai spat. "I blame myself, I blame Emory, I blame Charlie, we should have went back for him!" She said and spun down into a soft chair. "We shouldn't have left him in that place." she said softer now. The Doctor looked at her. "I'm sorrym Sunjai but you know, if you keep going on like this, we are going to have to put you in the institution." He said and Sunjai looked up at him. "Go ahead and say it, Doc. The Insane Asylum..."

"It's an Institute for the mentally unstable, Look Sunjai, you've been taking your medication, you've never missed an appointment. If you just keep that up, and stop talking about Almer-whatever, the state won't force my hand." He said sitting beside her. Sunjai just set her jaw and looked at the ground.
"Fine." She said, resigning. "Attagirl" He said and hugged her around the shoulder, only to get nothing in return. "Same time next week." He said, and Sunjai stood up, grabbed her messanger bag. "Yea sure." she said as she slung it over her shoulders. "Hey there's an art show downtown coming up, you should enter your art work."

"And call it what? Fantasy?" She said as she walked out the door, slamming it closed behind her.

Sunjai walked down the street, after leaving the shrink's office and waited for the bus on a bench. She opened her bag and pulled out a pencil and a sketchbook and cracked it open. She slowly flipped through the pages and sighed. Page after page was filled with drawings of faeries, tall ones, small ones. some looked like people, others looked like something else.

Two drawings seemed to reoccuring throughout the book. One was of a beautiful woman with pointed ears and wavy white hair and the other...wasn't Fae at all. As she looked at the sketch, running her fingers over the features, of a young boy.

"Alex..." He'd be 19 by now. He was always a handsome kid -she figured he'd probably be more so now. She closed her eyes, the voices played in her head again, as they had been since that day.

"Alex!" Her younger voice cried out and suddenly the whispers began, most was just hissing, incoherent whispering but from time to time full sentences were audible. "You left him...Your friend... Left him to die... Left him to the Fae! Find him! Go! Find him! Bring him home! " Sunjai whimpered and dug in her bag for a water bottle and her pills. She quickly pour the pills into her hand and knocked them back as well as the water. She closed her eyes, praying the drugs would take affect quickly. Soon the whispering stopped but her mind was hazy. She closed the book and shoved it into her bag.

6 years...6 years to the day and she hadn't bothered to see Emory or Charlie. For the first four she simply couldn't. She told her parents what she saw, what happened to Alex but having both Emory and Charlie denying it, and her story so outrageous. Her parents had her committed. They tried to visit but eventually they stopped.

She felt, they abandoned her too.

When Charlie decided to stand Emory up, she raised an eyebrow, watching him yell at her with such passion that her own heart fluttered slightly from fear he would punch her or something of the sort. With a glare to match, she was going to yell back until his tone changed and Charlie started to beg. She bit her lip hard at the plea in his voice, the way his eyes shimmered and his expression went full on puppy dog; and Emory had already made the decision in the back of her mind. She slowly scratched her fingers through her hair and glanced back at him before sighing and grabbing the house phone, dialing Sunjai Ada's parents.

She got ahold of one parent who gladly gave her Sunjai's cell phone, and so Emory then proceeded to leave a voicemail on Sunjai's cell phone box. "Sunjai... it's Emory. Charlie has a letter from Alex, and we need your help so... come down to my parent's old house and we can get this... situated." Her stomach was already twisting into knots thinking about Alex and going back in there... with all the strange creatures. She hung up the phone and put it back down before swerving around Charlie and pushing her head into the wall. "Going back in there is going to kill us, you know." She whispered to him, her eyes closed as she sighed into the wallpaper.

Sunjai Ada

Sunjai stared down at her phone as it rang. Now? Today? Why today?

The call went to voicemail and Sunjai sighed and stood up, walking away from the bus bench.

She was afraid to answer it. Emory's parents house wasn't far from where she was. 10 minutes, tops. Atleast that's where she remembered.

Sunjai took a breath and rose the phone to her ear.

"Sunjai....It's Emory. Charlie has a letter from Alex and we need your help, so....come to my parent's old house and we can get this....situated."

Sunjai's heart sunk. "Alex...."

The medication silenced the voices in her head but it didn't stop her from wanting-needing to go back for him, howevee the idea of Emory calling her after all these years...Sunjai's eye twitched and instead of catching a bus, she hailed a cab.

Ten minutes later, Sunjai stepped out of the cab, paid him and looked out at the farmhouse.
Memories came flooding back to her in an instant, making her head ache and eyes water.

She took a few calming breaths before walking up to the house and with a single knock, she waited with her back turned. Her arms wrapped around herself even through her body was covered in a long black sweater. Her brown legs were left free under a flora skirt, with brown calf high boots that tapped wood of the porch.

As soon as Emory heard the knock on the door, she went over and opened it up, sucking in a harsh breath when she saw Sunjai standing there. She quickly ushered her inside, anxiously looking around outside and locking the doors before clearing her throat. "Charlie, why don't you um.... show her the letter and I'm going to go get some things from my room." Emory said, running her hands through her long black hair before she looked at Sunjai one more time and then leaped up the stairs.

She hated meeting like this.... they had all gone six years without saying a word to each other and now, here they were, and it wasn't even a friendly or nice reunion. It was a confusing, scared, frustrating meeting about going back into the world that had torn them apart in the first place. With a heavy sigh she went into her gray and red colored bedroom, covered in Victorian styled furniture and blankets and posters of heavy metal bands smothering her walls. She quickly went into her sliding door closet and used all her might to drag a heavy, black chest from it and took the key hanging around her neck to open it up.

Inside were treasures from the other world. Flowers squeezed in a sketch book, different assortments of toys and trinkets... and the three iron daggers given to them upon coming into the world by the Silver Queen. They were long, shiny, and extremely sharp with a large gem stone at the top of the handle that changed color according to how the person was feeling. Fairies were deadly afraid of Iron; a cut could poison them and could ultimately kill them, depending on how powerful the fairy was. She heaved them up onto the bed and then changed her clothes, switching into some tight black leggings, her black studded combat boots, a half sleeved band shirt the had The Pretty Reckless scrawled on the front and her leather jacket that fit around her upper body quite snugly. She also attached her black leather biker gloves, and attached the belt that came with the daggers, making sure her's fit tight and secure before grabbing the rest and heaving them downstairs.

With a slight wheeze she dropped them on the ground at her friend's feet, looking up them and clearing her throat. "These will have to do when we gone inside... but." She quickly swerved around them and went into the kitchen, pulling out some iron made charms in strange symbols, all on bracelets or rings or necklaces that she had had custom made to ease her paranoia. "These will also help." She offered them the jewelry, biting her lip as her heart thudded violently in her chest.

Charlie breathed a small sigh of relief before sending Em a smile as he watched her contact Sunny. He was glad the three of them were getting back together, and it would only be better when they had Alex back. Though, he couldn't help but wonder how Alex had grown and changed over those 6 years... Was he still the guy they all knew or had he changed...

He glanced up as he heard Em talk to herself, resting her head against the wall. He wanted to comfort her but Charlie had never really been good at that sort of thing. Biting his lip, he decided he might as well try seeing as he was dragging her and Sunny into this. "Em... I-", he was cut off as someone knocked on the door and could only assume it to be Sunny. He watched silently the exchange between the two girls before he made his way out to greet Sunny as Em ran off upstairs.

"Hay sunny...", he offered shyly, looking over at the girl with a small smile though he hung back slightly. It had been fine with Em, he had been confused and desperate so he had gone to the girl he had kind of treated as their leader back when they were kids, but when it came to Sunny, he honestly had no idea what to say. "Here... You probably want to...", he trailed off helplessly as he offered the other girl the old letter. He stood awkwardly to the side as he watched her read it, picking nervously at his sleeve as he watched her.

Charlie turned when he heard Em reenter the room, and his eyes widened slightly as they noticed her new attire. 'Why hadn't he thought of that?! Oh well, his jeans and jacket will have to do...', He thought to himself as he grabbed up the dagger Em had dropped near him. He almost smiled at the familiar weight, because despite being an item that brought back mostly pain and sadness, it had also made him feel so alive all those years ago and now having something familiar in all this madness made him feel almost safe...

Charlie glanced curiously at the jewelry offered and made a confused face before shrugging his shoulder and taking one of the iron necklaces, slipping in on over his head. He wasn't a fan of Rings or bracelets so he would probably end up taking them off, at least with a necklace he could kind of forget about it...

"Someone has been working hard.", he commented lightly, offering up a small amused smile in an attempt to lighten the mood though considering it was him trying, it probably wouldn't work. "I see you changed. Good idea. I should also be fine, though I am a little worried about your skirt sunny.", he commented, turning back to the other girl and glancing down at the long skirt with a worried frown. Moving forward, he took the letter from the Sunny's hand's and slipped it into his back pack.

"Well, Em seems to be ready but we should probably also take food and water. Weapons are fine seeing as we have our daggers and I am not carrying any iron swords around with me, we will also need a first add kit... Got one here Em?", He asked as he began digging through his bag and emptying it off all his books and school equipment to make room for necessities.

Sunjai Ada

Sunjai stepped through the threshold, her arms still folded, an eyebrow arched in scrutiny.

She walked inside, and her heart damn near stopped at the sight of Charlie. He was taller now, and still that nerd cute that always worked for him. He gave her a crooked smile...she couldn't bring herself to smile back. "Charlie, why don't you um...show her the letter, I need to get somethings from my room." Emory said and soon she disappeared.

"Hay, Sunny." Charlie said and the old nickname gave her chills. "Mm," was her response.

She was still angry with them. They left her, denied everything, pretended it never happened even though, Sunjai swore it did. She was on medication because of it. "Here, you probably want to..." He stopped midsentence the way he always did and handed her the letter. Sunjai looked at it and frowned some.

Something wasn't right, why now? If he could get this letter out, why couldn't he get out himself?

Paranoia, she figured, made her question everything.

It wasn't long before Emory came back in, her clothes changed, and carrying their weapons.

"For you, The Dreamer...Let your imagination guide you." The Silver Queen's voice echoed in her mind, with the memory of her handing them their respective daggers. She took a deep breath, as the rest of the world's sound seemed to diffuse in her head, Emory and Charlie went on and Sunjai felt dizzy, side effects of her medication.

"I'm calling bullshit." She said suddenly. "Why now, I haven't spoken to you two in 6 goddamn years and now, you get one alleged letter from Alex and we're all friends again, going back to the Hell that you all denied for so long?" She aid frustratingly. "What about my letters? Hmm? What about those? I wrote you guys too, did you ever come to see me? No, because when I spoke about what happened you all left me, to the doctors, to the medication." She said a deep frown creasing her brow. "You guys left me, just like we left Alex." She said, held her head. "Daggers aren't gonna help us." She said softly. "We're cowards..."

Emory put one of the necklaces on, and then one of the rings, her paranoia growing as she took a deep breath and then jumped slightly at the sudden outburst from Sunny. She blinked a few times, tilting her head before an icy glare formed on her face and with a dominant pose, she looked down at Sunny, coming close so her clothes brushed against the girl's sweater. She was feeling rage boiling in her blood, her eye twitching at the sudden thought of what had happened; and how she had tried to block it out.

"If you want to back out, Sunny. Go ahead." Emory moved closer to her, her hips touching the fabric closer as she crossed her arms and cleared her throat. "You act like this only affected you, but it affected all of us. We saw things, horrible things... they make fairies out to be these little pretty things that run around and give you candy. No, you remember, the monsters and the blood and how we were tricked into thinking fairy tales were real. Seeing things that aren't supposed to be real; they change a person. We aren't asking you to be our friend again, we're asking you to help save the friend we left behind because you are right, we were cowards. Living in the past though..." Emory's face softened as she looked over at the wall. "Doesn't do much good."

She then turned and walked to the kitchen again, grabbing her messenger bag and dumping all her books and pens and other office related items onto the floor and began stuffing it with bottles of water from the fridge, and assorted bags of snacks and canned items. "I've been trying to forget it happened, for six years. Forgetting means... everything. Even people." She said, glancing back at Sunny from the counter, her eyes like ice as she also pulled out a small first aid kit from a tall cupboard to the left of the stove. She then grabbed another couple handfuls of water, shoving them into Charlie's bag and giving him a couple bottles of alcohol for wounds and giving a big container salt. Salt also was a fae fear, for it protected humans if put into a closing circle.

She then set the bag beside Charlie, walking back up to Sunny as she did up her own hair into a tall and loose ponytail. "The only reason I'm doing this is I am tired of living with the guilt of leaving Alex behind. And whether or not it counts, I missed you both." She looked between the two with a look of anguish plaguing her pale face. "But talking to you was too much pain, and I just... wanted to forget." She also threw her bottle of vodka into Charlie's bag at the last minute, and then looking at Sunny. "So, are you in or out?"

"If you want to back out, Sunny, Go ahead." Emory spat, Sunjai's dark eyes bore into hers as she came closer. Her fists clenched as if she just might swing. "You act like this only affected you, but it affected all of us. We saw things, horrible things....they make fairies out to be these little pretty things that run around and give you candy. No, you remember, the monsters and the blood and how we were tricked into thinking fairytales were real. Seeing things that aren't suppose to be real; they change a person. It didn't help curb Sunjai's rage. "Doesn't do much good," She said and walked out. Sunjai shook her head. She couldn't believe Emory's response. She spoke as if Sunjai wasn't the one holding on to his hand when he fell.

"You're missing the point..." Sunjai replied with a roll of her eyes.

"I've been trying forget it happened, for six years. Forgetting means...everything. Even people." Sunjai huffed. "Listen to yourself. Trying to forget? That's the problem." She breathed exasperatedly

"The only reason I'm doing this is I am tired of living with the guilt of leaving Alex behind. And whether it or not it counts; I missed you both." She said and Sunjai could see the hurt and pain in her eyes, so she calmed. "But talking to you wss too much pain and I just...wanted to forget." She added and Sunjai took a breath as tears brimmed her eyes. "So are you in or out?"

"I never said I wasn't going." Sunjai began. "All this time, Forgetting was impossible, There are literally voices in my head that won't let me forget. I still wear the scar from Alex's nails digging into my arm as he lefted me off the ground..." She said and grabbed her dagger, with 'Dreamer' etched in the iron, "But this isn't about guilt..."She said.

"The problem is...What if it's not Alex." She said, looking at Charlie. "What if it is a trap. I mean 6 years to the day? It's not like the portals on a schedule. I want to go. I'm GOING to go but it's not to atone for losing Alex, but to keep from losing to two of you...I'm not gonna make the same mistake...leaving a friend behind, even though you both left me alone..." Her voice dropped off in a whisper.

For years she wondered why they wouldn't tell the adults what happened...and aftr years of therapy and thousands of pills she understood....but still she resented them for it. She was left alone with nothing but the night terrors and the voices.

She glanced at Charlie, Emory wanted to forget, that's why she left but what about him.

Charlie watched in silence as Sunny and Em experience a bonding moment, moving around them to continue packing the bags as Em had started so that they had the most available space. The bags couldn't be to heavy or else they would be more of a burden when they were in Almadarin. Sunny and Em had both made a point of questioning the credibility of the letter and Charlie had experience his own doubt when he first got it, but then the idea that just because he doubted it, he left Alex behind again... Well that set him running towards the only place he could think of.

There was a brief silence as Charlie realised Sunny was looking at him. He glanced up at her before sighing. "What can I say? You're right about one thing Sunny, I was a coward. When we got back, I couldn't deal with it, I couldn't handle the guilt that we left Alex behind. I wasn't strong enough to just try and accept the fact and leave it behind like Em did and I was confident enough to tell people the truth like you did. I ran away to New York and only just came back here a few months ago.", He paused and leaned back against the wall.

"I though about meeting you all again, and I apologies about not getting your letters Sunny, It didn't really get them until we got back as my parents considered it to traumatic to have someone close to me in the past brought to the present of my mind. But lets all be honest here Sunny, You and Alex weren't the only ones left behind, it's not like me and Em stayed in contact. We all left each other when we should of stayed together. Alex was left in Almadarin and you were left in a mental hospital, asking for our help. I couldn't of done anything, my parents already thought I was going through post traumatic stress so I had no credibility and Em, well like she said, she just wanted to forget and you also needed to be forgotten.".

Charlie sighed, it didn't really explain much... Or maybe it explained everything? He didn't really know anymore and right now he didn't care. These were his friends of the past, and he loved them, but if they decided they didn't want to remain friends after this, then that was okay with him. It might hurt, but he would accept it.

"Now lets go, We all had our reasons for leaving but that isn't important anymore. What's important now is the fact that Alex is asking for help and I am not taking the chance that it is not him and not going.", he said, shrugging on his bag and passing the other to Em before looking at the two girls and smiled, a real smile, "It's really good to see you all again.", he said in an awkward voice, because it was and he hadn't made it clear until now how much it had helped, to see these two again.

When midnight finally came, Emory ushered her friends out the back door, her hand wrapped around the strange book that Sunny had had with her. The moon was full and shining brightly in the sky, shimmering silver and glowing down on the thick forest at the back of Emory's house. Charlie carried one bag, Emory carried the other and she could feel her veins already filling with a small shot of adrenaline as they followed a small wooden path through the dark trees.

As soon as they came to an old looking fort that was breaking down, she bit her lip, sucking in a breath when she remembered Alex's form there, running around it and climbing inside; holding his hand out to Emory and smiling at her. She smiled back slightly before clearing her throat and looking down at the broken twigs and leaves and opened the strange book, her fingers running over the strange pages before looking around the seemingly quiet forest.

She started muttering the same words as Sunny, a sigh coming from her lips as her heart was pounding violently and her fists became sweaty, her mouth struggling to form the words upon the page. But as she put them together, the moon struck down a beam of light onto the forest, a shining star slowly opening in front of them as the wind whipped their hair around and nearly forced Emory backwards. But then there it was, the shimmering silver circle with blurred pictures in front of them, a glowing light washing over their skin and telling them to come inside.

Emory looked at the other two before hanging Sunny her book back. "I'll... go first." She said hesitantly, her fingers clutching the side of her dagger as she slowly started to go through. One leg after the other, her throat growing thick as she closed her eyes for a moment, the crossing between worlds giving her body a major zing before the temperature suddenly dropped and a chilly wind was blowing against her pale skin.

When she opened her eyes, her eyebrows furrowed. They were not where they were supposed to be. The forest was twisted and rotting, strange sounds coming from other places... the last time they came through, the portal always led to a green field of beautiful flowers and lush grass. But this time, they were in the center of an evil forest, and her hand gripped the dagger tighter as doubt and fear started to grip her senses. "Guys, wait." She said, but they were already coming through.

Charlie watched with vague excitement he had always felt as a kid when they went though the portal, the underlining anticipation and fear as he stepped through the gate to another world. Charlie was jolted from his memories as a hand closed around his and he found his cheeks redden slightly as he looked over at Sunny. She had changed since he had last seen her...

'Not the time.', he thought irritably to himself as he tried to will away the slight blush. You would think he was still a kid by the way he behaved sometimes! He felt her let go and enter, following behind and stopping suddenly so as not to crash into the two girls who stood still staring at the dark forest.

There is was again, that thrill of adventure that shot straight up his spine as he thought of the danger, the adrenaline, the fight. His hand immediately went to the dagger at his belt, which he pulled out and held loosely in his hand. He could remember everything now he was here again. How to fight, how to survive and how to protect himself from the dark fae, though it had all been a child's game back then... Now it was more real then anything else.

"Well, you were right. It was a trap.", he commented dryly, glancing around him once more, eyes peeled for moment and ears pricked. "So do you suggest we keep standing here and waiting for the dark Fae to find us? If i remember correctly, they always seemed to know when we arrived which makes this time no different. They will be here soon and we need to find someplace to take cover.", he said, his eyes scanning their surroundings once more.

"We should try and make our way to the Silver queen. She is probably our best bet in getting out of here again and not to mention, she will probably know where... Well... If... Alex is... you know...", the last part came out mumbled and awkward as he looked to his feet, refusing to complete what he was about to say.

As he heard Em shout, He felt Sunny take his hand and they were running. He mind blanked out for a second as survival took over and he began to follow his instincts to the letter. He paused momentarily as Sunny was ripped from his grasp by a vine, though before he could do anything to help her Sunny had already saved herself. Then they were running once more. Some where in the back of his mind, he noted the red stain on her side but the though was pushed away instead as he worked trying to find a place they could take cover.

'East...East...', he ran over the direction in his mind, trying to place it on the Almadarin maps he had once studied as a kid. They were heading toward the sea? He couldn't remember any names or information seeing as he had tried to ride his mind completely of Almadarin but he could still see the picture of the map. For some reason going towards east felt like a bad idea...

"EM!", he yelled out as the woods flashed past him and sunny, he hoped the other girl was still with them, "We need to find someplace to take cover, we can't just keep running! Most Fae here are faster then us, Our best bet make them lose our trail.", He yelled again, waiting for a response as he ran along side sunny towards east, trying to ignore that sinking feeling inside of him.
