Leon is a physically fit young man with short, choppy blond hair, and a toned, wiry frame. He wears a black zipless hoodie with a white inside and black dots running vertically down the inside of his hood, mirrored by white dots on the outside. Underneath, he wears a tucked-in grey shirt with long sleeves that he rolls up to his elbows. His jeans are worn with a brown belt and are tucked into black strapped boots that reach to about half of his shins.
O D D I T I E S
Leon has cat-like golden eyes, pronounced canine teeth, and clawed hands, and toes. He has a few scars on his body from years of combat, but nothing too eye catching. He is blind in his left eye.

Prideful ✧ Ill Tempered ✦ Sarcastic ✧ Protective ✦ Aggressive
Leon is the embodiment of his animal side, of a lion. He is strong, courageous, and dependable while at the same time being aggressive, prideful, and rather arrogant. Leon tends to think of himself as being stronger, and faster than other hybrids, which he is mostly right in several cases. It's something that he is extremely proud of. He tends to be fearless in his actions, not even flinching when faced with any kind of danger. He won't back down from anything, no matter what it is. This bullheaded stubbornness more times than not lands him in deep trouble. When given a task Leon will not stop until he's completed it. He will not give up on anything, even if it's hopeless. He has a difficult time accepting defeat, or running from a fight. You practically have to knock him out in order to get him to back away from a battle.
Leon's first response to anything is to punch it. That's his solution to most of life's problems. He has a legendary temper to him, and is known for pretty much blowing up on whoever gets on his nerves. It is this aggressiveness that tends to make it difficult to work with him. That is why it's typically best to allow Leon to work with a small number of people, so that he doesn't get in the way of other people. Leon is a surprisingly smart young man, and is able to think quickly on his feet. Leon does possess some capability as a leader as he's able to quickly formulate plans on the fly, and is also charismatic enough to be one, but his typical behavior tends to turn people off of the idea of following him, not that he minds really.
Despite being rather arrogant, and aggressive Leon is extremely protective of others. Deep down he does care about others, in his own way even if it's not apparent. He will do whatever it takes to protect those he cares about. He is loyal almost to a fault, especially to his fellow hybrids. Though Leon can not stand being looked after though. He absolutely hates the feeling of being weak, and being treated like a child. Despite his gruff exterior Leon can actually be rather playful. He does enjoy playing games with his fellow hybrids, and can be rather kind towards, especially towards children. He can be somewhat lazy as well, and like a cat he enjoys taking naps, and laying about in the sun. This is merely a byproduct of his animal side.
Leon has a multitude of interests, but none more prominent than his love of machinery. He quite enjoys tinkering with mechanics, usually by looking underneath the hood of cars. He is also an avid reader. He is an especially big fan of science fiction, and horror novels. His personal favorite is, fittingly, The Island of Doctor Moreau, which he identifies with due to it's plot about animal-human hybrids. Leon does hold some pain, and is secretly depressed. He feels rather lost, and incomplete most of the time. Though he does have his reasons for feeling that way, but he won't admit it. So all in all Leon can be considered a tough, and fierce lion, but deep down he's a playful pussycat at heart.
{"Yeah, I am a badass."}

✦Super Strength - Leon is deceptively strong. He is able to lift nearly 11 times his own weight, but if he pushes himself he may exceed this.
✧Senses - Leon has incredible senses, particularly his senses of smell, and hearing. This makes him a highly skilled tracker.
✦Agility - Leon has, fittingly, cat-like agility, speed, and reflexes.
✧Night Vision - Leon is able to see eight times better in the dark than a human, though that is not to say he's got complete night vision, if it's pitch black then he's just as blind as anyone else. But he's figured out how to use his other incredible senses to compensate for that if need be.
S T R E N G T H S
✦Combat - Leon is an apex predator after all, so it's not a stretch to believe that he's an excellent combatant. Though he has little to no formal training outside of basic he has learned to trust his animal instincts, and is quite an accomplished combatant, using his incredible strength, and speed to overwhelm even the most battle hardened of foes.
✧Tracking - Leon excels at using his incredible senses at tracking. He's about as good as any bloodhound.
✦Quick Thinking - Leon excels under pressure, and is able to come up with surprisingly strategic plans on the fly.
✧Loyal - To those that have earned his trust he is incredibly loyal to them, though he won't out right say it.
✦Mechanics - Leon has always had an affinity towards mechanics. Cars and other types of machinery have always made sense to him.
W E A K N E S S E S
✦Senses - As much of a strength his heightened senses can be, it can be just as big of a weakness. His senses can be easily overwhelmed by a strong enough smell, or loud enough sound can almost cripple him.
✧Temper - His temper often gets the better of him, and he'll often make obvious mistakes.
✦Left Eye - Leon is blind in his left eye. It can be somewhat troublesome for his depth perception, and usually has to rely on his other senses.
✧Prideful - Leon is stubbornly prideful, and will never admit when he's wrong, or accept help.
✦Metabolism - Leon has an incredibly fast metabolism, and requires a great amount of food to function. He needs roughly about 90 pounds of food a day.

Leon Cassidy, experiment number nine wasn't born alone. Leon was in fact a twin. He had a twin sister, older by barely a minute named Ariel. Growing up the two were inseparable. In fact it was preferred for them to be together. They worked much better when together. While Leon was always the loud, brash, and aggressive one of the twins, Ariel was always the thoughtful, calm, and level-headed of the two. They complimented each other rather well, and would often be sent on high risk missions for the U.S together. Ones that would be nearly impossible for any other Hybrid to complete themselves. They were dubbed the Lion Commandos due to being sent into highly dangerous areas. Most of their missions involved places such as the Middle East, and Africa.
The Cassidy twins were at their best when working together. They needed no words to communicate with one another, it was almost as if they could read each others mind. Though that wasn't the case of course, they simply knew everything about one another to the point where they rarely needed words. Both Leon and Ariel had their differences in abilities of course. Leon had a slightly higher Success Ratio than his sister, and was much more physically capable than her. But what Ariel lacked in speed, and strength she more than made up for it in intelligence.
The two were nearly unstoppable, nearly. They were in the Middle East, they were assigned to infiltrate, and neutralize a known war criminal. They got in, and everything was going smoothly enough. That was until they saw the warlord's personal body guard, a fellow Hybrid. The other Hybrid was some sort of snake, probably a cobra or other such reptile hybrid, as it was apparent by him having some sort of venom. It was a difficult fight for even the two of them. The Hybrid blinded Leon by spitting venom in his eyes, leaving Ariel to fight the man mostly by herself.
While as hard as she fought, Ariel was no match for a Hybrid on that scale. She was bitten by the Hybrid on the arm. In a fit of rage Leon managed to rely on his other senses, and defeated the Hybrid, meanwhile Ariel also managed to complete their mission by killing the warlord. Leon had to use nearly half of their water supply to wash out his eyes, but even then he could just barely see out of them. But his eyes were least of his worries, it was Ariel's arm that was the biggest concern. With no other option Ariel ordered Leon to cut her arm off to prevent the poison form spreading further, as it was too late to do anything else, and there was no time to wait for the extraction to come. So Leon did as she ordered, and chopped off her arm.
Despite being nearly blind Leon managed to stabilize her wound, and cauterize the wound. He contacted their superiors for pick up, but they still had to trek nearly three miles of scorching hot desert to the extraction zone. Somehow Leon managed to carry Ariel on his back, who had long since passed out due to the pain from her wounds being cauterized, across the desert, and to the extraction point. Though most of the way he had to crawl. Once they were picked up the two were separated. Ariel was taken to a different medical facility than him. Once Leon recovered he found that he was completely blind in his left eye, as he was not treated soon enough. He demanded to see his sister, but he was informed that she had died, and they refused to allow him to see her body. This infuriated Leon who nearly destroyed the entire wing of the medical facility he was staying in.
Eventually he was subdued. After that he fell into a depression. Though he hid it well. He didn't want others to feel sorry for him. He refused to be pitied, to be treated with kid gloves because he had seemingly last apart of himself. But Leon refused to believe that Ariel was dead. He had to see a body, he had to know for sure, and until then he will not believe that she is dead. He has been secretly searching for his sister in his spare time, in secret of course.

{"I am a lion! Hear me roar!"}
'Alright, five minutes. That's all I got.' Leon carefully moved around the facility he was at, avoiding any sort of personal, doctors, security, etc. Stealth was not his favorite thing in the world. That was more closer to Ariel's specialty. Give him a straight up brawl any day. 'Remember this is for her. I can't get caught. I can't stop.' He repeated in his mind. He then started to round a corner that led to a record keeping room that held information on the statuses of the hybrids, but he stopped as he saw two men posted to guard the room. He growled softly to himself, he knew this wasn't going to be easy.
Leon clinched his fists in annoyance. He couldn't just attack these guys. He needed to be quiet. No one could know that he was there. He then noticed on the wall behind him there was an air vent. That would have to due. Leon knelled down, and quietly pulled it off. He crawled into the air duct, and slipped the cover back over the vent. Though it was apparent that it had been ripped off, it wasn't that noticeable unless you were actually looking at it. So it would have to due. Leon crawled through the ducts, going as slow as he possibly could so he wouldn't make any noise to alert anyone.
Once he made it to the room he silently pushed the vent cover off, and entered the room. He quickly made his around the file cabinets as he looked for a specific one. He opened up a drawer with a label above it with the numbers five through ten. He shuffled through the files inside until he came upon number eight. Ariel's number. He pulled out the file, and sat it on the ground. He looked up at the door, and the same two guards where still there, and still oblivious to his presences. He opened up the file, and as expected most of it was redacted. But he didn't care about that, he already knew what was redacted, what he wanted to know was on the last pages.
The pages weren't any different than what he was told, though they did have one discrepancy. 'Subject died from injuries sustained in the field despite best efforts to save her....blah....blah...blah medical jargon. Subject was pronounced dead by.....by Dr. Warren? And the body was promptly incinerated.' His eyes ran across the pages once again, staring at Warren's name. That wasn't the one who he was told that treated his sister. He was told it was someone named Dr. Schmidt, and not the damn project lead. It made him wonder what else was wrong. He looked up at the door, and saw a team of agents approach the two guards standing out there.
Leon groaned as he closed up the file, and quickly placed it back in the cabinet, and promptly closed it. "Have you seen any sign of Leon Cassidy, the Lion Hybrid? We have orders to take him in, and we have reason to believe he may try to infiltrate the records room." Leon overheard the lead agent asked the guards. 'Shit. How'd they know?' There was no time to worry about that, he had to get out of there. "No sir, we haven't seen any sign of any hybrid. Lion or otherwise." The guard replied as Leon got closer to the vent. "If it's all the same to you I'd rather investigate the room myself." And with that they began to enter the room.
'Dammit!' He quickly hunched down behind a file cabinet before they could see him. He eyed the air vent, contemplating whether he could remain behind the cabinet, or just make a dash for the vent. The agents searched the room for any signs of him. As the lead agent approached the file cabinet that held the file that Leon was searching for but a moment ago he noticed something off about it. It wasn't closed all the way, being just barely cracked open. "He was here." The agent stated. He then scanned the room. "Or else he is still in here." Leon took in a deep gulp, he had to get out of there now. He then crawled his way to the vent.
"There he is!" One of the agents shouted as he spotted Leon. He jumped up from the ground, and scratched the back of his head. "Oh hey guys! Uh....this isn't the bathroom is it? I got so turned around! Well I'll be off." Leon stated with a slight grin as he inched his way towards the door. The agents then pulled their tranquilizer guns out on him. "Well that's a bit of an overreaction ain't it?" He said as he slowly raised his hands up. "Sorry but we've got orders to take you in. You can come quietly or we will bring you in by force." The lead agent stated. "Alright. Just answer me this, you owe me that much Smith, is this about me searching for my sister?" He asked. Once he got a good enough look at the agent he recognized him as one of the people he and his sister frequently worked with.
"As far I as know, no. We've got orders to bring in any and all hybrids. I don't think it's about that kid, but it certainly doesn't help things." Smith stated as he approached Leon with a pair of handcuffs in his hand. "Right, thanks for the honesty. And for the record Smith, I'm sorry. I always liked you." Leon thanked him with a nod. Smith raised an eyebrow at this. As he got closer a sly grin swept across Leon's face. Leon swiftly grabbed Smith's right arm, and twisted his arm behind his back, and used him as a human shield. "Make one move, and I'll slash his damn jugular!" He threatened as he placed his right hand on the Smith's neck.
"What's the plan here kid? They don't care about a grunt like me, they have their orders to bring you in no matter what. Don't make this any harder than it has to be." Smith stated. "Yeah, don't worry about that. I'll think of something, I always do." Leon stated as he inched his way to the exit, keeping his back to the wall, and eyes on the agents. Once he got closer to the door he the agents got more unnerved. "Use your tranqs and just shoot us!" Smith ordered. As the agents opened fire on them Leon used Smith as a human shield.
Leon then let out a loud roar as he threw Smith's limp body at the other agents. Leon then rushed forward at the agents, grabbing the closest agent by the back of the head, and tossing him across the room. As the agents continued to fire at him he ducked down, and rushed around the room, tossing the agents aside. As he knocked another aside a dart came out of his blind spot, and lodged itself in his left shoulder. Leon groaned as he pulled it out quickly. He then stumbled back slightly. More, and more darts were shot at him as he finally fell to the ground, and passed out. "Sorry....Ariel...."
