PERSONALITY:
{Charismatic, Impulsive, Adaptive, Arrogant, Mischievous, Dramatic}
Parker has his own brand of what most people would call charisma- a trait that isn't exactly in the Solis house, which is known for it's charismatic and easygoing students. His charisma is the sort that one might find in the person that everyone scolds, but secretly loves all the same. He has this endless energy and cheerfulness that simply draws people in- after all, when you sing, the mountains echo it back, and when one laughs, the world laughs with you. He learned this at some point in his life, and thus came to be the sort of person who makes a point with his happiness- and is able to pull people towards him through it. He has a magnetic quality, really, that makes people want to go along with what he says, even though reason tells them not to. It's because he seems to imply the sort of memories and adventures of youth that one looks fondly upon- a Peter Pan of sorts, perhaps.

And this hint of adventure and carefree tendencies stems from an impulsive streak that is a mile wide. The only thing Parker cannot resist is temptation- or so he claims, quoting Oscar Wilde. Thinking things through is what he leaves to other people, such as his friend Erin, while he charges into things head first and without a single thought as to what the consequences of his reckless actions, for they often are reckless, might have. While this impulsiveness has gotten him into plenty of situations, it also has been the source of many grand memories. Parker doesn't let opportunities pass him by because he doesn't take them quickly enough- and thus finds himself in all sorts of fun [and trouble]. Most of his adventures begin with a tiny, thoughtless decision, and escalate from there. It can never be claimed that Parker is merely a spectator- he likes to grab life by the lapels and has his way with it.

His impulse has been allowed to grow thanks to a very effective fertilizer- adaptability. Sure, he may get himself into tight situations, or strange ones, often enough, but Parker also has the capacity to change and evolve enough to rise to such occasions. He is a quick thinker if there ever was one, the sort who relies on in-the-moment processing and gut instincts. Perhaps he may not solve the long-term problem, but Parker can deal with the now. Given any number of situations, he is capable of altering himself and adapting to them. It may draw into question how concrete a person he really is, this capacity, but he's also seemed more fluid than solid- changing to fit the container, free and moving.

Parker does have a bit of an ego, that much must be admitted. Part of his social competence comes from the confidence that he is worth listening to and liking. Just believing that enough yourself is often a step to make other people, inherently impressionable, believe the very same thing of you. Of course, Parker is not simply confident- he is downright arrogant. The concept of him failing is so out there to Parker, despite having happened before, that he acts as though he cannot lose, speaks as though his words are fact, and grins like the sort of person for whom everything has always worked out. His utter lack of preparation and consideration for the future stems wholly from the certainty he possess that he is good enough to figure things out when he gets there, that he'll be able to work everything out for himself. As of yet, this has never led to a great failure for him, but it surely must eventually- especially if he were ever to be rejected or tossed aside.

There is a somewhat impish side of Parker. Well, perhaps that is his entire side, for he is the sort to sneak out at night, bend rules like rubber, and break them altogether if it fits his need. Parker loves pranks and laughter and freedom and reckless bravery- they, to him, define youth, and he has always been terrified of growing old. They interweave with his flair for dramatics- something that has been a source of amusement and irritation for those around him for many years. If he is going to do something, Parker will do it big, or not alone. He doesn't do one-acts or half-shows or 'good efforts'. If life is a stage, and poorly cast, Parker plans to be the exception to the rule. If nothing else, he has an inherent craving for attention, and seeks it out through absurd stunts and pure cockiness.
