Character Name: Haze Ravenlight
Race: Human (mostly)

Back Story: Haze is a remnant from before gene splicing created the Dims. He was enrolled in a super-soldier program in which DNA was altered directly, not spliced with animal DNA. However the results were just as unpredictable and Haze was given strength comparable to the Dims, incredible agility and speed, but it also turned his hair pink and all but stopped his aging. Haze was assigned as a guard while the scientists were working on a rather violent dim and was unable to put him down until he had killed one of the scientists. He didn't really see it as much of a loss.
After the Dims were brought to public attention, Haze knew there would be no justice for them and that they would be treated like monsters. He went out of his way to get a job as a SWAT officer so that he could protect the Dims from those that would do them harm. He too can feel the rising tension brewing in the streets and he knows that if it comes down to it, he will fight for the Dims.
