Et Partitus

"The great divide"

a part of Et Partitus, by Davien.

A giant concrete and steel wall, a few passages here and there that are guarded, but not seemingly heavily enough.

Erected in the mass confusion after the discovery, incorporation, and "acceptance" of the existence of Dims, the barrier stands as a less than subtle metaphor of the stark separation between Dims and Humans in class, wealth, and status. To view top down one would see an average american city on the east, and what looked like a permanent homeless camp that has crept up the existing dilapidated buildings and side of the mountain.
