|History|
Tyler and Kendra have known each other since forever they grew up together in San Diego, California. Since they've known one another since birth, basically
with their parents working together, human nature causes them to feel feelings they've never felt before... with anyone. They did everything together, whether it's watching movies or eating dinner. Then at the age of 18, he moved with his family to Kennebunkport, Maine. He tried keeping in touch but the two quickly lost touch and never saw each other again. During his years in Kennebunkport he met Piper Carmichael, whom he later got engaged to. During these years he was in Kennebunkport he also worked really hard and begun working for a company, he later buys the company and begins running which was able to make more successful than before (all for Kendra).

Kendra laughed at little Ethan's faces. "Yeah, sis, please join us!" She looked behind her, just in time to see a young man moving in. He reminded her of someone she knew before.. Tyler. He looked like an older version, but she shrugged, as the last time that they had talked, he was in Maine. She shook her head, and gave Ethan back to Zoe. "I'll go get dressed, and we can go to the Cafe Tristen wanted." She kissed Tristen's head, still laughing at her reaction to all of it.

Summer eyed the young man that was carrying boxes, he looked oddly familiar.
"Is it just me or did that young man look familiar?" she asks.
After a few moments of thinking, it clicked into her mind.

"Hey, that man looks like the one from the picture of Tristen's dad. Don't you guys agree?"
Summer looks at Kendra and Zoe, seeing if they agree with her or not.

Kendra rolled her eyes at Tristen's comment. "Please, baby girl, I just got you a milkshake yesterday. Just be good." She laughed, and then frowned when Summer said that. "Yes, he does, but it can't be him. There's no way in..." She suddenly grew quiet at the mention of him. "Earth, that he would even be near me." Kendra sighed, and walked off to her room, shutting her door.

She HATED when anyone mentioned Tyler, it brought back her whole childhood, and she hated every moment of her childhood now, only taking Tristen to see her grandparents on holidays. It wasn't them, it was the town she didn't like. All the elders she used to hand out flowers to, where dead now, but their great grandkids were her age, and thanked her constantly for making their great grandparent's last years more desirable. She hated everything that reminded her of Tyler, constantly leaving the picture turned down. "I'll always be there for love and for fear, just wipe away those tears.." She mumbled a few times, then threw on her outfit.

Kendra threw on a white, sheer tank, buttoning a white shirt over it, and slipped in some jeans. She brushed her hair, and made sure it was straight, then put on some light make-up. The make-up being eyeliner, a pale pink lipstick, and light foundation, that made her skin look even more pure. She finally grabbed her big, pale baby blue purse, putting it on her shoulder, and slipped her feet into some boots, zipping them up, and strapping them a little tight, as she shut the door to her room.

Kendra made a quick, last-look in the mirror by her door, and then smiled up at Zoe, Tristen, Ethan, and Summer. "Let's go."
She then suddenly stopped. "Wait! Why don't we invite Kyle?" She pondered a moment, remembering the clean-shaven man. "He's always so nice, and Tristen likes him." She dug out her phone from her pocket, sending him a quick text.

"Hey, Kyle! Kendra here. Why don't you come with us to the cafe today? Meet us there."

Kyle's brain was just about to explode from too much thinking when he got a text from Kendra. He looked at it and sighed, then smiled a little, knowing he shouldn't keep avoiding her, as long as he didn't mention it, everything should be fine.

"Sure thing, I'm on my way."

He smiled as he headed his way to the Cafe.

"I'll be good." Tristen sighed and nodded, watching her mother leave to put some clothes on. Someone had said something about Tyler, her father that she had never met. It was obvious to her that it bothered Kendra, but Tristen stayed quiet (which in itself was unlike the little girl). She always felt terribly awkward when someone talked about her father. She didn't know how to feel about it, because she had never met the man. It was a very confusing subject to her. When her mother came back out, everyone seemed to be ready to go and Tristen smiled again. She really wanted to go out with everyone. To her favorite cafe at that.

"Yay! Kyle! I hope he's coming." She said and felt the push on her back by her mother's hand, urging her out the door. Tristen followed everyone out and zipped her jacket up, though the weather was nice. She was a skinny girl and was easily cold. "Mom, where's Kyle been?" She asked and grabbed her mother's hand, wondering where the man had been for the last long while. Tristen loved Kyle and missed him.

"I miss Kyle." She said and sighed, unknowingly squeezing her mother's hand gently. Kyle had been the closest thing to a father figure she'd had since they moved here and she had bonded with him right away. Despite the scruffy beard and the way he seemed to be serious all the time, Tristen had taken a liking to him from the moment she met him. Plus, he was always nice to her and brought her flowers and toys and other gifts. "Do you think grandma and grandad will visit us again soon?" She now wanted to know, as it had been a while since she had seen her grandparents as well.

Tristen deliberately ignored the whole Tyler thing back at the apartment. She didn't want to think about it or talk about it. Neither did her mom, it would seem. It was a touchy subject, but Tristen still hoped that she would get to meet her father one day nevertheless. Every child should have a father. That wasn't something that she had thought about, but something she new deep down.

After waiting for Tristan's reponce, she turned to the window and wondered where Kyle and Kendra went, then turned to the door and wondered where summer went. Something was going on here. She'd have to confront Kendra about is later.

She took a moment to think about the situation. Kendra, Kyle and the deal with Tyler. Something was up with SummZoe watched as the others walked away from the table, leaving her alone with the kids. She sighed, taking a sip from her sweet tea and sqeezing a bit of lemon in, though that quickly backfired as some of the juice hit the papercut she had got while unpacking and was to lazy to put a bandaid over.

"Oh, ow!" She hissed, grabbing her finger. Her sudden outburst caused Ethan to wake up and stare up at her with his big blue eyes, as if to say "You okay, mama?". Zoe suddenly ignored the pain in her finger and bend down to tickle her son a bit under the chin. The little one giggled, then yawned cutely and fell back asleep.

"She yawned, and turned towards her niece who had been sitting quietly beside her. "I didn't get a chance to say before, but sheesh kido! You sure got tall since I last saw ya!" She laughed loudly, her normal infectious laugh that spreads around a room when heard. "You keep that and you'll be, like..."She stretched her arm up way over her head. "This tall!"

er, (She'd find that out later). Zoe felt completely in the dark. But she knew that if something was up with her family (blood related or not) she'd be there. The best thing she could do for everyone right now was to be there for those who needed her. That's what she was best at.

People started returning to the table, and they continued on their lunch.

But whatever was going to happen that day had yet to occur. Zoe knew to trust her gut feeling. It was the same one she had when her boyfriend ran out on her, after all.

As Tyler left the last box in the room he locked up, it was probably a great idea to get some food he hasn't eaten since the morning. He did see a cafe along the way, perhaps it was a good idea to go check it out, so he can get some ideas as to where he can show Piper, when she gets here.
He tapped another message to Piper.
"Honey? I am just going to get a afternoon meal, what are you doing? Why aren't you responding?"
However, just as he entered the cafe, he saw something that wanted to make him turn around and change plans. He was hesitant, he tried to tell himself to get out right that minutes, but his foot wasn't budging, it almost as if his body was not under his mind's control. There sat near the other end of the cafe a group of people, that made his mind flood with emotions. One of them was Kendra the love of his life or at least once was and probably still is, at the same table sat Zoe, Kendra's sister and Kyle, Kendra's best friend, however there was a little girl next to Kyle, who is she, he wondered. Noticing how she called Kendra mother, she couldn't possibly married someone, at least not according to Kyle the last time at the bar, but then he didn't ask anyways.
Finally, exhausted he quickly rushed out the door, he still doesn't have the courage to face her....

Kendra laughed at Tristen's attempt at "flounder", then narrowed her eyes at Kyle. "I don't know if you're going to like flounder, baby." Kendra nodded anyway, letting the child go out of her comfort zone. Kendra frowned at Summer and Kyle's little love story. She needed to breathe.

Kendra stood up from the table, and kissed Tristen's head, before leaving. "I'll be back, 'kay honey? Flounder's fine with me." Kendra awaited Tristen's nod, and felt Zoe staring at her as she left. As she left, a familiar face jotted out the door, and started to run off. "Wait!" Kendra raced after him, hoping he'd stop. "Tyler..?" She stood outside, looking straight at him, with the saddest eyes she's ever had. She could've been crying in that moment, but she was biting her lip.

Kyle looked up as Kendra left and when he saw her chase after the man he'd seen the night before at the club he shot to his feet. "Kendra!" He called after her and took a step to chase after her then hesitated. She still loved him, there was no way he could ever get into her heart with her giving it so completely to that bastard. He looked down, fists clenched. What was he even doing?

Tyler tried getting away as soon as possible but then with Kendra chasing after him he just can't help stopping. Looking back at Kendra, Tyler hesitated but then pretending he is calm he answered "I am sorry, I am afraid you have the wrong person" and then turning away to leave.
Now Tyler was really exhausted the meeting was just too much, it probably a good time to get a drink.

Kendra's jaw dropped, and her eyes grew huge, and she stopped biting her bottom lip. "You f**king bastard!" Kendra turned him around, and slapped him hard across the cheek with her hand. His cheek was a bright, tomato red, and so was her hand. "Tyler f**kin' Martins, I know exactly who you are. Why do you think I don't? " Kendra caught her breath for a minute, then screamed, not caring who heard her. Kendra swallowed. "Her name is Tristen. I had her a month after I turned 19. NINE MONTHS, after you left. Now, I don't know if you're smart enough to do the math..." Kendra then grabbed his collar, and gripped it tightly as she whispered in his ear. "But, you're a father." She let go of his collar abruptly, and pushed him back, without knowing it. " I loved you. I didn't have the heart to tell you to grow a pair, and come be a father. And..." Kendra looked at the sidewalk beneath her feet momentarily, then looked back up, wondering what hiding spot Zoe was in. "Here." Kendra slipped a card with her number into his jacket pocket. "Your beautiful, amazing, smart, and talented daughter wants to know her father. " She sighed, turning. "I shouldn't have told her about you."

Kendra slapped him right across his face and yelled "You f**king bastard! Tyler f**kin' Martins, I know exactly who you are. Why do you think I don't?" and of course those words were exactly what he deserved. He stared into her eyes with shock as she grabbed his collar, he can feel the anger in her eyes, almost as if she was going to explode with words right into his face, but then she didn't.
She simply said "But, you're a father." the sudden surprise rush into his head. So that girl was...his daughter. Pushing him back Kendra continued "I loved you. I didn't have the heart to tell you to grow a pair, and come be a father. And..." for some reason he wanted to say I loved you, and I still do, but those words didn't come out, what came out was only the surprise in his eyes. "Here." Kendra slipped a card into his jacket pocket. "Your beautiful, amazing, smart, and talented daughter wants to know her father, I shouldn't have told her about you." Clearly, Tyler was still a bit caught in the moment, he wanted to say something, but he just can't.
When he turned with his back to the cafe, it was just not easy taking that step. Reality is just cruelty, when he doesn't want to face it, he'll go get a drink, and this time was the one close by....

Kyle nodded to her and left, hurrying to the night club, taking shortcuts through alleys so he made it there in only ten minutes. He sighed as he entered. He looked at the ground, his eyes deep with thought. He wished he could have Kendra, but it was obvious to him that that wasn't going to happen, not with that bastard around. But he didn't feel as bad as he did at first, maybe he had Summer to thank for that. He smiled softly and began preparing for work.

The club was already busy despite it being only six. But it was Friday night so it wasn't exactly surprising to Kyle. He shook out his drinks, tossing them in the air behind his back and spinning them in his hands. A true bar tender didn't just serve the drinks, he used them for entertainment. After giving the lady in front of him her drink he turned to the next one. "Hello there, what would you..." He tilted his head in surprise. "Summer?"

Kendra sighed. "You running away, again?" She screamed at Tyler as he left, and then paced back and forth in a nearby alleyway.

She couldn't take it anymore. She couldn't take him anymore. Kendra loved Tristen, and she wouldn't dare take her own life just because of Tristen's idiot father. What had she seen in him?

But, Tristen doesn't need to see her mother in such a vulnerable state, either. It'd go against everything Kendra has taught her so far.

Kendra climbed in her car, and buckled, the rested her hands on the steering wheel. She stared at the cafe, seeing Zoe helping Tristen feed Ethan. She smiled at the sight, then bit her bottom lip. She quickly lost the battle against her emotions, giving in, and crying.

Image

After about a minute, the crying got so bad, Kendra was letting out small squeals, and leaned her head against the steering wheel. She finally toughened up, and put the key into the ignition, stomping the gas pedal, and going where ever her heart lead her.

Tristen stared up at her aunt and wondered if she was actually going to get a straight answer this time. Her mouth was shut as Zoe began to explain. The more words came out of her mouth, the more Tristen's eyes widened. Her father? No, her father was gone. She wanted to get to know her father and meet him one day, but she had never seen him! "What?" Was all she could muster as her lip began to quiver and she fought to hold back tears.

"No, my dad is gone." She said under her breath, as a single tear rolled down her cheek. Tristen didn't know that she would reach like this, but she couldn't do or say anything, so she just folded her hands in her lap and looked down at the ground as she tried to hold back the tears.

Eventually the sobbing stopped and she could control herself. Tristen didn't know what to think about all this or how to react to it. How could you react to something you didn't know anything about? Her aunt was comforting however and it felt great to be here with family. Most of all she just wanted to go and lie down somewhere with her teddy.

"I thought you were supposed to drop me off at Kyle's place, aunt Zoe." Tristen said, still confused. She didn't really care where they went as long as Zoe was there. "I don't care where we go if you're there." Truth be told, she would rather go home most of all but was to confused and frustrated to think about it. Wherever they went, Tristen was going to lie down somewhere and it was obvious that as soon as her head hit the pillow, she would fall asleep.

Kendra finally stood, and walked to the railing, wrapping her hands around the steel bars. She was still crying, she wasn't going to get over all of this so easily. She was doomed in the pits of love forever and an eternity.

Image

Her choices were either:

Number 1:
A businessman. He is the father of her only child. Also, he seems to think Kendra and Tristen do not exist, and is currently engaged to be married. Did she mention that he is also a total ass?

Number 2:
A perfect guy. He is now currently making out with a girl she now hated. No, not hate... just... STRONGLY DISLIKE. He helped her for the whole year she's been here now, and she knew they developed feelings for one another. SHE KNEW. KENDRA WANTED HIM.

But, now.. she's swigging from a Jack Daniel's bottle, that seemed to appear in thin air, telling herself, "Maybe it's for the best...".

She patted her chest, right above where her heart was supposed to be. Now, she was pretty certain that there was only a small part left.... the part that loved her only child, Tristen. If that was even still beating...

Image

Kendra sighed, and buried her head in her hands, wiping away her tears, only to have them be replaced just as quickly.

At first she just stood and watched her mother. She was pretending that nothing was wrong but it was obvious even for a seven year old to see. "I thought you left for good!" She cried and rished towards her mother, jumping up on the bed and wrapping her in a tight embrace. The tears started running down her cheeks again. Her mother smelled funny as if she had been drinking something strange and sat near a fire. "Where did you go, mommy?" She asked through her crying.

There were so many questions in her head that she wanted to ask, but one was burning much more than the others. Tristen got her breathing under control and rested her head on Kendra's shoulder, sighing heavily. "Aunt Zoe told me about who that man was, mom." She said, saddened by the thought of that man being Tyler, her father.

For the second time in her life, Kendra is left as the heart-broken, confused, enraged, scared, and abandoned one in the fight. She hated it. Last time, was definitely easier, even if she was pregnant and still a teenager. At least he left, and she had no idea he was engaged to be married. Now, she knows exactly where he is, where he works, his daily schedule... She knows EVERYTHING about Kyle. That's what almost a year of friendship gives you.

Image

And she hated that. Why did she have to develop feelings? She knew Summer liked him, why did she just shrug her off? Why didn't she tell her back the fuck up?

Image

Being the person Kendra is though, she'll still smile to them. She'll still have the feelings, just buried so deep down inside of her, that it'll seem she only truly loves her daughter, and sister.

"I'll always be there.... for love and for fear.... just wipe... away... those tears..."

Kendra sobbed, over and over, getting everything out of her system then. She was never going to touch alcohol or cigarettes again as long as she lived. Kendra buried her face in her hands, the tears just streaming. She couldn't stop them. Her knuckles on her left hand throbbed from punching Summer's cement hard head. There was even a little blood in-between each knuckle. She kept that hand clenched into a fist, and hid under her stomach

Kendra vowed in that moment. She vowed on her life, that she wasn't going to show feelings for any man again. She was a perfect parent, and Tristen loved her the way she was. They didn't need a man. Kendra had a job. She had to go back the next day in fact. She couldn't wait to start her new leaf on life.

A leaf of no emotions.

Kendra was giving up on them. Her and Tristen had made it this far without them. They sure didn't need any extra emotional turmoil.

Maybe they'd even move again. Just to get away from everyone. Be safe, and sound in their own world.

(Sorry guys!)

What she wanted to happen....

Kendra's eyes grew at what was apparently happening. She never pulled the trigger... Maybe when Zoe kicked it, it shot? But, she couldn't concentrate on that. Her hole abdomen and head was throbbing with pain as Kyle tackled her. (Not waiting?) Her vision was blurred. "I... Just talk. I don't... I don't act." She said, contradicting whoever said she was suicidal. She felt awkward underneath Kyle like this, and took charge of the moment. Kendra lifted her leg up and kneed him in his crotch, then slapped him, throwing him off of her. She grabbed the gun in a swift move, and fought her way to the sleeping Tristen, and launched her on her right shoulder. "C'mon baby, Shh..." she then walked into the hall, and left pointing the gun. "Play your happy family. I'll be playing mine."

Image

Kendra left the apartment, a sleeping Tristen in her arms. Kendra didn't know who she was anymore. Kendra was afraid this second heartbreak had changed her for the worst. She knew one thing was for sure.

They needed to get away.

What actually happened....

Kendra felt helpless, and let the tears roll down her cheeks. She didn't know the gun went off, maybe it was when Zoe kicked it. She wasn't too sure. But she didn't concentrate on that for too long. When Kyle tackled her, she was taken by surprise, and the air was knocked out of her.

Yes, she had some alcohol in her system, but she was over being drunk, and more in the hangover stage. Added to her head ache, now everywhere. She looked up at Kyle, sadly. She swallowed hard, and just laid there.

Image

"Can I get up now? Can everyone just... Leave us alone? " Kendra paused. "I had feelings for you Kyle. I meant that kiss, I haven't kissed anyone since Tyler. I've meant everything we have ever done for each other, or with each other." Her eyes were teary. "But, you've made a choice. I will respect that choice now. I'm sorry for the havoc I've caused out of my heart broken anger. I am fine now."

Kendra smiled her best smile, and looked away.

HEY GUYS!

Seeing as this RP has gone way off it's tracks, and I am partially to blame, I apologize.

If all of you don't mind, and so you can know where exactly we are...

Can we all just back track back to where Kendra has known Kyle/Summer are now a couple? Like, the part where she is out on the balcony crying, and Kyle is kissing Summer?

Everyone, I APOLOGIZE. I know we've just kept on, but please, I am trying to fix it now. I am terribly sorry again.

In case you don't know where we are, here's Kendra's post right where we are:

"Kendra had just screwed up her relationship with Kyle, Summer's whole love life, and possibly Kyle's. She started to cry again, turned into the nothingness she wished she was. Tristen couldn't comfort her, Zoe would just go beat Kyle and Summer to a pulp, so she went down the hallway, and out onto the balcony that was connected to all the apartments on her floor. She stayed at the end she came in through, and looked down over the railing.

She sank down the wall, and buried her head. Kendra sucked at relationships, and it was starting to show, if it wasn't clear earlier, since the father of her child ran out on her. She cried to her heart's emotions, feeling like a tossed bone, that not even the stray dog that lived alone in the alley wanted.

She hadn't kissed anyone besides Tyler before, and she meant it when she kissed Kyle. She honestly did. Kendra liked him a lot, if not loved him. Tristen looked up to him as a father figure. He was perfect in her eyes, and Tristen's. Maybe one day, she'd have more kids, with a father around. But, then Tyler came to mind. She still loved him. She HAD to find out where he was honestly, before she could do anything.... with anyone. Kendra hoped that Tyler would come around soon. She needed to find him...

"Maybe it's for the best..." Kendra leaned her head back against the wall, and looked up into the starry night. She wished she could be a star.

Maybe it was for the best. Maybe they weren't meant to be.

AGAIN I APOLOGIZE, AND PERFECTLY UNDERSTAND IF YOU ARE MAD. WE HAD SOME GOOD STUFF GOIN' ON, BUT I THINK EVERYONE IS LOST.
