∞ Physical Description ∞ "I'm nothing special."
Ana wouldn't describe herself as anything special. All her features are typical of her Japanese heritage, so she more considers herself as normal. She's technically around the normal height for a girl her age, but she still wishes she could grow a few inches, which explains her love for high heels. Her frame has always been lean, with not much of a curve to her.

Ana's always had bangs cut just above her eyes since she was in elementary, though her hair has grown longer than when she was a kid. Her grey eyes once had a tint of blue, but for some reason the blue had faded away, leaving her with her plain grey eyes.

Because of her rather plain features, she began to feel the need to wear more girly clothing in middle school. Her need to feel girly stuck with her, her wardrobe mainly consisting of pink and frilly dresses. She doesn't usually like to wear makeup, mainly because she never learned to put it on.

❝Love has to be real... right?❞

∞ Personality ∞ "I'm not sure there's much more to me."
Anaya hasn't done much of anything so far in her young life. She's had plenty of dreams, well, really only one dream. She always imagined that one day she'd meet her soulmate and they'd live happily ever after together. Really she hasn't thought about it past that though. Ana is a romantic if there ever was one. She loves to fantasize about one day meeting that perfect boy for her, but she really does a lot more fantasizing than actual searching.

Ana has always been a content girl, even if she doesn't seem happy, she tends to put on a smile as if nothings wrong, and tries not to cry in front of anyone. She always thought that was the proper way to act, she didn't need to push her problems on others. That would only be selfish. She's seemed to always keep her nose in her books, mostly amazing stories of people who's traveled the world, been apart of gangs, or found an amazing romance. Ana lived her live through these stories, finding it more satisfying than actually going out to live it herself. She could never get past the ever looming fear of things not going right. She knew first hand that people could be cruel if they really wanted to be.

Being that she has no experience in life, most the things she does are for the first time. She hasn't ever really been with anyone so most romantic advances towards her just make her flustered. It's one of the reasons she doesn't like actually going out with people, she gets embarrassed when she gets flustered for almost no reason. Anaya tends to mess most things up whenever she tries to make it right, which is one of the reasons she loves her books so much, it always seems to work out in the end in those books, it was something she could be sure of, but she couldn't really be sure of how it would end in real life.

❝I don't have too many books, I don't have enough books!❞

∞ Family ∞ "I'm really happy to have them."
Alma Boezi || Mother || 49|| Professional Chef
Katrina Boezi || Sister ||24|| Lawyer

∞ History ∞ "Ah, my story... not my favorite."
Anaya's parents had met while the two where studying abroad in India. They had fallen in love with each other and planned to spend the rest of their life together. That was until they found that her mother was pregnant. Both parents came from influential families, in which a teenage pregnancy would cause scandal. The two did the only thing they could think to do, abandoning their child at the steps of someone's home. Luckily for Ana it was a very good home.

Alma Boezi was a widow, unable to bare any children to her husband of twenty years. She took Ana as a blessing, raising the girl as her own. Alma read her new daughter many books, teaching the girl as many languages as she knew. Since Anaya was little she was listening to stories about any subject and she loved it. Alma did everything she could to shield Ana of judgment of people, seeing as it was obvious that they weren't related. Adults would whisper about her behind her back and kids would tease her for looking different from them and Ana saw it too, how plain and boring she looked next to the vibrant Indian children. Ana loathed being viewed as plain, seeing as she felt it has such a negative connotation. That as when Katrina, a foster girl older than Ana, was taken in by Alma as well. Katrina seemed to take pity on Ana, showing her how to dress up, and therefore not be as plain. Her 'sister' taught her everything, from what dress to wear to how to walk in heels. Except for makeup, Alma had always been strict about her no makeup policy, claiming that she thought her daughters were beautiful enough as is. Ana always felt indebted to Katrina for that.

Ana felt a little better about herself after that, even a little more confident, though really not enough to make a difference in her social life. She was already too involved in her stories. She had read almost all the books in the library and had a large collection herself, the majority of the space in her room dedicated to stacks of books. Soon she was writing her own stories. She found her first passion in writing, able to become anything through it. But she's yet to let anyone read her writing, afraid of being made fun of. So most of her young life has been spent in her room, reading, trying on new outfits, and writing about thing that might never happen for her.

She'd gotten used to her average life in India, living with her 'Mom and sister', maybe they weren't blood but they loved each other and Ana liked that. Her parents had recently come into contact with her, wanting to meet the child they gave up so many years ago. After some convincing from Alma, she agreed to meet with them in their home in Japan. When she first saw them she immediately recognized the similarities between them, able to piece together what she had inherited from the two, her mothers hair and nose, her fathers eyes and chin. She stayed with her parents and her new found siblings for a few days, bonding with her biological family. Her parents wanted her to come back to them, be their daughter again and move with them to Japan. Anaya couldn't just abandon the family she grew up with so she declined. They accepted that, but offered to pay for any expenses she might have, if only to be apart of her life in some way. Leading her to be able to attend Curious Academy, a nice school she'd only really heard rumors about.
