Personality:
{Sarcastic, Playful, Outgoing, Pleasing}
When people first see Genesis, they see her bright smile. Her friendly demeanor is what most people notice about her. The brunette tries to be warm hearted and caring towards people. The last thing she wants to do is scare anyone away. She is very charismatic. Her charm tends to draw people in. The way she converses usually gets people to stay. She is a very sociable human being. She enjoys being surrounded by people and talking with them. Her external smile makes up for her internal frown. Genesis always feels lonely even when she isn't. She has the idea in her head that no one actually cares about her and that they are bound to leave. Because of this, she started Escorting. It gives her the opportunity to be wanted by someone if even for a couple of hours.

As people get to know Ms. Carter, they realize that her native tongue is sarcasm. She likes to make snarky and teasing comments. It makes her and everyone around her laugh. Of course she tries not to hurt feelings, but sometimes it is inevitable. It is used more around people that bring up her past. It is a way to curb the conversation away from her. With people she doesn't like nor care about, her sarcasm is used as a weapon. Genesis has pushed people away with her sarcasm. It is rather crude and demeaning. It is used to harm and keep herself safe. It is not used as often, but when it is, it is a scary sight.

Finally Genesis likes to please. The way she pleases varies from person to person. When it comes to friends, she usually tends to their needs. She often puts their needs above her own. When it comes to lovers, she is at their beck and call. Whenever they need her for anything, she will be there. Genesis has gotten in trouble with friends because of how quick she is to drop everything and go to them. With escorts she does whatever they want to make them happy. Most of the time it is to have a woman they can wine and dine. And other times it goes much farther than that. Pleasing people is her way of filling the emptiness.
γ€€γ€€γ€€
Hobbies:
Singing in private - It is a way to destress and pass the time.
Escorting - It has become a past time more than a job, but it does pay well.
Shopping - She mostly does it to get different clothes for when she has to 'work' and she likes expanding her wardrobe. γ€€γ€€γ€€γ€€γ€€γ€€
Habits:
Drinking at least one glass of wine a day. Sometimes she has way more.
Playing with the tips of her hair is kind of a nervous or seductive habit.
Saying everything is alright when it isn't. She has become skilled at hiding her loneliness.
Likes/Loves:
  • Escorting
  • Alcohol - specifically wine
  • Being surrounded by friends
  • Feeling wanted by anyone
  • Shopping
  • Her waitressing job
  • The idea of falling in love

History:
Genesis Renee Carter. Named after her great grandmother on her father's side. Her name means the start or beginning of something. This child was supposed to be the start of a better life for Mr and Mrs. Carter. Instead it just brought hard times. It brought sadness. It brought trouble for the young Miss Carter. Her parents were both alcohol addicts. Every now and then they would dabble in one of the illicit drugs. Through all their intoxication, the couple married and decided to have a baby. In their rundown apartment was where the baby came into the world. It is where she realized that the world is truly cruel and heartless. Her mother had died at childbirth, leaving Genesis with her father.

Her father has secretly been blaming young Genesis for the death of her own mother. Secretly wishing that his daughter was not born so that he could be reunited with his beloved. The brunette never heard any of this. Her father never came up to her and said that their horrible lives were all her fault. Instead he was never around. Genesis had to raise herself. Every now and then her father would appear to make sure that his daughter was not dead and child protective services was not looking for him, but other than that he would stay in his room. He would drink from the early hours of the morning until late hours of the day. Genesis does not know anything about her father and often pretends that she doesn't have one. In her eyes she was abandoned and alone.

When she turned 18, she called the police to have an ambulance come pick up her father. Several empty vodka bottles surrounded the bed. Her father was on top of the bed, not moving. Genesis had checked for a pulse, but could not find one. The police came and collected her father. They asked her questions, but she could not answer them. She was not there when he overdosed and she did not care enough about him to attempt to fill in the blanks. Genesis was not sad. She was lonely. Internally and forever lonely. At least her father was in the apartment even when he was not seen. But now she had no one. The void in her heart only grew as she desperately wanted to fill it.

At the age of 19, she found out about escorting. It was a formal version of prostitution. She did not have to stand on the corner and wait for some disgusting creep to want her. Wealthy, older men would call her and ask for her time. Her pay was dependent on what the two them did and how far they went. Genesis has been paid simply for going on dates with the men. Once she made enough money, she left her hometown. Finding an apartment, Genesis managed to get work as a waitress. She kept up her escorting. It was what paid the bills. No one knows that she escorts and she always uses a fake name with the men. With this she tries to fill the void, but it is still prevalent.

Since his time in the City of Angels, Los Angeles, he had been working local modeling gigs along with some acting gigs, too. There was a little time for some fun in his life but now that it was the weekend, Ashton knew that he needed to add a little fun to his life. Being a somewhat popular name around Los Angeles meant something to some people and it did to Ashton. He couldn't go down the street without someone recognizing him from a billboard that was posted up around the area or just his face and aura alone would attract guys and girls. Ashton was planning on throwing one of the biggest parties for the tenants of Evergreen Heights and whoever else decided to show their faces at The Loft Club tonight.

After a day on the phone and spending his day at the club, making sure everything was ready for the party, he went back to his apartment to get ready. The previous week, Ashton had placed invitations in everyone's mailbox that lived within the confides of the area so they had plenty of time to set their schedule and prepare themselves - Like buy another extravagant outfit or whatever. He showered, lathing his body with his new Axe body wash, Kilo then stepped out of the shower and paraded around the apartment for a bit in a towel before deciding on an outfit.

Since he was going to be sort of shirtless tonight, since the party was a black light party, he just decided to wear a pair of his Cargo shorts, Khaki in color and a pair of Polo Sperry's, which were light brown. Adorning his upper body was nothing more than a t-shirt that read M O D E L in big, bold lettering then reviewed himself over in the mirror before going back to the bathroom to brush his teeth and apply a small dose of cologne to his wrists and neck.

Another long look over in the mirror, Ashton was ready and he walked into roommate's room, without knocking. "Hey, I'm heading out to the party. Need a ride?" He'd ask him while pulling out his phone and sending out a few texts to people that he was close to.

To: Gennie
R u having a fashion emergency and need assistance? LOL. C u @ da party, yeah?

After sending out the messages and hearing roommate's reply, Ashton went out to the parking lot and waited inside of his 2016 Xterra, which was navy blue in color. He'd wait there in case someone indeed needed a ride and turned on the radio while he waited.

Location: Evergreen Heights || Time: 6:50pm || Outfit: β™₯

It has been a while since Genesis has been invited to a party. She has been to many individual dates where there happened to be a party. Her focus was on one person so the party did not matter. But she hasn't attended a party, where she would be mingling. This was rather exciting. And she did not even need a new outfit. She had plenty of outfits to chose from. Her and Ashton had gone shopping a couple days ago. And since it was a black light party, there was no need to dress up like she does for her escort job. And this time she can use her actual name. Miss Carter was standing in front of her full length mirror with just her undergarments on. She was trying to get her hair and make up done. If she had the outfit on first then she would ruin it. She took a few steps back to make sure that each curl was perfectly curled. There was a buzzing sound coming from on top of the dresser. She reached for her phone and read the message from Ashton. He was the person who invited her to the party.Taking a break from curl patrol, she replied.

To: Ashton
Got the outfit right on the first try. And see you soon.

While she had her phone in her hand she decided to send out a couple more messages.

To: Parker
You better be dressed and ready to party?

To : Matthias
Matt! Do you want to be my designated driver for this party?

That was all the text messages she had time for. She still had to get the dress on and then double check to make sure that she was not a complete mess. Placing the phone back down, she took a step back up to the mirror and fixed up the curls in her hair. Once they were perfected, she unplugged the curling iron and finally went to put the shirt on. She was very careful to make sure not to get any makeup stains on it. Genesis tied the crochet strings around the back of her neck and then easily squeezed into the skinny jeans. Back in front of the mirror. She looked great. Next were the shoes. She stepped into them and then looked back over herself in the mirror. She was about three inches taller than normal. Slowly the outfit was coming together. Genesis started running around the room looking for accessories. She settled for stud earrings and a black clutch clutch. One last look in the mirror. "Perfect"

She left her room, with phone in hand. She checked her social media and kind of just stood in the common area. "Alanna! Are you ready?" Genesis and Athena were roommates and good friends. They had no problems with one another and often hang out. They were not extremely close, but they were definitely friends. "And do you DD?" she added, before finally moving to sit on the couch. Genesis needed a designated driver. She planned on drinking. But at the same time she did not expect to go back home with Alanna. She had asked Matthias, but he might not even want to attend the party.

Her and Alanna needed to leave soon if they wanted to be on time. The earlier they got there the more wine Genesis had access too. Just the thought of wine was making her wan to rush Alanna. But she was keeping herself together and being patient. Genesis took a selfie and decided to focus her time on what filter should be used on it for instagram.

Days off were weird. Half the time Matthias remained entirely unsure of what to do with himself during the hours he typically allotted for work, and just did what he would be doing anyway: cooking. He only worked six days a week, sure, so having at least one free day shouldn't have been any sort of shock to him, but the issue in this case was that this typically wasn't his day off. A friend and fellow chef had asked to swap shifts with him (something about a baby shower), so Matthias had done the only thing he could do, really, in that situation. Said, "Yeah, of course, man, I've got you covered. Have fun."

And the whole thing had been just slightly confusing. He was used to order, routine, and the minor disruption had been just a touch off-putting. It left him working a dinner shift on a day he usually worked a lunch shift and with a day off two days before the one he usually had. Which is why he found himself where he was then. In Parker's apartment, hogging the stove, where he went sometimes since she always insisted on being a taste-tester. He was deeply involved in his work, beads of sweat lining his forehead, brow furrowed; he hardly noticed when Parker moved to observe over his shoulder.

"That smells really good," she said, frowning a little. "Can't I just have some now?" Her wrist never stopped its motion, continually whisking the cream in the bowl she had tucked into the crook of her elbow. He was always a little impressed with patissieres for that. His arm started to ache a little sometimes from whipping egg yolks for five minutes, but he'd seen her go for longer than fifteen. She'd told him, earlier, that she was working on a flavor variation of a mille feuille, and the red-tinted cream he saw in the bowl had him a little curious.

"No, listen", he said, gaze turning quickly back to focus on the saute pan, "this is only the first step. After you saute the sweet Maui onions with--" A ringtone interrupted his sentence, and Parker glanced back at the kitchen island where she'd left her phone. He didn't see her check it, but he did hear a worried "oh."

He was seconds away from asking if there was a problem when his own phone gave a series of short vibrations. He pulled it from his back pocket and frowned at the message he saw on the screen. Right. The party. He hadn't planned on being free tonight, so he hadn't given it much thought, but now attending was in fact a possibility. He glanced down at the simmering mass on the pan, which were done already anyway, and contemplated which was a better course of action for the night. On one hand, he didn't like being in crowded places, but on the other, he wouldn't want to leave a friend to the wolves. No doubt Genesis would be far better off if he was there to make sure everything was okay. Parker too, if she was going. Given her tendency to lose track of time and events, he was sure she'd probably forgotten rather than made the intentional decision to spend her night baking instead, but it was worth the ask. Shutting off the flame, he turned back to her. "That party's tonight, are you going to--" But she was already hastily covering her bowl of cream with plastic wrap. Well. That answered that. He shot off a quick text to Genesis.

                        xxxxxxxxxxx; GENESIS
xxxSURE. HAVE TO BORROW YOUR CAR THOUGH

Motorcycles were not great for carting drunk people, he'd learned. Even less so if he'd be taking back more than one person.

                        xx━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Parker forgot things. She forgot a lot of things. It was just a fact of life. Still, she wished she didn't forget things as much as she tended to do so. Example: the party she absolutely one hundred percent knew about, but had still somehow managed to forget.

She quickly covered the cream she had been whipping and put it in the fridge before hurrying to text Genesis.

                        xxxxxxxxxxx; GEN!✭
xxxEEK!! :OO EMERGENCY!!!! I TOTALLY FORGOT SAVE ME!! WHAT DO I WEAR?! :((

She glanced over to Matthias, who was already shaking out the contents of his pan into a tupperware container, and felt a flash of guilt. She wasn't about to kick him out just because she'd forgotten about a party. How selfish would that be? "You can stay here!" she said, hastily. "I know you don't like parties, but just make sure to lock the door when you leave."

He laughed, a short chuckle. "It's fine, I'm going. Someone's got to keep an eye on you," he said, and she punched him lightly in the arm. "I told Gen I'd drive you guys anyway."

"Great!" she said, largely relieved of her guilt. "Are you going to change then?" He looked down at his clothes, black t-shirt and jeans, and arched a brow at her. She sighed.

"Fine, but I do have to change." She spared a quick glance down at her cream splatted apron and frowned. "Wait in the living room? TV's already set to the Food Channel."

He snorted as she grinned; it was an ongoing joke that Matthias never watched anything on TV but the Food Channel, which was a lie, of course. Even if most of what he watched was, in fact, the Food Channel.

He shooed her away, and Parker hurried to her bedroom to throw open her closet doors, eyes scanning over the line of clothes as she debated what would look good for the night.

CARMEN WASHINGTON
hex code: #8AA37B

Carmen finished applying her lipstick and smiled at herself in the bathroom mirror. That was the last piece of her makeup, and now her look was complete. She'd been to countless parties in her life, but each one still got her excited like it was her first. She loved everything about clubs: the socialization, the drugs, the music, the dancing, the happy feeling. She bounced on her toes a little bit as the excitement settled in, and then she grabbed her phone off of her bedside table and put in her earbuds. She put The Black Album by Jay-Z on shuffle since it, and rap in general, always helped to boost her already high spirits. She padded out of her room on bare feet and into the front foyer. It took her a while to decide on a pair of heels, but she eventually picked a nude pair, her favorites, and slipped them on. They made her ass look great, and they were the first pair she'd ever owned. She pulled out her phone to check her dark eye makeup one last time before slipping it back into her purse.

Carmen left her apartment and almost closed the door behind her. On last thought, she poked her head back into the room and yelled "I'm going to Ashton's party!", hoping that her roommate heard. She closed the door and started to walk down the stairs. Just in case he didn't hear, she pulled her phone out of her purse and shot Tom a text on her way outside.

To: Tom
going to ashton's party!!! couldn't find you, you gonna come too?

Carmen was planning to walk to the bus station and take it to the club, but even after descending the stairs, her heels were beginning to rub her toes raw and it was chillier outside than she'd anticipated. Not that it was cold by any definition of the word, it never was in Los Angeles, but her dress wasn't exactly conservative. It was a low-cut, strapless red dress, long enough to cover her ass but tight enough not to leave anything to the imagination. There was enough room to dance comfortably in, but walking for a long time would just be uncomfortable. She began to dread the walk.

Carmen spotted Ashton in the parking lot and thought that hitching a ride with him would make a perfect plan B. They weren't friends, but they did wave at each other whenever they passed, and Ashton was something of a local celebrity. He would be impossible not to recognize. Carmen didn't have anything against him and was never one to not talk to someone in fear of an awkward situation. She sauntered over to his car and knocked on the window, which was rolled down a little bit.

"Nice music," she said, a little loudly so that she could be heard over the pumping bass. "Hey, this is a little weird, but could you drive me to the club? I totally want to go to your party, but my shoes are a fuckin' pain." She shrugged in a 'what-can-you-do' way and smiled a little bit at him, leaning against the car. She really hoped that he would say yes based on the truth, because a whole host of lies were bubbling up at her tongue, just waiting to be released. And she knew that they would surface if it meant that she didn't have to walk to the bus.

Genesis finally figured out what which filter accented her features quite nicely. With the picture posted on instagram, she started scrolling through her feed. She has managed to keep all her social media private from her escorts. It was safer than allowing them all to follow her. She was already in danger just being with them. They don't need them being able to stalk her. Genesis doubled tapped her screen, liking a friends photo when two messages popped up onto her screen. One from Matthias and one from Parker.

Matthias was completely on board with being the designated driver, which meant Genesis could get drunk. Maybe after the party, Matthias would make her a meal. Just the thought of that excited her. She loved his cooking. She decided to send him a quick message.

;Matthias
Of course! I will gladly bring the keys right over.

Checking the other message, it seems like she will be dropping her car keys off for him after she deals with Parker.

;Parker
On my way! Don't freak out!!

Genesis stood up and collected all of her stuff. "Alanna I have to go! See you at the party." She skipped out the front door, locking it behind her, and skipped down the hall to Parker's apartment. She knocked and then let herself in. "The fashionista is here to s-!" She cut short, when she saw Matthias in the kitchen. "Matty!"

She said skipping into the kitchen. Genesis spared him the hug. The scent of food hit her nostrils. "Were you cooking?! And I missed it!" She complained. Running her fingers through her hair, she completely disregarded the fact that she was not invited for food. But she will deal with it later. Right now she had a fashion emergency. Genesis pulled the car keys out of her clutch and placed it on the counter. "Now to help Parker." Genesis turned and skipped off towards Parker's bedroom. She knocked and then just let herself in. "Alright. What's the problem?"
