It's strange for an orphan to be optimistic when they have no idea who their parents are, but Lucas Kimber is different. Even when he was younger, all he looked for was ways to make the day better. He realized at a young age that if his parents wanted him, he would still be in their lives, but he wasn't. Lucas decided not to let that get to him because he will be better off. He grew up around others in the orphanage although occasionally a few would leave after being adopted, but never Lucas. He always attended the orphanage school, always making sure he did his homework. Most of all, he enjoyed writing.
Lucas was a little comedian at a young age; being funny and clumsy was a good mix. His jokes caused the other children to laugh, but when he would trip over his own feet or accidentally break objects, the children would be in hysterics.
He spent his childhood waiting for the day he would meet his soul mate. Lucas is a hopeless romantic who wants the time to come where he will finally meet his other half. Hopefully the timer will end up on zero soon.

History:
Lucas William Kimber grew up never knowing who his parents were. He spent his childhood in an orphanage home, located in a little town in England, with friends who left occasionally who he never saw again. Lucas attended the orphanage school were he excelled at English and Literature. He enjoyed writing and always wrote little novels in his notepad that had been a birthday present. Despite having no parents, barely any friends and a room he always had to share, Lucas was very optimistic. He was always trying to make the best out of every situation.
At the age of eighteen he was given a little amount of money so he could figure out his life path. Lucas traveled to California where he moved to the little town of St Helena. He was able to find a little one-room house which started out with only a kitchen and a mattress. Lucas spent his time working at a little cafe for money, so he was able to buy himself a laptop and pay for his bills. Soon enough he was able to afford his first laptop and wrote his first novel that focused on finding a soul mate. His novel became fairly popular and he has been earning a reasonable amount of money.
Now Lucas is spending his time writing novels in his home and at times he goes and works part time in the little cafe. He is counting down the time to find his soul mate so he doesn't have to feel alone. Although he has made a couple friends from the cafe, he still feels lonely.
