A man without purpose picks up his blade and begins anew, attempting to redeem what was his previous life.
Tending to keep to himself amongst large crowds out of fear of being too well known, Toru appears as being a relatively friendly individual with enough interest in the world around him to keep himself both stimulated and happy. Among smaller groups of people, Toru enjoys learning about everyone's different lives and experiences, yet he almost always diverts all conversations into the field of battle and combat skills. He himself loves a good fight and will often challenge people to duels in the hopes of besting them in a grand battle. On occasion, Toru has challenged people to battles where the loser would end up dead, but decided to put that behind him as it attracted unwanted attention and ruined his fun. Toru takes pride in his skills and is not afraid to take arms and fight those that challenge him.
Battle Style: Tends to stand still in the beginning, merely counter-attacking whatever assaults are tossed his way before launching a flurry of strikes executed in rapid succession of one another.
A slender sword with a serrated blade and a golden handle. Referred to as "The Omega Keeper".
Black chest plate and charred gauntlets stolen from a defeated opponent.
A jade necklace containing a purely energy based soul.
Powers: The ability to triple his movement speed at the expense of some of his energy, the ability to create a temporary barrier that blocks magic but reduces his physical strength, and the power of his necklace, which allows him to use his powers without their consequences. The necklace has very limited uses though and cannot be replenished.
A journal containing his different experiences in both written and drawn form.
After an incident involving a bandit attack, Toru suffered minor amnesia and lost any at all memories associated with his home or family. The earliest memory he has is of a bandit slaughter brought upon by his own blade. Following this, Toru had little idea of his place in the world, so he decided to explore it until he found his role in life. Throughout his travels, Toru has slain various people that stood in his path, met varieties of people that were never kept to close to his heart, and refined his battle technique by engaging in random duels with strangers.
