Jaxon woke up immediately at the sound of objects whizzing through the air. Starting the fun without me are they he thought wrenching himself from bed. He was brushing some of the hair from his face when he listened to the sound closer to the noise. The screams he heard were not of laughter but fear followed by the thump of things hitting the ground. He began to think of colorful reasons on why his friends would be falling ungracefully to the ground but only one actually made sense. dang it the eraser's are back he thought walking sluggishly over to the window. The heavy thump of something embedding itself in the window beside him caused him to push backward. "Note to self stay away from the windows." he mumbled before quickly plucking at the thing that hit the window. It took him two tries but eventually he was able to hold the dart in his hand. He could tell it was elephant tranquilizer from the smell of heavy sedative coming from it. He wrapped a tissue over it's point and stuffed it in his pocket. He hated needles but it could come in handy later.
He gathered what he could from what he heard and tiptoed his way down the hall. He had only heard Parker and Angel scream so that meant Lissa and Noctis were okay. His assumptions were correct as once in the backyard he could hear them flying far above him. He stretched his wings and arms as he waited to be sure that the erasers were gone before flying up to meet them. He didn't have as much stealth as they did with his bright multi-colored wings but he made it up to them unharmed. It senses were blurred because of how high they were so he wasn't completely sure to where he was speaking when he said "what did I miss?" with a yawn.

"Good to see you alive and still here. Parker and Angel have been kidnapped. We need to go save them." Noctis said bluntly to Jaxon. He held Lisaa up in his arms and looked off in the direction they took Angel and Parker. He needed to think... would they really take them back? Noctis hoped not.

"What do you mean, kidnapped?"

Elima stood in the doorway, leaning against its wooden frame. Kidnapped? She thought, They still remember us? Anxiety began to encircle her body. Angel, Parker... Elima shook within herself, thinking about the experiments that would be performed on them. The experiments that were performed on her.

"We have to go get them!" A lump began to rise in El's throat when her voice became arid. An image drifted across her mind of the two kids holding each other while the whitecoats approached them. Shutting her eyes, El took in a deep breath. She thought of possible things they could do to help them escape, she wouldn't let them get hurt, she loved them too much. Opening her eyes now, Elima looked at Jaxon for any recognition of a plan. He looked as worried as she was when she turned to meet Lissa.

"I can go alone." Elima gulped, "They can't detect my microchip." Her hand met her arm where the injection was made. "Lissa, take Noctis and Jaxon away from home. The erasers know where we are now." She knew they wouldn't let her go alone, but she also knew it was a smart idea. "I can do this."

She would do anything for the flock.

Elima sighed. "Fine, tell me when you come up with a plan." She turned, arms crossed, and walked along the narrow hallway. She marked her comment as a rude one, for she knew she always spoke her mind, but it was the truth. She needed to go alone; she couldn't risk anyone's safety, not now, not ever. An aching pain began to encircle her heart when she thought of Angel and Parker in an eraser's clutches. Her eyebrows furrowed to signal anxiety when she rested her hand upon the window's glass in front of her. She looked out, watching the air pass by. They need me. Elima turned her gaze to the den, overhearing the voices of arguing over a plan. Shit, I'm so stupid. Biting her lip, Elima silently lifted the glass of the window upward. Entering her room, she snuck a few crackers and a small piece of paper. She place the paper on the frame of the window as it read, "Going out for a little fly, don't worry about me!" Taking the crackers, she placed a few in her pocket and crouched beneath the window. Stepping onto the roof, her wings spurted out when she jumped into the air above. She breathed in the crisp air as her blond hair whipped across her eyelashes. The wind circled around her as she began to soar above the house. Don't worry, she thought, I'm coming.

She was the only one who could risk the chance of going.
