Setting
On the opposite wall of the fireplace is a wooden dresser, made of a different wood and much more elaborate carvings than the other furniture. It looks like it might have been brought in from somewhere else. However, it doesn't seem to be holding up as well as the other furniture. The finish is peeling off and completely gone in some places, and looks like it had some water damage in the past. Next to the dresser in the corner stands an iron ladder, embedded in the floor and bolted to the ceiling. There is a man sized hole in the top, allowing access to the small second story.
The upstairs furniture once consisted of a nightstand, a bed, and a chiffarobe. It could be described as bare bones. Nowadays however, it is a little more cramped. Along the left wall is four hammocks, laid out in a square shape up against the wall. The wall on the right still houses the bed, but also sports some hammocks stringed up across the top of it. The chiffarobe has been moved to be closer to the center of the room, and the doors taken off. Various little drawings of local wildlife and self portraits adorn the tired looking piece of furniture. Sitting on the shelf inside of the chiffarobe is the Earthsinger.
It sits on a rabbit fur, and is flanked on either side by carefully hung bobcat skulls. A series of red circles, one inside of the other have been painted on the backdrop of the Earthsinger, giving it the look of a religious shrine.
