Kim Sun-Jin

Her heels clacked on the concrete as she walked down her street, camera in hand. This was the night she was going to prove her worth to Conner and show him she wasn't just a posh rich kid that didn't care for anyone. She was going to snap some pictures of 'Slendy' as she called him, give them to him, and let him put them on his Slenderblog.

She put her camera in her handbag and walked to the fair. The forest was nearby, and it would soon be her chance to snap a few pictures.

Kim sat down on a bench in the fair, looking for a ride that was near the forest. From her angle, none. A male sat next to her.

"Hey there, slanted eyes." The male laughed, nudging Kim. She narrowed her eyes, making it look like they were slanted.
"I'll have you know that I am Korean, and we do not have as much slanted eyes as the Japanese or the Chinese!" She shouted, stomping on his toes and walking off. She moved towards the forest, and was surprised to see a woman taking pictures. Is she here to do the same? She thought, moving forwards.

"Hey, you. Why are you taking pictures?" She called, her voice loud to even herself.

Anna noticed some girl approach her. "Oh, I'm taking pictures for the local newspaper." She lied with a smile. Where did that come from? She thought to herself and then blinked herself back into reality. "Sorry what?" She thought the girl might have said something while she had drifted away trying to find an answer.

(Sorry for taking a while to reply >.< Been busy but I should be alright now :3 So Kim is Korean is she. I demand her to do Gangnam style right now!)

Ray Silverwood.

"My mum used to take me, when I was a kid and now that she's dead I wanted to go in her memory."

Crap...

Ray lowered his head apologetically, causing his dark raven hair to fall over his eyes. "I am sorry, I don’t have the best sort of since of humour..." He whispered. Yeah, well clearly he was no longer in her good books, which was a shame indeed but something he could deal with and was used to. He would just have to keep his lips zipped from then on.

The youth nodded a greeting at the male supposable named Arthur with the hunting dog. This guy seemed far too happy then what was healthy, but didn’t mean Ray trouble so he seemed like a decent enough ally. "I was not particularly planning on heading to a silly kids fair but I have nothing better to do, and you seem like decent people who may be able to tolerate me for a short amount of time so sure..." He said, shooting a quiet smile at the pair ahead of him.

***At the fair***

Ray watched Anna with careful eyes. There was something odd about her, the determination in her eyes was rather frightening. Why was she taking pictures? It was weird...but he decided not to ask questions in case her disliking of him grew even more. However, he slowly walked towards her, watching her and her father talk. He seemed like a stern but pleasant man with allot of power. Ray recalled Anna warning him about her Dad catching him hunting. What authority did he have here!?

"Alright, but none of that Slenderman crap."

What!? Ray froze. He didn’t understand. Did she know of Slenderman? This was something he had to question. He had to know if she could sort out his nightmares. That horrid pale empty face flickered back into his mind, forcing him to rub his forehead which now had throbbing pain pulsing through it. As her Father left, Ray continued towards Anna, a distressed expression on his handsome face.

Just before Ray reached her side, Anna was confronted by another young woman. The youths vision blurred slightly around him; his face changing deathly pale. Though he had reached the two girls sides, he remained silent, trying to push this cold sickening feeling from his body.

Anna smiled to Ray when he approached, "That was my dad, he's the local sheriff." She told him with a smile. She noticed his skin paling, "Hey are you okay? You look a little pale." She said, putting her hand on his arm and ducking down a bit to look at his face. "Maybe we should sit down." She walked over to a bench, motioning for the Korean girl to come over. She was curious about both of them, why was she confronting her about taking pictures and why had he turned so pale and distressed all of a sudden. "Have I done something wrong?" She asked, her eyes darting back and forth between the 2.

She looked over her shoulder just to check her dad wasn't watching her or within hearing distance before turning around to whisper to the 2. "Do you know about Slenderman?" She furrowed her brows. "Do you want me to stop looking for him?"

Arthur Evergreene

At the fair, most of the world was festive. Kids were enjoying themselves on all the rides. Younger teens were daring each other to try the scariest rides. Older teens were into more of the romantic stuff like the ferris wheel and playing the carnival games together, trying to win prizes for the other. It was a great atmosphere. Arthur tried to enjoy the atmosphere, but Slender was back in his mind again. The conversation had kept his mind off of him for quite a bit, but now it was getting worse. It wouldn't be long before he started losing his memory and drawing random circles with Xs through them on some random post. He tried to focus on Ray and Anna. But in a heartbeat, he had lost them. Dammit, he muttered in his head. He hoped that he would run into them again. They seemed like great people...well Anna anyways. Ray was kind of a mystery to him, so he didn't have an opinion on him yet.

His thoughts were interupted as he nearly walked smack into a wall. As he examined it, it belonged to a haunted house. He also noticed a woman walking out, a bow and arrow strapped on her back. That wasn't a comforting sight. he thought, Why would she need a bow and arrow at a carnival?

Despite his burning curiosity, he chose to ignore her and walk away. Score one for brains, he thought as he walked to the edge of the forest. There, he found Anna, Ray, and some other girl, sitting on a bench. Ray didn't look too well. He ran up to the girls and Ray. "Hey, guys, is everything okay?" he asked, concerned,"How's Ray? Did he go on the Star Cruiser 3000 ride?"

Drake Temple

He is running through the forest, the bag on his back dancing around as if trying to break free. Drake's foot hit a branch and he go tumbling down into the dirt. 'GET UP! GET UP YOU IDIOT!' he yelled at himself. Drake got to his feet and kept running. he could almost feel slender man's icy fingers reaching out to grab him. Suddenly the world brightens as he emerges from the forest and into what looks like a small town. without stopping he looks around and sees what looks like fair or a carnival or something. 'Thank god, people.' He takes a sharp turn to his right and runs along the tree line as fast as he could. he keeps running through the festival until finally he runs into a group of people, two guys and two girls, around his age. Like literally he hits one of the guys (Arthur) and takes the poor boy to the ground with him. He quickly gets to his feet and helps the guy up. "I am so sorry." Drake looks behind him, searching for a faceless man in a suit but cant find him. "Thank god, I lost him...for now."

Arthur Evergreene

Before anyone could reply, a sudden blow from behind startles Arthur. He is taken to the ground, face-first. Arthur coughs as the one who ran into him gets up and holds out his hand to help Arthur up. He pushes it away, climbing onto his feet. "I'm fine," he replies,"Thanks though," A small trickle of something starts to run from his nose. Arthur puts his finger up to just below his nose, then pulls back. A spot of blood remains on his finger. Just great, he thought, now I have a bloody nose.

"Excuse me," he mutters and begans to walk to a porta-potty. Spotting a blue one, he hops inside, grabbing some toilet paper and wiping the blood from his face. He turns...to find a shilouette of a tall man with extremely thin arms and legs appearing to peer inside on him. Slenderman...

With a scream, he leaps out of the porta-potty, now shivering with fear. Not looking back, he runs as fast as he can back to the group, nearly tackling a little boy in the process. "I'm sorry," he barely stammers as he runs back to the group, his face as white as a sheet. Panting hard, he turns around to find no one following him. He had a migraine and a sense of deja vu sweeped over him. Had he seen this guy (Drake) before? He sat down on the bench, too mentally scattered to deal with it right now.

Anna yelped as the boy ran into Arthur, she watched him leave, blood on his finger. "Are you okay?" She asked him, still watching Arthur as he made his way to the toilets. Suddenly, Arthur burst out from it and bumped into someone. "Okay, am I the only healthy one here?" She looked to the other girl. "Well, me and..." She stopped, hoping the girl would add her name.

Ray Silverwood
Anna’s words and face were blurred to Ray, but he managed to find her hazel eyes and lock with them. He took a few deep breaths in; senses sliding in and out of focus. "I...This just h..happens sometimes...allot l...lately" The youth stammered as he began to growl slightly in a weak attempt to clear a tickle in the back of this throat. He looked through this blurred world and found Arthur, who made a comment that even amused Ray in such a state. "How's Ray? Did he go on the Star Cruiser 3000 ride?"

"It sure feels like that..." The raven haired teen said which a smile. It seemed that Arthur had managed to pull him back to his self, which he was grateful for. "Thank you both for giving a s***, I'm alright now I think, and no Anna you have not done anything wrong what so ever. If anything you have done everything right so far..*

Suddenly a guy (Drake) crashed into Arthur, slamming him to the ground and giving him a crimson nose. The brunette male dashed off to the toilet to grab some tissue but returned in no time. "Man are you alright? Quite a hit you took there..." Ray noted how distressed he was. Face just as awful coloured as Rays was a few minutes ago. Was it just from the shock of the fall? Or something more...?

Ray noticed Anna asking the Korean girl what her name was, he nodded in approval to her actions. "Yeah, what’s your name? And you Mr gunna run around smashing into randomers..." He rolled his eyes smugly at the stranger, but his "joke" was so pathetic he just looked like a idiot.

Ray felt like he was missing something that Anna had said to him. The tickle in the youths throat had grown to a roaring pain, he began to cough violently, sudden images flicking through his mind again. That pale empty face, long stretched arms, black suite. "I...I know...of Slender Anna...H..He’s not real!!"

As he said those very words a thick red liquid began to drip from his lips.

Anna noticed Ray coughing, the cough getting worse and worse, until he coughed up blood. "Oh my god." She gasped, looking around for him. She crouched down in front of him and looked up into his face. "Ray! Listen to me, forget what I said. We... we were talking about a... a..." She looked around and seen some girls drinking milkshakes. "I was talking about a weight loss milkshake, it's called ah Slender for the man..." She blinked and shook Ray. "IT WAS A MILKSHAKE!" She must have looked like an idiot, but before her mum went missing, she started with a horrible cough, then blood coughs and then her computer stopped working for her, but worked when Anna or her dad used it. "I think we should leave." She suggested to the entire group, even the ones she didn't know. She grabbed her camera and started taking pictures in a circle around them, Slenderman in the background of the ones Drake, Ray and Arthur all happened to be caught in. "Shit." She whispered to herself. "I don't care, we're leaving." She instructed.

Arthur Evergreene

Arthur could only hear static in his ears. His vision was swimming. He saw Ray coughing and found that he had a tickle in his throat. He started coughing as well, trying to force himself to think of something else. He saw the new person there and walked up to him. "Hi, m-my name's A-A-Arthurrr..." he stammered. He probably looked like a total idiot, but at this point, he didn't care. He was beginning to calm down, the static receding, his eyesight returning. Unfortunately, the first word he hears when the static dissapears is "Slender" from Anna. He covered his ears, a huge migraine was causing him to sink to his knees. Think of something else, he instructed in his head. He thought of Anna and their previous conversation. He thought of the bow and arrow girl. He thought of the two he hadn't met yet. His breathing became slower. The static n his ears dissapeared once more. He slowly got up from the ground. He turned to Anna, who was studying a photograph. "Why don't we go on one of the rides?" Arthur suggested, a faint smile appearing on his face. His face probably gained a little color with each word he spoke. He was returning to normal...

Drake Temple

"Yeah, what’s your name? And you Mr gunna run around smashing into randomers..." Ray had said. "Oh, my name is Drake." suddenly Arthur returned seemingly startled. From there everything went down hill. Ray started coughing up blood and the cute girl next to him and the Korean girl was telling everyone that they had to leave. 'Do they know? No its not possible. Think of the odds.' He grabs the camera from the girl's hand and sees the slender man in the photo with the three guys. "No, not again." He hands the camera back. "We have to run, now."

Anna yelped as Drake grabbed her camera. "NO!" She cried, snatching the camera back instead of letting him hand it back. "Run wear?" She asked, hoping he wouldn't suggest into the forest. "I mean, there is nowhere to run from him." She told him, her camera, now on video-recording, was still aimed at the 3 guys, she was watching Slender as he slowly approached the group. "On second thoughts, anywhere would be nice." She said, starting to walk rather quickly away.

Anna's smile dropped. "Ray, this isn't a joke." She told him, she looked behind her for a quicker way through the crowd. "We can go through the forest, my house is close, we can go there." Anna suggested, looking into the forest, a small girl was standing there. "Oh god." She breathed as she pushed her way through the crowd to get to her. "Hey you!" She called. "The forest isn't safe! Get out!" She cried, her eyes frantically scanning the immediate area. "Please, come with me." She stretched her hand out to the girl, she looked past her to see the faceless one, the tall one, Slenderman. "Oh god no!" She grabbed the girls wrist and ran back to the group. "He's after this girl to." She whispered and looked down to her. She felt her someone pull her back, pretty rough. "I thought I told you Anna!" Her dad yelled. "No dad, you don't understand please!" She cried, her eyes darting back and forth to the group. "Dad, he's here." She looked to the group, 3 of whom were coughing. "I showed you the blog. One of the things that means he's coming for you is coughing, badly and a bloody cough and then like my mum, they'll be gone." She felt a tear slide down her cheek. "It's not real!" He yelled back and grabbed her wrist. "We're going home." He tried to pull her away but she pulled back. "I'm doing this for her! I'm stopping him from getting anyone else! Unlike you, Sheriff." She told him and walked back to the group, not caring about her dad anymore. "Let's go, now."

Arthur Evergreene

Arthur had cleared his head and that thing was nearly completely out of his mind. His headache was still there, but he could be a lot worse. Opening his eyes, he joined the conversation once more.

"We can go through the forest, my house is close, we can go there." Anna suggested.

Arthur's expression turned into one of shock and puzzlement. She wanted to go into the den of the creature? Was she mad? He knew that the most probable way of dealing with Slender at this point was to join an area with MORE people, not less.

He was just about to protest Anna's decision making when he saw her run into the forest. It was then that he saw the little girl in the forest. Anna had grabbed her and was now bringing her back. He turned around and also noticed the Sheriff walking their way. Oh God, he thought, What did we do wrong? By the time Anna arrived to the group with the girl, the Sheriff had done so as well. The Sheriff grabbed Anna by the back of her shirt and began dragging her away. "Hey wait!" he cried out, but as he was beginning to walk to them, Slenderman showed his faceless head in the trees just outside of the clearing. A wave of nausea rushed through him and he crumpled to his knees again. He threw up the cotton candy he had got just a few minutes (Or was it hours?) ago. Raising his head, he saw Anna walking back to the group, the Sheriff's face turning as red as the ripest tomato.

"Let's go, now."

Regaining the power in his legs, he stood up, shaky. "Go where? In through the forest? Because that seems like the opposite way we should go..." Arthur cried.

Drake Temple

Drake listened to all of them, then watched Anna get the girl and fight with her dad. once she was back Arthur said "Go where? In through the forest? Because that seems like the opposite way we should go..." "Does it matter where we go? just run!" Drake started pushing the group to run. He started running as well and picked up the pace, running past all of them. He was scared out of his mind and Slender had messed with his head to much for him to want to spend any more time with him. He ran through the crowd and almost to the other side of the festival until he saw that faceless head poking out from behind a building near the fair in the direction he was running. He slid to a stop and fell backwards onto the grass, losing his footing. There was nowhere to run it seemed.

Ray Silverwood
Ray raised a eyebrow, though he did completely agree with Arthur it seemed like they had no choice. He met eyes with the brunette male and sighed whilst wiping the blood from his lips. "There's no escape anyway..." He sighed in a cold tone, glaring towards the forest.

The youth saw Anna return with a small blonde girl? Boy? He squinted his blue eyes, glaring at the child realizing she was most certainly a tomboy kind of female. She seemed young, but her appearance had a hint of maturity in her. Ray wondered if her tiny runt like body was giving off a false age. He dragged his pupils from the girl, giving a single cough before swallowing the blood in his throat. For some reason she made him incredibly uncomfortable and uneasy. Maybe he was just not good with kids and just found her well.... creepy...

Anna was suddenly grabbed by her Father, he watched wide eyed as he man handled her and shouted; tears began to slide from her hazel eyes. He snarled quietly, didn’t he see that he was hurting her both mentally and physically!? Did he even listen to a thing she said!? Now Ray himself was not completely sure whether he believed this whole ordeal or not but shouting in a broken girls face was not something that would make everything stable...

Arthur began to puke, the stench making Rays own stomach roll over. "Come on, lets just get moving...Take it steady...I'll keep towards the back..." He said giving the male ahead of him a gentle push forwards. The raven haired boy jogged behind the group, continuously glancing over his shoulder but finding no empty face behind him. He relaxed a little, when suddenly a thud caused him the skid to a stop. Ray found Drake at his ankles, coated in mud from the fall. He reached down, offering the dark haired youth a hand up. "We need to move, stop panicking god dammit..."

Suddenly, the sound of static filled Rays ears and a hard throbbing pounded on his forehead. Blood began to drip from his lips as his eyes widened to a inhuman size. "Drake...Move...I SAID MOVE..." Ray yelled loudly, dragging the male to his feet and pulling him along with him.

He glanced over his shoulder once again. This time that tall black suited man was less than few meters away...

Anna followed behind Ray. "It'd be best if someone he was chasing was behind?" She suggested, putting a hand on his shoulder to relax him. She walked right into him when he stopped to help Drake, she was to busy looking around for any sign of Slenderman. She looked over to Drake, "You okay?" But Ray started to panic and ordered everyone to run, Anna looked over her shoulder, this time she could see him. "Oh god." She whispered, fear had frozen her. She blinked and was free she ran a different way from the group, split from them she was heading for the forest alone. "Oh god, no no no." She panicked, her breathing picked up too. "Shit!" She started to hyperventilate. She started running through the trees in the direction of her house, sticking close to the fair. She looked over her shoulder but he was there she looked all around her, no sign of him. She rested on a tree and regained her breath and composure. She looked back to the Fair and made her way back, "He'll be after them." She pushed her way through the crowd out to the streets and was alone, she hadn't realised how cold it was and started to shiver. "Where are you guys?" She asked aloud.

Arthur Evergreene

Arthur decided to follow behind Anna and Ray. They seemed to know where they were going. As he jogged along behind them, he saw the man there, coated in mud. Arthur stood, wide-eyed. What the heck happened to him? Just then, his vision was getting hazy and a small staticy sound flooded his ears. He turned around to find Slenderman. "OH SHIT!" he cried and ran off in his own direction as fast as he could go. He didn't care where, he just needed to get out of this damn forest. He ran into the clearing, recognizing the fair immediately. He continued running, pushing past people. He turned around. He'd lost Slender. Unfortunately, he'd lost everyone else in the process. This day wasn't taking a good turn. Sighing, he walked out of the fairgrounds and onto the street.

"Where are you guys?"

"Anna?" he called as he heard that sound. In a matter of seconds, he saw Anna standing in the middle of the street and jogged to her. "Where's everybody?" he asked her.

Drake Temple

Mud coated his clothes. Ray pulled him to his feet and Drake began running again with Ray. He kept running until he reached the forest which made Drake stop again, only this time not so abruptly. He looked behind him noticing that two of the 6 of us was missing. 'Shit!' He though once he saw the tall faceless man maybe 2 dozen yards away from them. Drake finally ran into the forest. He didn't get out like the rest of them. He kept running in deeper and deeper until finally he saw them. the mutilated bodies of deer and bunnies. their intestines littered the forest floor and they were chopped to bits. Drake finally dropped to his knees, blood oozing from his mouth, and the buzzing in his ears was now deafening.
