Ray Silverwood's Story

(Guys, Wolfdawn (Rae) is a very old and long time friend of mine. She was one of the first people I ever Roleplayed with. Please make her welcome :3)

Ray Silverwood

Rays shocking blue eyes found Anna’s fair face in front of him once again. He smiled half heartedly at her rather amusing attempts to take his mind from the empty faced horror that was clouding him. He placed a warm palm upon her cheek, heart pounding hard in his chest with fear. "Anna...I don’t think milkshakes will take my mind off it..." Ray whispered coldly, spitting more crimson liquid into the grass beside his ankles. He watched carefully as she returned to her feet, suddenly franticly snapping photos. A curse left her lips as she flicked through them...

He knew what she saw. Ray dared not to glance behind him.

The youth watched wide eyed as Arthur dropped to his knees clearly in a very similar situation to himself. He listened to his ideas about having a distraction, but Ray was unsure he could be distracted knowing that "Thing" was right behind him. He also considered Drake and Anna’s idea about leaving. "But would he not just follow us!?" He hissed, but there was no time for arguing now, Slenderman could be slowly making his was towards the group.

Wait Ray...your talking as though this “Slenderman” is real...

“You know if this is a f**king joke, I swear I’ll snap whoever is responsible neck...” Ray snarled, but it sure didn’t seem like Arthur, Anna and this “Drake” were acting. They held the same fearful expressions as himself... and the artical he read did say that coughing blood was a sign he was coming...

Anna's smile dropped. "Ray, this isn't a joke." She told him, she looked behind her for a quicker way through the crowd. "We can go through the forest, my house is close, we can go there." Anna suggested, looking into the forest, a small girl was standing there. "Oh god." She breathed as she pushed her way through the crowd to get to her. "Hey you!" She called. "The forest isn't safe! Get out!" She cried, her eyes frantically scanning the immediate area. "Please, come with me." She stretched her hand out to the girl, she looked past her to see the faceless one, the tall one, Slenderman. "Oh god no!" She grabbed the girls wrist and ran back to the group. "He's after this girl to." She whispered and looked down to her. She felt her someone pull her back, pretty rough. "I thought I told you Anna!" Her dad yelled. "No dad, you don't understand please!" She cried, her eyes darting back and forth to the group. "Dad, he's here." She looked to the group, 3 of whom were coughing. "I showed you the blog. One of the things that means he's coming for you is coughing, badly and a bloody cough and then like my mum, they'll be gone." She felt a tear slide down her cheek. "It's not real!" He yelled back and grabbed her wrist. "We're going home." He tried to pull her away but she pulled back. "I'm doing this for her! I'm stopping him from getting anyone else! Unlike you, Sheriff." She told him and walked back to the group, not caring about her dad anymore. "Let's go, now."

Arthur Evergreene

Arthur had cleared his head and that thing was nearly completely out of his mind. His headache was still there, but he could be a lot worse. Opening his eyes, he joined the conversation once more.

"We can go through the forest, my house is close, we can go there." Anna suggested.

Arthur's expression turned into one of shock and puzzlement. She wanted to go into the den of the creature? Was she mad? He knew that the most probable way of dealing with Slender at this point was to join an area with MORE people, not less.

He was just about to protest Anna's decision making when he saw her run into the forest. It was then that he saw the little girl in the forest. Anna had grabbed her and was now bringing her back. He turned around and also noticed the Sheriff walking their way. Oh God, he thought, What did we do wrong? By the time Anna arrived to the group with the girl, the Sheriff had done so as well. The Sheriff grabbed Anna by the back of her shirt and began dragging her away. "Hey wait!" he cried out, but as he was beginning to walk to them, Slenderman showed his faceless head in the trees just outside of the clearing. A wave of nausea rushed through him and he crumpled to his knees again. He threw up the cotton candy he had got just a few minutes (Or was it hours?) ago. Raising his head, he saw Anna walking back to the group, the Sheriff's face turning as red as the ripest tomato.

"Let's go, now."

Regaining the power in his legs, he stood up, shaky. "Go where? In through the forest? Because that seems like the opposite way we should go..." Arthur cried.

Drake Temple

Drake listened to all of them, then watched Anna get the girl and fight with her dad. once she was back Arthur said "Go where? In through the forest? Because that seems like the opposite way we should go..." "Does it matter where we go? just run!" Drake started pushing the group to run. He started running as well and picked up the pace, running past all of them. He was scared out of his mind and Slender had messed with his head to much for him to want to spend any more time with him. He ran through the crowd and almost to the other side of the festival until he saw that faceless head poking out from behind a building near the fair in the direction he was running. He slid to a stop and fell backwards onto the grass, losing his footing. There was nowhere to run it seemed.

Ray Silverwood
Ray raised a eyebrow, though he did completely agree with Arthur it seemed like they had no choice. He met eyes with the brunette male and sighed whilst wiping the blood from his lips. "There's no escape anyway..." He sighed in a cold tone, glaring towards the forest.

The youth saw Anna return with a small blonde girl? Boy? He squinted his blue eyes, glaring at the child realizing she was most certainly a tomboy kind of female. She seemed young, but her appearance had a hint of maturity in her. Ray wondered if her tiny runt like body was giving off a false age. He dragged his pupils from the girl, giving a single cough before swallowing the blood in his throat. For some reason she made him incredibly uncomfortable and uneasy. Maybe he was just not good with kids and just found her well.... creepy...

Anna was suddenly grabbed by her Father, he watched wide eyed as he man handled her and shouted; tears began to slide from her hazel eyes. He snarled quietly, didn’t he see that he was hurting her both mentally and physically!? Did he even listen to a thing she said!? Now Ray himself was not completely sure whether he believed this whole ordeal or not but shouting in a broken girls face was not something that would make everything stable...

Arthur began to puke, the stench making Rays own stomach roll over. "Come on, lets just get moving...Take it steady...I'll keep towards the back..." He said giving the male ahead of him a gentle push forwards. The raven haired boy jogged behind the group, continuously glancing over his shoulder but finding no empty face behind him. He relaxed a little, when suddenly a thud caused him the skid to a stop. Ray found Drake at his ankles, coated in mud from the fall. He reached down, offering the dark haired youth a hand up. "We need to move, stop panicking god dammit..."

Suddenly, the sound of static filled Rays ears and a hard throbbing pounded on his forehead. Blood began to drip from his lips as his eyes widened to a inhuman size. "Drake...Move...I SAID MOVE..." Ray yelled loudly, dragging the male to his feet and pulling him along with him.

He glanced over his shoulder once again. This time that tall black suited man was less than few meters away...

Anna followed behind Ray. "It'd be best if someone he was chasing was behind?" She suggested, putting a hand on his shoulder to relax him. She walked right into him when he stopped to help Drake, she was to busy looking around for any sign of Slenderman. She looked over to Drake, "You okay?" But Ray started to panic and ordered everyone to run, Anna looked over her shoulder, this time she could see him. "Oh god." She whispered, fear had frozen her. She blinked and was free she ran a different way from the group, split from them she was heading for the forest alone. "Oh god, no no no." She panicked, her breathing picked up too. "Shit!" She started to hyperventilate. She started running through the trees in the direction of her house, sticking close to the fair. She looked over her shoulder but he was there she looked all around her, no sign of him. She rested on a tree and regained her breath and composure. She looked back to the Fair and made her way back, "He'll be after them." She pushed her way through the crowd out to the streets and was alone, she hadn't realised how cold it was and started to shiver. "Where are you guys?" She asked aloud.

Arthur Evergreene

Arthur decided to follow behind Anna and Ray. They seemed to know where they were going. As he jogged along behind them, he saw the man there, coated in mud. Arthur stood, wide-eyed. What the heck happened to him? Just then, his vision was getting hazy and a small staticy sound flooded his ears. He turned around to find Slenderman. "OH SHIT!" he cried and ran off in his own direction as fast as he could go. He didn't care where, he just needed to get out of this damn forest. He ran into the clearing, recognizing the fair immediately. He continued running, pushing past people. He turned around. He'd lost Slender. Unfortunately, he'd lost everyone else in the process. This day wasn't taking a good turn. Sighing, he walked out of the fairgrounds and onto the street.

"Where are you guys?"

"Anna?" he called as he heard that sound. In a matter of seconds, he saw Anna standing in the middle of the street and jogged to her. "Where's everybody?" he asked her.

Drake Temple

Mud coated his clothes. Ray pulled him to his feet and Drake began running again with Ray. He kept running until he reached the forest which made Drake stop again, only this time not so abruptly. He looked behind him noticing that two of the 6 of us was missing. 'Shit!' He though once he saw the tall faceless man maybe 2 dozen yards away from them. Drake finally ran into the forest. He didn't get out like the rest of them. He kept running in deeper and deeper until finally he saw them. the mutilated bodies of deer and bunnies. their intestines littered the forest floor and they were chopped to bits. Drake finally dropped to his knees, blood oozing from his mouth, and the buzzing in his ears was now deafening.

Anna heard her name, she turned around to see Arthur. "Oh thank god!" She ran over to him wrapping her arms around, she released him and looked up at him when he asked "Where's everybody?" She looked around, then looked into the forest. "No. We all ran into the forest didn't we?" She grabbed his wrist and ran in, pulling him behind her. "Ray! Drake! Korean girl! Little girl!" She shouted repeatedly. "We have to split up, find them." She told Arthur. She could see Slenderman he was near a shed, she started towards. "Oh god, no no no." She panicked, worried he had someone. She passed a guy trying to sell tickets for the Ferris wheel. "Hey, do you know what's in that shed?" She asked, the question rather rushed as she frantically pointed to the shed.

(Guys I'm so sorry for the super late post. I had a argument with my Mother and my Laptop was taken from me. Yeah...Things at home are not that great...Anyway welcome new characters, I hope you enjoy it here. Btw for long term inactive characters, we might have to ignore them, but they are welcome to jump back in at anytime. I was just thinking too, should we not be rping in the forest section? I mean I really don’t mind, we can continue here if you like!)

Ray Silverwood.
Ray and Drake ran franticly through the forest away from the tall dark suited man. The men’s breaths were fast and heavy; hearts pounding in their chests. After what seemed like forever the pair skidded to a stop. The black haired youth glared around noticing that both Anna and Arthur had vanished. "God please...No!" He snarled, though he was pretty sure both the brunettes would know what they were doing with their just being the two of them it made them a easy target...then again Slenderman took anyone...

He remained silent but scanned his blue eyes across the group: the Korean woman, the small creepy blonde girl and Drake. Suddenly, Drake began to run again, furious and afraid. "GOD DAMMIT DRAKE!" Ray yelled, pulling the blonde girl onto his shoulders and forcing her arms around his neck. He shook a little as he did so, why did she creep him out so very much!? The trio then ran after the male, trying hard to keep up with his fast pace. Suddenly Drake halted...

Blood...Animals strung up on trees...lifeless...Crimson...

Ray felt sick. He shot wildlife himself but never treat them in such a way and wasted their flesh. Who had done this? Slenderman!? But why!?...

Arthur EVergreene

Arthur embraced the hug, trying to calm Anna down. "I think everyone else ran into the forest. I had turned around when I lost the group and came out on the street." Anna and Arthur ran into the forest, calling to the group...or at least the names he knew. "Ray! Drake! Where are you?!" he called. No answer.

We have to split up, find them,"

Arthur hesitated at that. He didn't like the idea of being alone in the forest with Slenderman at his heels. Most likely, he thought it better to be together until they found the rest of the group. But before he could protest, she had left him. Now he was alone in the forest. Cursing, he walked along, reaching this rock formation known as the Pinwheel. Why this was called the Pinwheel, he'd never know, but he knew his research to know enough that he'd better stay in the forest rather than in the open. Running back in the forest, he turned around. No Slenderman was behind him. "Where did he go?" he asked to no one in particular. Instead of relieving him that Slenderman wasn't there, it feared him on who Slenderman was after. Anna? Or the rest of the group? Sighing, he continued walking straight. Something caught his eye to the left. He walked towards it. All he saw were strung up animals. The blood was everywhere. He sighed in disgust. Who would do this kind of thing? Slenderman?

The next movement he saw led him back to the rest of the group! He nearly shouted for joy. "Guys!" he called to them, running at them. "How'd you end up here?" he asked.

Drake Temple

Suddenly it stopped. The buzzing stopped, the blood stopped, Slender man stopped. Drake slowly got to his feet, dizzy and tired. Blood from the animals stained his jacket. The only problem is though, if the faceless monster is done tormenting him, who is he tormenting now? Drake wanted to just lay down and sleep but he knew he couldn't. Slender man took to many of his friends and he would be damned if it would take any more. Drake turned around until he saw signs of the town. He began running again. (Sorry Luna :P) Finally he emerged from the forest, a little way in front of the others. He kept running down the streets of the town until for some reason he blacked out.

Chaos

Drake stood still. He looked behind him, seeing Ray and the girls a little ways off. He hid behind a building until they were gone. once they were he walked out and back into the forest. He found a small hidden opening with a duffel bag in the center. He opened it and put on his mask, a black hoodie, and changed into sneakers. he put the hoodie over his hair and grabbed his blood stained jacket. He ran through the forest until he finally found Anna. He stood somewhat behind a tree a little ways off and watched. He in no way is concealed and can be seen if you look in the right direction.

Jason Deans
Jason stepped over fallen trees and hopped over the little stream, he was heading towards the fair, his dad had forbidden both Anna and himself but screw him was Jason's thoughts as he approached it, he came up behind the Ferris wheel, Anna was standing there talking to the attendant. "Anna!" He called over as he ran over to her, he hugged her and Anna hugged back. "How did you get out? Didn't dad say you couldn't go?" He asked his older sister.
"He said the same to you and my window is beside the ivy." He heard her remark, she smiled when he hugged her but in the distance she could see someone standing, she couldn't tell who it was, it wasn't Slenderman, he wasn't wearing a suit but his face was concealed. "Look Jason you need to go home." He heard his sister warn him, her voice filled with worry. "I'm sorry, what? If you get to stay, I'm staying." He argued, but Anna just gave him a look and sighed. "Jason it's not safe, go home. I'll be right behind you but I have to find my friends and say goodbye." She smiled to him.

Anna Deans
Anna managed to convince her brother to leave and looked over to the tree where she had seen the guy. She ran over to it, curiosity and anxiety filled her body. "Hello?" She called and looked around the forest area, when she noticed she was right beside the Shed that she saw the silhouette beside. "Oh god." She whispered and went to run after her brother...

Anna and Jeremy Deans
Anna grabbed her brother's hand when she finally reached him. "Where are you going?" She asked, noticing he was heading towards the forest. "Home, this is the quickest way and you know that." He said, shaking his head like she was being stupid. "Just go through the streets." She asked feebly but Jason was determined to go through the forest. He continued on anyway, stamping on branches and hopping over undergrowth, Anna watched him, she hesitated before running after him, when she reached him she linked an arm with him and rested on his shoulder. "Do you ever think about mum?" She asked him and she felt him tense. "All the time," He admitted as he pushed a branch out of the way. "I mean, she did disappear on my birthday." He pushed more branches away and found a clearing, dead animals. Anna gagged and hid behind Jason, Jason had frozen. "What do you think did this?" Jason asked her, stepping forward and crouching down to inspect it. Anna knew exactly what did it. "Slender." She whispered and grabbed Jason back, "We're leaving." She told him and made her way back to the Village, she spotted Ray and the others, but Drake wasn't with them. "Guys!" She yelled and ran over, she wrapped her arms around Ray and then stepped back, realising that it was a bit random. "Sorry." She smiled and then Jason came up behind her. "This is my brother, Jason." Jason waved to the group with a smile.

(We might have to leave the inactive characters. I have sent them a message asking them to post, but if they don’t with in a day or two, I think it’s just best to leave them)

Ray Silverwood

Ray swung the blonde girl from his shoulders and placed her gently on the ground, not daring to look at the silent little creepy child. "How sick..." He spat furiously to the group as he eyed at the strung creatures. Suddenly Drake stopped, like he was seemingly frozen in time. "Hey..." Ray hissed, shaking him lightly by the shoulders. No reaction. Then, he darted away, back from the direction they came. The dark haired youth sighed, there was no way he was following him again. The guy was crazy! He was sure of it!

Arthur pounced up to him just as Drake dashed elsewhere. He smiled lightly at the brunette, being honest he was very glad he was alright. "I don't really know, we just ran from....from..." Ray paused, he didn’t like saying his name. He didn’t want to accept that this monster was real. But he had to now. No matter how much he wanted to lie to himself he had to be truthful. "From Slenderman, and then suddenly Drake ran here...and now he’s gone again!"

"Guys!"

Ray turned sharply to face the familiar voice, eyes widening with shock and clear happiness. "Anna!" He laughed, when suddenly she collided into him, arms snaking around his body. Her warmth was pleasant...almost blissful. He didn’t know why but it seemed like even with all this Slenderman stuff going on, he felt like if Anna stayed with him it would be worth it. His heart sank with slight disappointment as she pulled away, though he tried his best not to show this, but maybe failed a little.

Ray met eyes with another male, who had just travelled along with her. Who...Who is this?... "Is this your boyfriend?" Ray said in a quiet cold tone, but Anna stated that he was her Brother soon after. "Oh...Well. I’m Ray..." He said with a half hearted nod towards the youth.

Arthur Evergreene

He had just reached the group when Drake darted away. Oh well... he thought as Ray responded. "So I saw when Drake darted off to places unknown. Anyway, I'm glad you're all safe, but what is with ths screwed up part of the forest?" he asked, motioning to all of the dead animals.

Before he could answer, he heard Anna's voice and another reunion took place. It also looked like she didn't go it alone for there was a guy there she introduced as her brother. "Nice to meet you, I'm Arthur," he smiled as he extended his hand for him to shake.

(Luna, just to recap and im sorry for doing this, Drake IS Chaos, so his body wouldn't be in the streets, again sorry :/ )

Chaos

The masked boy walked closer and closer to the animals hanging in the trees. on the other side of it was the group of 4 (or 6) people. he took out his large curved knife and threw it like a pro right at a tree, the blade sinking in with a nice 'THUNK!', closest to Ray's head. Once he got their attention Chaos just stared down the whole group. Even further behind Chaos, Slender man could be seen watching the whole thing

Anna Deans
Anna yelped as she heard the thunk as the knife hit the tree, she grabbed Ray and hid behind a tree, she had pulled him with her. She looked behind the tree and could see the same guy from earlier. "You!" She shouted at him, Anna felt scared and grabbed Ray's hand.

Jason Deans
Jason hid behind another tree and watched as his sister held Ray close to her, he grinned before realising there was a large knife in the tree, his sister was now looking at the thrower and Jason reached over and grabbed her wrist and pulled her away, pulling Ray at the same time.

(Gah, Im Sorry >.< I Fell Behind. Lets Just Say Rae Got A Dose Of The Slendy Sickness Then Went Into A Daze)

Swirling, churning colors. White, black, ...crimson. Transitioning scenes bow to one another. Transient warmth, fleeting faces, or lack of. Rae can't tell if she's awake or asleep, She can't tell if she's alive or not, she can't tell if she ever really was.
Trees dance among the horizon of her vision, wait no... Is it herself thats shaking? Rae sat up, nausea barraged her at once.
"Ngh..."
She hadn't been aware of the shrill static in her ear until it began to wane.
Rae felt the earth underneath her palms, rolling pebbles beneath her finger tips' guidance. She lifted her chin, looking up at the others that converged before her. Her attention drifted past them and the nausea was retained the more her eyes absorbed. Brutally mangled animals dangled from their threads- struggling to support the sagging corpses.
What the hell was going on? Who were they?
How'd she get here?
The hair on her nape stood erect, her muscles tense like a coiled spring with trepidation, for good reason.
The blade colliding with the core of the tree made a dull "thump". The force of the impact sent splinters flying.
Alarmed Rae sprang to her feet.

Arthur Evergreene

Arthur jumped as a thunk of something hitting a tree was heard. He ducked behind a tree and looked in the direction the knife was thrown. A guy was standing there in a mask and a hoodie.

"Dude!" he called out,"Is this some idea of a joke? Snap out of it!" He gazed farther back into the forest and saw Slenderman. The nausea returned. He turned back behind the tree, concentrating on not throwing up. They were dead this time...he knew it.

He saw the short girl standing up in alarm, suddenly out of her daze. Running into the open, he grabbed her and ran back to cover, sliding to the tree trunk. Breathing hard, he turned to the girl. "Who are you?" he asked.
