a character in “Facility X”, as played by Asher MstrImmortalis

Description

Asher is 5"8'. He has white skin whth a light tan, and he has a slight muscle build as well. Asher has silver white hair and eyes that can penetrate whatever mask you wear. He wears a dark green cloak that reaches from the bottom of the face to his knees and blue jeans. His shirt inside the cloak is orange with an insignia on the heart area and the back. The insignia is pure black, and its shaped like a fire entrapped in ice. It's also shown on the back of his robe. Usually, people think he has an eye color disorder since his right eye is crimson red and his left eye is icy blue. However, that's the effect of having a light side and a dark side. He gives off an air of authority, wisdom, and such.

When turning into Lucian, Asher's eyes and hair change. The eyes turn blood red and the hair becomes jet-black. Lucian also releases a very dark aura. Also, the insignia will switch to ice engulfed in flame.

Race: God's Master Immortalis of Temperature (explained in history)
Age: 2000+ (but appears to be 18.)
Sex: Male
Marital Status: Single

Personality

Asher is as cold as the ice he can make, and he keeps his secrets as dark as the darkness he controls from other people. However, he can be as warm as the sun when it comes to friends, especially close ones.

To loved ones, Asher would reveal everything and give anything to protect her.

Inside that ice-cold mask is a young boy engulfed in indignation, melancholy, and sadness over lost loved ones, but mostly melancholy.

Likes: The old and wise; friends; swords; Roman Catholism; unique stuff; nature; quiet and calm places; peace; books

Dislikes: People who are ungrateful; tyrants; rebels who think for themselves; the Devil; sometimes God; atheism; Dark Ages; noisey and rowdy settings

Weaknesses: Always try to protect the ones close to him; elements that counter the ones he used; revealing his identity; weapons infused with the ashes of Immortali (his kind is a little different from an Immortal; they turn to ashes you can use when they die); elements manipulated by another of his kind. Attracted to girls easily.
Using too much of Asher's darkness manipulation would allow his dark side to take over. The dark side has many objectives, some of them are causing chaos and destruction, comlpete control over Asher's body, and his own personal benefit.

Equipment

Chilling Blaze: Asher's main weapon. It's a katana, but longer. One side is tinted orange and the other is tinted light blue, signifying fire and ice. It is said that a cut from his weapon makes the area of the body so cold it burns. Unbreakable. It also makes his ice and fire powers more effective.
Sheath: The sheath is acutally made with the rock you would see castles made of, and it is also imbued with magic, making it unbreakable. Asher uses it to his advantage as a small and light shield. He can also use it as a blunt weapon.
Elemental tags: Tags that had elements imbued into them. Asher can use these as traps or projectiles. Flame tags explode with white flames, ice tags freezes the surrounding area, dark tags would make the enemy not see Asher and his allies, light tags blind the enmy, electric tags would make a lightning field, and wind tags would make the air push enemies back with enough force to match a tornado.
Asher's Robe: This robe is usually what Asher wears in public to conceal his belongings as well as his identity.
Asher's eyes: His eyes are not just for intimidation. They study you exactly like a book. Your actions, reactions, battle style, everything. In a few minutes, he would know you like you were family.
Illusionist Style: Asher has manipulation over darkness, which allows him to make illusions. They can also affect other senses, such as hearing, touch, taste, etc. Asher implements this in battle in various ways, dpending on the situation. It can draw enemy attention, deceive the enemy for an opening, and other uses.
Age Manipulation: Asher is an Immortalis, so he can manipulate his age as he wishes. He can appear to be a 9-year-old, a 30-year-old, a senior citizen, or a baby (like he would actually be pressed to do that). Asher, like most Immortali, had settled on a "normal" age, which means he has an age which he usually appears in. Asher's normal age is 18.
Elements: Asher is able to wield darkness, light, wind, lightning, fire, and ice.

Infernal Blizzard: Lucian's version of Chilling Blaze. It has a darker shade to the blade and it eminates a demonic aura. The insignia is switched so the ice would be engulfed in flame.

History

Asher was 14 years old in the Middle Ages when he turned into an Immortalis. It was a raid on his village by the royal army sent by the ruler at the time, Julian. Asher revived along with two of his friends and rebelled. They eventually got an army of God's Immortali and overthrew the tyrant. However, the human race thought they'd be even more brutal than the last ruler, and so they rebelled. Eventually, Asher's friends died to save Asher, who was chosen to be the ruler. Asher roamed around the Middle Ages, killing any Devil's Immortli without mercy.
Asher then met an elite angel named Eva, who he quickly warmed up to. They became friends, and eventually fell in love. Asher soon became kind and opened. This love lasted a hundred years, but was broken up when they went too far and Eva was relinquished of her status as an Elite angel. Asher ran away before Eva could catch him. When airplanes were made, Asher moved to the Americas under the alias "Asher Evans." He used several other aliases and appearances using his darkness manipulation, so no one could recognize him. Asher had turned cold and dark again. Everyone could feel a bad vibe coming from him.

The Immortali are immortal, and they play one of two roles: destroying humanity or protecting it (Devil vs God). They can manipulate elements, their age, and are immune to normal human weapons and disease. However, they are vulnerable to weapons infused with Immortali ashes and other Immortali's attacks. They can live forever, not affected by time.

When Immortali die, they turn to ashes, which can be collected for weapons that can harm Immortali.

The Immortali are grouped into three ranks after being split into two sides (God's Immortali and Devil's Immortali):
Immortali: The newcomer. They only master one element,
Elder Immortali: They can master 3 elements.
Master Immortali: They can master up to 5 (only Asher has reached five. However, light doesn't count since that is not counted among God's Immortali. This goes the same for Devil's Immortali and darkness.)

Sample of your RP:
Asher Evans gasped, and fell lifelessly to the ground. To any normal mortal, they might have seen Asher just have a heart attack. To any normal mortal, it might just be a panic attack. Either way, and "help" they had in mind can not cure this curse of the Master Immortalis of Temperature.
Asher opened his eyes to see all black. Again with this...? He thought. Footstpes were then heard behind him, and Asher turned around, knowing who's footsteps were there.
"Lucian."
"Asher."
The two clones faced off against each other, their swords still sheathed. One had silvery white hair with icy blue eyes- the light side- and the other had black hair and blood-red eyes- the dark side. "What do you want from me, now?" Asher asked, annoyed.
"It's obvious, isn't it?" Lucian responded, unsheathing his sword Infernal Blizzard. "I want to take over your body."
Asher just responded with a shake of the head as he unsheathed his own sword, Chilling Blaze. "Over my ashes you can...." He taunted, pointing the sword at the manifestation of his sins. "Then come at me, bro." Lucian taunted with his own.
They both charged at each other, their blades clashing. The sparks illuminated the darkness, and spots where the sparks were turned to white. It was yet another battle Asher fights in his two-thousand-year life.

So begins...

Asher Evans Immortalis's Story

"Let go of me, peasants!" The black haired man spat. The guards wrestled over the "prisoner" until Daine saw the scene. "God...damnit... Lucian..." He muttered.

"Guys! I got this." Daine called out. The guards didn't even listen. They kept trying to subdue the seemingly human boy, but utterly failed. It was only when the guards were thrown off when Daine intervened. Before Lucian got his sword, Infernal Blizzard, out, Daine drew his gun-blade and shot a blank into Lucian's head. The boy's hair turned silver and the eyes turned icy blue once again. "For God's sakes... Asher, stop letting your dark side take over!"

"Sorry..." Asher apologized. He looked at the guards, who were now afraid of the silver-haired boy. The boy run to one of them and placed his hands on a wound that Lucian had done. The wound healed instantly. Asher repeated this until all the guards were cured. They did'nt even ask, just ran. Asher sighed. "Forever alone, huh?" He smirked, then saw the girl.

"Oh! Sorry about you having to see that." Asher apologized again, and bowed.

(Timber)
I've seen alot worse. trust me.' she smiled. 'I'm Timber and welcome to Facility X.' she offers her hand to the bowed stranger.

"Um... Hi." Asher greeted. He took the hand and shook it. "My name is Asher... What is this place?" He asked, leaning to the side a little to see the Facility X.

"Supposedly, it's a paradise for the ones that aren't human." Daine said. He had his arms crossed, still annoyed from Lucian. If that bastard continued to thrash about, I wouldn't have shot blanks. Instead, I would've used lethal force... Daine thought. Good thing Asher regained control of his body.

Asher pondered for a moment. Sure, he can tell the nice lady, but his race is supposed to be secret. Asher weighted the consquences, then replied. "I... am going to have to speak to you in private about that..." His voice lowered, as if he feared someone might listen.

Asher wondered why Timber left so hastily, and followed her, with Daine close behind. When he got to where Timber was, he sighed. "Really? Demons?" Asher muttered, forming icicles in his right hand. "Demon! Calm down!" Asher commanded. Usually he'd say something like "DIE!" but today was different. He wasn't going to kill someone... yet... Especially a demon. Every breath Asher took showed, as if the temperature dropped near him. His icy blue eyes glowed with intimidation.

Daine was shocked to see the demon, and nearly drew his gunblade when Asher started to make the icicles in his hands. As much as Daine wanted to join in, he also wanted to see how this goes. He crossed his arms, but one of his hands was near the hilt of his gun-blade, Devil's Eye Blade.

"Of course it's him, Bane doesn't draw like that. What ya working on over there buddy? Also you haven't ordered anything yet, what do you want, it's on me." Firvin says while putting an arm around Silas in a quick hug, trying to cheer the boy up. The overall effect on Silas, though the Firvin's intentions were kind, was uncomfortable. He shied away from Firvin, ever so slightly, almost not even noticeably. Before Silas could respond that he'd like a soda, Firvin whispers something to Revion, and Revion slithers off his shoulders and out of site.

"I know just checking, Bane could be playing a trick on us. remember the last time?" Sierra said and shivered at the thought. Silas, hung his head a little, he remembered last time vaguely. The only thing he remembered about last time was that a whole wing of the facility had to be remade. "No the drinks are on me. I don't have to pay." She reminds them. Silas smiled, Sierra was nice.

Silas looked up. Someone new had come into the facility. A werewolf from the look of it, all chained and muzzled. It was horrible. The poor thing must be terrified, all locked up like that. That's when all hell broke loose. Sierra went on a rampage, attempting to kill the guards who brought in the wolf. Firvin left the bar, flying after her as fast as he could, telling Silas to, "Just keep calm and focus on drawing." before going off to help Miss Timber detain Sierra who looked like she was about to slice something to ribbons. Firvin was right, Sierra thought HE was the one who was going to be all worked up. Still, Silas got up. He hated to see Sierra so upset. He jogged over to where she was, trying to get a hold on her to calm her down, but she was struggling too fiercely. In the struggle, Firvin accidentally smacked him right in the nose and knocked Silas to the ground, giving him a nose bleed and setting his eyes watering. Eventually, Sierra took to the Aviary, attempting to blow off steam, and the new werewolf was standing in her human form, de-muzzled. However, Silas hadn't noticed any of that. He was still sitting on his butt, trying not to cry. He knew Firvin didn't mean to hit him, he knew Firvin would never, but still. He hit him right on the nose. That had really hurt.

"Oh dear gods. Really?" The world froze. Bane materialized in front of him, like a wisp of smoke suddenly growing corporeal from nothing. "A bonk on the nose. That's gonna make you cry? Puh-lease... Alrighty, it's been a while, but hand us over, it's time to play." "No..." Silas said, barely even a whisper. "No, I won't let you." Silas said, still extremely quietly. "Well, I asked nicely, I'm taking it now!" Bane roared, diving at Silas, his body turning to smoke before it hit him. At that moment, the world shuddered around him. It was him. It was Bane. He was taking over. A thick, bloody red and black aura slowly enveloped Silas. The aura twisted and writhed, as if it had a mind of it's own. Silas felt his eyes roll back into his head. The world faded from him and he fell the rest of the way to the floor. After only a brief moment, Bane's eyes snapped open, golden and not the slightest bit comforting. The world slowly sped up and everyone else turned to look at him. Standing up and brushing himself off, Bane smiled his twisted evil smirk, his slightly longer canines showing. "Well hello there." Bane said, his voice slightly deeper than Silas's, he also sounded more cultured, but there was a rasp to his speech. "So nice to see you all again." Bane said, still smirking evilly. "It's been a while, hasn't it? Timber, Firvin, I'm so sorry, but little Silas won't be coming back for a little while. He wants to let you know that he's very sorry for letting you down, but apparently I'm too strong. Poor baby... Well, I'm off, I have dreams to smash, people to fight, and then, when I'm all done I have to bask in my own glory. I've got a long and busy schedule, so if you don't mind, ta ta!" Bane said, twirling and sauntering off, still grinning evilly.

Asher sheathed his sword when the demon went out the door. At least there weren't any... And then Bane showed up. injuries or anything chaotic... Asher sighed and unsheathed his sword. "God damn it..." Asher cursed. "One thing after another... Can't chaos give it a rest for a while?" He pointed his sword at the man surrounded by dark aura. "Calm down son... I don't want to hurt you... Nor do I want you to be hurt by them..." Asher said.

Daine stood up fully and brought out his gunblade when the man surrounded himself in dark aura and attacked the director of Facility X. He pointed it at the man on the floor, at the same time as Asher.

Just as Bane was about to smash through that flimsy barrier and end the lives of the pathetic creatures behind it, Sierra, or so Bane thought she was called, flew out of no where and landed in front of him, throwing up her hands as if to repel him. "You too, eh? Silas likes you, but to me, you're nothing!" Bane howled. However, he had miscalculated, the girl had thrown a barrier up in front of him, deflecting him from his course. He landed hard on the ground, Firvin the elf flying over the top of him and tumbling off to the side. Bane was just about to get up when Timber stood over him, "I think it will be the other way around." She shifted into a tiger and pinned him to the floor.

"Well, Miss Timber, this is a surprise. Never really pegged you for a cradle robber. I guess you never really know, huh?" Bane taunted, smirking devilishly. "However, you are wrong. It will be as I say, you see," Bane said, looking directly into the eyes of the great tiger, "Your strength is mine. Can't you feel it? Your will to fight with me fading? Your strength failing? That's this blackness. Just being near me is bad for your health. Let me show you why!" Bane roared. Just then, the true size of his aura showed, sixteen times the size of the black sheath surrounding his body. The great blackness formed into the skeleton of a man's torso with four arms and two heads. It was solid as steel and it burned like fire. The air shimmered from the heat coming off of its body. The tiger astride Bane was dwarfed by the giant standing over Bane. "Stand aside!" Bane roared, swiping Timber off of his body with the giant's right arms. Bane slowly stood, the giant's rib cage settling around his body, protecting it while still granting him vision of those around him. Bane swirled his arms around his body and the giant's limbs followed suit, trashing about and smashing away the things that were near him like nothing more than matchsticks. Most of what he touched was stone, but everything else burst into flame.

"I will destroy everything he loves, I will mold him into a soldier, into a man and he will finally be of use to me. You!" Bane roared, targeting Sierra. "As I said earlier, Silas likes you. You're first." Bane slowly strode over to Sierra, intent on reducing her soft body to nothingness.

Stelian was sitting in the back of some government vehicle on his way to what the men had called Facility X. "So now general, What exatily is the Facility X and why is it so dreadfully important that I reside here?" The general looks back at him with slightly foggy eyes. "I'm afraid that is classified." With a glance into the general's eyes 'You want to tell me why I'm going to this facility'. "Well since you'll be living here I believe it would be alright for me to tell you. You are a vampire therefore not human the government has decided that all non human spell type creatures will be sent to live in the Facility. You will be with other creatures with 'magical' abilities that don't fit into the human lifestyle." "So your trying to separate us in order to encourage a feeling of safety for the humans. A dreadful cause but I don't think this entire armed convoy was needed for little old me." "Government ordered I'm sorry, but we are almost there." In the distance a large building comes into view looking much like a prison. "I was under the impression that this wasn't a prison General. You'd do best not to lie to me." Slightly panicked, "It's much nicer on the inside than you'd think. Its more of a resort I promise you don't have to get angry." "Well fine."

They shortly arrive at the facility and Stelian departs the vehicle cuffed with some form of hand and foot movement device. Looking into the eyes of one of the guards. "These aren't needed I did come here willingly after all. Release me and give me my papers and I'll go quietly this is all unneeded." After a moment's hesitation the guard releases the cuffs and hands him the papers. "Now you can leave me I can escort myself into this facility." Another moment of hesitation and the guards leave. "Finally I can be alone. This desert is much to bright They should have been much more quick to move."

He reaches the door and lets himself in a very unexpected sight welcomed him. The inside of the prison was like a tropical resort. Everything was perfect except the fight that was going on near what he assumed to be the bar. 'Well I'd hate to get in the way I'll just sit here in the corner and watch may be entertaining after so many hours driving through the desert to get here... I wonder who's in charge here."

Bane, the Outside World.

As Bane walked calmly and coldly over to Sierra, he was tackled by a fifteen foot tall dragon. Bane yelled in fury, "Get off!" Bane moved his own arms as if to intercept the attack, and the giant skeleton followed suit, grabbing the dragon and throwing him off of him. The dragon clawed at him, slapped him with his tail, and attempted to burn him to a crisp. Bane's skeleton couldn't dodge the tail and it knocked him slightly off balance, but not enough to knock him over. Bane steadied himself and intercepted the claw, applying pressure and leaning into him so as to get back up. He dug the skeletal claws into the dragon's soft paw as he did so. When he finally stood, the dragon attempted to roast him alive. The fire didn't even phase him, the skeleton absorbed it, and used the energy to create more aura, and covered his skeletal giant's body in muscles made of aura. The skeleton roared and thrashed about some more, wrecking everything around him. When the dragon finally backed off, Bane roared in triumph, and turned back towards Sierra who had put up a shield to protect them. Bane strode over to the group, who were hiding behind the shield. There were others behind him, challenging him with raised swords, however, they weren't his target. They could wait, Sierra was first.

Bane raised his right arm and swung it forward as hard as he could, the giant on top of him mimicking his movements. The giant raged at the invisible wall in front of him, pounding it repeatedly with all four arms. Just as he was about to break through, he caught Sierra's gaze.

"Silas i know you are there please come out, you're stronger than him. Maybe not in raw strength but in character, whatever powers he has you have too. I know you're in there so just show yourself... except you can't. I know why you're in there. It's because you are afraid, afraid of being alone, afraid to be something other than that cold hard machine. But you can be more, you can survive this." She said stoically, not breaking her gaze with Bane, looking straight into his cruel golden eyes without flinching. Bane just smirked coldly at her and flung his fist ito the air, the barrier was crumbling, once more was all it would take. He was just about to retort with a snappy rebuttal, about how Silas was a cowering weakling and would never beat the mighty Bane when he began to swing his hand down one final time. Suddenly he stopped, Bane dropped to his knees and screamed an unholy scream, as if he was in the most pain anyone had ever endured. Silas was... fighting him? No! It couldn't be! He was... winning?

Silas, within Their Soul.

When Silas opened his eyes, he was surrounded by darkness, sitting on the cold, hard floor. He immediately drew in his knees and closed his eyes, not daring to get up. He knew where he was. This was inside his soul, where Bane usually was. He sat for what seemed an eternity, listening to Bane as he rampaged through the facility. He was hurting so many of Silas's friends. He was the single worst thing that had ever happened to Silas and they both knew it. He tried to fight Bane, like he'd done before, however, Bane was too strong. He was intent on razing the Facility to the ground, he wanted to make Silas pay for being weak and innocent. Silas did the only thing he could do. He attempted to cut off Bane's access to the core of their soul. That was where they got their strength from. He managed to blockade it for a while, but when he heard Miss Timber jump on top of him and taunt Bane, he knew he couldn't keep the barrier up for long. Bane smashed through his walls and easily gained access to their power. Then, just as Silas was sitting down and preparing for Bane to wear himself out, Bane materialized in front of him. "Hello Cry-las." Bane smirked. "I take it you can hear whats going on? I will murder them Silas. I will crush their bodies into dust and burn whatever remains. I will destroy them Silas. There's nothing you can do about it."

"Stop it!" Silas cried out, he tried to make himself seem loud and threatening, but his voice seemed so small within the cavernous space he and Bane were currently in. "Please! Stop... Don't hurt anyone..." Silas said, tears beginning to form in his eyes.

"Awww... poor baby." Bane taunted. "You gonna cry? Do something about it then. Hmm? If you don't, I will kill them, starting with her." Just then, a double of Sierra was brought into existence, swirling into being from the smoke all around them. "You and I are one in the same. I know what you think of her just the same as you do. Her barrier is almost down. It won't be long now." Bane said. Just then. Silas heard her.

"Silas i know you are there, please come out. You're stronger than him... maybe not in raw strength but in character. Whatever powers he has you have too, I know you're in there so just show yourself... Except you can't. I know why you're in there. It's because you are afraid, afraid of being alone, afraid to be something other than that cold hard machine. But you can be more, you can survive this."

Silas looked up, finally opening his eyes since Bane had taken over. "Go away..." Silas said. He had only whispered, but his voice was strong.

"What's that? Go away? Why you insolent little pup. What would you be without me? How would you have survived if it wasn't for me?" Bane shouted, almost accusingly.

"I said, 'Go Away.' I'm not going to let you hurt them." Silas said, now standing, his courage growing with every passing second. "I'm not going to let this continue any longer. Get out of here!" Silas yelled at Bane. "I won't let you do this anymore!" Silas said, getting stronger and stronger. In the darkness of their world, Silas was shining. He whole body seemed to light up as he stood his ground against Bane.

"Pathetic," Bane said, shaken but standing firm against the growing might of Silas's confidence. "This is it?" He chuckled nervously, "This is nothing! You're nothing! I am the stronger of the two of us!" Bane said, trying to believe it. "you will always be too weak for the power you hold. I'm the only one who can truly utilize it, you'll never be as strong as me!"

"There are different kinds of stregnth," Silas said. "However, reckless strength like yours, that has no purpose, is utterly worthless!" Silas finished, yelling as he said it. "Be gone!" He roared at Bane, jutting his hand out towards him as if to blast him away. At that, the light on his body finally broke free, running rampant through the darkness like it did whenever he managed to drive back Bane. Bane's shadowy form dissipated and Silas felt himself rocket upward, he looked up but had to sheild his eyes from the growing light until...

The Outside World

Silas's eyes snapped open. He was kneeling on the ground underneath Bane's summoned colossus. The white wolf from earlier appeared to be casting a spell that created a wall of ice. Silas stood, his brown eyes blazing, he raised his hand into the air and suddenly, the massive evil aura was swept up into his palm as if it were caught in a whirlpool, spinning and shrinking until it was gone from the world. Silas fell to his knees once again, drained from the effort and panting with exhaustion.

"I did it..." he whispered. Looking over to the others, who were hiding behind one of Sierra's shielding spells, "I really did it! I beat him!" Silas exclaimed, pure joy radiating from his face. His happiness wouldn't last. Silas looked around, he'd smelled... fire? The lobby was completely trashed, walls were broken, things were on fire, and worst of all, his friends were hurt. His expression immediately darkened. "Oh no..." he whispered, trailing off while he surveyed the damage. "Did he do this?" Silas asked, horrified at what Bane had done. "I'm sorry." He said, tears beginning to form in his eyes. "I'm so sorry everyone." Silas cupped his face in his hands and cried, his body shaking with the force of his sobs. "I'mb so sowwy..." he said. His words distorted from the tears streaming down his face and his running nose.

Sierra broke the barrier and rushed over to Silas. 'You did it!!' she exclaims. She she leans in and quickly kisses him on the cheek. 'I knew you could.' she whispers before standing up and walking over to the wolf. 'Yes you did.' she says to her. Sierra didnt realise how exhausted she was. Sierra yawns then goes over to the bar, orders a drink then goes to sit down.

Timber stands up and walks over to Silas 'You did really well, I knew you were strong enough.' she says, before walking over to Daine and Asher, 'Wow guys that doesnt happen often.' she says sighing. 'Are you hurt?' she asks getting a little worried.

As Silas just sat there, crying his eyes out, the world was moving around him. It almost appeared to be in slow motion. The wolf lady put out all the fires and Firvin took off. Silas managed to stop crying just long enough to nod at him before he left. Timber went over to the two men with swords to chat with them, but Silas couldn't hear what they were saying. There was a newcomer. A pale man named Stelian, who introduced himself to the group. Silas didn't pay much attention to him. There would be time for a meet and greet later, but now, all Silas felt like doing was crying. Helping out with the restoration could wait. Silas hardly even noticed Shard asking him if he was ok. Silas nodded and quietly said, "I'm Silas, I've been here my whole life. This place is my home, but Bane keeps wrecking it. I'm sorry, but could you please just let me be for a little bit. I don't feel like talking to anyone. right now." He didn't want to be rude, but he felt like if he continued to talk, not just to Shard, but to anyone, he'd just start crying again, and he'd finally stopped just then.

Then suddenly, time sped up around him again when he noticed Sierra staring at him. She broke the barrier around her and rushed over to Silas. "You did it!!" she exclaimed. She she leaned in and quickly kissed him on the cheek. "I knew you could." she whispered before standing up and walking over to the wolf. She went over and spoke to the wolf lady before yawning then going back over to the bar. The world slowed down again. Silas was in shock. He didn't even realized the implications of what had happened until a good minute after they did. She'd kissed him. Silas blushed bright red, his whole face lighting up.

Silas quickly stood, shrugging off his embarrassment. Obviously she'd meant nothing by it. It was a congratulatory gesture, nothing more. No matter how much Silas wanted it to be. Silas regained his composure before, standing up and walking off back to the quiet room where witches practiced magic. There was something he needed to do. However, once he got there, he realized what he'd forgotten. Silas's bag was still back at the bar. Tibbers, his spell book, and his notepad were all there. Back where Sierra was. What was he going to do? How could he face her immediately after what had just happened. Silas knew he had to go back though. He needed the book.

Silas walked back to the bar. There was his bag, right next to Sierra. Silas swallowed hard, blushing just a little bit before walking over to Sierra and his bag. He quietly grabbed the bag and turned right back around. He quickly mumbled, "Sorry, forgot my bag. I'll be off now," before turning right back around to head off to the Witch's practice room. Hopefully Sierra was too preoccupied and wouldn't try to talk to him. He didn't know if he could take it.

The Immortalis and the half-angel lowered there weapons as they saw the stranger- Bane was it?- called off his summonings. During the whole thing with the happiness, Asher walked out of the facility and stood in front of the entrance for a while. Daine, on the other hand, stayed there and watched from afar, then shrugged and walked out as well to meet up with Asher. "Hey."

"Hi."

"You alright man?" Daine asked.

"Yeah... It's just that I'm not sure whether or not I can live here... I have too many secrets to keep, ones dangerous to reveal... Them... They all can reveal theirs whilst I am not to reveal mine."

"Dude... You revealed that so many times already..."

"Only to certain individuals..."

"Well, what can you do?"

"That's what I was asking you." Asher and Daine-or at least, Leonardo- were best friends. They both helped each other in their times of need. Asher is in his, trying to live a normal life inside a facility made for people like him. "I'm used to hiding, man... It's not like I can freely express my true self that easily..."

"Then at least try..." Daine responded. He sighed then went back inside, sitting on one of the chairs of the bar. Asher went back in as well, sitting right next to Daine.

Sierra continued to smile, "Riley's coming back" she squeals. Slias's face lit up. Riley was coming home?! Silas grew up with Riley as a sort of older sister/mom. She' was the one who taught him how to commune with nature, how to use magic. She was a huge part of his life, and the lives of all the residents of the Facility. She was its heart, its soul, its very center. Everything revolved around Riley. She was the perfect leader, kind and compassionate, but she would defend the Facility and its residents with fierce loyalty if it ever came down to it. Silas smiled. "Well what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Silas said happily, placing his gloves in his pocket and taking Sierra's hand.

Sierra removed her wings from around them and led Silas out the practice room. They walked down to the lobby hand-in-hand. Silas grinning like an idiot the whole time. He looked around. Everyone was there. Firvin was smiling at him and flashed him the thumbs-up. Silas sheepishly rubbed his empty hand on his neck. Timber was there, but when Silas tried to meet her gaze, she looked away. Was she... blushing? It couldn't be, not Timber, she must have just been excited to see Riley, just like Silas was. He disregarded her blushing. There was a woman, who Silas hadn't met, that walked in with a wolf padding along silently next to her. She said hello to FIrvin and Timber, so she couldn't be all bad. Still, Silas was never good with meeting new people. She spoke up, "I'm Magiere and this is my wolf Ayla, don't worry she's as friendly as any dog you've met." She said introducing herself to Silas and Sierra. "Umm... hi." Silas said quietly. He cleared his throat and spoke up, he wasn't sure if she'd heard him, but it was still so hard to be himself around people he hadn't met. "Hi, I'm Silas, I'm a warlock." he said, louder this time, but still just a little shy.

However, by looking around, Silas saw the damage he'd done. It wasn't that long ago that he'd destroyed half the lobby. To be fair, it was Bane who'd done it, but Silas was still saddened by destruction. It wasn't something he wanted Riley to come home to. Still, he couldn't stay sad. Silas was holding hands with Sierra. He had even kissed the girl, that beautiful, wonderful girl, three times in a single day. Just thinking about it gave him goosebumps and made him smile wider. He was so happy.

Further, Silas had begun the process of befriending Bane. If he could do so, he could finally unlock the secrets in his mind. He noticed that there were parts of his soul that were locked off to others, places only Bane could go. They needed to be broken open. Silas had to know. That however, could wait. Silas could hear the sound of a helicopter's blades thumping against the air. He broke into an even wider grin. Riley was home!

After Silas introduced himself, he looked down towards the floor, smiling sheepishly. There was just something about meeting new people that unnerved him. He didn't know why. Sierra rubbed his hand, "It's ok," she whispered to him, getting Silas to smile. "I'm Sierra, I'm Lucifer's angel." she says smiling. "This is Silas, my boyfriend." As if to prove her point she stretched up and gently kissed him. Silas blushed, kissing was great in private, but in front of everybody it was a little too much for him. He didn't mind her kissing him whenever she pleased, in fact, he liked her boundless confidence. It was his favorite trait of hers, however, it still didn't change the fact that it was being done in front of everybody. Maybe they could talk about it later. "You may have to be careful with her around Cole he is very dominant." She says gesturing to Alya, at which point, SIlas nodded in approval. Cole was territorial and strong. Though he'd be friendly once he got to know her, there would definitely be some conflict over dominance in the future. At that point, Firvin came up to them. "Hey everyone, what's up?" he said, greeting them. 'Not much.' Sierra says with a giggle. Silas blushed and studied his shoes. He knew Firvin would say something embarrassing about his dating Sierra, he just wasn't sure what. Silas, however, didn't have time to prepare a rebuttal, the sounds of helicopter blades were becoming even stronger. It was here!

The doors blew open from the wind made by the helicopter blades and Riley stepped in. She looked around, blackened furniture lay strewn across the floor and there were marks on all the walls. She looked back at the large group who had gathered to meet her. "What the Hell happened here?" she exclaims a smile breaking across her face. Timber ran forward and hugged her in a friendly way. Cole whined at Riley's feet so Timber lent down and scratched his over sized head. Silas saw Timber say something, and Riley nodded. She must have told him it was Bane's... his fault. Silas's eyes were boring holes in the carpet. He was so ashamed of what he'd done.

Just as Silas was about to stop contemplating the carpet patterns, he heard footsteps. Riley walked up to him, and handed Silas a rectangular, thin box. She took a step over and produced a large wrapped box with holes in it. She handed it to Sierra gently. "Be careful with her." She said before walking over to the rest of the group, she handed out other gifts to the new-comers, Magiere, Daine, Asher, Ouka, and Stelian. The final gift she has, she hands to Timber.

Silas waited until everyone had gotten their presents, then he carefully opened the small, wrapped box. Inside was a wand. It was a dark, strong wood with runes carved into it, and a blue stone placed in a socket on the end of the handle. It was no ordinary, toy wand. Silas could feel the power flowing from it. It was a powerful tool for channeling energy and creating magic. Silas gasped when he picked it up. It was perfectly sized for his hand. Riley always brought him back something nice, but this was too much. Silas ran over to her and threw his arms around her. "Thank you so much!" Silas exclaimed, though his voice was muffled, as he'd buried his face in her midriff. Letting go slightly, his arms still wrapped around her waist, Silas looked up at Riley, "It's perfect!" He said, his eyes lighting up and a huge smile breaking across his face. "Well, no better time to test it out than right now. Let's see..." He trailed off, rummaging around until he found his book of spells. Riley had helped him write it.

Leafing through the pages, his eyes scanning for a particular spell, Silas stopped suddenly, he'd found it. Silas put the book down on the floor, and raised his wand and off hand like a conductor preparing for his concert. He closed his eyes, and began chanting in a low voice in words only understandable by witches. His hair flung upwards, as if a wind were blowing it and a small magic circle made of light appeared around his ankles, hovering a few inches off the ground. After a good half a minute of chanting, Silas raised his other hand then flicked the wand once, twice, as if tapping a music stand, and made a grand sweeping motion with his wand. Silas finished the gesture with a skyward, spiral flourish before slowly bringing down both his hands. Like water pouring over the lobby, all of the burn marks made by Bane washed away, leaving the place as if it'd been completely refurbished. After a second or so, the light faded, Silas's hair fell back to its usual style, and his eyes opened. Silas sat down, "Whew... that was hard." Silas said. "Still, I'm glad I could fix something, I... I hate how Bane wrecked our home like that." Silas paused for a moment, clearly upset at what Bane had done. He shook it off and spoke up again, "This wand is very strong Riley, are you sure you want me to have it?" he asked.

(OOC: Sorry, double posted on accident.)

After a while of sitting and watching it becomes apparent that this meeting is a reunion of old friends. Stelian begins to feel slightly out of place around all of the reminiscing and greetings. He decides to go off to the Vampire haven and practice some of his attack patterns. 'I doubt they'll miss me and I'd rather not interrupt their reunion.' He wanders through the halls until he finds a door marked Vampires. He opens it and walks in. Inside are practice dummies and the room is almost completely dark shutoff from all natural light lamps illuminate the edges of the room. "So this is the practice area for vampires..." He finds a group of practice dummies and takes his stance with a rope dart in hand. After a moment he launches the dart at one of the dummies flicking the string as he did so causing the rope to wrap around the dummy's neck as the bolt impacted. After pulling the rope tight the dummy vanishes in a puff of dust. A smile comes to Stelian's face. 'This is going to be fun.' He continues practicing using each of his weapons in turn finishing off with practicing some hand to hand combat against a group of moving dummies.

As Silas fills his head with worrying, Sierra picks up on it and says, "Don't worry." Sierra had whispered the words, just loud enough for Silas to hear, and draw confidence from, all the while stroking his hand softly. Silas smiled at her, "Thanks," he said, his voice just loud enough for her to hear. "I just can't help it. He's been a part of me for as long as I can remember. He's been around every corner, every closed door, and inside every dark room. He's everywhere, and he's nowhere all at once. How can I beat that? How can I be strong enough to face him, to protect you, and all my family here, from him?"

Riley must have heard Silas worrying about the wand and about Bane, because she said, "Don't worry about the wand and Bane. It was made especially for you. No-one else can use it not even him." she says with a happy sigh. "It is all yours." She adds. Silas's face instantly brightened, "Really?" He asked, his voice full of joy, "it's just for me? That's a huge relief. I was just thinking how horrible it would be for him to get a hold of it. Whew, well, it's been fun, but... ummm..." Silas said, trailing off and looking at Sierra pointedly, hoping she'd take the hint that he wanted to go somewhere else, to be with just her. It had been a long day, Silas wanted to spend his time with Sierra, relaxing and just being with her. She made him feel calm, and simultaneously confident.

Finally, after much coaxing, kisses, hugs, and reassurances that Sierra would be ok, Silas managed to get her to come with him out into the lobby. WHen they finally got there, Silas was shocked at what he saw. Firvin had, apparently, just arrived in the main lobby. Further, he was... HOLDING HANDS WITH RILEY? 'Whoa...' Silas thought. 'Is everyone pairing up?' He was shocked. He thought the pair of them liked each other, he never expected it to have happened so suddenly. There were a few new faces, but Magiere was there, Stelian too, Ouka the white wolf, Timber, Shard, and Kalin were all there as well. SIlas looked around, slightly confused. The mood in the air was strange, like everyone was on edge. Then Firvin spoke, still holding hands with Riley. He was so confident, so poised, so ready to do what needed to be done. Silas was shocked. To see the normally jokester Firvin take on such a dramatic personality change, what could have sparked it? Glancing between him and Riley, Silas put two and two together. Riley was going because she owed the government and Firvin would go to protect her.

Silas was terrified, literally shaking in his boots. War? With real people? It was so different from the practice dummies in the Witch's spell room. Silas didn't know what to do. On one hand, how could he stand by and let others fight to defend him with their lives on the line and do nothing. He couldn't, he'd have to fight. But then again, how could he snuff out another person's life? How could he possibly kill someone? Silas was so distraught, he felt like he was being pulled apart. He felt the need to protect his friends, but could he end another's life to do so? He sidled closer to Sierra. "I don't like this." He said quietly, squeezing her hand. Finally, after a few more encouraging and empowering words, Firvin finished his speech. Silas was impressed. Despite his own reservations, he couldn't help but respect Firvin's confidence and preparedness. Silas was enamored with him, the way he stood tall, the way he called for action. It was breathtaking to scared little Silas. Was Firvin such a presence this whole time?

At that, a line formed, most everybody was agreeing to help. Silas shrunk back. He couldn't, how could he? The only one who had ever hurt anyone was Bane. Silas wouldn't hurt a fly. Bane was always the one pushing Silas, he was even doing it now, raging against Silas's barriers, trying to make him fight. Silas swallowed hard, sweat was beginning to form on his face. Bane was raging against him, fighting for dominance with every fiber of his being. Silas held him back with sheer force of will alone. 'Go away Bane. I won't let you hurt people.' Silas yelled at Bane, scolding him in their mind. 'Come on you wuss, those people are evil, they're attacking your home Silas, your HOME. Doesn't that mean anything to you?' Silas couldn't think of anything to say. Bane was right, but a life was still a life. Who was he to decide who should live and who should die? That was when he heard Sierra speak up.

"I will fight to protect my brothers and sisters, I will speak to my lord and ask him for help. The humans have got themselves into a mess... again. I suppose they should learn who really are the more powerful race." Silas felt his heart shatter. How could he stay home while his Sierra, his darling, sweet Sierra went off to war. What would he do, stay home? Watch the Facility till they got back? How could he possibly be content staying home while everyone he loved fought to protect each other. Silas felt his hand squeeze around his wand, whose tip shimmered for a moment in response to Silas's fighting spirit. Silas walked up to Firvin, his hand clecnhed tight around the handle of his wand. "I-I'll go too. I have to protect you. Besides, if Bane gives us that much trouble, imagine how much he'll give to our enemies." Silas said, fumbling at first, then slowly gaining confidence as he spoke.

As the members of the Facility stood and confirmed their agreement to join in the fight Riely looked up at Firvin and nodded. "Very well then. If everyone will take a seat at the main table I will begin the briefing." Once everyone had sat down Riely took her position at the head of the table. Taking a deep breath she steadied herself for what she was about to say. "We have been given three different missions each one playing into different strengths of our members." After another breath and an encouraging look from Firvin she continued. "The first mission focuses on stealth in Tokyo, Japan. This task would be best suited to our spell casters. The mission is to capture a High Value Target hiding somewhere within the city. No other information is given other than the target's name and this photo. I will be going with this group. Any who wish to follow with me wait here at the end of the meeting." She looked around trying to gauge the reaction of everyone.

"The second mission is best suited for our weres. It is an ambush in the deep forest of Brazil. It give a location and a description of the targets. After the ambush you are to search the area and destroy any remaining forces. Those interested in this mission will be meeting in the dining hall after the meeting. Timber I hope you can take the charge of this one." Again looking to gauge the reactions she took another deep breath and continued.

"The third mission is best suited for the Vampires or other night based creatures. It is a search and destroy/capture mission in an elaborate tunnel system under Central China. The mission is to clear the tunnel of any enemy forces and to destroy or capture any technology or weaponry. Those interested in this mission meet in the basement conference room." Having given out all of the missions Riely let out a sigh of relief. 'That was easier than I thought it would be. "I can't thank you all enough for agreeing to help with this war. If we do our part we will be rewarded. Watch each other's backs I want to see everyone returning in one piece. Now everyone go to the meeting area of your wanted mission. Decide on a leader and prepare to move. We leave tomorrow morning. Good luck everyone." With that Riely sat, more of collapsed, into her chair watching as everyone went to their meeting areas.

(OOC: You do not have to go on the suggested mission if you would rather do a different one show up to that meeting. However try to keep the teams even.)

The angel and the Immortalis had conversed by themselves. The two lone wolves with the only knowledge of who the other truely was. Asher, the Immortalis of Temperature, Voice of Treason, King of a 100 Days, and the Last One Standing. Daine, the Angel of Death, Traitor to Heaven, and the Half-Human. These two came from the same background, and understood each other the best.

However, their conversation was interupped by sounds of a meeting going on. Reluctantly, the two nodded at each other and went into the room, listening intently at the situation. It was but a silent agreement. Two great and old minds think alike, after all. No words were needed to know what the other is planning. Asher would go with Riely. After all, with the elemental power of the shadows, nothing is able to find him. For Daine, he would go with the werewolves, and he would help in the ambush. The gunblade is a destrouctive weapon, after all. It's perfect for wiping out forces that try to kill him. They didn't really mind seperating, though. They usually come back some time or another. And that's when this whole thing was over.

ASHER
Without a word, Asher stayed in the room, leaning against the wall and closing his eyes. He needed to contact his own dark side. Why? They need to work together again, as sad as it sounded. The two sides of life cooperating with each other? It's Yin and Yang. They are part of one thing, yet colored differently. They just need to trust in the other. "So. You actually do need my help." Lucian smirked from inside Asher's mind. All he did was glare at his dark side silently, obviously testing to see how much his patience would last. However, Lucian's next statement caused Asher to relax. "Fine. I'll allow you to use my powers without any cost. Just remember that after this, you're fighting with me again."

Asher listened to Kalin, and contemplated about her description of her abilities. If she can trick the mind... Asher thought. "Hey, little girl." Asher called. "Maybe you can help with the ambush. If you can fly, you might be able to escape the enemy's range of vision. Starting a fire in the rain forest, specifically near them, would cause a disruption in their ranks. Trick the mind, and you have them all confused and vulnerable for the werewolves to eat them up." Asher explained, using his wisdom that was once in his mind a thousand years ago.

DAINE
Daine walked silently to the basement, his gunblade becoming unsheathed. Finally... Something that isn't boring around here... Daine thought. In truth, his life was spent in peace, but as a vagrant. He can't enjoy life without excitement anymore. Being stuck in one place is frustrating, and boring. So, the first even you see, you take the opportunity and firmly grasp it with your own two hands. Daine ended up running in rxcitement. Nothing boring about this anymore. However, he despite his smirk on his face, Daine did take it seriously enough.

"Yeah, Asher had a good idea, can I help with the ambush? His plan seems as though I could help out if I followed through." Kalin says. She looks at Riley. "So, can I Riley? Even though I'm not a were, can I join the ambush?"
