Sierra pulled away and looked down again. "Sorry," she managed to mutter before bursting into tears and running off down the corridor. Silas was heartbroken. He reached out after her, and tried to call her name but he only managed to squeak past the lump in his throat. He could feel tears forming in his eyes, but wiped them before anyone could see. He remained rooted to the spot for a moment. He couldn't move, and he didn't feel like talking. The room was literally growing darker around him, shadows clung to the walls and ceiling, turning the area around him to night. Finally, Silas pushed open the door and trudged slowly down the hallway. He knew he'd screw it up. It had only been a matter of time. It just went to show. He just wasn't meant to get close to people. As he slowly ambled down the hallways, the darkness from before followed him, reflecting the state of his heart. The shadows didn't stick around after he'd left. Instead, they followed him, tormenting him and laughing at his failures, probably at Bane's direction. After a long time, Silas had made it to the magic room, once he closed the door behind him, locked himself in. The room brightened slightly, something was changing within Silas. When he normally would have sulked for weeks, even months, Silas already felt different. Not better, by any sense of the word, but different. Though his heart ached for Sierra, he felt his eyes brighten up and his back straighten. It was a good thing that he'd locked the door behind him. Silas was going to do something reckless, completely foolish, and almost entirely crazy. Instead of waiting around like he always did, Silas was going looking for Bane.

Sierra realises she made a mistake, she liked Silas a lot but maybe he didnt feel the same way. He was the first creature she had ever loved. She landed quietly and sprinted to the magic room. She tried the door but it was locked, concentrating on her powers she imagined an invisable key going into the lock, the door clicked and swung open on its hinges. Sierra cautiously walked in. Her wings extended a bit but she managed to control them. She sheathed her sword no sure how it got to be in her hand. She could see Silas in the corner and a new girl. Sierra walked over to Silas hoping he wasnt angry with her. She folded her wings across her back but they we still tense incase of a swift exit. 'Silas i'm so sorry, I got the wrong body signals from you.' she looked away unable to look him in the eyes, her heart was fluttering like a house of butterflies. 'The truth is i really like you, I have for so long. But i can see you think differently, I will stay out of your way.' a silvery tear rolled down her cheek and She turned around.

She walked over to the practice area. there were dummies that move and would help her recover. Sierra pressed the button and the buzzer sounds. The dummies start to roll forward. She draws her sword and readies it. the first dummy gets withing striking distance, Sierra's arm snakes out and the sword stabs him in the chest. The dummy dissapears into a veil of mist. Sierra puts the sword down she had no fear of losing it. Only she could touch it, even magic cant. She puts some of the anger she was feeling towards herself into a ball of spirit. She throws it at the nearest dummy and it crashes into it. Sierra let her wings unfurl slightly, if she let them unfurl completly they would be to big for the room. A single black feather drifts down but the rest stay in place.

(OOC sorry for such a long post)

The Outer World

Silas sat in the corner and crossed his legs. The room was dark and quiet, just the way he'd left it. Silas opened his spell book and turned to the very last page. Silas chanted a short spell and closed his eyes. He felt the world around him spin and he fell into himself. Silas's pulse slowed and his eyes rolled back into his head. Silas was going to visit Bane.

The Inner Soul

"Hello Cry-las." Bane said. When Silas opened his eyes, he was inside his soul, like he had been before when Bane took over. This time, however, it was different. Instead of being dark, and dreary like it always was. There was some light. It pierced the darkness here and there, it was still scary, but it wasn't as threatening as it was looming. The darkness was there, but it wasn't drooling in anticipation of eating you alive anymore. Silas didn't know why entirely, but he knew it had to do with one thing. Something that was different this time. Silas had come here on his own.

"Bane," Silas said. "Train me." Bane visibly faltered. "What?" he asked. "I don't believe it. This is a trick."
"No." Silas said. "I want to be able to turn off my drain. I want to control your aura, and I don't want to be afraid of you anymore. It's time for me to grow up a little. I've been holding onto my Inequities, and my fear of you, for too long."
"Umm..." Bane said, "Well... I don't know what to say. Are you sure you want this? I mean, we both know that when it comes down to me and you, I win. Every time. And you're willing to put yourself through this, because you feel like growing up? I'm impressed. Let's get started. I'm not gonna go easy on you though. If you're gonna turn into the kind of soldier I want, I'm gonna have to break you." Bane taunted, smiling evilly.

The Outer World

In the span of one hour of real world time, Silas trained for what seemed to be weeks in their Soul. Silas learned so much. He learned the secret to Bane's aura, though he couldn't quite control it, he could at least stop it more effectively. He learned how to become smoke and make himself intangible. Finally, and most importantly, Silas learned to turn off his drain. He could control it. It was an extension of Bane's aura. Silas had been repressing it, so it was hidden just under his skin. Finally, after what seemd an eternity. Silas opened his eyes. They were different though. They weren't just a deep brown. There were flecks of amber in them. When he woke, there was a girl in the room with him. He'd never met her before. "Oh, Hi!" Kalin said. "My name is Kalin, and you are Silas, right? I'm new, hello! I am a demon." She looks at him "Is something wrong?"

Silas looked up at her and smiled. "No." He said. "I'm great." He said cheerfully. Just then, the door opened. Sierra cautiously walked in. Her wings extended a bit but she managed to control them. She sheathed her sword no sure how it got to be in her hand. She could see Silas in the corner and a new girl. Sierra walked over to Silas hoping he wasn't angry with her. She folded her wings across her back but they we still tense in case of a swift exit. "Silas I'm so sorry, I got the wrong body signals from you." She looked away. "The truth is I really like you. I have for so long. But I can see you think differently, I will stay out of your way." Silas blushed bright red, but then he frowned. He was so happy. He wanted to jump and shout and throw his arms around her, but he couldn't. He was so embarrassed. He thought he was ready for this, obviously he wasn't, further, something was wrong. A silvery tear rolled down her cheek and she turned around, walking out of the Magic room before Silas could say anything.

"Um..." Silas stuttered at the new girl. "I'm sorry, but I need to go chase her. It was very nice to meet you." Silas threw himself down the hallway, following the sound of footsteps to the practice room. There she was. Silas closed the door behind him silently. He was panting softly, nervous, but ready. Sierra was obviously upset, she was viciously attacking the training dummies. Silas walked up behind her and tapped her on the shoulder, ducking when she twirled around, sword in hand. "Easy. It's me." Silas said reassuringly. "I'm sorry. I was too shy to say anything before, but...I-I like you. When I said I wanted you to stop, it wasn't because I wasn't enjoying k-kissing you. I did enjoy it. Very much so. I wanted to stop because... because I was afraid my draining powers would hurt you, but I'm not scared anymore. I can control them now." Silas demonstrated by taking off his gloves and gently touching her face. He wiped away a tear forming in her left eye. "So... umm... c-can we try again?" Silas asked. However, he knew he couldn't wait. He was too nervous, and he knew he couldn't hold it in any longer. Silas leaned over and gently placed his lips on hers.

Sierra blinked away the tears and closed her eyes, She leant in to him and her hands tangled in his hair. She let out soft moan as they kissed. Her wings curled around them both. Sierra moved closer until the were touching. She had waited so long for this moment, finally they could both enjoy it.

When they break away Sierra opens her eyes, they have turned a bluey silver. Her wings are still curled around them. 'Wow' she manages to gasp.

The whole world stood still around them. It was perfect. It had taken all of his life, but Silas finally did it. He was growing up. Sierra blinked away the tears and closed her eyes, She leaned in to him and her hands tangled in his hair. Silas didn't really know what to do with his hands, so he put them where they were most comfortable and where he saw it done in movies. Silas placed his hands on her hips. She let out soft moan as they kissed and Silas smiled. Her wings curled around them both. Sierra moved closer until they were touching, Silas wrapped his hands tighter around her, savoring every moment. It was a religious experience, Silas had been waiting to do this since the moment he saw her, now he finally could.

When they break away Sierra opened her eyes, they have turned a blue-ish silver. Silas met them with his own brown and amber ones, leaning his forehead against hers. He smiled, blushing bright red, he was at a loss for words. Her wings are still curled around them. "Wow," she managed to gasp. "Yeah... wow." Silas said. "That... Th-that was amazing." Silas stuttered. "I don't even know what to say. I guess I should... d-do you wanna go out? Properly?" Silas asked, still blushing scarlet red.

Sierra smiled happily, "Yeah, there's nothing else we could call what we have." She leaned in and kissed him again, Silas smiled. She opens her mouth and her tongue snakes out. Silas didn't really know what to do, and blushed harder than he thought possible. Silas was thoroughly enjoying himself when, Sierra's phone went off. Silas almost just ignored it, his mind in a state of thoughtless bliss. Sierra, on the other hand, jumped and broke the kiss, she rooted around in her pocket and reluctantly took out her phone. She unlocked it, leaning into Silas and looking at the text. Another smile breaths across her face and a lump catches in her throat. She turned to look up at Silas smiling uncontrollably. "What is it?" he asked before kissing her softly. "It can't wait?"

This was one of the best moments of his life. Here he was, with Sierra. Where he belonged. Even if it wasn't suave, even if it wasn't graceful, or tactful it had brought them together. He'd been dreaming of this day since he'd met Sierra all those years ago. It had only taken a few hostile take overs from Bane and a whole bunch of beating around the bush. Still, Silas had changed. He wasn't sure if it was for the better, but he knew he'd changed, and being here, where he was, felt good.

Timber chose that exact moment to push open the door to see Sierra and Silas kissing. A blush rose to her cheek but she couldn't draw herself away. Slowly she backs out the room as Sierra's phone beeps. Silas didn't notice her, he was much too focused on the beautiful girl he had in his arms.

Firvin was just about to relax in his room but as soon as he checked his phone he realized that it was time to head back to the lobby, he sent Silas a text to makes sure the kid knew to be in the lobby, although he had a feeling the kid would be there already. As he told Revion he was leaving the vine uncoiled but instead of crawling up Firvin's arm and onto his shoulders, as was usual he instead slithered to vacant recliner Firvin had just stood from and coiled up for a nap "You lazy bum, fine sit here alone." he said with joking sarcasm as he left his room.

He arrived in the lobby to see Timber, Silas and Sierra all already there. As he looked at Silas and Sierra he did a double take, Are they, they are! They're holding hands, I didn't know he had it in him. Firvin thought to himself, proud of the kid, He's done a lot for himself today he thought as he approached the group. "Hey everyone, what's up?" he greeted them.

Magiere was just about to leave her room, but she felt strange I hate being unarmed, but I don't want to walk around my knew home with swords, it might be uncomfortable for others she thinks eyeing her room. She makes eye contact with Ayla She's killed vampires to save my life, and she's playful enough with others that she wouldn't scare anyone she thinks to herself "Ayla, come on we're going for a walk" she says with a sly smile. She exits her and locks her room, with Ayla walking in step, Ayla is not on a leash, as she never was and Magiere saw no need to restrain her, she was well trained. "Ayla don't snarl at anyone, not even the vampire, we're gonna trust him, and we don't want to have to lock you in the room" she said to her wolf as they made their way to the lobby. Upon reaching the lobby she spotted Firvin and Timber standing by two kids who appeared in their early teens. "Hiya Firvin, Hey Timber" she greeted the adults with a smile. "I'm Magiere and this is my wolf Ayla, don't worry she's as friendly as any dog you've met." She said introducing herself to the kids.

Sierra continued to smile, "Riley's coming back" she squeals. Slias's face lit up. Riley was coming home?! Silas grew up with Riley as a sort of older sister/mom. She' was the one who taught him how to commune with nature, how to use magic. She was a huge part of his life, and the lives of all the residents of the Facility. She was its heart, its soul, its very center. Everything revolved around Riley. She was the perfect leader, kind and compassionate, but she would defend the Facility and its residents with fierce loyalty if it ever came down to it. Silas smiled. "Well what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Silas said happily, placing his gloves in his pocket and taking Sierra's hand.

Sierra removed her wings from around them and led Silas out the practice room. They walked down to the lobby hand-in-hand. Silas grinning like an idiot the whole time. He looked around. Everyone was there. Firvin was smiling at him and flashed him the thumbs-up. Silas sheepishly rubbed his empty hand on his neck. Timber was there, but when Silas tried to meet her gaze, she looked away. Was she... blushing? It couldn't be, not Timber, she must have just been excited to see Riley, just like Silas was. He disregarded her blushing. There was a woman, who Silas hadn't met, that walked in with a wolf padding along silently next to her. She said hello to FIrvin and Timber, so she couldn't be all bad. Still, Silas was never good with meeting new people. She spoke up, "I'm Magiere and this is my wolf Ayla, don't worry she's as friendly as any dog you've met." She said introducing herself to Silas and Sierra. "Umm... hi." Silas said quietly. He cleared his throat and spoke up, he wasn't sure if she'd heard him, but it was still so hard to be himself around people he hadn't met. "Hi, I'm Silas, I'm a warlock." he said, louder this time, but still just a little shy.

However, by looking around, Silas saw the damage he'd done. It wasn't that long ago that he'd destroyed half the lobby. To be fair, it was Bane who'd done it, but Silas was still saddened by destruction. It wasn't something he wanted Riley to come home to. Still, he couldn't stay sad. Silas was holding hands with Sierra. He had even kissed the girl, that beautiful, wonderful girl, three times in a single day. Just thinking about it gave him goosebumps and made him smile wider. He was so happy.

Further, Silas had begun the process of befriending Bane. If he could do so, he could finally unlock the secrets in his mind. He noticed that there were parts of his soul that were locked off to others, places only Bane could go. They needed to be broken open. Silas had to know. That however, could wait. Silas could hear the sound of a helicopter's blades thumping against the air. He broke into an even wider grin. Riley was home!

After Silas introduced himself, he looked down towards the floor, smiling sheepishly. There was just something about meeting new people that unnerved him. He didn't know why. Sierra rubbed his hand, "It's ok," she whispered to him, getting Silas to smile. "I'm Sierra, I'm Lucifer's angel." she says smiling. "This is Silas, my boyfriend." As if to prove her point she stretched up and gently kissed him. Silas blushed, kissing was great in private, but in front of everybody it was a little too much for him. He didn't mind her kissing him whenever she pleased, in fact, he liked her boundless confidence. It was his favorite trait of hers, however, it still didn't change the fact that it was being done in front of everybody. Maybe they could talk about it later. "You may have to be careful with her around Cole he is very dominant." She says gesturing to Alya, at which point, SIlas nodded in approval. Cole was territorial and strong. Though he'd be friendly once he got to know her, there would definitely be some conflict over dominance in the future. At that point, Firvin came up to them. "Hey everyone, what's up?" he said, greeting them. 'Not much.' Sierra says with a giggle. Silas blushed and studied his shoes. He knew Firvin would say something embarrassing about his dating Sierra, he just wasn't sure what. Silas, however, didn't have time to prepare a rebuttal, the sounds of helicopter blades were becoming even stronger. It was here!

The doors blew open from the wind made by the helicopter blades and Riley stepped in. She looked around, blackened furniture lay strewn across the floor and there were marks on all the walls. She looked back at the large group who had gathered to meet her. "What the Hell happened here?" she exclaims a smile breaking across her face. Timber ran forward and hugged her in a friendly way. Cole whined at Riley's feet so Timber lent down and scratched his over sized head. Silas saw Timber say something, and Riley nodded. She must have told him it was Bane's... his fault. Silas's eyes were boring holes in the carpet. He was so ashamed of what he'd done.

Just as Silas was about to stop contemplating the carpet patterns, he heard footsteps. Riley walked up to him, and handed Silas a rectangular, thin box. She took a step over and produced a large wrapped box with holes in it. She handed it to Sierra gently. "Be careful with her." She said before walking over to the rest of the group, she handed out other gifts to the new-comers, Magiere, Daine, Asher, Ouka, and Stelian. The final gift she has, she hands to Timber.

Silas waited until everyone had gotten their presents, then he carefully opened the small, wrapped box. Inside was a wand. It was a dark, strong wood with runes carved into it, and a blue stone placed in a socket on the end of the handle. It was no ordinary, toy wand. Silas could feel the power flowing from it. It was a powerful tool for channeling energy and creating magic. Silas gasped when he picked it up. It was perfectly sized for his hand. Riley always brought him back something nice, but this was too much. Silas ran over to her and threw his arms around her. "Thank you so much!" Silas exclaimed, though his voice was muffled, as he'd buried his face in her midriff. Letting go slightly, his arms still wrapped around her waist, Silas looked up at Riley, "It's perfect!" He said, his eyes lighting up and a huge smile breaking across his face. "Well, no better time to test it out than right now. Let's see..." He trailed off, rummaging around until he found his book of spells. Riley had helped him write it.

Leafing through the pages, his eyes scanning for a particular spell, Silas stopped suddenly, he'd found it. Silas put the book down on the floor, and raised his wand and off hand like a conductor preparing for his concert. He closed his eyes, and began chanting in a low voice in words only understandable by witches. His hair flung upwards, as if a wind were blowing it and a small magic circle made of light appeared around his ankles, hovering a few inches off the ground. After a good half a minute of chanting, Silas raised his other hand then flicked the wand once, twice, as if tapping a music stand, and made a grand sweeping motion with his wand. Silas finished the gesture with a skyward, spiral flourish before slowly bringing down both his hands. Like water pouring over the lobby, all of the burn marks made by Bane washed away, leaving the place as if it'd been completely refurbished. After a second or so, the light faded, Silas's hair fell back to its usual style, and his eyes opened. Silas sat down, "Whew... that was hard." Silas said. "Still, I'm glad I could fix something, I... I hate how Bane wrecked our home like that." Silas paused for a moment, clearly upset at what Bane had done. He shook it off and spoke up again, "This wand is very strong Riley, are you sure you want me to have it?" he asked.

"It was made specifically for you." Riley said, smiling. Silas beamed. Riley slides out her own wand, hers was Birch, it had a ruby in the socket and it was covered in runes and symbols of the witches language. She cast a small spell to touch up a small corner that Silas had missed. "Oops, I thought I got that spot." Silas said with a sheepish grin. He ran up to Riley and gave her another hug. "Thank you so much Riley. It's perfect." He said with a huge smile on his face. At that moment, Silas felt something moving around by his feet, he broke the hug and looked down to find Cole sniffing around at hiss feet. "Cole stop." Cole looks up his head cocked. "He's fine Riley, he hasn't seen me since I was little. He must be confused." Silas said, kneeling down and holding out his hand to sniff. "It's just me Cole. It's Silas." Silas said softly to the huge wolf, who cocked his head, then yipped happily, recognizing his old friend. Silas giggled when Cole licked his face. "Blegh, stop it Cole, I missed you too, but I didn't miss your slobber!" Silas said, still laughing. He stood up and walked away from Riley a little, he was sure she had other people who wanted to talk to her, and he could always talk to her later. He examined his wand. It was beautiful. He wondered, if Bane had gotten a hold of this, what if he did in the future? The wand was so full of raw power, it was attuned perfectly to his energy, he could feel it. It was a flawless conduit of energy. Bane was already so strong, what if he used it?

Sierra stands up and walks the short distance to Silas. Interrupting his reverie, she slid an arm around his waist and softly kissed his cheek. "You ok?" she whispered in his ear. Silas turned to her and smiled, kissing her forehead. "I'm ok." He said with a sigh. "I was just wondering, what if Bane got a hold of this? He's so strong already. The thought scares me." Silas said, sharing his worries with her. Absentmindedly, Silas reached over to Lucy and stroked the back of her neck. "She's beautiful." Silas said. "You both are." He said, the slightest of blushes painting his cheeks. "it's been such a crazy day..." He said, trailing off, lost in thought.

(OOC: Sorry, double posted on accident.)

After a while of sitting and watching it becomes apparent that this meeting is a reunion of old friends. Stelian begins to feel slightly out of place around all of the reminiscing and greetings. He decides to go off to the Vampire haven and practice some of his attack patterns. 'I doubt they'll miss me and I'd rather not interrupt their reunion.' He wanders through the halls until he finds a door marked Vampires. He opens it and walks in. Inside are practice dummies and the room is almost completely dark shutoff from all natural light lamps illuminate the edges of the room. "So this is the practice area for vampires..." He finds a group of practice dummies and takes his stance with a rope dart in hand. After a moment he launches the dart at one of the dummies flicking the string as he did so causing the rope to wrap around the dummy's neck as the bolt impacted. After pulling the rope tight the dummy vanishes in a puff of dust. A smile comes to Stelian's face. 'This is going to be fun.' He continues practicing using each of his weapons in turn finishing off with practicing some hand to hand combat against a group of moving dummies.

As Silas fills his head with worrying, Sierra picks up on it and says, "Don't worry." Sierra had whispered the words, just loud enough for Silas to hear, and draw confidence from, all the while stroking his hand softly. Silas smiled at her, "Thanks," he said, his voice just loud enough for her to hear. "I just can't help it. He's been a part of me for as long as I can remember. He's been around every corner, every closed door, and inside every dark room. He's everywhere, and he's nowhere all at once. How can I beat that? How can I be strong enough to face him, to protect you, and all my family here, from him?"

Riley must have heard Silas worrying about the wand and about Bane, because she said, "Don't worry about the wand and Bane. It was made especially for you. No-one else can use it not even him." she says with a happy sigh. "It is all yours." She adds. Silas's face instantly brightened, "Really?" He asked, his voice full of joy, "it's just for me? That's a huge relief. I was just thinking how horrible it would be for him to get a hold of it. Whew, well, it's been fun, but... ummm..." Silas said, trailing off and looking at Sierra pointedly, hoping she'd take the hint that he wanted to go somewhere else, to be with just her. It had been a long day, Silas wanted to spend his time with Sierra, relaxing and just being with her. She made him feel calm, and simultaneously confident.

Sierra managed to get Silas's hint. "Yeah Riley We'll see you later we have to go." Riley quickly looked at them then nodded absentmindedly. "Yeah lets go." Sierra said, leading him off to a part of the Facility, Silas hadn't been to. She led him, taking him by the hand, down the hall and out the door. They cross the courtyard to a large building. The desk assistant arches her eye brows at Silas, who sheepishly rubs the back of his neck and smiles before Sierra pulls him along, ignoring it. She leads him up the stairs to her room. She opens the door and leads him in.

Silas looked around, it was very quaint, in her room. A very stereotypical girl's room. It smelled nice, she had a few girly things in the room, but for the most part, it just felt like an extension of Sierra herself. It just felt like her. Sierra sat in the bed and let Lucy fly around. She grabbed his hand, and pulled him down to sit next to him. Silas followed her lead, sitting down next to her. Softly she brought her lips to Silas's. Silas closed his eyes and enjoyed the moment, blissfully savoring every moment of it. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer to him. Finally, after a good long while, Silas breaks the kiss, flopping down onto her bed, his arms extended, he left the one closer to her in a position for her to lie on top of, "It's been such a crazy day." Silas said with a sigh. "It's been a good day, a great day." Silas said, the hugest smile on his face, "It wouldn't be a stretch to say it's been the best day of my life. Still, I'm so tired..." He said. Silas's eyelids felt so heavy, they half closed. "Wanna know something weird?" Silas asked, "I went to see Bane today, not when I... we trashed the lobby, but on purpose. He's... he's not so bad. He showed me how to turn my touch off, he showed me how to become smoke. It's strange, I've been fighting him my whole life, now I'm... learning from him? Just a strange day."

Sierra fell back on the bed, like Silas had done before her, and snuggled into his arms. Silas adjusted his body so she would be more comfortable, placing his arm under her head. "Maybe he has discovered he was not the most powerful. He may invoke fear and try to smother all emotions but there is one that will beat him and you used it to take control. As longs as you hold onto it you will be the strongest." Sierra paused and held eye contact with Silas, she momentarily forgot what she was saying. Silas stared long into her blue eyes. They were perfectly shaped and perfectly blue, like sparkling sapphires cut into perfect cerulean spheres. Silas smiled. Before he could speak up, tell her how pretty her eyes were, how perfect she was, she spoke up again "And for as long as you want me I will be there for you, if you choose to not be with me I will always be on the sidelines never stopping loving you. I would put my life in front of yours, Silas I will love you forever, unconditionally. I would climb any mountain for you. I will look after you when you are ill, I will help you beat Bane." Sierra stops for a moment then continues. "I love you so so much, I will do anything." She picked up his hand and fiddled with his fingers, turning his hands over in hers and generally inspecting them. She let them intertwine with her own, perfectly lacing their fingers together. Silas turned over, there was something he needed to say. "You don't have to do anything special for me. I wouldn't ask you to. You just have to be you, and stay by my side, and I will... I will love you always. I've been waiting, worrying all my life, trying to get to this place with you, to be your... your boyfriend. Now that I'm finally here, I'm starting to understand what it means. I will protect you, I will care for you, and I will be here for you for always." Silas said, blushing bright red. Silas pulled her head closer to his, and kissed the top of her forehead. "I will be here." Silas said, letting go of her hand and wrapping his own around her waist, turning into Sierra and holding her close to him. "I will never leave, I will stay with you always, and I will love you forever. Death itself won't keep me from you." Silas felt a single tear form in his eye. This moment, this beautiful moment, would stay with him for the rest of his life.

Sierra wiped away the tear forming in Silas's eye. "So will I." she said, leaning closer to him. She let their lips meet, Silas blushed again, but quickly closed his eyes and felt himself relax his entire body. All his worked up tension seemed to fade away. Silas felt her fingers release his hand and slide into his hair, tangling into it. Her other hand rested on his thigh, he left one hand around her waist, but the other moved its way up to her head, brushing her hair behind one ear, then finding its place on the back of her head. Silas forgot to breath for a moment. They stopped after what seemed an eternity for much needed air. Silas caught her gave and chuckled, then wrapped his arm around her head, placing her head in his chest. He kissed the top of her forehead and snuggled into her, their bodies like two perfect halves, fit together into a single whole. "This is the best day of my entire life." Silas whispered. "As long as I live, I will never forget this." After a while, Silas's eyes began to feel heavy. "Sleepy..." he said, trailing off and finally falling asleep. A smile still on his face. He breathes heavily, but it's not snoring, and it's not overly loud. It's steady and almost rhythmic.

Silas was having a nightmare. His body twitched every so often, his face contorted into a look of anguish, clearly upset by the happenings of his dream. This nightmare, however, was different from his usual ones. Bane wasn't tormenting him with the horrible visions of him torturing Silas's friends. This dream was different. Silas couldn't feel Bane's presence anywhere. Instead, Silas stood still amidst a scene of whirling chaos.

The sound of gunfire filled the air, its harsh percussive snap attempting to silence the world around him. Bodies lay scattered about the ground, the dead were so numerous, Silas wasn't even standing on grass. Silas looked down in horror to see himself standing atop a huge mound of corpses, their blood soaking into his shoes. Silas whipped out his wand and used a levitation spell to jump off of the pile and get away from the veritable hill of corpses. Looking around, Silas saw Sierra. "Sierra! I'm over here! Where are we? What's happening?" Silas called to her, but she didn't respond. She was sitting on the ground next to several bodies. Her arms were wrapped around her knees, and her legs were drawn up into her chest. Silas ran over to her, he knelt down next to her, feeling fresh blood soak into his pants. As he approached her, he could instantly tell something was wrong. She was muttering to herself, her eyes were blankly staring into nothingness, and her sword lay next to her on the ground, it's usual sheen gone. "Hey, this is no place for us, let's get out of here." She didn't respond. Silas reached up and placed his hand on her shoulder. As his hand touched her, she smacked it away, screaming, and crawled away from him as quickly as she could. "No!" She screamed, obviously horrified of Silas. Tears started to form in Silas's eyes. "What's wrong?" He said, barely able to hold back his tears, "it's just me. There's nothing to worry about. It's just me." "I know who you are!" She said, hysterical, and beginning to sob, tears running down her face. "Now get away! Don't you ever come near me again!" Silas felt his heart shatter. "W-what?" Silas asked, almost too shocked for words. "Why? What's..." Silas trailed off, he'd finally noticed the faces of the bodies lying next to Sierra. Firvin, Riley, Timber, Ouka, the burnt, ashen form of Revion, Shard, Asher, Kalin, Magiere, Ayla, Stelian, and Daine. Everyone from the Facility, even the people he'd just recently met. They were all dead. "Oh my..." Silas said, his knees finally giving, his hands flying up to cover his mouth. "What happened?" He asked, anguished. Sierra didn't respond, she only glared at him. That's when Silas felt it. A warm something was on his hands. Looking down, Silas screamed in horror. It was blood.

Silas woke with a start. He was breathing heavily and there was a thin film of sweat across his brow. Silas carefully got out of bed, trying not to wake the still sleeping Sierra and made his way to her bathroom. Silas turned on the cold water and ran it over his face. He felt his body snap awake. Reaching over, Silas grabbed a towel from Sierra's towel rack and dried himself off. "It was just a dream." He said. "That's where you're wrong." Silas heard himself say. Like smoke being poured into existance, Silas looked up with horror into the golden eyes of Bane. "What do you mean Bane?" Silas whispered. "What I have shown you, Cry-las, is a vision." Silas felt himself gasp. "What? What do you mean?" "Exactly what I said. That was a vision. If you don't shape up, you won't be able to protect them, and when that happens, when you fail, I will kill them myself." "Get out out of here!" Silas yelled at Bane. "There's no way I'll let that happen." "Easy little boy, all in good time. As it is now, I'm just a messenger. I'm on my way out, but take my words to heart Silas," Bane said, using Silas's real name for the first time for as long as Silas could remember, "bad things are coming. Things that will make me look like your very best friend. Don't say I didn't warn you." Then, as suddenly as be came, Bane was gone. Silas, visibly shaken, walked out into Sierra's room, sat down on the floor, and grabbed Tibbers from his bag, holding him close to his body.

Silas was still sitting on the floor when he heard a... rumbling... in the distance. It shook his whole body and filled his head with worry. "What on earth was that?" Silas whispered. He got back up, about to walk into Sierra's room, still holding onto Tibbers when he heard a scream. "Sierra," Silas whispered, dreading what could have happened to her. What if it was the rumbling? What should he do? There wasn't any time to go get some help, so Silas charged into her room, "What is it?" Silas asked her, barreling through the door and into her room, Tibbers still clutched in his hand. "What's wrong Sierra?"

As Silas looked at her, it was obviously she was shaken. The rumbling perhaps, or... she had been sleeping. Did she have a nightmare too? Silas relaxed his tense body, his entire being had been full of nervous energy. However, Sierra was ok, no one was hurt yet, everything would be ok. Silas let out a long exhale. It wasn't a sigh, it was more of a release of pent up energy. Silas walked over to Sierra's bed and put his arm around her shoulder, pulling her close to him and kissing the top of her forehead. "It's ok now. I'm here. No one is hurt. Everything will be fine. I promise. I'll protect you." Silas said reassuringly. Though he himself was scared to death, the rumbling still hadn't been properly explained, but he needed to stay strong for her. Tibbers was still in his hand, he placed him on her bed and threw his other arm around her, holding her tightly. "Everything is going to be alright. I promise."

Sierra relaxed slightly, her shoulders drooping a little and her tension slowly releasing. "Thank you Silas. Thank you for being mine." She whispered into him. Her tears stopped and she shuddered, probably remembering her nightmare. "It's ok. Besides, who else would I belong to? Who else would I love as much as you?" Silas said, smiling. He held her apart from him for a moment so he could look her in the eyes. "There's no one who compares, you're the only one for me." He said with a smile, then pulled her close to him again, hugging her tight and kissing her again. "Come on, we need to go now. There was that strange rumbling, and I get the feeling we should go to the lobby. We should make sure everyone's ok and that no one is hurt. We're needed. Come on." Silas said, letting go of her just long enough to put Tibbers in his bag, grab all his supplies, then taking her by the hand and leading her out to the lobby.

Silas was holding Sierra's hand. The pair were still walking to the lobby when Sierra stopped for a moment. She pulled on Silas's shirt. Silas turned around. There was something she had to tell him. Sierra looked up, into Silas eyes. Silas was slightly shocked to find them turning from blue to silver with a swirl of brown in them. She seemed to be worried about something, but there was something else in her eyes, something Silas didn't quite recognize. It was like the same something he saw whenever she went to kiss him but... hungrier. It was strange, but Silas didn't care. He loved everything about Sierra, especially her beautiful, color-changing eyes. She fidgeted a moment before she spoke, "Silas you may not know this but I do not age, I am stuck like this forever. Not quite dead not quite alive. One day I will lose you, I don't want to but I will. I hope we can spend every moment of your existence together." She said softly, her voice also full of that same something that was in her eyes, if that made any sense. "There are many things you don't know about me, things that if you ask I will tell you, you can ask anything..." Silas only smiled. "I figured. I can't live forever, and trying would only make you sadder, as I become more and more debilitated while you remain young and beautiful forever. I don't care. I will stay with you. I will be right here, for you and you alone, until the day that I die." Silas said, gazing deeply into her eyes. "I have lots of questions, but they can wait. We need to go to the lobby, we have to make sure everyone's ok. Alright?" Silas asked, taking her by the hand once more. If she needed to talk, he could stay and talk with her. He could tell something was very wrong. She was suspiciously quiet, where she normally would have been much more authoritative and energetic.

Finally, after much coaxing, kisses, hugs, and reassurances that Sierra would be ok, Silas managed to get her to come with him out into the lobby. WHen they finally got there, Silas was shocked at what he saw. Firvin had, apparently, just arrived in the main lobby. Further, he was... HOLDING HANDS WITH RILEY? 'Whoa...' Silas thought. 'Is everyone pairing up?' He was shocked. He thought the pair of them liked each other, he never expected it to have happened so suddenly. There were a few new faces, but Magiere was there, Stelian too, Ouka the white wolf, Timber, Shard, and Kalin were all there as well. SIlas looked around, slightly confused. The mood in the air was strange, like everyone was on edge. Then Firvin spoke, still holding hands with Riley. He was so confident, so poised, so ready to do what needed to be done. Silas was shocked. To see the normally jokester Firvin take on such a dramatic personality change, what could have sparked it? Glancing between him and Riley, Silas put two and two together. Riley was going because she owed the government and Firvin would go to protect her.

Silas was terrified, literally shaking in his boots. War? With real people? It was so different from the practice dummies in the Witch's spell room. Silas didn't know what to do. On one hand, how could he stand by and let others fight to defend him with their lives on the line and do nothing. He couldn't, he'd have to fight. But then again, how could he snuff out another person's life? How could he possibly kill someone? Silas was so distraught, he felt like he was being pulled apart. He felt the need to protect his friends, but could he end another's life to do so? He sidled closer to Sierra. "I don't like this." He said quietly, squeezing her hand. Finally, after a few more encouraging and empowering words, Firvin finished his speech. Silas was impressed. Despite his own reservations, he couldn't help but respect Firvin's confidence and preparedness. Silas was enamored with him, the way he stood tall, the way he called for action. It was breathtaking to scared little Silas. Was Firvin such a presence this whole time?

At that, a line formed, most everybody was agreeing to help. Silas shrunk back. He couldn't, how could he? The only one who had ever hurt anyone was Bane. Silas wouldn't hurt a fly. Bane was always the one pushing Silas, he was even doing it now, raging against Silas's barriers, trying to make him fight. Silas swallowed hard, sweat was beginning to form on his face. Bane was raging against him, fighting for dominance with every fiber of his being. Silas held him back with sheer force of will alone. 'Go away Bane. I won't let you hurt people.' Silas yelled at Bane, scolding him in their mind. 'Come on you wuss, those people are evil, they're attacking your home Silas, your HOME. Doesn't that mean anything to you?' Silas couldn't think of anything to say. Bane was right, but a life was still a life. Who was he to decide who should live and who should die? That was when he heard Sierra speak up.

"I will fight to protect my brothers and sisters, I will speak to my lord and ask him for help. The humans have got themselves into a mess... again. I suppose they should learn who really are the more powerful race." Silas felt his heart shatter. How could he stay home while his Sierra, his darling, sweet Sierra went off to war. What would he do, stay home? Watch the Facility till they got back? How could he possibly be content staying home while everyone he loved fought to protect each other. Silas felt his hand squeeze around his wand, whose tip shimmered for a moment in response to Silas's fighting spirit. Silas walked up to Firvin, his hand clecnhed tight around the handle of his wand. "I-I'll go too. I have to protect you. Besides, if Bane gives us that much trouble, imagine how much he'll give to our enemies." Silas said, fumbling at first, then slowly gaining confidence as he spoke.

As the members of the Facility stood and confirmed their agreement to join in the fight Riely looked up at Firvin and nodded. "Very well then. If everyone will take a seat at the main table I will begin the briefing." Once everyone had sat down Riely took her position at the head of the table. Taking a deep breath she steadied herself for what she was about to say. "We have been given three different missions each one playing into different strengths of our members." After another breath and an encouraging look from Firvin she continued. "The first mission focuses on stealth in Tokyo, Japan. This task would be best suited to our spell casters. The mission is to capture a High Value Target hiding somewhere within the city. No other information is given other than the target's name and this photo. I will be going with this group. Any who wish to follow with me wait here at the end of the meeting." She looked around trying to gauge the reaction of everyone.

"The second mission is best suited for our weres. It is an ambush in the deep forest of Brazil. It give a location and a description of the targets. After the ambush you are to search the area and destroy any remaining forces. Those interested in this mission will be meeting in the dining hall after the meeting. Timber I hope you can take the charge of this one." Again looking to gauge the reactions she took another deep breath and continued.

"The third mission is best suited for the Vampires or other night based creatures. It is a search and destroy/capture mission in an elaborate tunnel system under Central China. The mission is to clear the tunnel of any enemy forces and to destroy or capture any technology or weaponry. Those interested in this mission meet in the basement conference room." Having given out all of the missions Riely let out a sigh of relief. 'That was easier than I thought it would be. "I can't thank you all enough for agreeing to help with this war. If we do our part we will be rewarded. Watch each other's backs I want to see everyone returning in one piece. Now everyone go to the meeting area of your wanted mission. Decide on a leader and prepare to move. We leave tomorrow morning. Good luck everyone." With that Riely sat, more of collapsed, into her chair watching as everyone went to their meeting areas.

(OOC: You do not have to go on the suggested mission if you would rather do a different one show up to that meeting. However try to keep the teams even.)

Magiere remained focused listening to the missions, she could be suited to the jungle mission but when she heard about the mission in China she knew she would perfect. She stood and headed towards the basement conference room. In a situation like war she would need to be at her best, and she couldn't do it without feeding, but ... who was she close enough to, to feed on. Taking advantage of an innocent would be unforgivable. Furthermore since they were attempting to be stealthy in the tunnel system she could not guarantee an enemy to feed on. Her mind suddenly shot towards Stelian, he would probably offer her his blood if she asked, as he had done it before. She declined because it was an intimate act, surely he would not judge her for asking for his blood in such a dire situation. She thought through all of this as she walked to the basement conference room. It will probably be just the three of us down there, oh and Ayla, how could I forget about her. She will probably invaluable in the tunnels her sense of smile guiding us to our targets. I'll have to be sure to mention that during our briefing. She was first to arrive in the conference room and she took a seat at the table and awaited the others.

Firvin sat next to Riley as she gave a brief description of the 3 missions to those who had agreed to fight, occasionally giving her a reassuring look. Once she finished he began to speak "Riley, I know it's now where I fit best, but I will be going with you on the first mission ..." He paused slightly as Silas made eye contact with him, he did not say anything but his look said it all "Dude, go where you fit, Riley is a powerful caster she can handle herself". Firvin understood the message and responded "On second though I think I'll go with the weres to the forests of Brazil, my unique bond with nature is too valuable to ignored for my own personal preference. I will lead the mission and we will come back in one piece, I can promise I'll do all I can to ensure that." He said. And with that he stood and left the room on his way to the dining hall. He looked back for just a second making eye contact with Riley. Looking in her eyes, he knew she would be safe. He was first to arrive in the Dining Hall. He sat at the head of the table and began looking over the briefing materials. So he would be prepared for the meeting.
