Riley consoled him, 'And I for you' She whispered as she hugged him tight. She wished for the war to be a horrible dream not reality, but if the war were a dream so would her life with Firvin and she wished for that not to happen. 'They didnt mean to treat us like animals, they were scared of us. Humans had never encountered such beings before. Beings that were more superior both mentaly and physically.' She finishes softly. she wasnt siding with humans just stating the facts.

Sierra felt the bomb shake her whilst she was asleep,
'Silas' She called through the rubble. She ducked as the building began to crumble, the walls came crashing down sending dusk everywhere. She coughed and rubbed her eyes, The sun was invisible in the sky. The light to the city was dim and almost non-existant. A scream escaped her parted lips but it only echoed, bouncing off the walls into nowhere. A silvery tear rolled down her cheek clearing a path through the dust that lay there.

'Silas' She called again her Throat sore and dry. No reply came as Sierra ran, she ducked under things and climbed to the highest point she could reach. The building was crumbling and dangerous but Sierra knew she was already dead, she must be because even if she wasnt she would rather be then without Silas. Sierra jumped her feet left the bricks and she spread her arms. She hoped for a quick end but she knew it wasnt possible. she scrunched her eyes and consentrated on his face.

She recognised him. The wings that mirrored hers, the black hair, blazing red eyes and the casual clothes. 'Lucifer!' she exclaimed as they landed. He bowed to her, 'Dearest Sierra, what on earth are you doing jumping off a building?' Sierra held back a giggle, 'I have lost my true love, i fear he is dead.' Lucifer didnt mask the hurt in his eyes. 'I must help you find him immediatly.' he declares offering her his arm. She slides her arm into his. Lucifer leads her to a park that on anyother day she would walk past. 'I must leave you now Sierra, I am sure you will find your way, but be warned. You may not Like what you see.' Lucifer turned and was gone.

Sierra turned to the park and walked in. She noticed the trail of footprints immediatly, they belonged to Silas, of that she was sure. She followed them until she came to a mound, she looked closer and saw the bodies of the people she knew, Timber, Riley, Shard, Kalin, Firvin, Ouka, Asher, Daine and everyone else. She looked up to the top and sat Sila's body, it lay there lifeless and limp. Silas didnt do this neither did her friends that left one being, Bane. He had finally found his own body.

Sierra shot up, she looked to her side but she found Silas not there. She scanned the room but he was missing. She opened her mouth and another scream escaped her lips.

She fell to the ground, Stelian's attack interrupted her own Dammit, I got impatient again . He helps her up offering her his hand, which she graciously accepts "A good fight though you need to be more patient wait for your opponent to give you an opening don't make one for them" He smiles at her handing her swords back to her. He walks over to the bench and replaces his hat on his head before sitting and motioning for her to join him. She thinks for a moment glancing at Ayla who was still nervous "Relax, I'm fine" she said and Ayla instantly calmed. She sheaths her sword and replaces her falchion on her hip. She sits down next to him. "For one so young your master of the blade is unmatched. If I hadn't been so much faster you'd have gutted me in an instant" He said to her with a smile. "Well thank you, I have worked hard to be the best, most vampires are from an older time and it's easier to kill them if you can beat them with a sword." She said with a smile. Just then Ayla walked over and sat at Magiere's feet. "So, tell me. What is your story? How did you get noticed enough to be sentenced here?" He asks her a little intrusively. Magiere reached down and began to pet Ayla's fur. "Well, I was simply minding my own business, hunting and killing every vampire I could find, when the government found me, turns out that even though aren't fond of vampires, they don't like it when someone kills so many of them, makes the public think the problem is bigger than they want them to know. How about you?" she asked him hoping for a reply, but before she could get one Ayla jumped to attention and began to bark, then the entire facility began to shake, it felt as if a bomb had exploded not far from here. "What was that?" Magiere said she knew that there was war across the sea but she hadn't heard anything about fighting nearby.

"And I for you" Riley whispered almost mutely again, hugging Firvin, tighter than before, Firvin couldn't see but he was all but sure there were tears in her eyes. "They didn't mean to treat us like animals, they were scared of us. Humans had never encountered such beings before. Beings that were more superior both mentally and physically." she said, her voice wavering, she didn't seem to be defending them. "I can not condone their actions, and I will not support a government that can not accept us for what we are, none of our kind have done anything to harm them, at least not until they tried to lock us up. I will fight but only to protect you, Silas, Sierra, and the others here. The government and their troops are on their own, they must defend themselves and I will not go on the offensive unless I need to, to keep you safe. Those are my terms. Now, I know how hard it was for you tell me this, but we must tell everyone, and I will stand by your side when you do. I....I love you Riley" Firvin's speech was filled with emotion and pain, a single tear fell down his face when he told Riley he loved her. He breathed deep holding her tighter, he kissed her forehead as he held her head gently to his chest. As he was holding her, he willed a plant from his room to grow, it extended its vines towards him and without looking he plucked a single rose from it before sending it back into his room, when he and Riley finally separated he handed her the rose which to her would appear to have come from no where. "Almost as beautiful as you, isn't it?" He said offering her a smile, hoping she would smile back before they went to deliver the bad news.

"Well, I was simply minding my own business, hunting and killing every vampire I could find, when the government found me, turns out that even though aren't fond of vampires, they don't like it when someone kills so many of them, makes the public think the problem is bigger than they want them to know. How about you?" Before Stelian could offer an answer a deep rattle shakes the facility. "I think we should head to the main hall I have a feeling something big is happening." Stelian quickly darts around the room collecting all of his knives and other utensils. Once he finishes he holds his hand out to help Magiere up again. "I'll tell my story as we walk." They begin walking to the main entry hall after a few steps Stelian begins. "I was an experiment by the Vampire Council. I woke one day still human bound to a table with multiple creatures standing around me. After a moment I was able to understand what they were saying. I was to be the first of many. The strongest vampire ever born i would be the beginning of the vampire's escalation. The next time I awoke I was different. I'd awoken as a vampire. I was instantly subjected tests and tortures that would kill any normal vampire. Through my howls I was able to hear them say that they would begin giving the improved venom to the other humans they had captured... That night I broke my bonds. I escaped and took the venom with me and destroyed all of their research. I have been killing vampires for over 100 years. The council constantly sent tracking units after me. I killed every one of them. Drank all of their blood and learned everything that they knew. I know where the council is and I know how to destroy them." A subtle fire was burning in Stelian's eyes. "I was approached by the government and offered their protection by moving to this "Facility X" I had nothing better to do and a little rest was welcome. Plus I believed that I would be able to find some allies to help me in my quest to end the council." He stops in the hallway looking into Magiere's eyes. "I know you will deny this offer but, I still have the improved venom. If you wished I have enough to make you a full Day-walker. I offer only because I feel I can trust you and that you would be a worthy ally in my quest."

"I think we should head to the main hall I have a feeling something big is happening." Stelian ran around the room picking up his things before offering to help Magiere up. She takes his hand and stands. She looks down to Ayla who had begun to snarl but she instantly stopped. "I'll tell my story as we walk." Stelian begins his story as they walk towards the main hall. Ayla walks in between Stelian and Magiere almost as if to separate them. Magiere couldn't contain a gasp, she thought she hated her curse, but his was just as bad. He's not a bad guy, I can trust him. "That night I broke my bonds. I escaped and took the venom with me and destroyed all of their research. I have been killing vampires for over 100 years. The council constantly sent tracking units after me. I killed every one of them. Drank all of their blood and learned everything that they knew. I know where the council is and I know how to destroy them. I was approached by the government and offered their protection by moving to this "Facility X" I had nothing better to do and a little rest was welcome. Plus I believed that I would be able to find some allies to help me in my quest to end the council." 100 years, he must've killed nearly as many vampires as I have. Stelian looks into Magiere's eyes, his own filled with determination "I know you will deny this offer but, I still have the improved venom. If you wished I have enough to make you a full Day-walker. I offer only because I feel I can trust you and that you would be a worthy ally in my quest." She hesitates for a minute, His offer would strengthen me, but at the cost of all I hold dear, I have to deny, plus I don't need that, some blood and I'm good she thinks considering his offer. "You were right, I'll have to pass. I'm strong enough to kill any vampire I need to. And if you help me to find my father, I will help you with the council." She says her voice filled with confidence. She looks at Stelian I never noticed just how handsome he is as she thinks she can't help but a let a smile escape her lips, as soon as she smiles Ayla notices and changes to stand on Ayla's other side, allowing Stelian to walk next Magiere.

As Ayla moves Stelian steps slightly closer to Magiere. "I understand. As to helping you with your father I have only one price for that. You have to tell me your story. What happened how did you get here. I have to understand you. Because as much as you hate it your father is part of who you are he will be reflected in who you are. Not that you will be like him the opposite is much more likely. But I have to learn about him so that I can begin thinking of where he would be. I know the location of many vampires and as much as I dislike them not all of them are bad. Many were forced into this like I was they need not come to harm." He steps off continuing through the halls towards their destination. 'Maybe this one is different. She denied power for her morals. She may be even stronger than I am in that sense. Maybe I can really trust this one.' A smile shows on Stelian's face as they walk the first true smile he has had in many years.

Magiere sees Stelian smile, not a smirk, not a grin, but a genuine smile. She pauses for a minute and then tells him about her father "As I'm sure you have gathered, my father was vampire. He and my mother fell in love, and eventually married. Upon discovering that my mother was pregnant he left, never to return. My mother died giving birth, and I was left with my aunt. On my 14th birthday my aunt gave me a package containing my falchion, and my armor. She said my father left it for me, though I don't know why. When I turned 16 I left, I've been hunting vampires ever since. Hoping to find my father so I can kill him too." She paused to breathe not realizing how angry she had become as she related the events of her life. "I was cursed with this horrible existence, half human, half monster, I can't stand to think that anyone else might be, that is why I do what I do." She finishes speaking just as they arrive at the main hall. "Weird I don't see anyone, but I could have sworn something just shook the whole facility."

"YOU'RE 20 TOMORROW, SHARD!!" Yells Kalin as she runs behind Shard and jumps on his back. "Oh, man, you are getting old! 2-0, can you believe it? Okay, I got something for ya!" Kalin looks at his head and makes his brain thinks it smells like citrus. "Can you smell it?"

Silas was still sitting on the floor when he heard a... rumbling... in the distance. It shook his whole body and filled his head with worry. "What on earth was that?" Silas whispered. He got back up, about to walk into Sierra's room, still holding onto Tibbers when he heard a scream. "Sierra," Silas whispered, dreading what could have happened to her. What if it was the rumbling? What should he do? There wasn't any time to go get some help, so Silas charged into her room, "What is it?" Silas asked her, barreling through the door and into her room, Tibbers still clutched in his hand. "What's wrong Sierra?"

As Silas looked at her, it was obviously she was shaken. The rumbling perhaps, or... she had been sleeping. Did she have a nightmare too? Silas relaxed his tense body, his entire being had been full of nervous energy. However, Sierra was ok, no one was hurt yet, everything would be ok. Silas let out a long exhale. It wasn't a sigh, it was more of a release of pent up energy. Silas walked over to Sierra's bed and put his arm around her shoulder, pulling her close to him and kissing the top of her forehead. "It's ok now. I'm here. No one is hurt. Everything will be fine. I promise. I'll protect you." Silas said reassuringly. Though he himself was scared to death, the rumbling still hadn't been properly explained, but he needed to stay strong for her. Tibbers was still in his hand, he placed him on her bed and threw his other arm around her, holding her tightly. "Everything is going to be alright. I promise."

After hearing Magiere's story Stelian pauses. "Well something did shake the facility and the others will be coming eventually we just have to wait." He takes a seat at the bar and orders a coffee. "We may as well sit here and wait for them to arrive." He looks off into the distance thinking and after a few minutes. "Our two quests may very well be one and the same. I believe that we will be able to find your father with the council. He is one of their members the second or third in command." A few moments later. "And not all vampires are monsters. You may think us to be but many have chosen to go into hiding and not pass on the virus to the humans. I just ask that you keep this in mind." After this Stelian falls silent waiting and listening to the sounds of the facility waiting for the inevitable meeting. For the time he enjoys his coffee and his company.

"God! I smell orange! Did you turn my brain to orange?" He askes. "I know im an old man!" he bends over and pretends to have a walking stick.

Stelian asked Magiere to be aware that most vampires don't want their life, or curse, but she was unaffected "I'm sorry but so long as they are capable of infecting, they are capable of spreading the curse, no one deserves what I lived through, what you lived through. All who are capable of passing the virus on, if I cannot be convinced of their self control then they are a threat. I hate to be so black and white but it's a life I wouldn't wish on anyone." she pauses a minute feeling bad for ruining their enjoyable time. "But enough about that, let's just focus on figuring out how we are going to destroy the council, do you know where they are? Do you know who they all are?" she asked him hoping he had an answer. Just then the entire facility shook even more violently than before, the explosion they heard was significantly louder as well, Magiere was surprised no windows had broken. She turned to the barkeep and ordered a coffee, she was gonna need the caffeine. Magiere reached her hand down and began to pet Ayla but she found that she wasn't at her feet. Magiere looked around and found Ayla with her fur standing on edge her face contorted in a violent snarl. There was no enemy nearby, Magiere rushed over to Ayla "What's wrong there is no one here!" she screamed hoping to calm the usually composed wolf down. Eventually Ayla relaxes and Magiere returns to Stelian with Ayla following in step.

Sierra relaxed slightly, 'thank you Silas thank you for being mine.' She whispered into him. Her tears stopped and she shuddered at the thought of the nightmare. He was here though and everything would be okay. Hopefully.

Sierra relaxed slightly, her shoulders drooping a little and her tension slowly releasing. "Thank you Silas. Thank you for being mine." She whispered into him. Her tears stopped and she shuddered, probably remembering her nightmare. "It's ok. Besides, who else would I belong to? Who else would I love as much as you?" Silas said, smiling. He held her apart from him for a moment so he could look her in the eyes. "There's no one who compares, you're the only one for me." He said with a smile, then pulled her close to him again, hugging her tight and kissing her again. "Come on, we need to go now. There was that strange rumbling, and I get the feeling we should go to the lobby. We should make sure everyone's ok and that no one is hurt. We're needed. Come on." Silas said, letting go of her just long enough to put Tibbers in his bag, grab all his supplies, then taking her by the hand and leading her out to the lobby.

A woman walked into the lobby looking around for someone. "Hello?" she called not to loudly, she set her bag down beside her. She wore a black dress it had hints of Victorian with a modern twist, her hair flowed around her shoulders. there was an air of excitement about her, that was shown plainly in the way she smiled.

Kalin sees a woman in the lobby. She walks up to the lady. "Hello. I'm Kalin. What's your name?" Kalin looks the woman up and down. Kalin thinks,She has weird clothes....they're really old looking. Kalin looks at her jeans and t-shirt. Maybe my clothes are just bad... She looks at her. "Okay. Verification. Name. Age. Species."

"Greetings, my name is Deidre Sangrey. One should never ask a lady her age," she pretended to be stern but gave a wink to let the child know she was playing."and for my species, I am a vampire my dear." Deidre gave a small courtesy. Noticing Kalin looking over her wardrobe and then back at her own, "My style is slightly out of date compared to the more modern fashion." she explained, "May I ask your own verification?" Deidre asked politely.

Stelian looked up as another entered the Lobby. The woman was clearly a vampire. Her aged choice of clothing demonstrated that well enough. Looking at his partner he says. "Well Magiere it seems that there is another vampire coming to join us. I do wonder what her ideas will be... No doubt we will run into her in the training room at some point. Unless you believe we should go introduce ourselves." He smiles waiting for Magiere's reply noticing that Alya is sitting at attention obviously detecting their new room mate.

Stelian smiled at her before speaking "Well Magiere it seems that there is another vampire coming to join us. I do wonder what her ideas will be... No doubt we will run into her in the training room at some point. Unless you believe we should go introduce ourselves." he said his voice relaxed. Magiere glanced down at Ayla giving her a look that the wolf instinctively knew meant to be calm but cautious. "Let us go introduce ourselves, The others aren't here yet and the bombing seems to have stopped, temporarily at least" she said as she stood and walked over to the knew Kalin and the woman. "Hello Kalin, how are you? Not being nosy are you?" She said smiling at the child. Before turning to the new vampire. "I am Magiere, and this is Ayla" she said motioning to the wolf. "And this devilishly handsome man is Stelian." As I am sure you can tell, He is a vampire, my origins are a bit harder to decipher but I am a dhampir, you are obviously also a vampire" Ayla and I could recognize that scent anywhere. she thought. Ayla began to snarl again and Magiere shot her a dirty look "Relax, there is no threat here!" She snapped at her companion. She smiled back at Kalin and the new vampire awaiting a reply, and hoping that Stelian would not be offended that she had introduced him.

Deidre looked at Magiere and her wolf, "Greetings, my name is Deidre and you would be accurate in your deduction." she smiled flashing her sharp pointed teeth. "A dhampir, my I haven't seen one in ages! and your friend...Stelian? He's not a normal vampire is he?" his scent was slightly different than most male vampires. Waiting for the dhampir to respond, Deidre looked down at the wolf and held out a hand so that the dog would know she wasn't a threat. Deidre was extremely happy to have found other vampires that seemed to friendly.

Stelian smiled as Magiere introduced him. As Deidre introduced herself Stealian had to hold back a bit of surprise. She could tell that he wasn't a true vampire. The fact that she could tell that only made him smile more. 'The creatures gathering here are certainly more powerful than most. Most vampires wouldn't be able to detect the different scent.' As she introduced herself to Alya Stelian decided to tell her. Once Alya had gotten used to her scent he bowed to her. "As my friend said I am Stelian. And you were quite correct in your statement. I am not a normal vampire. I'm what I have decided to call a Daywalker. I am very pleased to meet you." He stood and smiled again trying to gauge her reaction to what he had told her.

Riley's fingers curled gingerly around the rosé, the petal felt soft. 'I love you Firvin so much.' She whispered curling into his side. She breathed in his earthy scent and felt her body relax slightly. 'I d want to live in fear any longer. I want to live with you, but that cannot happen unless we put an end to this petty human war.' She began to cry but no tears fall just dry heaves. 'We had better go down to tell them then-' she started to confess, '- only if you do it with me.' She bargained. Slowly she rose to her feet.she stood in front of her lover and cupped his face with one hand. Slowly she brang his lips to hers and they kissed. Her heart speed up as her breathing became rapid, her free hand found the small of his back and she geared handfuls of fabric. 'I know we need to save the world but I wish we could do that some other time.' She confessed once she came up for air.

Sierra looked into Silas eyes, they showed everything she had ever wanted. They portrayed every emotiOn she was feeling Lust, need, love, ha he knew that one day she could lose all that and it pained her. One day her sweet Silas would die or grow bored of her. 'Silas you may not know this but I do not age, I am stuck like this forever. Not quite dead not quite alive. One day I will lose you, I don't want to but I will. I hope we can spend every moment of you existence together.' She said softly her voice also full of lust. She was holding back now, restaining herself. Even such proximity to him made her "hungry". Her eyes would be silver with a swirl of brown if the emotion was true. She so hoped it was and that he felt the same. 'There are many things you don't know about me, things that if you ask I will tell you, you can ask anything...'

Silas was holding Sierra's hand. The pair were still walking to the lobby when Sierra stopped for a moment. She pulled on Silas's shirt. Silas turned around. There was something she had to tell him. Sierra looked up, into Silas eyes. Silas was slightly shocked to find them turning from blue to silver with a swirl of brown in them. She seemed to be worried about something, but there was something else in her eyes, something Silas didn't quite recognize. It was like the same something he saw whenever she went to kiss him but... hungrier. It was strange, but Silas didn't care. He loved everything about Sierra, especially her beautiful, color-changing eyes. She fidgeted a moment before she spoke, "Silas you may not know this but I do not age, I am stuck like this forever. Not quite dead not quite alive. One day I will lose you, I don't want to but I will. I hope we can spend every moment of your existence together." She said softly, her voice also full of that same something that was in her eyes, if that made any sense. "There are many things you don't know about me, things that if you ask I will tell you, you can ask anything..." Silas only smiled. "I figured. I can't live forever, and trying would only make you sadder, as I become more and more debilitated while you remain young and beautiful forever. I don't care. I will stay with you. I will be right here, for you and you alone, until the day that I die." Silas said, gazing deeply into her eyes. "I have lots of questions, but they can wait. We need to go to the lobby, we have to make sure everyone's ok. Alright?" Silas asked, taking her by the hand once more. If she needed to talk, he could stay and talk with her. He could tell something was very wrong. She was suspiciously quiet, where she normally would have been much more authoritative and energetic.

"My name is Kalin. I'm 14. I'm a demon." Kalin replied to Deidre. "I gotta go now." Kalin looks at Shard. "You silly willy! I think we have lunch now, Shard. I can smell it. Wanna eat with me?"

Deidre nodded a good bye to the young demon. Then turned her attention back to the dhampir and the daywalker, "My what a rare mix you are sir. However did you come to be?" she asked honestly interested. She had met some interesting people on her travels but never a day walking vampire, that definitely explained the difference in his scent. Deidre also noticed the fact that everyone she had met so far had been in pairs, Kalin with Shard and Stelian with Magiere. 'Does everyone travel in two's here?' she thought to herself.
