He's so obsessed with the gossip and interesting things that happen almost constantly all around him that the thought of leaving it all behind and never being able to see any of it ever again greatly disturbs him. It's plenty enough to keep him going.

-Description: A good way of describing Drake’s looks would be something between a pretty boy and a cynical-looking bad boy. His auburn-colored hair is neck-length, hanging straight with just the slightest bit of a wave to it. He’s tall for his age, which gives him the advantage of looming threateningly over others, so he’s not exactly complaining; although, unfortunately, he doesn’t happen to be the most buff looking guy around. He’s definitely not scrawny in any way and he does have enough muscle tone to make an impression, but he would probably lose in a fight against a brick wall. Drake’s skin is just lightly tanned, but he doesn’t get out as much as he’d like, so the paleness is still a bit definitive. He has this slight slant to his eyes that give the gleam of mischief all the more mystery.

When it comes to clothing, Drake prefers to dress the part of some cool-kid bad boy. He doesn’t totally act that way accordingly, but he enjoys the style. Even more than that, he happens to have a thing for dragons and fire-breathing creatures, whether they exist or not, so he reflects his interest in them with the tattoos he has on his back and arm. The ace card is just something extra. It suits him. Now, onto his wings. They’re long and beautiful, reaching out further than the tips of his fingers. He adores them the most out of anything else on his body and you can always tell he’s absolutely serious about something (which is rare) when he says ‘I bet my wings on it’ or something along that line. Finally, the most notable thing about Drake is his ever-present smirk; always playing on his lips, always hiding secrets.


MENTALITY
”Why, I‘m just as sane as the next guy.”
-Quirks: Drake doesn’t really have all that many quirks. He tends to have a minor obsession with keeping things neat and clean, though. It doesn’t really bother him usually, but if he’s bored, he’ll begin moving things into their place until he deems it perfectly centered.
-Fears: He fears anyone learning anything personal about him. By personal, I mean anything deeper than his name and his race. He also fears losing contact with the world or falling into the chaos that he oh-so-enjoys overlooking, but never being apart of. He doesn’t consider himself a player in the ‘game.’ He fears becoming just another pawn.

-Personality: To describe Drake accurately in one word, would be to simply call him a troll. He takes enjoyment in the lives of others rather in his own. He's much more interested in others than the things that concern his own life. His favorite hobbies include screwing with others, withholding information, and just generally pissing a lot of people off just to get a few cheap laughs. He enjoys people watching just as much, though. He doesn't always have to interfere with others' lives; watching them ruin their lives on their own accord is always fun too.

Drake isn't really the type to choose sides. He doesn't care for them, really. Picking a side is just so constricting in his mind and he's all about freedom and doing his own thing. Although he claims to be on the side of the Delani, he would also go on to explain that the only reason that is is because of his blood. After all, he didn't choose to be a Delani, just as you don't choose to be born a human, or a Tok'Nowe, or anything else. He believes that all creatures--no matter their race, gender, etc.--are all the same. They are all perfectly unique to themselves, but none are as different as they believe. If that makes any sense.

Another thing about Drake is that he likes to play games. He doesn't exactly like the idea of having the responsibility of being a leader or anything like that, but he does enjoy being in control. He likes to think of things as one, big, entertaining game and everyone involved as the players. He likes to pretend that he's in control of it all; and he might just go out of his way to make someone else believe that, too. He would never directly say it, of course. He's not the type to blatantly lie, but he's definitely not above sketchy misinterpretable information.

Although Drake loves screwing with people just to screw with them, doesn’t mean he hates them. Quite the contrary--he loves everyone. He really does! In a creepy, almost stalkerish sort of way. Seriously. I did say he enjoys watching people. Drake is obsessed with others. The main reason for all of this is because he just doesn’t like himself. He gives off an air of confidence and subtle cockiness and always has a clever little smirk on his face, but that’s just a facade. Deep down, he can’t stand himself or who he is. Of course he knows this makes him a hypocrite, but he would never let anyone close enough to reveal anything this personal about himself. People are lucky to get a name out of him.

-Casual Clothing: Drake's style can be mostly considering something of a 'bad-boy' look. He prefers casual things, but he's not too macho to take care of his looks. He likes to look presentable, but not overly dressy.
-Carried Items: Two of these minor, hidden away draggon daggers. These are used for emergency cases or when he loses his claws for whatever reason. Otherwise, not much else.

•Description/Info: Simple, but effective. They're razor sharp. Many might underestimate him for having a main weapon as something so short-ranged, but that would be their first mistake. The reality is, these babies are all he needs. Sanguine is Latin for "bloodshed."


COMBATIVENESS

-Natural Talents
•Talent 1: Smooth-talking comes naturally to him. It gets him in and out of hazardous, even sticky, situations and his silver-tongue has never failed him before.
•Talent 2: Drake can read lips pretty well. Now, he can't read lips speaking in a different language than the one he knows, but if you speak what he speaks, he can read them pretty well, nearly every word.

-Skills
•Skill 1: His excellent agility. Try to get a swipe at him and he's suddenly behind you or out of reach. It's hard to keep him still when he's in a one-on-one fight; he's doesn't fare badly in a fight with the odds against him, either.
•Skill 2: Drake's wings are not only good for durability, but also for speed. Although they're quite large, they're still flexible and if he needs to get through a tight space for whatever reason, he can.

-Weaknesses
•Weakness 1: Drake is no good at working with others. He prefers watching others from a distance and dealing with them only when he wants to interfere with their lives or, in his words, their 'roles' in the 'game' (life, that is). He's better at working with himself, so team work isn't exactly one of his best fortes. He'd probably be a little off his game in a large group.
•Weakness 2: Although Drake's slick way of speaking can get him out of trouble time and time again, it's also been known to get him into trouble more times than not. His sarcasm gets on peoples' nerves, his dark sense of humor disturbs people, and the way he always talks like he knows everything about people (which, most of the time, he does) or brings up something painful or private in someone's life like it's a casual thing (just to get a reaction) tends to get him attacked.
