Holder Type

Powers
✔ Portals: Can create a portal/multiple portals in battle, to travel, to hide, or just to mess with people.

Using the portals to travel takes a lot of energy, as they cover longer distances. It can also be dangerous if she tries traveling farther than her eyes can see because it's impossible to know where you'll step out to (whether that be open air, enemy territory, or safely in your bedroom).

Using portals to hide is rather simple, as she simply has to open one portal, step into it, and close it. After that, she just has to wait in an empty dimensional space. It uses very little energy.

In battle, the portals are far more useful and deadly than you'd think. For instance, if someone is attacking her with, say, a sword, she can open an entrance portal in front of her and an exit portal in front of her attacker. Technically, the sword's blade would disappear in the portal, and rather than stabbing her, her attacker would stab him/herself instead. In battle, she can also use the portals themselves as weapons. What do you think would happen if half of your arm was still inside a portal when it closed? It would be bye-bye arm, so yeah. Also, in battle, she can use them to dodge or seemingly "teleport" which can be used simply for the said reason, to confuse her opponent(s), or as a tactic or strategy. Using the portals in battle takes more energy than hiding but less energy than travel. It also takes skill, practice, and composure to use portals effectively and safely in battle.

Now, messing with people is simply that and she just does it for fun (obviously). Some examples would be appearing out of nowhere, transporting someone to a random place/to where they just came from, tapping them on the shoulder only for them to find no one behind them when they check, spying, etc. etc. etc. etc.

Weapons
✔ Her holder item is an obsidian puzzle cube. She continuously turns it in her hands pressing and twisting it to access her ability and to place the portals. It's difficult, if not impossible, for others to understand and comprehend. It's puzzling, really.

✔Non-magical throwing knives

Heights: They've always made her feel both free and safe at the same time. It might have something to do with giving her a much wider view, meaning her traveling would have more range and accuracy.
Cats (big and small): She's always loved animals, but cats hold a special place in her heart. There's no real reason. She just adores them.
Sweets: She'll almost always have a piece of candy in her mouth. It helps her concentrate. Plus, she simply has a huge sweet tooth. Tooth aches are common, though she's never had a cavity (yet).
Violence: She finds it both exciting and amusing... Sometimes to a disturbing point. Half of it has to do with her past, and as for the other half, it's just how she's wired. However, she doesn't like when her friends or those she cares about are in pain, and her response towards the cause is, well, pretty violent (whether she's making a threat or carrying one out).
Pranks and such: She loves to test people and see their reactions to different things. She also enjoys sarcasm and dark humor, as well as other types.
Puzzles and such: She loves to connect the dots and figure things out (including people). It's exciting to look at different possibilities and eventually see which one fits where in which situation.

Dislikes
Zeal:Her older brother and a higher up in one of the dark guilds.
Being underground: She doesn't like being in a confined area where her vision is greatly restricted, meaning her traveling is greatly restricted. She can hide, but traveling becomes risky. She's also a bit claustrophobic.
Bitter things: She can't stand bitter anything. If she eats a bitter something, she has to eat, like, a whole cake or bag of candy to make the taste go away... Which isn't really that bad, actually.
Seriousness:Life itself is nothing but a joke to her, so why take it seriously? At least that's what she wants to believe. She hates being serious or being around serious people because it forces her to look at realities she'd rather ignore or forget.
The cold: She's naturally cold all the time (ya know, like those people who always have a cold nose, feet, and hands?). Because of this, she hates cold weather.
Sleeping: Nightmares and memories fill her dreams, so she tries to avoid sleeping, though it's unavoidable.

Physical Description
And in this corner, standing at an even 5 feet 4 inches and weighing in at 121 pounds, we have Miya Winters! With fair and snowy skin, she visually lives up to the name “Winters”. Complementing her snowy complexion are bright, crystal-like blue eyes and purplish locks. Her guild symbol is a blue that matches her eyes and rests along her left collar bone. Other than that, she doesn’t really have any other markings. And now what we’ve all been waiting for (not really), her measurements are (in centimeters) 83-56-85 (the same as her face claim... yes, I actually looked this information up because I was too lazy to think on my own *sigh* oh well). Her build would be feminine but athletic.

Personality
Miya doesn’t really take life that seriously and comes off as light hearted when you first meet her. She loves getting reactions from people, probably because it helps her to solve the puzzle of the person in question. Plus, it's simply entertaining and she doesn't have anything better to do. She also doesn't care much about personal space, so she'll often hug, hand on, or cling to people randomly. Especially if they're the type to be annoyed or embarrassed by it, and the more obvious the reaction the more likely she'll be to do the same thing again. Since she isn't very serious about life, she can be very sarcastic and enjoys joking with and messing with people. Sometimes, it can be very difficult to tell if she's being serious or sarcastic with what she says, which can be discomforting. After all, what she says can be very dark, violent, and/or twisted as a result of her childhood and time spent in a dark guild. But she always says it with a smile. She's very optimistic, though her "optimism" could be the result of her "eh" attitude towards life. She takes it to the extreme as well, saying things like "Well, at least he only lost one arm rather than two," and such. She's not very sensitive to sensitive situations, either, though that's more because she chooses to ignore the so-called seriousness of them.

One thing she enjoys, is a puzzle. Life is a game. Life is a puzzle. So she's always very observant of her surroundings and people. She also has a very curious nature, so when she finds something or someone to be interesting, she puts a lot of her energy into trying to figure them out and puzzling the pieces together of who they are or how they work. When a piece clicks into place, it gives her genuine excitement and feelings of accomplishment.

With her off-handed personality, it might be surprising that Miya is actually very protective of those she cares about (ie. hurt them, you pay). She can also be childishly jealous if she becomes really attached to someone. Now, what may or may not be surprising is that she is extremely apathetic towards those she doesn't care about (ie she'll leave you to die without a second thought).

Also, if she ever is forced to be serious, her personality shifts slightly. Outwardly, when she first clicks into serious mode, she wears a frown and her eyes turn either dead-looking or emotionless. When she's in serious mode, that should be a danger sign. She becomes irritable and easily annoyed, and her responses become cold and sometimes cruel. Her "threats" are no longer sarcasm or jokes, and you don't want to test her. She becomes completely uncaring towards others and seems to enjoy causing pain. So she pretty much reverts back to her "self" when she was in the dark guild.

She doesn't know how to balance her two personalities, and she doesn't want to have to face the past.

Dream - Imagine Dragons

History
Miya was born into a family of wizards. Both of her parents were respected, though they were nowhere near famous, and her older brother (Zeal) and her were learning magic from them. Her brother and she were always very close. He would take care of her, teach her, and they would play fun at each other. She seemed to depend on him quite a lot, and half of that might have been because their parents were pretty busy with their work. Really she lived a relatively happy and carefree childhood. That is, until after she turned nine. Her older brother whom she'd always been close with started to disappear frequently and would spend lots of time away from the house and away from her. Whenever he was around her, though, he would act just as fond of her as before, but there was something different about him that Miya couldn't figure out. It was unsettling, so she tried to puzzle it together herself. She'd watch him carefully, and her mind would go over the possibilities, though none she came up with made sense. Confused and with a growing curiosity, Miya went to her parents to relay her thoughts. She told them how she thought he seemed off, and how it was starting to bother her. Surprised, her parents exchanged glances before assuring her that they were sure it was nothing to worry about. She begrudgingly accepted their answer, but unbeknownst to her, they took what she said to heart and started paying attention to their son and his actions.

Their attention towards him turned into a personal investigation for them, as they started to uncover some things that were less than pleasant. As they investigated their son, they found out he had secretly joined one of the most notorious dark guilds of the day. It was a crushing revelation. Rather than turning him in right off the bat, because he was their son, they confronted him about it. There was an explosive argument. Miya didn't know what it had been about at the time. All she knew was that the next day, her brother disappeared, and he wouldn't reappear until three years later.

Three years after he disappeared from her life, Zeal showed up a week after Miya's twelfth birthday. She was excited to see him, and had so many questions. Where had he gone? What was he doing? Why did he leave? And other questions, but at the same time, it was far more obvious to her that something was off about him. He'd changed somehow, and for some reason, it scared her. He made her promise to keep his visit a secret from everyone, so she did.

That night, Miya had a horrible nightmare, but it was okay because she killed the demons with her powers. At least that's what her brother's illusions led her to believe. When the illusion faded, though, Miya found that she hadn't been dreaming at all. And the demons she'd slayed? They were her parents. Her brother's illusions had caused her to kill her parents, whom he had restrained and tortured beforehand (mentally with his illusions). She didn't understand what had happened at first until her brother, laughing, came out of the shadows and ruffled her hair, "Good job, Miya. You really are my precious little sister."

Realizing what she'd done was too much for her to handle, so everything went numb at first, and it was like she was living in a dream. With nowhere else to go she went with her brother who had actually come back home to bring her back to his guild. For the first few months, she was numb and didn't care about anything. They mainly used her as a spy with her hiding ability, though she did accompany her brother on certain missions and assassinations. Once Zeal started to move up in the guild ranks (leaving her alone more often than not), the numbness she felt started to fade, and reality hit her. This is when her new personality started to form (what she now calls her "serious mode").

Others in the guild who were used to her being a numb and expressionless existence who was always quiet and didn't care about anything were quite surprised to see the changes. After her personality formed, people started paying attention to her, and she eventually became part of a group that had two S-class wizards and three A-class wizards(including herself). As part of this group, she started to learn how to use her powers in a more destructive way, much like how she'd used it to kill her parents. This time, though, she was learning to control it, and willfully used it to harm and kill for the guild.
With her new personality also came a hatred for her brother. She challenged him a few times, but always lost. The only reason he didn't kill her when they fought was because she was his sister.

Then came her second awakening. She was on a mission to get close to a certain person, gain intelligence from them, and then kill them. This person happened to be a girl maybe a year younger than her (she was 15 at the time) who was the daughter of a regular wizard guild's master. What happened wasn't what she expected. After meeting the girl and infiltrating her guild, they became "friends" or at least Miya played friends with her. At first, that is. Miya did get close to the girl, but the girl got close to her as well, awakening emotions she hadn't experienced since she was a little girl. After a while she stopped playing friends, and they became real friends. This is where her second personality formed. Miya got attached, and she found herself wanting to stay rather than returning to the dark guild. When someone from her guild would check up on her, she would give an excuse as to why the girl wasn't dead yet. At some point, the guild, her brother mainly became suspicious of her and sent a different spy.

The team the dark guild sent to retrieve her was her own team. She didn't expect them to appear, but when they did, they killed the guild master's daughter in front of her. They killed the person she become attached to... She snapped, lashing out at them with her power. She ended up killing both A-class wizards, taking the arm of one of the S-class wizards, and transporting the other to a random location. When members of her dead friend's guild appeared, Miya fled, as did the wounded S-class. From then on she spend her time running and hiding from the dark guild, and avoiding her dead friend's guild.

She hid and ran for about one year and seven months before finding Fairy Tale. At the moment, the guild master is the only one who knows the real story of where she came from. She's been at Fairy Tale for about three months, now. She hasn't gone on many missions since joining, since she isn't really part of a group yet, but has been training to better control her powers.

Anything Else
She will eventually learn how to create her own little dimensional spaces, which would come in handy for storing supplies and such. After that, she would learn how to manipulate that space like she would a dream, and/or (maybe) how to travel to other existing dimensions.
((I can't think of anything else at the moment, but if I do will add it))

So begins...

A small meow sounded as Miya started to pull her hand away from the young cats she routinely stopped to pet and feed. During her three months in Magnolia, the food she gave them used up most of the small amount of money she earned doing little "missions" here and there around town. They were more requests than missions, though. She hasn't done anything that could really even be considered as a legitimate mission since joining Fairy Tail. She smiled, stroking the kitty's fur one last time before standing up, "Sorry, Lynx, but I need some nourishment, too! Otherwise, I'll die a very slow and painful death." She waved as she made her way out of the alley they stayed in, "Bye-bye!", and towards what was becoming her new home.

The guild hall wasn't that far away from where she was staying, so it didn't take that long to get there. Well, it shouldn't, at least. She was always getting distracting as her curiosity was peaked by the slightest of things. Today, though, her hunger kept her focused. She'd forgotten to eat dinner last night, and all she had with her were a few hard candies to suck on.

As she made her way down the street, clicking her candy between her teeth, her eyes caught a wizard she'd rarely seen. What did they call him again? Golden-something or other? Eh. She'd figure it out eventually. It seemed as though he'd run into a slightly disoriented man. As she got closer, Miya thought she heard him say "peasant" and blinked, tilting her head slightly. That was an odd way to address a person. Rather than joining him, as she assumed they were both headed to the same place, she opted to follow behind and observe. There wasn't much to see, though, before the guild hall was in front of them.

A broken door as well as Goldy's odd insult caused a small laugh to escape her. Her three months here gave her a good idea of who might be the cause. There was always something interesting going on, and there were always interesting people to entertain her. Momentarily forgetting her hunger, Miya looked towards where one of the more interesting people she'd seen since arriving here was making a commotion. She'd memorized his name, though she wasn't sure if he knew her. Tatsuo Dread. The girl beside him, she didn't really recognize.

Despite that, and curious about what was happening this time, Miya pretty much ignored whatever greetings were thrown her way and made her way over to where they were. She put her hands on the girls shoulder, seemingly peaking over her at the boy who was a few inches shorter than she.

"You shouldn't kick the doors so much, Tatsuo. One day instead of just breaking, the wood's gonna shatter and impale someone through either the throat or the chest, which would be quite unfortunate."

Seeing the guild master through the space where the door used to be, Miya waved with a smile, "Good morning!"

(Since LostSoulsBleed hasn't responded yet and I think we'd like to get this roleplay on a roll *heh heh, word play puns* I'm going to go ahead and post again. At the moment I'm thinking the guild master will send us on all this mission together, Amaya included, and tells us to find her before we leave. Jump in whenever you get the chance, Lost!)

Ariana Hasani

Just as Aria was lowering her hand a blonde hair man, about her height, brushed passed her and practically kicked open the door. "Hey! What the hell?! Where's all the good missions! I wanna fight a giant monster!" he yelled. 'This must be the Komodo,' Aria thought, recalling stories she'd overheard about Tatsuo, the man who had power over earth (and ate it, which was a bit odd, but who was she to judge?). 'I had thought they were exaggerating, but no; he's just as impulsive and hot-headed as they'd said.' Even if he hadn't made such a scene she could feel the irritation coming off him in waves.

As he barged into Master Jia's office she debated entering too, but just as she was about to step forward another man (this one dressed in all gold armor) swept past her. "Move aside, Mongrel, I might step on you by accident", he snarled at Tatsuo as he entered Master Jia's office. 'And this must be Dyandin Ekkhart, Fairy Tail's self-proclaimed king.' Aria thought. The stories she'd heard on this one were just as bad (if not worse) and were characterized by a really nasty attitude and general mistreatment of others. In fact, the arrogance was so strong in this one, she wanted to hold her nose (as if that would help - the aura of I'm-better-than-you was about as strong as Tatsuo's irritation, if not stronger).

Despite these new (and rather unwanted) arrivals, Aria held her blank face as she quietly entered Master Jia's office (though she only took a step past the doorway), hoping he would not be irritated by her entry (though she wasn't terribly concerned - he'd be more unhappy with the other two than her. I mean, at least she had had the curtsy to knock...

Another entered from behind her, though Aria hadn't heard her foot steps she could feel the mild amusement which was affirmed a moment later by a small laugh. Two hands came to rest on Aria's shoulder and she stood still as the girl looked over her shoulder (Aria was shorter than her by at least a few inches) and spoke: "You shouldn't kick the doors so much, Tatsuo. One day instead of just breaking, the wood's gonna shatter and impale someone through either the throat or the chest, which would be quite unfortunate." Aria blinked at how nonchalantly the girl said this, but the gruesome/lighthearted combo wasn't anywhere near the weirdest thing she'd even heard.

Glancing over her shoulder she recognized Miya, another Fairy Tail guild member who'd joined only 2 months prior to Aria (Ashton had pointed out some of the newer members to Aria when she first joined, probably so she could "make some friends" or something like that). They hadn't actually interacted, which made the whole hands-on-shoulders thing a bit weird, but Aria wasn't uncomfortable... well, not too uncomfortable. "Good morning!" Miya chimed and Aria followed her eyes to a figure she recognized as Master Jia, sitting at his desk. He didn't seem to notice the abrupt entries, or if he had he didn't care. After a few more brief moments he wrote something and nodded his head, before putting the pen down and looking up at the group.

"Good morning everyone." he said, his voice deep (a little gruff even) but not in any way unfriendly. His eyes scanned the small group, specifically settling on Miya and Aria. "Good morning Miya. Ariana. Glad you see you both." he said with a small but friendly smile, and Ariana felt a small flare of excitement inside of her but then quickly quelled it. 'This is not the time for an accident,' she thought to herself as she gave the Master a small nod in return. His eyes moved from her area to the place Tatsuo and Dyandin (could she just call him "D"? His name was a bit of a mouthful, but she wasn't sure if someone who referred to himself as a king would appreciate the nicknaming) were standing, both glaring at each other. Master Jia cleared his throat in their direction, immediately getting their attention again. "What can I do for you all?" he said, addressing the small group of 5 while his eyes remained on the two men, almost as a warning.

Tatsuo's train of thought was derailed by the arrival of Dyandin. He glared daggers at the young man when he called him a Mongrel, and mentioned something about stepping on him. He continued to glare at Dyandin as Miya talked, only half paying attention to her. "What'd you say to me you son of a bitch?!" He snarled at the gold clad mage. Tatsuo grabbed the young man's shoulder to turn him around, and force him to face him. Tatsuo then shoved him back. "Say that to my face bastard! Think you can bad mouth me?! I'm a damn Dragon Slayer! I'm the most powerful wizard in this place!" Tatsuo roared at him.

As Tatsuo glared up at Dyandin his attention was briefly drawn to their guildmaster. "You know Jai, I came here because I wasn't satisfied with the jobs on the board. I wanted something big to punch. I guess I could settle for the golden priss here." Tatsuo stated as he returned his full, undivided attention back to Dyandin, and then he cracked his knuckles. "Shouldn't take but five......three minutes to beat him into a paste. I really wanna take my time with this one." He growled with a wolfish grin crossing his face.

"EARTH DRAGON HURTLING!" Tatsuo shouted as he summoned forth a rather large buster-like sword. Tatsuo held up the almost comically large sword of rock up, pointing it at Dyandin's chest. "I'll tell you what, I'm in a generous mood. Say you're sorry, and I won't have to beat your sorry ass up, and down this guild. I'd rather save my energy on something....worth it." He smirked at the man as he parted some of his golden blonde hair out of his eyes. "Hmm, I don't know. It'd probably be fun pounding the snot out of ya jerkwad."

"What'd you say to me you son of a bitch?!"

Dyandin's attention was manually directed to the fiery-soul individual. Dyandin's expression was arrogant, smiling while Tatuso let out his anger. As Dyandin was shoved back by the clearly ire-filled man, Dyandin remarked. "Hands off, hobbit. I had this armor waxed on my way over here."

As Tatuso looked at the guildmaster, Dyandin's eyes followed. "You know Jai, I came here because I wasn't satisfied with the jobs on the board. I wanted something big to punch. I guess I could settle for the golden priss here." The dragonslayer then turned his full attention onto Dyandin, The armor-clad man was still smirking, his posture straightening from being pushed back. "Shouldn't take but five......three minutes to beat him into a paste. I really wanna take my time with this one."

Dyandin burst into laughter, regaining his composure before opening his mouth once again. "Don't sell me short, Bumpkin. In fact, you should be the one sold short." Tatuso's arm glowed with a magic circle, a large blade of rock forming from it's wake. "I'll tell you what, I'm in a generous mood. Say you're sorry, and I won't have to beat your sorry ass up, and down this guild. I'd rather save my energy on something....worth it." Dyandin's hand glowed gold.

"Requip : Holy Javalin"
. Dyandin walked back, a large spear formed into his hands, Dyandin spinning the weapon overhead before resuming a stance.

"I'm usually above dealing with people who's ego is bigger than their brain, but I'll have to cut you down to size. I think I'll only have to cut you in half for you to be microscopic."

Ariana. As Master Jia addressed them, Miya supposed that was the girl's name. She filed the name into the back of her mind for safe keeping before her attention was drawn back to Tatsuo and Goldy. She sighed, shrugging as it seemed the two boys were going to ignore both she and Master Jia. However, their exchange was quite entertaining, and the more he talked, the more Miya found her interest in Goldy growing. Plus, she was eager to see what/if Master Jia would do something.

"Haha! And there he goes." At the excitement of a possible duel and of finding new people to puzzle out, the fact that if the two of them fought here it would probably destroy part of the guildhall didn't bother her at all. Speaking of new people, the girl she was standing behind felt... off somehow, but she wasn't able to place it. Taking her hands off of the girl's shoulder, Miya stepped up beside the girl and forward slightly, turning her head to stare the girl, Ariana, straight in the face. Miya's eyes examined Ariana as she tried to pinpoint what it was that seemed off. However a different thought intruded.

She blinked as though a revelation had just occurred to her. Standing up straight and turning towards the two boys yet again, she pointed a finger directly at Goldy, exclaiming, "Ah! I remember now. The Golden-Asshole! That's what people call you, right?" She hadn't met the guy, and though she thought that title had been pretty interesting she never really listened when people talked about him. She'd been solely interested in Tatsuo and his destructive nature at the time.

I like the picture/gif accompanying the character's name. Decided to use Haruna Sairenji as a face claim if I want to post a pic/gif.
Ariana Hasani

The relief of Miya removing her hands from Aria's shoulder didn't last long as Miya moved next to her and stared hard at Aria's blank face. Aria pretended not to notice. She didn't have to pretend long though as suddenly Miya turned towards the two guys who were currently facing off and exclaimed: "Ah! I remember now. The Golden-Asshole! That's what people call you, right?". If not for the Curse on her, Aria probably would've burst out laughing; someone who thought of themselves as a king, the 'golden-asshole' was probably not a preferred title. Master Jia, however, had no such limitations and chucked quietly before trying to pass it of as a cough. Aria knew better.

But after the small amusement had passed, Master Jia's eyes narrowed dangerously as Tatsuo and Dyandin's threats towards each other quickly grew more immediate. Aria wondered if letting the two continue like this was wise, especially when the five of them were in such a small space, but he merely cleared his throat and the look of irritation passed. "Actually, I'm being rude." he stood and turned to Aria, his expression gentle, "You were here first Aria. And bothered to knock-" a quick glare towards Tatsuo and Dyandin who were still exchanging death glares / insults while paying no attention to the guild Master, "What is it that you needed me for?"

Aria quietly cleared her throat, stepping forward and extending her hand with the paper in it towards him. "I'd like to undertake this mission, Master Jia, however as it will take me out of Magnolia for the first time, I needed to have it approved by you first." Jia took the paper from her hand and looked over it. "Goblins sneaking into a town to steal meat? That's a new one. And a lot of meat, especially for little critters who don't actually eat meat." after a brief pause he cleared his throat again, handing her back the paper. "Well Aria this all looks fine except for one thing; this is actually a B class mission, and for an A-Class wizard like yourself, going alone would be too dangerous for me to allow. However, if you were a part of a team, there would be no problem."

Aria felt her heart tighten and immediately her knees went weak, forcing her to lean heavily on the chair that stood in front of her (she tried to make it a casual movement, but she'd leaned too suddenly and too heavily for that to pass off as casual). Her mind started racing and she tried to slow herself down. She didn't really know anyone well enough to ask them to be on a team with her. But how was she going to get the Master's approval for this mission without one? 'Maybe I ought to pick a different mission instead...' she thought to herself when Jia suddenly clapped his hands together.

"And what better team than the one before us now?" he said with a gleam in his eye.

'What?'

"Dyandin, Tatsuo and Miya. You are all A-class wizards who lack teams. So, instead of each of you finding a team for yourself..."

'No...'

"We're going to form a new one!"

'Oh, no.'

Tatsuo's glares grew even more intense with every word Dyandin spewed. His grip clinched even tighter on the handle of his rock sword. "Don't deal with people who's egos are bigger than they're brain huh? That's some real pot and kettle crap if I ever saw one." He smirked. Tatsuo laughed out loud when he heard the other girl, Miya call Dyandin the Golden-Asshole. "That's pretty fitting. Though you're gonna need a new nick name when I turn that stupid looking armor into scrap metal!" Tatsuo roared. He readied himself to attack, bending low, and raising his sword above him. "Now you're gonna feel the power of a Dragon Slayer!"

Tatsuo planted his right foot forward as he turned his hips to prepare for a wide swing of his sword. He had not been paying attention to the guildmaster, and Ariana talk, as he was far too focused on taking this jerk's head off. However when Jai stated that they were now a team he suddenly got his full attention. Tatsuo stopped mid-swing, and the end of his sword rested on the ground beside Dyandin. "What?! You're kidding me right?! This has to be some sick joke!" He shouted as he threw up his free arm.

"I'm Tatsuo Dread the Dragon Slayer, the freaking Komodo! I don't need a team!" He asserted. "Especially not with this jack off! He'd only hold me back!" He stated as he pointed his finger at Dyandin. "The only cooperation I want from this jerk is his head popping off when I punch him in his stupid face!" He growled. With ever word Tatsuo said he was getting increasingly angry. Rage just flowed off of him in waves. "I don't need a team, I don't need anybody! Other people can't keep up with me!" Tatsuo protested once more. He had to wonder how much of this was actually getting into the guildmaster.

"Come on, you guys can't want to be on a team with each other?" He asked the others. He quickly shot a glare at Dyandin. "Not you, I don't care about your opinions." He growled at him. He then glanced over at Ariana. "Hey you, purple girl!" Tatsuo then grabbed her by the back of her collar, and pulled her over to him. "Hey!" He said as he turned her to face him. "Tell him you don't want a team. Tell him you got it under control!" He demanded.

(I've decided to change my Hexcode to my second choice. I think goldish is more fitting, but it hurts the eyes. RED.)

"WHAT!" Dyandin winced at Miya's comment, followed by grumbling about "hunting and executing" the person who decided to create the title. His attention shifted to Tatsuo, as the dragon-slayer commenced his attack, the gold armored man raising his spear to parry the attack, but being stopped by the guildmaster's proclamation. In tandem with The Komado's comment, Dyandin remarked "I rather refrain from agreeing with the housepet's beliefs, but he's right about forming a team being redundant."

As Tatsuo gave his thoughts on the matter, Dyandin performed his signature, Tch, every time he was mentioned. Dyandin walked over to the sediment in Tatsuo's hands and impaled it with his weapon, the spear in his hand dissolving into golden particles after the large chunk of rock shattered. Dyandin then pulled on his mirror and started fixing his outfit and facial features from the earlier conflict. Dyandin was anything but indifferent about the matter, but alike Tatsuo, he rather not show any disagreement to the guild master's orders, not because Dyandin thinks of himself lower than Master Jia, but because he has a certain amount of respect on the individual, enough not to refer to him as a "peasant".

As Tatsuo pulled the purple haired female towards him and started to forcefully beg her to make the master change his mind. Dyandin pocketed his mirror and walked over to the two, splitting them up, while turning his attention to The Komado. "At least act like a gentlemen when next to a lady, Ruffian." scolded Dyandin. The heavily-clad man then grabbed the paper from the guildmaster's desk and started to walk off, waving his hand in the air.

"If the guildmaster wishes for it, I won't argue, My subjects may hold my baggage for me while I complete the mission. As for the rampallian, he may dig his own grave."

(couldn't find an "excited" photo where she had long hair -sad-)

Miya blinked. She supposed that Dyandin, as the guild master called him, didn't know about or like being referred to by that title. Maybe that was something she could use later. Tatsuo... She giggled a bit. He was reacting exactly like she thought he would in this situation.

Miya's attention turned back to the guild master as he started to speak again. A team? With them? She stared at Master Jia for a moment, unsure, but apparently, he was serious. That meant that he thought she was ready to go outside of Magnolia. I mean, it had been three months, but still. She wasn't sure how she would fare on a team again, but she decided she wouldn't think about the past. Still looking at the guild master, Miya's face broke into a smile and she jumped excitedly. Laughing, she was about to hug the girl, Ariana, but before she could, Tatsuo had the girl by the collar. Miya was forced to step back, slightly surprised.

Wow. He really didn't want to be on a team. Especially not with Dyandin, she guessed. Dyandin seemed to feel the same, but he accepted it, walking over to separate Tatsuo from Ariana before taking the paper and stepping out of the room. The two boys were so entirely different, and yet somehow similar... And then there was Ariana... This is gonna be fun.

Miya saluted Master Jia for no particular reason before turning to catch up to Dyandin, then slowed down to the side of and slightly behind him. "So it's Dy-an-din, right?" she asked, trying to sound out his name, as it didn't roll of of her tongue too easily. "I'm Miya," she said as she switched to walking backwards to the side and slightly in front of him giving a small mock-curtsy.

She then stopped walking, seeing people eating at tables, and her hunger came to the forefront of her mind again.

"Oh, right! Food!" That's why she came to the guildhall in the first place, so she spun on her heels away from Dyandin to find breakfast before they left.

Ariana Hasani

Jia clapped his hands together gleefully but Aria... well, she didn't share his enthusiasm. Now it wasn't anger or disbelief Ariana felt; it was more of a "this-isn't-going-to-work-out-well-but-there's-nothing-I-can-do-but-accept-it" feeling. Surrender, perhaps. Either way she merely nodded her head. "If that's what you feel is wisest, Master Jia." she said in a quite monotone as she straightened up, no longer leaning on the chair from a moment ago.

This, however, did not see to be the correct answer to Tatsuo.

"What?! You're kidding me right?! This has to be some sick joke!" Tatsuo yelled in fury and disbelief, "I'm Tatsuo Dread the Dragon Slayer- the freaking Komodo! I don't need a team! Especially not with this jack off! He'd only hold me back!" He shouted accusingly, pointing at Dyandin (though there was really no one else he could've been referring to). Dyandin, ignoring this, put in his two sense; "I rather refrain from agreeing with the housepet's beliefs, but he's right about forming a team being redundant." however was barely heard as Tatsuo was becoming increasingly more enraged. And unfortunately Aria could feel it, with or without her emotional sensing abilities, and it was beginning to have an effect on her. "I don't need a team, I don't need anybody! Other people can't keep up with me!" He screamed, and Aria could feel her body starting to shake despite her increased efforts to ignore it. She should leave. She should leave right now.

However, as she calculated the possibly of her slipping out of the room without drawing any further attention to herself, someone's hand shot out and grabbed Aria's shirt collar and she was pulled over to the infuriated Dragon Slayer with the call of "Hey you, purple girl! Hey!" Roughly turning her to face him, Aria found herself staring directly into golden eyes with her own lavender (and significantly widened) ones. "Tell him you don't want a team. Tell him you got it under control!"

Aria opened her mouth. She wanted to say that Jia was the Master and he knew best, or that she was inexperienced and for a more dangerous mission it would only make sense that someone accompany her (though, perhaps not these people....). A small part of her wanted to straight up tell him No and especially to let her go. But she was unable to speak. The mark over her chest was burning like a branding iron and everything had suddenly become blurry. 'The Curse... His anger, my fear... It's activated the Curse.' were the panicked thoughts that were racing through her head, 'Stay strong. Stay conscious. C'mon Aria, get a grip. Please... don't have an episode here, now, in front of everyone. Focus...' But her body was shaking badly as she gaped at the Komodo. To her relief Dyandin stepped forward, parting Tatsuo and Aria with a disgusted "At least act like a gentlemen when next to a lady, Ruffian." She took an unsteady step or two backwards before bumping into the chair she'd been leaning on a moment ago (gods bless this chair) and practically collapsed in it. 'Breathe. Breathe. Stay calm. Don't let him get to you.'

Dyandin, his good-deed-of-the-day completed, picked up the mission paper from the desk. "If the guildmaster wishes for it, I won't argue," He said, turning to leave the room, "My subjects may hold my baggage for me while I complete the mission. As for the rampallian, he may dig his own grave." Miya turned and followed him out, apparently having no qualms with the concept of forming a team. Aria heard her introduced herself to Dyandin as they exited.

Meanwhile, Jia made a general motion with his hands indicating that Tatsuo calm down - who was understandably infuriated that Dyandin had just turned his weapon into dirt again. "Tatsuo, this isn't... fear, is it?" he said suddenly with a small, knowing smirk, as if this peculiar realization had just dawned on him, "I mean, it's one thing to pick a fight with someone and duke it out with them directly, just one-on-one. But it's another thing entirely to test one's strength on the battle field against another opponent. You're not worried that Dyandin will prove to be a more efficient wizard and fighter than you, are you?" The tone of voice that lawyers would likely use on their opponents' client, as it was one that put Tatsuo in an unfavorable position; if he denied this claim or tried to insert a different reason, it would just make him seem more guilty of the accusation. It was a lose-lose situation and Aria might have felt pity for the Komodo... if she weren't currently trying not to have episode. Fortunately she was regaining control quickly.

Turning from Tatsuo again, leaving his words to linger, Aria saw the guild master's brows furrow and he started muttering to no one in particular. "Now, I feel like this team is missing something..." Jia mumbled to himself, tapping his chin slowly, "Hm... What is it? What is it?"

'Logical thought? Foresight, perhaps?' Aria thought to herself, but of course didn't dare say that out loud (not like she could from her position - her vision had only just cleared up, thanks to her breathing techniques, but she was still shaking like a Chihuahua). She glanced over at the Master and was somewhat... confused. He had this... confidence about him, despite his muttering, as if this were merely a part of an act. Not the normal powerful-guild-master confidence, but the confidence of a music writer with the first few notes on an otherwise blank page - it didn't seem like much, but in the writer's mind it was a masterpiece that was yearning to have it's story written. Like that writer, maybe the Master knew something she didn't.

Or maybe, just maybe, he enjoyed putting random people into teams without any regard for how well they'd function simply because he enjoyed watching them crash-and-burn.

...Okay, probably not that one, but she had only known him for a month so she couldn't say for sure.

Master Jia snapped his fingers, pulling Ariana out of her thoughts again. "Amaya. She'd be the perfect addition to the team." he said, then sat back down in his chair and leaned back, obviously very satisfied with himself. Aria sensed... more than just satisfaction, though. There was a smugness to his aura that again implied that he knew more than what he was revealing and it gave her the distinct impression that he had some kind of rhyme or reason for this seemingly "random" grouping. In fact, if she were to be extremely perceptive, it occurred to her that it was incredibly convenient that they'd all gathered in the same place at this particular moment in time.

"Make sure you all get Amaya before you leave on your new mission - Dyandin has all the details of your mission in his hand. Make sure no one is to be left behind. And, if Amaya has any questions, she's free to come to me about it before you all leave." Suddenly Jia was standing and busily ushering (well, more like forcibly removing) Tatsuo from his office, Aria having to almost dive out of the way. She had to admit, she was impressed by Jia's strength. "Now go on. The sooner you leave, the sooner the mission gets done. Hurry back, be safe, and don't kill you teammates." Were his oddly motherly parting-words as in a matter of moments, the four of them were outside the closed door of Master Jia's office once again. In a state of stunned silence, Aria looked between her new teammates, not entirely sure what she was supposed to do or think at this point.

"I... guess we're a team now." she said quietly to no one in particular.

Tatsuo rolled his eyes as the Golden-Asshole separated him, and Ariana. He watched as Ariana staggered back onto a chair, and nearly collapsed on it, and was shaking. He raised his eyebrow at this. 'Hell's her problem?' He wondered. His attention was soon brought back to Dyandin as he took the flyer, and mentioned something about them carrying his luggage. Tatsuo glared at him, and clinched his fist tightly. Oh he was definitely going to kill him before the day's up. Maybe even before the hour's over. This guy was seriously getting on his nerves. He was about to say something before he was interrupted by the guildmaster.

"Excuse me?! I miss heard you. Sounded like you wanted me to rip your head off!" Tatsuo growled as he turned to face Jai. Tatsuo became even more enraged with every word he spit. Him afraid? The entire guild hall began to shake from his anger. "I'm not afraid of anything. Least of all this asshole." Tatsuo growled through his teeth. As Jai shoved him out of his office, Tatsuo growled at him before walking out himself. "Whatever! I'll deal with this job myself. Don't get in my way rookies." He snarled, mostly at Ariana, and Miya.

Tatsuo jerked the flyer out of Dyandin's hand, and pushed his aside. "Carry your own damn makeup bags, and Sunday dresses ya pansy!" He growled at him. "Come on, the sooner we get this over with the sooner the dumbass figures out that sticking me with you guys is a mistake." He ordered as he made his way out of the guild. "Alright three rules kiddos. Shut ya mouths or I'll break ya teeth in. Don't get in my way. And don't tell me what to do. Follow those rules, and I'll get this job done, and we can be on our merry ways."

Tatsuo stepped outside, and scratched his chin as he tried to remember who in the world this Amaya was, and where she lived. "Um....does anyone know where....uh.....Amaya lives? Or who she is? I don't know half the jerks in this craphole." He asked aloud. He then glanced over at Ariana. "Hey, you....uh.....ok? You aren't gonna weenie out, and pass out or have a panic attack, or something when I'm fighting everything for you wusses are ya?" He asked, pointing out her strange behavior back in the guildmaster's office, and showing a little concern over his new 'teammate'.

Either from it being hot, or Dyandin not appreciating Miya's comment about his title. The heavily clad man decided to change out of his armor, his armor glowing a bright yellow before forming into particles as he walked away from the guild master's office, leaving a black jacket and his hairstyle oddly shorted than before. Dyandin looked over the paper he took from the desk, since he was an a argument with Tatsuo, he didn't listen to the details from Master Jia. Something about goblins stealing meat, Dyandin didn't really care about "petty" trifles such as this one. The reward that rightfully belongs to Dyandin is the only detail that was important. He was in desperate need of some money, (He's also pretty hungry too)

As Dyandin's train of though drifted from station to station, his attention was directed to the purple haired female who had caught up to him. Responding to her question and statement with "That's King Dyandin to you, Fool". Wincing at the mock curtsy, and when Miya decided to go on ahead and get some food before the venture, Dyandin responded with, "Please, Hurry up. This mission shan't take all day.

Dyandin barely had the time to sigh at his new teammate's childish behavior before his paper was snatched from his hands by a full-speed Tatsuo. Rolling his eyes in displeasure as the dragonslayer gave his rules to abide by. Dyandin would've completely shut out his mind and start with his daydreaming habits if it weren't for the name Amaya to come up in the conversation. Amaya was the one of the only people that Dyandin respected, she is the definition of a "capable subordinate" to him. Dyandin was a bit more content about their new addition. As the Komado started to hound Ariana with questions, Dyandin stepped in, not necessarily because he wanted to save the girl from answering, he just wanted to criticize Tatsuo for his behavior. Dyandin directed his attention to the blonde haired man and spoke with an aggravating tone.

"What did I say about treating woman correctly, Shall we put you on a leash?"

Miya waved in acknowledgment at Dyandin's request, and opted to ignore him calling her a fool. She had called him the Golden-Asshole, after all, though she thought it might end up being quite fitting. He seemed to be the super serious type, after all. Though one could also see that type as being simply responsible. She didn't really like super serious though. Still, he seemed interesting... Oh well, she'd see how things would play out as she puzzled him out, as well as the rest.

Miya grinned. He wanted her to be fast? Sure, she could be fast. Reaching into the bag at her side, Miya wrapped her hand around a square item. Pulling it out, she now held a black cube in her hands, and as she leisurely walked around the tables, her hand moved quickly, turning and pressing at the cube. Expressions of "Hey!" "What the-!?" and "Huh?" could be heard. As she passed by each table, some of the food on people's plates disappeared. Little portals stole it away and deposited it almost right into Miya's mouth. She could always go buy her own, but this was more entertaining. Cost efficient too. Before they could catch on to her, she circled her way back to the group, a satisfied expression on her face as she kept the puzzle between her hands.

She wasn't there to catch any of what Tatsuo had said, but it wouldn't really have made a difference anyways. She saluted Dyandin, "Done!" Though her eyes immediately fell on Ariana. Again, she had the feeling something was off about her, and Miya was usually pretty accurate about these things. She must have missed something back in the office, because there was even something off about how the girl seemed off, if that made any sense. Pursing her lips, she knew she must have missed an important reaction that would have helped in puzzling this girl together. Now that she really looked at her...

Miya looked the girl up and down before her eyes rested on her face again. She might even be more interesting than the two boys, though in a much more subtle way. Now there were three people capturing her attention, and she'd be on a team with them from now on. Not knowing what was going on, but not quite caring, Miya stepped over to Ariana with a relaxed smile.

"Don't worry. Everything'll be fine, even if we are stuck with the two people who almost got into a brawl that would have probably ended up destroying the guildhall and pissing off Master Jia. At least we won't be bored, right?" Looking between the two boys and Ariana, she proceeded to ask, "So where to?" as she didn't know there was a fifth member, nor did she know the information of their task.

Ariana Hasani

Everyone seemed to be moving towards the doors of the guild so Ariana followed their lead, far more steady than she was a few tense minutes ago. With every calculated step was a deep breath and by the time they were out of the guild hall she had fully regained control. Now it was time for her to take everything into perspective. She had been grouped with four other people and sent to complete a mission.

Dyandin, nicknamed the "Golden King" (also referred to as the "Golden Asshole") due to his rather arrogant personality and tendency to think of himself as better than everyone else. From what he'd demonstrated (and what she'd overheard other people say) his power seemed to be Requip.

Miya, a recent recruit of the guild who'd only been a part of Fairy Tail for 2 months longer than Aria herself had, who was capable of useing portals (or at least that's what it seemed like, judging by how she'd... acquired, food on the way out of the guild hall). Aria had not heard much more on her, as she was still very new.

Tatsuo, however, she'd heard plenty about. An Earth Dragon Slayer, the "Komodo"; quick to anger and incredibly powerful, especially for a rank-A wizard. She had seen this already and wondered how exaggerated the stories of him were - possibly not at all, she suspected. He was also a big fan of food and NOT a big fan of any kind of moving vehicles / mode of transportation.

Amaya had some stories about her passed around. As powerful as she was cold towards other people, and one of the extremely rare Chinese Zodiac Celestial Wizards. Aria had never met one before and was looking forward to seeing how The Celestial Wolf's magic worked.

And then you had Aria. Emotionless herself but in control of other's emotions (ah yes, irony at its finest). She was not sure how much help she would be, nor did she know whether working/fighting/traveling with others would have any... unpleasant effects on her.

'I suppose we shall see,' she thought to herself as he eyes passed over each new team mate individually until they fell upon Tatsuo, who had approached her. "Hey, you....uh.....ok? You aren't gonna weenie out, and pass out or have a panic attack, or something when I'm fighting everything for you wusses are ya?" He said in a gruff voice that masked his genuine concern, though Aria could see right through it. Her mouth twitched as if she were going to smile but instead she only nodded once. "Yes, I will be perfectly fine." she said, her voice in it's usual monotone as she realized he must have actually noticed her near-episode in Master Jia's office, "I apologize for earlier; you merely caught me off guard is all."

"What did I say about treating woman correctly, Shall we put you on a leash?" Dyandin said irritably as he marched over, though this time he made no move to separate Aria and Tatsuo. It was more so that he just wanted something/one to nag at because he was in a bad mood (and no one needed emotion sensing for that to be clear).

Glancing back over her shoulder, as the doors began to close, her eyes fell upon Ashton who stood leaning against the bar and speaking to Master Jia who'd come out of his office. Both of their eyes were upon the exiting team and she thought for a moment there was something strange in their expressions. Both of their faces had the same smiles - that of authors who knew a great story was beginning and they were finally able to being writing it all down. However, before she could ponder this any further, the doors closed and she turned back around to face her team members.

Miya was standing next to her, looking at her intently. "Don't worry. Everything'll be fine," she said encouragingly, perhaps mistaking Aria's rather blank expression for that of fear, "even if we are stuck with the two people who almost got into a brawl that would have probably ended up destroying the guildhall and pissing off Master Jia. At least we won't be bored, right?" she added with a smile. Again Aria's mouth twitched as if to form a smile, but she nodded once instead. Miya didn't seem to notice this as he attention was turned to the two boys, addressing their group as she asked "So where to?"

Aria spoke up, "There's a medium sized town about half a day's travel north from here. A band of goblins from the nearby forest has been repeatedly breaking into various butcher's shops and stealing meat in the night. A week ago 35 lbs of raw steaks were stolen, driving the owner of the shop to post this reward offer." she explained, recalling what she'd read of the paper currently in Tatsuo's hand, then calculated numbers. "It's 300,000 jewel total so 60,000 jewel per team member. What the owner is asking is that we scare them off and ensure they not return."

Voice remaining in it's monotone Aria continued, "If you all agree, let us meet up at the entrance of the city tomorrow morning, perhaps around 8:00. That would allows us time to eat, rest and collect any items we'd need for travel." She paused a moment for a deep breath as if to ready herself for the next sentence. "Additionally, Amaya must be informed. I do not know where Amaya's place of residence is, but if someone would be willing to give me the address I can go - if no one else would care to." Glancing at Dyandin specifically (since Tatsuo had stated he didn't really even know Amaya and Dyandin was only other member who'd be at Fiary Tail for awhile) she said.

Tatsuo raised a slight eyebrow when he noticed Ariana's mouth twitch ever so slightly. Was she trying to smile or something? But he decided not to press her on it. And then they were once more interrupted by Dyandin. Tatsuo rolled his eyes at his suggestion of putting him on a leash. "Yeah, go ahead, and try it. See what happens. Your spine will land three towns over!" He growled at the man, his fist clinching tightly. He was so getting tired of this asshole. Every word he spoke was just nails to a chalkboard to him. It was rather irritating to say the least.

Tatsuo looked down at the flyer as Ariana informed them of the nature of the mission. "Sounds simple enough. Not sure why a five person team is needed for something like this. If it's just scaring off a bunch of Goblins anyone of us could do this alone." He stated as he rubbed his chin. "Hell, the Golden Jackass here probably would just need to stand down wind to scare them off." He smirked. "Seriously dude, what the hell do you take a bath in? Skunk musk?" He asked as he held his nose. He wasn't actually saying that just to insult him, his scent is rather strong to Tatsuo's enhanced senses. As were the others, but his was particularly annoying.

"Alright, whatever. We can start tomorrow then. I'd rather get this over with, but since you girls need to get your hair done, and nails painted I'll wait." He sighed, directing his comment at Dyandin. "Here, Amaya might want to look at the job." He then handed over the flyer to Ariana. "Uh....it's Ariana right?" He asked as he rubbed the back of his head. Then he glanced over at Miya. "Miya right?" He wanted to at least get those two names right if he's going to be stuck with them. Dyandin he could care less about.

Normally Dyandin wouldn't make an effort to respond to an impulsive man such as Tatsuo, but he had something pushing him to always be in front of the dragonslayer in any and every aspect. Doing his signature "Tch.." at the Tatsuo's threats. When the Komado mentioned something about his scent, this enraged Dyandin to an extent, enough for him to respond. "Silence housepet, this is rather expensive perfume, just like yourself, your nose seems to be dis-functional, Shall I cut it off?"

To respond to the dragonslayer's comment about Dyandin being feminine, he remarked "You seem to be unaware of the definition of cleanliness, but I won't wait for you, it would take a millennium for you to be classified as clean. As for the address, it's _____" (I don't actually have an address ;_;). After the details of the mission were explained, the tall blonde then started walking off, during the introduction of names, waving his hand as he walked back to his apartment building.

~NIGHT =D~

It seems no one has suspected himself of going by himself to the mission place. Dyandin would never do something that is un-logical, but it was thanks to a mixture of wanting to beat the komado to the reward and his stomach grumbling becoming louder, with the latter being more probable. Luckily the town that these problems were occurring in wasn't very far. Dyandin walked into the house that the mayor resided in, showing his guild mark by lifting his shirt and was given directions to the cave.

Along the way, wandering goblins littered the path. As the group of beast caught a glimpse of a figure walking towards them, they sounded a cry to let others know their location. As the spectacle occurred, Dyandin held up his hand, "Requip : Bloody Cross" . A gold portal formed behind him, as he picked his sword up by the handle. The blade startled the goblins a bit before they started to commence an attack. The little gremlins were about half his size, the only problem was the sheer quantity of them was overwhelming. Dyandin slashed and killed the first one that lunged at him, before stabbing at the second one, and kicking one back behind him. The goblins were oddly less agile than he thought, delivering meat all day must have been a strain on their backs. As Dyandin killed a few more midgets before they ran away into their hiding place, the golden haired man following them into the cave.

It was unexpected, a 18 foot beast standing right in front of him, if he turned his back, he would probably die. Dyandin stood his ground, his golden armor appearing on himself, his spear forming in his left hand. The heavily clad man taking a stance with his spear and sword in both of his hands. Fire collected in the beast's mouth, the golden armored man raising his spear to block the attack, the blast taking more strain on his arm, forcing him to jump back. Dyandin was forced to only dodge, as going in for a attack would be too risky. Circles appear behind the armored man, flinging various blades at the beast, but the scales deflected the weapons. "Tch.", Dyandin was out of options, he had to go in and hope to kill the beast with one blow, as the goblins were blocking the exits. Dyandin dashed at the beast, raising his arm to nullify a blast coming at him which resulted in him breaking his arm. Dyandin let out a yell of pain, but slashing the beast with his sword. The wyvern screeched and obviously was agitated, the wound was deep in the beast's side. The wyvern dashed at the golden-clad man, heavily slashing him. The blow would've kill Dyandin if it weren't for the armor, but his vision seemed to be a bit disoriented. The wyvern flew back, the wound preventing the wyvern from finishing him off, but

It was getting darker, his eyes finally closed.

"I must be dead then...

"Alright, whatever. We can start tomorrow then. I'd rather get this over with, but since you girls need to get your hair done, and nails painted I'll wait." Tatsuo said with a sigh, though it seemed he may have been referring to Dyandin when he said this instead of Miya and Ariana. Dyandin instead said nothing, which Aria thought was... unusual. Perhaps his mind was elsewhere and he'd not truely achknowledged what Tatsuo had implied. However Aria's thoughts were interrupted by Tatsuo himself as he turned to her, handing the mission paper to her. "Here, Amaya might want to look at the job." Ariana nodded, thanking him silently.

"Uh....it's Ariana right?" He asked hesitantly, scratching the back of his head as he rubbed the back of his head. Aria nodded again, "Yes, I am Ariana Hasani, though I usually go by Aria." His attention turned to Miya as he asked her name too, and Aria's eyes fell upon Dyandin again as he told her Amaya's address and she thanked him with another silent nod before he turned and walked off, waving his hand as a gesture of farewell instead of actually saying goodbye. This is not bother her as she was rather surprised he'd given that any form of goodbye.

She turned back to look at her teammates, who were talking to each other and she repeated the address Dyandin had given her in her head. If Aria was to be completely honest she was partially hoping that someone else would go tell Amaya in her place, but it seemed it was up to her - which she was also okay with.

"I am going to go inform Amaya of tomorrow's mission." she said, her voice it's typical monotone but with a slight undertone of genuineness to it as she continued, "It was a pleasure making your acquaintances and I will see you all tomorrow morning." Then she turned and began walking towards the address Dyandin had given her. In the back of her mind she thought to herself 'I hope he gave me her actual address and not just some random location...' but ignored that idea and continued forward.

It took a little while to walk to Amaya's apartment as it was almost on the opposite side of town, but it was getting dark and there were much few people traveling the streets, so she was rather enjoying the solitude. When she arrived she looked up at the building she could see the lighters were still on, reassuring Aria that Amaya was still awake (after all, it was only 9:30ish at night). She approached the door and took a deep breath before knocking, then took a respectful step back and waited, the paper held in her opposite hand.

~Miya Winters~

Image

Aria's monotonous voice caught Miya's attention now that she was finally paying attention to the girl. Her blue eyes went to the girl's purple ones for a moment, and a puzzle piece clicked into place. Emotions. There was something about Aria's emotions. They seemed both active and dead at the same time, as Miya couldn't come up with a better way to explain the feeling she was getting. This, of course, only made Miya's curiosity and interest grow. That one piece falling into place did nothing but create more questions, confusion, and mystery. Eh. They were on a team now, so she'd have plenty of time to figure Aria out as well as why and how her emotions could be both dead and alive (for lack of a better terminology).

As Tatsuo addressed her, Miya nodded, "Miya Winters. And you're Tatsuo Dread: the Earth Dragon Slayer and one of the guild's most gleefully violent members I've observed so far." She held her hand out to him, not really caring whether or not he took it, "Nice to finally meet you!"

After her introduction, she heard Aria's voice speak up again, an undertone of what Miya would single out as being akin to genuine. Clasping both of her hands behind her back, Miya nodded at Aria. "Ditto. See ya later!" and then unclasped her hands, waving after her. She then blinked as a realization hit her. "Wait... So I didn't have to 'hurry up' with breakfast today?" It seemed so, so quickly stealing people's food with her portals had served no purpose besides entertainment for her. After a moment, she shrugged, "Oh, well," and her eyes went to Tatsuo, the only of her teammates that hadn't run off yet, though she imagined he probably would as well.

The door opened a few moments are Aria had knocked and she was greeted by the sight of a girl with long black hair, somewhat pale skin and red eyes that were narrowed dangerously. ”How the hell do you know where I live and what do you want?! the girl snapped, but Aria didn't flinch. Her face remained black and her voice level as she spoke. "You must be Amaya Miyuzaki, the Celestial Wolf." she said with a slight respectful bow, "My name is Ariana Hasani. I'm a wizard of Fairy Tail, like yourself. Dyandin told me where I'd be able to find you so I could deliver Master Jia's message to you."

"Master Jia has put you on a team to undertake this mission along with Dyandin Eckkhart, Tatsuo Dread, Miya Winters and myself." She extended her hand with the mission paper towards Amaya, continuing, "We are all meeting tomorrow morning at 8:00 outside the gates of the city, as everyone seems eager leave begin. The entire mission, including the travel there and back, shouldn't take us more than two days tops." Her eyes flicked for a moment over Amaya's shoulder; she didn't see anyone/thing be she could hear the chattering of someone else. Another visitor, perhaps, which would give Amaya a reason to be irritated with Aria's interruption. 'I'd best wrap this up. I'd rather not keep her from her company for longer than necessary,' she thought as her eyes again moved to Amaya's face, still maintaining the cold glare it had when she'd first opened the door, as she read through the paper Aria had given her.

"Master Jia also said that, if you had any questions or concerns, you were welcome to take it up with him directly." she added. "I will take my leave now so as not to take any more of your time. I look forward to working with you." She said professionally, then with a slight bow she turned and left.

The walk back was quieter than the walk there. Almost no people were out and about at this time as it was late and rather cool. Aria tucked her hands into her pockets to ward off the chill as she walked until she finally reached the outlaying forest on the opposite side of the city, following a tiny footpath (that obviously didn't get many visitors) that took her up to the tiny cabin she lived in. Shedding her clothes and pulling an oversized tshirt on, she climbed the steep (almost ladder-like) stairs up to her bed. As she climbed under the covers she reached over and step her alarm for 7:00, which would allow her time to eat before she walked back to the city's gates to meet with her team at 8:00.

'I wonder...' her thoughts began to wander as she herself began to fall asleep, 'Why did the Master assign us all to be in this team? It's all so random and last minute. Surely there's some kind of reason behind it.'

Aria turned on her side, looking out the window at the dark forest before pulling the blankets tighter over her. 'And why would 5 people be needed for a simple B-class job. It's only frightening off some goblins, isn't it? It's out of town, yes, but that doesn't justify the need for 5 wizards.'

She rolled onto her back again and her hand traveled to the center of her chest where her fingers lightly traced the raised skin of her Curse mark; the black X and she felt herself shiver. 'How will I fair on this team? I nearly had a full episode in Master Jia's office simply because Tatsuo and Dyandin were arguing. How will I fare in a fight? How useful will I be to my colleagues, who are already so powerful?'

Her eyes slowly were drifting shut, every as her thoughts became more distressing they were also growing much slower to form in her head, 'Will I... really be very useful? Will... I get more... powerful? And break... his.... Curse....?'

And on that dark thought, exactly like she had for so many nights before, Aria fell asleep.

Tatsuo raised an eyebrow at Miya. He looked down at the hand she extended. He let out a sigh, and rolled his eyes before he shook her hand. "Yeah, I guess I am." He said as he rubbed the back of his head. "Umm.....nice to meet you too I guess." He replied to her introduction. He watched as Aria left, leaving him alone with Miya. He turned to her when she said something about not having to get them breakfast them. Tatsuo shrugged. "Dude my breakfast usually consists of rocks. If you want to get me breakfast you just have to bring me some greywacke. That's my favorite. Or steaks. Steaks are also good. Mmmm....no just bring steaks instead. And god help you if there's no barbecue sauce!"

"Man all this talk of food has made me hungry....hmm....I think I got some marble back home. Though metamorphic rocks taste so salty for some reason. Igneous is where it's at! Though those are so hard to find, and most of it is crystals, and those are just so tough to chew." Tatsuo said as he rubbed his chin, lost in his train of thought. He turned his back to Miya, and began to walk away from her. "Oh...um...Miya...see you tomorrow I guess." He said as he turned back to her briefly. He then went on about his way. "And don't be so damn chipper tomorrow! It's annoying!" He yelled back as he waved her off.

After Tatsuo wondered around town for a bit before he returned to his home. He didn't really do anything, he just walked around aimlessly until he decided to return home. He soon came upon his home, a rather small place with just a single bedroom, and barely enough living space for him. It was rather shabby looking, and ill-kept. Which is true since he rarely spends the nights here, as he prefers to be out on the road, and on a job. It didn't have a door, instead have a thick sheet of earth in the doorway. He has long since kicked the door down, and just decided to replace it with some earth that he could easily repair. He held his hand up, and then brought it back down, bringing the sheet of earth down into the ground. He stepped inside, and stomped his foot on the ground, bringing his 'door' back up.

Inside his home was rather messy as one might expect from the young Dragon Slayer. Though it was mostly empty actually, as the living room had only a single couch, and a few shelves on the walls that had different rocks on them. He moved through his living room, and into his bedroom. His bedroom was really no different, having just a mattress on the floor, and a bulletin board with various postcards that he'd collected tacked on there. He reached into his pocket, and pulled out a new postcard, and tacked it onto the board. He then plopped down on his mattress and stared up at the ceiling.

"Man.....what am I going to do? I can't be on a team." He sighed. What in the world was Jai thinking? Or was he even thinking? "They'll just slow me down....I gotta be ready for him....I can't let them be a burden on me....or me them."
