Image[ Name ]
Armonía Rebekah Treblin

[ Nicknames/Aliases ]
Nía, Bekah| Hardly the most creative, it is more of a nickname than an alias. Her first name is a full four syllables and to avoid being reprimanded by her for not quite pronouncing it right with an accent, most people simply call her by the last two syllables of her name or simply by the last two syllables of her middle name, for those who know her middle name.

Art | By taking away all letters but the first of each of her names, one spells out “Art”, quite a funny coincidence, if you'd like to call it that, considering her absolute love for art.

The Artist | Hardly something to figure out, she is called The Artist by fans, friends, and foes alike. It is her call sign and her title within the guild, a name known all across Fiore. She has her own peculiar, yet effective, way of battling that is seen by many as more of dancing. She even has the gall to outright sing during battle, taunting her opponents.

Flower Child, Wild Child | More of a playfully teasing name than anything, few call her this and nobody outside of the guild would dare to. It is quite simply for her connection to and love for nature.

Belladonna | Only the members of Fairy Tail that have been there for a while (5+yrs) really call her this, rarely so. Very few, and very wealthy, people in Fiore know her talents with poisons, venoms, sedatives, and antidotes. When they need her for such a serious task, they will send out an quest directly calling for her by such.

[ Age ]
29 y.o.

[ Gender ]
Female

[ Mage Type ]
Dragon Slayer – Lost Magic

[ Type of Magic ]
Flora Dragon Slayer | The Artist utilizes a form of Lost Magic known as Flora Dragon Slayer Magic, taught to her by Thornieux, a Flora Dragon. An enchanting ability, she draws strength from consuming all types of plants, from grass and rose petals to bark and dirt. She is capable of using the abilities and taking the form of a Flora Dragon, though it's hardly limited to just that. She can make plants grow from her body though she's limited to vines, large thorns, and flowers, often seen with flowers blooming within the locks of her hair. She can also manipulate all forms of plants, providing for deadly attacks. She's certainly someone you don't want to piss off while you're wandering in the forest. She has an innate connection to the ecosystem around her and can sense the health and well being of plants and heal the ones that are dying. More than that, she can heal others. Unlike the mysterious properties of Sky Dragon Slayer healing, hers is more easily understood, as she draws on the medicinal properties of the plants she can generate and expels them from her body as energy to be given to others.

Dancer | Often seen used in battle, she also utilizes Dancer Magic to allow her body to move nimbly in order to dodge an opponent's blows and become lighter on her feet than most. However, it isn't just used in battle. She's not one to take on very many quests and is in fact a performer for money. She can be seen using her Dancer Magic in the streets to hypnotize (metaphorically) her audience.

Requip | Far from the level of someone like Titania Erza, she simply uses her ability to switch out instruments and clothes. She isn't capable of using it in battle because she never needs to and she's not so talented with it to switch out fast enough.

[ Rank ]

[ General Description ]
She stands quite tall and proud, constantly wearing a look of confidence and moving with a grace betraying her dancing prowess. She is renowned to be quite a shameless vixen when it comes to wardrobe, constantly donning clothing articles that don't cover much skin and allow for comfortable movement without being torn, though she can be a bit ignorant to current fashion trends and does her best not to dress in a tacky manner. She will often settle for denim shorts and a plain crop top to set off for her day's work. It isn't uncommon to see her in a dress for her performances either. Shoes, however, are something you won't see on her feet that often unless it's a nice pair of boots for shoving up someone's ass. She is not lacking in feminine curves, though she tends to keep “the girls” wrapped up, appearing a tad flat chested, when she's expecting to engage in serious battle. Her face is the seemingly perfect mixture of youth and maturity that leaves people stumped about her age and she's quite proud to boast no wrinkles. Her legs are weapons of mass destruction in their own rights, each a mile long and toned with muscles, as are her slender arms. Like her face, her body and demeanor seem to contradict themselves. While appearing delicate and graceful, one can also tell that she's not one that you want to piss off.

Image[ Likes ]
Plants of all kinds | “That much is a given, isn't it?”
Sweets | “I do enjoy candies and cakes. Caramels are the best.”
Camping | “Being surounded by nature is true bliss.”
Parties | “Just don't let me drink...”
Training | “It's the only way you'll ever get better.”
Traveling | “There's no greater adventure than discovering new places and new faces.”
Art | “Singing, dancing, painting. It's all just so awesome! Hibiki's music is by far the best.”
Shin, Apple, and Hibiki | “They're my boys! You'll have to go through me to fuck with them.”

[ Dislikes ]
xWhiners | “Shit will happen. That's life. No need to constantly fuss about it.”
xDark Guilds | “Light cannot exist without shadow without blinding. That doesn't mean that the light has to like it.”
xArrogance | “There's a difference between knowing you're good and shutting the fuck up.”
xAleisa | “I want to smash her face every time she smiles.”
xNarrow Minds | “I-I just don't get it...”
xSeeing others in pain | “Just innocent people.”
xFeeling useless or helpless | “I will never be that way again...”

[ Strengths ]
Gardening | It's hardly a surprise, but she is beyond adept when it comes to gardening. She makes even those with a green thumb hide their plants in shame as she boasts a bountiful harvest, having never had a plant die on her. At least not since her early years in training. More than just cultivating flora, she is capable of identifying generally any plant you put before her by sight, taste, scent, or feel and can tell you everything you want to know about it.
Art | They don't call her “The Artist” for no reason. She enjoys and excels within the activities of acting, singing, instrument playing, composing, dancing, painting, drawing, and sculpting with relative ease and is often commissioned to do work for wealthy denizens.
Magic Capacity | Armonía is just as strong as she looks and then some. She has the potential to store mass amounts of Magic but it's rare that you'll ever see or feel her at full power. Those who can sense her aura know that she tends to keep herself half full, or half empty – as her Guild Master often says.
Survival | They don't call her “Wild Child” either for no reason. Being raised quite a bit in the wild and finding herself often on the road, she's picked up her fair share of knowledge needed to survive beyond just knowing about plants. She's a capable tracker and hunter, unafraid of taking down a large beast for a meal and new coat. She can tell you when a storm's coming in and navigate in most terrains and tell you where it's safe to camp as well as what creatures might inhabit the area. She's definitely someone you'd want to get lost with.
Tae Kwon Do | She didn't start learning it until after she joined Fairy Tail but with legs like hers, she's a force to be reckoned with. Most people, especially men, have taken to standing out of reach of her legs for fear of saying the wrong thing and triggering a mood swing that will end with someone on the ground clutching their jewels. Here's a hint: It's never Armonía. She's got speed and agility on her side and she can rarely be seen using her fists as a primary attack. She's also extremely flexible and durable. She likes to hide in cabinets at the Guild Hall when she really needs to think.
Cooking | This is actually something not a lot of people know she's capable of. Looking up new recipes and sometimes collecting them as payment to cook later is something that's rather therapeutic for her. Taking a multitude of delicious, and sometimes bitter tastes and turning them into one large dish of yum is something that still mystifies her. Plus, it's generally a skill you pick up when you're alone most of the time.
Subterfuge | She particularly enjoys employing her knowledge of poisons, sedatives, venoms, and their antidotes. She's good with extracting information this way when her mission calls for more than just roughing up some grunts. She's also quite a fan (obviously) of going undercover in costume for missions, seeing it as the ultimate test of her acting prowess. Few people know, because there are few she teams with, but she does have a ninja costume in her Requip to summon.

[ Weaknesses ]
Stubborn | She possesses a keen intuition and when she knows her way is the right way she's hard pressed to do anything any way but her way. She's not big on changing her views on life either and most lectures tend to go in one ear and out the other unless she knows that said lecture is actually beneficial, which isn't often.
Violent | She's generally a pretty happy person that lets quite a few things roll off her back. But the thing is, she's never “just a bit mad” or “angry”. When you piss her off, she becomes infuriated, even if it's over the most trivial thing. Her anger brings violence and she has little to no issue breaking her foot off in someone's ass.
Distrustful | She doesn't like letting people in. She has a small circle of friends that she will allow to get to know her. Her past is very much kept a secret from most people and very few are privy to who she truly is and why she is. Not everyone understands her and this often results in her being pushed away but it's something she chooses to suffer in silence. She's aware that it's her own fault but she doesn't seem to care much.
Kind | Just because she doesn't trust enough to let people in to get to know her doesn't mean she ignores them. She has an extremely kind nature and always gives a stranger the benefit of the doubt in any given situation, often getting screwed in the end. No matter how many times her kindness is preyed upon though, she continues on. She always holds that “What if this person isn't like those others” frame of mind. Besides. Anyone who crosses her gets what's coming to them.
Upper Body Strength | Or lack thereof, really. Yes. She lifts, bro. But the fact of the matter is that her punches aren't quite as hard as those of others. Her strength is in everything from her chest down.
Liquor | Wines are fine. Nice, little mixers are fine. You give her a shot, just one, and she's gone. She cannot hold it in her and will soon be running around like a mad fool. You can tell when she's drunk because it's a complete personality overhaul and the once sweet woman is now going around kicking people through brick walls.

[ Personality ]

There are many words to describe her. If you asked the people who knew her by passing, they'd probably tell you that she's very kind. Armonía has not once passed up someone who needs a helping hand since the day in her childhood when she helped members of the Fairy Tail Guild stop a highway robbery. She has a very giving nature, willing to give a total stranger the clothes off of her back if they needed it, no questions asked. In fact, she once showed up naked to the Guild Hall demanding that someone lend her clothes to wear. She's even sweeter with her friends, spoiling them with delicious treats she knows that they'll enjoy. This is all quite misleading to many people because her nature is like that of the nature that she loves so much – It can be in a state of flux, but you never see it coming. She can be easily angered by the smallest of things and can go a bit over the top when expressing her anger. Just as quickly as her anger comes, it also leaves. It is rare to ever find her brooding about anything and she's not one to hold a grudge. She takes lessons from every loss and every mistake in her life, putting it to use to make her better in the future. She doesn't like when people complain about their losses and mistakes though and isn't quick to make friends with them. She believes that a person can only improve if they push themselves. Nothing will get done with words, but with action. A puzzlement to most, she's not much of a crying type. Nobody has ever seen her shed tears. “Everything happens for a reason and all that is meant to be will be,” is her reply. She does not mourn death, seeing it as a release from the hardships of the living world. She holds no hatred towards Dark Guilds, merely a strong dislike. She believes that evil is made, not born, and everyone has their reasons for choosing their path in life. When you get her with her friends in Fairy Tail, she becomes much more open and shows just how much she fits in with the raucous bunch of Mages. She's not opposed to throwing someone through a wall or entering a drinking contest to ease her mind after a long day's battle. The word stubborn comes to mind too, especially when it concerns something she knows. When she absolutely knows that she's right or that someone else is wrong and she doesn't have the solution yet, she will not follow blindly and will drag someone by the hair if she has to in order to get things done her way. She can be easily annoyed, generally back people with a lack of respect and courtesy and people who whine too much. It's not something she tolerates and it is well known that she can be just as bitchy as she is nice. While she does enjoy playing with children and she's well liked enough, parents tend to try and keep their children away from her because she doesn't really have a filter. "Fuck" is a word that comes from her lips often enough and she can be a bit rough when kids challenge her, a "never hold back" way of seeing things.

Image[ History ]
Once upon a time there was a small village of merchants. Everyone here was happy and while none were fabulously wealthy, none suffered from poverty. In this little village of contentment was a family with a mother named Adelita and a father named Haru. They thought they'd never be able to have children until they gave birth to a beautiful little girl. She had soft tufts of violet hair and glimmering golden eyes that shined with delight as she took in the world around her. They were a happy little family in a happy little village. Except one day, things weren't so happy. The little girl was eight now, spouting dreams of being a star. She had not a care in the world and saw only goodness. What she didn't know was that everything was going to change. A Dark Guild, Red Birds, came into town one day demanding money. Of course the merchants were prepared to fight for their livelihoods but the sad fact was that they weren't very good fighters. The Dark Guild fought dirty and the little girl with violet hair watched with the other village children as her family was slaughtered. She cried out as the Leader began to walk away after looting the homes, “That's not fair! This isn't fair! You're not fair!” She sobbed with the other children, trembling with clenched fists. The Leader with hair so red turned and simply grinned. “Life isn't fair. Why should we be?” And it was all over. It didn't take long for the law enforcement to arrive along with some guilds from nearby who began to clean up and track the Dark Guild. All of the children were either bring sent to their next of kin or an orphanage. Most had no next of kin, their families from the small town of Gruati. The little girl with violet hair was among those to be destined for the orphanage, something she would have nothing to do with. Instead, she ran. She quietly snuck away and she ran. She didn't end up alone for too long. The poor thing nearly died after eating too many poison berries, half starving and unable to identify the plants. However, she was saved by something she, nor any other, would ever expect. A dragon. Thornieux was his name and he found the child keeling over from the dastardly berries, quick to heal her. The little girl woke to a large leaf piled high with fresh fruits and vegetables that wouldn't kill her and the dragon introduced himself and then asked, “Why are you wandering all alone, little flower? What is your name?” She was reluctant to answer but she was able to look him in the eye with as brave of a face as she could muster. “My name is Armonía Treblin. My entire family was killed by the Red Tails four days ago and now I'm an orphan but I don't want to go to the orphanage and be sad and lonely. I shall be a wild child!” The dragon chuckled at her response and suggested that rather than growing up a sad and lonely wild child, she would let him raise her until she turned eighteen, after which he would leave. She agreed and it was only a matter of weeks before she was rid of her grief and learning from her mentor and new father. He instructed her in the ways of Flora Dragon Magic and taught her all that she needed to know about surviving without four walls and a roof. She was an adept learner and she grew very close to her new papa, but their agreement seemed to be coming to their end far too soon. Before she knew it, that violet haired little girl was a violet haired woman waving goodbye to her papa as he disappeared, uttering praise and love for her. She wasn't sure what to do for a while, spending a month alone in the forest before deciding to venture off into the wide world. It wouldn't be her first human contact, no. She was eleven when Thornieux allowed her to go into cities and towns whenever she pleased. He thought that it would be important for her to keep in touch with her social skills. The people in the nearest town, Cedar, knew her as something of a gypsy. She would often enter town during the week and dance and sing for money. They were surprised to see her stay longer. She thought about what she wanted to do with her life and something with art seemed the way to go but she had promised Thornieux that she would join a guild. She didn't even know how! But that didn't matter, because her guild found her. She was headed off to find a new city with new faces when she happened upon a scuffle off the side of the road. It appeared that a good guild was fending off a dark guild from robbing a caravan of merchants. Armonía wasn't just going to sit by, springing into action. Her decision to not turn a blind eye that day brought her into the fold of Fairy Tail where she has been since then.

[ Others ]

Weapons of choice include poison thorn darts, kunai, shuriken, and a bow with a quiver of arrows.
She rarely fights close quarters if she has the choice.
She's always carrying rose petals to eat.
She isn't really a flirty woman. The only people she's known to flirt with are Apple and Shin.
It is rumored that she once killed a man for stealing her caramels. She neither confirms nor denies this.
She often graces the cover of Sorcerer Weekly but refuses to do interviews or even be around their redactor Justin.

So begins...

The sun beat down on the earth as it began to rise upon Magnolia City. In the distance was a rather tall figure. No true details could be made out, the person hidden beneath cloak and hood. The pace was moderate and steady as it drew closer and closer. However, it didn't take much to figure out who it was as they entered town and began down the perfectly cobbled streets. Plants on ledges, window sills, and kiosks stretched out as if trying to touch the person. Beneath the hood was a gleam of golden, almost feline eyes and a white smile as an arm would reach out to brush against the flora gently as though soothing a needy child. People waved and cheered for the person walking through with a bag slung over shoulder, the walk become more determined as Fairy Tail's Guild Hall came closer into view. Children ran alongside the figure with happy smiles until they were either shooed away or snatched by their parents.

The sound of rambunctious activity could be heard coming from within the home of Fiore's most talented Mages, as usual. Though it wasn't usually so early in the morning. The door was pushed open to reveal a royal rumble going on for whatever reason. Disregarding it, the figure began to head towards a table that was relatively far from the ruckus. However, there was a pause in the walk as the golden eyes watched a young Mage of deep blue hair stride over to that very table and begin plucking caramel candies from the bowl sitting there, greedily scarfing them down. Every head nearby turned and every eye widened as a collective “No!” was called out. The young Mage paused and turned to the figure that was now right beside him. “You really shouldn't take things that aren't yours...” The voice was soft and calm but there was an air of danger about the person that made the young one hesitate before flashing a wide smile. “Ain't nobody's name on it. 'Sides. I take what I want! Anyone don't like it, they can fight me 'bout it!”

“He's new! Don't do it!”

“Crush the little punk!”

“Master Shin! Stop her!”

“I'm getting the hell outta here!”

“She's gonna kill him!”

The young Mage looked around confused as people called out but carefully kept their distance. Soon enough, his big brown eyes widened in fear, recognition, and awe as well. The cloak was thrown away from the figure with a flourish, colorful petals raining about and revealing a woman. She was taller than him by at least a foot and a half, vivid violet locks rolling down her back as she stood with a cold glare, one hand on her hip and the other darting out towards the boy. Before he could run he was caught, the delicate hand squeezing around his throat. He immediately began spitting out the caramels he had devoured. It was no use though.

The Artist had him now.

Image

“Nobody. Touches. My. Fucking. Caramels! Her melodious voice came out in an operatic roar as she threw him down. He bounced off of the floor only for his body to meet with one of her long legs, sending him back to the floor. Another swift kick to the gut sent him flying into another table. The tanned, buxom beauty frowned before her expression changed entirely, a bright and friendly smile on her face. “Welcome to Fairy Tail! I hope you make a lot of new friends here! Just stay out of my way or I'll eat you!” She gave an airy giggle before plopping into her seat, crossing one leg over the other to enjoy her delicious caramel candies, every now and then pulling a petal from between her breasts and slipping it past her lips. She could hear some of the others either laughing at the boy or screaming for him to speak. She glanced over once to see that he was unconscious and drooling, her brow lifting. Maybe she used a bit too much force...

Pfft.

Nah.

Everyone knew that one did not simply eat one of The Artist's caramels without paying the price. Rolling her eyes as they began to shake the boy, she pulled her backpack to her side and began rooting through it, pulling out various doohickies and whatchamacallits, spreading them out in front of her. She had recently taken a job in a far off town inhabited by archaeologists and had been paid with objects that they'd found. She wasn't quite sure what any of them were for or what they were worth but they were absolutely fabulous and some of them were so shiny! She marveled at her things, grabbing one and turning it about to inspect it before picking up another and trying to figure out how it would work, oblivious to everything else around her. An old leather collar with a shiny golden bell particularly caught her attention. She pawed at it like a kitten, her eyes lighting up as it jingled before she put it on, fawning over it.

Oh my my. Apple had to laugh, a dry laugh without any hints of emotion displayed on his face though but it's Apple alright, that was the best laugh he could pull off. Minutes ago this brat with his grand frog hat was still sitting on a branch not far off from the guild house, slacking off and avoiding the other guild members best as possible to not be dragged to work. Awakened from his half-sleep by a very familiar presence he went back to the guild house, attempted to welcome her. However, like every so often Art welcomed herself with an impact that left Apple no choice but to clap his hands. "Wheet-whoo." He said, attempted to sound it similar to a fascinated whistle and glanced over to the victim this time. Poor boy, guess he was new and sadly did not know the line he could not cross.

"Hey Apple don't just stand there; help this poor guy out why don't you?"

Someone winked Apple to the boy who seemed not to have gained consciousness yet. Apple glanced to Art, actually just wanted to jump on her lap and welcome her with several sweets he had gathered for her. However, seeing her busy with something Apple obeyed eventually after pondering for several seconds. It wasn't long until plant stalks wriggled into the guild house and caught the new boy and knotted him down. A light flashed up, signing his plant cure began to work as the boy finally opened his eyes, oblivious to what just happened. As the plants went back and freed him from their grab, Apple patted the new member on the head. "A weak person like yourself can't dream of defeating Art." He uttered straight forwardly and attempted to take his leave but the blue haired seemed to be really pissed off this time. "No brat is gonna underestimate me like that--!" To his misfortune, he hit the big muscle guy of fairy tail accidentally whilst he was standing up who on the other hand punched another guy.

"What, you're starting a fight?!"

"Huuh?"

"HUUUUH?"

And that is where things continued to be all heated up. Chairs, tables and clothes; heck even underwear kept flying in the air. Pretty much a bar fight, like Shin said. The same 'ol Fairy Tail, he supposed. "What the heck is wrong with this guild?" Was the question of the new one, and Apple could only put his thumbs up. Everything is okay, a friendly routine you could say was the sign suppose to mean. Saying anything won't do as the shouting began to get louder every second and as Apple is rather soft-spoken he didn't even try to speak. Therefore he only pushed him into the brawl which eventually caught him inside. That's probably the best introduction to Fairy Tail. Ahh, wasn't he such a genius? The blue haired newbie winked Apple over, saying he wanted him to help but Apple just winked back. Yes, yes, he was such a genius. No need to thank him. It was a pleasure to help out.

Oh, Reisha. Apple noticed the female dragon slayer up on the first level and waved to her with enthusiasm. Such a beautiful woman, Apple couldn't help but eye every inch of her body with blank bewitchment. Somehow it felt like a scene from Rapunzel, he noticed as he blinked several times. She up there, glancing down to him, Romeo in hope he can free him. What drama, what setting. Apple was fascinated by his own imagination. Wanting to share his thought, he turned to Art... and saw that. For several seconds it seemed that he was truly shocked by what he saw. Honest. For the usually emotionless Apple to show a look of surprise within his face... was caused by no other by Art, who had the leather surround her neck with a golden bell like a cat its collar.

Image

"... A sexy cat." He mumbled before slowly approaching her. The scenery was practically killing him. This was just not normal. He was on the brink of getting a nosebleed, to be exact. It felt like something was born within him; yes, his sadistic side. Although not really. What is clear simply was the fact that Apple started to run to Art's direction and hugged her tightly, buried his head into the warmth of her breasts. "Keep wearing that. It suits you very much. Very much. Very much..." He mumbled and glanced up to her full anticipation whilst his eyes sparkled. "And welcome back, Art." He sweetly said with a faint smile only meant for those he adored the most as he let go and put out a plastic bag full of sweets. "Gift for you." However, before handing it over he stared at the bag, as he opened it, opened the plastic that was wrapped around it and offered it to Art like he would to a cat. "Here Art, lookie, your favourite." There was a strong gaze from the other guild members, probably saying in their thoughts 'Ahh they're at it again'. Well what do you expect? There's no way to ressist seeing Art like that. So cute, so pretty... Apple could feel his body temperature rising.

He'll get a nosebleed for sure now.

A cloaked figure with a bear cub on his back gazed up to the guild sign. Even outside the guild he could hear the shouting and the fighting inside. Smiling softly, although that's his default face, he hummed and strolled up to push the door open. That S-class quest took a whole month to fulfill, and boy is he tired. Hopefully he can just walk through and read, specially since Minor is sleeping. Wouldn't want anything or anyone to wake up his baby, his smile took an edge to it.
Image

As M. stands in front of the door, someone flies through the door and hits M. right on the chest and sends them both tumbling down. Minor wakes up with a squeak and a cry of fear once she realizes that she fell off of M's shoulders. M. flips himself over, covering Minors body with his own and tumbled down the short flight of stairs. The man who flew out the door was the blue haired newbie. The people responsible for launching the poor boy were now silent and shaking, they were dead. Minor was crying softly and nuzzling M. while he tries to comfort her. Resorting to cooing to her, M. turned around and let his tired and irked aura loom over the poor saps that dared to make his baby cry. Now usually he would have the patience of a saint, but he's tired and he needs to be alone. Now is not the time to test his patience.
Image

M. stooped to pick up the boy and heave him up by his collar, his toes skimming the pavement. Humming in irritation he walked inside the guild, the crowd giving him a pathway. Walking briskly an arm securing a sleepy and sniffling Minor on one side and carrying a dizzy and slipping in and out of consciousness blue haired troublemaker. Making his way to the guild master he hissed out a long sigh, he was really not in the mood for this. Hopping on the tables, he managed to avoid most of the scuffling bodies and flying furniture and sometimes people.

Looking to the side he saw Apple fawning over The Artist again. Chuckling lowly he flipped, making a small bag of sweets fall out his pocket and kicked in the direction of the artist.

Landing in front of the Master with his cloak hitched up he said. "Master, I've finished my quest. I have to say i need some rest and this is not what i thought it would start out as," He rummaged around for the sack of sweets for the master. "They managed to upset Minor and i'm afraid i have to go for a while to calm her down."

Amidst the chaos of the main hall slipped a small shape, who nervously dodged between the flying tables, chairs, and bodies as yet another typical brawl erupted amongst the assembled guild members. But although she moved amidst this rather spectacular scene of violence, nobody seemed to notice her or pay her any mind.

Aina smiled faintly, clutching her tome tightly as she ducked to avoid a blast of ice from one of the battling mages, then hastily sidestepped as his opponent rejoined with his own magic. The rune-inscribed slip of parchment hanging from the crescent ornament adorning her hat seemed to be working, since nobody had actually seen her or tried to deliberately attack her.

Using the command "The person wearing this rune will not be percieved," might have seemed like a bit of overkill, no matter how socially awkward she might have been, just for a trip to the request board. But considering last time she'd tried moving amidst one of these Fairy Tail barfights, somebody had thrown a table at her, she'd decided it would be best to just stay out of people's notice for the time being.

It seemed that today was lively as ever. Miss Artist had just finished assaulting a new kid over stealing her caramels, and the incorrigible frog-boy was trying to cuddle her like always. The Guild Master, meanwhile, was unleashing an unholy beating on pretty much anyone who got near him. With a loud crash, somebody plowed through a row of tables and skidded past the invisible bookworm, forcing her to sidestep to evade a shower of broken pieces of furniture.

"It's no wonder furniture shops here have such low prices. They can afford to, with the amount of replacements we have to buy every week..." Murmured the girl as she stepped gingerly over the fallen combatant and towards the request board. Looking over it, she searched for a quest that might be within her capabilities.

"Let's see... Defeat a monster that's been plaguing Balsam... Apprehend a group of bandits...? As usual, they're all combat quests..." She sighed dejectedly. "There's no way I could handle something like this..." She said gloomily, turning to skulk away. She'd just go to the library and read some books. Maybe there'd be an easier quest for her to do later.

To her surprise, however, she turned directly into a rather tall cloaked figure. Her rune to keep people from noticing her would prevent him from feeling much of an impact, but she, light as she was, found herself stumbling backward and falling shamefacedly on her rear. It was a good thing nobody could see her right now, or else she'd probably have been the laughingstock of the whole guild. She sighed again, her voice heard only by herself as her rune continued to mask her presence. Rising to her feet, she shuffled gloomily out of the hall, leaving what was by now a combat zone as the last of the power of her rune fizzled out, returning her to visibility. Wandering down the hall, she headed into the guild's humble library to find some reading material, since she'd already finished the books she'd last borrowed.

She sighed again as she wandered amongst the shelves, selecting a few interesting-looking books as she passed. As usual, she hadn't even found a quest she could do to contribute to the guild. Maybe she should have just given up and quit. It was becoming abundantly clear that she wasn't being of any use around here, in any case. Heading over into the corner, she had intended to take a seat and read a bit before heading out to go shopping for her day's lunch, but it seemed that here, too, her plans were thwarted. Somebody had already claimed the corner seat.

"Oh..." She murmured gloomily. "S-sorry to bother you." Stammering this quick apology, she turned to leave. Today just wasn't her day...

Lilly was eating her usual daily sweets when she encountered the cutest little boutique in town. It was called, Kawaii Chic. She freaked out because they were having an opening day sale and she must have a bunch of the clothes. She ran into the store with excitement as she saw beautiful dresses, shirts, skirts, pants, and shoes. She practically screamed in excitement. She ran over to at least thirty outfits, tried them on, saw which ones looked best on her, and bought them. By the time she was done shopping, the store was missing about twenty percent of the merchandise they had for sale. "Thank you for shopping at Kawaii Chic!" The lady at the cash register said as Lilly exited what she though was the cutest little shop. She might have to come here with Art to go and pick out some cute clothes.

As she skipped around town holding her new clothes, she saw a really cute dog running in the direction of the guild hall. She was so mesmerized by it that she blindly ran after it, not even knowing where she was going. Luckily, it was headed toward the guild hall. As she ran after it, she accidentally ran into someone. Fortunately, it was Art. Unfortunately, that weird Apple kid was there too. She finally noticed that the dog that was once cute and small turned into a human and she finally figured out that the dog was actually a mage within Fairy Tail. She sighed. Then, she looked up at Art and gave the biggest smile ever. "OMG! You will not believe what I found while I was in town! I found the cutest little shop and I bought lots of clothes! Here! See! See!" She laughed as she held out some very cute clothes that suited her extremely well. She noticed a beer mug flying through the air and as it was about to hit her, she dodged it by simply side-stepping the mug. She put the clothes away right after and turned toward the guild master. "Art... I have something I need to give the guild master really quick!" She started moving towards the guild master without hearing Art's response. "GUILD MASTER! GUILD MASTER! I BROUGHT YOU MARSHMALLOWS!" She ran over to him faster than a squirrel on a sugar high. She held out the bag of marshmallows as she smiled.

Kenan sat in a corner of the guild as he napped, letting his legs rest on one of the tabletops as he sat in one of the chairs in a back corner of the main hall. He had been resting for a few hours, but he didn't have a team and he wanted to set one up. But... He didn't feel like doing that right now. He was too tired and wanted to rest. He rested for a while until the racket of a bar fight had woken him up. He was furious. People had interrupted his only time to nap today. He slowly got up from his table in the corner. A piece of broken furniture lodged itself into the wall behind Kenan and he decided he wouldn't get mixed up in this fight, even though he would be able to vent his anger through busting a few heads open, but he was sure that it was a better decision to make a trip to the quest board. He looked it over and saw something that he might find intriguing if he had a team, but since he didn't... That quest was of no use to him. Fighting bandits on his own might not be an issue, but honestly seemed like a bit much for him to handle. He wouldn't admit that of course, but he didn't think he could do it nonetheless.

After a few minutes of staring at countless numbers of quests, he gave up. He didn't find anything that specifically suited his expertise... besides fighting a monster, bandits, or any other creature. Fighting was getting boring and he wanted to try something new... Something fresher. Which of course... he needed a team for. He wanted people like him in his team, strong and determined. He looked around the room at the different kinds of characters that could make up his team.

First, he examined Art. She seemed like his type and she was a very good combatant. He had crossed paths with her once while she was at the quest board. He was slightly angered by her... but he couldn't help but be somewhat attracted to her in some strange way.

Second, he examined Lilly. It seemed like she was the type that was very bubbly, but he'd seen her get serious on one of the few missions that she completed and he was astonished by what he power could do also. He knew she didn't fit his bill, but when it comes to fighting he was sure that he could depend on her when it counted.

Third, was Apple. He seemed like a socially awkward kid and from what he heard, he shared just about the same powers as Art. He didn't much about him other than that. But from what it seemed like... The kid was not someone he wanted on his team.

Fourth, M. He was extremely mysterious, but he was S-Class. He doubted that an S-Class would pair up with someone like him.

Fifth, Princess. She seemed like they would make a good pair. He didn't think much about her though. She was an extremely passionate and determined wizard, but he wasn't so sure if she would work with him either.

With that, he walked back over to his table and sat down, listening to the bar fight go on and trying to drown it out so he could get some sleep.

ImageThe morning started out like most. Hibiki awoke from a nightmare muttering the words, don't forget, to himself. Sweat washed down his face so he got up and started to clean himself up. The sun still yet to rise though that was a typical morning, after spending some time to get changed since his took a little more work then most attires. Still looking presentable was important and so when he was done he walked over to the corner of his room and slipped a rose out of a batch. It was a weird habit that he picked up, giving the first loveliest maiden to catch his eye in the morning a rose. Just as he started to walk out the door he picked up his violin case that was laid gently next to the door, setting out just as the sun started to rise.

Hibiki always like to set out early since it gave him a chance to get to the guild hall and grab a seat before any ruff housing began. Just before getting to the guild hall he stopped by a stand with a marvelous looking women setting up her stall preparing for the day to come. Hibiki appeared beside her so abruptly it made her heart skip a beat, almost just as quick he dropped to one knee and took her hand. For anyone who didn't know Hibiki this situation with a handsome man in a suit on one knee might give off the wrong impression, but everyone in the town knew what kind of person he is. Pulling out his rose and placing it in her hand Hibiki stared straight into her eyes. "Mademoiselle, might I say you look ravishing this morning and I would love it if you would have dinner with me sometime." He said without a blink or hesitation. She looked back at him and smiles "Thank you, but just like two weeks I'm still married nothings changed since then." She replied with a slight giggle. Hibiki's head dropped until his eyes met the pavement and after a moment he breathed in and withdrew his hands, standing back up in an instant and gave a slow bow. "I understand." came out slow and with a slight sigh from his mouth. He dragged himself away as she smiled and waved goodbye, though this was customary for women in Magnolia when Hibiki was around and most saw it as nothing more then a harmless gesture.

By the time he arrived at the guild hall the morning had only recently risen and when the doors were swung open only a few inhabited the rooms of Fairy Tale. Strangely for someone who hated the brawls and messes made by everyone he always opted to sit in the center of the room. Claiming his spot Hibiki unlatched his violin case, for those who had never seen inside his case it was a larger then average case with a special section for his violin and a second for everything needed to make a batch of tea. With care he one by one pulled everything out and whipped together a batch, which he gently poured into a cup which looked as if it was worth a fortune and it was indeed since he spent money on few other things.

As time went on more and more flooded into fill the space soon voices filled the halls and laughter could be heard from all over though it didn't take long before someone started something. It had seemed Art had returned and with that was a harsh lesson for the person who attempted to take her caramel. Soon the room was engulfed with yelling and smashing of chairs and tables almost as if it was a war zone, but that was the normal with Fairy Tale. Still Hibiki sat silently at his table humming a sweet song to himself, though as he hum the area around him seemed to form a sphere, with the air crackling and seeming distorted in a way. As people threw chairs and tables anything that made contact with his personal bubble shattered sending the pieces away from him. It was a little trick he picked up quickly as to make sure he was undisturbed when drinking his tea, sip by sip he slowly drank it down which lucky for everyone else kept him calm or he would have gave them all a good smack and made them clean up the mess. Though it seemed a lot of people were returning from their trips all of a sudden. The room slowly got packed with familiar faces, the guild master being.....well himself causing a ruckus, the princess looking stunning as always. Apple had slipped in and as expected rushed over to Art, while some others had slipped in and back out just as quick before so much as a glance could stolen. With not much left to do Hibiki got up and looked outside into the bright sky and decided today would be a good day to play a song. And so he did, slipping past everyone crowding at the door and pulling out his beloved violin, he began to play a song and like always you could hear more then a violin play, and amazing it sounded.

Even though both of his eyes were closed, he could tell that someone was getting closer and he decided to keep both of his eyes closed. He heard a familiar voice speak. I apologize for the intrusion, Kenan. He opened one of his eyes as if to say, It's fine. I was already awake. I would like to ask if you are interested in joining me in a certain quest. He watched her hold up a piece of paper that showed a job that required some wizards to help escort a certain item in Oak Town. He looked at it with interest. This might be a chance to form a team, but he was't sure whether or not Princess was a team player or not. I guess this was his way of finding out. He sighed. He put his feet off of the table and sat up. "I suppose it wouldn't hurt. I was looking for a job earlier, so I guess I should be glad that you came along." He stood up and looked Princess over. She was always polite and she pretty much charmed every person. Including him. He wouldn't admit it out loud, but he thought that Princess wasn't half bad. She had a personality that was alluring to him, even though most people may be driven away from her because of her extreme rule following and strictness, but he honestly didn't mind. He was happy he got to spend time on a job with her. He might actually be able to make a team despite most everyone being scared of him.

"When do you plan on leaving? If it's now, I'm pretty much already ready, so if that's the case. We should get moving." Secretly, he was hoping no one else was coming along. He was hoping that he would get to see a different of Princess from what he usually sees.

Lilly looked at the Guild Master as she blushed. As she looked at him, she didn't even notice that Princess had been walking towards the guild master. As she noticed, she quickly moved out of the way. Princess was not someone that she needed to be overly cheery around. She seemed like the type who might get annoyed by her behavior and she didn't want to test that theory. "Pardon me, Lilly. M. Minor." She looked at Princess as she said that. Lilly security thought that a more suitable name for her was "Ice Princess" but she dared not to laugh in front of Princess. She was always so cold towards others. Lilly was constantly on edge when she was around. She looked at the guild master right before he left. "Bye bye Guild Master!" She waved as she put on a cheery smile. She watched as Princess walked over to Kenan and showed him a piece of paper. She wondered if this would turn into a bad situation but she was shocked when Kenan had stood up and didn't start a fight with her. She jaw dropped as she watched Kenan be awoken from a nap and he just brushed it off like it was nothing. This was a historic moment. She saved this image in her mind as she thought how Princess did it. If anyone else ever woke him from a nap... Well... They received a beating that put them closer to death than ever before. She was close to experiencing this... Luckily she tripped on something on the floor and got knocked out. Her head hurt after that incident, but it's gotten better. She decided to run back over to Art because she felt like she wanted some candy. "Hey Art... Can I have one of your caramels? Pretty please!" She tried to make the cutest puppy face in the history of puppy faces. She waited for Art's response. If she said no though, she was going to take a caramel anyway because she knew that Art would forgive her... She hoped.

Amidst the noise of her pawing at her tinkling little bell that was as golden as her eyes and the battle royale taking place behind her was a very familiar sound. Her poor little Apple Pie and his lack of whistling ability, the most basic of abilities. She didn't turn her head simply because there was no need to. Her green haired friend was soon piled into her lap with his face buried deep within her breasts, his arms around her tightly. She gave a light smirk and patted his head gently with a gleam in her eyes. “Oh, you like?” Of course he did; Apple adored everything about her. The two of them seemed to have hit it off the moment they met. Well, actually, he had taken a shine to her before she had to him. She could recall quite perfectly the first time they'd met.

Image

Five years ago...

The forest was an absolutely wonderful place and it was where The Artist felt most at home. It wasn't as large as the forest Thornieux raised her in but it didn't matter because it was still a forest nonetheless. And almost more than anything, she loved the hot springs sprinkled around the forest. She would often to retreat to them and seek solace there to think. This particular little slice of heaven was her own private spot that she wouldn't let even her guild mates go near. It was concealed beneath the hanging branches of a great willow tree bearing delicate and multiple beautiful pink leaves and silver flowers that made a thick curtain that would part for her and close behind her. It would take most people a good three minutes to push through. Well, it would if the tree didn't lash out, wrap up, and toss away anyone but her that would try to go through. On this particular day she discarded all of her clothes and slipped into the steaming waters, sinking in until the water went up to her chin. She had just gotten back into town after dealing with a large pack of Lizardmen that had migrated towards an old village being studied by archaeologists - She tended to take a lot of jobs for archaeologists because she liked their line of work and often got paid with cool antiques. The water was relaxing and she all but lost herself in it. It wasn't until she had stepped out an hour later that she discovered she was being spied on. There was a flash of green and white as a branch snapped and a figure fell from the tree, landing at her feet. Glaring, she immediately placed a foot on his throat.

“Wheet-whoo!”
“...Excuse me?”
“You're The Artist!”
“Thank you, Captain Obvious... How did you get past the tree?”
“Magic.”
“What magic?”
“Earth God Slayer!”
“...Impressive.. Next time you want a peek, just ask. Dipshit. You ever come back here without my permission and I'll kill you.”
“Yes ma'am!

She beat the shit out of the younger Apple as he gratefully accepted it with a smile and nosebleed and dragged him out afterward only for him to later show up and announce that she was his favorite guild mate. It took a year or so but she finally did warm up to him and they developed a relationship that was just about as uncomfortable for the others as their guild master's behavior towards them most times. Or at least it was so for the more squeamish, prude, and modest members. It didn't really faze either of them though. Art was very much pro self-expression. Of course she had her limits, but even within those limits some thought her to be extremely crass. She wasn't a highly sexual person when it came to most people but if you ever put her in the same room as Apple, Shin, Hibiki, or Kidemonas and it was on. She wasn't crushing on any of them, not that she knew of, but she enjoyed making Kide squirm and entertaining the other three with over saturated antics of love and lust.

Her eyes lit up more when her lips curved into a wide smile that revealed sharp cuspids as he offered her a bag of candy even then offering to hand feed a piece to her. Before she could take it she could see another flying at her from M.'s kick. Grinning, she reached out and snatched it with a nod of appreciation before looking back at Apple. He was practically quivering with excitement. He was always this way when she returned from a job even if only lasted a day. He was even more excited when he came back from his own jobs. Whenever he actually did them. Her longest job to date had her gone for three years. It was one that she was often questioned about but she would never talk about.

Smirking, she pushed him away from her breasts to tuck in the bag from M. to save for later. Her head bent down and she curled her tongue around the candy, pulling it into her mouth. Tucking it in the back of her mouth between her cheek and teeth, she leaned forward so that her lips brushed against his ear gently. “Meow.” In a swift motion, she shoved him out of her lap and onto the floor. She grabbed hold of a grey and white egg that was given to her... Well. She sort of stole it. She had tried to barter for it but they wouldn't give it up. She didn't mind going to jail. Again. But she didn't have much time to inspect it before Lilly came bouncing in about some boutique and outfits and whatever else before she disappeared. Lilly was another Dragon Slayer. She hadn't been in the guild but for a few months but she was slowly growing on The Artist. By the time Lilly had bounced away she was ready to inspect the egg again but stopped short.

Hibiki was playing his music.

Art was an extremely confident woman. Why shouldn't she be? She excelled in everything that she did and was adored by many. She had reached S-Class at the tender age of nineteen after failing the first trial during her first year in Fairy Tail. She was the guild's only female S-Class and she liked to think of herself as a role model. She was, after all, training both Lilly and Apple. She was especially confident when it came to her art related talents. She could sing and dance better than any other in Fiore, sculpt, draw, paint, write, act and so much more and put "the best" to shame. She was a true virtuoso. Her capability to compose music was near unmatched, as was her ability to play instruments. She felt inferior to nobody. Not in art. Not in combat. Not in anything.

But...

When Hibiki played...

She couldn't feel any more inferior in her talent. His skills were so beautiful that she nearly cried upon hearing him play for the first time. She would never again play an instrument around him or even so much as dare to touch one even though he would compliment her. She felt like a child who'd played terribly out of tune and he was like a master of the craft simply giving her pity to encourage her. His music forced her to feel more passionately, as she had when she was but a child training with her papa dragon. She bowed her head and cradled the egg to her as he played, mumbling a song under her breath where none could hear her. She recalled Hibiki asking her to play with a few times but she would always refuse. She would sing and dance to his music... But never play alongside him.

She cuddled her egg, burying her face against the thick shell that had some strange sort of fuzz...or down...or fur. It was so soft yet hard. She was lost in the music so much that she hadn't noticed The Princess making her announcement. Not that she would have paid much mind anyways. She didn't dislike Reisha and actually had quite a bit of respect for her. She simply didn't tend to pay much mind because when The Princess addressed everyone as a group it was usually something about behaving, being polite, cleaning up something, or some other trivial matter that The Artist didn't care for. However, their Guild Master caught her attention and she gave a light nod, her gently dazed expression becoming a coy and seductive one as she "caught" his blown kiss, placing her middle and index finger against his lips.

Just as she stood to go to the S-Class job board, Lilly had bounced over to beg for some of her caramels. “You haven't earned my caramels.” She spoke of the sweets that she was now packing up along with everything else as though it were her heart. There was a slight slur to her tone, as she over salivated a bit from the multiple candies tucked between her teeth and cheeks. She made her way towards the balcony, taking one giant leap that took her to the top, offering Hibiki a wave midair. The second floor was another place she went to think. The other S-Class Wizards didn't bother her there and they were the only other ones allowed up there. she quickly snatched the highest paying job before walking back to the balcony, taking a seat on the rail with her legs crossed, waving the paper. “Lill. Apple Pie. Go start packing; Include some swimwear. We're going to go training.” She wasn't asking. Her head then turned to scan the crowd, her lips pursing a bit. “I need one more person! Maybe two! No one under Rank B! The reward is ten million! Any volunteers?” Of course with the reward being so high nearly everyone wanted to join. But with it being an S-Class job with a high price that meant it was more dangerous. She let her eyes scan the crowd with a thoughtful expression, her fingers curling tighter around her egg.

Lilly wanted to cry. Art didn't let her have one of her caramels. Her plan was to take one of her caramels whether she said not or not, but the way Art responded to her made her want to fall on the ground and throw a fit. She didn't though because she knew Art would lose respect for her if she did. She let a few tears escape her eyes and then just sat down at one of the nearby tables. The words echoed in her head, You haven't earned my caramels. She sat in a little moment of despair before she heard Art call out from the second floor. Lil. Apple Pie. Go start packing; Include some swimwear. We're going training. She immediately sprung up and had a big smile across her face. She yelled back to Art. "Okay Art! I'm going to pack my cutest outfit and work my hardest!" Lilly then ran out of the guild over to her house that wasn't far from the guild. She ran as fast as she could and arrived at her house within a minute or two. She ran inside her house and went through all of her clothes and added the clothes she bought that day to her wardrobe. She picked out a super, duper, cute swimsuit, added a few cute dresses, and some cute shirts and pants. She closed the suitcase she had and ran into her bathroom to get a few beauty products. She grabbed her conditioner, shampoo, body wash, and other things that she thought she might need for the trip. I wonder where we're going? She thought to herself. But honestly, she didn't care. She was sad she didn't get to see the guild master though. He was always so nice and she thought he treated her with more kindness than anyone.

She finished packing everything she thought she needed in her suitcase and made her way out of the house and back towards the guild. She was excited to get stronger through her training with Art. She was teaching her how to manipulate plants through their water and it was actually very interesting. She wasn't very good at it, but she was hoping that she would quickly master the skill. When the guild finally came in sight, she was curious and excited to see what this adventure had in store for her, Art, Apple, and anyone else that comes along with them.

He was tired. His face is emotionless except for his eyes which convey tiredness. He barely slept when he was at his mission, master did say to rest. He can't rest yet though, he saw an interesting request on the S-class board. One that gives a golden key. Hopefully it's the one he's looking for, the only one missing from his comrades. The cat, who's often overlooked and forgotten. The thirteenth key.

Pushing himself up, he strolled out with a book under his arms to the request board. Pulling off the paper, he read the details. There wasn't much on it, just the reward and a client.

'Secret of the Lupine,' he folded it and slid it in between the pages he was reading. 'That's a good reward, although i'll probably just give most of the money to someone else.'

Looking up at the sound of a voice, he saw Art wave a paper around gathering everyones attention. She has the right idea, maybe he should ask someone to go with him. 'If I could only find someone who can interpret most of my hums' he smiled in amusement.

Walking back to the library, he started singing a song he learned up from the north. It hangs and glides around the air, with his voice rising and falling like waltz. It gives the feeling of being out in a forest at night, with the stars above you. The words are in a language not commonly spoken here. M. sings the song whenever he feels homesick and or tired.

The song ended just as he touched the door to the library. He remembered that there were some people in the library. Smiling more naturally at this discovery, he opened the door. He pulled down his cloak to reveal his face and spoke to them.
"Pardon me, but would any of you care to accompany me in this quest?" Wow. That's a lot of words from him today, but he guessed he might as well be clear. Looking around with a pleasant smile but the rest of his face is monotonous, except there's a curious spark in his eyes. "Anyone is welcome. I'm afraid i need some assistance with this one."

The sound of music was always something nice to quite the mind and body. As well it always put a smile on people's faces which just had such a satisfying feel. Not to long after he started playing the princess walked over and complimented his playing bowed and took her leave almost just as quick. He would have conversed with her, but it seemed as if she already had her mind on something else so he gave a slight bow back and continued to play. Playing music was always so relaxing in a way that it felt as if he was in a trance with the instrument playing him. Just as the song was coming to a close the Guild Master was strolling on out. While Hibiki has no shame and flaunts his flirtatiousness without even realizing it when a Shin makes flirtatious gesture towards him it creeps Hibiki out even if it is made as a joke So like normal when Shin strolled on out being flirtatious towards him, be it joking or not shivers were sent down his spine.

Just as he was about to walk in a small group of people walked by carrying instruments in hand. He has always, for what he can remember, been good at playing instruments by the time he had meet another musician he was really good in a way almost too good. He always compared his situation to that of a play. You have your main actor who gets the lead and the spotlight is all on him everyone loves to watch him perform, but the other actors are good maybe even great, but he is just better so everyone talks behind his back and avoids him if they can. That's how Hibiki has felt his whole life everyone avoids playing with him be it because they fear being shown up or they just don't feel they can match him. It's hard on him, but as long as his music can bring smiles to others he will continue through all the pain it causes.

Hibiki turned towards the center of the guild hall thinking of what he would do next. Just as he turned he noticed Art heading up to the second floor in a more express fashion. She waved at him on her way up and he casually returned it with a smile and a nod. Slowly packing away his violin Hibiki returned to his seat and sat back enjoying just watching everyone go about their daily routine. Though just as he started to get comfortable in his chair Art came back and said something to Apple and Lilly then asked the whole room if anyone would want to join in.

While Hibiki has always loved to help people, being a part of a team has just not been his style for one specific reason. After getting into a few intense fights, Hibiki realized that he seems to lose control over himself when fights get real or even just semi interesting. It's a side of him that he is highly ashamed of since it makes him appear as if he's a demon. Though he's lucky only a few people actually know. One of course is Shin who was the first besides himself to learn about that side of him and the others are the S-Class mages of the guild Kidemonas, M. Ursa, and Art who each has been in a situation where that side comes out sadly. For that reason mainly is why most every job Hibiki has done by himself as to avoid a situation where he loses control. Though it was about time he start trying to mix better with others instead of go it alone.

Slowly Hibiki stood up and looked up at Art with a smile. "If you are looking for assistance I'm always ready to help someone as lovely as yourself.", He said loud enough to drown out the chit chat or any others trying to offer their assistance.

Art was different than any other female member of Fairy Tail, but of course not only that made her worth admiring. Apple got it at the first time he settled his eyes on her. At first it was mere curiosity, but soon changed to a relationship that can, well, better be described as unique rather than healthy getting along. Though one better not see it as healthy. Apple loved her. Really. Apple's kind of love if you know what I mean. An hourglass body, soft flawless skin and a lovely fragrance she always seem to have on her; unbelievably alluring. The direct touch of her skin and the soft feeling as he cuddled close to her and more importantly, as he buried his face into the pride of women; the breasts. At least that's as far as Apple's opinion went. To her question, Apple answered with a nod, still concentrating on the awesome service he received from her and thus not paying attention to anything that happened surround him. Not until her breath tickled his ear and she actually did what Apple was hoping for: She meowed. It was as if a lightening struck him; with such an impact it hit him that the fact seconds afterward he fell with a loud bang down on the floor (his heavy hat was mostly the reason why the fall sounded so hard) was not the slightest perceivable. Well, there was also the fact that when hanging around Art you just had to have to bear with some sort of pain definitely.

Apple is by no means self-aware. However, it did not require such to know that no one in the Guild find his activities particularly threatening (from what he had heard). It was obvious: They did not see him as a grown-up man. Well, Apple figured that he did not appear as a 25 years old, and never it particularly bothered him. In fact, through his appearance he was able to enjoy things where as a grown up man he would have been scolded, chased out, or beaten up. Regardless that being the case at times when he pursued his 'passion', it was not as near as when an ugly old man would be beaten when he goes peeping on girls in the hot spring. Honestly, he would prefer to be arrested whilst only to show the world how serious he was about it. Yeah, he was serious. Serious about how he at times wanted to keep Art for himself. Although he was positive that he had gained a special place beside her, there were countless of others who somehow felt like having the same rank in Art's eyes. For instance, Lilly Sprout.

Talk of the devil, and her imp appeared. Alright, it was not meant rude like Apple so often was apprehended, but honestly Apple did not like her. And he noticed, Lilly did not either. Yet she acted cheerful and approached Art and talked about stuff a new shop whatever. Apple blinked. He did not know that shop. Well, it was not like he was often around the shopping districts seeing he was broke all the time and could consider himself lucky when he got three meals a day, but he still loved fashion and clothes and liked to see them to perhaps encounter a chance to snatch them away. Or with other words stealing, but Apple prefer not to classify his 'passion drived' actions as degrading as stealing. After all, he could offer the clothes a better place so why the heck not? And honestly, who invited the rule to pay for the clothes which eventually end up in the trash can, unappreciated. He demanded justice!

Image

Back from his try for self-righteousness to the story, Lilly quickly disappeared once again to somewhere, Apple did not particulary care, as a beautiful sound along all the screaming and shouting and beating was heard. A beautiful sound of the violin he recognized. Of course who would not? There was no other than Hibiki who played such gentle tune in such a perfect way that however did not sound rigid, but truly from the heart. Apple loved to listen to it, but he loved more to sing to it. However not really knowing what to sing, he often just went Da-Da-Da or Humm-Humm-Humm that through his soft voice couldn't really be heard. Yet he was just happy and enjoyed the music thoroughly, that he ended up too relaxed on the floor, laying down in his most comfortable position and thus blocked the way for others to pass. Not like he cared though.

As much as he adored Hibiki though, there was still some sort of on-the-guard position because like Lilly, he saw Hibiki as potential rival for Art's favourite. Well, he was not as threatening as Shin was however. Shin made his advanced apparent and that in a way Apple would say was a bit embarrassing, but as Art took it seriously and even answered to it, Apple couldn't really pass them as mere joke. While he wanted to stand up again, silence was brought into the room by no other than Reisha. Honestly, Apple believed that the title 'Princess' won't suit no one other as well as it suited Reisha. She was basically the picture of a real princess, although that somehow made a certain distance apparent. He broke such every time though when he pursued his 'passion'.

Looking for Art, he quickly slipped through the crowds, truly did not want to help clearing the mess. It was true that he was one of the reasons it started, but what he did was minor when regard the whole. It was a fact that he did not fight along and break things. On top of it, he hated to work. So he stole himself away from the crowd and climbed up to where Art was. That, until Art declared that they were going to train with a tone of voice like it was already determined. Shit. Training meant work, and work meant exhaustion. Exhaustion was tiring and was nothing that Apple desired. Although...

Hibiki then announced that he was willing to come along. So, with two S-Class Mages... perhaps it would make his workload lesser? After considering that, he quickly shook his head. No can do. Even when his financial situation was as pathetic as never. "Art... ehmm... got to do... with... hmm... I can't go along because..." Honestly, Apple could not be more obvious. He was a bad liar, everyone knew that, but it was rather admiring how so very poorly his skills in that department were. As he was tired of thinking too much he jumped to Hibiki and patted him on the shoulder (with quite a bit of effort having the difference of height to be quite something). "Your music is as beautiful as ever. And so I leave everything to you, friend." The latter sentence he stated in an overly serious manner that somehow sounded like 'Good luck, poor you' as at the same second he went off the second floor with one powerful jump right to the Guild's entrance. Not looking back, part a little bit scared, he ran off as quickly as he could in hope Art wouldn't catch up to him.

Along the way he passed Lilly who brought along her suitcase. She seemed quite excited. Despite Apple having a some kind of dislike towards her behaviours around Art, Apple couldn't really say she was ugly. Cute would hit it off better, but still no where in Art's level. For that, her body was still a kid, so his opinion. Well whatever. Apple winked slightly to her - of course without expression like always, as he seem not to be capable to express anything with his face - and made his way to somewhere crowded, yeah, he might as well check out the shop Lilly was talking about! But anywhere is fine, if it was not working his ass off or even worse, getting involved in those tiring fights. Not to mention the training he went through with Art in the past was simply put: Hell. No can do.

The Artist gave a somewhat gentle smile as Lilly exitedly took off to get ready with little hesitation. Her eyes again scanned the crowd of worthy companions until Hibiki stood and spoke up. Her smile grew a bit wider as she blew the well-dressed man a kiss. “Oh, darling. I feel so much safer knowing you'll be around to save me if I should face death. I need only your promise that if I shall die, I shall die in your arms.” She proclaimed this in a tone as though he were Romeo and she were Juliet, the very air about her becoming more grandiose as she closed her eyes and placed a hand over her heart. She smiled and turned her head as Apple approached before taking off with some lame excuse. She lifted a brow and watched him run. Oh, no. She didn't think so.

She leapt down from her post and called up to Hibiki. “Get ready and we meet on the west end of town. We head for Hargeon Docks.” Blowing another kiss, she ran out the door, shouting out “requip”. In a flash of green light and a flurry of red petals her equipment changed and she now donned a more tribal attire, quite scantily clad. As her load was lightened, she sped up and ran quite fast for being in heeled boots. It was an art. She passed by Lilly, spotting Apple just ahead. Smirking, she launched herself into the air. She landed in front of him and immediately launched a kick to stop him before he got any further. “If you don't come along you will never lay hands on my breasts again,” she threatened.

Apple was a good fighter and a good mage. But he could be better. As his mentor and elder it was her job to help him fulfill his potential. The man was lazy until he had good motivation. Her buxom build seemed to be quite the motivation tool. If she had to train naked with him to get him focused, she would. She'd done it before. But she had a different idea this time around to stir both he and Lilly further into action.

As Lilly ran up to the guild, she saw Apple who stuck his tongue out at her as he ran by. She took that as a rude gesture. Why is he so mean to me all the time? She sighed. Then she saw Art come out the front doors. Her eyes immediately lit up. "ART! ART! I GOT EVERYT-" It appeared that Art was ignoring her for the moment. She continued to run off towards Apple. She sat there with tears in her eyes as Art ran after Apple. Why would Art leave her like this? She could be so mean sometimes...

She walked into the guild and saw Hibiki. Hibiki was always really nice to her... Actually, he was nice to everyone. She wanted to see what he was like in battle sometime. She smiled as she walked over to him. "Hi Hibiki!" She sounded as cheerful as ever. "Did you hear that I'm going on a job with Art? I think it will be so much fun!" She did a little twirl as she said that, thinking about what she imagined would be some kind of beach paradise vacation. She imagined her and Art in bikinis running around getting all kinds of cute guys to run after them. She shivered at the excitement that was boiling inside her. She looked up at Hibiki. She had a huge smile across her face. "Are you thinking of going on a job soon?" She didn't leave time for him to answer the last question she asked him. She stared up at him in anticipation as she awaited his answer.

A hand quickly passed along his shoulder answering a quick check to be made. Spinning around Apple came right into view. "Your music is as beautiful as ever. And so I leave everything to you, friend." He said with the same face he always wears. With a quick nod, Hibiki thanked him for the kind compliment. People began to bustle around again after they noticed that the offer was clearly taken off the table the second Hibiki offered his services. Across the room Art blew a kiss which Hibiki exaggeratedly accepts in a manner that fits him taking the role of a prince ready to save a princess.

“Oh, darling. I feel so much safer knowing you'll be around to save me if I should face death. I need only your promise that if I shall die, I shall die in your arms.” Art proclaimed to Hibiki. Almost as if they had rehearsed it prior to the moment he dropped to one knee raising a hand up. "Oh my beloved. Don't think such thoughts, I would never allow anything to harm you." He replied with a smile. Art leaping down, Hibiki stood up dusting off his knee as she blew him another kiss while heading out the door leaving only a quick comment on where to meet before they set off.

After making sure his violin was neatly packed their wasn't much left he needed for trips. His suit was the only form of clothes he needed and with his violin on hand and a tea set within the case he was already to head out without a moment wasted. Though just as he was prepared to leave a voice poked through the noisy crowed guild hall. Closing in he could hear a hello shifting through the crowed as Lilly appeared before him. "Did you hear that I'm going on a job with Art? I think it will be so much fun!" She said following it up with little to no room to interject. "Well actually..." He tried to slip a sentence in, but Lilly like normal was full of energy and continued right along without waiting for a reply. Lilly always seemed to have such a lovely smiled that would brighten almost anyone's day.

"Are you thinking of going on a job soon?" She said looking up at him. "Well, it just so happens that it seems I shall be accompanying you and Art on whatever adventure you seem to be going on. I hope that is ok with you I would hate to upset someone as lovely as yourself." He said with a gracious smile. He looks around the room really quickly thinking to himself realizing Art has already speed on ahead at a breakneck pace, before looking back at Lilly "It would seem Art has already gone ahead. I was told to meet at the west end of town I would be delighted if you would allow someone as myself to accompany you there as well. For myself it's been sometime since I'v been on any jobs with other people, I would love to learn more about yourself as well." Hibiki said as he locked eyes with Lilly giving his normal casual smile back at her.

Lilly was ecstatic as always doing a little dance at the knowledge of Hibiki taking part in a mission with her. This has a calming feeling that did bring some relief know that he was not unwanted by the team. "So... Hibiki do you want to go now?" Their was nothing left for him to really do the only luggage he needed was his violin case so he was ready to go. Grabbing his violin case as Lilly did a love bow. Though for a moment he did hesitate thinking what might happen if a fight broke out. On the inside a dreaded feeling washed over him, but he was quick to shake it off showing nothing on the outside.

"C'mon! Let's go! We've got a mission to complete!" Even with the hesitation he told himself that he was going to change. Who knows maybe after sometime he has lost that side of him and he may be able to control himself. With a deep breath and a smile to show no worries he allowed Lilly to lead. "Of course, I can't wait to join you both on the mission lead the way." It was nice to finally be able to rely on someone else for something this would be a good refresher for himself. Though as they set off it hit him that he really didn't know much about most of the members of the guild except for the S-Class members. That included Lilly who he didn't even know her magic. So while on their way towards the meeting point Hibiki while being dragged along by Lilly spoke up. "Lilly if you don't mind me asking what form of magic do you use. I feel ashamed to know so little about you really." He asked with a slightly more serious face. All the while still heading over to meet Art ready to get the mission underway.

Art held Apple as he explained voraciously why he couldn't go. Despite the threat she issued he still didn't want to go and Art wasn't one to force anything onto anyone. She released him with a look of disdain before he could change his mind, adamant on making her threat a promise. She rolled her eyes and made her way towards the meeting point, leaping and running along the rooftops of the city. She was irate on many levels. Apple was a good friend and an amazing mage. She just wished that he would apply himself more. She hated that he had so much potential and was wasting it. She had little tolerance for slackers in Fairy Tail, especially those with high caliber magic. If he refused to learn from her then she would no longer mentor him. And it was as simple as that.

Besides, she still had Lily to teach. Lily could be a bit overbearing with her constant hyperactivity but she was a good pupil and she had just as much potential as Apple, if not more. Besides, Apple would definitely be missing out. The Artist let her anger dissipate just as quickly as it had come when she spotted Hibiki and Lily chatting while walking down the street. A light smile crossed her features as she sped ahead of them. She waited quietly on the rooftop just ahead of them as they approached the meeting point. As soon as they got closer she jumped down. She wasn't oblivious to the glares thrown her way for the revealing wardrobe she donned but she ignored them all the same. She was not a conformist nor was she a woman to be inhibited by anything – Especially not clothes. “We're going to an island. There's a curse placed on it and they need our lovely expertise to break it. It is an S-Class mission, so stay on your toes. There may be a Dark Guild at work here. Lily, this is your first S-Class mission so I don't expect you to do perfectly but I expect you to give it your all. Hibiki and I will do all that is within our powers to make sure that you make it back alive. Also, if you do well enough you'll get some of my caramels. So you better bust your ass, get your game face on, and get serious. These S-Class missions are no joke and people have died trying to complete them. Understand?”

She held a serious tone though she kept a cheery smile and a twinkle in her eyes. She made sure that Lily understood that she would be safe no matter what the cost. Art had no intentions of letting the young girl die on her watch, even if it came down to putting her own life on the line. Protecting innocent people was what she lived for. Though she didn't often overtly show it she was quite fond of the younger Dragon Slayer and she wanted to see her succeed and reach her full potential. There was so much more to teach her though and she had quite a bit of learning to do. She wasn't worried about Hibiki because she had seen him fight and it was far more magnificent than his music – Though she obviously knew she was by far more elegant in battle than he. Personal opinion, some might say. Fact, by her own saying. She wanted to hurry back though because she wanted to know what the Guild Master needed of the S-Class mages. She knew that the journey alone could take days to complete but she had a record for completing her jobs as quickly as she did efficiently.
