Rank: Aspiring to S-Rank
Crest Location: Left Bicep, color a pinkish-red.
Weapon: None at the moment
Height: 5'3
Weight: 125lb
Party: TBA
Appearance:
Sera has bright red hair that goes to her shoulders, and she usually wears some of it up in a pony tail off to the left side of her head. She has pale skin and eyes that are almost as red as her hair. Era stands at only 5'3, and she only weighs 125 lb, but she is still very physically fit, light on her feet, and graceful. She is able to jump around and do flips in mid air with little trouble, but she is only able to do this after years of training.
She is always in the same clothes which are completely white. Her outfit looks like a dress, since it doesn't end until her mid thigh, but really the bottoms are divided into shorts so she can move around easier. She also always has the same necklace on, which is a upside down golden triangle with strange designs on it hanging by a black thread, it is her family's crest and she wears it proudly. Most of the time Seara won't be wearing shoes, because her feet are tough and strong, but when she does they'll be plain white and mostly be fabric.
Sera is a firm believer in the idea that scars never go away, that time cannot heal everything. This goes is part of the mindset he has that people need to face their problems and that it is by doing this that they can grow as a person. Never being one to shy away when problems arise up her direct and no nonsense attitude in life makes it so that she very rarely has an issue that is not dealt with quickly. Since she himself has many problems she has an amazing ability for empathy, talking over people's problems when they need too and helping them confront them.
Era has always been very protective of those around her, she cares for everyone in her own way, sometimes she says harsh things in hopes it'll make them stronger, and other times she will be understanding and caring. She is hard to figure out, so not many people try, but in all honesty, she doesn't want people to understand her. Sometimes she wonders how she ended up in Fairy Tail, because of her dark past; she should be a dark person, but she can't bring herself to do something evil, because she feels if she gives into the dark, sheβll lose everything she has worked for. Sera is someone who is driven by the will to do right in the word, and the will to have courage, which is what her name means. Sera, One With Courage.

Book One: A Child Of A Dragon
A storm, a horrible storm with winds that could nearly carry away a child, this storm converted the dank burnt wastelands in the far south. The air was thick as rain fell so hard it hurt the small girl with strange hair. She cried and cried, and cried, but it seemed no one heard. She was scared, alone, and freezing. The small girl kept walking while she cried out for her mommy or daddy, but no one seemed to hear her. Thunder cracked across the sky, making the small girl flinch and start to run against the wind. She tripped, she fell, and she curled up into a ball and sobbed.
The girl was lost, she did not understand how she became lost, where she came from, or how she got to where she was, she didn't even remember her parents, though she called out to them with vigor. It was only in the flashes of light that the storm provided that you could see the dark red stains on her thin white soaked dress. The blood did not belong to the girl, but the stench of death clung to her none the less. It was unknown what the girl had witnessed or gone through, but it was clearly not to be seen by the light hearted.
A near by Dragon, who lived in the lands that the child was lost in, heard the small girls pleas for help, and he dropped down and shielded the girl from the rain and wind until morning, when the storm calmed and the wind let up. Haixuck, the Dragon that held claim on the land, the dragon that was rumored to breathe soot and smoke, covering the land with a shroud of darkness. The one who brings the night in the day. He is a white dragon with scarred pearlescent scales that glow like the moon under water but on his underbelly he has scales as crimson as glowing embers. Haixuck. He commands blue skies to give birth to storms of fire lightning.
The Dragon was rumored to be cruel and evil, but in reality he was actually very caring, at least in the the case of the young girl. He took in the small child and gifted her as few had been gifted before in the ancient Dragon Slayer magic. Haitxuck took the girl under his wing, and even named her. The lost child became Sera One With Courage, breather of fire, a Dragon's child. The girl was very happy with this life, and she was happy until the age of thirteen, when she woke up one morning to find her dragon, her father, missing.
She searched high and low, but could never find him again. After staying a few more days, Sera left to search for her father and to make a life for herself. For the longest of times she felt horribly betrayed and alone, and that's when she met a man named Asura Gorgon.
For a short time the man took in the young girl, making sure she was well fed and given a proper education, but after two month of Sera living with him, he revealed his true colors. Asura trafficked young children into slaves and child soliders. He threw Sera to the dogs and made her into not only a slave but one of the finest soldiers he had. She was able to hide her powers and train in secret with the older children, but this place was hell. The children were chained up, beaten and killed.
Every month ten children would be thrown into a pit, two by two, instructing them to kill one another, and the victor would be able to live to see to the next month. At the end of each of these tournaments there were only five left. Sera was first thrown into the pit when she was fourteen, after a year of being in this hell, she had to go against everything she was taught and everything she believed in to live to see another day. She never lost a fight. The men who owned the children had them working on mines, looking for something deep in the earth, there were rumors that it was something that would grant the men great power, a Dragons Heart.
A Dragons Heart was a stone rumored to grant a human the power of being able to track down and control a Dragon. Sera had no interest in controlling a Dragon, but tracking one down was something she was keen on doing. The men lead the children everywhere there was such a lead on the stone, and so for another year Sera put up with the death and the slavery. That is, until they tried to make her kill her closest friend, and teacher.
Sera stood across an empty, sandy field down in a pit, from a dark blue haired young boy. The cheers from up above did not match the childrens grim expressions. A gung rang, singingly the start of the fight, but neither child moved. They just stared at one another. "Well, that do you think, Sera?" The boy called out towards the red haired girl, their hair colors the brightest objects in the sandy opening. The girl blinked twice, trying to understand his meaning.
"What do you mean, Nox?" The girl called back, making the older boy sigh and shake his head. He took a step forward, and she took a step back. They were once best friends, but not they were enemies, neither could trust one another down in this pit, only one would come out alive. Neither of them had ever lost a battle, they were both determined, and they both taught each other everything they know. Well, almost everything.
"I'm asking what do you yourself, think of who you are?" The girls eyes widened and silence came from up above, where other slaves and adults watched. They were getting anxious, they had never had two children converse as much as these two were now. "Are you at peace with taking peoples lives because your Masters ordered you to?" The girl took another step back as Nox took another step forward. Her eyes grew wider, taking in every word that left his lips. "Are you that unquestioning?" Sera flinched. if what he said was true, then she was nothing more than a...
"I don't believe that who you are, because thats no different from a..." Their lips moved at the same time, hers trembling but his firm and set into a straight line. "Puppet" Sera stumbled backwards, until she tripped over a rock and fell onto her back. Nox moved forward slowly, step by step, watching her closely. Everyone above them cheered, amazed that the boy had such an effect on her with his words alone. They thought the battle was almost over, but that was far from the truth.
"When the world shoves you down, you just have to get back up and shove back." Nox was standing over Sera now. He held out a hand to her, a small wiry grin forming on his face. "Can you do that, Sera?" Outraged screamed filled the arena as the girl took the offered hand, and Nox pulled her to her feet. "I can," She stood up and dusted herself off, but the foreboding feeling in Sera's stomach didn't vanquish once she was back onto her feet. She still had a feeling that only one of them would leave alive.
"We're stuck in a cycle of hatred and death." Nox whispered, leaning in close to Sera's ear. her eyes narrowed, understanding his words. "Someone has to stop the cycle." Nox shook his head and he took a step back, his steely blue eyes staring into her fiery red ones. "You have to." Sera's eyes widened. She understood now what was going to happen. Nox was going to make her kill him.
They lunged at each other at the same time, his fist raising, a black essence leaking from his fist, and Sera raised her own fist, fire glowing around it. Their hands collided as the watching crowd cheered. A bust of power left of both them and her fire turned black and they were both pushed backwards. Sera turned in the air, landing on her hands and feet as Nox landed on his feet, sliding backwards. They jumped forwards once again, the ground around their feet crumbling from the mere power they both distributed around them. The other children watched in awe and the adults in amazement yet rage.
Both children had managed to hide their powers for so long, it seemed impossible. The fight went on for nearly two hours, both children giving it their all. None of the fights had ever lasted this long, the adults were growing bored of the fight, but they knew that neither child would last much longer. The children knew this as well. In a last attempt to get the upper hand, Sera slid right between Noxs legs, knocked him to the ground, and pinned him, her fiery hand near his chest, over his heart.
"The weak do not deserve to choose their death. I have been granted the choice, and one day, you will too." Before Sera could do anything, Nox moved forward. Her hand went through his chest, hitting his heart and melting a hole into her body. His body fell limp, and Sera stared on with wide eyes, her hand soaked in her friends blood. The silence was deafening, but slowly, cheers echoed all around Sera. She stood up, her hair covering her eyes as she clenched her fists. She was tired of all of this, of the death and pain. She had tolerated it up to today, but now it was too much. Nox was right. She had to end it, she could, and she would.
After the fight had ended Sera waited to strike until she was in front of the leaders of this slave hell. They had chained her hands and bound her feet and pulled her before them, even though she had won she would be killed her hiding her power. Her hand was still stained in now dry blood. Anger was keeping her awake and making her blood almost literally boil. The man who pushed her along flinched from the heat of her skin. "What do you have to say for yourself, slave." Asura called down to her from the ledge he stood upon.
Sera clenched her fists, and then, pulled both her hands outwards until the chain keeping her trapped snapped. She used her leg strength to push upwards, the ground cracked beneath her and she twisted and spun in the air until she was crouched beside him, the wood that sound her feet splintering and tearing apart from the mere force she landed at. "From the time we are born, we are free. Flaming water, frozen earth, I don't care what it is. Nothing will keep me from my freedom again." Her voice sounded strained and dark.
Sera stood up, the men around her gaping and getting ready to attack. She sent bundles of flames at all of them, and they ran without a second thought. Leave their oh so grand leader behind. "I wont regret killing you...but first...tell me more of the Dragon Heart." She man fell to his knees, a circle of fire surrounding the two of them. From afar only silence and the crackling of fire could be heard in the valley for a short time, but then a mans agonized screams filled the air, as well as the smell of burning flesh.
Further than the ear could hear, a Dragons roar splitted the air like thunder.
A year later and Sera was sixteen. She had set all of the child slaves free and hunted down nearly all of the men who had once held them all captive. She wandered around aimlessly for a year, following leads on the Dragons Heart Stone and searching for her Dragon. It was in that year that she met someone in Fairy Tail. They brought her to the guild because they were enchanted of her tales. Shortly after Sera joined the guild, she became close to everyone and now strived to protecting her friends.
She still searching for the Dragons Heart stone in hopes of finding her father, other than protecting her loved ones it's her biggest goal in life. She'll take up as many missions as needed so she can find him. If anything, just to find out why he left her all alone. Era has been away from the guild for a month, looking into a rumor on the stone, but she will be returning soon.
